They have a parking lot. This feature alone gets 5 starz as they are the only dispensary in the city with it. The bud tenders are friendly and helpful. I just noticed that every time I am there, they partner with the best products; e.g. the other day was buy one get one for $0.01 Wyld gummies, which are gold standard, esp. the night time ones for sleep aid.

Best customer service with a staff who is consistently knowledgeable of their inventory and helps to customise your experience for your perfect high.

I have been going to BASA since 2007.  They are an established business. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable.  Their inventory is substantial & top quality.

Friendly staff, great vibes and a great selection of products! They told me about the specials when I got there and made sure I had what I needed.

Been going here for 6 years. Love it. Although a recent remodel has this bungalow looking smooth. No frills to the experience, but the staff is wonderful and super chill, not pretentious at all. I'm a dabber. The stock variety on concentrates varies quite a bit. Would like more brand variety. They have great prices on flower and fun daily specials! It's an SF gem!

I am done ordering from this place.  They get my orders wrong now and they just arrive whenever.  The app kicks out an estimated time when you order, but it's a joke.  It used to tell you when someone was on the way, but now nope.  If you wanna know when your order is going to arrive or even close, then don't use this delivery service.Only go into the store to buy.  In store is fine, but delivery is the worst experience I have ever had.

As it turned out, my iPhone was not there. It had fallen out of my pocket, outside of BASA, when I bent over to pick up my dog's "business." Luckily, for me, an honest person, saw it & picked it up. I was reunited with my phone the next day!This has nothing to do with BASA but I still want to reiterate that this is a great neighborhood business and we're lucky to have them here in our neighborhood!

I have always wondered about this place, but never made it in until today. As I was grappling with what to purchase, Blue, the head of security approached me and helped me out big time. He was patient and willing to dive deep into each product and the differences in effect. Everyone was super nice, and Blue made my first experience that much better. Highly recommend!

BASA is hands-down one of my favorite dispensaries both in the city and outer Bay Area. I've been coming to BASA for over a decade now and have seen them grow and change and evolve into the amazing club that they are today. They are nothing but exceptionally wonderful people who care for others and want to make sure that people get The best product at the best price. On top of that they also have an amazing compassion program in which I've been truly lucky enough to be a part of and Truly I don't know what I would have done without their help in my situation, I have a broken back and stage four endometriosis and chronic pain level seven out of 10 daily and that's on a good day, and BASA has been there for me every step of the way through my healing journey and helping me manage my pain while being so extremely compassionate and wonderful and supportive to me in anyway that I can possibly ask for. It's really rare these days to find people that are truly caring, real, compassionate, and loving. I feel incredibly blessed to have been able to become a part of the BASA family and I appreciate them from the bottom of my heart. Because of their compassion program I've been able to get through surgeries and hospitalizations. I wasn't able to afford the medicine I needed because I chose the route of cannabis versus pharmaceuticals BASA has been instrumental in my healing. I have nothing but love for these people and I always recommend all of my friends because of their amazing variety, quality, and price of the product that they have available. If you haven't checked out their Club or their compassion program you're missing out, especially if you are someone who suffers from chronic illness. They will take care of you. Because they ACTUALLY care.

Let me start by saying: I absolutely LOVE this place. Friendly welcoming staff, always clean, and always a good selection. I've lived in the hood for 10yrs, and I have been coming here for a long time. LOVE*ITMy only gripe: they changed their rewards system, and pretty abruptly I might add. I'm in Basa once a week (at least). I went in one day and had $8 in rewards. Decided to save for a rainy day. Returned the next week, ready to use my $8 reward. Gone. Only $2.50 in rewards. Of course I'll continue to give Basa my business. They make it so easy. But they should put the old rewards system back in place. I feel pretty low-balled that I lost those rewards (call me annoying) but $8 bucks is solid when it comes to a re-up for the weekend.

NO QUESTION, the BEST DISPENSARY in SF...I have been to several just for the experience and BASA WINS..lots to offer, the BEST PRICES, a loyalty and neighbor discount. The customer service is GREAT, everyone soooooo nice and patient, it get's confusing...shout out to JAHCAILA, a SWEETIE, so Patient..AND THERE IS PARKING!!!! The whole vibe of the place ROCKS!

Great product, great employees and their prices are great...They have all levels of flowers, cartridges, edibles and the door guy is the shizzy...Whenever you need your meds be sure to stop by BASA first as they have daily specials.

Just really disappointing. I'm in pain and in medical need. The product I need is on their menu - I can select it, add it to my cart, and all that, but when I show up to ask for it, I'm looked at like I'm sort sort of alien asking for something they've never heard of before. Zero attempt to show me another product that might help me, zero customer service.It turns out that what's on their menu isn't what they actually have in stock, so my trip across town to this one dispensary which supposedly had what I needed was a complete waste of time - despite the fact that i'd purchased it there twice before.Obviously, I'll be looking elsewhere from now on.

My therapist recommended I try CBD for my anxiety, so I came here to check out the selection. The staff was super friendly and knowledgable, answered my questions, and helped me find a tincture that fit all my needs: good for anxiety, daytime use, and folks who are new to CBD. This place is a gem! BASA has some of the best deals I've seen thus far. Very clean, professional, and the online ordering system makes it so easy for a quick and seamless pick up.

Nothing special about this place, when you need weed you get it with regular prices. they are open untill 10pm, this is something.

Decent selection decent prices. This place can't decide what payment they accept. They send emails To patrons saying they take cards but they don't. Cash only but their TWO atm machines in house rarely work. Payment at this place is such a hassel. Come with cash

Cash-only, no-nonsense neighborhood joint (you'll even get a sweet 10% discount if you've got the same zip code)! Smaller selection than most. Products are always rotating so I like to check online beforehand, I can always find something that fits my needs. I've done pickup and delivery with no issues (delivery was at the end of the window I signed up for, so a little over an hour after I ordered). Prices are better here than some of the more touristy dispensaries I've gone to.

Been coming here for a while. Love that they have a mini parking lot makes pulling up here easy. Good weed deals and cool staff. Shout out to the doorman Blue! He showed me some deals they had goin and i came up on some top shelf for the low!

I live in the neighborhood and have exclusively used Basa for all of my weed needs since 2017. I have literally NEVER been disappointed with them. Between the quality of the product and the truly chill people that work there, I've never seen a reason to look elsewhere. They keep the same high quality product but also regularly add new brands and things to try. No complaints whatsoever, 100% recommend. Try their delivery service!!! Also nicest drivers.

My roommates and I frequent this place and can't speak highly enough about them. They are always polite and have pretty low prices as far as SF go.

I don't understand the negative reviews here. I've been going to Basa for 4 years now. The staff are always friendly, selection is excellent. Prices are normal for the area, and I have no reason to stop coming here. It's in a very convenient location for divis shoppers and I've never once been burned. Will continue to frequent Basa.

I got an email from BASA with a promo code which is MIDS710 buy 2 MIDSFACTORY WAX get one for $1 i placed an order with 7grams of MIDSFACTORY wax through their website and my total came out $62 for 7grams but when I am trying to pick up my order they were not honoring the coupon the total that they were giving me is $140 - why when I placed my order through their BASA website by pick up or delivery my total always comes out to $62 with a coupon of MIDS710 but when they ring me up is higher price? I am confused! I even spoke to a BASA employee on the phone for my delivery order and I asked him what is my total and he told me $62 but he put me on hold for 5 mins to talk to his manager or supervisor and when he came back to pick up the phone he was like oh your total is $142 because our system is down our computer is not working its not accepting the coupon. All excuses or lies? But he was able to tell me my total when I asked him in the beginning of our conversation. Ive been going to BASA but this is the worst experience I have ever encountered. Why give me coupon if I cannot even use it? This doesn't make sense.I have receipts for this too that my total was $62 for 7 gr of midsfactory wax. I wouldn't even bother if the website price is the same as the store but not today!!!

Staff is nice. Product is good. The new door person they have outside, home girl could be less salty. I believe her job is to check people in, not come inside and enforce order of the line. I didn't know stepping out of line to get money and stare at the menu also means you're still in line. This has never been the case here prior to 2021 or at any other dispensary I've been to. And again, chica, your job is to check folks in.

Well, its been two months since the nice response to my first review, which assured us that the neighbor discount issue would be looked into.  It hasn't.  I asked about it again at the store and the kid behind the counter was totally rude and completely ignorant (he actually reminded me that the city makes the zip codes, not BASA-  really?!?)  Clearly smoking way to much product to understand this very simple issue, so I gave up trying to explain.  Based on their actions, I doubt they will ever fix this- its a point of contention for A LOT of people, but they clearly do not take it (us) seriously...  I'm going to find a new place to shop.  I spend a lot- I expect at least an attempt at courtesy and professionalism- not going to find it here...

Stopped in because one of the manager's caught my ear offering discounts for locals and despite being out-of-towners, he honored it since we were in a local AirBnB. The check in was easy. Cash only but an ATM is on site. Staff was knowledgeable and offered up multiple options when I told them my preferences. Prices also seemed lower than other dispensaries in the city.

