My 40 year old son asked me if I had ever been to a dispensary.  My yes answer was in reference to a sick call dispensary.  Was I surprised to find that this was a shop selling all form of marijuana "medicinals"  in many forms.Quite a surprise to find that there are many by products of the "get a buzz on" marijuana that are not the hallucinating kind.  My wife has had trouble sleeping and that is what prompted this dispensary visit. We were greeted by sales person/consultant who really knew her stuff.  Time for me to go to school.  Focused on the issue of sleep, we were shown inhalers, teas and pills, all of which were devoid of THC, the active ingredient in the "let's get high" form of marijuana.  I bought a number of non-toxic items and will say that they were pretty expensive, but if they worked...OK.  And...I got a 10% veteran discount. Amazing. And yes, there were many forms of the toxic variety.  And there was a lounge in the back where you could imbibe the product.  Fascinating!  And all of this was in a clean, neatly organized, comfortable, professional shop.  This was not the hippie land of the 1970s.I did learn a lot and left very impressed with what is going on is marijuana land.  If you have the opportunity, drop by one of these places to check them out.  Only in the states with legalized marijuana will you find the toxic stuff, otherwise only the non-toxic stuff is sold.  We have a lot of seniors that are using the non-toxic stuff for aches, pains and sleep.  There is much to learn about this.  Check out this rather new aspect of our culture.

Never had any problems until this new security guard showed up. I come to this dispensary all the time and the other guards are super accommodating and nice. This blonde dude is getting on my nerves. Unfortunately, this is the closest dispo to my house, but if u can, take ur business elsewhere fr

My mother doesn't have a yelp but she wanted me to write a review for a guy that helped her last night. She says, I want to thank Chris for taking the time to help answer all my questions and choose the right products for me! He was so nice and helpful and I felt so bad for taking 15 minutes after he was supposed to be off to help me! He said it was no problem at all and asked for a Yelp review so here it is! Thanks for the great service always!Mrs. ZermenoThanks again Chris she really needed the help we appreciate your kindness..

Two years ago I got into a beef with a worker who shoved me and told me to take off my hoodie. Two years later they still want to continue to punish me for something their worker incited. Their prices are much higher, selection much weaker, than the place I've since found - but I only live a few blocks from this place and would love to walk to get medicine. I stayed way for two years so they could chill out. They're snobbish corporate sellouts, not community-minded weed dealers. Go to BASA or The Apothecarium. Real people who get it.

I got banned for asking for assistance. I was not rude. But the girl I approached was apparently in a bad mood.  That is unfair. I found out when I came back. She wrote that I was  a "wild customer"... basically they can ban you and write everything they want even if that is not true. How else can I rate this place

Basically all the dispensaries carry the same brands so the value of a place is really all about the customer service and strain knowledge of the team. Harley does a fantastic job with all of that. His knowledge about various products is extensive and his patience in guiding you to the right product is extremely appreciated.

I've been coming to Urbana since they were known as Harvest and all I can say is that it would be very hard for me to be swayed to shop elsewhere. From the product to customer service, and more than that the in-person (and now online) experience is incredible. Over the years I have come to learn and love who their team consultants are and have to give a very big shoutout to Farhan, who without a doubt has helped me and my pup over the entire time I've been coming to Urbana. Farhan helped me discover @VetCBD which has helped my K9 enormously; he has been so patient, gracious and kind in better educating me on how to best care for the needs of myself and my pup through is knowledge of plant medicine and product and with his  incredible customer service. Every visit feels like seeing a good friend! Can't say enough about this place! If you haven't already - also say hi to Javier who like Farhan, is incredible kind and gracious! Had to give my favorite shop a shoutout! Stay well and I hope this helps all!

The holidays are about kindness and good will towards all. This spirit lives well at Urbana SF @Geary, the neighborhood herb shop. Today (12/9), I stopped by to pick up a cartridge pen and battery when a friendly and helpful face politely asked to assist me. Jessica M. went above and beyond to help me. I very much appreciate her time and effort, also shout out to the manager. It was not my first visit to Urbana-Geary  and it definitely will not be my last. #supportsfbuainesses

This is the closest clinic to where I live, and I love it. It's a little pricy but there's a huge selection and they have a really awesome staff. (Shout out to the guy that checks the IDs w/ the cane, I never caught your name but you rock). The smoking lounge has just recently opened back up, and everyone there is super happy to have anyone there.

What can I say about the best dispensary in existence that hasn't been said? The staff is friendly, helpful, and educational I've learned more from their staff compared to any other dispensary. A few staffers that will make your day are Megan, Mo, Alexis, Sam, Pedro, Farhan, Harley, and Mike. I've had interactions with all of these employees and honestly they're the main reason I keep coming back. They make me feel more comfortable and welcome than any other staffers. 5 stars isn't that enough they deserve at least 420 stars

Super friendly and personable staff, always. They carry great product lines and are always stocked. Their points system is effective if you're a regular or even an occasional customer. The store has been kept super clean and the staff does a pretty meticulous job at managing the line into the store. My only complaint would be their check in system right now during COVID. It's just not always consistent when I go. I'll order online, get the notification that it's ready for pickup, go get in line outside the store, and then watch other customers walk up and check in at the front of the line to get called in first for their order. I don't understand the priority process; but I've never been in that much of a rush to care.

This a great dispensary to visit. I will drive into the city to come to this placePROS:- staff is really great through the whole experience- you shop like it's a little market. No need to check in one room and then be led into another. It was relaxing this way. - on July 4th they had an event where a packed bong was $1 and free cook out food, snacks, and drinksCONS:- They sell Dosist pens but prices really high. Over $125 for the 200 hit one. Then you also have to pay 25% tax. Damn. In SoCal it was $75 and in Arizona it was $75 with 7.5% tax

I gave them 2 tries as I live nearby. Both times extremely disappointed. I got home, started to break the buds down, they just fall apart like dust. And a bit overpriced but to be fair, it tasted fine and I'm sure the thc levels they claimed it had were accurate as I did get medicated from it, but I am not into dry at all. Maybe some folks like it this way? And as another reviewer wrote, they DO in fact take all your info before you can browse the store, or maybe it's just a select few then?Oh and both times the "doorman" watched me like a hawk and made no bones about letting it be known he was doing so. Shame, they got the brotha trained to "keep an eye" on his own people. Which leads me to believe they quietly want to keep it to white/Asian clientele (like most businesses in this area). That is fine as I'm really trying to cut that type of bs from out of my life.

If you want to spend double the price on product coupled with poor customer service then this is your spot. So many other places in the mission offer same stuff at much lower prices. Don't waste your hard earned money here. Seriously it's not worth it.

I went to Urbana for the first time on Monday to see about a CBD oil to help me sleep. It's been hard with the pandemic and a friend recommended I try it. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable when I came in and asked for assistance. They didn't make me feel dumb and truly asked me important ?'s to lead me to the right CBD tincture. They also were great with masks and hand sanitizer. It was a pleasant and enjoyable experience overall and I will definitely be back. Plus, that tincture works! I've been sleeping like a baby since the day I got it.

Excellent! This was my first time at Urbana and was overwhelmed by the many strains of flower but Gabriel quickly change that. He greeted me with a smile that could be seen through the mask. I told him what type of flower I was looking for and he then proceeded by recommending strains that fit my criteria. He was very knowledgeable about the product and the flower itself. Thank you Gabriel and Urbana!

I saw a product online that piqued my interest, so I went over to the shop to get Urbana's expert advice and knowledge. Tracy helped me find what I was looking for -- she was SO kind and friendly, extremely knowledgeable on the products. She pulled over her coworker, Pedro, to offer some first hand experience with a product. He was also super knowledgeable and personable. There's something about coming into the shop and getting that amazing customer service and support. Thanks guys!!

Had to write another review because this is THE place to go. I stopped by earlier today and had a problem with my purchase. I was super bummed out. Then came Danielle, who completely turned my day around! She was so helpful with everything and truly exceeded my customer service expectation. When I tell you, this is the BEST dispensary in the city, I mean that. Not just for what they have in store, but for the people who work there. Thank you to this amazing team :)

The staff is super friendly and know about the products.  I do not really like eating edibles but Zulma recommended the drink HiFi Hops which is made by Lagunitas and it tastes awesome.   I don't drink alcohol and don't like to smoke around my friends that are not 420 friendly and this allow for the perfect alternative.Thank you very much for the recommendation Zulma. So Hoppy!Senor Lee

Place has done a 180. I love this dispensary. I only have one problem, why would you make Kat wear a mask? She is the exception to the rule IMO. Absolutely stunningly gorgeous AND she seems to have an exceptional personality. Oh and she's tall. This place has it together. They are fast and efficient. They have also increased their flower selection.

Today I found out that reviews to JANE are NOT where to leave them. Yelp and Google from now onI love Urbana drivers' who are knowledgeable, kind, funny, business-like and always helpful.  I want to do a shout out to two of my favourite drivers. Now that doesn't mean all of you aren't smashing but Jackie and Gabriel are the driver extraordinaire in my book. I recently received an email comment from Steve Sukman from Urbana about an earlier comment I made. I don't know what it was but I can't tell if I offended someone. Not knowing Steve, sorry. Having the pleasure of Jackie and Gabriel is enough for now. Perhaps I commented on the low choices for my favourite herb, Sativa. I usually am offered their bottom basement price or something that isn't practical for me. If I need to I'll go to another dispensary but why? I suggest that volume for Sativa can be updated. Or am I the only sativa loving client they have? These are my current thoughts. Keep the edibles coming. They are fabulous .

