By the way, don't buy the Cookies branded flower. It's old, dry, and nasty. That's why it's sold at 45 per 1/8th, and not 54. See how that works?

I have been coming here for years!! I am a 55 disabled person. I'm truly a medical patient. They got rid of their local discount. Not only is it a greedy thing to do but a truly bad time during COVID. I have been buying an OZ there every week minimum. I don't qualify for a senior discount so taking away the local discount is costing me an extra $30. A week. I've even stuck it out while they took down CBX. Only to have it return at half quality. I voted for recreational because I thought it would help lower the costs but it just gave the state, room to put even more tax on it. It was supposed to go to our failing schools but nope. I guess I'll be looking for a new place or different options.
Stopped here with a friend not knowing what to experience. He is a usual here, but me being from out of state I had never been in.The parking lot was busy with people coming in and out. The security guard outside was helping open and close the door. We walked on in and the front desk ladies were very friendly. Gave her my ID and my friend gave her his. She then input my stuff on the computer and we were on our way. The process was quick. We were then able to head into the bigger room where we could actually shop around. The inside was busy. People were coming and going.We were quickly helped and the associate was very nice and knowledgeable. He recommended some stuff and what not and knew what he was talking about.It is cash only so be prepared. There is an ATM machine you can use inside but it does have a fee. Items are priced reasonably but I was taken away with how high tax is. Overall I had a good first time experience at this location.
You have got to get rid of your phone system. Outsourcing so our calls are answered by rude Indian reps that threaten to hang up on me because I tell them that cannabis isn't legal in India is absurd. Everytime I've called, I've either been hung up on or never received a call back. You're a local dispensary in Vegas, not a fucking Fortune 100 company. FYI he put me on hold for over 10 minutes and hung up on me. Not the first time I've been hung up on and had to physically drive to the store - I'm done, you guys have the worst customer service of all Nevada dispensaries.Fun fact: I called back, spoke to some woman in Belize who said I'm not able to speak to a budtender and that if I have questions, they cannot be answered. And if I leave a message; I'll get a call back. Guess what? I did that a few times the past few months and NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK even when I had a delivery arrive that day!!! I called to find out about my delivery and ended up sitting on my ass for 12 hours for your useless service. What is the point of the phone system, piss off customers? I'll stick to the Apothecarium or ReLeaf or even the Dispensary, where they value clients and actually pickup the phone and call me back.
Great service from messiah. First he figured out what i liked then he recommended his favorites for the type I liked and also recommend some great alternatives for if I felt like trying something new. Great guy would recommend this establishment because of him.
Mysterious charges and products I did not order included! I ordered a CBD tincture (4 bottles) for anxiety, thinking it would make more sense to order in bulk and avoid the delivery fee. At the time of the order, the product was listed at $25/ bottle. I placed the order for a next day delivery and received an email confirmation with invoice for $100.80 plus tax, which came out to $119.32, and a notice to have cash in that amount ready. I later received a message that my delivery window was from 9am-9pm, and that I'd get an ETA when my order was close to being dropped off. I figured they'd give me a 2 hour window or something. Even the cable company gives you a 4 hour window!I had to step out of the house in the morning, so I left money with the husband...and of course, that is when I got the notification that they were delivering my order in 6 minutes! He was able to pay and get the order, but when I got home, I saw that instead of the $119 I was supposed to be charged... they charged me $190! I had two papers stapled to my bag, one with the invoice I was sent ($119) and another receipt with a new amount, which included an order for a gram of marijuana flower, and sure enough, there it was in the bag. The receipt listed the product at $37.80 instead of $25.I logged into my account and looked at my order. There the product was listed with the advertised price, however, there was a mysterious $1 "Adjust Order Product" that I was charged 52 times, which did not match my invoice or my receipt. The website was also advertising a special for a free gram of weed with every order over $150. I never requested this deal, and I didn't want it. I don't smoke weed. Needless to say, I will never use this dispensary again. Have no idea how much an order may cost me when ordering! Plus, they put regulated drugs I didn't ask for in my order. Not cool.I recommend Euphoria Wellness on Jones and Robindale for a much better experience.

Always have a great experience when i come to this dispensary. Security always greets me as i walk up, front entrance staff are always super pleasant and were efficient when i needed to update my information in their system. This time i had Jeremy and he was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of information and education on my products. This location has a great staff and whoever is in charge of hiring and management is doing a GREAT job! The environment is so inviting even i would want to work there just on that alone!
I was in and out of this place without knowing what to actually get.. The staff was very friendly my budtender Messiah gave me excellent recommendations and amazing customer service very helpful explained based of what I enjoy which and why the product was the best choice when I got home I was not disappointed thank you Messiah!
First time I've walked into this dispensary. The customer service was horrible. I asked to let my boyfriend stand more than 6 feet away (staying within COVID protocol) so that he could help me order what I wanted. They were so busy talking over us that we could not come to a solution. I was not asking to break the 6 foot rule, I just needed his help as he knows what works best for me. We walked out and spent our $200.00 dollars elsewhere. They could have simply handed us a menu to look at outside and one of us could have come inside to purchase. They really need to work on helping their customers not talking over them and shutting them down.

The customer service here was awful. I called ahead of time to make sure they had the sale I wanted and when I came in-Andy who is in picturedirected me to the wrong items for the sale even when I specified this was why I came in. He "threw in" a lighter that he then charged me for as well. I corrected the order but he got an attitude with me. In a city where customer service is very important and there are dispensaries on every corner this is not a business I will be returning to.
Im from Vegas and i have been to a few different locations of Essence dispenserarys and this is by far THE WORST location ever. From customer service to products! Very rude and unprofessional. The manager himself is a racist discriminating person i hope to never come across to. Wont ever go back to this place. I hope for remanagement.
Y'all are normally great and I understand trying to chat customers up is the new "hot customer service trend," but when there is a line around the building in December and only 2 counter employees...customers should be serviced and out the door in a timely fashion. 20+ minute conversations at the counter shouldn't be going on.
Definitely my go-to dispensary. They have deals everyday, and customer service has always been amazing. I love ordering online for pickup and curbside. They text you when it's ready you never have to wait if you order online! Also I believe they have deals on prerolls 5 for $35.
Packed parking lot TONS OF curbside orders and they have 1 guy working..... ONE!!! He's killin it out here! Not complaining but just don't think it's cool to work these guys like this. Just sayin

I have been a medical patient with Essence for 5 years and today I called because I couldn't go out so to level of pain so I placed an order through "Blackbird" which I hate. Ever since they started using this company everything has been messed up!!!!!! SonI called to talk to someone, but nope that wasn't possible they WOULD NOT even let me talk to the manager!!!! I never did receive my order and will never go there again. They suck. They don't care about their customers at all. I will shopping with another more reliable Dispensery now!!!! Thank you Essence for forcing me to go elsewhere!!!! This place is much nicer, in a better part of town, and the people are SOOOOOO MUCH MORE PLEASANT!!!!
I love this place honestly. Very kind when they greet you, prices are WONDERFUL and on top of that even their lowest tier has GREAT FLOWER!!!! You can come in and spend $9 on a gram and it will be as dank as other dispensaries top tier. Like seriously they have the best prices and best deals. One time they had a buy an 8th get the other for $1... yes I said ONE DOLLAR. Always a clean atmosphere, the lines always move super fast unlike other places who'll have you waiting forever. Also every time you shop you gain loyalty cash that you can use on your next purchase or let it build up and get something for free. ALSO ON MY BIRTHDAY THEY GAVE ME A FREE PREROLL, it was dank as ever and I could tell it was top tier. Most places will try to give you a cheap preroll that won't even affect you. If you're looking for weed at a good price, go to Essence!
When essence opened they had a loyalty program where that made sense. They Changed It. They offered a local discount and guess what that is no longer available. The bud is dry and not nearly as potent as most good street bud. OVERPRICED WITH HIDDEN FEES. They once were respectful and like most business they have became too big too care. They are already making good money. Why would you lowest grade eighth be 46$ out the door and almost 65 for Premium. They took away locals discount and don't realize I have sent over 100 people to you in the last two years alone. I would go to Planet 13. They have a way better system which allows you to browse and shop and take pictures and see what you are getting yourself into. Also a way better experience. This bud is dry, overpriced and the atmosphere is no longer friendly. They do not offer grams. They used to but They ALSO TOOK THAT AWAY. They are not interested in what their customers want. I'm surprised the tropicana place went to crap. It actually used to be a fun place I looked forward to visiting. DO NOT GO THERE. NO VEGAS EXPERIENCE, MEDIOCRE BUD, OVERPRICED PRODUCT. I simply do not trust them. Everything they did to gain my trust they have piece by piece destroyed it. They lost a loyal customer in me. I recommend reconsidering Essence.
This place is pretty amazing and prices are hard to beat! They're all pretty knowledgeable there too and are able to answer questions that you may have! The staff is very friendly and always a smile on their faces. If you're visiting the area and not sure which shop to visit I'm telling you right now this one will have everything you need and they've got the best prices in town along with multiple locations to shop at although I prefer this one. Was only in town for a short while but managed to visit quite few dispensaries in the area and some of them have higher prices for what you're getting and seem more directed towards tourists and first time buyers but rest assured coming here as a first time buyer that the staff and team at this location are SUPER friendly, well educated and have no problems answering any of your questions. Rachel and Geo helped me the two times I was here and really made it a great experience. Along with recreational products they also are available for medicinal purposes as well which is super convenient. Everyday they have various deal on products and I wish every shop was as professional and friendly as Essence!
Finally. A company in vegas who follows thru with email. I was offered a deal from a previous bad experience. The people here stand by their products and word.After verifying email and honored their written promise. The people are super friendly and very knowledgable. The budtender even gave me papers from his own stash to make sure we were taken care of. I will only come to this location if I need any product. Service is def top notch here.
This place is straight finessin people. I'm fine tipping people that offer good service. But to wait 30 minutes after talking to 3 people and than be forgotten about is no good service. They don't say online they won't be giving change, but they do say they are only accepting cash. After handing them my cash, they let me know no change will be given back after handing them all $20's for a $63 dollar order. Not good businesses or communication between anyone. I won't be visiting this place on my future visits anymore.

