I'm only giving this place a 2 stars because the girls at the front desk were very nice .. now let's talk behind the door .. The staff that works the counter are very rude .. they need some customer service training !!!

One of my favorite dispensaries in the Bay Area. The only thing I can complain about is the parking lot, too small and hard to get out of. And that they ran out of True OG!! BRING BACK TRUE OG!!The prices here are pretty unbelievable. They always have amazing specials $25, $30 & $35 eighths. You would think at such low prices the quality would match. You'd be very wrong. Quality of flower is super . Customer service is never lacking. Also their in house King Kline cartridges are the best of its kind. $25 for a .5gram ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? Love this place and I bet you will too!

Awesome! Awesome!Came in this morning looking for a cartridge suitable for my needs.You see I am a discreet smoker in public so I like the "vape" option if you will, so I picked up a lambs bread cartridge etc... This is where the Manager steps in.I can say his service was what I will expected from the service they provide here. - had made my day simple. Service was friendly did not hesitate to take care of a customer. Thanks to them both! - - I do prefer the trees here I think the price is fair. (Still a bit pricey) Overall you can't beat the Customer service given here. Good job!Thanks

Descrimibation against mentality disabled. My friend went in with the online ad and they said they would not honor it. My friend is mentally disabled and they treated him like a second class citizen. Not cool!! You can be caring with your words.

It's been awhile since I've showed up at any weed Dispensary and yes, this is always my pick.  The people here are always nice and helpful. Much a friendly environment.

The deals are pretty good but most of the male cashiers have 0 energy in them. They will sit there and just look at you. Won't offer any deals or anything. And they expect you to know the menu when you literally just had 6 seconds to look at it. Don't try looking at the menu in front of them they will be impatient and try to rush you into passing up the small printed cheaper deals. Last guy gave me an attitude after he asked me if that was all and I ordered an additional item. He says "THIS TOO?!" then sighs and gets it, does the transaction. No eye contact and says nothing. I refuse to return because I would end up yanking his skinny ass over the counter. The girls are super nice though.

Went to this spot for the 1st time and the old lady at the front desk had a fit because we were new and had to sign up. It was 8:41. Waited outside for ten minutes before security let us in. She gave my friend and I attitude and tried to turn us away until another employee came out. She then asked for my friends I'd and slammed then copier to scan his I'd. The other lady tried to help me but I told her it's fine. If it's that much of a hassle I'll just leave. Not that hard to find kind people to let you into a weed shop. 11/23/20

I have been coming here for more than two years because of the prices and quality of product. Today was my last time going there. Their improvements have included raising their prices and having less specials. Now their prices are in line with everyone else's.    Adios CA.

Come here every now and then. They sometimes have $6 dollar grams that are fire not some boo boo like other spots. Haven't come across a strain that's weak so far.  They for the best prices in the area, legit meds, friendly folks.

I would give no stars to this place but you don't have that choice. I came in use my ATM was told I didn't have enough funds went to my other account withdrew the cash, paid cash then when i got home and realized my first account was cleaned out and I will not receive my cash back don't patronize this establishment

This is by far the WORST club my boyfriend and I have been to. (We'd give it less than one star if we could.) We love going to Haze that's just down the street around the corner when we saw this place and had decided to stop by last week. Worst mistake. The full gram of this Mango tasting shit was absolutely horrible. Tasted burnt and nasty, and for the both of us, it felt like it makes us Sober with every puff. So we just came back to try to get a refund or something, and they completely declined it! Only exchanges available, even though we still had the paper bag AND the receipt they had given us. (Was also irritating that the guy that helped us just laughed about it. It's not a fucking joke, take our business seriously or we're not coming back.) Which we won't be.

I've been coming to this place for a while now. always great pricing from low to high . staff is really cool and parking kinda sucks but it's worth coming

Been going to this club for a good min, mostly bcuz of the deals, never had I seen all of the budtenders & front desk in such a foul mood.  Maybe it's bcuz it was almost closing time?  When I brought it up to my rude ass budtender, shout out to NELSON, he said it was the heat.  Really???  Get a damn AC.  Eye've had some good budtenders & the 1 that helped that nite (or should Eye say didn't) is usually pretty decent, but not that night (Fri 8/3), he was condescending.  We spend too much damn money to be getting SHITTY treatment.  You'd think working there they'd be more chilled out.  Gonna hit up different clubs for now, giving this 1 a break, hopefully they can train their employees in the meantime or hire new personnel.  And Eye still left then a tip, shouldn't have.  The guy with the long curly hair, don't know his name is also a condescending asshole, not just that nite, a few months back a friend of mine was her 1st time there & he was just on 1.  Ever since then, Eye haven't had the displeasure of him tending to me, good thing cuz Eye would have asked for someone else.  If Eye knew your name, Eye'd shout you out also.