DO NOT GO HERE. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. The supervisor here is a fascist pig who wants to censor his customers' freedom of free speech. Today I go there to spend more money and when I check in, I'm told there's a flag on my account. Some fascist pig supervisor comes over to me and tells me that last time I was there I wore a "KKK shirt that offended customers and staff." To be clear I am not a KKK member, never have been, never will be. I've been a social justice activist since I could walk. The shirt I was wearing is a MDC shirt, which is a band. MDC= Millions of Dead Cops. The shirt makes a reference to the fact that cops are the KKK since they terrorize, beat, and kill people of color. I explained this to the fascist pig and he said he didn't care and that I wasn't "allowed to wear that shirt there." First of all, if anyone had actually asked me about my shirt while I was there wearing it, they would have known that I'm not a KKK member nor was it a KKK shirt. Instead someone had to tattle-tale on me and cause all this mess, not to mention the fact that they had no idea what my shirt even meant. Add to that, the fascist pig was obnoxious and rude about it, you could tell he liked his little tiny bit of power a bit too much, as he tried to censor what shirts I wear. I've been here many times, spend hundreds each time I go and I've referred many friends there. NOT ANYMORE. I thought people who partake in cannabis are people who think critically and question the system, which MDC does- only part of what makes them an awesome band. Oh and to top it all off, when I set my little basket down because I decided I was done with that place and would not be dropping any money there, two staff harassed me right away to carry a basket! I told them I was leaving and didn't need a basket!! Wow. Do not go here.

So I've been going here for a couple years and there has been a steady decline of shits that they give. The main things that have been ailing this establishment have been customer service, quality of products, and price points. The service at this place used to be fantastic. Everyone seemed quite knowledgeable and if I had questions they would answer with something other than "broooo... it's dank"(actual quote from harvest employeee). They also had a farmers market on Saturdays where they tried to have the community engage with the growers. It was wonderful. Since legalizing they've hired new staff and since they cater to 50 year old single gram buyer who don't know shit, they don't have to know shit about their products either. They run out of the less expensive products extremely fast. And then only have gram containers. It'd be fine if I could get 4 grams and pay the same as the 1/8 price... LIKE I USED TO! But apparently it's because of the packaging costs... lol give me a break. Then I go to purchase.. 3 people working and no one asked for another customer. I walk up to one of the ladies at a register and she's on her phone. I ask if I can purchase something and she says "I didn't ask for the next customer!" I laughed because.. wtf and I said I can stand back in line. She says "If you want them to check you out you can!" Lol again... I say I don't give a shit.. I just want to pay.. So much hostility...The product is now shit since it became legal. They don't grow their own pot so everything in here is dry as hell... like bad. I don't know how long they hold product after it's packaged... but I feel like they've had all their product wayyy to long. I just opened what I bought and it smells like some Bobby brown shit. I went here as a convenience today... won't be doing that again... feel like I wasted money. As far as the price, it reflects their target audience... which is a mid 40 sf yuppy who's never smoked decent pot. It's a genius business model... but that doesn't mean it's not shitty for the consumer. I was a loyal customer for a while but I can't even with this place anymore. We all deserve better

Terrible customer service , the people here make you feel uncomfortable as soon as you walk in. Wasted my time here , did not buy any product. If you look different they will stereo type you. You're also forced to carry a basket. As a business they should have a professional check in and check out. The only way they know if you're "checked" in their location is if you carry around their basket. First & last time visiting.

HorribleManagement. Rude to customers. They lost all my points after spending thousands. I asked to speak to the manger expressed my frustration and he banned me from the store as his apology. Not to mention this location IS ON the block of my owned house. This location is not inclusive and is selective of who they choose to include and not included. This is just a typical scam company that comes in to San Francisco to run up prices for medicinal marijuana and take it from those who need it most. Shop at the Apothecarium, place who supports the community, the ill and doesn't loose your points, not to mention ban you for complaining.

I'm not too knowledgeable about all the terms and percentages used today to evaluate different strains, so I normally tell bud tenders what "feelings" I'm looking for. Due to this, I've been misled to strains that have brought on anxiety & paranoia and that is NOT what I need after a long work week. SO, I count myself extremely lucky to have met the simply terrific Arianna at Urbana. I consulted with her and she picked out 2 products for me- flower for later and a blunt for the walk home. SOLID RECOMMENDATIONS. They worked exactly like she said they would. My walk home was hella euphoric, I even called my mom and I never call my mom. I just went back tonight for a repurchase! Arianna is kind, she knows what she's talking about, she isn't pushy and she actually listens!! This one is On. Top. Of. Her. Shit. A real gem- Thanks girl!!!

I go to many dispensaries in the Bay Area and so far Urbana has become my favorite. Super friendly staff, amazing informative reception from 2 guys at the front today , I believe their  names to be  Moe and Surge. Also I  got help from a lovely lady named Cat who showed me product and explained some stuff about cannabis I hadn't heard before. Lovely people, lovely interior, all around good time.

Don't waste your time.  They want ALL your information before you can ask questions.  Upon entering we clearly stated we had questions but even before that you better not have a purse or wallet cuz they want you to leave it on a chair by an open door?!!? And it STINKS in the store...extremely disappointed,  obviously we left with a negative impression of this business. I'm not surprised people want to go back to making Cannabis illegal again.  It would solve a lot of problems. Is this how merchants conduct business now a days?  Get all their personal  info (why?) and assume potential customers WANT to get ripped off while they rip you off?  Is this Owners and/or staffing problem?

This is my favorite dispensary in SF. Everyone that works there has been super pleasant and helpful. The lounge is a nice space to dip into and I've had some really interesting conversations with other patrons along with the staff. The vibe of this space in entirety has kept me returning along with the Pacific Reserve pre-rolls and quarters! One of the best deals in the city for decent flower. I will say I feel a lot of the other brands and types of products (edibles etc) are over priced compared to other spaces but I just shop around for those if i want them. I don't know if it will return to being a store like space where one can pick the product up themselves after Covid but I did really enjoy that aspect before. Every other dispensary one must ask to see something behind the glass. Thanks for everything Urbana!

First, I walked to this place for half an hour both ways. Then I got there and they didn't have the super silver Haze listed on their web menu.I did find some stuff and they were helpful with helping me find topicals. However, they charged me for a full gram when I only got half a gram of sativa shatter! The cashier was doing weird stuff where she entered my order twice and didn't let me see the receipt before putting it in the bag that they made buy. Also, the topical cream I bought was on sale for 50 but I was still charged the full price of 62.Be careful, check your receipt!Update:Contacted them by email and they wrote back apologizing about the overcharge and offered me a credit for next time so I guess I'll visit them again when I'm back in town.

I have tried over the years to give this place the benefit of the doubt but I am done. They have always been overpriced and the cannabis quality is middle of the road. We went by today only to be told that we had to place our order online. When I went to the website it was asking for me to sign up with my email and create a password etc. We decided to leave and go visit our favorite spot on Divisadero. This is the last time I will bother with this spot.

The first time I came to the location, I checked online for the hours. It said it closed at 9:00 pm which left me half an hour. I arrived at 8:30pm and there's this guy at the door holding it open saying that they are closed. I told him that online it said that it closes at 9pm and that's when he paused and stared at me. Then said that on Wednesdays they close early - mind you it was Friday. So I left thinking that he was a complete jerk considering the tone he gave me and the look - kind of like telling me that I don't belong there. I was getting on a flight the next day and was driving - didn't see the douche from before so I decided to pop in. The guy at the door actually greeted us and held the door. We walk in and the first thing scan your ID. They then hand you a basket so you can go around the store. I already knew I wanted edibles - just wasn't sure which one to get. An employee walking around came to ask us if we needed help and he told us which ones tasted good and had a better lasting effect. Picked our products, waited in line for like three minutes and then checked out. It's better to have cash than to use your card is what I was told at the cash register. I didn't have cash but I'll know for next time. The refrigerated gummies I got were actually yummy. They didn't leave me anxious or paranoid like someo edibles do. It was relaxing and I would definitely purchase. It's a bit pricey but it was my first time coming to a dispensary. I would go back again.

This club is extremely overpriced and overcrowded. Went in for tinctures of cbd. I've tried at least a half dozen different brands of cbd and never had any side effects.I bought the sweet Jane 1:1 cbd tincture and boy was it a waste of money. First time I used it I had a horrible stomachache and thought I just might have eaten something bad. Second time, same results.Avoid Harvest and avoid sweet Jane

I've gone here a handful of times and it's hit or miss. Sometimes they are nice sometimes they are not. Today I went to buy some gummies called district edibles CBD:THC. Then I realized that I had a question about it and I called to ask them about itThe guy who picked up was such a smart a$$ and rude. I asked him, "is it okay to eat these while working?" He says "it's totally up to you my friend. " I mean what if you have no knowledge or you're a newbie of cannabis??? Don't talk to me like I'm stupid. Wtf? Can the answer be more VAGUE THAN THAT?Then I asked the same question AGAIN, in a different way. "Does it have psychoactive effects?"He says "yes it does"Thanks for nothing, you prick. Also, they charge you $2.50 extra if you use a debit card. The guy didn't tell me, if I knew I would have paid cash. Man the workers here suck. You guys seriously have no idea. So pretentious. This will be the last time and I won't recommend my newbie friends to come here anymore. Don't come here if you need help

A while back I purchased a Dosist pen containing a formula (Bliss) to relieve anxiety.  While watching election results last night my anxiety escalated to the point that I decided to break out my Dosist pen.  Sadly, even though there was still a lot of product still in the pen it wouldn't work.  This afternoon I took the pen back in to Urbana to find out what the issue was.  Turns out the battery dies if the device isn't used for awhile and in fact the Dosist pen was redesigned to be rechargeable.  The customer service I received could not have been more FABULOUS!  The sales associate who helped me explained the changes regarding the device and then notified his manager who made an even exchange with the pen for the new (more expensive with twice the product) device!  I was also purchasing a Coca-Cola and because the exchange transaction was taking a while in their system, the manager (a friendly tall, trim young woman) said, "Don't worry about that.  It's on me."  Again, FABULOUS customer service!!!