First off , I use to like this place, I  use to like the door guy out front but after today's experience I will never go back, They now take card payments but then don't tell you they don't take EDD cards, then takes my payment on another card but doesn't tell me of a two dollar fee, then after arguing with the person behind the counter that I have constantly have problems with, dudes slow , pga no attention and lacks enthusiasm for the job. Dead eyes stare... the doorman is usually helpful but wants to get in my business thinking he knows what the hell is going on 100% he may know what's going on to a point but he doesn't know everything, let alone this situation where I already paid for the weed and yet to have it handed to me .after voicing what happened and how I feel I'm just over run by loudness..., blah blah I do this blah blah I do that .. ok boss! Heard ya loud and clear lol pretty much I will never support the place again  smd

I've been coming to this location for almost 10 years.. way before yoy could just walk in and buy anything you want. To be honest, back when you were required to make purchases with a medical rec. card, this place was great in terms of price and quality. Now.. I don't know. Prices are way too high and some of the old products that they used to store for years are non-existent due to regulations. I'd save your money and go somewhere else.

I tried delivery for the first time. Ording was a breeze and the driver, Kahled, Called ahead of his delivery to let me know he was nearby. He even gave me some recommendations based on what I purchased. Terrific selection of products and I really enjoyed the edibles. It's a long walk or a short bus ride if I were to go to the collective myself. Even though it's not too far for me I just didn't really want to potentially have to wait when I got there, which is why I tried the delivery service. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this place! Came here for a friend who wanted something that would get her to eat. She has been having trouble with her appetite lately and was not sure what to buy for her issue.There were so many things to choose from. It was great, so far as the variety but I just did not know which product to get. I then asked Nas who helped me. He was very knowledgeable of the products. He was really helpful in selecting my final purchase. I must say I would come here again because they seem to take their time to find out what your needs are and give you great options to help you. Kudos to Kittrick for recommending the Bath Bomb, "CaliBliss - YuZu & Cedarwood."  Last evening I dropped the bath bomb into my bath.  It started to fizz and within a couple of minutes, I stepped into my bath and luxuriated for 20 minutes.  Wow!  Afterwards, I felt as if I had spent the day at the Spa.  A wonderful evening was had by all, needless to say.Kittrick, thanks again for always being so well informed, helpful, patient and smiling when I see you.  I will definitely continue to purchase the bath bombs and all the other fabulous products that you offer.  THANK YOU!!!!

Good prices, selection & loyalty benefits. Lots of hybrids & Indica. Not much sativa-dominant selection. Good edibles. Service is a little inconsistent but that is common in SF. Online ordering could be improved cause you still have to wait in line even though you order ahead.

This is a good shop, with fair prices, and great store hours. You can take in your well-behaved dog and they have products for them too. My only complaint is that their supply tends to run low/out especially on the weekends. That just may mean you need to shop a different time of the week. They do offer a neighborhood discount too.

Black lives matter and this place  does not appreciate my buisness. every time i go in there. the computers aren't working or they have products listed  incorrectly  just all bad. The bud tenders are rude. They go on break soon as they see me. Incredible.  I know what it feels like to be disrespected because of your color They  also make you wait for long periods of time. i started getting all this attitude for some reason..  Zero stars. Zero customer service. dont go  there.  There are plenty of dispensers that would love to treat you with love and with great customer service and respect  which I was disrespected multiple time. I only continued going there because it's near my home. I hate I ever spent a dollar with this racist company . I'm a strong independent  black and white woman. I will never  take being talked to or treated like I'm not a beautiful Black woman.  I get this terrible vibe soon as you walk in! I know how it feels to be discriminated against.  I'm 54 years old I know  how it feels to be treated like your less then. .

My Favourite place for the best service, good products, although they are usually too low on Sativa products. Best staff who are fun and willing to help pleasure all of us shoppers. Since Covid, I have been using the delivery service, even less choices for Sativa though, which encourages me to try other products too. I have to tip my beret though to Khaled, the wonderful person who comes and brings me the things I like. Friendly, kind, respectful and prompt. I like this place, alot!

First time patient!!! I went into basa and instantly was greeted by not only the door woman but also the whole staff. I was helped by a woman named Taz! She was so helpful since I didn't know exactly what I wanted. She made me feel like I should be shopping here. They have amazing prices. $20 eighths during this time is a great find. Also they great deals on half ounces. I was very surprised at their prices because all the other shops in sf are super expensive but basa isn't!! Definitely will be coming back ASAP !

This establishment sucks and is super unprofessional! If you are a woman, beware. One of the employees low key harassed me. I was checking out and completely unprompted he told me I was gorgeous and asked if he could have my number. I was pretty taken aback so I said sure. I feared that if I rejected him then and there he could retaliate since all of my contact info is on file. We texted back and forth for a bit but I decided I wasn't interested and told him so. Despite that, he kept texting me and was being super persistent even though I clearly established that I was not interested. I blocked him eventually. That experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I cannot see myself going back. Do better.

I went in to buy an edible for a friend, didn't have cash so they recommended me to use the ATM inside. That ATM has 99.99% card skimmer in-built, they are or they are working with frauds . DO NOT USE that ATM, that's where I used my card last a week ago and now that card has been replicated and being shopped with all over in LA. Thankfully my bank figured it out and stopped them.

This dispensary is great! Very reasonable prices, all of the staff is friendly and helpful, and the store takes COVID precautions seriously. Only a good experience purchasing from here!

I'm so grateful for the speedy deliveries and the ability to pay and TIP with card, SO helpful during these difficult times when I need medicinal MJ and don't have access to ATM's etc. Thanks BASA for helping us survive this pandemic and keeping prices somehow so so low, especially compared to other delivery/dispensaries in the area.

I've been coming to BASA for about five years.  They offer much higher quality, variety, and value than any other dispensary in the city.  I've been other places, sure, we all like to wander a bit but I always come back to BASA.  Great selection of flowers at a wide range price points, very expansive edible selection, they constantly get new stuff in and they are excited to tell you about it.  A lot of people mentioned bad bud tenders in their reviews but in my experience the only hiccups I've encountered have come from new employees and everyone has to learn.  I've also noticed management stepping in to help new employees and being very attentive to customer's needs or any problems that come up.  The rewards are great and I've never had a problem with my neighborhood discount being honored.  They are good people and they run a nice shop.

Unprofessional staff. Worst service everThere are different menus with separate categories of weed (flowers, pre-rolls, edibles etc.) I asked for a flower that was $10 on the menu. The employee behind the glass tried to charge me $20. after me and the other customers corrected her, she acknowledged her mistake but sold me a pre-roll. After leaving out I noticed it wasn't the flower that I asked for but a pre-roll so I went back in to make the correct exchange. There was a different woman behind the glass. when I told her about the mistake, She was very rude and talked over me saying "technically that is a flower." She never gave me what I requested. Very rude and unprofessional staff.

I just went in about 5 minutes ago. I live near by and  am a regular customer. Ive spent a lot of money there. The dark haired lady with the British accent was so incredibly rude! We were asking basic questions and she was so annoyed and trying to rush us out of there even though there was no one in the store. We will definitely not be coming back and will be telling my friends who shop here of my experience. Go to grass roots instead, they take the time to answer your questions and don't treat you like your an inconvenience

Back in My Good BookI used to live across the street, and have come here periodically over the years. I have had some of the same bad experiences as others on this page, but also some pretty good ones. Recently there was an issue with the labeling on one of the products, but they reached out to me a few days later, recognized the mistake and made it right.  They have had some ups and downs over the years but lately they seem to have been making a push in a more positive direction. BASA continues to be the flagship Western Addition dispensary.

I've been to this specific location multiple times and have always received great customer service. Every worker I've interacted with was very knowledgeable about all their products. They have been around for forever and every time I go there's literally a line out the door (it goes pretty fast, unless there's a few weirdos, it is San Francisco after all.)If you haven't tried the Korova brand top shelf eighths!!!! Definitely recommend!!

I've been coming here all of 2020 and now first day of 2021 and it's always for some fire. the workers always have their masks on are fun and professional and caring of how many people are inside the store at a time for covid purposes!

This place was the best and cheapest like 6 years ago. When weed became legal their prices went crazy high, then they lowered them a bit later. Now they are just so so. They have made it look way better over the years and came a long way from just a single trailer. It may not be what it used to be, but I would say it's still my favorite dispensary in San Francisco.

This is the best dispensary in SF. Best customer service, variety and prices. All their delivery drivers are always very nice and professional. We only shop here because it is always quality and free delivery! You can't beat that with a baseball bat. I don't care who you are.

What a nice group of folks! Short waiting time too! Absolutely not pretentious thanks be the gods! Smaller than many dispensaries this place seems to hire warm hearted people who are friendly and not too busy playing grab ass with each other to truly help the customers and answer any questions. The biggest complaint I've seen is waiting in line while people ask questions or having to listen to a very young inexperienced adult describe their enjoyment of THC, but these folks are knowledgeable and quick to serve you and get you on your way!However all that being said there delivery service is horrible. Long waiting times, along with a delayed response to the initial purchase didn't give me confidence. To finish it off besides being late the "delivery" was in the street not to your door. So carry all that cash or your credit card out into an uncontrolled area isn't comforting and if you're elderly wouldn't feel safe at all. Customers should be notified if the delivery is NOT to your door! Poor form.

