Such a strange experience!1st star for safety?! - two security guards at the door to protect us?!  Nope, to protect the product.  2nd star for presentation- who knew buying "herbs" would be so fancy?  It felt like I was in a jewelry shop: employees in uniforms with ear pieces, product under glass, a representative to help explain the quality of each product.3rd star for friendliness, yep, it was like buying herbs from a 5star restaurant.  "May I recommend to start with this?  What are you looking for today?  What purpose would you like it for?4th star for convenience, large parking lot and easy to get to.  5th star for not making me feel like a basic tired mom! Haha...  thanks guys!

I've purchased from this place two times now.  Each time they have been very professional, fast, informative and nice.  They also have a pretty good selection of what I'm looking for. Will buy there again.  Very convenient.

This location is great, very fast with curbside orders. Michael helped me out today and is always very helpful and knowledgeable with products every time I come in. This location is great and has a good variety. Currently the plug for me!

Had a great interaction with Leyana I believe her name was (?) she opened this morning and had a driver badge but she helped me with curbside! Super sweet and very politely denied my cash tip and in exchange for a review. As much as I believe cannabis workers deserve their cash tips, she was sweet and deserves the shout out!

After a super busy, rough work week I came to MedMen to try to find something to help take the edge off. I am so glad I came because the staff alone helped alleviate the work stress immediately.   I was greeted by Mariko outside, friendly and pleasant, she asked for my ID and scanned it. Turns out, my driver's license was expired!!! I was so embarrassed! Mariko began to ask me what type of product I like and that she would get a bag ready for me while I go get my passport. Normally I would've just left and stayed home but because of her gregarious nature, I got my ID and came back :)   So happy I did bc that same contagious vibe carried on throughout the staff in the store; Kyle, Brent, and Jayden  were all so kind and helpful. After my purchase I offered to leave a tip and I had my money out on the table. Jayden (who was super knowledgeable and accommodating) politely declined the tip......what is this place?! Disneyland??? Might as well have been!! Im happy to give MedMen 5 stars just for their customer service/experience alone. Im definitely coming back :)

They're wearing masks, they're polite. They have a good selection of everything. Their pricing and taxing sucks, for example, you buy something marked down or on sale. You pay all taxes (excise/local/sales) on the original pre-sale or full retail price. That is a big deal breaker. Other than that, they have plenty of newer products that aren't marked down for the end of the year sale.Budtender was informative, friendly and helpful despite company policy regarding the taxes and pricing.

I stopped in today and it was as smooth as could be hoped for. I had a general idea of what I wanted and my bud tender, Luis, helped me the rest of the way with the edibles I wanted. They have a wall of sale items behind the counter, which is also awesome because I got an eighth half off, a sweet bonus. Overall, a great trip and I got more than expected!

This was the first time I had a delivery and it was noth short of absolutely fantastic. I placed my order online, they called me to confirm and were sooo nice. Then, in less than an hour I got my order. The delivery associate, Angel, was super nice, very patient, professional and extreamly personable.I am not a person who writes reviews unless I am extreamly impressed, and I really am.Thank you Angel...you Rock!!!

So many things to love about this place. A) Terpene profiles on their website! So key and something not many places do.  You really know what you're getting here. B) Free delivery with a very low minimum! C) Super friendly and helpful staff AND delivery folks! Aiden went out of his way to be helpful, as had everyone else I've encountered here. Highly recommend.

Been a MedMen regular for a few years now, both the Irvine and San Jose locations, and I keep coming back for a reason. I'll have to do a separate review for the Irvine location later.Anyway, staff is knowledgeable and helpful, locations are well-placed, and everything is always clean. My friend told me about this shop saying it was the "green" Apple Store. I would agree, the experience is very easy and streamlined. Gotta hand it to their business ethic.Mariko's been taking care of me most recently droppin' them heady recs. She always knows the product that I'm asking about, has info about equipment questions whenever I have them, and keeps me updated on new products and any deals that I might be interested in. I think Darren's gone now but if Brent is still around, he's helped me a couple times too and is always super cool.Thank you to all the staff here for the kindness and professionalism!

Came here yesterday and was immediately greeted by Brent. He walked me In and updated my information since it's been over a year since I've been in. Then explained the inventory I was interested in and made them sound all worth trying. Made my decision and rang me up. I've been a customer to Medmen for over a year now. I just had Melissa or Megan (sorry, if I forgot your name lol. I'm high as hell) deliver to me. I like how they send you texts for ETA keeping us informed. I also had a lot of questions and she was able to answer them all. I highly recommend!

Nice and clean on the inside. Lots of great options to choose from. Salespeople are always nice as well. Mariko was super helpful and helped me find what I needed!

Had great experience here, while not the bigger nicer Med Men locations I have visited, it is a good place to bookmark. Was helped by Mariko and Jayden, both were very informative and helpful. I was impressed by their knowledge and enthusiasm. Super friendly staff. Will look forward to coming back, and hope to see a larger version soon in the area.

The review calling this store hostile has it right. [Edit, 10 min after posting: It's incredibly misleading to use Buddy's former reviews on this yelp page. The reviews before ~February 2019 are for Buddy's, not med men. Filter reviews by newest, and see what I mean.]Buddy's is dead. The product med men sells is over-priced and not nearly as nice as what Buddy's sold.The layout looks nice, but it is incredibly cramped, cold, and unfriendly. The products are over priced, lower quality. Big bummer. Staff can be a little hostile, and the former buddy's employees will try their best to help you, but have to follow new rules that aren't at all customer-friendly. You can feel it as the employees try to sell/recommend products that they don't really believe in, bad sign.  I recommend delivery services or literally any other club than this unfeeling bougie apple weed store.Buddy's was a gem, such a welcoming atmosphere. Also, don't ever buy a dosist pen. They stop working before you even use 50% of the product, and aren't returnable. Plus, the "dosing" thing is completely false advertising, as useful as it would be. Can't recommend this place. Don't go here. It's not buddy's any more. Find alternatives, like Harborside down the street.

Horrible delivery Svc. There atm service was down so the delivery guy had to go back and get another machine. The delivery manager and store manager would notLet anyone else come backWith another machine. And told me they done take credit union debit cards with the visa logo that everywhere  and everyone takes. Will not be using them or recommending them.

Do not go here if you don't have too! They said they were having a special for a week a lied. Its just to bait you to return.

Came in today for the first time and was helped by Michael A. Really nice and knowledgeable guy! He helped me get exactly what I needed and was very professional. South Park said Med Men didn't have Tegrity, but Michael proved them wrong!

This place is down right DIRTY!!! I was asking for prices on certain products and the prices seemed surprisingly low. Thats when the woman on the phone said it was AGAINST MED MEN POLICY TO BE HONEST ABOUT THE PRICE. They will only tell you the pre tax price and refuse to tell you the real price on the phone and online. There is no way to know the real price unless you actually buy the product or do the math. This is legal false advertising and its shameful. Its shameful to lie by omission but to actually make a company policy that the employees are not allowed to be honest about the price and are requires to lie by omission is just...i need to improve my vocabulary as i don't have the word for "disgustingly predatory and manipulative business practices."

