I Love Barbary!! Always my go to right after work! the dab bar and smoke lounge is nice and everybody is always so helpful!

January something 2020, first time ever getting high. Hybrid joint + blueberry edibles, ended up having to leave hard rock at the pier because i got too high. Don't get me wrong it, 100% my fault for not going easy as a first timer but i was safe watching the NBA in the lounge and just enjoying San Fran. If i ever find myself back in the city, and if you are like me and wanna try a lovely dispensary, BARBARY COAST is the go to spot!

Visiting from Philly.  I ordered delivery twice.  Their prices are great.  Excellent service.  Their $1 Mystery Gift first time got me a bottle of sleep tincture.  Second Gift was a pre-roll.  And they honored my senior discount.  See ya soon!

This was an awful experience. Many of us waited in line at Barbary Coast dispensary; having been promised that the FIRST 96 CUSTOMERS would receive a $1 1/8.  [Sherbinski]Instead they had us first 100 wait outside then told us it didnt even exist when we came in!After we came in.After we waited.Trickery.I politely asked for what I came there for, but was instead accused of causing problems and THREATENED with-but not by security who is always friendly and professional there.THENThe manager, angrily mumbling at me about this hands me what?A $1 Sherbinski 1/8.??Okay. Now lets do it the right way:Step one: Always keep up with your promos. Make sure you, and the customer are on the same page,including stock.Step two: Keep your promise either way (manager did this)Step three: Dont mistreat others. How you feel doesnt justify what you do. Others matter. Especially your customers.Step four: Be sure a customer is irate before mentioning security etc. A person doesnt deserve to be threatened. Step five: Be kind. Close transaction.Also everytime i buy from the short black girl (short hair braids) I leave with a stomach ache. Negativity. Avoid.An EMPLOYEE told me to avoid.

I got a Yelp just to review this place, honestly was super disappointed in the quality of the flower. Granted, I have a high standard for what I smoke.. but the bud tender told me the flower was indoor and its definitely some greenhouse schwag. If it was indoor, it was at least several months old with absolutely no terpenes left to smell. Literally smelled like some boof CBD weed. Buy weed from a local street kid, fuck that over priced non sense

Barbary Coast is the best dispensary in SF. Before you enter, there is security that validates I.D. Once inside it looks like an old library or post office from the 1970's. I didn't have to wait at all, I was called to the counter and from there, you can describe the type of euphoria you seek-Edibles aren't really my thing, but Barbary has the best baked treats and candy ever. I snagged a chocolate bar, some cookies, and edible marshmallows, you've gotta be kidding me!My budtender really took the time to address questions I had. You are given an iPad and on the iPad is a menu of different strands, edibles and CBD pain relievers both roll-ons and gels which is an exceptional topical for muscle aches and arthritis.The best and only answer for neck and back pain is CBD roll-on. I must have spent a good 10-15 minutes with my budtender who was very informative and intelligent.By 5pm, Barbary picks up with the tech crowd, who usually picks up bud and knows exactly what they want. SURPRISE! Barbary is a lounge as well. For each purchase you make, you are allotted 30 minutes in the lounge to smoke, eat edible- hang out. I purchased 3 cookies at once, so I only had 30 minutes. Little did I know, for each single purchase you make, you can go back in line, purchase something as small as $5 and go back to enjoying whatever you are smoking or eating. Lounge area offers free bubblers, bowls, zig zags, bongs, just about everything besides a gas mask. People were in the lounge smoking and doing work on laptops. Make sure to have your I.D. handy when you enter the lounge- they scan it. Professional stoner crowd if that's even possible. Place is touristy in the lounge are, but why else and where else in the states can you have your weed and smoke it too??Make sure to ask budtender about CBD/THC ratio because you'll completely turn into a vegetable. Don't waste your whole trip if visiting sitting inside Barbary Coast smoking all day as some people were repeat customers back to back to back in the lounge from all over the U.S./Europe. I will not buy from anywhere else in SF, mainly because staff was so accommodating and was able to facilitate my decision.

The weed is the best in The city cuz there is option but why I rated it 2 stars is when I walked in they allowed the guests in front of me to enter with just a picture of their ID. I lost my ID today and called to check if I can come in being an existing patient and they won't let me in with a the digital copy of my ID. They are picky and choosy and let people that are their friends get in with a photo of the ID b ur if your a regular that isn't their friend you don't get the same privileges. Sad. Be consistent. Either let everyone use their digital IDs or dont. They aren't following compliances and should be shut down.

Staff was funny and helpful for picking product out. Really like the vibe of this place, good music, good people, great selection of products.

Gorgeous space, helpful staff, tons of choices and easy purchasing process.  Would visit again next time I am in town.

Visited both locations in San Fran on my vacation/weed tour. I'm From the Bible Belt so we don't have the luxury of enjoying legal and professional devils lettuce. Security and front desk were quick, soo friendly and professional, My bud tenders were very knowledgeable about products at both locations. The original Barbary coast was by far my fav. They had the lounge which fully vaccinated people can enjoy edibles and read some quality leaf magazine. Was able to truly enjoy my stay thanks to the quality cannabis they hooked me up with. I got some indica which was some of the best purp I've ever had. The Mach 1 was so delicious as well! They have an ATM so they accept debit which most places don't. Thank you all so much for opening my eyes to the pros of legalization. I was so impressed I came back to Georgia and wrote my governor, Congressman , and senator as to why we need to legalize cannabis now! I don't agree with many policies in California but San Fran  has great roads and great weed and my home state could learn from you all!

A hip Happy Place in San Francisco, a destination location for my flower friendly friends. They have a Dab Bar, Smoking lounge, offer all the utensils you need, while playing upbeat lounge music. Side note: It's shady outside especially at night, but they have security guards outside and keep an eye out. However, I do suggest you LYFT or UBER in and out at night.

Awesome vibes here. Door guy was strumming on a ukulele when I came in. Gonna give a huge shout out to Tesha at at counter--some dumb bank issues came up on my end and she was so patient and so, so helpful.

I really enjoy the selection here at Barbary coast but the customer service is what keeps me from coming back as a repeat customer.1st not so great experience: I was sold drinks that were past their best before date. I had consumed one of the beverages prior to realizing this so I called the store to let them know to check their stock and to see what could be done about the second expired beverage. They offered to exchange the second beverage but wouldn't give me a refund for selling an expired product. It was one 10$ drink so I let it go. Be sure to check the expiration dates on the edibles and beverages you're consuming.2nd not so great experience: I placed an order for pickup and it was not packed or processed correctly. Before checking out I asked "did I receive the BOGO offer that was advertised online?" The first cashier said yes without checking. Long story short I was not given the bogo and if i hadn't asked them to check twice I would have left the store without receiving the promotion (I had even put it in my pickup notes) and been charged the original amount. I'm also fairly certain I overpaid by 10$ but I was really frazzled since I had only paid for 15 minutes on the meter and was running out of time. Anyone who knows meter maids are ruthless in this area especially on the day after Christmas. Overall the people here are nice and the product selection is good, but triple check your orders, products, and always be mindful when you're paying cash.