White bouncer verbally assaulted a poc male who was double parked. Because two white girls inside were scared. POC Male was waiting for his wife. Don't come here because the manager won't do shit and wont' apologize for his employees harassing people. This is clearly a Becky place. There are better dispensaries in the city who treat EVERYONE equally.

Basa like all dispensaries in California has a problem with prepackaging. When I looked at the pick date on the weed I bought it said it was packaged and picked more than six months ago. As you can imagine the bud was stale and hard and who knows if they are storing it properly during its shelf time. I wish I could give 0 stars. I am very disappointed that prices have gone up everywhere and the quality has taken a dive due to packaging laws.

This is my go-to dispensary. It's in a good location, the security guys outside are always polite, and the staff has consistently improved over the past year. While I don't really understand their rewards program, I like that I am regularly pleasantly surprised with incentives. It seems well run and I feel like I can 'trust' this business, whereas other places have vague/variable pricing, tack on random fees, or literally overcharge or significantly shortchange you (I'm talking to you, Sparc over on Haight). Ordinarily I'd probably rate this 4 stars, but the young black woman who helped me on Sunday was really great, so extra star for her.

I have finally founds a place that provides a discount for a medical marijuana card and right in the hood. Only been here twice so far but have been happy with my purchase both times. They offer some nice discounts, but would like to see a wider range for the regular priced items but would highly recommend this place.

I really like this collective. Ended up in SF and needed a refill cartridge for my pen. I love how there is a thick glass between customers and staff. Idk why i always worry about the staffs safety at every club lol. Anyway there were big digital monitors with prices and such. When a window is available you take your order, one of the kind ladies will assist and your out of there. Don't forget your ID.

They sold me a cartridge that did not fit my vape pen. Then, when I went to return it I couldn't get my money back. Poor customer service means you might leave with something you don't want, can't use, or won't need.

Terrible service. Was told their menu is run by 3rd party & they "can't call at anytime" to update their menu... basically, I ordered online for pick up & showed up early to find out the item is out of stock as of the night before... So, you're telling me you can't update the menu the same day it is out of stock?? Then why are you working with that company if changing the menu items isn't their specialty.Funny thing is later in the day, I get a text message that my order was fulfilled & ready for pick up... no one called me for any kind of updates such as out of stocked or how long my order was going to take. This place is a joke.

Rip-off alert!I've been coming to Basa Collective for years going back to when they were just medical and even before when they didn't ask you for your card or doctor's recommendation that's how far back I go with Basa. However there seems to be a great turnover in personnel there and that can lead to issues. Here's 2 recent ones of mine... On Thursdays they have a special on Edibles buy 2 get the third for a dollar I think that's what it is and I always get a gram vape cartridge so when I placed the order and I was given a bag with my items I noticed that the price was higher than I've been paying every other Thursday but didn't think anything of it until I got home and looked at the receipt and what I was actually given. I was not given the gummies I was asking for I was given something more expensive and I was charged for everything it wasn't buy two get one this day. I chalked that up to a new employee who just didn't know, no big deal 15 bucks extra who cares.I come every week and I pick up a couple cartridges to get me through the weekend; last week I was told I had a $25 credit and a $20 credit from all the items I purchased in the past and earned some credit for. So I opted to use the $25 credit last week, bought a cartridge and enjoyed it. Came back today one week later expecting to have a $20 credit that I could use, always makes the wife happy when I come home with some change in the pocket. However the person who I was dealing with today, whom I've never seen there before, told me that I had no credits and charged me full price. I said to him I'm at least eligible for a senior discount right? I then calmly said, no I have a $20 credit I had a $25 credit last week but there still is $20. He turned the screen around so I could see a blank screen and said no you have no credits. I purchased my cartridge then told the budtender to remove my name from their system I'm not coming back. It's too easy just to erase things from a computer no one has any proof after that happens and I'm not going to support folks who do this.I'm almost 70 I've been smoking marijuana and dealing with shady people to get that marijuana for 50+ years and like many I had hoped and thought when we went private and professional and legal that the scumbaggery would come to an end.

I used to love BASA - I've been coming here at least once per week since I turned 18, and up until recently, they'd never let me down. Their $25 eighths were always quality, their top shelf was among the best, and their budtenders were always friendly and knowledgeable. It was by far my favorite club in the city.However, since legalization, they've been slowly doing everything possible to lose my business. The budtenders, once friendly and helpful, have been slowly replaced by people who, quite frankly, don't seem to know much about the strains they're selling. The cheaper eighths that once set the standard for bang-for-your-buck are now dry, tasteless, and extremely low quality - I can buy a $15 dollar eighth from Eaze that will smoke better, get me higher, and cost less. However - the final straw occurred about 3-4 weeks ago when I called in to ask if they had any cheaper strains in stock. I was informed that they did not. I then remarked that their recent cheaper stuff had declined in quality and was told, in an extremely rude fashion, that I "would be back" because other dispensaries in the area were declining in quality as well. I am glad to say that I have not been back to BASA since that phone call. Even with BASA paying the tax for card-holders, I am able to get better quality flower for a lower price at other dispensaries. Harvest's $30/8ths are tastier, more potent, and make for a much better smoke. Eaze, a delivery service, has frequent deals and flower that goes as low as $15/8th. Even browsing the Weedmaps deals page has brought me better flower at better prices than BASA - something I never thought I'd say when I started coming here 6 years ago.So try BASA, sure. But once you realize that their cheap flower is no longer cheap, their top shelf flower is nothing special, and their prices are worse than most delivery services, try something else. You probably won't regret it.

First off I want to give a huge shoutout to my man Nas for always showing the best customer service! He is very knowledgeable about the different strains but most of all he makes the experience at BASA so much more enjoyable! BASA is a great place to purchase medication because it keeps me medicated throughout the day! I love coming to BASA and I would recommend it to all my family/friends!

I Definitely recommend going here this place is amazing and they have so many options to choose from but what I'm most impressed by is their staff especially the security guard he open the door for me he made sure everything was clean and wiped down and during Covid I noticed that he didn't let so many people in the building at one time and he made sure everybody was wearing their face masks and that's something I can really appreciate during these uncertain times. I have been going here for 13 years, and today I realized I am going to try other dispensaries. I don't think the bud tenders  actually enjoy working here. Every time I asked them a recommendation it's like pulling teeth.

PLEASE put a sign in your parking lot asking your customers not to block others. If there is no parking, find street parking, don't be a dick...I was verbally assaulted by a customer following me into the collective whom i asked not to block me. he came in verbally assaulting me, under his breath. then it got worse. i felt threatened and the staff didn't say ANYTHING to him. if it were my business, i would ban a man shouting obscenities at a woman in my business... the laughable part was when he called me a fuckin' hipster, in his man bun. i used to love this city. BASA please protect your customers who are being verbally assaulted in your business and ban those who can't shut the you know what up.edit: also interesting, most other bad reviews garner a response from someone...this one, not so much. NOT A GOOD LOOK that this collective did not care at all about a woman (or anyone?) in their establishment being verbally abused. i felt unsafe and unsupported. I have told many people about this experience and those people have told me they will not use your service. nothing to say aaron?

This happened today. Seriously, I live a couple of blocks from Basa and every time I visit, I seriously HOPE that I don't get one of your female workers to help me. The reason I say this is because every goddamn time I visit and I get her, she has no fucking clue what she's doing. I walk up to her and say "Hi how's it going?" to which she just replies a really vague "hi" to. Not very pleasant first impression. I ask her "Can I please see your GOOD FLOWER" as in the brand which is pretty clear, and she comes back with 4 different 8ths that isn't labeled as that brand. Like seriously? I have to point to her and say "THE ONE OVER THERE WITH ORANGE OR BLUE COLOR ON THE BOX". Are you fucking kidding me? And then I ask to see 1gr waxes, she turns towards the fridge where it is held, and she brings me out two, to which they turn out to be the exact same ones. I literally have to hold my temper and ask "Do you have any other ones?" and she says I DONT KNOW. She walks back to the fridge to open it, and then (I shit you not) asks her coworker "Is this wax?". LIKE ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME. Can you guys fucking train your workers to know what they are doing??? I could've done a better job then her, seriously it's so shitty that I have to go all that way to have that shitty of a budtender. When so many people come here daily, and spend that much money, we fucking expect a decent budtender to give us a good experience. Get your shit together BASA.

One of my worst experiences so far, two stars because the flower that I got was exactly what I wanted and bargain cheap.Daunting environment right off the bat with bullet proof glass between you and the representatives. So uninviting.When asked, they said no they didn't have any first-time customer gifts, nothing when everyone else gives free flowers, joints and paraphernalia.I didn't know exactly what I wanted and this seemed to irritate the guy helping me. My lack of knowledge about their menu was met with "huh!? What do y want!" As he peered at the line forming behind me.Kurt, rude and in a hurry. I got to give him credit though, what I described and ask for; he nailed it.BASA = booooo

This is the worst place ever. The girl with a flannel and wallet chain with dirty blonde spiked hair treated me as if I disrespected her, although I am the customer. All I requested was  for her to weigh my product again in front of me where I can see it, due to all the stems in the bag. She gave a snobby attitude and told me to leave although she had my money in her hand. I said very well I will leave , but please give me my money back. She proceeded to yell at me through the glass with her coworkers just watching and doing nothing to suppress her idiotic behavior. Then eventually she slid me my money and proceeded to harass me and my friends as we left the premises.