Soooo disappointed in my experience here. I was really excited to go in there. I'd been wanting to go, as it has a really inviting feeling when you walk by it and looks more like a boutique or a trendy health food store than a dispensary! Our trip started out good! The security guy in front was helpful and informative! Then when you walk in and check in as instructed one of the check in girls was really awkward and needs to work on her customer service. They should have a clear script and should be really upbeat and friendly. Especially considering how fun and festive it looked in there. It was packed too! I was thinking it was going to to be fun and it was not. We left. They need to train their staff better. The other thing I want to point out was that we were ready to buy a disposable vape pen in the front and we went to ask someone which one they recommend and she said they don't sell disposable ones, which we then pointed out that that it looked like they had ones in the front and she said "oh yeah those ones". So we then started to ask if it was cash only and she said accept ATM and credit only. We asked what she meant by ATM and she said debit, which acts as an ATM. Okay, so why not just say that you except debit or credit. Anyways, just sharing my experience there. P.S. the form they hand you in the beginning is optional, not required, in case they forget to mention that to you when you check in.

Due to the extremely high prices on their website, I have avoided going here, figuring what is the point. But while browsing reviews for other dispensaries, one recent review said that Harvest's lower price flower is better quality than most. So I looked on their website today and they had Cherry Chem listed for only $24.90 per 1/8, plus tax. So I decided to go buy some. When I got there, the staff were very nice and the place is unique in that you can touch everything before buying, and shop alone or with an employees help. Since I told them this was my first time, the woman asked what I was looking for and showed me to the flower section. However, the least expensive 1/8 they had was Mango for $35 plus tax. Thats about $20 more per 1/8. They should keep their website more up to date, and offer lower priced items regularly so those of us who are disabled and living on a low fixed income, can actually go to our neighborhood dispensary and afford to buy something!I was shocked that most of their 1/8s were $67. With tax that is over $80. There's seriously no cannabis on this green earth worth that. There's a plateau of just how good it can be, and that can be bought for around $50 1/8 at most places. Being able to look at a bottle on a shelf in a pretty place is not worth the extra charge at all. Let me know if you ever start offering flower for $30 or less per 1/8 that is actually in stock!

Harvest is my weed Lounge of choice , the atmosphere is a mix of classy and speakeasyness. There is a side door to the back where a plethora of pillows await you while you sit at a little cafe stool table , where there is a grinder , joint roller and lighter on its on little wooden rolling tray waiting for you. They will bring you bongs , pipes or joint paper to consume your magic grass. Scotty is the number one cannabis consultant , he has a variety of knowledge on the products and is very helpful in picking out the right magic grass for you

I come here every so often for the lounge. I like smoking with their bongs and playing board games on the couch. The one thing that irks the hell out of me is rude customer service or complete lack of customer service. Every single time I've been here I've been sized up and down, given faces, completely ignored. It's weird. Feels very cold, off, sketch. I will be looking for other dispensaries that actually feel welcoming. Please hire better staff!!

WOW THIS PLACE HAS SO MANY ONE STAR REVIEWS DATING BACK TO 2016 FULL OF THE SAME COMPLAINTS.  AT WHAT POINT ARE YOU GOING TO TAKE ALL OF THIS FEEDBACK AND CREATE A SERVICE THAT CATERS TO YOUR BUYERS?  SO MANY UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS! I usually go to grass roots on post  but I went here last night for the first time since it's in my bfs neighborhood.  I just read a review and pretentious is the word!  I didn't like the vibe here, felt super uncomfortable throughout the whole experience.  I just wanted a preroll and the cheapest one they had was $17.  Pretty steep!  I picked up the purple punch indica and it was poor quality.  Not sure if the grower might have thrown in some juice but it felt like it.  Anyways, I do not recommend hitting up this location, some of the staff and definitely the prices really suck!!  Remember Grass Roots on Post St.

Very knowledgeable staff! I've gone a few times to get products for pain and sleep and they have worked really well and with no bad side effects. The store is located on Geary, easy to find, get to and parking is not too difficult. I only wish I could find Kind Rub there too so that I would not need to go elsewhere. It's the best topical pain reliever I have found. That said, all the products I have used from Harvest have worked really well. I am soooo happy to have a dispensary near my home.

Urbana had a good run going for a few months but once again all good things come to an end. My last experience is prime example of why I take the trip to Mission Organics 30 mins always versus this place which is 5 mins from home. I always call before heading over with a my previous experience of looking at an item on the menu which they say they have in stock wasn't there. I called this time to verify that they had what I was looking for whoever answered the phone didn't even confirm the item or even take a min to look he just simply responded NO we don't. So after that phone call I checked the menu because on both weedmaps and their official website stated they had the item in stock. I called again just clarify because the menu stated it was updated 10 mins ago. And of course they did have the item in stock. Whoever answered the phone the first time was just to lazy to double check.  It's like dude if you hate your job and don't wanna work DONT WORK!  So once again I won't be back from now on I'll be sure to stock up at MO rather than going here. The 30 mins is worth the drive rather than dealing with people with shitty attitudes.

My comments are as much about Urbana (formerly Harvest) as they are about the industry.1.  There is an inconsistency in the following in the industry:- Labeling of strain (e.g. Indica, Sativa, hybrid) - the wine industry has never had that issue- Labeling of THC (and THCa) content (where is the industry on this one?) - the wine industry also has never had that issueThe retailers need to PUSH the producers to uniformilize (new word!) their labeling to contain at least the above data.2.  Depending on who is working that day at Urbana, SOME product can be looked at and smelled (in an open container).   VERY inconsistent.  Set a policy, then follow it.  See?  Simple!  Folks, it is hard to buy a quality wine or a diamond through the packaging.  Urbana, you really want to sell your products?  Make it so your customers can actually know better what they are buying.  Flower that smells nasty likely will taste nasty.  How to know with SO LITTLE information?  Would you choose a mate without a pheromone "test?"3.  It looks like Urbana dumped their promotion of the Nasha line of hash-y products.  Too bad.  Cost or supply issue?4.  For returning customers, if you don't ask for your store credits to be applied they often will not.  Inconsistency of operation.  Store credits should AUTOMATICALLY be applied (unless for some odd reason the customer does not want them then.  ???).5.  Urbana's choice of product is generally good, however without some of the above relevant and helpful data at times it is a crap-shoot as to what you are buying/getting.One more comment about some producers' packaging.  One particular grower uses VERY heavy glass jars and thick plastic lids.  To the producer:  Are you expecting to send your product to Mars?  Are you hoping that the customer will be more impressed with your growables if you use EXCESSIVE packaging?  Your packaging cost also adds to your retail price. To many customers (wherever):  Bring your own bag so you don't have to take home MORE of those hard to open, nasty plastic bags.  California needs to act like a leader to be the leader!  Think!  Think ahead!  Plan!  Then execute!Urbana, you want to be The Best?  Then show us!To All:  Good day and good luck!  Remember, you are what you consume.

This was my first time going to a dispensary in the United States and I have to say it really wasn't that great an experience. Let me start by saying that the two times I was here the staff members were friendly and pretty knowledgable. From the bouncer at the door, to the "check in" staff at the entrance, to the folks on the "floor" there to answer your questions, to the clerks at the check out counter (there's a lot of people working there)- everyone was very friendly. I see some people on here saying they were scolded for handling stuff on the shelves- I picked up quite a few items and inspected them and was not given any hassle. The only thing I was unhappy with in regards to inspecting the product is what I assume is a California state policy that says you can't smell the actual buds before buying. As for their selection and pricing- it's all out of whack. Your college pot dealer had better prices than Harvest. And fresher buds too. There's one small shelf dedicated to flower buds. I bought an eighth ounce of "OG Diablo", which admittedly was their cheapest strain, but you would still expect it to be quality. It wasn't. It was packed almost 2 months ago, stale, and lacked any flavor or aroma. The buds had a few yellowish leafy specs. I tried the "true OG", a more expensive strain. Nothing special there either. It'll cost you about $36 for an 1/8 of their cheapest, stale buds and up and over $65 an 1/8 for the "better" strains. You can't buy flowers by the gram, an 1/8 is the smallest amount you can buy. I remember the cheapest strains in Amsterdam being around 9 euros (a little more than $10) a gram and being amazing. And there wasn't a tedious check in process before entering the stores that required you to carry around a metal basket as proof of "check in" while in the store. In short,  this place is outrageously overpriced and seems to focus more on edibles and oils than actual buds.

I was going to give 2 stars until I ready Tom P's condescending comment below.  "We do not carry any items that are $70 an eighth".  The first 4 strains on their menu are all $69.  After taxes and their debit card BS you're basically paying $80.  You're not helping your business like they hired you to buddy. This place went from my favorite dispensary to my least fave.  Their prices are outrageous and basically double what some of the good delivery places cost.  I can get a quarter for what they charge for eighths, so why the hell would I go back to Harvest?  Do yourself a favor people and find somewhere with reasonably priced stuff.  There are a ton of them!

I started going to this place when it first opened. It was quite good till recreational cannabis was legalized, then they went through some unfortunate growing pains adjusting to the new regulations till eventually they got it right again. I've been a regular ever since. Today I was met with extreme rudeness at the door because my online order wasn't in their system. Although there was no one in line behind me when I got to the door, I was told to move aside and they would deal with me in time. I insisted that I had in fact placed an order online but the person manning the door snapped at me with great hostility saying to me "I'm not going to argue with you." I'm not proud to say I had some choice words for him as I turned and left, but I was upset at how I was treated. They lost a customer who had just place an order of over $300 worth of product. When I got home I called to register my complaint at how rudely I had been treated, but was treated with extreme snark from whomever answered the phone. It may have been the same person, I have no way of knowing. He insisted the problem was a procedural change and my not understanding that they now had a walk up line. I tried several times to explain, no, it's not the system they had in place that I was upset with, it was how I was treated as a customer, and the rudeness I had just experienced. The person on the phone never apologized for the behavior of the door person and was also rude to me with a patronizing tone. When he got really snarky I had had enough and hung up. Too bad, as Urbana close to my home. It may be overpriced, but it's convenient. But I will not be supporting a store that does not respect it's customers. There is competition for this market, and I'll now be using competitors of Urbana for my cannabis purchases. I'm through with Urbana.

I stop in to a dispensary pretty much every trip I make to the Bay Area, so this is probably my 5th or 6th one. It's the only one I feel compelled to write about. Most of these places are dark, warehouse feeling places where even though they are completely legal somehow have an air of being underground. Harvest is a stark contrast - bright and trendy the space feels like a Kiehl's than a dispensary. Also unlike other places, they were well stocked with a huge variety and staffed well with lots of folks to answer questions and make suggestions. I couldn't partake because I was driving that night, but they also have a huge lounge in the back of the store. Also worth mentioning is probably the friendliest retail staff I've ever encountered.