Got to spend some time with Sam last night. He was so attentive and present as always. He introduced me to two new products which are gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for! Thank you, Sam and team!

The products here are great, the staff is friendly, the discounts are awesome, and everyone is knowledgeable here. They have a very wide variety of CBD products.

This place isn't bad, but I much preferred it when it was Buddy's. Buddy's was friendly and open. This is more like a doctor's office. Although you can browse more than you were able to at Buddy's since you had to wait for a person to take you back there. MadMen doesn't seem to be as friendly when you walk in. Now I'm not saying the staff isn't friendly, because they are, but the environment just doesn't feel as friendly. They only accept cash or debit, no credit cards like you were able to at Buddy's.

Don't come here. It sucks. The staff sucks and they barely help you. All they do is talk to each other about how stoned they are or what food they are gonna order because they have the munchies. Take the extra few steps and head to Harborside that's a few doors down. They take care of their clientele.

I am so incredibly disappointed in MedMen. I miss buddy's. It used to be relaxing and enjoyable to be there but this place is super corporate and out of touch with the cannabis culture.They are falsely advertising their hours. They started closing at 5 pm on Sunday (which is way earlier than it used to be) but their security team closes the parking lot 15 minutes before the actual business closes! They won't let you go in if the parking lot is closed. I even caught the security guards as they were closing the door. I told them that I just spoke with somebody inside and they had what I needed at the front desk. They refused to let me walk in to an open business! He could've been flexible and said no problem, but he decided he was going to be rude and say no to somebody who is being completely reasonable, right in front of the business, literally with money in hand. They just flat out refused to help me. I then had to drive across town to a different club to get my Cannabis for my migraine. While at the other club (which was packed full of your customers... because you were closed at 4:45 pm) we were all waiting our turn to go in, several people shared their own stories about their recent experiences at MedMen. Issues included:About club hours and parking lot closures (me). You no longer except cards? The new store looks like an Apple store.Don't like the corporate vibeThat the staff is "encouraged" to up-sell and have a minimum dollars/ units per transaction "standard"?And a woman was sad because you got rid of the service animals that made going there so relaxing.I'm not 100% sure if all of what they said was accurate but I do hope you use this feedback from our Impromptu focus group to make some adjustments. Myself and two other customers added up how much on average we spent biweekly at MedMen and with just myself and those two other customers, it's over $4500 a year that you're losing. All from alienating your customer base. The public is observing and have formed opinions about Med Men.I know he didn't know this but I had a horrible migraine and driving that far with a migraine is scary. If somebody has a migraine and/or any ailment and you tell them that they can't purchase their medicine... Even though they came before the pharmacy closed...You're guaranteeing a negative experience. I'm really bummed that I had to say such negative things and honestly I'm embarrassed to go back (because the way I peeled out when they refused to let me in) but you can't treat people like their nothing and expect not to hear about it. To Yelp: Since Med Men is no longer the same business, they've changed everything including the location and the name, shouldn't they be re-listed? all the stars and positive reviews on this page were earned by buddy's, which is now closed.

This place is great! Have been coming here since it Buddy's. Staff is awesome and really know their product being sold there. Very good selection of pretty much anything you need.Recently I had bought 2, 1 gram cartridges and both of then clogged up really bad and the oil was coming out. I sent Medmen an email saying what happened, they said come on by and I can exchange for free. That's awsome! Thumbs up to the whole staff!

I used to come here to buddies  3-4 times a month and pack all sort of things from chocolate , meta milk, oil etc. Now it s med men and that is a NoNoNo. Expensive, high tech , and they only take cash or debit. Not a good at all and will never come back here .

Gone in a few weeks ago and my bud tender, Sabrina, she was very knowledgeable about the products there and was able to give me some of the best service I've had at a dispensary in a long time, if I were to suggest any dispensary I'd recommend MedMen! Great people, great vibes, and great products. I picked up this bud called,"Night Sky" by Golden State and it was !!! Give this place a visit and it will not disappoint. If your looking for great quality and great service from a dispensary then MedMen is your destination!

Love this place! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful especially Michael who always remembers me by name. The staff and weed is fantastic. Definitely come here if you want good weed and great customer service.

This place is capitalizing on the goodwill of Buddy's and they do NOT deserve it. They've even had the gall to buy a giant billboard above the store that says Buddy's is NOW MedMen, but it isn't. Buddy's is gone. It isn't coming back. And it's been replaced with the most sterile, overpriced, hostile, little fish tank of a dispensary I have ever been to. Buddy's baked some of the taxes into the listed prices for products. MedMen charged me $29 for two pre-rolls that they said were 1g each when they were only 0.7g. (I caught this before paying and the cashier just said "Oh. Well, they're really good." - as if I'm going to believe that garbage after he got the size wrong. Buddy's offered great deals and knowledgeable salespeople that were friendly and trustworthy. MedMen employs a bunch of kids that would be impossible to differentiate from a Target employee (lanyards, red polos, and khakis), except that they are less friendly and less knowledgeable. Buddy's took credit cards. MedMen does not and they blame everyone else for why they "can't." Everything at MedMen is "we can't." Well how the hell does every other dispensary do it then? This place makes every other experience I've had with the other corporate, over-tech'd dispensaries in the South Bay look like a super fun weekend with Willie, Snoop, and the Dude. It's the worst.I keep saying they're hostile and here's why. I made a trip in to Buddy's and bought a cartridge just before a 10 day roadtrip with my fiancee. The friendly sales guy let me know they were a new product so if I had any issues with it I should just bring it back and they'd replace it. It didn't really even stick with me until a few days later when I went to use it and I immediately had issues with it. It took a ton of hard pulling to get it to hit at all. I was on the road trip with my fiancee at that point, and we didn't have anything else, so we continued to use it, but we had to pull so hard to get it to activate that we were getting dizzy from the effort. End of the road trip and we'd used maybe 10% of the oil so I went to exchange it. I pull up to Buddy's to see it's been replaced. I don't think much of it. I walk in and immediately get an offer for help from a young guy in a hat. I explain the situation and he just sort of sits there and gawks at me. Clearly no idea what to do. I get kind of nervous/want to try and double down on my story, so I go to hit the cartridge to show that it won't hit, but LO AND BEHOLD, it's been sitting in the hot car for a while and it's warmed up enough that it hits just a TINY bit, right off the bat. I don't inhale, but a small wisp of vapor does leave my mouth into the air.Now I know I've screwed up. I know that. But I thought it was a 0% chance that it would hit and it was an honest mistake. I apologize profusely. The sales guy FREAKS out. Tells me I can't do that. I say "I know, sorry man, I really didn't mean to." He says "no, it's a REALLY big deal." I say okay and ask what I can do. We talk it out for a minute and he finally says it's fine but that he just needs to go ask his boss about what to do about my replacement cartridge. He's gone for ~5 minutes and then comes back and doesn't have an answer for me? He just sort of stutters about what had happened. Finally, another store employee is enough of a homie to tell me to walk away BECAUSE THEY HAVE CALLED THE COPS ON ME AND ARE TRYING TO STALL ME UNTIL THE COPS COME.Now I know there are two sides to every story, and you might be wondering if I'm full of crap. But I had the fiancee with me. We've been together for 10+ years and she has little tolerance for my BS. I'm more scared of her reaction than I am of anything else, but she's fully on my team: confirms that the awful sales associate was awkward and useless as hell. We're both shaking by the time we leave.I understand following the laws. And I even understand if they have a legal obligation to call the cops. But their handling of ALL of it was absolutely atrocious. Thank you to the guy who warned me that they were going to try and get me arrested. Everything else about this place is garbage.