I'm writing this review to let u guys knows how bad the, " Lowell Smokers / Joint packs " are... there is no air flow and can't even smoke it right. They are wrapped uniquely, but Bc of no air flow, I'm pretty disappointed! You guys should bring the regulars $5 dollar joints back!

I came here to pick up my wife and parked across the street. A random lady walked up to the front of my car and took a picture of my car and the license plate. I stared at her as she walked away, but thought nothing of it.I noticed Basa had a parking lot, so I drove over to it so I could be closer for my wife. The lady who took a picture of my car happened to be there as well. I parked my car and minded my own business.The lady began to look nervous as if i was following her and told the security guard at Basa. They were speaking as she was pointing at my car. The security approached me told me to leave the parking lot. I asked why and he didn't have an answer and just said I had to leave because it was private property. I asked what this parking lot was for, knowing there were signs that read "Basa Customers Only". He told me he didn't have to tell me what it was for and to "Get the f*** off the lot"I told him my wife is a customer and I'm picking her up. I said I wasn't going anywhere. I explained that my wife was eating at the restaurant next door and coming to Basa right now.He had no interest in what I had to say, nor that we were customers. He continued to argue and threatened to call the cops. I yelled at him and gave him a big fat "F*** You, call the cops."I have darker skin and had a black hoodie on. I apologize for scaring the white woman into tell this white security guard with slick back hair.

Basa is a great neighborhood dispensary. Over the past year that I have been shopping here they have begun to make some improvements, to the actual dispensary as well as the products that they carry.IMHO the best dispensary as far as bang for your buck goes. I mean where else do you go for fat 5 dollar joints ? It's not top shelf but seriously go compare prices to other shops.Service for me is adequate. I go in get what I want and get out. Since recreational was legalized I see so many people with 101 questions for the budtenders. At least look at the menu while you in line.Well thats it for this review. Not as glitzy or glamorous as other shops but adequate.  The recent renovation and product upgrades show a willingness to invest back into the business. Hopefully this will lead to a even better BASA !

I don't know why this place has low stars. It's my neighborhood weed shop with a great selection and friendly workers. The prices aren't bad and you can get anything you want basically. Even their edible menu has grown and is pretty stable so for me that's a deal sealer. The lines generally aren't bad either.

Giving 1 star because "delivery" is curbside. No other dispensary in the city does this.

If you're the type of shopper that likes to compare each product and find the best price, Basa should be your go-to "price-checker" for cannabis products. They always have the best deals, and their staff is so wonderful, helpful, and friendly. If you have questions, see if Khaled is working. I've had the best experiences with Khaled, he's really willing to listen to his customers and is extremely kind!!!!! Basa is my go-to dispensary and I'm so grateful that I'm close enough in distance to always use them to purchase all of my cannabis products!!!! Thanks Basa and Khaled for being amazing.

I stopped using EazeUp delivery because there was one time they arrived so late that I was In fact late myself.I placed an order at 11:38 this morning and it is now 3:56 p.m nearly 4 hours later and I still have not received my delivery. I called the collective and the "assistance delivery manager" had a real snappy attitude. I made it clear that this would most likely be the last time I ordered there. She cut me off mid sentence to sarcastically congratulate me on my new choice. I offered her a chance to make it right and again cut me off saying "No thanks-- good day" still unwilling to listen. Yeah there stuff is cheap but there's many different and better collectives whom will always treat you with respect {FYI:  FoggyDaze Delivery= A+++}

More like BASURA am I right?!? It's like buying weed at the dmv. You can also expect the same quality of product and service as you would at the dmv. I won't go back unless it's an emergency.

Functioning Transactional Operations: 1 StarThey use only a single automated revolving menu on a wall screen which switches pages every 30 seconds.  Nothing to flip through and nothing to peruse in your hands.  Just when you think you narrowed it down while standing in line, the page switches.  Wait, who's turn is it?  You're confused as people are passing you by.  But I'm almost ready!  The page switches again.  Defeated, you take your rightful place at one of the cashier's windows.    * What would you like today?    - I'm almost ready, may I see the menu real quick?    * It's on the wall.  - In 30 seconds.  Diversity and Quality: 3 StarsPretty good number of options.  Few of them tested.  I tried four of their Plush strains and didn't much like any of them.  To be fair, I'm sure they have some nicer strains I've yet to try. VIP: 5 StarsThe security guardperson man.  He's awesome and I kinda want him to be my grandpa.  Considering poaching him.  Physical Design: 1 Star The walled-off design.  Makes me feel like I'm ordering Popeye's Chicken in Oakland at 2:30am.

Some other review called this the 7-11 of pot sales. It tanked so much I wouldn't give it that much credit.First time in since the renovation and looks like they put the focus on the bad Pier-1 interior over product and knowledgable staff. Asked if he had anything similar to a strain I typically buy and was told it was the wrong type and that I didn't know what I was talking about. Any other specific questions were turned to "how much do you want to spend?" then again after saying type is more important than cost, "well just tell me what you typically spend." Made a select and handed over my card as I always have - up until my last visit a month ago, which they accepted with a refundable fee. "We're cash only. Have been for a year dude. Sorry if it's your first time in a dispensary." Comedy.

Some of the employees are respectful but for the ones that aren't it's the managers duty to keep them accountable and aware of what they're bad service quality causes to people just trying to promote the business but more over BASA,s management team showed they're incompetency when asked to exercise those management skills, they simply froze & explained that "they're not aware of how they come off sometimes" the fact that's even a sentence is ridiculous and unprofessional .

Woooooooooooooooooow. Society must be in a decline if retail workers (Unfortunately for me I happen to be an expert in retail operations so I understand both sides of the counter ) can get away with such insolence. A simple inquiry of ' How much is the cheapest one gram cartridge of indica for a standard battery? ' really should not be responded to with ' The menu is right there. ' especially at about 1:30pm as that is much to early in the day to let such a bad attitude show. I should not need to explain I'm seeing impaired. There are too many other weed clubs in SF that don't employ incompetent workers. To the establishment's credit the individual who completed the transaction properly apologized on behalf of her associate.

Bought 8 1/8 tins of Prophet weed last night. Opened up this morning and all 8 tins were completely yellow and moldy...I looked at the tin and noticed on the label it was from an outdoor crop back in 2016.(Yes 2016)..Can you believe these guys are selling 3 yr old weed..Smoking this type of product will make you very sick...Absolutely disgraceful. I was a customer for yrs but not anymore. i'll be taking my business elsewhere...

Love the collective,super selection of exotic strains at the bestprices. They have made some upgrades to the shop, Likea security guard, which is a value added service and an assistto navigate the tiny parking lot. New crew is awesome and Ben(the chief) runs a good shop and I visit 2X weekly and get somegreat herb for about $15.00 per 1/8th. Also Basa gives MedicalCard holders 15% discount. The team seems more customer orientedand smiles all around.This is my favorite shop and feel very comfortable.Would highly recommend BASA. Big up to those that keep me up.

Long time customer, but I had to lower my rating:So I went in today and was turned away because they decided to stop using their registration system whereby you just check in with your ID. ID is no longer valid and you have to have your prescription or card on you at all times. Nice of them to tell me this AFTER I had withdrawn money from the ATM. Selection is variable. The stuff you like is in stock some weeks but not others. I've been going here because it's local, but I'd rather drive to a better dispensary now. I've spent hundreds, if not more here, and they start turning me away all of a sudden because they decided not to use their registration system anymore? Seems sketchy and it's also really crappy customer  service. No worries though - lots of other great and consistent dispensaries in SF.

I've been here a bunch with just showing my drivers license after the initial registration.Today I traveled for 30min to come here and was turned away because now they require you bring your recommendation.At least post on your website that you changed your rules.   What a waste of my time.

I bought the cheapest weed they had and it was great! This is a pretty big deal. I've bought weed on craigslist few times & in golden gate park sporadicly over the years so I know what shitty weed is. I also grow weed without spraying it and know what clean herb tastes like. Had my complaints about prop64 but it looks like regulation is making all the legal weed in SF good???Before 64 you could go to any dispensary & the cheap thing on the menu would be kinda dry & shitty. I dunno maybe there is still shitty legal weed in sf but am giving 5 stars because good deals, the line doesn't take forever, & quality.I took a risk buying cheap weed & you guys didn't let me down! I was actually surprised!PS: Us old people still like bubble hash. Hook us up!

BASA is the type of dispensary that I prefer. In and out and then I move on with the rest of my day. I don't need to feel like I'm in some gallery viewing priceless art like most of the other dispensaries in the city. If you want phoniness then there's plenty of other dispensaries in the city that can accommodate you. If you're old school, however and want to buy a quick sack or a J then this is the place for you. I truly appreciate the service that they provide to the neighborhood, and the rest of the city. Thanks BASA.