Chill place to vibe or do homework if that's your thing. Came on a Saturday night to pick up some quick weed. However, we ended up staying for a few hours to enjoy the borrowed bongs and entertainment (the football game and someone's awesome playlist). We ended up back at the lounge the next morning because my husband forgot his ID after checking out a bong. So happy we had an excuse to come back. My husband and I brought our laptops and hung out while watching Sunday football. The staff brought out pizza. Need I say more. 5 starsssss

This is the prettiest dispensary I've been in around San Francisco.  It's definitely a pleasant experience to peruse at my leisure and fill a basket without being waited on. When i needed assistance, Kristin was super sweet and really helpful when it came to my questions. She knew her stuff and wasn't pushy and i appreciate that. Best dispensary experience to date. They only sell high quality items so you may find it comparatively higher but totally worth it.

Rude clueless woman at check-in at the front desk, didn't even look up or respond to my hello, since she was too engaged in a personal conversation with another store employee. Friday afternoon in early August, store not very busy. I guess the corporatization of cannabis  means that customers are just cold numbers at places like Harvest?  No need to treat people as individual human beings through simple social niceties?I walked out, there are too many other friendly dispensaries in San Francisco w great welcoming vibes to put up w the attitude at this place... although it is the only one as yet out in the western Avenues.Recommendation: take your business elsewhere.

The first visit was smooth enough although their prices are quite high. However, the kept my ID at checkout and engaged me in convo. 2 days later I realized where the ID was and called. They said they had it. I asked if I could just get it the door without waiting in line. He said sure. When I got there, there was no line. I went up to the female who has massive amounts of caked on makeup and attitude and she said I had to move my car. I said I was just picking up my ID that they hadn't returned and it would only take a second (and news alert! I am not supposed to drive without it!). She refused to inquire about my ID until I moved my car (which was on the the other side of the street). She said they could get a fine. I guess customers don't come first. Basically, she held my ID hostage until I moved my car. I then simply yelled the name of the manager who came to the door with the ID. Both the bea***ch and the tall security guard proceeded to insult me and told me not to come back. I guess they didn't like their little power trip over-ridden? LOL. NEVER coming back to this place. I told them as I walked to my car that not me, nor any of my friends would be coming back. And, that reviews matter. You're welcome Urbana! Think about the morons you put at the door.PS. The owner Steve followed up to say they have no record of this event! WTF?  Does that mean they didn't record it??? Wow, great Trump-like lawyer double-talk there Steve. LOL. Ask Garren the manager who HAND DELIVERED my ID to me and to whom I SPOKE ON THE PHONE PRIOR TO VISITING, the tall black security guard and the rude makeup woman at the front door! They were the ones yelling at me as I left! It's not rocket science. But nice try to find a sleazy way to discount what happened. If you are still going to drop the ball and defend terribly rude service, I can text you a screenshot of YOUR phone number and the day/time I called. Garren definitely knew he had an ID that was needing to be returned.I now enjoy seeing NO ONE in your store since the problem obviously starts at the top with Steve. Call them ask for Garren. LOL.

It's a tragedy not just that Hemp Center is no longer in business as it was a model of inclusivity and pricing for all incomes but that it has been replaced by such an obnoxious retailer. As a normal human being and an expert in retail operations on a first visit to Harvest I found the MANDATORY policy that all customers MUST hold a shopping basket  beyond offensive. It turned into a bad experience including a raised voice and menacing motions from security for simply refusing to hold their shopping basket. It is obvious I'm an infirm, old man. That was comepletely uncalled for. It's good thing I'm not black or I might have a broken neck or worse all because I refused to yield to a pushy sales tactic. I recently moved to Laurel Heights. I needed some cannabis. Harvest is close. I should not feel apprehensive about a retail purchase. I called ahead to make sure I would not be first be spoken to like a child then treated like a common thug. After I explained the situation and that I have 10 functional fingers and never purchase more that 3 items at once and do not require a basket to the manager Dominic and asked if I could purchase something without holding said basket I was told no. His excuse that the staff needs to know ' who has been screened ' is such a joke. What pot club lets anyone get to merchandise who has not been screened? None. That an obnoxiously priced retailer puts the oldest and cheapest tactic around to increase items per transaction over the comfort of a now former paying customer is another just plain sad example of how San Francisco has been ruined.  Dominic, If you had just told me not to come for my comfort because you cannot deviate from the offensive basket policy I would have simply not added you to the short list of pot clubs I send 100's of my employers out of town customers to. Since you made no attempt to compensate for my lousy first ( and now last ) experience with Harvest and you talked to me like I'm stupid about pot clubs' entrance policies and the real motivation of the basket policy though I informed you I'm a retail expert I'm going to specifically ask those 100's of stoners a year to spread the word to never buy from Harvest.

They explained what I can expect from some of the products. They helped guide me as a first time user. I felt much more confident in my decision walking out of there. I spend about $50. Stopped by because we were in the neighborhood. The shop is oddly setup; everything is on display yet you can't touch it.  Only the floor staff are allowed to put items in your wire shopping basket (which you must carry a  with you at all times).  With both customers and staff on the floor, it felt unnecessarily crowded. Why not just put the stock behind counters?Like others wrote, prices seem inflated.  I'll continue to go to Sparc on Mission.

This business is clearly taking advantage of the fact being they are the only dispensary on the block. It's sad to see even with weed being legal it's still impossible to get a good deal let alone being over charged. Went in last week and asked about their outdoor, which I ask in every dispensary I go too, including this one, and I've asked before. And so I asked the skinny brotha, trust me if I knew his name I'd blast it, but he knows who he is, him and his folks are going to read this...Anyhow, kinda tall skinny brotha, piercings, beanie, so I ask him, "What's good outdoor?", and he then says to me, "I don't know, I don't even like outdoor". Foreal? Like That!!! So my response was, "I'm not here to really purchase what you like." I finally get the help I needed, but that dude almost made me walk out, Now mind you this guy has always been short with me, but this time he went a little over. So I'm not going back, and I really liked what they have, on the outside, although looks obviously can be a facade, and sure some folks are super cool, but that dude...I can see if he was working at McDonald's, but at a dispensary, man show a little love and respect. I never take anything personal, but reading the comments has shown that it's not me and that I'm not the only one who feels this way. Get it together guys! they say that the folks working below reflect the higher ups, and that folks that work for a business/franchise reflect the establishment. I'm a born and raised Frisconian born outta General, so I know how are people act here, but this place made me feel like I was in N.Y. or something. Quite a crowd coming in on a Saturday. A very good selection of items.  Pick up and read everything you want, just not the flowers. Was instructed not to touch the bud containers (need assistance to hand it over to you).  If you are a bud shopper like I, it could be troublesome. You cannot smell or examine the bud before making a selection. They have a no photo policy. Therefore unsure if it'll be ok for me to flip out my phone to research before making a selection.  I feel the workers on the floor isn't very knowledgeable. It could just be the individual that helped my friendIt seems they have a returning customer discount, which is very nice incentive

Ok Harvest I see who you're catering to. As a SF native it is so hard to purchase from this shop. Why? Because their prices are crazy stupid inflated. While other clubs are adjusting to the new laws and prices are fair, Harvest seems to think that if they make their shop look like a hipster boutique shop then people wont mind spending an extra $30-$40 more for the same strain from another shop. First off Harvest has a monopoly on the Richmond district and since they do, don't you think they should be catering to folks of the Richmond district not Pacific Heights elites? Harvest, you will get a lot more business if you start selling your herb at a fair price. I have never even since high school ever paid 65-75$ for an eighth. Not even 50 for some super chronic. Get it right. We don't live in NY. Humboldt county is only 5 hours away, and its better to cater to your community instead of pot smokers who have too much money to know whats right from wrong. Good luck with that Karma.

New year, new laws, new review! This was my go-to neighborhood shop, but the times have changed. The things I loved about this shop have changed, other than David and Elizabeth. They are still A+ representatives of the Harvest that I used to know. I realize that most of these updates are due to the new laws, but the experience has become extremely inconsistent, and for this reason I can not standby the 5-star review that I previously posted. The new laws have destroyed the "ease" of shopping here, which was originally one of the key reasons to come to Harvest. The line here has become a constant, whether it's the line to purchase, or the line to get in. Looking forward to when things stabilize and I can put my review back to 5 stars!

This place is terrible. Avoid at all costs. There are so many great dispensaries in the city unfortunately this is the most convenient for me so I kept returning and I kept getting ripped off. They always seem to find a way to humiliate you.

I am smitten - I wandered in here on 4/20 by accident. I drove by looking for a coffee shop . . . and Harvest was hosting a 4/20 celebration. There was coffee and so much more. My quick stop, was more of a 2 hour layover in the Harvest Lounge. I loved the hands off shopping experience. Beautifully curated selection of cannabis products - I can't speak to the flowers and I am more of an edibles/slave type of girl.  As a CBD user and HUGE proponent their properties, I was very impressed with Harvest's selection. The lounge was rocking a dj, aMazing mocktails, sushi and more. I meet the maker's of many fine products carried here, felt a sense of connection and had a badass 4/20 field trip! Thank you Harvest, I'm glad we met!

They are extremely nice here! Every timeI've come here, it has been nothing but welcoming and happy smiles. They really cater to your needs and give you options for what works best for you. I was being difficult with my order and they went above and beyond to make sure I left with something I was happy with and would enjoy. The sincerity behind their actions is amazing. Hard to see such people these days, but it exists, at harvest. Good products. Good place to socialize. Decent prices. Large variety. Great staff. Very accommodating.