Stopped by yesterday (1st time at MedMen) and was helped by Michael in purchasing some cartridges (stiizy, 1gm), an infused drink, and some of MedMen's own in house flower. Prices were very competitive - lots of dispensaries in a one mile radius and so far in my experience MedMen had the best prices on the stiizy cartridges. Michael communicated the best deals and his suggestions and preferences in a very clear and transparent manner and was very helpful and friendly without being pushy or rushed - thanks for the great service Michael! I would recommend this location and I will be returning again.

This is the third time I stop by this store. The securities are all super nice. Tyler B. Has helped me out twice now! He's very attentive, quick, and knows his stuff. He gave me recommendations to try and even told me what deals they currently have. I'm literally in and out! Never have to wait in line! I tried tipping him the first time and he told me he's not allowed to accept! So I hope a review shows my appreciation. Thanks again!

This used to be "my place" to buy, but the friendly homey place has changed. It no longer feels friendly and welcoming, prices have gone up and banter seems to have gone by the wayside. Now it's a hurry up so we can get to the next person in line. SO disappointed.So, I decided to give it another try, as this is a few blocks from home.Things actually improved, good product, and a wide selection.Then things stared to go downhill...again.Weed is DRY, and Sativa selection almost non-existent. Delivery was so-so, the driver was a gem, put the program sucked. I wonder if the owners have ever grown pot, worked retail, or had any retail experience, other than sitting behind a desk. JMOT

Buddy's is my favorite dispensary! They always have vegan edibles which is a plus. The budtunders are nice as well. Comfy waiting room. I also love their selections of hybrids.Thank you buddy's

Amazing service and all of the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about all of their products. high quality products at a great price. You can even order online ahead of time for in-store pickup and pay with debit or cash when you arrive. Which is great when you're in a rush cause this place is popular. Pretty much my number one store to go to

I've been buying from products from MedMen since it opened. And from when it opened to now it's been a decline in quality of product. For the past 5 deliveries I've been ordering top shelf cannabis for 80 dollars or more. Let me tell you, it's as dry as oregano. What happened? It wasn't like this before, even a driver whom I've expressed this too agreed that the cannabis they sell is dry and not that good. So friends who love to take flight, have this in mind. What you order might not be worth the price you pay. Might be expensive oregano.

LOVE MEDMEN, second to none! You won't find better selection of products as well as the amazing service anywhere compared to MedMen.i have been to them all, there is no question this is the best place.   Extremely convenient, in and outta there fast (unlike Airfield Supply, that place blows!). Just today, a fellow there was so pro-actively helpful to me by checking the warehouse for my favorite product.  He went out of his way to help and I was very impressed and so appreciative of his kindness.  I am blanking on his name, the guy who is the Lead in the back, thank you man!!  Feedback Corporate Management - I love this place, but there are some easy improvements you can make to improve the experience:1.  I am offended that the Tip Jar is gone!  Not cool, and it's bad business for everyone.  Just think, your employees will have higher wages with no cost to your business!  Plus, it provides an incentive for your employees to go above and beyond.  Bring it back, seriously, not cool  Most places don't have tip jars and this is great opportunity to have a competitive advantage over the other dispensaries.  Its the right thing to do as well with no burden.  And the "tax issue" argument doesn't fly, thousands of companies allow tips for their employees legally.2.  Please let the Purchasing Team know that the facility is constantly out of inventory on the good products.  We don't need anymore CBD!  We need Sativa!  I recommend using metrics and looking at your customer's purchase history and do better forecasting and keep some extra on the shelf, it will turn fast and you make more money, and I am happy too  :-)

Finally with Recreational cannabis, there really is no reason to go anywhere but Buddys!This is the only licensed location ai know of that eats some of the taxes to make it a little easier on your pocket book.Excellent staff and management,  and they all love the product they are selling.

Mac, the store manager, was very courteous and understanding of my particular situation. We deduced that it was the manufacturer/packaging that was the issue. A quick exchange of the same product and I was on my way. Everyone in the store, including Isaac, is so nice and really there to help.

They no longer accept credit cards:Buddy's is my favorite dispensary. It is comfortable, safe, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They have seating so you can sit and wait untill your turn is up instead of standing in a long line like the competitors. The prices are average and the variety of products are impressive. I would love to give this place a 5 star review but they no longer take credit cards, only debit and cash. I had to leave empty handed so now I'm sober and grumpy. I will continue to shop here and change my review once they fix this credit issue.

This is a great place, staff is always extremely helpful and happy to help. Especially Mac, Ashley, Sanchez and Joey! All of the staff is super professional and courteous really.Don't go anywhere else where the experience is like going to the DMV or McDonalds with workers simply going through the motions. These guys really care about making sure you leave feeling comfortable that you left with the right product !!

First time here and have to say This dispensary is time wasteful, unorganized, overpriced and uncoordinated. wasted an hr looking around and wasnt informed that the debit card system was down, the worker said "the IT guy wasnt able to fix it today". How hard is it to make a sign notifying the customers to bring cash only today before even walking in. P.S Never coming back and ive smoked/seen better weed on the streets than in this dispensary.

Had high hopes for the house pre rolls . Don't waste your time; rolled so bad I couldn't even get a pull. $22 down the drain. But now I know why they are 4.3 on WeedmapsUpon further review - it is good flower - pre rolls need finessing

I REALLY miss when this used to be Buddy's. I had high hopes thinking to swing by and see what it's like under new ownership. They jacked up the prices and sold my friend a $70 eighth, an EIGHTH. I tried telling the cashier "dang that's pricey" and he responds "it's the California tax, yeah right dude. And they even left the actual price tag on the jar with it being $27.50. Don't trust this place and if you can go somewhere else I'd recommend it. Their idea of displaying iPads with information is cool but you feel like you're in an Apple store so it gives off the vibe staff isn't knowledgeable on what they're selling/personal feel like buddy's used to be where you sit down one on one with a representative.