The only reason I come here is for the convenience. I thought I would give it another try after the remodel and was disappointed again. I was mis-quoted for two pre rolls by over ten dollars. I didn't notice the difference until after I left - due to the long line I was unable to get it taken care of at the time. Horrible customer experience. Go elsewhere, the city is booming with bud-tenders who know what they are selling.

Basa is the best cannabis dispensary in SF!!! The staff are super friendly and very helpful and make it easy for me to decide what I want to pick up for the rest of the week.

BASA gets the job done if you know what sort of medicine you prefer and need. It's not the place I would go to for a consultation. Super casual, one small room with two or three windows to order from. Line moves quickly because there's little chatting with your bud tender. I love that they have a parking lot. If I'm in the area and I need to pick up, it's easy and convenient to park, pop in, and grab what I need. tl;dr- great for a quick stop and conveniently located, but you're not going to get customer service here as much.

They've forgotten about the medical patients already.  Full blown 7-11 of pot sales.  Making pot legal will come back and bite the public in their arse.  Mark my words.

Even though they have good prices, be aware that the quality is quite shitty. Bought shatter and several other concentrates here, but quality is so low. Didn't end up smoking some of it as we were afraid that it was not processed properly. Shatter was sticky and liquid like as well. Furthermore, the environment they have created in their collective makes you feel rushed and stupid, not welcoming to any questions or concerns.

The BASA collective is great.  I would be giving it 5 stars across the board but unfortunately they decide to hire people who are not very knowledgable to the medicine they have there.  There are a few who really know their stuff.You order with the sales associate behind bullet proof glass.  There is a waiting area and you can even bring a friend in who is a non patient.  Pretty cool!  The big screen mounted on the wall will list all the prices, strains and there is even an iPad to give a more detailed menu with pictures.QUALITYThe quality here is amazing.  Even the strains that are super cheap and don't look as good are good, especially if you just want to get stoned.  The top shelf bud is exquisite and grown perfectly.  For true medicinal users, this is the way to go!  Blue Dream and Bleu Cheese are my favorites here.Yes, there is a small parking lot.

Used to come here everyday after work. got there at 9:52 and they had cones up and refused to serve me because they said they were closed wit a line of 10 people but the website says 10. I rode the buss for 25min  they do not care about there long time customers now that rec weed is legal. I have spent 40 or 50$ 5days a week here and this is how im treated will not be back. not that they care lol.

I just had the best experience in BASA! The girl with the blue hair and cute nails helped us out and was so sweet. She had the best recommendations and really made me and my boyfriend's day. We will definitely be back to BASA for the amazing customer service and incredible products.

Horrible. Called to check on my order and they said they cancelled it because there were two orders with the last name "Nguyen" and it confused them. It was early in the night (9pm) and they refused to acknowledge their mistake. Told me I could reorder at 10am. I've been a faithfulCustomer since the beginning but I will never go back after this experience. Don't waste your time!!!!

This is and has been my favorite dispensary in SF. They have good weed at good prices and are reasonable with their customers. More reasonable than any other cannabis club. Their customer service is great and they have good hours. Thanks for always being there BASA!

I've been there many, many times..every week to be clear.Last time they mistreated my friend..and then myself. Please get a security guy in the door!! this is pretty basic everywhere when dealing with permits and weed! The braided african american girl was screaming on us. You know it doesn't make any difference..but you won't have my money and service anymore. My friend doesn't speak English and since I took too long to shop, she went inside just to see what was happening. The girl told to leave..ok, I agreed and translated to her. The girl was leaving and the braided girl still been an a****. Hey guys, we understood, sorry...she is opening the door and leaving..but the braided girl is not satisfied and still screaming. This is the kind of thing that makes me not going there anymore. I gave up and went to Apothecarium and spent $200 there. One person, one employee can finish your business. Be aware!!

This club is awesome. They know how to shop for their customers. I go here just about everyday and the people are not only friendly, but they are knowledgeable of the product they are selling and if they haven't tried it before you, they're honest about it. If you're only looking to spend 8$ you can still get a gram of good bud and an eighth of super bomb can still be in the 25$ range! I used to go out of my way for other clubs until I found BASA! SFs number one club for all your medicinal needs!

Reasonable prices, and vast selection. Only place within 100 mile radius that would see me only a California id# fresh from the dmv but no California  picture ID. Best selection of canabis I've seen so far. Knowledgable staff and great hours as well. This place has it all.

Not your traditional dispensary. No membership, just your CA ID and doc reco. Fast and quick services. Excellent selection for THC and CBD needs including but not limited flowers, edibles, tinctures, topicals and I must say the best Top shelf shake in the bay and they always have IT!! Ill be by there today, TRUST!!

The location has greatly improved over the last year. There are now a couple of very creative restaurants close to the dispensary and that creates more activity on the blocks nearby which makes coming and going to BASA more safe than before because the people who sit at these cafes are mostly normal looking local residents. In the past you could exit BASA and there would be nobody outside which was not very safe. As of summer 2015 they have somewhat greater selection than before and the employees behind the glass are more enthusiastic and friendly than when I visited about 1.5 - 2 years ago. The place is tidy and clean. Most importantly BASA has a wide selection of cheaper but still very good quality medications as well as very nice top shelf stuff. They similarly have about 5-10 varieties I've only seen in their cooperative. The place truly deserves 4 or 5 out of 5 stars. It isn't a lounge space because it does not have space for it  when there is frequently a line. At any point there are at least two people assisting customers. Today I've seen three. Selection of concentrates and edible medications is pretty good. Not as much edible options as other places but I don't see a problem with that since they're not as popular as everything else. Parking is usually available at their small parking lot. If it is full it is also not very difficult to find it around the block. Ps: they can also give you a green color medicine bottle, but you have to ask about it.

Great Place, great people that work their and wonderful products. However, they need to be a lot better at keeping their website up-to-date. For shoppers who want to buy ahead it is very frustrating to get there and they don't have what is on their website. There is an item I want and their website says that they have it, but they haven't had it for a couple of weeks.  ugh.....Other than that I recommend this place very much. I love it and love their products. Warm and friendly, easy to see menu, and you can occur bonus points if you check in to get discounts! And they have Specials everyday, that run weekly!!!  It's my favorite place it go.

This review is for delivery via Meadow.com.   Basa has by far the best selection of any delivery service in San Francisco.   This is really important to me as most delivery services I have tried thus far are very limited and do not carry the right medication for my health needs.I had a bit of a hickup uploading my ID and the collective was just fantastic helping me to get set up virtually and staying in contact through the process.   The interaction was great and they just seemed to really care about their customers.   Delivery times are expedient and friendly.   This is absolutely my new go-to service.

Amazing prices/deals. Customer service depends on who you get. Some are helpful, friendly and awesome. Others like today, condescending and rude. Love the place, but don't count on any consistency on how they treat you. Great deals though!

Basa Collective is fabulous resource for the local community. I like them because they offer great service at a very reasonable price. With the new laws, things can be very confusing. The diverse staff patiently answers my questions and matches me with the right bud for my unique needs. Also, their high grade shake is the best deal in town. I can't begin to say enough good things about this place! Maybe it's because I'm stoned...

Pretty tough to piss off people that are stoned and happy, but they find a way. Too many examples to list, i will walk on my hands for 10 blocks to get my stuff from now on, BASA is garbage.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I have been coming here for over a year & half. They have really made some awesome improvements over the months. I'm impressed with how it just keeps getting better! They have a parking lot, big screen TVs that display all the strains/oils/pre-rolls...great bud selections and a very nice price points ($25-50 1/8th).  Large selection of edibles: hard candy, Korova & Bliss bars/cupcakes, cotton candy, plus more! I have found that BASA sells their edibles cheaper then most dispensaries in town. Also, you get a free joint on your birthday. The staff is always friendly and willing to talk shop or recommend a product.  I never feel rushed. Plus there is a mascot, German Shepard named Tigger :) BASA hours are also a big reason I go here, open until 10PM! 9 on Sunday's. Check it out if you haven't!

This place is AMAZING!!!!!  Love the staff which are very helpful & knowledgeable about the medicine. They will take care of you from $1 to $320, there is sometging for everyone here. BASA a no frills kinda place. I LOVE BASA!

Dirty store, poor customer service. Selection  is SEVERELY lacking in all departments. Place smells like piss and weed(not good weed either). Needs a overhaul of staff/facilities/product. I hate talking through ballistic plastic. Pretty trashy spot.

Been visiting BASA for 2 years and still love how fast and convenient it is :)  some of the items have risen in price but i guess thats to be expected.  Good $25 eighths and oz deals!  also pretty good prices on edibles for sf.  (i usually get Korova black bars, the disposable vape cartridges  or whatever $25 eighths seem good.)

I would recommend to those especially in the panhandle/inner richmond area.