No more vendor discounts... That's ok everyone has to make their $ especially with the ridiculous tax increases that the government continues to impose on this sector.. Visited a couple times. Cool spot, cool people and always a great time. Music playlist is perfect. Could definitely envision making a pit stop for my better half when we decide to tie the knot. Perfect place for a puff and a few pix.

I've been to SF twice; Christmas last year and for the New Year this time. Besides how impeccably clean and gorgeous the establishment has been maintained, their staff has been repeatedly helpful, honest and just all around good peeps. I have not a bad thing to say about this place, at all. They provide all the necessities if needed (tray, papers, lighters, pipes, etc..) They also have TVs and self serve water in the lounge area, which is sort of regal looking, unique and a perfect look for the chill vibe it provides. There is also a rig station if you have bought a concentrate. I have to say, every time I go to SF, I'll be stopping in. :)

I was a loyal customer since this place opened, but no more. Their selection has been spotty, and the employees can be mercurial to deal with. The quota of scuzzy looking people working there, smoking in the lounge and on the street outside is pretty high too. The last straw is an employee interaction with an angry person working for them. I thought weed made you mellow.

Came all the way for the east bay they would not let me use their bathroom even though I bought merchandise The clerk were rude and yelled at me for wanting to use the bathroom I stood in line for 30 min with 4 people who were checkers Horrible never coming back

Very cool, awesome staff!  Dog friendly chill environment too. Alley pup and her buddy Chili D. were served water on arrival.  The prices were about the same as other dispensaries in the area.  The quality of the special is a 4.  This is more of a recreational versus medical dispensary.  It's still fun to be able to light up what you just purchased.  They provide papers and everything you need to smoke. They earned the 5th star for being so accommodating to pups especially when it's a heat wave like today.

Wow this place is nice, big and clean. Folks here are super friendly and chill.  Definitely will be back.

If you are a tourist, please be aware that this dispensary is not in the best area. However, there are plentiful bus stops nearby, a solid selection and a lounge where you can kick back and enjoy your purchases before wandering the rest of the city.We were of course overwhelmed by our options. If you do not know the California scene be aware the smallest amount of flower you can typically purchase is 1/8oz, which is quite a bit if you are only there for a weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed the strain we purchased. The lounge is what drove us to visit this dispensary. We wanted a place to smoke without worrying about intruding on others or possibly breaking a hotel rule. The lounge space was large with plenty of tables, chairs and booths. They provided us with a silicone bong and a tray with a lighter, ash tray and some rolling papers so we could roll up what we purchased. We hit this place up as soon as we landed and I have to say it was surprising how many people wake and bake. Obviously, I can't say much, but the space smelled delicious and everyone was chill in their own little world.

Great customer service with each visit! Even when there's a line, it's efficient and moves quickly. They have a professional and organized system in place. Water stands with cups and hand sanitizers are sprinkled throughout the establishment. The lounge has several flat screen TVs (muted) with nice music in background. Each employee seems very knowledgeable about the products. They have alcohol wipes to clean off the bongs and whatnot that you may need to borrow during your visit.

I felt like i was in a scene from The Kingsman. The storefront is clean and reminiscent of a cool gentleman ms cigar bar. But in the next room you can partake in your purchases and hang out with your friends etc. sometimes they have the game in. Who ever knew we would be in place where it was literally a bar but swap the alcohol for greenery ;)

I have been going here since I got my medcard, the  lounge is back now! i love to hotbox inside. I always ask the budtender what they smoke :D

Really fancy dispensary with a nice lounge area and comfy set up. Everything is on ipads so it's easy to jump online and order ahead of time or check out the menus on your phone while you're in line.They take cash and credit card which is an exception and really nice!

Coming from the Caribbean islands to this place was an experience of a lifetime. As a smoker your like a kid in a candy store. All the staff was friendly. Some bud tenders I could tell just wanted you to order so they could move in to the next, while others wanted to make sure you enjoyed your experience no matter what. The dab bar and lounge was awesome too. Super clean and comfortable. It's a must if you blaze and your visiting San Fran!

Great folks and loved the concierge-like experience. Would recommend and would return! I really loved the decor/ambiance - pretty unexpected.

I was visiting from out of state, so this was the first dispensary I had ever gone to. When you first enter, you hand them your ID to check if you're of age. There's security at the door also, and everyone was all around really nice. After you enter the main lobby area, there's a back room where there's a buncha people behind the counter willing to help you. I've never been overwhelmed with so many options, from joints, dab pens, dabs, edibles, like think of it, and they've got it. The guy helping us was super helpful with flavors and whether or not we wanted hybrid, sativa, or indica. After we purchased our goods, they even had a smoke room where you could just sit and smoke and just be high. I've never seen anything like it before. They had a little dab station. Then they had booths where you could just hang out. Definitely will come back and check it out again when I'm in town!

Never thought I'd be reviewing a dispensary, but here we are!I'm not a smoker, but I was visiting people downtown and it happened to be very close to this dispensary/lounge thingy so I decided to tag along with a friend and check the place out. Walking over was sketch because I think we took the wrong street and I'm pretty sure someone was chillin on the sidewalk smoking some hard drugs, but that's downtown SF for ya. Also that has literally nothing to do with the lounge, sooooo I digress.When we arrived there was a line and they checked our IDs. There was another line (all short, fast moving lines) to order your POP, or pot of preference (yes I just made that up), and then another line to check into their smoking lounge. The ambiance was kind of bougee, and the lounge was comfortable even for non-smokers just tagging along for the ride. It does get really smoky inside the lounge because I don't think they're allowed to crack windows or anything, but it was fine. You get a timer to smoke so the place isn't too crowded at one time, and they provide all the do-hickeys you could ever need to get yo chill on.Overall, it's a cool place to check out if you're downtown in SF, just take the right streets or use the buddy system!

This is a very cool place. I don't smoke marijuana, but if I did I'd want to here. The staff is very knowledgeable, there's a wide variety of things to choose from, they have different events and vendors to come in a giaway free stuff. This place has a very cool vibe.