It was a shock to come here & discover it was no longer Buddy's. Luckily for me, I had a nice crop back in the fall & never needed to shop anywhere else. (& really only visited to be able to 'stretch' it further! So I came down on a whim and - Buddy's is gone! Word is Buddy sold it out for a nice pile of 'fuck you' money.There Are some notable differences, the first, being No Bike Rack. Yes, Buddy's had one outside, and I was forced to tie my bike to a water outlet. They could sure do with putting another one in, if they want customer loyalty!Second, no place to SIT DOWN inside, unlike Buddy's which had a real "hang & chill" atmosphere. No, Med Men are all business, and you do get a nice couple rows of sample jars to sniff and examine, but as for anything else, it's just a counter with the registers. That made me sad 'cus even Airfield Supply offers at least a couch people can sit at while they think about their next move... or just to appreciate being somewhere that's not contraband territory for once. All the same. They do offer a selection of cheap ($15 grams) and eighths, a little less pricey than Buddy's, but really that's the only benefit from otherwise. They have top shelf but priced maybe a third t a half more higher...I might come back. The location was always real easy to get to when connecting by VTA (Gish Station) and - if only they would think to have a bike rack...

I can't believe this place has any positive reviews. I bought flowers and was ripped off. What I was shown and what I received were not the same. I found out before I left the parking lot, went back for an exchange for what they showed me and they said they couldn't do it because it was opened. I argued that yes it was just opened, that's how I know it's not the same product. Had I gone home I can see well you opened it. This place is ridiculous. Go to the other place down the street. You'll be glad you did.

Been going here a while and have developed a preferred product.  I'm not going to say what it is on here because the last thing I need is more people buying it!  Buddy's used to run out of it sometimes, but not too often.  MedMen isn't even ordering it on the regular!  Mac used to be the buyer for Buddy's, but was removed from that role at MedMen.  I'll be looking for another store if they don't get it together!!!

Very nice secure store, service and selection excellent. An employee gave me a personal walk through of the entire store, making shopping there a breeze. They offer a wide selection of products. Location is good with decent size lot in industrial san jose. Their prices can be expensive but are similar to other places in san jose.

Very professional ! Great customer service and high quality products on display. I used to go to purple lotus until I found this place. Easy access off 10th and commercial. and affordable prices and options. Mack n Melissa helped make my experience a great one. I will be back

No credit cards are allowed (debit only), too much of taking photos of my ID (with no guarantees in privacy aspect), overall more than average prices for flowers. First and last experience.

The building is a bit hidden and hard to find but at least it has packing. everything is super over priced and there are no specials for first time buyers. i got 1 cartridge which turned out to be a terrible idea. $90 down the drain. it started clogging right away. i changed the battery but it still had the same problem. their return policy is only for 7 days so i couldn't return it. Definitely not a fan

I have been coming here since it opened. I will not return any longer and not because of the staff because they were great but rather the fact the place was just sold to new ownership and already they are making changes that are BS. Now the menu is light on options, they quit taking credit, they are 10% higher then all others. Head to Purple lotus down the block they take care of you. Buddy's now looks like a prison with all the security and the uncomfortable vibe they give off in heavy presence. Today they had 5  security running the whole show even telling the staff I've know for years how stuff was now going to be. Go to Purple Lotus

I had such a great experience with Luckie! I'm brand new to cannabis, and she really talked me through what I was looking for, what to expect, and what product might be best for a newbie like me. She got me set up with some mints, and I had a great time! I'll definitely be back.

This is a very clean, friendly, and knowledgeable dispensary. I have been patient for several years and have always been treated with respect and a smile when I go to Buddy's. I especially enjoy when Emmit is there, he is a delight to talk to and has great customer service! When I am there, I will request him personally and wait till he's available. I was skeptical at first when Medmen took over from Buddy's however the lever of customer service and pricing as remained the same as it was. As long as this continues and they also continue to sell shake I will keep coming back.

First time at this Dispensary and I have to say I am completely sold on the Platinum level of customer service and the experience that I received from David G. The welcoming environment the he created for me was incredible. David was very personable, patient and open to Q & A on every strain he was familiar with. For myself I appreciate honesty and recommendations for trying new items and strains. I was able to check out every single item in the menu, I personally prefer the flower menu they have available and I appreciate that Buddy's allows you to OPEN their flower jars to smell the buds. They also have LED magnifying glasses to get a close up view of the buds. I left a very happy customer with a ton of new strains and will be returning very, very soon.Thanks again David G. I only come here to see Betty. Just kidding!I love Buddy's Cannabis because I know I can always try a new strain and won't regret it. Their customer service is wonderful even if the entire place is packed. The over all aesthetic of the place is quirky -- or I might just like pink. But I love Buddy's because of how their flowers are and their prices and deals are reasonable.

I don't usually leave reviews on yelp, but a good deed deserves one back. My man Joey here is GRADE A+ on all levels! Don't know how else to put it. Customer service is amazing. Always smiling. Makes the buying experience nice and easy. Very relatable.  He exemplifies everything I expect, as a customer, an employee to be & he is what I want to be as customer service employee as well. I mean, the guy went out of his way to save me $20 on my purchase because I didn't have a coupon. If that isn't grade A I don't know what is. I almost missed this amazing dispensary because everyone was recommending Harbor side. Buddy's Cannabis had amazingly kind staff and an incredible arrangement of buds to try. It was my first visit there and for buying $50 worth of flower I got 2 pre-rolls, a lighter, a grinder and rolling papers all in a very cool smell proof bag that can hold my entire stash.I am not just very happy with my deal but the actual product is some of the best flower I have had in years. Check this awesome place out!

I live a 100 miles away and one of my $65 cartridges doesn't work. The bud tender was excellent,in and out efficiently, but a little suspect of the quality of their products. Oh well.

I am looking at the menu and just snatches it from me and points at the same menu she had. was not welcoming and really bad attitude. doesnt seem like she has great customer service. then she tells me to leave, a worker not a manager , not an owner a worker. who does she think she is. she will bring the buiness down, last time i am coming here. thanks to the floor manager,  who took over and made things better for my experience.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.......EVER! I was a first timer here. The security and front desk were helpful & nice. However, the lady who was assigned to help us out was rude as hell. She's lucky I didn't get her name. She kept asking me for the spelling of my name ( Like I don't know how to spell my name). Only to find out that they didn't save my information from the front desk and had to input ALL my information again. She was talking to us like we were seven years old the ENTIRE time. If you don't like your job or the questions/comments being said to you...just quit. I made damn sure they didn't get any of my money. I will never go to Buddy's Cannabis again but luckily HarborSide was right now the street literally. :)  ( They are amazing BTW)...Also, you should know that they don't put any THC % on their medication. According to her, she said they kept sending the same strand to the lab & the results keep varying. So they don't know the THC levels.

Heard a lot of good things about Steven aka Big O so i ask for him and right at the start he was friendly and happy ! Helped me out on fome fire flower and some wax and the 4.20 deals were on point !