Wow. Where do I begin? Use to be my FAVORITE delivery, but now, I don't even know what to think. I ordered this AM at 11:30 and they said max delivery 2 hours (confirmation number sent via email). 2 hours later no word, called their number, busy signal. It's 11:15pm at night and still no acknowledgment of my order. Will never recommend you guys again and completely weirded out about no follow up and the non working phone number. BOY BYE!!!! #SKETCH

Surprisingly good cannabis delivery service. Compared of course to the 1.5hr to 2hr wait for some other places. I got my order in about 40 mins. Drivers are cool, courteous and never make the customer feel uncomfortable in any way. Full marks for professionalism. I will take one point away for low stock on some items. Other than that this club is great. If you do go in person to the storefront, then it is even better. No bs with cocky or affected staff there as with some other clubs. Just a breeze to get in and get out with no hassle from rude security guards. On your way to a nice toking experience. Little do clubs know that cannabis consumers are quite sensitive to everything to do with their purchase. A moment of unease as with a rude bud tender or security guard is enough to ruin the whole experience. Thank you BASA for always providing a nicer than usual experience. For that I will up my total here to 5 stars .

This is my new go to dispensary.-Fast easy registration process-Great selection of flowers, very nice high and and even better a very high quality budget section-Hash hash hash hash, they have the best prices if you're a dabber-Edibles are great too, BASA jollies are like $3 and pack a punch-Clean and well maintained-Location: Great if you're downtown or in the richmond, a little tougher for the sunset but well worth the trek.-The hours; They are open until 10!

Well I just had a terrible experience there and ended up walking out feeling humiliated and offended. The girl "bud tender" who helped me (an african american woman) was totally rude and condescending and made me feel super uncomfortable. I suffer from anxiety and insomnia and she was in no way helpful to my needs and actually elevated my anxiety. She basically made me feel like an asshole for even asking any questions and became super impatient with me, immediately asking to see my card. I'm licensed and legal and I'll never step foot in that dipsensary again even though it's two block from my house. I hope she gets fired.

This is more a review for the delivery I was expecting and the lack of customer service for never following up with me for THEIR mistake.I have been a client of BASA for a few years now, and the customer service has definitely gotten better. Some of the girls that work there have really bad attitude problems, but I've just learned who to interact with and who not to. When I learned that Basa started a delivery service I was super stoked. Bummed that you can't get everything via delivery that you could get in store, but regardless, pretty damn stoked.Prices are a couple of bucks cheaper than Apothecarium which makes me a happy girl. I placed a quick order for delivery a few days ago, paid full in cash and the delivery guy was off and away. When I went inside I realized that they forgot to throw in something that I paid for.I tried calling their delivery line and got the answering machine every single time, I wrote an email, and no one ever followed up. Since I paid money for something I never received I simply asked for a credit or anything to make up for it. No one ever got back to me, and after several attempts of trying to get ahold of someone, I simply gave up.I know that the delivery service is something new that BASA is offering, and I am on board with it but please, please hire someone with some customer service/admin experience that can help you when these situations arise.

The product is good and decently priced. You can buy by the gram or dollar amount. No frills, to the point, you're in, you're out.  ; P

Been coming here for five plus years but unfortunately I'm never coming back. I pulled into the parking lot and parked the same way I always have probably hundreds of times. Some guy comes up to my car and insists I turn around and back in or "You won't be able to get out of the lot." I assure him that I'll be able to get out as I've done many, many times before. But no. He demands that I turn around or I won't be able to get into the club. Really guys? Come on. Petty stuff like this is ruining clubs all over the city. I hope they chill out and start treating their customers that have been going there for years a little better. What a shame, used to be my go to spot. Never again.

I live down the street from Basa so I often times find myself there once or twice a week. Still though everytime I go I still have to prove that I know what Im talking about or they will compeltly dismiss my questions or they will charge me extra or not give me my full order. When I've called them out in the past I've recieved responses like "oh so you actualy do smoke" .. hmm like no I just like to buy the weed the promptly throw it out as soon as I leave the dispo. Or even once when I told them I liked satvia they treid to sell me an indica.  I guess I just dont look like someone who smokes often so they always try to rip me off when im buying in large quanities. I'm sick of having to call them on their bullshit. Will start commuting to new dispos soon where I dont have to prove my smoking ability to be treated with care.

I've been a customer for 5 years, and recently spent several hundred dollars in the store.  The product looked to be real, but it absolutely was NOT.  It sparkled when you lit it, kind of like a small explosion.  It made my lips sting.  Most importantly it had absolutely no effect on me, and several of my friends who tried it.  We called back a few days later to complain because we had spent a lot of money, but they refused to do anything about it (even though we are regulars and drive 30 minutes to get there twice a month).  I'm not sure what it was they sold me, but some type of CHEMICAL was definitely making it spark and there was NO THC.  They 100% lost my business and I have not been back since.  If there's one thing I can't stand...it's HORRIBLE customer service.  I've spent thousands of dollars there, and totally believe I should have been treated better than that.I used to go there for the cheap prices and good selection, but peace of mind that I'm not smoking pesticides is so much more important to me!!!

This was the first dispensary I've ever visited, so keep that in mind while reading this review. I had to wait for a few minutes to be helped, but once the staff member came over he was very helpful in guiding me to make informed purchase decisions about edibles and flowers. They seem to have an excellent selection as far as I could tell on all fronts (edibles, flowers, oils and budders). Despite this being my first dispensary visit, I felt less anxious once the staff member came over to help me. This location is very near my house, so I anticipate that I will visit regularly - overall I had a good experience. I would recommend this clinic to my friends.

BASA rocks! I just purchased a medicine delivery and could not be more pleased with the results. I had absolutely no trouble setting it up online with my documents and information, but just in case I called in to make sure everything went through. I was greeted on the phone by a helpful employee that assured me that everything is ready for takeoff! In less than an hour, I was given my delivery by a nice gentleman and BASA even threw in a free gift! Y'all are the bomb dot com! I will definitely be using BASA for all my future medicine delivery needs. Thanks for making my day!

I LOVE BASA Collective! I had a horrible experience at The Hemp Center on Geary...which is actually way closer to where I live.  Thus making my experience at BASA all the more refreshing. They treated me as an actual customer rather than an intruder (at The Hemp Center...grrr).Very professional environment, clean, friendly and educated staff.  Good product....great hours.  Can't ask for more!

If you value your health, stay away from Basa. I registered with basa last wednesday and bought a $70 quarter of Berry White. Although I noticed that none of their buds are stored properly, the two pieces the budtender showed me looked good. the fact that he fished around in the plastic bin for a while before choosing a sample to show me should have been a red flag. When I got home and broke up a few of the buds, I realized they were not only of extremely poor quality, but completely unsafe for human consumption. All but the smallest pieces were full of brown bud rot mold and bits of dead leaf. In the largest bud, I found black and grey mold as well as several dead insects which appeared to be gnats. At that point, I threw the entire quarter in the trash. I thought about going back to attempt getting a refund or exchange, but I realized that it was preferable to throw it away and never set foot in that establishment again.  I hate to waste 70 bucks, but this was absolutely disgusting. Coming from a supposed "medical" dispensary, this is inexcusable. I would also note that there is no gift upon sign up. Stay away.

I've been coming here for years, so much so I and a lot of the employees on a first-name basis. This will be the first time that I am totally in disgust with this cannabis club. They really need to improve a lot of things here this place has totally gone to shit. They really need better parking for the customers seeing that this is a dispensary for people who have medical needs I shouldn't be rushed to get my medication so the next person can pull their car out. Due to me standing in line for a Unnecessary amount of time I was denied my medication because I had to move my vehicle even though the person could fit through. Once again I said that I have been coming here for years so that means everybody knows me quite well so I have never once came in irate or rude once in the many years that I have been going to this club, but today I have had really bad back problems and headaches that I just can't seem to get rid of and because I have a Tylenol allergy. I choose to go the holistic way for my medication. And I'm still in pain due to some asshole denying me of my medication, odds are I probably won't go back here again and if I do it won't be for a long while I feel like that was totally uncalled for and a little bit racist because he helped every white person in the line but then when it came down to me a black woman I had to stop what I was doing to move my car even though the car had already left out of the parking lot he still denied me my medication so yeah we had a few words blah blah big deal but if you knew your customers like how you were supposed to then you would have known that something was not right or I was in an extreme amount of pain for me to be totally out of character the way that I was I am not giving you an apology for anything if anything I'm owed an apology for all of this I spend a lot of money in this place and for me to be treated like this is totally uncalled for. So  once again think twice before you go in here besides the club that deliver give way better deals than they do anyway!!!!

I love BASA.  I've been coming here for 4 years now.  They have a generous selection of edibles and strains.  Their prices are reasonable.  Every once in a while they give free samples which is always a sweet gesture.  On your birthday, they give you a free joint.The staff is very very friendly.  I love these guys....well everyone except the old dude with the white hair.  He can be moody.  But everyone else is professional, knowledgable & always welcoming.  They are always willing to answer any questions you have regarding their products.  The location is great.  The hours even better!  Don't forget to say hi to Tigger, their friendly German Shepard :)  You must check out BASA if you are in the neighborhood!2 thumbs up and a samba booty shake from your friendly neighborhood local and BASA regular..

Never saw weed with fleas before. Which would be okay if fleas ate mildew, but they don't and there's the rub. Tobacco has Basics. Cannabis Basa... now we getcha... And jeez is there a No toothbrush rule over there. There.... it had to be said. But if you enjoy that slightly bleachy taste of burning up black mildew spores this is the spot.