They had a deal where you were supposed to get double tickets for yelp reviews but I only got one for yelp, wah! Oh well, hopefully I win that raffle and take Home an OZ! That would be amazing! Such a great incentive and great way to keep coming back for more opportunities for raffle tickets. The atmosphere is great. Today I had a knowledgeable budtender named Sonja. She helped me with some grape stomper and didn't disappoint. It's a move hybrid with beautiful indica body feels. Can't wait to be back and check out other strains and products.
Showed up last night for a Mobil pickup and wasn't told that the 10% locals discount was discontinued until payment time. I was short in cash and ended up having an almost three dollar charging fee! WOW. New management failed and just lost several loyal customers.
I pay top dollar for flower from this place.I just got some of Redwoods "sweet tea" flower. Every 1/8 had at least 2-3 seeds in it. I talked to a manager and he basically told me to kick rocks!Said I purchased my bud a week ago and that's a long time, lolNot to mention the people around their wearing security shirts are doing NOTHING but wasting oxygen. Wish I could give this place zero stars. My boyfriend and I came here around 11pm. Now mind you, this isn't a great area to be in alone for one and two it's LATE. We pull up get to the door and the security guard proceeds to tell us that in order for both of us to get in we both have to be buying something but we both would be purchasing with different bud tenders. My boyfriend would be the only one purchasing and we have never encountered this at other dispensaries before. My boyfriend then tells the security guard that he doesn't want to leave me alone in the car especially in the area we're in at night and the security guard had the audacity to say "well she can stay out here by the front near the door and I can get her a chair while you get what you need." Excuse me? You want a woman, to stand out in the mother effing COLD?! What kind of man are you? So we told him that's definitely not what we want to do so we took our business elsewhere.
I love this location! Everyone, from security to staff is AWESOME! I've had the amazing pleasure of being assisted by SABRINA and never has she failed me with any product she has recommended to me. She's a ROCK STAR and knows her stuff!
Essence is an awesome place! Great products and a variety of items. They carry some of the best cannabis brands in Las Vegas and I salute them for that. They run a variety of deals too so occasionally you can snag some high end products at lower prices.
So disappointed! New ownership? (Same name). As an old-school guy who, back in the day, never ever imagined this future where you can walk in and purchase cannabis and partake legally. As an old-school consumer I was never aware of all of the technical terms and descriptive words used when choosing from inventory. Back then, there never were choices in inventory. You got what was available and it was what it was. It was pretty simple. And much less expensive. However, the 'higher' prices now also equate to significantly improved quality and as a result much less is needed. So there's that.What I loved about my neighborhood retail outlet - Essence on Tropicana - was how incredibly friendly the staff 'was'. I always let them know that I wasn't educated on the terminology, choices, etc and, without fail, they would be gentle and guide me through the options. Sativa vs. Indica, edible vs. smoke-able, etc. I was always made to feel very comfortable and would leave knowing more than when I arrived. Today I returned for the first time since "new" ownership/management took over. Completely different experience. The rep was not talkative, not clarifying for me the 'description' of the product - I know what THC is but she was conveying some other information about the product that related to the differences (CBD, etc). She was rushed and seemed annoyed when I asked for clarification and a little more explanation. Overall, I felt uncomfortable and experienced a vibe that I can only contribute to a person not happy in their job or dealing with the public - particularly a member of the 'older generation' -- everything totally opposite with my past interactions and experiences at this store.Oh well...I'll just fine another supplier. Unlike 'back-in-the-day' I now have a choice and can shop around.
They are extremely expensive almost $10 more than the other dispensary and I will not shop with them again you'll be better off shopping at nuwu

Damn, first dispensary ive ever been, but this i think will put all the other ones to high expectations.Outside looked like a refurbished Taco Bell or some sort of fast food joint. As you walk in, oh man, all professional service from the service line to the actually room with all the items..Very very professional and the people working there are very knowledgeable as well.. highly recommended.
Just want to say how amazing the curbside service is. It literally blows all of the other curbside stores out of the water. Immediately I was taken care of when I pulled up. My budtender ,Zae , Was super quick about everything and really nice. Thanks for the good work guys. Remember to tip your budtender !!They deserve it.
Their phone customer service is so bad. It gets routed to the Philippines or Thailand or something. You can't even reach the local store whatsoever. Tried explaining that the website is not always perfect and I just wanted to double check to make sure with the physical location since the other locations had the product but didn't deliver to my address before I ordered somewhere else. All she kept saying was menu was real time. Well a few other stores I called hadn't gotten around to updating the inventory on their site and actually did have the items in stock. Anyways sorry for trying so hard to give you my money lol. Just weird for me to see the cannabis industry so corporate and cold. Definitely miss the So. Cal. Medicinal days.

This was my go to to dispensary for the longest time. My fiancé placed an order because we were back in the neighborhood. Jamie gave us attitude when we arrived for curb side pick up, seeming completely bothered by the fact we arrived before receiving the confirmation text.. This is our first time doing curbside with essence and we're not aware of her "preference" that we wait for the text before arriving.. I personally wanted to cancel the order, but my fiancé wanted otherwise. We will not be returning to this location.
Everytime I am in town they have great selections. I can get what I need with ease and always have a pleasant experience.
This is the only dispensary I have ever been to, but I won't be going back. A few weeks ago, I purchased an indica dominant cartridge for my pen. At the time I was told it was 1/2 gram. I told the budtender, that it didn't look like 1/2 gram, he swore to me that it was. I stated again. It looks wrong, he said that the new cartridges looked like this. When I compared it to my cartridge in my car, it looked wrong. I returned later that day. I stated that it was not 1/2 gram. The new budtender stated it was, and that it could not be returned. I asked her to compare the cartridge to others they had. She said, that although, it looked wrong, it would last the same amount of time. Now it's nearly empty. I don't know if it was willful, or just negligent, but I did not receive 1/2 gram cartridge. There are so many dispensaries in this town, there's no point in going to this one. They either ripped me off, or they're negligent. Here is photographic proof that I did not receive the correct product. The actual 1/2 gram cartridge in the picture was purchased weeks before the one they claimed was. As you can see, it's still got quite a bit in it.
The guy suggested one of the top shelf "the beat of all"-he said. The weed was harvested 7 moths ago. If you asking yourself how it smells,well it doesn't smell at all.Very,very dry and it makes you high for 20minutes.We talking about 50$+ for 3.5.The best one he said.I used to like that place.Last time!

Placed an order for pickup on 2/9/20. My order was ready within 15 min of placing it. Soon as I walked in the door the lady behind the window greeted me. She was extremely friendly and welcoming. She sent me to the back to pick up my order and that went smoothly. In fact what I got wouldve cost me about $35 MORE where I live (San Diego) for the same quality and amount.The best part was when I got back to my hotel. Holy Moley that weed was sooo good, Tahoe Alien, Garlic Cookies and pre pk 3 mini joints. I reccomend this place. Thank you Essence! I'll be back next time I'm in town.

If we are going in stores to buy it's because we don't know what we are getting how are you going to only have one person go in if we are buying an item together we should be able to decide what item we want together or am I the only one this makes sense too? I get it's Covid but it just doesn't make sense to me !
I order curbside pick up and no luck. After waiting 15 mins in parking lot, in spot 2#, in front of the door. A guard came to my car and said no curbside they are closed. That's awesome since I just got a text to tell me my curbside pick up was ready. I didn't want to go in, so you wasted my time it's gonna be real hard to ever go back.
Horrible service I wouldn't recommend anyone going here they are very aggressive and fill entitled the security inside is even worse I would recommend ShowGrow over Essence and they also don't have any organization going on they barely know where they're products are
If you stop in on your birthday (the actual day), you get a free pre-roll of your choice! Subject to their availability of course. But still :D my birthday was extra special this year, thanks Essence~ however, please consider posting signage of some sort asking people not to litter! Okay this place was pretty good. Their brands passes a nice selection of product from very refutable farms.The inside of the place itself is very mainstream feeling - almost like the runway in a Zoolander movie. It was hard not to flash blue steel in there. The music was right up my alley. All very upbeat and contemporary chill songs.The prices are as expected. Selection ranges from flower, to edible, wax, tincture, etc etc all the good stuff you know and love.This shop made my list of actual GOOD spots I've been to (which is now 3 stores long and counting). Whether recreational or medical, Essence has what you're looking for.P.S.: first timers get a pretty decent preroll for $1
My boyfriend is a regular at this dispensary! I used to be and then I got pregnant yadda yadda this review is on his behalf... and there's a reason. His job demands that he works all over the city and trust me there are many other dispensaries that he can go to but this is his FAVORITE! He will drive across town just to ensure that he gets great product and customer service. The bud tenders are knowledgeable as well as personable and the prices are very reasonable. As with all dispensaries, bring cash!
Bud tenders are slow. They talk for WAY too long, have little to no interest in efficiency. The line barely moves when it's busy. They don't cover the tax in their prices. Everything is priced in a way designed to make you spend extra money. The parking lot is a nightmare & it's chalk full of sketchy characters. The menus are complete bullshit. They are unorganized, too small to read & they have NO hand held menus to look at. So no one knows what they want until they get the BT. The facility itself is way too small. Their accessories are over priced and of poor quality. Quite frankly, it was almost easier when it was illegal.
I used to spend upwards of 500-700 dollars a week at this location and I always tip the budtenders. I stopped going near as much because the security are rude and obviously don't like being there. How am I supposed to feel safe when your security doesn't even act like my business is valued? And if your store is going to close down for a deep clean at 6, don't tell the people that have been waiting in line, in the cold for 30 minutes, that they have to come back in 30 minutes only to find out that the store will be closed for an additional 2 hours when they get back. After all this trouble I politely asked if I should could just wait and I was told "you can be cold and wait or you can go to another dispensary" so, if my business isn't valued here, I'll gladly go elsewhere. Pretty sure I can buy your products anywhere in town anyways.
I've only been to this dispensary twice but both times it's always been amazing service, I don't know too much about weed and I love that they always help me and give me more information on different items. Even through the curbside pickup service was amazing! One of the guys (I couldn't remember his name my memory is horrible) but he made some jokes and sparked a conversation and made it a memorable experience. I'll definitely be going back !
Absolutely horrible customer service and treatment from the security guard outside. We were going to spend good money but instead my boyfriend and I were literally yelled at before we got in, like we were in trouble or doing something illegal. We were told we can't go in because we don't both have the same address. That rule is odd but would be fine if he wasn't yelling and being so rude. Then without us even saying anything he added a snide comment to insult us both. Absolutely nuts. We are from Santa Barbara and have been here about a month, we have been to about 5 dispensaries in the area where they treated us great, including Reef and The Dispensary. The customer service at both those places is amazing, and the staff is super helpful with helping you find exactly what you are looking for. Don't shop here unless you want to be belittled by someone on a power trip. It's clear there is no management.
Super bummed about my experience this time at essence. I have been once before to the rainbow location and I was so excited to take my mom as she and I go back and forth on good experiences. We stopped at the Durango location (I wanted to try a new essence location) but were told that they didn't have "medical" and mom is medical and on a budget so we headed to the Tropicana location as per the suggestion of the Durango rep. When we got to the trop store we were told we could only enter to buy separate which was frustrating bc i shop with my mom bc she likes to try new things. Understanding the current situation this is not my issue and I understand. The real issue here is that not only was my mom not told about any of the deals that I bragged about, she was not given a 1st time buyer discount or her senior citizen discount When she realized this she had to put stuff back and the sales person did not help with her sale or suggestions. After she came out, separate than me, I told her what I had and she was bummed and said she could have traded and made some other things work. I know that everyone is frustrated in the current situation but that is not a reason to not provide good sales and customer service. Will not return to this location.