Drove all the way from Fremont was recommended by friends made it at 8:46 02/23/2017 they told me they can not assist me because they were just too lazy! The two girls in front were very disrespectful and unprofessional.I was ready to spend money but I guess they were not interested

I watch this menu but they're not supporting the medical patients needs like they used to. No 100mg thc capsules (abx) and no 100mg thc beverages (Dixie sweet tea, fruit Cannaquenchers). Just fluff for the recreational users. Bummer....

This place is awesome! The place is clean and professional.  The staff is very welcoming and helpful.  I went in not knowing what I wanted or how to even go about ordering it and Salina got me set up with exactly what I wanted.  Like she read my mind lol.  Thanks CA Collective.

Great service and great deals. Taxes are included ad the staff is very friendly and also knowledgeable. They usually have deals every week on different products. ATM machine in building and they take debit cards currently.

this dispensary used to be patient to patient. what do i have to say about this place. they have some of the most garbage meds i have ever bought from a club. straight up pretendo. wasted my money to buy meds that basically didnt do much. the display stuff looks ok but when you try the packaged stuff it sucks. dont waste your money here. there are plenty of other better dispensaries around sj.

I personally love it here. Great customer service all around. I'm not sure if he was the receptionist or if the employees rotate, but Westley was helping me fill out the paperwork and he was such a sweetheart!!!! He ensured me any of the employees will be happy to help me in the other room and they did. Very professional, upbeat and again, just overall amazing. I will continue coming here, that's for sure! :)

I happen to really like this place, environment is great people are awesome, always welcoming... everything is great.. if someone has an issue with this place or anyone it must be who you are, I've never been treated wrong or felt bad, always a pleasure many laughs and smiles.. I recommend this place, I'd say don't listen to any negative post and go find out for your self, you will leave satisfied. . I promis

I'm a patient and a vendor. I had the mispleasure of dealing with this collective's manager Tommy today. He didn't want to see my products, and didn't care what I was vending, just said multiple times that they don't need flower or concentrate. I told him I don't vend flowers or concentrates, but he just repeated the line. I am used to rejection as a vendor but haven't dealt with someone so dismissive or insulting before. I've been to hundreds of collectives, I built a medical cannabis collective in San Jose, and have been involved in the industry for several years. I can't remember having a worse experience with an individual in all my time in the industry. Tommy is a mess. If he isn't an owner, or even if he is related to the owner, I would re-consider his position in this club. He is not good for your business. However, the intake specialists up front were very pleasant. Overall this club is reminiscent of the divey 2nd floor clubs I've been to in North Hollywood or Van Nuys.

Great for San JoseI always appreciate good pricing, good customer service and honest care for me as a customer and patient. CA has been consistent and during the pandemic they continually step up. They always give me great attention, respect and care. You can tell they work hard to get the right product for everyone and always friendly. With some of the best pricing and selection in all ranges in San Jose I highly recommend CA Collective. They are doing a wonderful job and deserve your business.Try them as soon as you can!

This place has slowly gone to shit; they do not accept debit card anymore, they do not have their previous deals on bud/flower (5g bundlets), and the customer service is disgusting and lethargic at times.  Today was my last time entering this dispensary; I went in earlier today and asked for an 8th of flower, as soon as I asked for the 8th, I told him about applying my Veteran discount, which usually is no big deal.  The employee told me it was too late! I haven't even paid or received the bud yet, how in the hell is it to late? He noticed that I got upset and he blamed it on the new "system".  Then he quickly changed his mind and went to go call his supervisor, his supervisor came and applied the discount, he then explained that he didn't want to ask earlier because he didn't want to see the FACE of his supervisor when asking him for a veteran discount.  This dude was so unprofessional and looked like a giant lazy sleezeball. I will not longer be coming back here. I use to come because of the acceptance of debit card and their great deals, now this place has turned upside down!

They sell dime bag eighths for more than 30$. Rip Off AF . i literally laughed my fat ass off when i seen there selection then started rolling when i seen the prices. fcg dead . high five ca collective yall made number 17 on the List of best dispensary in San Jose. Fix your customer service ( stop hiring v well known bops ) & invest in some better brands cause yall price gouge the Shwamm Fr . . im still lmffao

Really nice staff but it was TOO LOUD. I couldn't hear what anyone was saying. People talking loudly + echo = poor experience. I made my purchase and left quickly.

