Small, unassuming place, their bud tenders are awesome and really know their stuff.  I have a plethora of issues that demand a slightly different combination from day to day, and those guys have NEVER stirred me wrong.  But I really hope they're going to restock their Indica and Indica dominant hybrid dabs soon, lol.  However when supplies are short, they always seem to be able to recommend something comparable to my favorites.Currently this is the only dispensary I go to, decently stocked, awesome staff, easy transactions.

They seem to cater to the recreational consumer. As a medical patient I require a higher dose and I watch this menu because I'd like to spend money here. Wish they'd have 100mg thc capsules (oil based abx) and 100mg thc beverages (Dixie sweet tea, fruit Cannaquenchers).C'mon folks, support the medical patients needs too.

Had a very great experience thanks to guys behind the counter... They knew exactly what they were talkin about!!!Theres 2 spots and the spot I got to was closed which I did not know. So I tried Lux in the next parking lot behind Medimart. Really cool experience plus they give military discounts. Definitely will be a returning for cartridges.

One of there staff members are rude twice already. not going back after going there 6 years+ as when they were on the alameda and there partners on autumn. there are lots of other places to go. don't need this. thanks for many good years till now good luck.

LUX is the best dispensary! They have the nicest staff, all super helpful, funny & kind. They have great flower & edible selection with all price range options. I definitely recommend giving them a try!

Late review, but I came here a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. The staff is so helpful and they have so many perks when you become a member.I would recommend this place to anyone!

Pretty disappointed that I have to find a new dispensary but I'm not going to shop somewhere where they don't prioritize customer service. I understand a refund won't always be offered, but It was my first time attempting to purchase stiiizy pods and I called ahead to ask if they sold them(specified not the disposable ones) and was told they had them in stock. Went in and said yet again to the worker who rung me up what I needed and that I didn't want the disposable one. Helped me pick my preferred strain and than I left, only to realize in my car it was the wrong thing. The manager wouldn't take it back and told me they don't even carry the pods, the only thing he offered was store credit but seeing as I now know that they don't carry them I didn't want that, he continued to tell me it was the same thing. Now Although I've never purchased a pod I know that it wouldn't be as expensive for just the pod cause you are paying for the disposable battery. I am not a wealthy person and I even told him that was like the last of my spending money. Uninformed workers and bad management. Don't waste your money.

The staff is super informed and really great. I love the products and the pricing. Definitely my go to in San Jose.

I LOVE this dispensary. Every single person who works there is friendly and knowledgeable. Lux always has deals going, like their $15 eighths. They have a great selection of prerolls and consentrates. They even have Vet CBD oil for dogs and cats. All the budtenders are always happy to give their personalmreviews on the different strains and are honest about their opinions of different products. I always recommend this place to friends and coworkers. This is my regular weed stop, as it's right off the freeway and across the street from The Plant shopping center.

Really nice staff except the products are really bad.  The manager seems standoffish and cold, but that is from my interactions with him.It is a high risk if you go the vape route since some of these pens are either defective (OpenVape is known for this) or the CO2 cartridge is.Some of the prepackaged flowers are in very poor quality for the price. Their move deeper south has been the determining factor for me to no longer go to this club. I gave 2 stars because they have room for improvement especially on the product side.

Great place, owner is exceptionally nice. Tenders are patient, answering any and all questions i've asked. Waiting area is nice and private, ATM inside. make sure to sign up for texts, they have the best deals around! Go after the Sharks game to use their Buy1, Get1 discount! Prices are fair but become very affordable when you take them up on promos and deals. Also, don't forget to bring your loyalty card for even more savings!

I've been to three other clubs and this is by far the best! Good selections of edibles, waxes and flowers.  What really sets this place apart is the customer service. From the security posted outside, to the receptionist, to the bud tenders- all super friendly and engaging. You won't be disappointed.

This place was ok.  The guy that helped us didn't seem that knowledgeable.  Their inventory seemed lacking as well. Parking could be better.  Check in was quick.

This was my first visit and I really liked this place. Great selection, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was also very close to my house, I'll be back for sure.

I just went to this club the weed was weak there was horrible service and the gorilla outside was so rude I would never recommend going here ever unless you want to get jump by the ghetto homeless people from the terrible area it's in.

Worst dispensary I've ever been to. Everything I asked for they said they were out. I asked what else I can get being that I had a medical card and she said "nothing". My buddy asked the other guy the same question and got a list of stuff! Not very knowledgeable on product and customer service SUCKS!