I've been coming here for years since they opened! And I've always felt welcomed and warmth from staff until today......... I was in line trying to figure out a address from a friend until security one of the GHETTO girl decided to get in my face and yell at me to get off the phone! While I was finished my Sentence she threatened to kick me out and got a manager involved! Which he was very kind and let me stay! But I don't think ill ever come to this location again! I will go elsewhere cause I felt so uncomfortable and another ascotiate had to get involved to yell at me to! I'm just floored at the service ill never step foot in here again! Even tho I got what I needed but how I was treated left a HUGE bad taste in my mouth! Perhaps Hire better people with class and not Ghetto fools with a chip on their shoulders... sorry guys but you lost me!

This place has fallen off. Once my favorite dispensary in the city. Seems like as soon as they went corporate the service all around has gone down hill. Granted they do run great specials. I'd rather spend my money where I'll have a positive experience. Just spent 25 mins in line just to walk out because there were so short staffed. They need to try and keep up with the demand. Sad.
Location is fine, phones suck they never pick up. I find myself being endlessly "first in line" according to the phone recording.
Best service in town don't waste your time going to other dispensaries that will take your money and will not guarantee their products and try to give you long excuses In order to pocket your money and leave you their shitty products. Had a problem with a cartridge tonight similar to thrive and was very satisfied with the fact that they gave me a pen not tried to sell me a new pen. Besides the fact that Zach is always really friendly and has a big smile on his face when I come in there every week he provided me with a great customer experience and I left there very satisfied and will be coming back every week for my products
I came here looking for something to help with pain relief. I have herniated discs and pinched nerves in my back as well as a pacemaker that gives me problems/pain.I should preface this by saying that marijuana was never "my thing". Every once in awhile after a few drinks I could be talked into taking a puff or two, but I never liked the effects when I was sober.I looked up several dispensaries online and decided on this location based on the amount of options that had extremely low THC. I went it wanting to buy tinctures but was open to capsules as well. I was looking for pure CBD oil with no THC, but was unable to find it (at that time- I have since found it at vape shops). I know it seems weird but I'm pretty sure I'm allergic THC. Upon arriving I wasn't sure where to go in (it's on the back of the building parallel to Tropicana). The doors didn't have a big sign but you can only go in to the right. The smell in the waiting room almost knocked me down. I'm pretty sure you can get a buzz just standing there. The cashier verified my age by my license, entered something in the computer, and then sent me to the back. There you're met with another line and a long counter that has employees all down the length of it to assist you. They have separate lines in the waiting room and product room for medical patients which is cool. Unfortunately I didn't get my medical card (since I wasn't sure at that point that it would help me) so I was waiting in the regular line.After a brief wait (6 minutes- only 1 person was in front of me) it was my turn. I was politely greeted by an employee. He listened to my needs and asked a few questions about my pain. He was also nice enough to ask if I was comfortable being specific about the cause of the pain. I had no problem telling him. He went off to check what they had in stock. He came back with some flowers (the smokable plants) and capsules. I didn't want anything to smoke and said that when we were talking. They didn't have any tinctures in stock. The only thing they had was two choices of capsules. I was extremely disappointed. I ended up picking the capsules with the highest CBD oil to THC ratio. The salesman told me that I should only need to take 1 capsule every 2 to 3 days for pain. I purchased it (about $45), tipped, and went home.I tried the capsules and had the same allergic reaction feeling that I have had the last few times that I've had anything with THC. The psychoactive effects distracted from any possible pain relief. I wasted my money because their inventory doesn't match what they show online. If you just want to get high, this is a good place for you to shop. If you're like me, looking for lots of CBD oil for pain relief, this probably isn't the best option.
Omg I love the woman that I met at Showgrow that told me about the prices here & the casino employee discount! I love this spot. I can get 4 prerolls of great premium for 36$ loves it!!! My 1st purchase was gg4 omg . Staff is polite & very knowledgeable
Super friendly and helpful! I had heard that CBD might be good for me - but had no experience with it. Karla took time to explain the various Products - their pros and cons - in detail. It was a fun and enlightening - like having a very hip friend who knows what they're talking about. I feel confident in my purchases and very good about the overall experience. I'll definitely be back.
This place has been pleasant to work with. Their staff is super well educated on their products as well as being attentive. It's a big plus that they're open until 1:00am for people who have a late night craving... ermmm for alternative medicine.Everyone who was working there was very friendly. They gave us a rundown of the menu and suggested what would work best for our needs. We came here twice in a span of a few days. Quality of the flower is on par at best. The downside to all of this is that you don't actually get to see/smell the flower before purchase.Note: If you don't have cash, they have an ATM that only charges $3.00 per transaction. That sure beats the $10.00 ATM fee you get slapped with at local casinos.

Whew!! So much love it's almost overwhelming. The budtenders make this my favorite dispensary. I always leave with what I need and a smile that doesn't fade quickly. This was the first dispensary I visited when i moved here.2 years ago...so glad about it. They still rock my world! Thanks guys for still making me happy for years.
Sabrina has helped me a good handful of times now. She is very personable and really cares about the customer experience, and the retention of customers! She deserves a raise for her kindness alone. She has also been very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. I will continue to visit this location as long as the standard is upheld of Customer service like she provides.
This place is the best. Good service from staff. They are busy yet they still have smiles. Much better than the Apothecary on Flamingo. Where they treated us like shit.