Oye! Long time listener, first time caller. This place is the spot! I've been coming here for the better part of a year and lemme just list a few of the reasons to come thru;Inside - is incredibly beautiful. If you're choosing a lounge to enjoy some mary-who-wanna in, you can't go wrong choosing BC. Very open and inviting, *always* clean, and boasts a very chill vibe to make your own.-Also should mention, TV's on throughout the smoke lounge, and plenty of seating to do some work/study/etc. Tables and booths. -Dab rigs, w/ e-nails. Fuegisimo. (Don't burn yourself fam, oh but if you do they got ointment for dat)Staff- OG's. Everytime I show up (believe you me its a consistent thing), everyone is friendly and looking to make sure the experience is an excellent one. It doesn't stop there, however. They're knowledgeable too. I, on the other hand, would have been lost in the woods without a solid recommendation or 6. They know their stuff; strains, effects, compatibility. This only serves to add to the experience, haven't gone wrong yet, and like I said, I go often. lol. Come correct as a customer and you can bet they will too. No doubt. Perks - Bruh - dollar for dollar you get rewarded for what you spend. After 100 points you can choose to get your discount, $5 off, and it goes up the more you spend. It's nice to be able to get a little discount every now and again. (1 dollar = 1 point)- Bruh 2.0 -  The DEALZZz. Don't sleep on em'. Fuegisimo. $40 Quarters of flower? Done. Protab Edibles buy 1 get one for a dollar? Lol take my money. Constantly rotating deals that keep me coming back. That's just scratching the surface, I should say lol.- Bruh 3.0 - Listen. Like literally. Because they got live music and demo's. So legit. Its pretty sweet to see that kind of collaboration in action. Also, who doesn't love a good sample? I get a menu almost every morning I think, in my inbox, and they often have the schedule for when those types of things will be going down right there with the menu. #Efficiency. - Bruh 4.0 - to borrow; they have grinders/bongs/papers/literally everything you may need to consume however you may fancy. Selection -Buckle up sports fans. They got quite the selection. More than that? It's all online, updated frequently enough from what I can tell. Flower, wax, edibles, pre-rolls, topicals, you name it. Flexible range of strains, choices and what I imagine would be most important for some, price. Merch -Oh ya, almost forgot. New sweatshirts are absolute heat. Like they need to come with a fire extinguisher. But don't get one before I cop my large. Thanks. Such a fun relaxing calm safe place to be. I feel like the folks inside are really chill and the place hella reminded me of a velvet cake wrapped in the red. I feel like a vampire coming into a shop like this, ready to sipOn the finest blood ever. It felt truly magical. The experience and being told my medicine was ready. My friend showed me the ropes and guided me through the process as a Senpai should. We got that chill type of keel that put me on a serene state, almost like a pleasant type of sedation, mellow tribulation, my creative juices started pouring out and I felt a beat that unboxed my mind of unstoppable rhymes. SUPER nice set up. Staff is so nice and very helpful and they don't make you feel rushed, which is a huge plus to have when you're still making decisions. A lot of options to pick from here and the prices seemed to be pretty normal to me - nothing too crazy. Cool that they also have a lounge option that you can sit back and smoke

My friends recommended this dispensary if I were to come to SF! I've never been to one that had a lounge for you to use, and also get to borrow their stuff!! They had lighters, bongs, grinders, and paper for you to roll your things. And don't have to go home to do it. How great is that!? You get a 30 min time limit to stay, which is plenty of time. It was interesting to see that people came alone or w a few friends. Definitely recommend for the experience! And you don't have to pay for your time in the lounge and they've got free self serve water for your if you need it. Pro tip: Don't buy a lighter at checkout, if you come to the lounge you can borrow one instead of spending money on one!

I loved this place so much!It's pretty self explanatory, there's not much to go in depth. But it is cool that they have an entire lounge where you can smoke your goodies! They even have fresh, cold, free water! And they even give you a smoking kit! Whether it's a bowl, bong, grinder and papers! My family and I came twice, back to back since it was .1 miles away from our hotel. We bought some pre rolls, we came inside and got a table and smoked. It's nice to be an environment where you're not judged and no one is being loud and rowdy, starting fights. Everyone is chill, relaxed, enjoying the moment, minding their own business.I wish weed could be legalized so places like this could be everywhere!*btw, we are from Virginia! We had no issues at all, just gave the receptionists our license so we could be in the system and we were good to go!

I've been to quite a few dispensary's and this one has got to be one of the nicest ones I've been to!!! Yes, when you enter there is a long line but it does go by fast.  They have lots of wonderful products to choose from and are very helpful with any questions you may have.  I LOVE how they have the lounge room on the other side where they have plenty of tables and seating to enjoy the products you just bought.  There is no alcohol or outdoor products permitted (if you want to drink then you go to a bar and not a dispensary duh) but the lounge is super nice with tables all around.  They even have a water area in case you need some refreshments.  This place is worth all the hype.  Check them out and enjoy their beautiful designed lounge area.

I like this place. So far, I've been here twice and was able to purchase some nice flower. The best part was their smoke lounge.  After making a purchase, one can visit the lounge to experience their products (they give you a 30 min time limit). If you didn't bring "tools" (rolling papers, lighter, ashtray, etc.) with you, they supply them for free in the lounge. This experience was one of the highlights of my San Francisco visit.

Came here with my boyfriend, visiting from Chicago. The guy who was helping us out was also from Chicago so that was pretty cool. The lounge was very spacious and chill. The pre-rolls me and my boyfriend smoked were amazing.

This is my boyfriends favorite place to go. They accept credit card, which is rare in the city. They also have an area where you can smoke your dab (they have 4 with alcohol swabs to clean before use), or another area you can lounge in to smoke joints in your own booth. Pretty cool! Haven't seen anything else like it yet

I was on Vacation in San Francisco for 6 days and had to experience the wave of legal marijuana dispensaries. I never thought I would see a day where I can walk into a business purchase marijuana and enjoy it in the comfort of a lounge. When you first enter the business your are  greeted by a bouncer which in San Francisco is Normal due to the homeless population. You then see the receptionist which will ask for your ID to verify that you are of age 21+ only, out of staters are welcome as long as you have a government ID (license or state ID) Your then stand in line if there is one. I went several times the busiest was during the weekend. You are then called by your bud tender who will ask and answer any question to help you make a choice that is best for you. Edibles,  oils, bud, pre-rolls its all here and the prices are fair depending on what you choose. Once you make the purchase, you have the option of taking it home or enjoying your purchase in their lounge. I was staying at a hotel that did not allow smoking so I was able to sit and enjoy my purchase in the lounge. If you need anything to help you with your enjoyment in the lounge they have it. I just needed a lighter because I purchased the pre-rolls whose price was between $10 & $15. There are several round table lounges and table top seating as well as tv's for enjoyment. Everyone is so nice and friendly both customer and employees. If you are in the San Francisco area and want a relaxing experience this is the place. I visited 4 out of 6 days during my vacation.

Really more upscale dispensary. Really great service and our budtender was extremely helpful and attentive. Walked us thru the different options and gave some good recommendations. I like that they have a lounge and dab rig if you want to directly use product immediately. Great experience and great staff :)

This is a great spot. Central location, BART/Muni accessible, broad inventory, but lines!Every time I've gone in the afternoon, after 3pm, I've had to wait in line. This is fine if you're not going places, but since the experience involves 1:1 consultation, you may be waiting a while. After three afternoons of this, I've learned to place my orders online. I'm not interested in inspecting items most days--already know what I like. Skip the line if you do too.If you don't know what you're looking for, all the budtenders I've worked with have been decently knowledgeable and can make recommendations. Some more eloquent than others, but all seem competent.Worth mentioning is the lounge in the next room over--accessible from the back right corner of the bar. They'll even spot you some equipment to use while you're there--in exchange for your drivers license. It reminds me of being in a café in Amsterdam.Though it would be nice to have coffee service too.There's a Blue Bottle Coffee around the back corner on the same block though.