I've been to purple lotus too. They're nice and have a friendly staff.But LUX is where I go to, even though I live closer to purple lotus becuz I get more bang for my buck at LUX.Existentially, the wait time and lines are shorter here than most other places. Obviously, non-monetary savings are a nice bonus.And of course, every single staff member at LUX is super friendly and ultra helpful!

I have been to a few clubs and LUX is the best!When I first got my card, I was referred to LUX.. I was nervous and had no clue i was doing but they were very helpful and made me feel comfortable. At the counter every employee is very friendly, laid back and professional! It is very clean. I also love how they have the flowers laid out so you can see them. Cool vibe! LUX is the best.

Best staff!!!  They are so friendly.  They make you feel like family... The nice ones. The flower is top notch. Pricing--many levels to choose from.  They have my business and support.  And I am a picky lady.

The first time I came here a short blonde chick helped me, she was super friendly and helpful. But I went recently on the 18th of December and they had three guys working. I got the an older gentlemen must've been in his 50s. I thought cool he must have a lot of knowledge. Boy was I disappointed. First I asked him about flowers. I told him I only wanted to spend $50 on flowers for a good 8th. He pulled out an 8th of something that was 22$. I asked if there was anything at all else I could get for 50 since 22 was too low quality imo. I smelled it didn't even smell like weed. I tried hard to see if it was covered in thc. It was covered in what looked like dust.  I was like ok since you don't have anything else I'll take that. Then I asked about edibles and he just stared at me blankly. Like if I was asking for so much. I eventually just walked to the side and locate the edibles by my god damn self. I looked through the edibles and asked him how many dozes was in a sin mint cookie. He didn't know which didn't surprise me at all at that point. I got that and another cookie. Even though he didn't tell me how many dozes was in it which is very important if you don't wanna eat too much of it and end up comatose for 3 hours. Then I asked him about concentrates. He pulled out shatter that was 5$ and 10$ per gram. I didn't have to be a genius to know that it was really bad quality that looked like it was made in someone's uncles garage. I asked him if they had any more selection. He said :"oh too low quality for you basically?" I didn't give him attitude back because by that point I was just wishing I had gotten the bud tender next to us who the whole time was being patient and very helpful to his customer showing him things my bud tender swore they didn't have in stock anymore. I was distraught because I knew they had more quality stuff just from over hearing them next to us. All he said was "yeah that's all we have sorry it's our last day open for a while" needless to say I didn't buy that shitty shatter he was trying to sell me. And to top it all of he was super sick with the flu or a bad cold and sneezed in his hands I was like OH COME ON! YOURE HANDLING MONEY MAN!! In my head I didn't say it obviously but I shouldn't have to say it. I work with money too and I always make sure my hands are clean. Over all this was the experience from hell no customer should have to go through this.

Very cold staff, they overcharged me for two pre-rolls and refused to return my money back, I settled with a cookie and a pre-rolled. Would not recommend.

Staff is welcoming! There's a super cool vibe in the waiting area , with a t.v too so you dont miss your playoffs. .. although you're in and out in no time which makes me a happy camper.

Nice friendly staff. No budlets today, relatively small "value" selection (only 2 choices), they don't weigh things in front of you, and they somehow lost my frequent flyer card during the transaction. But did I mention that the staff is nice? They really are.  But I come here only on Sundays when my first choice is closed.

Although the prices are kinda high here i recieved  excellent  service and advice from the budtender Jose. I'll definitely  be back because of him :)

It doesn't seem that any of their products are tested. When you ask them about THC content on many of their concentrates, they have no clue.Last time I went in (maybe the 3rd time I've ever been there), I was helped by a woman behind the counter who had tattoos and her breathe reeked of alcohol. (perhaps it was just a long night, but it was unpleasant) Not knowing what all is in the products I buy worries me; I don't think I'll be back to this place.

Lux is awesome. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great array of medical smokables, edibles, and topicals. I loved that it was easy to find with the sign across the street and there was plenty of parking! Most other clubs in San Jose say on weedmaps that they accept cards, but they don't; lux does which is super convenient if you don't carry cash and don't like paying the atm fees at other clubs.Chris, my budtender was awesome. He was super friendly and approachable. Chris took the time to explain to me the differences between vaporizers and the different cartridges. His patience was amazing, I didn't feel pressured or rushed at all. He even recommended a great vapor bar nearby that had products I could use to vaporize my medicine.There was a wide array of edibles. I was disappointed they didn't have any Kiva bars but their selection of Korova made up for it!I'll definitely be back.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Super spacious, clean, easy to read TVs with menus and pricing on them. Quality products, and knowledgeable employees that will answer your questions. You don't feel rushed like other places I've been to. Thanks everyone!