We stopped in here on a Sunday evening. The customer service was awful. This place is different and you don't go to the counter in order to get what you need, it is on shelves like a regular store. I walked up to the counter and was rudely told everything is on the shelf. Ok no problem , but when we went into the lounge it felt like we were bothering the 2 people helping in the back as they were more worried about which sample they would be taking home then helping us first timers there. I would definitely recommend going to Barbary Coast Dispensary rather then here.

harvest on geary has just seen my last visit. since the legalization of cannabis, the average price of 1/8th has gone up no less than $10, and this is before the new state tax is added at the register at 10%. so the display prices don't match what you'll pay and still $10 higher than they used to be. they only had one gram in the store (up at the register, like a little add in at the grocery store), everything else was only measured in 1/8s (no 1/4, no 1/2, etc). the gram was $22. it might've been a gram in june when picked but it doesn't weigh out now, so i didn't even get a full gram. being back the hood clubs, harvest is some bullshit.EDIT: i do not see an ability to reply to the reply to my review, so here it is: you state that the retailer takes the blame - this is because you are passing through every cost to the customer, you are not practicing good business to anyone but your yuppie real estate owner (who has what connection to the compassionate community?), which would be absorbing what is reasonable and writing off what you can rather than gouge your working class neighborhood. move the business to jackson st if that is whom you seek to serve.

Wonder why the reviews are either a 5 star or 1 star for this place? There are a group of girls here that are the absolute worst. I literally could not have been more offended by their customer service. I went in my first time and I had to wait for 30 minutes to actually get in. The two college girls that were working their thought that their unprofessionalism was cute or something.... I asked a couple of questions about cartridges and their answers were so half ass that I could have just looked at the label my self....I live really close by and the interior design is nice so I was really looking forward to going to this place but I am never going back. I would really recommend to the manager to get new staff who are more...."people oriented" and knowledgable.  A couple of other friends went once and never went back.Oh, and they didn't give me a discount for being a first time patient. So lame.

This review is extremely limited in scope. A single encounter on July 21, 2018. Remember, it's only one transaction, so weigh it in balance with everything else you know: I had noted for at least a week a really nice deal -- $27.70 for an eighth of Jack Herrer flower. Wonderful. I drove up from Redwood City (a 65-mile round trip) and battled the 19th Avenue closure on a Saturday (tip: Laguna Honda is the best work-around still). After finally finding parking and hoofing it a couple blocks, I get to Harvest, which is a modest storefront. People are friendly enough. I give my ID and am handed a wire shopping basket. Flower on the left, processed product on the right. OK. The rub: I asked for the budtender for the Jack Herer eighth at $27.70. "We haven't had that for at least a couple weeks now." (Remember, this is a place notorious for $60+ eighths.) "Oh, well, it's still advertised on your Web site right this moment. That's why I drove up from Redwood City." "Sorry but ... we have these other wonderful selections that are all pretty good choices for someone looking for a sativa hybrid." (He specifically mentions three hybrids that are priced NORTH of $60 an eighth.) "Look, I drove up for that Jack Herer. And you say that news is a few weeks old? I trusted your Web site's menu." Beware the bait and switch. The fact I was looking at a fruitless 70 mile round trip in crawling traffic didn't matter. I wasn't going to let these guys jack me up with $60+ eighths. I and I don't play dat way, mon. Ethically shaky operation based on this one very negative experience. I would be very wary of any "bargain" they advertise in the future.

Had a very bad experience here with the security guard. The first time I went to this store, I was smoking more than 20 feet from the building, and the security guard asked me to move away some more. As a smoker, I am used to getting shooed away by store owners, so I moved farther down. When I was done, and tried to enter the store, the security guard gave me so much attitude, rolled his eyes at me and then tried to tell me I was required to be 50 feet from the building. He even blocked the entrance. He finally did let me in. However, I would expect anyone working security at a dispensary would know the laws and regulations regarding cigarettes. The worst part is that every time I come back, I get nothing but nasty attitude from this guard. I stopped going. They dont have good prices, but I would rather pay 50% more the take another step in that store. Very hostile and arrogant security guards.

Staff was hands off unless I had a question (I find it extremely overwhelming when all 10 bud tenders in a spot ask me if I need help within a 5 minute period but I get it) and when I did have a question they were super helpful. Got a few prerolls and some mellows. The prerolls were fire and the mellows were buy one get one for $1 and very much so a good deal. We hung out in their lounge in the back for a while and just enjoyed the spot. Definitely worth checking out. Seems like you can come and stay for the whole day or be in and out in 5 minutes, whichever you prefer!

There's so many great things about Harvest it's hard to remember them all.First, the space is more hands on than any dispensary I've been to before since all products are on the sales floor, not inaccessible behind a counter. Because of that, the whole feeling is a lot more relaxed since you don't have someone waiting anxiously for you to decide what you want. That said, staff is readily available and always have good input. The space is clean, organized, easy to navigate. The flower is always incredibly fresh, clearly labeled with all the information you could possibly want, and only sourced from local quality farms. They host an amazing farmers market on Saturdays, full of samples and limited-edition, rare, or new product with very kind and informative folks at each booth. They even have a VIP program that allows you access to a special room with nice seating, great sound system, a nice big screen TV where you're allowed to partake and chill or work or read--whatever you feel like.Glad to see this business treating their product and their clients with equal respect. I do hope to see this more trusting setting catch on in the dispensary world.

Again, he slammed the phone down..I find his behaviour to have been geriatric abuse! Sorry..you need a change in Human Resources...look below..I went back one more time...   Updated...8/26/2018...you folks need to look at your recent reviews..all the same issues..no way to improve any of this...originally, I had high hopes for this place..staff rude, product the same as everywhere else..but more limited..no delivery, haughty..look away f you have a question..it's just doesn't make sense that you cannot improve this situation..the environment and location had so much potential?.

Expensive and awkward process. You are not allowed to touch the flower but everything else you can pick up and put in your shopping basket. I've been in dispensaries in Colorado and California, and it's the wait in line for a budtender experience in all of them. The experience at Harvest is what you would have going into a retail gourmet store, you can peruse the inventory at your leisure and not be rushed through so that the person waiting in line can get their products. My first experience at a dispensary was asking some questions but rushing through because there were people waiting behind me, so I didn't get as much information as I wanted. At Harvest I can look around and then if I have questions I can ask one of the salespeople on the floor. I am able to take the product off the shelf look at the ingredients as long as I wanted and not feel rushed. There will always be dispensaries with budtenders and then there will be Harvests. Pricing is competitive on the edibles and tinctures. I found a nice selection in tinctures in both price and efficacy. The design of the store is minimalist and allows the product to hold court. Harvest is a place to go when you want to see new product lines, one of my favorite is FlourChild, a wonderful line of salves. And it was great to see quite a few lines that are produced by women, Auntie Dolores, FlourChild, Yummi Karma and more.I highly recommend this dispensary for the well versed cliental who want to see the new lines and have a different experience. I have on my list both one on one budtenders and now Harvest, and just like retail clothing stores, I just don't shop at one, I choose the store for the purpose I need at the moment. As this country moves forward in adult use we will see more outlets like Harvest, because we are about innovation, just like a house, we can build on the foundation of the dispensary and make it into many rooms that serve different purposes.

Like the others who recognize cannabis culture, I too badly wanted to like this place.  The previous business here would be packed mid-afternoons.  I was hoping for the same social experience and product quality. What a let down. The reality:  You walk in.  You are the only customer there.  The ignorant staff descend on you like dead meat and "recommend" the most expensive products.  It is like being assisted by a teenager working at a retail mall kiosk.Based on my last 5 visits, each time I thought to myself.  1.) Did the investors really read the business plan? 2.) What is with the $5 increment and $2.50 bank transaction fee?  3.) Why do 1/2 the 'flowers' look identical? [I asked the sales agent yesterday and they declined to answer.] 4.) Why is everything so expensive? My advise.  Shop downtown, stock up, and pay 30-40% less, get the discounts others offer, and do without the fees.  Hopefully this place goes under sooner than later.  [ps...out of 1 of 7 items I only like the peppermint patty, so I am done here.]

Tried to shop some edibles; but at the door the security ask me for my DL which was OK to verify my age. If FB couldn't secure my personal information what guarantee me  these folks will keep my personal information secure. Everyone at Harvest  is really helpful and friendly. The door person, Robert, really set the chill tone when I first came in. The man who answered my questions about their line of thc teas helped me find the right dose. I come in for edibles and would highly recommend the medicated chips. Affordable and delicious! Also the Matcha green tea white chocolate bars are bomb.com. The lounge in the back is awesome if you're trying to hang out. Has a downtown expensive bar feel. Love Harvest!

The best in the city.  The door man I always run into, where my journey starts (sorry I totally cannot remember your name, larger black guy in his.. 30s?) is THE MAN. I love this guy. Always funny, always says something where I walk in smiling and in the zone. You get in and check in is SO EASY - you are just browsing like a shop - totally doesn't have the dispensary feel of waiting in a line for a guy to weigh stuff out, I love it. Everything is preweighed, you just grab and check out. My favorite checkout experience by far (apple pay would be cool - i know, I'm so SF).The actual products are great too, prices are great. Im sure its coming, but can't wait to use an Amex at checkout instead of the Debit situation. :Pbut yeah - easily the best place for mmi patients in the entire city by a long shot. Formula is executed perfectly. I live half the year in Amsterdam and have been to Colorado, other legal places - somehow they even beat most of those places that have had years to work it out.WELL DONE Y'ALL!

I feel lucky to have such a nice addition to our neighborhood. A warm welcome at the entrance, my favorite new products and fantastic ambiance in the private lounge. Harvest also curates informative events, cannabis mixers and hosts a weekly Farmer's Markets for their favorite products. Great exposure for both brands and customer education. It is a great impression for new timers and I enjoy referring friends there. I've gone to this place numerous times because the location is convenient for me, but I think I'll start going more of a distance in order to have a better experience in the store. This place is LOUD, the people at the door are aggressively in-your-face happy, they make you carry a basket all around the place, you MUST carry your purchases out in one of their paper bags (cannot forgo a wasteful bag by using your own), it seems very expensive (though to be fair I haven't compared prices), there's not a very big selection of gummies, and during check out they have two lines: when a cashier opens up you get to dance with whoever is first in the other line to decide who gets to go to the register. Once getting to the register, I've encountered some extremely cranky people. Bye bye, Harvest.