I would like to update my review for the Barbary Coast. Per my original comment, we very much enjoy the atmosphere of this establishment. It's very organized, clean, and has a modern concept while keeping with a more traditional, high-end style of lounge. The cashiers are all high-tech and the bud tenders are knowledgable. The spot is chill and mellow. Since my last review the manager, David, rectified my double-charge situation and we have completely cleared up the the misunderstanding. We will be returning to enjoy the lounge again in the future.

Love this place, the guy that helped us with our order was super educated & gave us recommendations. It can be very over whelming but I told him what we wanted & he was great. They have so much to choose from and they also have an online catalog. We sat in the lounge part for a few which was cool, I love people watching & hanging out, this is Definitely the place for that.

I had the best experience ever last night hands down. Scarlett was an amazing budtender and she recommended some awesome products. She's very kind and patient doesn't rush us customers and also double checks with us to make sure she grabbed the correct products. She definitely needs to be rewarded because she is beyond one of the best since I been coming there for 2yrs now! If her boss sees this she needs to be awarded or promoted hands down. You rock and I can't wait to come and make my next purchase I hope you'll be there!!

Barbary is hands down my favorite brick n mortar establishment in California, I've been a patient and then recreational customer here for some time, the quality here is on point, I mostly purchase concentrates and pre rolls. I'm there typically multiple times a week to make use of the lounge and have come to know the staff, whom are all super amazing people that have always gone above and beyond to answer questions, correct issues that may have arisen, and just overall welcoming and caring. I deal with mobility issue that cause me to not be able to leave the house for weeks at a time and the staff always asks where I have been and how I am doing, they are very much a home away from home to me.David, the manager has always been very prompt to handle any product issues I've come across which are few an far between, he also always has made his time available to chit chat and get to know his customers.The security doorman are also friendly instead of being stone faced and cold these folks have always said hi and been more then willing to answer a question.They offer a rewards program and often have "demos" which are actually just a vendor giving product information mostly, sometimes they offer free sampling but are almost always non medicated samples, but still a great way to get to know the people behind the products we are cosumimg.They are popular so sometimes it can take a little bit to get thru the line but it's worth the wait here.

Great atmosphere, awesome service, good prices and quality products! Everyone was so friendly and helpful even from when you are greeted and have your ID checked. They also play really good music! If your in the lounge, the seats are comfy. Great place to hangout and chill and try new things!

This is my go to if I want to burn it down for a quick second and I'm in the city! Super chill atmosphere it feels like a place you can unwind with some buddies or have a business meeting with some Bosses! Awsome dynamic with the lounge and retail in one. We grabbed a booth and it was so comfortable. I am definitely coming back and doing it all over again! Thankyou for the amazing time!

I am traveling to the West Coast for leisure and decided to stop in the BCD for a pre-roll and a cartridge/battery for my boyfriend. Upon checking in, I noticed how mic  it went we in the inside. I live in VA so whenever I go to states where weed is free to smoke recreationally, I like to hit up the local dispensaries and this place was really nice. Don't forget your ID! I mean, that's a given but you won't get in without it. You have to be 21 y/o as well. As soon as you check in, you can hit the line for a Togo order or be serviced by an employee. I was serviced yesterday by Dale who was completely AWESOME! You can tell that he's truly passionate about educating people about Cannabis. He was great. I told him I was looking for something to help with my occasional anxiety and he was very blunt with me, letting me know that since marijuana is a psychoactive plant, it may or may not help. It may intensify it. May not. I ended up getting the Henrys Blueberry Cookies hybrid pre-roll which was exactly what I needed. It mellowed me out without making me a zombie. I also bought 3 pens  let's just say he's great and I will definitely be back the next time I'm in SFO.

Okay y'all, this place is dope. I'm originally from the Bay Area and I fly there once every 3-4 months and I definitely want to come back to this place.. The ambiance reminds me of a old school/vintage bar. Staff at the dispensary side are friendly and helpful. There's a smoke lounge and a dab bar. Everything is clean and sanitary (plenty of cotton swabs, alcohol wipes at each station). I would recommend bringing friends from out of town here (you got to for the experience) !

Nice place, good selection. Was looking for a dispensary last minute when I arrived in SF. They were one of the few in the area that were open at 9 am. If I come back to the area I'll definitely hit up this place again.

While visiting San Francisco we had to experience buying medicinal grade herbs from a local dispensary and we found ourselves here. It was safe , professional, and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us find the right herbs to meet our needs.

Great place. Prices are high but they let you stay and enjoy the products so that is amazing! And worth the extra cost. They provide dad rigs and papers and filters and everything else you might need to enjoy your product. Everyone who works there has treated me with the most kindness and actually seem to care about the people visiting this establishment. Highly recommend!!

Totally unexpected vibe here! Totally awesome and accepting to all stonercurious types. I had fun talking to the cool (...and holy crap they hired some really cool) bud tenders! The lounge was everything catered to you!!! And really knowledgeable and friendly staff

I found that the vibe and quality of this place was much better than the other local spots, that offer similar products. I thought the prices were affordable and the service was super attentive and thorough. The facility was very clean and all the employees were also very well put together- I didn't get a sketchy vibe at all. Possibly some of my best memories of San Francisco took place here. Deff five stars and I highly recommend!

Jesus Christ go here. Just go. Get in your car or a ride share and go here. I was so impressed and the professionalism and knowledge of the staff. The boutique club esthetic was really fun since my friends and I were in town and looking for a good time. Still blows my mind that you can just enjoy your purchases in the bar style lounge. They provide everything you need!

Why aren't these everywhere??? Get it together California - this is the new bar! in 30 minutes here, i met more strangers than I do in an entire night at a loud bar or club. The budtenders were fun and helpful. The entire staff was, honestly. My only hope is that we will see more and more of this type of establishment as California embraces the new laws.

I will admit, I do not indulge in the large world of cannabis, but I was not opposed to checking this place out when asked to tag along with friends.  As soon as we walked in, the staff was great about welcoming us as well as explaining their products.  I have been in a few dispensaries in CO and none of them looked like this place.  It was so tastefully designed and operated.  There were no overwhelming or off-putting odors (keep in mind, I am not fond of the smell of marijuana). From what I could see while standing in line, this place had a pretty cool lounge area too.  All I can say is that I was very impressed and thought they deserved a positive review.

I'm not that date much of a writer so I am talk to texting this entire post when I went to the Barbary Coast everything that they offered was exotic I purchased the canna butter when I realized that it had a significant more amount of THC in it I actually bought three it had 2000 MG and I would highly recommend this place versus everywhere else because they also have a tasty Café that you can enjoy and taste as many flavors as you like and is a really good buy for your money!