Over priced than any other local dispensaries, low inventory, all the preroll and blunts aren't really  quite effective as it says. The sales people  are quite pushy and try to sell hard. At the end, they do charge your bank $5 separately even if you use the debit card and they never let you know ahead of time. They sell one gram preroll standard thc and standard size for $25 where other dispensaries the same product is for $10.00. Quite a rip off and shady place to visit. Also, be aware of surroundings while parking your car.

Been going to Buddy's since they were in Santa Clara. Love that place, the staff are so helpful and informed. I never remember what I got previously and they always do a great job of helping me find things for my symptoms. Pricing beats most others, too! Highly recommend! They have a black lab, Betty, she's really sweet. Rarely have to wait more than five minutes, though they do have busy periods. They run great sales and specials. My only wish is that it was a little less "stereotypical stoner chic" in ambiance/decor.

Since this dispensary is no longer Buddy's, many of the reviews contributing to it's rating are no longer relevant and should be deleted. Used to be a relaxing, welcoming place to find interesting product. Now it's a faux Apple store with a cumbersome touch screen menu that's formatted to preclude easy price comparison. Down to earth ambience replaced with bright fluorescent overhead lighting and derivative corporate branding. Also seems to carry much of the same prepackaged garbage as Eaze. Need to find a new spot.

If you want something corporate, this place is for you. Buddys was awesome. I came one day and it was MedMen all of a sudden. I went for my usual lemonade drink that was 20 bucks at Buddy's but it's now 30 bucks. Buddy's had a cozy feel, this place feels like you're walking into an Apple store. I would choose Caliva over this place.

With it being the 21st Century and all...what's with the having to check your ID 3 times? Why can't the security guys initial scan be transferred to the main computer...seems simple enough.

Very helpful staff! I was looking for CBD and they had a really good collection. They even help you get any discount you might be able to take. Fast service, minimal waiting, especially if you know what you want.

This place is the best recreational dispensary I've ever been to! The selection is potent and beautiful! An employee let me know that they require in a contract that the people they purchase their cannabis from HAVE to be the growers! Which is unique, thoughtful and quite special :)

This was my first time to any dispensary. As I waited to be let in i did not know what to expect. I saw a very sweet dog walking around. The front desk person was very friendly. Got my paper work processed and waited for my bud tender in just a matter of minutes. David was so helpful. I told him I wanted to start out with edibles. He showed me several items and explained them to me. After selecting my items I decided to get a bud. He let me smell several strains. I decided which one I wanted. It only gets better. I received several discounts. #1, senior discount, (Wednesday's only), 1st time patient discountDiscount and a bundle of fantastic goodies as a first timer. Fast and friendly folks. Everyone made me so comfortable. I will be back.

No more freebies for new members, including medical. Its 2018 and as expected, there is a wait. I was pleasantly surprised at the availability of parking spaces-- with the amount of people inside, there is still a few parking spaces available, especially near the back. When you reach the door, your ID gets checked and scanned, and then you proceed to the counter where they again check you ID and then put you on the wait list. The waiting area makes up about half of the establishment. Theres plenty of chairs available, though still not enough for the crowd. It is also by the door, so the area does get pretty drafty. The wait for me was about roughly 25 minutes. Contrary to other people's experiences, I didn't receive friendly or helpful of a service from the two people I've interacted with. It was very busy, but still. When you reach the service desk, you get a extensive menu of what the establishment offers. First thing I've noticed is that the prices obviously went up. The price of the each items are about two dollars more, not including tax. You can sometimes see this on certain edible packaging that still has the old sticker. Most of the flowers are from the $12-$17 range per gram. I asked about the THC and CBD levels, but was told that they do not know since the flowers were not tested. I also ask if they offer anything for new members, which a few people here has posted about, or any specials at all for spending a certain amount. I was told that they don't give anything out for free anymore and that those (freebies) were "a loss for them". Well... it certainly helped them gain new and retain members... The smell proof bags, I believe, also cost extra. If you don't want to purchase one, they'll put the products in a white paper bag.

Professional and HelpfulI only use the cbd products to help me sleep ... these guys are super knowledgeable about their products and ask enough questions to help you get what you want and need.  Try and get over there on the week days and you won't have to wait too long.  My experiences there have been good.

I went in with a litany of questions and the staff on hand was very helpful, not rushed, and focused on answering all of my questions. I was able to get what I needed and the staff also reminded me of some ways to save money. I miss Buddy's but Medmen runs a very clean, professional operation with great customer service every time I visit. I will continue to come back!

Any club I've been in to that tries to hand me a pre packaged 1/8 from a "fun box" or has it hand delivered from the back like that makes it exclusive is gonna watch me walk out the door. They push the fact that it's all organic quality tree which would be nice if each nug wasn't in a cocoon of its own leaves. They charge top prices plus tax and have worse tree than half of the dispensaries that have gotten shut down lately. Go check out NHPR they have 50 strains out for you to smell and they don't pressure you to go for top shelf... your nose will do all the convincing you need! Buddies is a nice environment but the medicine is mediocre for top shelf price+taxAnd top shelf free gram really? Each one I got was brown and when I went digging through the leaves to play find the nug there actually wasn't any flower whatsoever!Update: After writing this review I received a message from the Buddy's yelp account threatening me with legal and physical revenge if I didn't take this negative review down. Any business that jumps straight to physical harm instead of taking their customers advice and complaints in to account should have a bad review. Is that how you handle all of your less than 5 star reviews Buddy's? Grow up

Be aware. New owners now insist on actually storing your information, such as driver's license scan. It used to be they simply look at it to verify my eligibility to purchase. No more. I can't purchase anything unless they store it. Store manager said it's required by law yet he couldn't point to any particulars as to why and who requires it. Perhaps they sell it to somebody who shares it with feds? I don't want any of that big brother stuff. Choose another dispensary if you value your privacy

What was my favorite place is now a dump. Stems galore and ridiculous prices. Go away, MedMen. Might as well go somewhere with better selection and products if you're going to pay these prices and have salesmen pitch you bullsh*t

This is my first time visiting the facility since it changed over from Buddy's and I'm sincerely disappointed. I had no idea that ownership had  changed and wanted to be excited about something new when arriving. However, I got to the door and this place has mimicked the layout of an Apple Store which is weird and lacks character. First, there are only iPads/tablets labeling the flowers or products.  You have to count each container to figure out where it is represented on the iPad which is infuriating and takes up too much time. Secondly, if you are disabled or in a wheelchair, it is extremely difficult to navigate the store because you have to wander around with no centralization like before. Third, there are no iPads labeling the percentage at this current time, so you can't tell if you're purchasing high shelf for low. Fourth, there is no way to order straight from the iPad, so you have to find someone in the store to assist you,  which can be extremely difficult when they're busy. Long story short, they took a great store and made it more complicated than it needed to be. The employees are trying to do their best with the system and are kind but this layout is garbage (which is why I gave two stars).  Miss Buddy's already! New owners you could easily clean up this system and make it less evasive.