This should be 5 stars it is on weed maps and it should have a good two here too . My go to spot in San Jose ! Good atmosphere, good house cannabis !  Usually come I got there sativa half oz special which are pretty fair price considering everything is priced after tax ! The bud tender I believe Estevan was a great help and super helpful ! Great vibes over all .

First time coming here and I had the worst service I've ever had in my life.. My friend and I are new customers waiting in line and it was just us 30min before closing. At 8:40pm we were seen but they told us they stoped taking new customers at 8:40pm and the lady behind the counter unprofessionally expressed that she can't take us and gave a bunch of excuses why they couldn't take us which they close at 9 and had 20min to spare. After awhile another employee said that they could take us but at the point we didn't want there seen. I am not new to dispensaries and well could have been assisted in ten minutes

Security guard working tonight was acting up and said he didn't feel like doing his job. So I left. No reason to spend my money here if I'm going to be disrespected before I even walk in the building

Been coming here for years. Good prices and good products but the customer service is horrible. Went in today ask for a 4pk pre rolls but the bud tender gave me a single pre roll. Didn't noticed til I got in my car. So I go back inside literally mins after. Just to exchange it for what I wanted and I'll pay the difference. I understand all sales are final. But when it's YOUR fault. It should be a exception. I know I asked for a 4pk for a fact. But they made it seem like it was my fault and there's nothing they can do. Not even a apology was made at the very least. Just blamed everything on me. I spend money here at least take care of your returning clients. Not everyone is rude but most of the staff is very unprofessional and clearly don't know what they're doing. Can't even get a order right smfh

You know, I must say, i rarely hit Collectives but when I do, it is CA Collective. The reason behind it is Johnny. Johnny is superior with his customer service. The Clones at this club are amazing, the best part, affordable. They keep it true to the old school prices and dont raise the price like every single other club. They share their success with us growers by providing Cup Winning strains for us to choose from. I have had major success with their Bay 11 clones and also their GDP clones over the past few years. This round, Johnny recommended Med-USA. He was responsive and made my purchase as good as the rest. Not to mention, $12 per clone but triple the size of a $24 clone at the other collectives. You cannot beat it. I bought a sample gram of Med-USA and it is fantastic. In fact, my girlfriend is asleep on the couch. I look forward to growing this strain this year!! I was bummed that there were no Bay 11 or Grandaddy Purple clones available but Johnny had seeds! I am maxed out this year but excited to grow the Bay-11 again next year, i grew it years ago and it was amazing.Johnny, thank you bro. YOU are the reason I keep coming back for grow season!!

This is one tough yelp review because this is my first time inside a Collective/clinic/dispensary. Came here out of convenience, default, with that said I think this place is ok. Going with a 3.5 to be fair for the customer service and security protocols.   I am not a smoker, don't smoke weed or whatever. I have smoked for fun long time ago, but this place is just ok because it's just really small and loud as heck. I came in looking for Kiva gummies and the product is the same as a competitor, I was looking for something fruity and chewy not a chocolate or oil.  The 1st time buyer discount is here 10% while at other clinics are %30, didn't mind since this was closer to where I was.After I waited at the door for about 5 mins, check in registered 5 mins and picked my product another 5 min, something like that. It was all pretty safe, convenient and stress free. No pun intended. The place offers a lot of edibles and other medical marijuana products, plexi- glass every where, security buzz in, front desk separate from the main show room.  Customer service is great, very helpful and enthusiastic about their work from the security checkpoint, front desk and sales people or whatever. -The minuses are that they add a 3$ fee for cards, small %10 discount and higher price point for edible. The place is so f-g loud like I don't get it, the music is blasting like a damn club. WTF? hahaAll in all I had a great experience but I don't see myself coming back as competition is soaring with confidence these days! Thank you so much! Great local dispensary. There in house supply is awesome. Tax built into price which I love. Supply sometimes limited and can sell out quickly so it's not always reliable you to decide in advance based on the online menu.

Estevan hooked me up! Great customer service! As always! He helped me find a great sativa and hooked me with the Labor Day sale for a new plug play! Always my go to place!

I would definitely recommend asking for Estevan! He was very friendly and easy to communicate with and was good at explaining all my questions I had for him. I felt very comfortable being assisted there and Very happy with my choices of purchase. Definitely would recommend going there if you’re looking to buy any type of clones or bud and much more.