I noticed some employees here wear gloves and some don't. I would suggest management be a bit more consistent in that regard - especially considering this is a cash-oriented cannabis dispensary that handles tons of potentially coronavirus-infected bills on a daily basis, seven days a week. Perhaps a complaint to the SF Dept. of Public Health is in order.

Nice recreational dispensary with a small ish lounge to smoke in. Sorta like Amsterdam! Fun fun! 21 and up with photo id. Prices are kinda high but it's a spot to chill and smoke in. The weed is good, service is courteous.

Chill interior, smoking rooms, huge selection, rarely out of inventory, fast lines for a popular shop TVs, safe af. Only hate comment is like, ytf I gotta pay $2.50 to use a card? If that's a Treez thing lmk I'm in technology sales and can find cheaper options that don't give customers a reason to shop elsewhere. It's 2019 the only place charging debit/credit $2.50 fees specifically are sketchy corner stores where ppl get knifed. Barbary Coast has a much higher class vibe. Cool spot! Been there a few times and the staff are all super cool, friendly, and helpful! Literally Anything you need you can go there. No tobacco allowed but if you're a blunt smoker they have alternatives to meet your needs.

It's funny how this used to be a brothel back in the day now it's..well kinda still reminds me of it by the interior. I love it, the couches are so comfy, the service is great, and well I know what a budtender is now.  They have some very attractive ones at that too.

I used to love this place. While I understand the strains the law changes have had on all dispensaries that's not the only negatives.   - unless you encounter the 3-4 amazing staff members, generally there is a pretentious feel when "budtenders" let you into the lounge, discuss product (it's just pot people, calm down), and over all customer service. -product has dwindled, prices have skyrocketed.Worst part, no longer accept credit card which means they just lost over roughly $1,000 of business monthly from me. They do accept debit with an astronomical fee for using.

I went to the Barbary because of the ratings. I am deaf and I wanted some good weed. They recommended this type and when I get home , it wasn't very good. It was in a plastic small jar with small print hard to read but I could read was the 10.6% thc.I couldn't help but thinking I was as being discriminated against. I hope I am wrong but I had a bad vibe about it.

From the door to all the workers to win the lounge was open Barbary coast is a great place. Staff there from top to bottom very knowledgeable very friendly and it seems like they really do enjoy their jobs the place is clean even before the pandemic we still have people walking around cleaning stuff asking if you needed anything the service standards are well above other places that I have went to. During these trying times as we say they have went to work with great attitudes adapting to change. Through all that they have made you feel welcome they're happy to see you they know your name they say hi. Watching the staff interact is amazing they all get along you're having a good time in there helping each other over and over again I would like to say thank you to them for staying open. If you've never been to the Barbary coast then you should go there and see what I'm talking about that's the only way to experience it.

I love this place! I don't go anywhere else in SF for what I need. I also love the lounge. I've met some really cool people here just chilling in the lounge. So I'd try to extend a hand if they're fairly packed and you see someone off on heir own. I've always thought it was fun to smoke with new friends. One of my favorite visits was when my partner and I were chilling in a booth with our service dog watching the NBA finals. I think we must've spent an hour or so just hanging out. The decor has got you feeling elite AF. Reminds me of an underground smoke club in NYC. They also have some really good deals on flowers and vendors who come through here frequently letting you try their product pretty regularly. Staff is what you'd expect from a budtender. They know their stuff and are chill as a cucumber. Ask them for recommendations. You won't be disappointed.

I loved the vibe and atmosphere of this place. This was the first lounge bar I've been too. They had a  knowledgeable and friendly staff. And of course the product does not disappoint. Can't wait to come back and visit again!

So the spot is still stunning and outstanding customer service.It's usually packed every time I come here now.Long lines and a full lounge since weed became recreational.

One of my favorite spots to go ever since I moved to SF a year ago.  Always has great deals and rewards and discounts for returning patrons. The dab bar and lounge is what really brought me in.  They're dog friendly which makes dropping in a breeze when im out walking. Theres even water bowls set out. Earlier this year I had my wallet stolen and management really went out of their way to help us get it back. Lastly, love the crew! Kit, Matt, Skylar, Amelia, Nicky and Ja are some of the few that have helped us with excellent service. There are a few rude potatoes there that give us a hard time but the ambiance and everything else makes up for it.

John the bud tender and expert who helped me last night 11-20-2018 at approx 815 PM is the reason I am writing this review. I'm from Seattle and being in the same industry, i was inclined to feel as if I knew better. I resisted that Inclination and John guided me to an awesome indica pax pod, an amazing gram of rosin from Field and some great Connected Biscotti! The Hispanic older gentleman who was  behind the counter in the lounge area gave in me a hard time about needing to buy a lighter. I was told earlier that they were free. I was nervous enough being in a new situation like this so feeling like I was being clowned on didn't help ease me into a new experience. This was Not funny. I started to get nervous and feel like I didn't belong. We dont have smoking lounges in seattle. So please try to be welcoming and kind rather than flirting with the two young ladies sat in front of your counter while simultaneously making fun of me implying that I need to buy a lighter.  Five stars for john. Mr Henry take note. Barbary coast needs more like him.

Staff is alway super friendly and tax is already included which is great.  Selection is pretty good when it comes to edibles and extracts.

We were in town from Maui for a few days and chose to experience Barbary Coast!  Gotta say the team was really helpful and patient as it was our first time in a dispensary.  Really appreciated everyone going above and beyond to help us make the right choices and ensure our experience was first rate!  See ya next time we are in town!

So my friend LOVES this place. We went because of such rave reviews not just online but by people I personally know. The place is great such a cool lounge area informative people and such. The big caveats which resulted in a 1 Star is the quality of products. Our products received were dry, unable to fully light and the pen we bought doesn't hold a charge and has never worked once opened from the box. It was a faulty product.

PROS: Open later than most dispensaries, in heart of the city, and informative workersCONS: Long lines because they have one separate for cash and card. Heads up, cash is always shorter line.

Great spot for cannabis consumption and their selection of products is top notch. It's a Big space. Not fond of the 30 minute timer they give you though since it sounds like a blaring alarm and isn't so calming especially when you're elevated.

Upscale cannabis dispensary and smoking lounge.  Never thought I would get to see all those words in a single sentence, but it fits Barbary Coast perfectly.  Wow, why aren't these everywhere?Barbary Coast is well run, the staff knows what they are doing! They check you in, you line up to be called over to the bar and see a bud tender, he or she will take their time talking to you to ensure you get what you are looking for. Then you can leave or go into their smoking lounge.  The decor is more reminiscent of a traditional steakhouse, dark wood, stuffed couches and chairs, etc. They ask that you don't photograph, so I don't have pics to add, but look at the ones that have been submitted, it's a nice place.

Awesome staff and chill vibe. Prices are reasonable, same as everyone else I find. They have smoking lounge too which is cool.