I was really disappointed in how long I had to wait; then crippled with what to me seemed to be high prices!

I love coming in to Buddy's Cannabis to pick up my medicine. The whole store has an amazing atmosphere and vibe. Local art hangs on the wall for sale, there's a shop dog named Betty who sometimes brings a ball into the lobby to play with you, and all of the staff are friendly, compassionate, and (most importantly for me at least) very queer/trans friendly. They use my preferred name (unlike a lot of other shops in the area that birth name me) and always have good quality flower. Definitely check them out if you haven't!

I'm sure they're fine for recreational users but they don't have what the medical patients need. I watch this menu as I'd like to spend money here.      But nooo...We don't see 100mg thc capsules (oil based/abx) nor do we see the 100mg thc beverages.  (Dixie, cannaquenchers). Whaddya say to your medical patients folks? Guess we'll see your response in your menu.

Sold cartridges that didn't work. Got an exchange, but I want to see if the cartridge would work with the pen and apparently membership terminated because they do not allow to test it on premise. Not happy with the whole experience .

Buddy's is my go to clinic for all my MM needs. They have quality products at affordable prices, and the staff know their stuff. I like the fact that they keep a list of products you've purchased in the past and can guide you through the decision process. If I may, I'd like to recommend their Campbell Kush, it was effective and affordable. Very pleasant environment, helpful and accommodating staff, and a secure establishment.

Been going to Buddy's for over a year now. Everyone I have ever interacted with at Buddy's has been super chill and helpful.You can tell the experts what your mood is and they can help you find the best herbs to match. Buddy's definitely has the best selection and variety from the other places Ive been too. Better yet, they have great specials year round and they change them up, so you can always choose to go with something different, or come back to something you've really liked in the past.Their edibles are pretty good too. Not sure if they make their own or if they source them, but they have a wide selection and they are sure to tell you how different the effects are from herbs.They recently changed locations, not sure why, but if there was something to knock is that now it feels a bit warehouse-y. But they definitely did their best to add comfy chairs and ultimately its the people that make the place enjoyable.

I miss the old location because the inside was vibrant and colorful, and the distance wasn't too far from me. Now, I have to go to the other side of town, or order delivery from other businesses. I still like Buddy's because of the budtenders there are chill people.

Buddy's used to be my go to since I moved up to SJ but under the new management, they no longer accept credit cards and also jacked up the prices- I think they used to be tax-free/ charging less tax to the consumers but I was shocked by the price form my last visit. Prolly will look for elsewhere and alternative, it's a shame.

Buyer beware: don't trust these people! They are very dishonest! They took advantage of my newbie status.I'm a new card holder. A friend of mine recommended Buddy's. So, I made my first ever medical marijuana purchase there. When nice young clerk asked what I wanted to buy I said I knew exactly what I wanted because some friends had shared theirs with me. She rang me up for those things. All good, right?She casually asked who it was that recommended Buddy's to me, and that if I gave their name they would get some % discount (I forget how much) the next time they came in. I willingly gave one of the friends' name and phone number. I even said, oh, he's going to be so happy when he comes in next time! And she smiled sweetly and said yes![A couple of weeks later] This morning I heard my phone ring and saw that friend's name come up. I thought, oh he's just visited Buddy's and is going to thank me for that surprise discount they gave him. Instead, he asked if I'd said he'd shared medical marijuana with me. (I had not). He said they'd banned him for life from buying from Buddy's.I called Buddy's and found out that sure enough, he is banned and will not be able to buy from any dispensary in San Jose AND they've reported him to the police department. This is not reversible.The nice clerk had lied through her teeth about the "discount" and instead independently made a connection between the friend who recommended Buddy's and the friend who shared medicinals with me. I didn't explicitly say he was the one who shared it. I was baited and deceived. Do not shop at Buddy's!

Best Customer Service Gonzales is the rep and has the best customer service. He took his time and explained the various products to me.

I want to start off by saying I've been coming to this establishment for more than 6 months, and generally has had good experience overall with the staff and the bud. Today's experience left a bad taste so I feel compelled to write a review.  I started experiencing allergic reactions a few times after trying out new strains so I thought I would stay with the Master Kush I always get(which gave me no problems) Well the very last time I purchased the usual, I had experienced another allergic reaction.   I smoked some bud from elsewhere and I had no issues. This leads me to believe that it was not the strain, nor am I allergic to marijuana or thc as I have been a frequent user for over 6 years.I went in today to let the staff know that this issue re-occurred in hopes they could find out what's happened or what's different.  The staff at the front desk had told me it was interesting because the other day, one of the staff touched some bud in the back and broke out in hives, much like the reaction I had.  I asked to speak with the owner of the establishment to see if we could get to the bottom of it as I would like to keep coming back as I am a regular patient there.  Someone came out to speak to me, I don't know if it's the owner or manager and I relayed my  issue to him.  I understand he's not a doctor nor scientist so he may not know what the issue is in particular.  All I wanted was a confirmation that they understand the issue and they would maybe double check their process of storage or at the very least check with their supplier for any changes that may have been made.  At least ease my mind that they will investigate.  Instead he told me very adamantly without checking or asking any of his staff,  that nothing has changed and that maybe my body's just not reacting well and I should take a break. He also mentioned that this was the only case he's seen with someone with an allergic reaction so he said it didn't have anything to do with the product and that no one else has filed a complaint.  If that was the case, then why did his staff also have an allergic reaction when touching the bud.Even though my previous experiences were relatively good.  I will unlikely come back to this establishment.  At the end of the day business is business but I'd much rather find someone who cares more about my situation. On another note, maybe it would be wise to have allergen labels to clearly define what is in the bud I am smoking.

Buddy's is amazing.   The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. My first visit was filled with a lot of questions but the staff was able to help me find products right for me. Buddy's also participated in many community events and I'm proud of their participation in the winter canned food drive for local food banks. I even had a mechanical matter with my car and they let me leave it overnight until I got a tow. I will definitely be back.

I have been to Buddy's a few times, and it has been OK.  I was shocked! to find that they do not provide the THC % of the buds I bought there today!  I called to ask about it, and the person on the phone said literally 'the law doesn't require it'.  I informed her that every other dispensary I have been to lately DOES provide the THC %, but she clearly indicated that she doesn't care!  So, I guess I won't be back, until I see the THC % on their website.

what can i say that can truly express the satisfaction and joy i experience from each visit.... NUFFIN. oh well, here goes. Location: the location is kinda hard to find. haha the first time i missed it, haha. but there's always plenty of parking.Venue:it's small. some people think that this might be a bad thing... but i think that it's great. it's efficient and personal. There is a bar for each patient and it's great! each bar has jars of flowers to look at, as well as a light with a magnifying glass. there's an updated list of concentrates and edibles and also the deals of the day. They list the flowers as well. They also offer you a chair to use in case you really cant decide on whether or not to get a gram of hash or an 1/8th of flowers. Employees:everytime i come in, it is a wonderful experience. they are pleasant, well mannered, friendly, and happy. Sometimes im even greeted by my name! it's awesome! that's great customer service, no wait, that's beyond customer service. If i'm feeling indecisive, they always come through with a great recommendations. Products:i've bought mostly concentrates and lemonade. The flowers are dank tho. always fresh, always icey. I'm from Sacramento and my go to club haven't been stocking up on lemonades and iced teas. and i can always count of Buddy's having my stuff. Overall:this place is great. every visit is worth the drive.