Customer service here is terrible. Some disgruntled budtender named Sabrina wasn't able to make any suggestions and seemed completely unaware of anything related to cannibis. Made the experience a few days ago extremely unpleasant.Go to Reef. They're more expensive but the service and quality is worth it.
Came in here for educational purposes.. Seems to be cash only here at this location. The employees here really seem to know the product and was very intriguing for a curious person as myself. They also deliver here which I'm sure is a delight if your partaking and wanting to be responsible and not get behind the wheel of a car. Come check it out!
This place is ballin'! The staff were friendly from the beginning of the entrance. I like how this place is well regulated (such as ID checks and no firearms inside the dispensary). From someone coming from San Francisco, this dispensary has good selection of strains. I got an 8th of Strawberry Lemonade while my friends ordered prerolls of Strawberry Cough. It was definitely lit. I'd like to come back once I get the chance.
I Just left & had to quickly write my review after. I haven't event tried out my products but I'm solely basing this rating just off of my experience with the staff there. Particularly one of the female bartenders with the reddish hair. I went with relatives around 9pm and as we arrived, the security outside and inside was very welcoming in guiding us inside. After inside was where the real issue started. Getting up to the counter, we received the female staff member, immediately upon reaching her counter, she seemed overwhelmingly annoyed that the 3 of us went to her counter. She then commented that we should've waited one after another to make it quicker for her (i assure you it wouldn't have been any faster if there was just one) even though the customers behind us was already being serviced. So after that ordeal, we asked her a couple of questions since it was our first time there and she had an attitude as if she didn't want to engage with us, tell us the best products, her favorite products, nothing. All she gave us was that we could look on the website for the menu but even then she seemed like she didn't want to wait for us to look. Leaving us to order some of the first things we could see. I could go on with this 15 min experience but this review is already long. The rest of the time there was spent with her ringing us up, still seemingly annoyed and us just ready to get out of there. I've heard such great reviews of this place but I'm upset i left saying "well that first experience was shitty". Hopefully our products make up for the time being there. In the future i might resort to curbside pickup just to avoid her.
We came here in March 2019 and the service was really good. You are not allowed to take photos inside so leave your phone in your bag or you will get kicked out. There is no parking outside but if you take an uber or something they can drop you off right at the door. All you need to purchase is a valid ID. They were very informative about all their products as I am not a weed connoisseur. They only take cash so bring cash if not there is an ATM inside.They basically taught me at the counter. They have a good range of products. They have gummies, chocolate candy, rolled blunts, etc. I ended up getting a pack of gummies. I ate two the first time and they were VERY potent. Def will be coming back anytime I come to Vegas!
the worst customer service of any dispensary i've been to. while waiting to check in, another customer was able to walk in after me and get helped before me. not only did the online order get checked in first, they got and paid for the weed at the check in spot before the rest of us in line could even get checked in. and it was not due to lack of staff, considering there was a team member behind the glass not doing anything. once walking past the check-in portion and into the actual room with the budtenders, there were multiple budtenders sitting around doing nothing as well. there is an entire spot inside for online orders, but instead of sending the online order to the team members not busy inside and checking in the rest of the customers, they made everyone wait on one lady to do all the work. not only did i have a terrible experience, when i asked why i was not being helped, instead of speeding up the process they kicked me out without letting me buy the weed i came there for. will never give that location my money again because of their incompetence. i recommend the south durango location for a better experience.
I would give these place no stars, if I could. I went in on my birthday at 10:30pm, all excited to check out this dispensary for the 1st time. The front desk guy denied me access, saying that my license was expired. It was 6/21 and license was good through 6/21. He told me it expired at midnight on 6/20. So....if they run a promo through a certain date, does the offer expire the day before at midnight? I think not. I went to the Apothecary Shop instead & got an 1/8th & a preroll for $38 after tax. Don't waste your time at a place that doesn't cater to their patrons. Go to Apothecary instead.
This place is away from the strip so that is a win-win situation for locals and it also gives the locals some discounts as well. They have certain 1/8's for $25 which to me I certainly love because they can be $40 to $50 at certain other cannabis dispensaries especially on the LV Strip. Wait Time: Certain times like on weekdays can occur to 5-10 minutes. If you go on a weekend or during the evening time its a hit or miss and you'll be lucky if you wait for 10 minutes. Money Range: if you like 1/8's they have specials for $25 and if you like a more natural and more flavor it'll cost you as much as $45 which is normal pricing for 1/8's. Concentrates pens such as disposable and refillable can cost to $40 - $55. Menu: Wide range menu for what they have. Usually they'll never run out unless it's a high wanting of that certain item. Overall: Really love this place for these 3 reasons: 1) Price ranges, 2) distance away from the LV Strip from tourists, & 3) wide range menu of my needs.
I love this place go there at least once a week. Tonight I paid a 19.98 for a gram of orange cookies and a pack of organic raws rolling papers. I get home only to see my receipt for a dollar. Either your bud tenders are ripping myself as well the establishment off. But this is very shady. I love this place. Hope someone can reach out and justify this type of behavior. I honestly feel ripped off.
Wow what a day. I always enjoy going to Essence many locations. But today was great walking in is always a pleasant experience. My budtender (JAH-JR) was AMAZING. Great customer service from start to finish. I had a few questions he informed me on the product and helped me make my final decision. I felt feeling so satisfied. I will definitely be back again.
Terrible. Taxes are ridiculous. Could have gone to any other and gotten way way better product. The weed was not good. Service was not good and they do not ever answer their phones. Would give then zero stars.

I let him know which terps I was looking for in concentrates and he pulled the best match possible. He was super friendly and was really easy to talk to. Being part of the industry and also a med patient, I understand that customer service is everything. Horrible customer service several employees at this location says Heather the new manager is racist and I experienced first hand. I been a customer here since day one when they opened never had issues until heather got there she wanted to 86 me for nothing until I said I was going to write a letter to corporate she then changed her mind but I'm still writing corporate Employees told me she already been getting complaints please remove this racist nasty evil individual she has no business being a manager walking around with her chest poked out like she better than people I will not be going here to buy my weed anymore even tho I live right across the street I will take my money elsewhere how do you hire blacks people and treat them like shit karma will come to u soon enough

Great staff. Quick and efficient getting in, was helped right away and given honest opinions on what strand to get. Reasonably priced as well and had no difficulty getting exactly what I came in for. Will be heading back!

I come here often it's right down the street from where I live. They always have decent weed if not fire . They are friendly and organized. I haven't had a problem with them since I can remember. I recommend hybrid indicas. Some bud tenders don't know what they are talking about but some do you just need to be aware yourself of your own experience. But overall they are awesome . Good prices too .
This is the worst dispensary I personally ever been too. Didn't give me the first time patient deal I paid 75.00 for the 4 preroll and a editable then was kindly reminded of the tip jar. In the mean time the bud tender was a absolutely rude AF

The blonde lady in the front was very rude and short with me. There was an issue with my i.d. and it seemed like I would have to use my passport. I didn't want to go back home and carry my passport around, so I was trying to see if there was any other type of identification I can provide and asked her if it helped if I was in the system. She told me that it didn't and was vague and told me that it has to be state issued i.d. I asked her what does that mean and she mentioned something like a military i.d. (which I was told at another location that the military i.d. wouldn't work anyways). I wanted to know was there anything else I can show. She started to raise her voice and I can sense the hostility. I called her out about not having to raise her voice and that was when she yelled out "security!!" in front of other people. That scenario made me feel like I was one of those unruly people on the show 'Hardcore pawn'. The security was very understanding and stmpathetic about my situation. I really appreciate them treating me nicely and with respect during an unfortunate and embarrassing situation. She was most likely right about the i.d. situation and I understand that part, but as one of the first people a customer sees at a business, the way she handled it was very poor. If I can sense the hostility in the front, it makes me wonder how it'll be like once I go inside.
Employees are oblivious and disrespectful.Wal-mart of weed. Ignored to what i say. I dont even ask a million questions . i know what I like and the employees seem to want to be anywhere else. They often get distracted after giving my order and come back ask what can i get you... I already told you.??? It feels like they want to stress you out so you have to immediately smoke because of how incompetent they were.
Impressive setup and well oiled operation with reasonable prices and great selections and good advice for tourists. We went with our local friends who showed it is like a fine wines store. Cannot wait for national legalization but for now I must.
Essence Trop is hands down my favorite dispensary to come and pick up product from. We've been coming here for a good minute and really appreciate how everyone treats us. Love that you folks are also stocked with quality products!
This dispensary is very clean and well organized. It was walking distance from the hotel so we decided to go and we weren't disappointed. We were helped by Kris and Jared. They were extremely nice and very knowledgeable. When we got there they immediately let us know about the deals they had going on. They explained the different strands and effects and helped us choose. I will 100% go back in the future. Thank you Kris and Jared.
I always get the best treatment and help locating what might be new that I haven't tried but will be along the lines of what helps me the most. Today Adam was incredible helping me decide on new Airopro strains! Check out Essence, they never steer you wrong and I've been going there since before recreational was legal!
So i just went and they didn't want to take my ID for whatever reason the lady said, this was my favorite place, not anymore im changing to THE SOURCE where they don't make an absurd excuse. Avoid it at all cost lady on the front desk is rude
I've been here quite a few times now. I normally go here when I just need something quick or when I'm just getting off work (11pm). It's on the way and they are open till 1am. Also if you're a local, ask for their 10% off and show them your I.D but you have to ask, they won't just offer it.I was here the first few days when they opened for recreational, it was hectic which was expected. So I decided to wait and give it a few more tries. It's a nice clean set up. You go in and they greet you right away. It's always a pleasure to see them at the front desk with a smile. The service once you get inside is a different story though. Don't get me wrong, it's not that bad. For the most part they do pretty well. There is just one gentleman who has been my "budtender" about 3-4 times now. Unfortunately I didn't get his name last night, but he seems to be in a rush and never once have I seen him smile. My friend and I got off work at 11pm and we decided to stop by and get a pre-roll. To my luck we ended up with the same guy. We asked for a certain pre-roll that they had on their screen, but they were out. In that case maybe it should have been removed from the menu, it would have saved some time but that's just my opinion.. So here we are trying to figure out what else we would want and he's just standing there staring at us. Maybe it's just me but from what I've experienced at other dispensaries, the "budtender" should be able to recommend something similar to what we were looking for. Maybe make a couple of suggestions, or ask us of why we wanted that specifically. So then he starts calling out the names (like that means something to me) of what he does have. This is not my first rodeo, so you yelling out the names at me helps me in absolutely no way. How about you tell me the strain, the thc level, the effects it has, or maybe even the taste! You're supposed to be an "experienced budtender" right? So we make a choice and head over to pay. I ask him if they still have the 10% off for locals. He sits there doesn't say anything, still staring at the computer he says "first give me your I.D" so I do, still without saying a word he hands it back to me and gives me my total. He never answered my question and he just assumed I'd know by giving me my total?. So he hands us the bag and we start walking out, as I reach into the bag to check, I realize that he didn't even give me a receipt. I'll go here once in a while but this place is definitely the last choice on the list. The product for the most part is ok but the bigger reason of why I don't come here often is because its more expensive than the others (with great service) I go to. Definitely better choices out there!
Great customer service! Great prices! My go to stop when out of town guest visit. Outside looks like a plain building but when you walk in it's super clean and bright!
I am a very dissatisfied customer. What isn't clear to this company is perception is everything. When your website says one thing, your inventory shouldn't say another. It has been 3 times now that I've driven across town just to be told what I wanted isn't in stock. That was the last straw. I will not be returning to any of your locations as the Las Vegas strip doesn't protect its customers properly and your Henderson location also has many issues with the website. There are far too many competitors out here to continuously sell the same story of oh our corporate office is in charge of the website. Time is valuable and something you cannot get back. You all have said sorry one too many times, and I won't be forced to spend my hard earned money on a place that can't refresh their systems and be honest with customers. I've let it go far too many times and my buck stops here. I would encourage anyone reading this to go with a trusted dispensary that says what they mean and mean what they say. Essence is not that dispensary, at least not for me.After a much appreciated conversation, Essence is more than alright with me. They wouldn't let me in without my email. I asked for a pricing list first and was told by the "see you next Tuesday" at the door that I couldn't see it until I give up an email. I left. I desperately wanted this to be a good place because I live right next door. I got pricing finally and it's horrible. So expensive. Go to Blum 3 minutes away.
I never thought that I would say this about a dispensary but this place was so efficient!! I had the best and most easy experience and will definitely come back and be a customer again. The place is ducked off and if the door wasn't lime green on the corner of a street I would have missed it. We walked in and they separate lines by medical and recreational. You go up to a stand they check your ID and depending on if your purchasing or just coming in with a friend, they take your information and create a file for you in the computer. Number, address etc. Then you go through another door where there is a line that leads you to the coutners where there were three sales people ready and waiting to help you out. We had a woman with platinum blonde hair and she was so helpful and quick too. We asked her her suggestion and she pointed us in the right direction of a hybrid called Cactus OG I believe. She explained that it was a nice deep body high and a slight head high. She said it was her favorite out of all of them. (premium and top shelf). 15/g wasn't horrible (of course you can do better with your local dealer especially because they don't add a 25% tax) but it was all for the experience. She packaged it up put it in the cutest container, rang us up for 2g +tax and we were out the exit door (which led us back to the street.) On the outside it looks super sketchy but on the inside it's clean, professional, with awesome customer service!
I am extremely impressed with the customer service received today. I came in today after work to buy a cartridge and when I got home realized there was a small crack on the glass. I drove right back and spoke to Frank. He apologized and took care of me right away. I honestly thought nothing could be done and I would just have to buy a new one but Frank was gracious enough to easily and quickly replace it for another item. I am so wowed by how awesome the issue was handled. The service is always great but today really took it over the top. Big thanks to Frank and the entire team.
The sales associate was helpful and professional. There are all sorts of products to choose from, with and without THC, from smokable, edible and topical use such as pain cream or lip balm. The setting is very clean and organized. You check in at a window, produce your i.d., then enter and get in line for consultation/selection of products. Credit cards not accepted so be sure and have enough cash on you. Full variety/diversity of customers from ages 21 to 80+, just like standing in line at Walgreens to pick up your meds.
Third time they screwed up my online order. The last 2 times was ok because they had the product I wanted in. But this time I ordered online at 6 in the morning just so I could get what I have been waiting for and of course they messed it up and did not have what I wanted. If you can't trust the online ordering what's the point in having it ? Or maybe it's the people reading it wrong. I don't think I'll be going back, there are so many others to try out there.
This is the first dispensary I've been to, so I don't have anything to really compare it to. That being said, I had a pleasant experience.This dispensary itself is very clean and clinical, it kind of feels like being in a hospital on account of the white walls and floors. However, the staff is really warm, friendly, and knowledgeable.After you show your ID, you are allowed into the room. I thought perhaps one browses around when at a dispensary, but found that wasn't the case. You get into a line. There's a separate line for medical and recreational purchases. The line for recreational purchases was a lot longer, but moved pretty quickly. While you're in line, you can look at the menu and you can also see various items in the glass display shelves. Vincent was our assistant and he was incredibly awesome. He was very knowledgeable and his recommendations were great.
Absolutely love the people that work here, energy always at 100%. This is a place where everyone knows your name I definitely bring everyone to the dispensary in particular and I love how everyone's knowledgeable about the products they sell.