**This 5 star rating is based on comparing to other dispense-only clubs that don't have a lounge.  I have a different goal when I go into a club with a lounge, and different standards for measuring.+1 They offer the most effective and cheapest (by liquid volume) alcohol based tincture I've ever had, "Humboldt Infusions" peppermint flavored.  It is 1/2 the price of other tinctures I've tried (some labelled as "triple strength") which are far less effective.+1 The other day I walked in and said "I want your best cured sativa or sativa-dominant hybrid, something that smokes really well."  The response was Green Candy - and in the pipe it was as advertised - better cured than anything I've had in the last 3 months.+1 for measuring and packaging on-demand.+1 for having good security and being well-lit+1 for location - closest to my neighborhood which is devoid of other options--UPDATE--- 1 for not knowing the process by which their extracts are made- 1 for selling me an extract which did not have all the solvent boiled out of it (I made my own extracts with solvents for years, I know whats up)

I am a fan of BASA -- I think they offer good product at a fair price. That said, something is going on there that may not be quite right. I asked for a receipt the other day, and it showed my $300 ounce as $200. That likely means that either BASA or the taxman isn't getting all their money.

Their delivery service is terrible. They said the delivery would arrive in an hour and it ended taking 3 hours and I only live 5 minutes away. Worst delivery service I have used in SF, avoid at all costs.

The two times I've been there I've dealt with the blond tall woman who has no knowledge of the products they are selling. She was texting on her phone the entire time I was trying to get medicine. Absolutely no customer service. Bottom line go to some else's window.

This place is fairly standard. The prices could be a little bit better due to the lack of services. I would like to see more features for the patients. The budtenders can be sassy but they will warm up, especially if you are a regular.

BASA used to be my go-to neighborhood spot for affordably priced medicine. & Now sadly, it looks like I'll have to find a new one. Since the law changed on Jan 1st though, it feels like the business has totally shifted it's focus, the high grade shake & various other affordably priced options have since completely disappeared from the menu, without any kind of replacement option. The cheapest option on he menu at the moment, would have been middle of the price range 6 months ago. The message to me as a customer, seems to be, "loyal customers who counted on us for years for affordable medicine can GTFOH, the law changed, we sunk a ton of money into renovating our trailer, & now we're exclusively after top-shelf, tech-yuppie money." Yet another small, sad sign of the times in SF. very disappointing from a place that brands itself as "Bay Area Safe Access". I guess we're all paying for that tacky as hell, still looks like trash anyway, portable building remodel.

First off, it's a dispensary, not a five-star spa hotel. Who cares how "cool" or "friendly" the employees are? Do they have to be friends with their customers? Who cares if it looks like a ghetto gas station? What, are you taking your date there for a picnic or something? Sure, it helps if your club has nice people and doesn't look like a laundromat, but, uh, these guys make available for your consuming pleasure a SOLID $25 1/8th of way better stuff than anyone else left on the scene (Shambs, I'd be looking yer way if you still had anything under $35 - and don't even get me started on the quality of the stuff I got @ the Apothecarium for a "compassionate" price the last time I went). Haven't had the concentrates, so can't judge; don't plan to, since other places like Grass Roots have the hash on lockdown. One of the reviews mentioned tasting impurities in his, so I am definitely staying away. Raspberry edible was decent (and fairly potent for only being 2 "doses" - I wasn't trying to go all-out, but someone with a lighter tolerance might totally get their dome scorched).Oh, did I mention this place was open until 10?! That's a HUGE plus, considering the criminally overpriced Ketama was like the only place left that stays open that late!After the Man shut Market St. Co-op down and after a fire above 208 Valencia put that coffee shop/dispensary out of commission, this place is really the only successor to those awesome clubs. So quit your whining about the decor and the wait staff and get some cheap, high-quality grass.

So I decide to try this spot out one last time and when I say last I mean it this time, I wish there was a place besides this to air my complaints so that the owners would get a clue! First and foremost where do you get the gall to charge top dollar for crap weed, I mean come on there are straight fan leaves attached still I don't buy my medicine to have to trim it my self if I did want to I would grow my own! I also know that most clubs keep the standards and tell the growers to go back and trim it better before they bring it back in! I am tempted to go out there with a picket sign and directions to a better club with meds that are top quality when there being priced as so!I don't blame the staff I blame the owners and buyers. get a clue know your product!!It is really saddening to me to know that there is a school within a couple of blocks and you guys are still open. When there was a co - op close by that got shut down because of a dog park.best of luck to your staff, but honestly I hope you guys get shut down!!!

I've been here twice, it's not too bad. They are one of the clubs that offer a dabber's delight for about $15, and they also had a gram of a house OG for $15, which I'm a fan of. I haven't tried their "high grade" buds (or any, for that matter) so I can't comment on them, but the house wax I got was decent. For that price, it was great.There are two things that I didn't like about my experience here. The budtender who helped me last time was the same one who had helped me the first time. She's a very nice lady. However, the second time there I asked her a question about the house blend wax mentioned above. After being unable to answer any specific questions about it, I finally asked, "well, what can you tell me about it?" The response was, "I can't tell you anything about it....I don't know anything about it." The response wasn't "let me find out" nor did she seem at all apologetic for the fact that she didn't know a damn thing about what she is handing over to patients as medicine.Thusly, my recommendation is to go here if you're confident about what you want to get.

Please beware of this place, for your own health and safety. The first time I went there, last week, I bought some mid-grade weed, I think it was O.G. Kush. But when I took it out of the bag, it was so crispy and over-dry, it practically disintegrated at my touch. But I remained positive, and rolled up a joint. I have a medical condition which I use this medicine to treat. But alas, I felt no affect at all.  I'm not a big complainer,  so I went back, and purchased their best Blue Dream, and paid top dollar for it. It looked great, and smelled okay. I went home, and put some in my pipe, and took a few tokes, but it tasted funny. I put my reading glasses on, and was shocked and horrified to find tiny black mites ALL over the herb!! I didn't smoke anymore, but alas, it was too late. I came down with the worst sinus infection I have ever had. I am not sure if it was the non-organic pesticide they used, to kill these mites, that caused it, or the actual mites them-selves, or the mildew which was cabbage colored and brown, which was also all over the tainted budds. Isn't there a Health and Safety Inspector that inspects these places? If so, they need to be notified so other vulnerable and frail people like myself dont also fall ill. Patients need to be protected from incidents like this. I am still fighting this infection, day seven :( Shame on you, BASA!

Prices are right. Their top shelf bud never disappoints and they have a great selection of edibles and medicones.There's a super friendly guy with glasses who always greets me with a smile when I walk in, but some of the girls who work there are unnecessarily rude.Overall it's great because of how convenient it is; in my hood and open late.

I've been going to this cannabis club for years. They have a wide range of options at various price points. I ordered delivery yesterday and I was pretty happy with my purchase.

This place has gotten a lot better since I started coming here. Which is why I wanted to write a review about it. I've been in SF for five years, lived in the Haight and Nopa for most of it. I used to go to this dispensary every now and then, but it wasn't really on my radar. Over the past couple months I've seen some great changes and now I come here all the time. The biggest change I've seen is in the bud tenders. I was shooting the shit with one, as she was very enthusiastic and friendly, but she also knew her stuff. She recommended some higher CBD edibles and flowers and explained in great detail how CBD effects your brain compared to THC. Very educational and very good stuff. I've noticed the selection has gotten better as well. Even the cheaper strains I've had have been high quality. I've had a few edibles from here, which I'm not usually that into, and they've been top notch. The inside is well maintained and kept clean, and you can see that they store their product well. Most importantly, they don't skimp on the amount you get. Haven't had an issue with light 1/8's or 1/4's. I also really enjoy that they participate in compassion. It shows me they care about the community that they're a part of. I'd highly recommend this collective to anyone in the area, or anyone looking for high quality medication and a collective run by friendly and knowledgeable people.

AVOID! As another commenter put it, "this dope ain't dope"- what you get at BASA is bad product at high prices, poor selection, with a side of bad attitude. No free gift upon signup; their Kiva bars are $2-4 more each than other dispensaries (this may be the case with other edibles, I only grabbed a few Kivas).  What really cheesed me off (as I later discovered) was that they stick a barcode on you actual recommendation card without even asking!  On mine, they half-covered the doctor's signature. Nice.