Recently renewed my card......most clubs u get a freebie if it's ur first time there.....here you have to spend 50$ oorrrrr u get nothing which is cool business is business.....checking me in took a good 15 mins as to 5 minutes at other places.....now the reason for the 2 stars is wait time for new patients, no freebie, and the prices are crazy.....and that's before tax.....won't be coming back

I love this place but they need to hire workers who know the product..been there atleast ten times and it's turned into a cool social environment..but at the end of the day there isn't anybody there to answer questions about the products and they make fun of their own workers when you ask about the weed past two times I was there they said oh yea our growers aren't good..also I seen a guy in an exterminator/pest control suit going into there with a nasty sprayer..idk if I can go back after seeing that guy who knows what he was spraying...their workers don't that's for sure

The friendliest staff! They gave us a tour when we walked in so we'd know where everything was and then stayed with us to make sure we got what we needed. Fast, friendly, and not too expensive, definitely recommend!

This place sucks they should sell City cartridges that don't even get you high at 77% they don't care if it medicates the patient they don't care for the patient all they worry about as their income and Shady don't go to them they're worthless their prices are over prices are way too high go somewhere else this place sucks go to Harborside that take your stuff back if it doesn't work they take your stuff back if it doesn't get you high that take your stuff back if it doesn't get you medicated this place sucks sucks sucks sucks!!!

Buddy's is the best place to go for my needs. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They always have my favorite indica strain.

This place is amazing!! I've been coming here for a while and I've yet to have a bad experience. :) Emmet is especially gregarious and wonderful and I hope that everyone who comes here gets as an amazing experience as I've had.

Buddy's Is a beautiful place! It was busy both times I visited, and both times were great experiences. The staff is friendly and answered all the questions I had, being a first time dispensary customer. Also, the goat logo is just awesome.

I can't say I don't miss the old location, I liked getting my hair cut @ Kitty's for Men too.  However since the move to 10th, Buddy's is getting back into all the neat local art and grooves!  I've never seen anything @ Buddy's but the finest of flowers.  These guys don't play around, they have a beautiful selection of both Indica and Sativa, not to mention weekly deals.  I don't know what was going on with the 2 "bad" reviews, but neither one of them seems like the whole story.  Never have my father or I been denied a good look at the product, nor has it been all leafs... ever.  Buddy's keeps a multitude of up to date samples on every clerks desk, with a medical style reading lamp so you can fully evaluate your choices.... which are awesome, awesome, or awesome.  The prices are more than reasonable, and they have a puppy now!!!  Keep up the good work and the great atmosphere!

Came in for the first time a few days ago, I decided I wanted to grab some edibles and flowers since its legal in CA now, why not! When you walk in, you are greeted by the front desk where they ask your name and have you take a seat. The waiting area is covered in amazing art work! (I loved the art work so much I asked who the artist was because I'd love to get some but they said it's all from different patients :/ ... )The whole place had a chill vibe. After about 10 minutes my name was called, Emmett was my budtender. I totally adored him! He asked me a few questions to see what I was looking for, if I've ever had edibles, what type of high I prefer.... After answering his questions, he made a few recommendations. The edibles he recommenced was a Strawberry Lemonade Gummy ...  the taste was amazing but it wasn't as strong as I hoped for. The pack came with 10 gummies 10mg each. Maybe I should have ate more than 1 but since it was my first time trying an edible I didn't want to go overboard. Anyways, after the edibles he showed me a few flowers he thought I might like, finally he found one that smelled great! I would recommend trying Citron if they have it.  I really enjoyed it. Anyways, Emmett was great, his customer service, his personality, his patience and his knowledge was on point. He's definitely a great asset to Buddy's!

Great service each time, super friendly staff, the vibe is clean, organized, you get served in your own little bud bar area, usually no wait, the bud quality is good (favs are top shelf sativas=mango kush, AK, green crack, etc.), prices are lower than Haze's with a huge selection, sometimes you get free stuff, always have a sale going on. The actual place is quirky and fun looking with pink paint, a goat, lots of colors...

Very professional. They have a great selection with microscope lamps to see the flowers. Everyone I have talked to is very educational and they have specials all the time!

Buddy's is a premier cannabis club in San Jose there selection of buds are of the highest quality I'm pleased ever time I go there the staff is great and knowledgeable to boot love there set up inside very welcoming a huge plus to me also is the speed at which the staff Processes the recommendation papers lightning speed. Hello my name is alan and the fact is thus place brings back many memories about smoking and getting buy i enjoy it and will continue going there until i stop smoking will see how long that last.

This place feels super safe with the outside gate for the parking lot, and the security guard out front. They also take you back to a personal desk to choose your flower without feeling rushed by other customers wanting to get their order in. Their printed out menus help choosing what you want a lot faster and overall easier. Their product is pretty much some of the best I've had in San Jose. My new go to dispensary!

The first time was ok. The second time I went I spent $47. They charged me twice. I called them the next day and they said I had to go back to show my physical card...and they had put a note in my account that they did indeed charge me twice. I was so annoyed. I went back and the manager asked me for the card, my ID, AND PROOF THAT THERE WAS TWO CHARGES ON MY BANK ACCOUNT, REALLY? They had a note in my account.... he was rude and acting like I was a bother. Hey, I was charged twice because your employees are nit trained correctly or your equipment sucks... Not going back.

This place is pretty awesome. There is a really cute puppy that is super playful and is fun to hang out with in the waiting area. Everyone is friendly and give good recommendations. Weed here is awesome and there are good deals and the 7 gram deals are still good strains and good bang for your buck.

Best quality stuff. Their new location is even farther than the old place but I still make my drive up here cuz the people are awesome. Highly recommend!!

Came here on New Years  Eve l. But I would give them a 4.5 cuz my wait time in the lobby to be called back. I was probably waiting 30-45 mins until I was seen. The front desk lady was very nice. Their lobby isn't anything too special but a bunch of chairs, some couches and you can see in the back room where you purchase your medicine. It's decided by like w see through sparkly divider. Anyways a young lady ended up being my bud tender, can't remember my name but she was nice. I already knew what I wanted to get cuz I looked at their update menu. I got a good deal of a quarter. Their 7gram deal for $70 and got cookie frost which was very good. Buddy's is close to my house now. When I used to live in Santa Clara area it was close there as well but I never went their for some reason. I will def be come back here. Maybe on a non holiday their lines won't be too hectic. I rate this place a 4.5 just for the wait. But to come and think about it...I think this is the only collective I've been to where we can chill on chairs or couches and wait to be call and use our cell phones but no picture. Go check them out! So really they deserve the five star because of a great first experience, was able to use my card, good medicine, nice staff, chill lobby. Will def be back!