The product quality here is 5 stars.I understand that you get busy, but whoever designs your software/process needs to make some changes. It seems really frustrating & timeconsuming & inefficient for the workers. I understand why I was accidentally disconnected on the phone, and why I was on hold over 25min....it is not their fault, and they are courteous, but come on.The menu online is never valid in-person. Is it so hard to pay somebody to input the data or synch it up with your workers cashier/inventory system? It doesn't seem to matter the time of day, either.I always read the menu online & have a list ready of like 8 choices, but it's never worth the effort as I always end up with what they have instead (and it usually isn't even on the menu online). It's so timeconsuming on the phone & also is the same way inperson, as they check every strain, never have it, have to make suggestions...it makes sense why I was on hold for so long if you have to do this with each customer. Poor workers! I almost feel bad even asking- do you have this, that...there has to be a quicker system.It is the same way at the Strip location.As the 3rd hour since my delivery request rolls on (I was told they stop taking orders at 2pm), I dunno if I will go back again. It's a giant pain for what I feel should be pretty simple.
Extremely hot in the uncomfortable, loud waiting room. Nice front desk check-in staff, but they were all confused on what the rules were, and disagreeing with each other, and some third (not present) supervisor. Unprofessional.Bud room was nicely air conditioned, but very crowded and VERY LOUD. **NURSE REVIEW**SO grateful to this dispensary for providing a Cannabis R.N. for consultations!!!!!!! Denicka, the nurse, is the ONLY reason we will ever return to this location, because she was wonderful!!! We give her more stars than offered here. Denicka is knowledgeable, calm, friendly, sweet, helpful, and well worth a drive across town in rush hour traffic, followed by an hour wait in that loud, sweltering waiting room. If you have any Cannabis related questions, Denicka is at both the West Tropicana Essence location as well as the Henderson Essence location weekly. Definitely worth the time if you need questions answered.
I highly recommend Essence on Tropicana. Very helpful and knowledgable staff. Everyone including the security guard out front, the counter girls, and my budtender Nick were warm and welcoming. The interior is clean and organized. A loud "welcome to Essence" is nice to hear as you walk into the showroom. Wide selection of flowers and edibles, which I like. No pressure to buy, no shady upselling. I will definitely visit Essence next time I'm in Vegas.
Came in to the store on a Friday night around 8pm-so it was pretty busy. That being said the line moved pretty quick, and although the employees were rushing around, when I talked to (Johnathon) I had his full attention. Didn't feel rushed at all. That's solid customer service. This guy needs a promotion.
This was my first dispensary experience, it was everything I expected and more! The staff was knowledgeable and very professional. They took their time with me and gave me exactly what I needed. I will definitely come back for all of my Cannabis needs.

Alex way very helpful and helped me choose the best strain for me. I took hells OG. Really good. If you didn't check this place out already I highly recommend you do that. This place is great for it's quality.... that's if they ever have what you want in stock. Since It became recreational it's been harder to actually get what you're looking for. Medical patients beware! You'll end having to go all the way to Henderson to get what you need. I had to call to make sure they actually had what I wanted.They need to make their website a little bit more mobile friendly! I can't navigate through it at all. my only real complaint is that they charged me $8 to use their ATM when they originally said it would only be $5... seriously not a big deal it was just off putting.. don't ever forget your cash!
Not gonna complain about legal weed too much. The selection was decent (although not as good as in LA), the prices were about normal and the place was nicely laid out. Usually tax is included in the prices, but here (Clark County thing?), you have to pay sales tax and then the recreational weed tax, which was like an extra 25 bucks. I did not even notice it until I returned to the hotel room. So, if you think you bought just the right amount of cash, think again. Still, worth it obviously.
Wow, all these "amazing service" reviews and I'm over here like wtf.. might have caught them on a bad day.. or two.Only reason for 3 stars is because the products and prices are good and the Henderson location is perfection.. otherwise 1 star based on service.My first and only store front visit was a joke, checked in, check in staff was (with lack of better words..) ghetto and unprofessional. I sat in the waiting room for no exaggeration 25 minutes before going into the back, during this time I was floored with how they conduct business. One girl clocked out, came to the front, and was talking/ yelling thru the waiting area about how she is about to buy her weed and talking between the girl behind the window and another patient (clearly a regular who was not shy about hitting on the girls).. my complaint here is We Are Patients not just coming here to get stoned, this is our medicine. I suggest the staff act that way as well and not be upfront yelling about how they are about to buy some "bomb weed". When I got to the back the bud tender didn't know anything, I knew more than him and i don't know much at all. I asked for "hulk smash" and he kept repeating it and saying "like the hulk?" Like yes man, the damn hulk, hulk smash, how do you not know what strains you have in?! Deliver experience was nonexistent because when I called they were no longer taking orders for the day because they were short staffed.. at 4:00 on a Saturday you cannot do deliveries because you are short staffed?! What a joke. The girl i spoke to on the phone "star" was terribly rude. When I called back star answered again and I asked if I could speak with a manager she was again very very rude and clearly did not want me speaking with her manager, mhm wonder why. I'll go ahead and stick to the Henderson location.
This place is very well put together and everyone is friendly. Even when he just asked me to not be in my phone to write this review.

Would have loved to try the place. Unfortunately their security guard came over to me and decided that right before me was the end of the line to get in before they close. Understand this clearly, I was last in line and the security guard came over and told me that I had to go. Not the hundred people waiting before me, just me. You're off to a wonderful start with legalized recreational. What a jerk and I won't bother trying tomorrow. I wasted hours at your establishment. I will be supporting one of the other dispensaries that are also much cheaper.
Near my home. Very nice inside. I love there edibles and they have a wide selection of juices for vaping. The employees are very helpful in finding exactly what your looking for. Def one of my favorite dispensaries out here in Vegas.
I haven't gone to any other dispensaries so I don't have anything to compare Essence to, but I come here pretty frequently. I've never had a bad experience. Yes, there have been times that it took a little long but it was never anything that the staff here could control. Everyone in the building I've encountered has always been super nice. They have a lot of products and they usually have a good inventory of their stuff. I also like that you can accumulate points to receive free products that they offer. It seems like the point system is high at first but they add up pretty quickly. The only thing I dont like about this location is the parking set up. There are not enough spaces for how busy they get. Other than that, five stars all the way around!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, I never had to wait more than a few minutes to get in, and I find their prices to be a little more reasonable than some of their competitors. Plus they're open late and have a loyalty rewards program... and they're near my house. They're my go-to spot, for now.
Came in Christmas day for the friends and family 25% off sale. My budtender had no clue it was going on. Got the discount but seriously? How many got stiffed because they assumed it was taken off but their budtender was oblivious? These dispensaries need to step up their game with all the new licenses that were issued. This kind of stuff isnt going to fly with more choices available.