My favorite dispensary in all of San Francisco.  Excellent selection at every visit, dynamite staff and very affordable. Although I live out of the area, I will make a special trip to SF just to shop here.

very poor customer service. the girl there needs to go!! very very rude!! she looked irritated for no reason. i don't know what her problem was. i don't wanna call her racist but she really made it seem like she was.she had dark black hair, not sure the name Because it was first and last time here., you can't be having people like that. we were about to get our order but i decided not to even purchase from this place (I was ready to spend $600.00) cause of her i rather give my money to someone else that's not going to be rude and acting up for no reason!! like i said she needs to go!!!seems like you can't be asking questions about the product.not a good look at all for the business!! will never come back and i will get the word out!!i really really hope her boss sees this and has a talk with her!! i went to another dispensary called "the apothecarium in San Francisco" and let me tell you!! their customer service was the best ive ever experience and i travel! but over all theee worst dispensary ever!!! just cause you'r stuff is cheap and wack dont mean am gonna take your shit! get your money's worth people!! they run the business with our money so if people are not treating you right dont give them your money. 03/13/17 I was having a phenomenal day until I made the decision to order rom basa. After I placed my order I got a call from a basa employee who was either having a really bad day or hated his job because he was hostile, aggressive, and sarcastic. I then went to meet the driver where he made me walk a good 5 minutes just to meet him. He repeatedly threatened to cancel the order when I told him I was on my. HANDS DOWN BASA IS NOT THE WORST DISPENSARY IVE EVER BEEN TO IN THE BAY AREA

This is my place when I need some good buds at a very reasonable price. The staff is excellent I always come in here and get great service. If your looking for some good inexpensive meds the I suggest you go here.

Finally found cheeba chews, here at this dispensary. Good prices on flowers, edibles, and concentrates! Will return for sure.

consistent quality medicine, ($20-25 1/8s at 17% THC) nice selection of hash and keif, also cheapest edibles in the city, Not the highest security or medical influence, Staff is average to any business, not the overly animated budtender persona. overall recommend and its vital this place stays open in this time of changing laws.

Definitely the best "bang for your buck" they have the same bud strains as some other dispensaries at $10-15 cheaper. I have never had a bad customer service experience but i usually don't bother with too many questions. Also they have given me free stuff a couple times so i really cant complain about anything! I did take off one star because they always give me baggies and it is almost never labeled. I like the medicine bottles because i carry stuff with me and i like labels but thats just me. I really like the smallness of it, never really too crowded and they still let you look at/smell whatever you want. Overall its pretty much the only place i go unless i want to hang at a lounge(not very often though, im too busy). Bonus for late hours!!

This club blows! I went in to buy an openvape cartridge for my vape pen. It was early, no one was there, and the at the counter seemed to be rushing to get me in and out, which I don't like when I'm trying to make a thoughtful purchase. In addition he didn't seem to know much about the bud, or vape pens that he sold me. It seemed like he was reading a script of sales prices rather than making me feel like he knew what he was talking about. Also, often I go there to buy cartridges and they are broken or won't work. And when I've gone back to exchange them, they have been really rude and almost defensive about returning the money or exchanging the product. And they don't do industry discounts!

Quality just isn't there. They used to be open till 10 and that was incredibly useful so close to me, but now it's only open until 9. Might as well go to Medithrive on Mission where they have amazing quality or Mr. Nice Guy who is open till 10.

It's right on the corner of Grove and Divisadero, and you can park in the parking lot for free. The place is a big trailer basically, with the bud tender working from behind a plexiglass window. It feels a little impersonal, but the man working there is really friendly, and he will pass things through the hole for you to look at, so it's really not that limiting.They have tumble hash for $10, and also hash oil for $25 (which is the cheapest I've seen in the city). They have pills, and edibles as well.I picked up a gram of trainwreck, which was gorgeous and a great smoke. Grade A goes for 16/g which is midrange price wise. I recommend coming to this lesser known club because they have some classic strains, which are sometimes harder to find at other clubs.Probably 16 or so strains, going for A grade down to C. They only have a few B and C grades, but are much cheaper if you're on a budget.

Hands-down worst service I have ever had TWICE. We have been here two times and both have ended in walking out while asking why the hell we spent money here. Never again. I'm never going back. I've had two girls help me and each one was beyond rude and near insulting. Rolling their eyes and tossing product at me like I'm taking time out of their day. I'm outraged by the horrific customer service and I'm telling EVERYONE I know about it.

LAME!! 1st and last time going here, u walk in and it's like a gas station in the middle of the hood @ 3 in the morning with a giant bullet proof glass window. The girl behind the counter had no idea about the medication she was providing and was just generally unpleasant. It looks like they have a decent selection but why even bother when there are SO many other alternatives to this weak ass place. Don't waste your time with this spot unless you have to..

today was my first time going to this collective. It was THE worst experience I ever had at a club. The people were not very friendly, welcoming or helpful. The woman who started to wait on me was extremely full of bad additude and rude. I mistakenly handed over my City College ID and she snapped at me "I can't do anything with your city college card" I have glaucoma and don't see well. I have made this mistake at other places and had never been treated so horrible. Other places have always been so nice and understanding. On top of her rudeness, she wanted to argue with me that she wasn't being rude. Clearly, she has no idea what good cutomer service is. I would never go back there.

first of all most of the collective are run by a bunch of young dizzy  people who would get high from holding their breathe....so what if the employees don,t always smile(you wouldn't smile either after a bunch of picking customers) ..BUT AS A OLD TIMER (ME)THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST VALUE AROUND ,EASY PARKING  THEY DO NOT PRE-WEIGH THE BAGS  like other collectives.and the effects of the meds are great...and i shop from the 25 dollar menu  that just  kicks a.......! im very happy i gave this place a second look,and im happy ...... the hours are great,,,thanks too the staff,,the manager,why go any where else. i read these reveiws, and i say too these people , i went too every collective that advertised on weed maps with their specials ,and there is no a better deal then B.A.S.A

This was my main spot when I lived in SF good selection and get what you pay for prices. The 20-25 hash is usually bomb Ogre is/was a great one.

Not sure why there are so many haters on here about this place. And the chick that wants a hookup? What are you talking about? Does Safeway hook you up? I don't think so. First off, I have been coming here weekly for  3 years. A car accident left me with 3 options recommended by my doctor- either get my spine fused, pain med's for life, or try medical marijuana to manage the chronic pain. My Dr.  said do you wanna be on Morphine the rest of your life, or do you want to try pot. Frankly I was not a believer in marijuana, but it seems to be the most cost effective, AND work the best on the pain. They have super reasonable prices, GREAT customer service, the owner is super friendly, it's clean,  and well lit. The girls in there have been nothing but nice and helpful, it even has parking- what more could you want?? The clubs on Haight are so overpriced it's sick. Vapor Room- I'm talking about you first and foremost.   I would highly recommend this place to anyone, actually, I don't go anywhere else but here now.

Basa collective is not the problem in this review. I have been a client of theirs for quite some time. I recently moved and I was looking to get it delivered. Simple right?  It is the delivery portion of their services that is the issue. Unfortunately, I had to speak with a self proclaimed manager. (I only found this out when I requested to speak with her manager regarding her attitude and was actually hung up on after she took my order and refused to tell me the time at which I should be expecting this delivery and the cost, which I could guess but still.) she had the worst customer service skills/attitude I have ever dealt with and she goes by the name of Jill. I would like to never deal with her again and I thought it only necessary to tell people because as much as I personally cannot stand yelp (like seriously) I could not stand that lady even more. I have never been through so much trouble just ordering one little thing.

Can't complain nice folks in a good neighborhood

This is arguably the best dispensary in San Francisco. The selection is great, the staff is knowledgeable, and best of all they give discounts if you live in the neighborhood. It ends up being one of the least expensive dispensaries in the city. I'd recommend it to anybody.

Honestly, I would love to give a 5 star rating because the products are great, the vibe is great, and 99% of the staff is amazing, but one security guard is so rude and has the WORST superiority complex i've ever seen all because he's "head" of security. I've come to this dispensary around 60 times and never have an issue unless it's with him. I'd recommend coming later in the day if you don't want to deal with him. Besides him, everything is great and they almost always have what I'm looking for. Shoutout to the manager for making things right and giving me a free pre-roll for the trouble the security guard caused. 4/5 stars

I came in here for the first time last month and I honestly don't know I waiting this long to find this gem in my neighborhood. I've heard really good things from friends and I walked in and was given excellent customer service. Staff is really hospitable and helpful with their menu selections. I'm looking forward to coming here again!

Basa is a nice, local dispensary with a good selection and good prices.  They serve both medical patients as well as recreational.  All in all, they're a good "go to" place.

Great place.  Great prices.  Great service.   That's all you can ask.  They always answer phone calls.  They are always curtious and eager to help.  Number of times they have set aside product for later pick up.  Overall a great experience.

BASA has really great customer service! Nadra was really nice and sweet right from the start! Helped with all my questions about certain brands and getting the best quality stuff in my price range. Really been feeling the recommendations on all the cannabis flower and joint they have. Highly recommend!!

This crew is great. Super chill from guard to general staff. They remember their regulars and always tell about the good deals, and often remember what type of weed you like. All around good spot to swing by especially after a difficult shift.

Great selection at a reasonable price. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help and recommend products. Very large selection of edibles and they also have deals for locals. They also have dog treats so my dog love going there

I've been shopping here for years and notice their progression!!!  The club has a way bigger selection and more knowledgeable budtenders.  They also now accept cards along with cash.  Seriously, it was like visiting heaven today.  Thanks for the free gift with purchase.  Basa For Life!?!?!?!

I had such a great experience here at Basa! I live in the city but usually go to a different spot, but I'm stoked I popped in here.  I had lots of questions and the girl helping me was so patient, knowledgeable, and just made me feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer (thanks Jada!!) Great selection of products and decent prices, I will definitely be back !!