Since my last review, legalization happened and a lot has changed. Now that anyone with an ID over 21 can enter, BC has lost some its charm. It's gotten a lot busier, with longer lines, wait time and demand (depending on what time you visit). They offer online order to curve the wait, but the best part used to be about interacting with the budtender and chopping it up.They now have a very cushy lounge next door with multiple flatscreens everywhere, 90% of my visits will include a smoke break in the lounge, but it does get popping during certain times, so be advised.

The positives: the lounge was super cool, and it was nice to have a place to enjoy our purchases. The negatives: crowded. Very crowded. The bud tenders are willing to help you find products, but the line is so long that they really don't have the time. Another weird thing that really turned me off; there's no public restrooms. If I'm hanging out someplace, I at least want to have the option to go to the bathroom. When I asked an employee, they led me to the locked employee bathroom and waited outside... it was uncomfortable.  All in all, worth a visit if you're in the area but I can't see myself coming back.

Wasn't impressed at all. The 2 gentlemen at door this morning , very welcoming , but young lady who helped me , a lil rude , I felt like I was bothering her , 1st time there an the last , I can't stand rude EMPLOYEES who deal with customer directly an are a ZERO in personality or assistance , here they are she says pushes a computer in my face , at that moment I wanted to walk out , no one in the place , an the girl still doesn't like customers , WHY DOES SHE WORK THERE ? I WOULD QUESTION WHO DOES HIRING ,horrible experience , and on a Sunday after 9am , she must wanna get paid to work but do nothing ,sorry I bothered her, SMH!!!!

Still one is my favorite clubs in SF. Long lines or not, I refuse to order online. This is because of the incredible service I receive when I finally get to a budtender. After a long day of being behind dual montors @ work, the last thing I want to do is research brands by percentages and by the growers. The bartenders always know what to recommend. Like today I didn't know what I wanted. I told Mike (budtender) what kind of experience I wanted, and what my budget was and he came thru with the best medicine for the weekend. I'm very happy with the meds, the conversation, and my overall experience. Looking forward to the weekend, and my next visit.

Can't agree more with the reviews on here about their customer service. I came in and it was the first time checking out a dispensary since legalization.I feel like most of the other bud tenders seemed nice unfortunately I had one who seemed like he was pissed off and impatient. Paced back and forth when I told him I wanted someone else to help me. Basically the entire time he was rude and I got the worst vibe from him. Just because I wasn't ready yet and was looking at their menu on the iPad....that's what it's there for right? What the hell is his deal?! This guy literally was getting angry at me for not purchasing right away. Damn maaaan chill you lost me for life. Thought this medicine was suppose to chill people out. Making small subtle sighs and impatient grunts....I would have just bought something to only say keep the change ya filthy animal! Luckily I didn't...I don't write reviews, but when I do I feel like I have to say something about people like him. I should have gotten his name, but maybe that's a little too much. Oh well; hope y'all don't get that poor bastard.

Disappointed heard about the 1$ 8th for people struggling. I call and call no answer email no responses. I drive all the way from San Mateo and plenty of people working no customers. They say they are sold out and won't have the offer anymore. Just feel like it was a publicity stunt. I wasted my gas. Fell for the okey doke. They were not busy one girl was just dancing they could have answered the phone.

The prices are definitely good but they were out of a few things I wanted. Unlike other dispensaries I've been to, the staff wasn't particularly friendly or helpful. The music vibe was nice but it was too loud so I couldn't hear when they called me to the register. I'd say it's a good place to come to chill but the buying experience wasn't great.

Just left one of my favorite dispensary's with one of my favorite pre rolls "puff (chill)" .Product : Puff chill pre rolls which are handy and ready to go and fire up whenever seeking a cure. I have to admit , I buy these prerolls in the thousands so if I'm spending this much money, then the product I expect meets my expectations. Venue: Ambiance is chill and they have some background music and couches to sit on if your tired or just want to sit. Service: The last few times were good service was provided, but this time today, I definitely left with a foul taste in my mouth. I simply asked the staff member behind the counter if I could use my points that I have a-crewed so that I can get a price break. He (DAVE) asked me for my phone number and when I expressed I would rather not give out my personal phone number he dismissed my request and rudely , and in an unprofessional manner, proceeded to charge me without asking me or trying an alternative route to my request to use my points I have accumulated. Conclusion:  This review would have gotten a 5 star because ultimately I will come back for my product but ,because of "DAVE" with the glasses who works the Friday night shift,  I decided to give this a one star. Hopefully management could train all there staff ,especially "Dave", to be a little more professional and patient with returning and valuable customers. -C M

This was my first and last time here ever and I'm a sf native I went here with my friend for the first time . We planned on splitting money for an 8th of weed to smoke we wanted one in the 35-40$ price range we walked to back when a young girl working waved to us we looked through the iPad and picked a 8th we wanted and showed her, I had a 50$ bill I took out and placed on the table she comes back and puts a gram on the table and takes my 50$ bill n I said this isn't it she pointed to the pic next to the 8th and said yes I said no we want the 8th.. she took my money and said it's been processed already which she typed on the computer and put me money in and then after said I can get the manager ... I was furious she lied in my face and made me buy a 20$ gram ... she went to the smoking area and brought back a older woman which told me she couldn't do anything but give me 25% off my next purchase ... I felt I was less off a customer ripped off and got my money token I'll never give them business ever again and am going to tell friends and family to stay away from this establishment

I am giving this place 5 stars because I had the absolute best experience! The employees there are very welcoming and super friendly. I don't know much about weed because I just started smoking it this year, but they were really helpful. The guy that helped me made sure I knew all my options as far as indica, hybrid, and sativa strains. I really really enjoyed my product so that's really why I appreciate they're help, and being able to go there and they help me pick out just what I'm looking for. Definitely will be back!!! This place is super chill and awesome. Must be 21+ older with a valid ID to enter. They have a cool lounge you can hang out in for 30 minutes and they cover the tax for you! Will be back!

The Budd tender was very kind and informative. It was my first time there last week. They have good prices on edibles and I like the edibles I got.

I love this place. I was expecting attitude but everyone was friendly. I vaped in the lounge which has a time period. I guess it is to prevent the homeless from hanging out. The only drawback is that you aren't that far from what I call "the avenue of lost souls ".  Take a right when you leave and you'll see why I call it that. Just head towards civic center BART station

Why doesn't Yelp have a 10 star rating option yet? Because Barbary Coast deserves at least 100 gold stars. Welcoming crew and great cannabis. If you are a novice or a cannabissuer Barbary Coast is the place to be. They seem to really care about their customers from buying products to providing bongs, trays and pipes to use in their smoking lounge. I am more into dabbing since my tolerance has increased over the years, so their dab bar fit all my needs. CLEAN tools and nails were provided which makes all the difference. I picked up their blue river and alien labs extract, which was straight fire like everything else on their menu. Great high, great time.1000/10 place, will be back again.