Been shopping here awhile b/c it's nearby a friends, they do have a lot great selections and prices but I notice when you get your product it is all months old. There isn't a benefit to shopping here like by so much get pre-roll, or other places you get points. Here they just let you know how close you are to not being able to buy more. LOLWell done with them, moving on to better.
They advertise a 25 dollar 1/8th yet the almost never have it. This is a shady tactic to get you in the door because maybe one time you'll actually get the 25 dollar 1/8th but 9 out of the next ten times you go, the cheapest 1/8 is like 49 which is more then I paid before marijuana was legal. Countless times they have done that to me. No more. Don't fall for this. There are plenty of other dispensaries that have integrity in their pricing structure

Just recently visited this location on Tropicana today. It's much more bigger than the one on Las Vegas Blvd. I have yet to be disappointed in all of the great variety of strains that Essence provides. I've been to both locations and the customer service is more than excellent.
Great dispensary! They have frequent deals and are always very friendly. They were able to give me a lot of information about the products and answered all of the questions that I asked. It's not usually too busy when I go either.
Top quality dispensary. The customer service and knowledge of their staff is phenomenal. Always have the best suggestions and they alwayd look forward to adsisting you. I highly recommend this dispensary if you are visiting Vegas or you're a resident.
This place continues to be my favorite dispensary in town.The staff is normally very friendly, knowledgeable about the products and able to explain things to kind of a new regular consumer. I also find that the menu at least as far as flower is concerned is fairly extensive compared to other places and the prices are better than several other dispensaries. Like some other dispensaries, there is a local discount which is awesome and there is a points system where the points convert to dollars. This is pretty nice if you are a repeat customer. One negative here compared to other places is that you cannot smell the flower or get a good look of the flower until after purchasing.
I truly can't say enough good things about Essence. This is the 4th dispensary I went to and will now be my only shop. I've dealt with Michelle and David so far, and they were both friendly, upbeat and positive. But where they scored with me was the amount of help I was given, especially David. We spent a while talking about my specific needs and this information is invaluable. He was going between two computer screens showing me exactly the breakdown of what I've been smoking, and why it works for me. I appreciate all the time and help you gave me, David. I've had my card now for a couple of months and it's been kind of hit-and-miss concerning what strains work best for me and the pain I'm trying to target. I've been a smoker for many years and I see I have much to learn.I found two particular strains that work the best for me, and I think I've got it dialed in. I realize that even after forty three years of thinking I know something about reefer, it turns out all I knew was how to buy it, how to load a bowl, and find my lighter. My life was changed irrevocably by bad surgery in 2009 and has left me in a lot of pain that may never get better. There's a hopelessness with something as devastating as realizing the person you put unconditional trust in let you down in ways that can never be corrected. The buds from essence are fresh and sticky and powerful, as opposed to the condition of something bought from another shop. Their reefer was dry as a bone - I mean dust dry, coming out of a sealed container. I know that really doesn't affect potency, but was it does do is send up a red flag that maybe it was either very old, or wasn't handled properly to begin with. This isn't your grandfather's weed any more, and I'm going to spend my hard earned good money in a shop where it's worth it. Essence will be my only dispensary from now on. Thank you so much for the help.

This was my first time coming back here since July 1st last year. I wasn't disappointed at all I don't smoke much but this will be my go to forsure the staff all around is awesome and friendly Sonja helped me personally she's so patient and answered all my questions and didn't rush me once. There selection is beyond great there set up is straight forward and easy to read. Once again thank you and I'll surely return there's so much I wanna learn.
My absolute favorite place to get medicine in Vegas. They are all nice people... very helpful and knowledgeable of all the products there. I'm a fan of Cannibiotics and they usually always have it. We had an appointment with a registered nurse Denicka this past Thursday. My grandmother who is battling stage four lung cancer that has spread to most parts of her body was with me during this appointment as it was for her. The RN was so extremely helpful and knowledgeable in products that can help alleviate symptoms and possibly aid in fighting the cancer. Denicka had overcome her own battle with breast cancer and shared some of her own regimes in regards to cannabis that helped through her battle. My grandmother was able to get a 30% care discount on the products because of her medical condition. This dispensary had a very diverse inventory of cannabis products. From the time that we entered for our check in until our exit, all staff we encountered were so kind and friendly. We will definitely continue to purchase from this dispensary!!
Happiest place on EARTH! Right when you walk in the door the vibe is chill and relaxed and everyone is happy. That's enough to change your mood right there. I have always had excellent and speedy service by a SUPER knowledgeable staff and they STACK discounts. Local? Veteran? Senior? That's 30% off. Why would anyone go anywhere else? First time shopper and likely the last. The girl in the front was super nice and seemed like a great selection however your employee Paul is beyond rude, condescending and honestly just seemed to be annoyed to even be there. Refused to allow us to look and insisted we go stand in the non existent "line" all while he followed us over and then immediately called us to the counter (lol like what is that). Felt very rushed and as I mentioned when he was "helping" his service was awful and just flat out rude. My friend wound up buying 1 thing, was planning on getting more but since he didn't want to show anything or provide any info she didn't. I refused to purchase anything from dealing with him as he spoke down to me and showed no interest in assisting me. I would recommend going anywhere but here. Anytime I have gone to a dispensary the employees are always happy to answer any questions and seem to genuinely enjoy their job. If you do go here avoid the guy with half shaved head and ponytail combo haircut!

I come here literally almost every day for the 9$ pre-rolls. They're always good, and the staff is always extremely pleasant. Feels very much like the "Cheers" of weed for me. The pre-roll menu tends to change in strain and pricing very frequently, and not for the better usually, which would be my only complaint. That's up to the cultivators and not the dispensary really though. Anyway, I've been unable to ascertain the reason for this up until tonight when I went in and there was a young man by the name of Lucas who helped me out. This young man was not only extremely polite and knowledgeable, he was also extremely intelligent, knew how to find what I was really looking for, and literally answered every question I had without hesitation over the course of our thirty-minute conversation. I could have picked his brain about cannabis for hours, no exaggeration. The place gets a five star review on its own merit, and the merit of its employees, but Lucas going above and beyond tonight is truly worthy a five star rating in and of its self.

My first time here and I'm impressed. The reception area almost feels like high end hotel lobby. Receptionists are warm and friendly. I was called in a matter of minutes. David called me in and greeted me. He was very knowledgeable in all the products they sold. Customer service is top notched. The prices are also reasonable. I was ready to check out and purchase. This is where the 1 star drops off due to the fact they only take cash and advised me to use the atm machine they have there. The atm machine charges $3 service fee. I felt it was a bit inconvenient for not having a point of sale terminal. Almost every business accepts credit/debit card. There should be no excuse for a business like this not to have one. Once they do accept debit cards, I'll update my review to 5 stars.

Didn't know what to expect from an "OTC" dispensary but I was made to feel very comfortable with my requests and her suggestions. I was recommended certain strains of medicine to help with my ailments that I may not have gotten elsewhere. If ever in the area again I definitely will be visiting again. Great great great experience here. It was my second dispensary visit here in Las Vegas and I can definitely say it's gonna be my go to place from now on. I was helped out by Mary had a good convo with her she is from Georgia like me so it's good to meet someone familiar. The menu is easy to read and shows the percentage too. High quality, very professional, and top of the line quality products. They also sell all the papers and other accessories you could need!

This dispensary has become my go to spot. Essence carries two of my favorite strains L'Orange and Curious George #7. The budtenders are knowledgeable and can help you find exact what you want based on your needs or preferences. Essence carries a wide variety of cannabis products. The wait time at Essence has never been more than 2 minutes when I have visited. Would recommend!

My husband and I have been coming to essence everyday for the past two months. We know most of the staff pretty well and are always treated kindly by the front and back employees. We have sampled almost all of the products essence sells and really enjoy purchasing the kiefs and vcdc syringes. We are also big fans of their rewards system since we visit so frequently. Definitely repeating customers!!
I started going here on day one when sales were legal. I have been to several other places and this place is top notch! Always lots of friendly people who honestly want to help you with your experience and purchase. You don't feel rushed or like they are trying to sell you something and then "Next Customer". There might be long lines cause this place is popular, but it moves very quickly. They have everything you could want and a large supply so they don't usually run out. Also ask about the daily deals!Just put the directions in you map. You won't be disappointed!
I frequent both the Essence Cannabis Stores on the strip and the one near The Orleans. I've always found the flower to be very good quality and the employees are knowledgeable about the different strains. If you have a medical rec you can enter and exit via your own special line. That can certainly help if you're in a time crunch! Definitely one of the go to spots if you're looking for Cannabis in Las Vegas!
In from out of town so I had to stop by, a little pricey compared to other states but great selection and amazing, friendly staff members. I would come back again, even with the higher prices.

Long time essence medical customer. I just Had a horrible experience here my first time trying to purchase after legalization. All the bud was over priced to begin with and then they tried to charge me 15% on top of my price as "non-governmental fees". Another words, since we can't charge you tax like all the other recreational users well slap on this felonious fee to compensate.I also noticed for the first time they didn't have THC/CBD levels posted for each strain, when I asked why they didn't have that the employees response was "when you get weed on the streets your dealers don't have thc %" this guy pretty much said they've abandoned the clear weed break downs because of "Street rules" lmao I was done at that point. It's clear how much of their business model changed over night leaving the long time medical user high and dry. I hope they administration can remember it was loyal medical customer like me that made it possible for this franchise to take advantage of all the new recreation business...Any medical patients out there avoid this tourist trap like the plague...
My boyfriend went in and was extremely disappointed he was greeted by a Hispanic gentleman who did not introduce himself after he had decided on what bud he wanted, he pulled out his money and the gentleman said "what's up with this ?" Talking about the appearance of the dollar bills. My boyfriend explained that the singles he had gotten were a tip he had gotten at work and he then responded by saying " This is fucking bullshit." My boyfriend then said , "you can take it or I can go somewhere else." He then laughed and said "naw man whatever I'll take it"; as he rolled his eyes! How unprofessional!!!! We won't be going there again extremely disappointed in this experience. Lost our families business.
Don't know what went wrong with this place..... I guess the shitty location allows for shitty service. I have been a customer since day one and twice now I have come in and ignored. No tender cares , it's just lost its Customer service . You seem to employee anyone instead of someone . I will yelp every day about the shitty service here .
Walked in not knowing what to do or where to go. They were awesome. I told them my pains, and what I needed to do, and they pointed me in the right direction. No hard sells, or overselling. I loved it. Close to home as well. Next time, I have a little more time I plan on picking there brains. They were really great from front to back. Great prices as well. I'm hoping they have the same thing available when I go back in larger quantities.