Not my cup of tea.Had the atmosphere similar to rec shops in WA that I have visited. However, the quality and price points of those shops were not present at Harvest.Nice, clean, welcoming interior. That got my hopes up.Their flower selection was not up to par. Top shelf had the highest prices I have seen in the city, and a lot of the genetics were commercial and didn't wow me aesthetically. Their more "budget conscious" flower was still 45 an eighth, and it was the same basic Flow Kana you can get anywhere in the bay. I don't think 45/eighth is a fair price for what is essentially decent outdoor, but maybe I'm spoiled.Concentrates were lacking. Lots of pens and "novelty" products like the Guild Extracts crystalline thc and cbd, but no wax, no shatter and only one type of bubble (55/gram, no star rating, was told it was "definitely" a full melt, but did not trust the bud tender enough to give it a shot)This collective obviously caters to a different type of patient. I would be more ok with this if their staff was better informed and their prices were more reasonable. No thanks.

The kid at the front desk had an attitude problem and the cashier with the white hair was rude. The people on the floor look at you weird. Customer service is not a priority for some of them. Maybe it was personal or racial bias. They don't accept credit card due fed laws but other dispensaries downtown do with a workaround. If you did not bring that much cash they will charge your debit card a fee. I try to buy from local businesses but would rather use eaze than go back to this place.

Newer shops in San Francisco are prepping for the boon of legalized marijuana. Harvest exemplifies this optimism. What you notice right away is a new model for business. There are no lines of any kind. You can pull an ounce off a shelf, take a whiff and not get thrown to the ground by a security guard. Budtenders come up to assist you as you browse and have the solicitous manner of someone working at a clothing store. The store itself has a clean, well designed interior that ordinarily wouldn't mean much to me, but when added to the low pressure browsing, is actually relaxing. Who would have thought?Unfortunately, hand in hand with ambiance comes larger prices. $60 for a 1/8th of bud, no matter how fantastic (and what I bought really was fire), should retail for that much. I can go to a club closer to home and get as good for at least $5 less for an eighth. Harvest is clearly going for the premium cannabis consumer, and sells strains from growers that have a brand name. They're probably betting the price won't matter much to their targeted consumer. Since they're selling premium pot at premium prices, they should get rid of their tight plastic bags and start putting their product into glass (preferably opaque) jars. I'm guessing the cost of the product must be going to help pay off the huge overhead of running the place. Along with the clean lines of the decor, they have an excellent smoking lounge with a massive flat screen TV, and furniture that wasn't plucked off of a curb at night. I was actually impressed, and I'm pretty jaded. I'd actually come hang out here. The problem is: the lounge is officially closed until they figure out who they can allow back there, an understandable predicament. My budtender, Lance, is a terrific person. He was very helpful and gave me some insight into how they were doing business. He knew the effects of his products very well. My only complaint is that he didn't know the genetics for a couple of strains (I wasn't deliberately testing him). At a premium cannabis store, folks should know everything about the product. Ironically, another customer filled me in on the cross. Weed nerds are the best. I loved what I got, flinched a bit at the price, but walked away from the shopping experience a happy person. I'm used to places that are dodgy, but (crossing my fingers) we may be in for a different experience after November.

One of the things I liked about this place was the ability to browse without feeling hassled and/or pressured. Mostly the staff was quick to offer help but was ok with letting you take your time to look at all the different products they stocked. Well tonight was different, which was no fault of theirs. You can't touch anything unless the staff takes it off the shelf for you, a shelf that's like inches away. Ok fine, that sucks but again, not their fault. What was not ok was that a product was advertised for a specific price and when I checked my receipt I was charged about $10 more than advertised on the sign. I went back to ask and a couple people went to check on the price and came back to tell me that unfortunately the signage was incorrect and that due to all the new regulations they haven't been able to check the prices on their items to make sure they're correct...uh what?! I told them I wanted to return the product because I wasn't willing to spend that much on it and that at the very least they could've told me that the price was higher than advertised. Oh no, instead the girl at the register had to tell me they were doing ME a favor by allowing me to return the product. Wow ok, so you admit your pricing was wrong and instead of selling it to me for the advertised price you scold me and try to make me feel like you're doing ME a favor. No thanks. The manager came and apologized to me and said he felt really bad about the misunderstanding. I was also given a product similar, but after getting home and looking at it, not at all what I wanted, for free. I don't even think this is a brand that they sell and so therefore can only assume it was a promotional sample. The other thing that was off putting was that the manager told me that they now have to destroy the product I returned. As if that's my problem, concern. There are way too many dispensaries in this city that offer a better experience. Come here for a decent selection of edibles and flowers if you're in the neighborhood but CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!!!!

This is a very nice new place. 100x better than the old one that used to be located in the same space. Prices are higher but the way the assistants carry themselves and treat visitors is worth it. They're very helpful and seem to know enough about all products, not just about raw flowers.I like how the place is very open as you can see inside from the outside. Products are arranged in such a way that non clients shouldn't have any issues with visibility. The remodel is also very good and was much needed. Great improvement to the neighborhood.

Simply the best in hand-selected, finely curated cannabis products.  The proprietors have taken absolute care in providing some of the best medical products available.  Some of the flowers are -- shall we say -- extremely high quality, rare and exquisite.  Take for example the descendent strain of Congolese with barnyard overtones and a soaring, energetic high.  Nice.Prices are extremely reasonable, too, which you were probably not expecting.   Just because it looks high end does not mean the prices are.  I was pleasantly shocked to find everything at a good, honest price.

Super nice, boutique-style dispensary in my hood. I remember going to the dispensary that used to be in this spot back in 2010 and Harvest Shop is a vast improvement imo. Prices are on the higher side so this definitely isn't my go-to spot when I need to stock up. For the most part the associates are nice and helpful, but very hit or miss. The lounge is really what keeps me coming back. It's the most lush looking lounge I've seen in the city thus far, and probably why their prices are so high. All they need is a dab bar and I would never leave.

I wanted to love Harvest. The Richmond needs a good dispensary, but Harvest fails to deliver. It feels less like a place to get medicine and medical advice and more like a place to buy novelty edibles. They call their patients "customers" and their bud tenders seem inexperienced and unknowledgeable. Their flower selection is extremely limited (like, eight strains in house) and prices are high ($20 a gram and $60 an eighth). The vibe is oddly sterile and corporate. The layout is weird and allows employees to sort of follow you around and suggestively sell as you shop. It's not intimate, and I didn't leave feeling like I'd really been helped- just sold some stuff. I'll keep schlepping down to the Apothecarium.

3 stars for a nice interior and a decent selection of edibles, cartridges, and flower. However, prices are insane. $56 for SELECT cartridges, $35 for Kiva Blueberries. I certainly won't be coming back here. Definitely were a lot of your first time Joe Schmo users...all being rung up for $150+. Was truly sad to see imho.

Firstly, I've loved everything I bought here. They have great variety and prices!Secondly, they have great customer service. They log your info so you just need your drivers license to get in. But what thrilled me the most was my experience today. A month ago I had bought a cartridge for my pen battery thing (a pen that I had bought somewhere else) and I had hardly used the cartridge when the pen stopped working. I unscrewed it and the pin fell out and part of the pen internally had melted. It took me a month to bring it back there and I had just expected to get an exchange for the cartridge and that I'd have to buy a new battery since I had bought mine somewhere else. Not only did the manager exchange the cartridge but they gave me a new battery to replace mine that had broken. It's definitely my new go to store!

I've frequented Harvest for over a year now and while before, I would have gladly rated it 5 stars, unfortunately, they recently changed their rules, which is understandable considering the legalization of marijuana for recreational use. However, it feels like they now cater only to the sudden influx of customers, as opposed to their customers who have gone there for a long time, due to medical reasons.I myself use to go because of social anxiety but now constantly feeling rushed by the staff, waiting in an overpacked store and then waiting in a line of at least ten people just doesn't seem worth it at this point. To add insult to injury, I had to pay tax even though I have a medical card. Really feels like they just simply no longer care about the clientele they originally set out to serve.

Hi Due to PGE had the need to head into SF on a day off- all my Marin County Disp. were closed-Harvest is right off Park Presidio so decided to go there-My other favs are Sparc/Haight St and Purple Star on Mission - to make long story short I was reading some reviews-the amount of people complaining about having to carry a basket in the store is absolutely effin ridiculous-prices are fine- a good range - so today I walk in hoping for a nice deal and almost immediately an employee approaches to mention Henry's has a deal where buy 1/8 and get a 2nd one for $1.00- promo 1/8 was Blueberry Cookies- I've enjoyed the Brand before and was pleasantly surprised-THANKS PGE and Harvest!!

Prices in here for some items are 2-3 times what I've seen at other places and I'm comparing their recreational to other place's recreational, not medical. After severe sticker shock, I settled on a small THC tincture that turned out to be non-psychoactive, though it was not labelled as such. So even my small purchase was a waste.I think they're basically charging people the max they can get away with because there's no other competition in the area. All I can say is I hope that changes.

I have visited more than 80% of the dispensaries in San Francisco. As I recall my visit to Harvest on Geary, I can safely say that this dispensary is not worth your time. Here are a few reasons why (and why I'm giving Harvest two stars):1) Conventional products: unique marijuana products make San Francisco dispensaries stand out. Harvest sources no unique products for their customers, including new upcoming marijuana companies that are supreme quality (e.g. Brass Knuckles, Select, Bloom Brand)2) Speaking of supreme quality, Harvest customers will not get their money's worth for Harvest marijuana products. The prices are very high, indeed, but that is not the problem: the real problem is that customers are paying top dollar for low-quality marijuana products, including popularized brands that are not as expensive as Harvest sells them for, as well as Harvest's flower collection. In short, Harvest is most likely jacking prices for their property rent on Geary (which makes sense), but for marijuana users who are willing to spend good money, they should be receiving better products (and customers do... at other dispensaries in the city).3) Flower is average, concentrates are mediocre, selections are limited...4) An extra star was given in this review for the customer service. Harvest is usually crowded and every time I made a visit, I was greeted with a professional budtender (thank you!).Overall, you're not at a loss for purchasing from Harvest. However, Harvest is the closest dispensary to my home (Richmond), and I still make the effort to travel farther for better dispensaries in San Francisco.