Was in town for a couple days, the museum my boyfriend and I wanted to check out was closed so we decided we would look up a dispensary close by the area. Found this place and wow im so glad we did!  The place was so fancy, clean and loved the decor. All the staff was super friendly and helpful, they offer many choices from dabs, edibles, joint, flowers you name it. The best part is they have a lounge where you can eat/smoke the products you just bought and just chill and get high. It was such a fun and cool experience for both of us, we will definitely be back whenever we are in town again :)

I love going to the Barbary Coast, they have great customer service. They offer the most update edibles (edibles is MY thang ) and the staff will offer recommendations.

I would say that Barbary Coast is in the top 5 shops in SF. The quality, knowledge of product, variety and overall professionalism is all top notch. The bud tenders are all very friendly and will try and make your visit as quick and painless as possible. Five stars from me!

Barbary Coast has a great revolving selection of cartridges, buds, and much more. And I come back for the the lounge and friendly staff so often, it's impossible to get ahead of the quality cannabis. This is where I tried a hash and flowers cigar the size of my thumb.

Always good vibes and great service from the team over at Barbary. I live close by so I'm here a lot and have never had a bad experience and the staff is very knowledgeable. I'd recommend signing up for their rewards program to get the best deals. Their lounge is also a great space to feel safe and not have to worry about using marijuana. I've been to the lounge with friends many times before and they've always been super impressed.

I honestly had a great experience here. Our budtender really opened up and walked us through what they liked about each strain they recommended. They have a good selection at pretty standard costs and the customer service is outstanding. The only thing that kind of soured my first trip was that my friend and i werent instructed on the rules of the lounge and so we walked in and saw people seating themselves so we found a spot and had a great little break from walking around while trying out the product we just bought. But as we were leaving one of the employees asked if we had a pager and we said no because What, and apparently we had to check in to use the louge and we felt so bad for mis-using the space but we were also in plain view of an employee the entire time and i felt resented for not knowing what to do which also sucked. we got up to leave when it was getting a little busier and i went to go throw our trash away and got a tone from the employee that was watching us sit the whole time when i asked if i could throw the ash away and i realized of course its because we werent following the rules but im sorry how was it not his responsibility to correct us? and we happily would have! this place is great but that whole thing was so embarrassing and it could have been if i had looked up their website and found their description or rules and stuff or, if one of the many employees that saw us go from checking out to walking into the lounge had just let us know how things work.highly recommend if you want to have a relaxing break in the day or get walked thru new products by people who actually care about your experience. UPDATE. We went back the next week and copped their special for that day and smoked some of it in the lounge later and it was an even better experience. they had us sign the waiver up front (awesome) and we had another phenomenal budtender check us out. we made sure to check in to the lounge and when we walked in we were immediately clocked by the person behind the counter, who gave us our timer and told us the rules. a complete 180 from our first experience with this part to be honest, but a very good change. and literally every single person that walked into that lounge the time we were there was called out to by the budtender behind the counter to make sure they knew the rules and what their responsibilities were as a patron. it made things go so smoothly even when it got busier. a huge relief compared to last time and i cant wait to go back. again, awesome place, the budtenders continue to be the besttenders, we just had an even better time.

Horrible customer service. I spend $100 a week here min, and they refused to swap out a cartridge that was not working on 2 of my 3 batteries that I bought one hour ago. They told me I was screwing it on too tight. the one battery it did work on, the hit was so small, they told me "you need to warm it up"For someone who comes here weekly and spends 60$ a week on a cartridge at a minimum, you should have swapped it out. I came in once with a half empty leaking one, and they swapped it out for a full gram with no questions. This I havent even had an hour and nothing was smoked from it!!!!I will be going to other places from now on, and you no longer have my business. Shit customer service.

I used to love coming to this dispensary up until my most recent visit. I was embarrassed, treated like dirt, and yelled at because I did not check in (I'm a previous patient). Now, I understand the seriousness of not following procedures, however, the whole time I was there, several people skipped past the check-in and headed straight to the back (they check ID's in the back if you're not verified so there can be no mix-ups) after me. Were they yelled at and embarrassed in front of everyone? NO! They were politely asked to show their ID's in order to be verified. I don't know if I got treated HARSH because of my young age or skin color, but whatever the reason for treating me differently, I was left with a bad impression.The only highlight of my visit was a friendly employee, "budtender"?. I have interacted with her before and she is very welcoming and chill.While I was there, I noticed a mouse in the back near the counters (a small mouse, but a mouse nonetheless).There are plenty of other dispensaries in the city to choose from, including dispensaries where you do not have to fear for your safety at night or walk past the smells of shit and piss.

Always consistently busy but efficient service at all times. I have been a member and purchasing from them for years now and love the quality of service that they give as well as the amount of different products that they have to offer-- I get to be treated properly and the lounge is such a nice add on because I can enjoy safely and discreetly.

Amazing aesthetic for a club. Very classic feel when you walk in and very friendly staff. Their menu was easy to navigate and there were tons of different options from edibles to concentrates. My favorite part is the smoke room. You can buy your tree and smoke it in a comfortable and air conditioned room. This club is a must stop every time I come up to the city, especially because it's so close to the BART station.

Great staff , never had any issues here, it's my go to spot to hangout and hit their bongs in the lounge , very cool vibe want to get friends together here.

This is one of the better marijuana dispensaries in the area, the selection is always top notch, the prices are on point for the quantity and the staff members are friendly and willing to help assist customers in finding the right products for their needs. Their showroom is very well maintained, it not only smells clean inside, but looks clean as well, it makes for a more inviting atmosphere and encourages patrons to return. Whether you are a seasoned veteran to marijuana use or are a newbie, this place can take care of you, they have products to give you a light buzz or ones that will knock you out for the night.

This club charges DOUBLE what other clubs charge for the EXACT same product. Their wax/oil prices are crazy. Not a little more, but waay more. If it costs $25 somewhere else, it will be $55 here. Not a similar product, but the EXACT same one.When they scan you in your photo, name are shown on a screen others can easily see.It's a nice place if you don't care how much things cost, but I wouldn't recommend it if your looking for a good deal.

Barbary Coast is extremely overpriced and the staff are generally absent minded and lazy- they just don't really seem like they are enjoying their jobs. The security that check your ID when you enter are no doubt some of the most rude and lifeless people you will ever meet. I know they are just security, but you think the managers of this place would hire people who are capable of smiling. In addition to the terrible service and inflated prices, the dispensary is located in the dirty, sketchy Tenderloin. Every single item on their menu can be found at dozens of other dispensaries in the area for a much lower price! The staff is a bunch of amateurs who think they're skilled in the cannabis industry because they used to sell dime bags in high school. This place is a joke.

This is my favorite dispensary in SF. Their staff is quite knowledgeable and have fun doing what they love.

This is the second dispensary I'd been in and I wasn't too impressed. Staff is friendly, even security at the door. It's unfortunate that their selection isn't the greatest as far as THC vapes are concerned. Or I should correct myself, their stock sucks. I couldn't purchase anything because they didn't have anything I wanted in stock. When a customer is willing to spend some money in a store, that store should be well stocked in all varieties. I don't think I'll be back here.