Essence has the best prices in town and they were the only place that took my temporary card while I was waiting for the real one in the mail. All other dispensaries in town wouldn't take it. I'm so glad I came here. When you walk in, it's your standard dispensary that has a receptionist area and locked doors to the back. The front desk staff were okay, not the friendliest. Once I gave them my info I went to the back immediately. The staff in the back is completely different than in front. They are extremely friendly and super helpful. They gave me a quick tour of all the product and were great in answering all of my questions. They don't accept credit cards like most dispensaries but they have an ATM so don't worry! Their prices are fantastic here. A gram is around $12 which includes tax while other dispensaries in town charge up to $19 without tax included. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else anytime soon unless they can compete with their prices.

5 stars hell yes! I don't give to many of these out haha best bud I've had by far. But haven't been to that many places and the reason why is because this place has great tasting, smelling and fresh bud. On top of that you add the customer service and looking of the place, you have a winner!
Everyone working here is very nice and very knowledgeable about the products. If they don't know something, they will find out for you. The prices are pretty average. They do have good specials going on all the time! Like last month they ran a special which was $25 for an 1/8. This is one of my top three dispensaries!

I was lucky to find this shop While out running errands out of sheer luck and I'm glad that I did!! There is always a sufficient amount of Bud tenders, and this cuts wait time waaaaaay down to almost nothing. I got my medical marijuana card 2 years ago and it expired but the prices are so good here and the deals are better than any of the former Dispensaries is that I have been a repeat customer to. The budtenders are all very pleasent to deal with and I have to thank ***Shane*** for beeing the first budtender to help me at the dispensary west. The quality is good, and the same strains and edibles (in particular) are 5-10 dollars cheaper. Cani juice is 24 w tax here and 30 without tax at essence chebachews are even about 7 dollars less at the dispensary west than essence or the grove... but customer service and daily deals sometimes seem TO GOOD to be true, but believe it. The deals are updated daily and i have them sent to my phone. Today a 55 dollar 1/8th is on sale for 55 dollars for a QUARTER AND B.O.G.O. HALF OFF DIXIE BARS AND 100 DOLLARS LETS YOU SPIN THE WHEEL TODAY!! I See all of the prizes and the cheapest one has a value of 15 to $17 last time I want a $25 gift card

MY LIFE HAS FOREVER CHANED!!! CHRISTIAN was like angel sent from WEED HEAVEN yesterday when I desperately needed it!! Normally if I go to a dispensary the budtenders are kinda helpful, but I still always feel like they don't really get me and whatever weed I'm getting is a gamble. So I always now just stick to what I know I love which is why I'll always get White Walker when available, and I like the body high off the gummy pucks. I suffer from severe anxiety attacks and depression and it makes my emotions shoot so high and low I just need to be able to feel numb and comfortable. Certain strains of weed I've found help more with some things and some make things more heightened. After telling Christian why I smoke weed he made some amazing educated suggestions of would best fit my needs and what he thinks I would really enjoy. I felt totally confident in stepping out of my comfort zone based on his knowledge, and how well he actually understood what I was looking for and I'm super thrilled with the results!!! I still bought my White Walker, but I also got Carmel Waffle edibles in stead of my normal go to of gummy pucks. And let me tell you, these are SO BOMB . Then he suggested I atleast try a pre roll of a different strain called, Sweet Cherry Pie. He had an educated answer full of information on why that strain would give me the high I'm looking for to help alleviate my discomfort and ITS ALSO AMAZING!!! He was so smart to suggest the Cannahoney as well. I do like to drink tea sometimes to help calm me down so I'm really excited to try it tonight before bed. His kindness and and knowledge made me feel comfortable to try something new, and I couldn't be happier with his suggestions!!! CHRISTIAN WAS AMAZING!!! and I will always ask to see him for my future visits

Brittany at the front desk is always so nice! Everyone is actually really friendly, every time I come some faces I recognize and some are new. Regardless if new or familiar, everyone is super nice and the willingness to recommend and to get the medicine you need and want is unmatched. They always have everything I need, except for that one time I wanted blueberry. He location is right around the corner from my home so I absolutely love that, and it's always so clean. This is by far the best dispensary I have had the pleasure of visiting. Not only do they have a ton of choices but the staff is also knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. The representative named Drew definitely goes above and beyond to make sure any customers he helps are satisfied and any questions they have are answered. I will be telling all my friends that this is the dispensary to visit.

This was the first dispensary I went to & my main pick until recently. They have good weed, and prices are okay. Obviously not your local drug dealer, but it works. They had a pretty cool reward system I liked. You had to spend a lot to get anything, but we smoke a lot so no biggie haha I stopped liking this place because they change up too much. I went in one day & the lady helping me was really nice & told me I had enough points to get a pre rolled for a penny! I was already buying 3 so I didn't need it and asked it I can use it the next time I come in. She said of course! So next time I come in & I try to get my pre rolled for a penny they tell me I can't & they switched the rules & if you don't redeem your points then it goes into the next thing. They could have notified customers when their policy changes. I mean I get a text from them at least once a week advertising new items and deals they have going on, why not text me this? Anyways, didn't let it bother me too bad. What really did it for me was this wasn't their first or last time changing up and then not honoring it. I went in today because the other day when I stopped by another lady told me that if I leave a review then I can get a free or $1 pre rolled next time I came in. Of course I go in today & apparently it's only for medical. It's just annoying because Zen Leaf is literally across from where I live but I always preferred essence because of all the cool perks. But today was definitely my last time there.

I have been coming here for over a year on a weekly basis spending thousands of dollars. for the first time in ovee a year i complained that my last 1/8 was short. now bear in mind its 50 dollars for 3.5 grams and it was missing 20 % of what was supposed to be there. what did they do for this loyal customer who pays thousande of dollars. They told me there is NOTHING they can do for me. I strongly and urgently dissuade anyone from going there as I was appalled by the lack of help i received from the manager Cody. 0 stars
This was the first time I ever been to a dispensary, and I can say this was a nice experience. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about what they are selling. To be able to go buy without a medical card, I was happy. And made my vacation even more enjoyable. The only downsize of not having a medical card is they charge more. I bought an 8th and with taxes I paid $62 and some change. The place is very organized and have many options. It's a big green building. It's not hard to miss and they do have security there so I would say it's safe, and we went around 11pm. Happy 4/20!

Yes my favvv essence , although the other one is very good as well I love the fact that everyone is so knowledgeable. They have made a huge difference in the lines and helping clients get in and out quickly but efficiently. I love all the new strains and edibles that they have gorilla glue right now is my go to. I went to this dispensary and I was very disappointed. I bought 2 pre-rolled joints and one of them blew up in my face. I called to ask for a refund and they refused and they were rude. Go to a different dispensary.

My husband's first delivery from Essence was very hot. I have had compounded RX's delivered from a pharmacy, and they always include an ice pack. This is Las Vegas, it is HOT and heat degrades medication's. The day after, Brandy called to see if my husband was happy with his medicine. I shared our concern regarding the extreme heat of his order, and that it was for medical purpose's- he has an obviously large tumor on the side of his neck that is cancer. She "offered" to give him 20 % off on his " next order " . He placed his second order, which was the exact order that he had previously gotten , was quoted 183.00 , but when his order was delivered, he was charged 223.00 . He called Essence, but the person would not "honor" the price he was quoted when he placed his order hour's earlier. As a local gaming bartender, I am sure he will share his experience with his customer's. He spent over $600 in three week's at the place, and yet they did not honor they're "word" . In my book, that is called a lie . That's OK- plenty of other dispensaries that would appreciate his business .
BEWARE! THEY SELL YOU BROKEN CARTRIDGES AND WON'T TAKE THEM BACK OR EXCHANGE THEM! I bought a 500mg cartridge and tried to use it with a Source brand battery and it would not work. I first thought the battery was dead so I recharged it and tried it again even though it has always worked fine with many other cartridges I used before. Still the cartridge I bought at Essence did not work. These cartridges are supposed to work with any battery. So I go to the store to exchange the broken cartridge and they "take it to the back to test it" and come back saying they cant exchange it because it worked for them in the back with their store brand battery. So then they want me to spend another $30 to buy their battery when all cartridges are supposed to work with ANY BRAND battery - if they don't they are defective. Mind you, I never saw this cartridge working either. They took it to the back to test it. As far as I know it still didn't work and the manager made that up not to exchange it and to get me to buy their store brand battery.I will never come back to this place again. They sell broken cartridges and treat you badly when you want to exchange it for one that actually works. $55 + tax down the drain. BEWARE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE YOU CAN HAVE RETURN AND EXCHANGE GUARANTEED PRODUCTS!