I love this dispensary!  Last night my friends and I drove into SF for Dim Sum and Dabs.  What an incredible staff!  Although it was news to them that the event was on their website, they honored their word and quickly ordered Dim Sum, set up the dabbing, and opened their room to us. The comfortable, spacious, private lounge was the perfect setting to learn more about dab and other high quality products.  We enjoyed Scottie, our dab master who was a wealth of information about new cannabis products and their effects.  Harvest has not only high quality products, but a team of bright, customer service oriented, personable people.

This was the first dispensary I ever visited. I researched a bunch of them and felt like Harvest was right up my alley. And I was right ... the first half-dozen times I went. That is the only reason this is not a 1-star review, because it is clean, cool and has a bounty of unique edibles. Friends always asked why I traveled so far from my own neighborhood, and I always replied that Harvest was well-worth the extra time and effort. That all changed about a year ago when an asshat security guard refused to let me in until "my ride that dropped me off" moved his car from the neighboring building's driveway. That would have been fine with me, as I am all about following rules and being courteous to others ... BUT it wasn't my ride anymore. I had arrived via Uber. And he was definitely NOT out there waiting on ME. I have no idea what Uber drivers do after they drop you off; and that dude was not my responsibility. I kindly explained this to said asshat, who remained unreasonable and rude, implying that I was lying and advised in no uncertain terms that until I got "my friend" to move his car, I wasn't coming inside. He needn't have worried: Even though it was my favorite dispensary, this incredulously insulting behavior was the end for me, and I have never gone back. If you want to patronize a business that employs jerks like that, be my guest. Epilogue: On the heels of that major buzz-kill (pun intended), the knowledgeable, friendly folks at Grass Roots on Post have been happily accepting all the busine$$ I would have thrown Harvest's way ever since.

Cool atmosphere, but I didn't think the flower selection was that great. The flower I got also didn't smoke that well, but that could be that specific strain. They have those $1, 10mg mints here though, so it's close enough to 4 stars to give a 4 star review.

Wow! Just paid 70$ for an eighth of bud that I was told was the best, most flavorful flower in the store. Turns out the flavor was mild to mediocre at best and the expansion was non existent. My first puff actually tasted like improperly cured hay weed. Maybe I'm crazy but for the  price of 70$, I feel this pot should be sublime, but unfortunately it's nothing more than fools gold weed, that looks pretty but has has no redeeming qualities . This place is probably good for a few edibles and maybe one type vape pen (legion of bloom) but that's about it. What does it matter if  leave this review anyway, the prices and quality will never change...

Just passed the "Harvest" cannabis store on Geary. Looks like nothing I have ever seen before. Good thing?. Maybe not , the more I think of it. As a cannabis patient, with a vast experience base from which to draw, my over impression of "Harvest" was not favorable. Far too pretentious with a cooler than thou vibe to it. Place looks not welcoming and far too uptight for a cannabis store. I just don't feel comfortable in this type of environment. In fact I would just prefer a clean and well maintained store with some cool budtenders. Get my meds at a good price and then enjoy. Here it is trying to take cannabis to a boutique type selling environment. Sorry, guys at Harvest, this idea will not sell. Regardless of how many young high earning techies there are living around. The business model is not at all feasible.

This place was really cool! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They were awesome and listened to my concerns and recommended products that would best fit my needs. I'd give 5 stars but I'm giving 4 because the prices were a little on the higher side. Not ridiculously high, but more expensive than the average dispensary. I will say it's cool that you can shop around the store and look at products at your own leisure and put them into a little basket just like you were grocery shopping.

I just walked out of the place. I use to come to this Store A LOT and after today, I will not coke back. I had a battery from THEIR own brand that I got a couple months ago, and it stopped working! The woman I spoke with (Victoria) was VERY unprofessional and rude! She said I should throw the battery I have away and buy another one for just $16. (JUST $16????)! I was very impressive the way she spoke to me. If course I left and pretend not to come back! They used to be very nice at that store, don't know what happened but she was way unprofessional!

The positive reviews must come from people who haven't been to exceptional dispensaries such as Grass Roots or Barbary Coast Collective. The selection at Harvest is meager; the quality of the flower is low-medium (often dry and the THC content statements on the packages are most likely, quite inflated); the commercially available products are mostly overpriced compared to a high-end club like Barbary. Judging from the dour looks on the faces of most of the employees, it's not a very fun place to work.I live about half a mile from the Harvest, but even with that convenience, it is my last choice for dispensaries.

I went on a Saturday with a friend and we had a really good experience. We're light/occasional recreational users and I was looking for something to help with chronic pain as well. Most of the staff (not all) were very knowledgeable and helpful. We're happy with our purchases. This is the only dispensary I've visited in SF but it did seem very expensive. Make sure you bring a decent amount of cash. They do take debit cards but there's a fee. And of course make sure you have a photo ID-- we were carded 3 separate times for one purchase. Most of their products are available for recreational use but some do require a medical card. They have a good selection for a small dispensary.

Felt like a boutique. Everything is pretty sterile (and pre-packaged). Way more emphasis on assembled products than the actual flower. Not much variety in the prices/strains. A completely different vibe than the business that used to occupy this space but I preferred the more neighborhood vibe even if it was a little dingier inside. The bag I bought was expensive and the strain wasn't that impressive.

This is a beautiful and convenient place to shop for cannabis products, with a wide variety to choose from and friendly, knowledgeable staff.  It's right on the 38 bus line and only a block from the 28 bus line.  Their check-in process is fast and efficient, the inventory is displayed in an appealing and organized fashion, and the people there are just plain nice!  I'm a CBD-only user and at Harvest, they always have what I need and amazingly are adding new CBD stuff all the time, which I love!  They also have the full spectrum of THC products too... from edibles to rubs/creams to tinctures, vapes, smoke, you name it and Harvest has it, in a wonderful storefront that feels more like a high-end boutique than a dispensary. Decent spot, on the high side but not too bad. Biggest issue they need to solve is handling people who have a million questions or a need to drone on about weed and the new laws for an hour while the rest of us stand by waiting to get our product and get in line. The conversation hostage takers are hogging up all the service ever since they stopped allowing you to grab the product yourself. Step aside and talk about weed with someone else please, I'm trying to buy and bounce out.

I went to Harvest for the first time this evening.  I was really excited to have a store close to my apartment.  I love the ambience of the store, it has great lighting, very knowledgeable and friendly staff.  You walk in and can pick almost anything up and check it out, which is new to me.  They answered all my questions.  They even hooked me up with a little something extra, because I wasn't exactly sure how much things were going cost.  It was a wonderful experience, despite my miscalculation, they just worked with me.  Based on the customer service factor, the quality of the product, and the location I will be back soon.  I will say the prices are competitive, but many prices in this town are competitive.  There are always options out there if you want to spend less.  If you want top notch you'll come here.

This is the first dispensary I tried after recreational use was legalized. I felt the employees had a lot of attitude and no friendliness, and the prices were high. They had advertised a senior discount on their web site, but when I got to the cashier and asked for it, they said it was only for medical customers, which it didn't say on the web site. So false advertising. I have since found a dispensary with very friendly employees and good prices. But I had signed up for Harvest's e-mail list, and wanted to get off it. There is no unsubscribe link in their e-mails, which I think is unethical for business e-mail. I asked at least 6 times to be taken off, by e-mail and by phone, and they won't do it. The last time I asked I told them if I got another e-mail I would give them a bad review wherever I could find to do it, and here it is. They deserve it anyway.

Bob loves Harvest. Harvest is a high end cannabis dispensary that caters to professionals and people who don't want deal with scary, dark clubs with bullet proof glass. Harvest has introduced innovation into the retail cannabis market. The windows of the club are open for everyone to see inside. There are no budtenders, instead all the products are on the shelf. They carry the best and provide amazing customer service. This move into mainstream cannabis resembles a more corporate look like Starbucks or a high end tea shop. Check out the THC-A. There are the exclusive store in SF to carry the product. Don't take my word. Go there and check it out for yourself.

I am so excited to see a place open up like this. It is very different than other dispensaries. The set up allows for patients to browse around before making a selection. At most every other dispensary, you are called forward to the counter where the budtender suggests something to you. A few times, I have felt pressure to buy things that I didn't want bc I felt as if the budtender took their time with me, and I -sort of- needed to. Harvest's set up removes this pressure. The products are displayed on the wall and in cases on the floor and they have testers of all of their topicals. The layout feels more like Kiehls skin boutique and less paternal than other dispensaries. Instead of calling us forward like cattle, tenders walk around as we browse for ourself and ask us if we need help or have questions; rather than pushing another strain up to your nose so you will make your selection, and they can move onto the next patient. The selection of flowers and extracts isn't large yet; they are a new and growing business and I am sure this will change soon. However what they do have is premium, top notch medicine. Check out the Cherry Private Reserve, it was amazing. The city - and the whole industry- needed a boutique cannabis dispensary, and I am excited to say Harvest is it.

I love love love this place.  Was very nervous going the first time since I am a woman in my 50's, but I wasn't the only one there!!! Hysterical!!! A ton of men in suits and middle aged women,  felt right at home. Everyone was so friendly and informative,  since I knew nothing about product or content. They had a sales rep from a company there that day and she was so informative on her dosist pens.  They are an inhaled device and worked well. I also got THC and CBD cookies. Very tasty, but didnt work as well as the pens.  Highly recommend this store for it's accessibility, knowledge of product and it's modern appearance and friendliness. Dont let the security guard put you off!!!

I've been to a ton of dispensaries and the only thing I really want to say is watch out for the 1 star reviews. Just read them, and think to yourself if this person reflects your own opinions.  It's clean, the staff is knowledgeable, and yeah, it caters towards a different crowd.  Is that so bad?  THe most important thing is that they want to help patients.  If the decor is too nice for you, then sorry, go to some other place but if you want a high end, warm experience, come here.