Great setup with very personalized 1 on 1 assistance. From the security person's greeting to the budtender session, this was an exceptional experience as a new patient. The product was top-shelf, clean, professionally handled with very knowledgeable staff. I would recommend checking out Buddies for your medicinal needs.

My boyfriend has been coming to Buddy's for quite sometime. Their new facility is much closer to home, and easier parking than their previous location off of Stevens Creek. The prices are up there but the quality never ceases to fail. The staff is friendly and their promotions/deals are really great! The AK-47 here is one of their best strains that we recommend. Along with Green Mango, Jamaicans Lamb Bread, and The Kraken are some of our favorites. Buddy's is truly a superb facility for quality buds.

I have been going to this Cannabis Club for a while now, I really appreciate their ability to maintain professionalism while still offering a friendly atmosphere! Their management is top notch!

I've been a patient at Buddy's for a few months and have always but satisfied with the atmosphere, product(s), and staff! The employees are always extremely helpful and patient -- even when I have a ton of questions and want to see different products. In addition, there's a great ambiance/vibe with fun employees, they have reasonable prices (often with special deals on certain things), and a wide selection so one is bound to find whatever you're looking for/in need of. I would definitely recommend Buddy's!

So I'm a huge fan buddy's and have been a customer since the beginning. However I am growing more and more concerned with the over dryness of their flowers since moving to the new location. I'm not sure if they're still getting use to the growing conditions, but I hope the freshness of their flowers go back to the same overall high quality as before. There is still hope.

I received one on one personal help and guidance for my first time there. Was buying CBD products for pain relief after a surgery and one for aiding in sleep at night. Extremely knowledgeable and Javier made things so easy!!

Best place on earth to get good quality meds.  The top shelf meds are a little pricey but not by much compared to other clubs but here you will know where that extra $5 went! They also have really good stuff they don't label as top shelf and that is probably is the same price as other clubs top shelf but here their standards are so high that it could easily be confused with top shelf stuff. The only thing bad I could say would be that the edibles are a little bit more here. I could go to another dispensary and find kiva bars or green hornets for a little bit cheaper but not by much. But really, they have the best flowers in the bay and the staff are really cool. The flowers are ridiculously awesomely face melting chit.

Buddy's has the best edibles with a price that can't be beat. Thank you for always having good customer service and making my transactions quick and easy.

I have been a patient here since we were all in Mountain View cooking burgers in the parking lot. Buddy's is the only dispensary left in the area that still has a '60's dorm-room vibe, with its visuals, art, and above all the best sativas in the area. The staff is first rate and during a recent visit Mac was able to get what I came for directly from the vendor, who was there at the right time. I'm a cartridge guy and they have the two best bang for buck cart brands, in my estimation, the Honey Vape Jack Herer and Blue Dream, and the Gold Drop Haze family (Hawaiian, Mango, etc.) And for flower connoisseurs, you must try the Durban Poison and Neville's Haze, two of the most (justly) famous world-class sativas. These are not that easy to grow, especially in commercial quantities, so my hat is off to them for keeping the genetics alive. And I love the goat mascot. Remember, no goats, no glory.

This place is horrible!!! I came here for the first time to get my medicine. It took them a really long time to check me in although this place was empty. I got  2 oil cartridges and left after about 45 min. When I left this place i tried both cartridges and of course both of them didn't work. I came back to this place 20 min later with my concern. I told them guys I am not from the area and can't come back here every time to switch these cartridges so please refund my $. At this point the manager came out, stoned out of his mind and sad no we don't give refunds. So they gave me other 2 cartridges. I wanted to try them so I won't go back and forth.  Manager sad no you can't try it.  I went out side, sat in my car to try these cartridges. One was good the other one didn't work again. I went back there to switch the cartridge that didn't work. At this point manager and security opened the door for me and sad that basically they r not going to change nothing and I can't come back to this club because I tried the cartridge in my car.  Anyway horrible club, overpriced, staff members are not friendly to say the least. I will make sure that this club will be shot down asap. I filled all papers with my attorney and city of San Jose.

Med men   San Jose Is very overpriced on their marijuana. It's not good quality at all for the price I would not recommend going to this place,  there's many other places in San Jose that give better discounts and also have better quality marijuana. Try at your own risk.

Best dispensary experience I've ever had thanks to Mikey and Katie. I just got out the store and had to write this review because the experience I just had at this shop was TOP NOTCH. I came in because I googled "Best edibles near me" and lo and behold the #1 result was MedMen. I came in and everyone was so welcoming, like I was home. I had the pleasure of having Mikey and Katie assist me with my purchase. They gave me a tour of the store and gave me great info on all the varieties of flower, cartridges, and especially edibles they had. I bought some weed infused corn nuts amongst other edibles but what really surprised me was the miscellaneous weed infused items they have. They got tea packets, lotion, virgin cooking oil, suppositories (Mikey you told me you'd try on if I left a review lol), bath bombs, hella thangs! I'm definitely coming back here. If you're looking for a dope spot with dope people I definitely recommend. MedMen, the Apple store of weed

Medmen are outright crooks with outright systems to cheat people. Ordered yesterday for delivery today. Checked out with ~$67 total - $5 credit points = ~$62. At my door they wanted over $100. Nothing was at their sale price. Driver calls the store & says she's fixing everything & then wants $79. We can't see on her screen because they only list price WITH excess tax & then cumulatively add the other taxes combined with other products (so it does not show what they charge you for the item)!!! = I refused the order.Prior delivery from them was also wrong $ amount but at least they fixed it that time because I still had the checkout screen (this time it signed itself out).The driver was a very nice lady. Not her fault that Medmen is a fraudulent shady store that gives a bad name to cannabis business.Everyone: check your receipts carefully at too many San Jose dispensaries. Do not go to Medmen.

So unfort I didn't have the best experience with this girl Mariko. I came in to see what I can buy for this guy that I'm dating and since I don't personally smoke or partake in edibles I feel like she was very rude to me. You would think ppl that work with weed are hella chill but she wasn't. She also didn't seem COVID conscious so that made me feel very unsettled and I'm now wondering what precautions this business is taking as a whole to ensure the safety of all their customers. Do better.

2 stars cuz the service was great but prices were off the hook. I paid 75 for a half gram cartridge thinking it was a full gram for that price.

Been to a bunch of dispensaries throughout the years. Most have been a pleasant experience. But this one was by far the most! I always pay attention to how patient the employees are, especially with the ton of questions I tend to have about trying different products. Jayden was extremely patient and super knowledgeable about all the products. He explained into detail what specific products and strains should do and what I can expect.