Just picked up my 420FOR702 pocket guide and it showed me the map to your essence cannabis location on west Tropicana which is very close to me. This shop is super clean and has very friendly staff. The weed here is top notch and good prices! No more having to meet friends/dealers in the back streets getting weed that was hiding in there gas cap . Happy holidays and be safe America
They don't honor there coupons they offer, and the wait is long plenty better places to shop around. New patients are last to shop, which I feel is not very welcoming.
If you want to buy some marijuana do yourself a favor and call one of the numerous dispensaries that deliver here in Las Vegas and avoid this place. The employees are rude , when you arrive you would think you are trying to buy micro dot acid in New Jack City. Give me a break they got a security guard there always trying to walk around flexing YELLING at people to move the line. Its like hey asshole why don't you shut up and do a security check, seriously its annoying. I was ALLOWED in by the front desk to the buy room and when trying to buy a couple measly punk ass overprice garbage joints. I was informed that my Id was at most a few days expired. The girl acts like Its fkn code red level 5 situation or something. Asks security to escort me out as if I'm going to fight leaving that shit hole dispensary ,please you smoked up dirty looking hippie. Seriously a bunch of people trying to give medical advice with ZERO medical training parroting their crap trying to feel important. You work in a pot store its soo ridiculous As for the QUALITY GARBAGE. I have smoked weed for years, gone to this crap place over a dozen times and it is a crappy experience almost every time. This place will give you 25% THC level crap for a higher price moderate my ass. Call a dispensary and have them deliver 35% level bud at a better price. I have lived in Vegas for about a year and purchased marijuana many times and avoid this place if you are gonna buy marijuana with any type of regularity.
Great customer service, until you reach some of the bud tenders. Avoid going to Lucas if possible. I'm not sure if this guy is not a morning person or he's just mad at the world, but his customer service is horrible (every time) I won't be coming back to this location anymore due to a few staff members. I've also had other issues from this location that I won't go into detail about. The rest of the staff is great! It's just a handful of people that make your business look bad.
I'm a new recreational cannabis user, though I'm seeking more of a medicinal treatment. (I have chronic back pain, shoulder pain and stress and my husband has severe insomnia due to Army related PTSD) We've gone to Essence a few times and the customer service has always been stellar. Today was even better. I dealt with David, this amazing older dude with a 'Merica eyepatch who reminds me of my dad. I have tried a tincture based cannabis before, but wanted more info about vape cartidges and was seeking to try something new and stronger. I told David that I wanted something that both my husband and I could enjoy that would treat our ailments and help us sleep. He was informative, funny, and encouraged me to follow up with him on how it works (or doesn't work) and how we like it so we can fine-tune what works best for us. David is your go-to guy and I'm looking forward to following up with him. Though it can sometimes be daunting with the large crowds in the small space, I spent a total of maybe 10 minutes standing in line. I spent longer doing my consultation with David. When I asked if they pool tips after noticing the tip box, he said yes, but he couldnt do what he does without his fantastic team supporting him. Absolutely love this guy. I want to invite him over for BBQ!!
Essence was good 'before'! The quality was good and availability relatively consistent. In the last 6 months inventory has become spotty, the best strains in only grams or out of stock and their prices have ALWAYS been too high AND NOW WITH RECREATIONAL BEING LEGAL A 25% INCREASE IN PRICE IS DOWN RIGHT THIEVERY. BOYCOTT ESSENCE!!!!!
Went to the grand opening yesterday. All of the patient consultants were extremely nice and helpful. They had great products and the place was super clean and modern. I've done my shopping around town and this place by far beats everyone else's prices. Definitely going back. These guys really stepped it up.

Been coming by for years and this place has like always done the job right. Today, they went above & beyond IMO. I was welcomed in and explained to my budtender that my vape pen hadn't hit upon opening it yesterday. Tried to figure it out but wasn't able to sadly and I literally lost some sleep over it (it was supposed to be my sleepy indica pen), he grabbed the manager and very kindly we talked the situation over and I was able to get my pen replaced with ease and 0 fuss. I did bring my receipt and original packaging but I think a nice attitude helps too haha Thank you folks for looking out and may business always bloom!

Overpriced vs other dispensaries for the same flower. Also, I asked for a Sativa from a specific grower brand & the budtender gave me a hybrid after checking the growers website for info. *I actually already knew it was a hybrid, but he claimed it was that growers only flower they had in stock. In addition, I asked another simple question & he was clueless. He also recommended some nasty cheap flower from other brands, yea no thanks -- especially when your a noob. Also, I asked to pick out my jar, he "cleared his throat" which is subconscious body language of being annoyed (some jars have extra stems). My gripe about "budtenders" in LV, they don't know anything compared to CO, CA, WA states, they just think "flower" is "flower". However, I don't blame their lack of knowledge, since so many ppl buy pre-rolls which basically means the consumer market in LV are idiots. I personally do not like pre-rolls because of the obvious, you can't see what your getting & I guarantee all pre-rolls are "kiefed". But most of you don't even know what that means, so "to each a own".

THEY DONT DO LOCAL DISCOUNTS ANYMORE AS OF TODAY .....ARE U SERIOUS!!!!! this is not good common we are the reason you stay in bussines not the tourist! always the same bs at this location! one server for pick up and no cars i always have to wait for like 30 mins then the servers are super rude and unprofessional unlike other locations! i came to get my meds thru pick up and Jamie my server who looks like she hasnt took a shower in weeks which is nasty and was super rude !!! she told me she cant accept my ID that i had an issue with my ID date and she will call the manager , Sabrina the manager told me she cant accept it , i told her but expired 5 days ago! Im like what the heck they didnt want to accept it i even had an email and proof of renewal its covid and its super rude of them to do this to me i need my meds and ID renewals have extensions! Sabrina said that with covid extensions being over they cant accept it!Sabrina made my husband go inside and redo the order under his name.., this was unfair because he shouldnt have to go inside and risk his health because shes lazy and cant do her job and switch the order over to him while were outside ..... and shes the manager !!!! this is covid and she obviously doesnt take it serious!!! also we are on our work break like i mentioned to her and she didnt care one bit! just zero on customer service here! She could have helped me and she didnt! Im a regular and i spend hundreds at all essance locations monthly.... and thousands a year!!! Also not to mention this location gets shut down alot because staff gets sick so that goes to show u this location isnt good all around!! the only reason i come here is because they have what i need and other locations sell out quick! super unsafe and nasty! they use to be my favorite spot to go to but now with new staff and management, i just come because they have what i need not because i want to :-(
Came here today for the first time in a LONG time. I was reminded why I don't come here anymore. I literally rather drive the exxxtra distance to Planet 13-a tourist attraction-- that treats locals better than Essence on Tropicana (which caters to locals, GO FIGURE!)i havent been here in so long, however, when i called i was informed i had $12 in reward points that i forgot about on my account!I ordered online. Decided I wanted to add to my order so I was told to go inside upon picking up. (WHY? IF I WANT TO GIVE YOU MORE MONEY YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ME FROM THE COMFORTABILITY OF MY CAR. THE WHOLE POINT OF ONLINE ORDERING IS TO STAY IN MY CAR) Whatever. Got out, went in. I love the receptionist who is blonde, a little bit older, and wears pretty makeup. She's worked there for a long time and I appreciate how warm and inviting her personality is. Anyway, that image was immediately shattered by my interaction with my budtender. Apparently there was a mixup with my order and instead of owning up and honoring their mistake, my order was switched out for something different. Manager in a Batman belt was called over. He blamed everything on the government (because they "force" them to use barcodes) and how this system of keeping track of products isn't the best. UM HOW IS THAT MY FAULT? someone threw in a 1/8 by the same grower, same strand but a different batch #however BOTH 1/8ths were ringing up as $45!!!! they decided to give me the one with the lower THC/terp profile. The budtender tried to make it seem like i was the one who ordered the wrong product from their website to the manager. UM NO! YOUR WEBSITE SAYS YOU WILL APPLY THE MOTHERS DAY DISCOUNT AT THE REGISTER UPON CHECKOUT. with either 1/8, i would have paid $25+taxUGH NEVER RETURNING!!!!!! THIS LOCATION ALWAYS HAS DRAMA AND BAD ENERGY. Just GHETTO! YOU CAN TELL THE EMPLOYEES ARE TERRIFIED OF MANAGEMENT. Essence was one of the first cannabis players in Nevada, at a time when only medical dispensaries were allowed. Because of, um, various ***cough cough*** ailments, I was able to score a card back then and Essence was definitely part of my rotation. Just kidding, I had a legit medical reason...and not only does that earn a 10% tax break on each purchase, but Essence gives me another 10% off as well, just for being born during the black and white tv era.I won't pretend their prices and products are any or much different than the next place, but I will salute Essence for always having RSO oil on hand. RSO is a thick, concentrated oil derived from the entire plant - flower, leaf, stem, terpenes - to create what's called the 'entourage effect' or full spectrum benefit. What this means is you have everything from the plant working for you in a symbiotic way for maximum benefit, especially when you get the 1:1 ratio of CBD and THC. The medical community won't acknowledge it, at least not yet, but RSO has been proven effective in fighting off cancer cells. I would take a tiny bit, the size of a grain of rice, sublingually at night before bed and hold it under your tongue for a few minutes. That way, it goes directly into the bloodstream instead of being processed though your liver. It's actually too strong for me to use during the day and I wouldn't recommend driving on it. But RSO does allow you to fall into a deep sleep and it certainly has anti-carcinogenic qualities (not saying it's the cure, but it might help prevent or minimize cancer growth). Keep in mind though, that most RSO makers advise you to speak to your doctor first before using. Went in tonight Menu is shut off and the individual didn't know what products they had available Multiple stores and seems the customer service lacks at all 3You would think with multi million dollar business can keep menu up and if not pay for qualified employees
Essence has a really nice and open layout and easy to read board. The bud tenders were helpful and we got exactly what we came for. They do honor military discounts too which kind of cancels out the taxes. Thanks Essence! I will come back.
“Smell Proof” gear bag, looks fancy but does not do the trick. Being told via telephone call, about how to deal with the return in person and that I would get a full refund. They should’ve mentioned, store credit only. That’s great and all but a waste of gas and was expecting my cash back. Due to “store policy”, even apparently from regional managers say so, kind of a joke, when they improperly labeled gear. Even had the in store manager let me see the other “smell proof” bag( that they kindly offered to trade out”, just in case the one I had returned was the only defective case, needless to say, they both where fancy misleading bags. Thanks for the store credit and extra discount I guess that’s better but I would have still rather have my cash return as a genuine convenience.

Essence has a very good selection & the best "Herbogolic's" in town!. But has anyone had problems with the new Church .95 gram cartridges working? They don't seem to draw a hit there's smoke but nothing else. We tried returning it but were told as long as there's smoke it's working.
You get more bud for buck here, I've tried other places but Essence is my favorite. Best prices, quality product, great employee's. Wish they had a store on the NW side of town;)