Outraged. completely outraged. This establishment caught my eye as I drove down Geary last week. Unfortunately my visit was less than satisfactory. They charged me an extra $3  for using my debit card. The medicine was super bunk and did not meet my expectations. Don't let the exterior fool you. This place has high prices, bad customer service, and really is just a joke altogether

I was surprised to see a four star average rating on yelp after my first and last visit to Harvest.  Then I read the reviews to see what people had to say.  I'd bet my last bud that all of the rediculace, over-the-top, five star reviews are fake.  Each one sounded like the owner had written it.  The only reviews that seemed genuine were the ones complaining about the weird, new age, up tight, and obviously money minded feel of the place.  Would never set foot in this creepy place again. They had the nerve to send out "invitations" to sit in their private lounge.  Oh and by the way, even though we invited you, entry is only for those who spend $50 or more first.  Shove it Harvest!  There's 20 better clubs within 15 minutes of this place.

Great physical store. Prices are WAY too high. Staff is friendly even though I felt slightly pressed to buy something. The flowers look great but they all look similar in some cases. Unlike the other places, they have no free gift for first time patients, no reward system like SPARC, charge you the ATM fee and unlike SPARC, they don't give you the difference back...I just go there cause of the convience. I only live a few blocks away. There is a few cuties that work there...and that's about it.

Was forced to hold a basket, which was uncomfortable. Security relentlessly eyeing you making sure you don't steal anything - even more uncomfortable. Overpriced everything and a very limited amount of product. No thanks, I'll stick to The Green Cross or Grassroots.

Love this place! The prices are very reasonable and good. Similar to other nice dispensaries in the city. But you have a lot of choices. I can tell that they only get the best product as well. It's also great to have a dispensary in the Richmond district, saves gas money and time and effort going to other parts of the city. Their pre-rolls hit 100% all the time also. Which I appreciate. The staff is friendly as well. And a lot of edible choices. Including some great tea and a rice truffle that's delicious. Will def keep going here and continue to support this business. Recommend anyone to go. Especially if you're in the outer parts of SF. :)

After spending probably 10 grand over a year at Harvest, I have decided I can no longer do business with them.  In case you haven't noticed, the management/ownership, appears not to have great concern for protocols which benefit the customer's experience.  This ranges from consistent customer support, condescending attitude by most of the male staff (call it mansplaining!).  But worst of all, when I see employees who are people of color, I have noticed that it is just for security.  Lastly, I was verbally admonished by an unfriendly door man, (call it bouncer) , when I limped into the shop with a sprained ankle, I was informed I needed to go half block down the street to tell the person who dropped me off to move the car.  This while I explained I was having a great deal difficulty walking.  The bouncer literally used his giant body vs. my petite frame to guide me toward the side walk.  Menacing and not ok.  The turn over there is constant, and the management seems to be disorganized and unprofessional.  I am disappointed that a company which is clearly making had over fist, seems to disregard professionalism and customer service. Despite all of this, I have encountered a few really great employees there who kept hanging on.  AT this point most of them no longer work there.

Way more expensive than any of the other dispensaries I've been to and the first one I've ever been to that doesn't give you free gift on your first visit.Pricing is really weird: "The prices on the white labels are the prices before tax, but the brown labels are what they are after tax."Payment: Wanted to use credit card, but could only use ATM card... for an extra $2.50 fee!  When using an ATM card, "Prices need to be in $5.00 increments, so we round up to the next $5 dollars and give you the change in cash..."  WAT?!?Also, bought two vapor cartridges on my first (and only!) visit.  One was .3 grams (WTF?!?) for $30 bucks ($5 bucks more than .5 grams at my usual place) and it tasted like a Macy's perfume department when I exhaled.  Got about 5 hits from that before it stopped working entirely.  Luckily, I had the other .5 gram one I bought!  Only got 1 hit from that before it stop working (yes, not a type, that's ONE (1) hit!).  It did come in a nice glass test tube with a cork though, so there's that, I guess!Won't be going back.

I found my spot! Ive been to many and this is the nicest dispensary in SF. The members room where you can chill and smoke in the back is deluxe. Everyone was helpful and kind. I really wish I could give this dispensary the 5-star it's due. However, after looking at my receipt and then my bank statement.. I'm pretty sure they over charged me almost $40. Also, as I got back home and looked up some of the strains they carried on leafly most of the TCH levels were significantly lower than what was advertised on the bottle... sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen with false advertising.. hm.. Any-who, the place was nice and bright, most importantly welcoming. They also had a very nice vibe in their back room where you could hang out and try out their medicines. Great presentation, seems to just be lacking ethics. I would make sure to pay attention to detail though.. always double check you get charged the correct amount. Will come back for a second visit, everyone has their off days... hopefully my updated review will be what I hoped for this one.

Richmond district native here. Let me just say that this place has become a staple of the neighborhood. Hemp center was so so, harvest has filled its shoes and then some. Walked in yesterday for dabs and dim sum. The front desk always greets me with a smile. Made my way back to the lounge to the dab bar to be greeted by the dab tender, who was incredibly nice, caring, and professional. Got my dab on and grubbed on some bao from clement street. You can't  really beat that. Harvest takes care of their customers. I'll be back 100% especially if that dab tender with the nice smile is working.

Harvest is the best storefront to buy all your meds in the city. It's easy to tell that Harvest is really on the forefront of normalizing your weed buying experience. No tint or security bars on the windows, more of a coffee shop vibe. They have the most beautiful lounge where they host both educational and sampling events. Also have to give a shout out to one of the security guards (more to love African American man) who always greets you with smile and a friendly conversation. Everyone at Harvest is super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Yay Harvest!!

When this place first opened I was excited that a dispensary was opening in the Richmond but unfortunately the customer service is just not there yet. I've had a few issues with this place. I really encouraged my brother to join which he did and at the time if you refer someone you get a $20 credit which although he said I referred him the person that signed him up didn't bother to ask him who had referred him. Then another time I was last there the guy that checked me in said that if I check in on Yelp I'll get a $10 credit when I went to pay the guy said it was for new customers only which if that were the case the person that checked me in should have known I were a returning customer. Then yet another time I was there they said my info was not in the system and I needed to show them my doctor's referral in spite of the fact I had just bought something there a couple of days earlier. I must there are well intentioned employees but the lack of training and communication does not make me want to return. I will drive across town to the Apothecarium.

Very friendly. The best way to describe this place would be to say it's the Apple Store of cannabis. It's very cool, very high tech. There's no one really helping you, you get to look on your own and if you have a question you have to find someone and ask. It's just like the Apple Store. You get what you pay for but it's pricey.

This dispensary is the standard of what every medical cannabis establishment should strive to be. The staff was incredibly friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. The product was next level. You can tell that this shop is dedicated to carrying the most scientifically advanced, current, and pure products. i would highly suggest checking out the Guild Extracts crystalline CBD and THCA. I would also suggest taking a look at the Isolated terpene selection. The gal (i think her name was Destiny) that assisted me was very knowledgeable on different extracts and cannabinoids. You can tell that the staff poses a genuine passion for what they are doing. The store front is very open and full of light. They offer you a shopping basket so that you can peruse the selection at your convenience. Lastly, upon check out, they offer you child proof and smell proof packaging. you can tell they work very hard to shake that stigma that consuming medical cannabis is wrong. They have legitimately changed my perception of SF pot shops. Thanks Harvest! Excellent addition to the neighborhood

At a cannabis clinic where your job is to be a medicinal provider to the community, leaving a first impression that someone walking through your door isn't worthy of your service is a great example of not doing your job.  Its like the staff were all hand-picked from a line-up of snobby hipsters who are actually quite clueless about the products they carry, and about the industry and community they are supposed to be a part of.  As far as the products on the shelf?  Just because something has a flashy label does not mean that it is quality.  I would go anywhere but here.

I was trying to find a dispensary that was conveniently located and had a vibe that was comfortable and safe. When i found Harvest I found all of these things and more. Really nice people help you find what you need and explain the options. As cannabis culture changes and matures it makes sense that so too would the business. Harvest opened quite recently and are finding their groove. You can expect friendly service and a nice variety of tinctures, oils, flowers and edibles. One of the nicest features at Harvest is their fabulous lounge. Very comfortable spot. Hospitality extends to serving non-alcoholic juices and waters on the house. Parking has never been an issue either. Come check out a different kind of dispensary experience. I like it a lot.

This store is perfect for a person easily hypnotized by glitz and glamour.  It's more like a boutique serving upscale customers.  Most of the people that need medicinal marijuana because of an illness such as aids or cancer cannot afford the Harvest Shop prices.  It seems like the Harvest Shop is all about the dollar.  No rewards system, no first time freebies no 5$ joints no 10$ joints.  Not a big selection of buds.

Used to be my go-to dispensary in my 'hood, but never again. I was a customer since the place reopened as the clean, modern place it is now (originally this location was like Cheech and Chong's pot club). The place was always a bit pricey, but it was convenient and had good product and good customer service.  But, things have changed.  Since the Jan 1st rule changes they are so overrun with new recreational customers they no longer give a damn about their long time medical patients. The old set up doesn't jive with the new rules and my last visit there was no adjustments for the rules, no menu for you to read, no way to know the THC or CBD content of any product other than waiting in line and asking someone. The front of house quoted different rules than the clerks who took your money. The worst offense was that after waiting for 45 minutes in two lines (one to ask questions, another to check out) they had no record of my being a prior patient, despite my being a client since their doors opened a few years ago and my Rx being up to date and on file. Because of this, they wanted to charge me the higher recreational fees and taxes. When I protested I was told to go home and re-register on line. I left my product at the counter and proceeded to leave. On my way out I recognized a long time manager, who clearly did not recognize me. When I registered my complaint with him he just said to me in a very passive aggressive way, "Have a nice day!" My guess is that they are so over the moon with the rush of new customers and big profits that they don't really give a damn about their long time original customers. I still get their spam emails, as I'm on their list, but they have yet to respond to my email that I wrote to them the day of my last visit complaining of my poor experience. That's OK with me, I have other sources. SPARC remains the best pot shop in town. I don't mind driving a few more blocks to get my medicine.