The staff is so confused. Always have problems with the black girl who is working there. She assigned me under someone's else account and I couldn't get my point for the next time and the other party used my points!!! So disappointed.

I usually go for the 15 Dollar eighths, On this particular day the cheapest they had was $30, which was fine. I went ahead and purchased and when I opened it when i got home it was seriously nothing but leaves and shake. How is your $30 eighths lower quality then your  $15 eighths?  Probaly wont ever come back or recommend. plus.. their employees seems to give an attitude when you ask for $15 eighths.

Tatiana is homophobic and transphobic and I will never suggest this place. The employees are completely unprofessional and the product is overpriced or terrible quality.

It saddens me to do this. I have been a long time customer of Lux.. in fact, I was a long time customer of MedMar, its predecessor that merged with another cub when San Jose implemented new zoning laws. I literally coined the term Connoisseur Shelf when MedMar received a batch of Strawberry Cough that had just been the centerfold on an issue of High Times. Trust me.. i was, and always have been, a very loyal customer.Mike (the grumpy grandpa) is a manager at Lux, and is quite possibly the ruddest short tempered retail employee I have ever come across in my life (no wonder you're still in retail as an old man). In his entirety of working at Lux, he has been unable to remember who I am. I politely inquired about a long standing deal he when he tried to offer me a 4/20 special.. he looked at me.. heard my question.. and decided instead of actually responding like a normal human being. He would repeat the deal he just stated.. like I have some sort of hearing problem.I told Mike I had received this deal every time I have come to Lux, Mikes response was, "Well I'm a manager and I've never heard of that deal." Well I come in every week and you still dont even remember me you imbecile. This is a majorly summarized event with countless thoughtless remarks by this ass that I'm not going to add.. but even the budd tender next to Mike was getting frustrated and upset by what an asshole he became by me merely inquiring about a different deal then he had just mentioned.This moronic worthless grumpy old man, has on multiple occasions upset me to the point where I have left the establishment physically angry from his dense and moronic comments and just overall rude communication he makes.I emailed Lux about this and was completely ignored, you have forever lost my business and my referral.A little advice to you Lux.. if you're going to promote someone.. dont just do it because of seniority.. you promoted the worst employee in your store to be a manager, and that is an absolute fact.Final note.. this establishment is not adhering to the requirement of wearing masks inside of stores during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Big dude in the front that checks ID needs a serious attitude adjustment and relearn general common courtesy. Didn't even say a word to me as I tried to simply engage as I was walking in then he threw my ID on the counter as I was assuming he would just hand it back to me while my hand was extended. Then as I left I tried again to get a response and nothing. I am not expecting anybody to kiss my a$$ but bro, show some courtesy and customer service. I've been a regular for a while and probably won't be back.

This place sucks so inconsistent for one the prices are shady one moment a product is $30 but if you go back a week later that same product is $35 something as basic as prerolls are always out of stock half the staff seems to be partying outside all the time sometimes I even struggle getting checked in at the front door

I don't care how good the weed is the bud tenders have a stick up their ass or some one peed in their cereal this morning they are rude as fuck make me feel like I'm a bother to them lol bro you get paid by the hour why are you so upset!!!???? Fuck this club you couldn't pay me 100$ to come back lol who ever is CEO of this company is a bitch just like the people you hire!!! No complains about the price or quality just the people you have behind the counter are absolutely trash!!! I'd give 3.5 stars if possible, and overall I'd love to give this place a better review since I've been a patient with this org since they were at their old location. Low-key facility, generally friendly staff, and quality of product & price points are good. But it seems like every time I go here, one of the male employees (always someone in management or at the front door, never any of the budtenders or actual security guards) always has to ruin my trip by being a skeez and making me really uncomfortable with comments about my appearance, clothing, etc. It happened again just recently and that's why I don't come here nearly as often as I used to. One guy in particular (but haven't seen him in a few months), short & wears baseball caps, actually came up behind me while I was at the counter and started to "affectionately" rub my shoulders. Someone in management really needs to tell their dude employees to stop being such creeps...except I get the impression that some of those creeps ARE management. Step up the professionalism, guys. I do not have this problem at other dispensaries.