I loved my experience at this cannabis clinic. The atmosphere is incredible classy, with lush wood tones and leather everywhere. The buds are displayed exquisitely in glass cases front and center, with extracts, tinctures, salves, drinks all lined up alongside. The service was very friendly and helpful, and there's a 15% discount for first time patients. There is a smoking lounge and a dab bar as well, which is a lovely place to hang out with big booths and tables featuring electrical hookups for a vaporizer. Excellent service, good company, and great cannabis.

Didn't really have good answers to my questions which makes me question their actual knowledge of the very limited products they sell. Don't go here if you want many options for different ways to get stoney baloney!

Awesome place to kick back & relax while trying top quality bud. Love the staff here, everyone is friendly and accommodating. I love bringing out of towners here before painting the city because they're always impressed with the lounge + dispensary combination.

Always a pleasure to shop here with.  The buddisttas are very knowledgeable about the products and do what they can to give you options.  Channel waited on me today. She was professional and friendly.  She walked me through what was available and told me about in store specials.  Without a doubt, one of the best run California dispensaries.

This was the worst experience I've had at a dispensary. For starters, it was hot as hell in there. When I was called up by the budtender, I explained that I only ever use CBD products and that I normally vape it. I also mentioned that I'm completely new to THC so I have very minimal knowledge about it. I told him that I was looking for a cartridge with THC in it and maybe a little bit of CBD to curve any anxiety. He didn't say a word and just proceeded to scroll through the Ipad and then gesture toward the cartridges on the screen. I stared at them blankly and repeated that I was new to this and he just asked "well what are you looking for?" I repeated myself AGAIN and he clicked on some random cartridge and didn't even explain why. I asked if I could just have a moment to look at all of them and he nodded and proceeded to sit there with his head on his hand. I felt as if though he thought I was wasting his precious time so I ended up choosing a random cartridge and got the hell out of there. I had such high hopes and expectations for this place and they were definitely not met.

Decoration & interior: 10/10 super luxurious, clean, bright, and new.Service: 10/10 everyone is very friendly and helpful! judgment free zone even if you are a noob. They'll walk you through, give you suggestions, and let you smell/checkout the product or anything before you confirm your purchase. System: 10/10 the check in and purchase process is very smooth. The system that they used (and just switched to) are both fast, and I have never had to wait in line for long. You check in with your id/prescription at the front door area, then you get in line to be helped by one of the cashiers/assistants/staff/budtenders. Also when they switched systems, the new system decided to give everyone 15% off on their purchase (because users were now marked as 'new' on the new system) so I wasn't mad.Product and price: 10/10 they have a great selection of everything and competitive prices for the bay area. Whenever I checked against other dispensaries, barbary usually had the same price if not sometimes lower.Location: 7/10 You have to walk a block or two down a bit sketchy of a street, but close to bart and downtown sf.

Place is legit. Just buy your dank % concentrates and go hit up the dab bar or smoker's lounge.  The dab bar has never been crowded when I've been through, even though there are just 2 dab rigs to use.  They are both e nails, except the last time I went the e nails were broken & had to do it old school with the torch.  Wax price & quality seemed to have gone down since I 1 visited but they say it changes all the time.  Cool ppl chill environment.

This place is so cool. I have been here since is opened. It has become super super cool.

My husband and I used to love to come here years ago before they opened their dab and smoke lounge and they helped us through some hard times. But after recreational hit everything has totally changed. They are understaffed and turn over is high. As a result they have hired some people with horrible customer service skills. They have messed up on multiple online orders and in person orders in the last few weeks with barely an apology.  When we asked one of their budtenders his name to complain about how he treated us when I tried to use the restroom he told my husband "I don't have to tell you sh*t." Not only did their female manager stand behind their awful budtender in a phone call, she nearly slandered me in response by conflating my situation/complaint with another lady who was unhappy with them also yelling at the manager on duty that same night. We will be taking our business elsewhere. Nothing is worth dealing with people who treat you like this after years of faithful patronage.

I came in at 9:10pm as a new customer and good treated really poorly. The employee who ran the lounge made it clear, repeatedly that the lounge was going to close soon. I told him I had never been there before and that I had heard great things about the lounge. Dispite asking to be quickly shown how to work the dab machine more than once, he handed me the tools and let me figure it out on my own. I don't think I've ever been treated so bad in an business that I've visited. Sorely disappointed. Be warned, don't go within one hour of closing if your a new customer.

I would like to say that I bought a bunch of shit here and then had a chance to check out the lounge. However, not the case. I went in on a Friday around 5 and the place was packed. Long line and the Lounge over flowing. Product selection and budtenders were great. I just probably wouldn't go back during the evening or "happy hour".

Went for the first time here very clean and good feel! Right from the entrance where you check in the people greet you and pnce you show I D you go in the to the other room. While you wait to be callled by sales person you can preview ipad options with full access to menu. I was taken by Joon who was very good with service and knowledge! I purshased Green Goddess Tokyo and Malibu so far perfect as Joon suggested! New go to!!

OMG Barbary Coast is the best! Their branded vape pens work so well, and the dab bar has the best tabtenders, Skyler and Nikki! Great place to go to after work to vent (lol).

It's a ass backwards place. I recommend the Green Door or Relief down the street. The lounge is nice. Empty. So empty they wouldn't even let me use it after making a $30 purchase. It was empty so I was like what the fukc. A proud white boy told me the minimum to use the lounge was $40! What a joke. I walked over to the green door and used their lounge for free no questions asked. You would think that a new customer paying $30 for a shitty 1/16 would be allowed to roll in the lounge. No. They lost my business and lots of others. This is the known don't go to place. It sucks. The positive reviews must me from the ow Wes family.If I was white. Would my $30 purchase be enough to use the lounge? I think so. This place is pure garbage.Bedsides all the racism at this place. This place just sucks. The green is not worth the price. One of my favorite dispensaries in SF and a go to whenever I'm by the Mission shop. Barbary has an excellent selection, great tablet menus, and a super fast sign up process. The smoking lounge is a great spot to hang and chat with friends over your freshly purchased goods. Love the dab bar too!The only reason I didn't give Barbary 5 stars is that the service is really inconsistent. I'm a caucasian lady in my 30's with blonde hair, I look like a soccer mom, but in reality I have worked in the industry for 5 years and am the owner of a cannabis company. I don't announce this of course, that'd make me a braggadocios asshole. Where am I going with this? Almost ever time I visit Barbary, the staff immediately treats me like a clueless novice. It makes the interaction awkward, but they have a decent flower selection so it's worth it. I've been a few times with different friends and in groups, and I notice the difference in service style depending on what the staff assumes the persons level of experience is. During my most recent visit I was with 5 people and we were split up in groups of 2 and 3. I was put in the 3 group. I waited while the budtender helped my two male friends, browsed the menu and decided what I wanted while they were being rung out. The budtender rings the 2nd sale and turns and walks away, I say "excuse me", he keeps walking right off the sales area. I'm standing there like "are you serious right now?", I was very clearly talking about products and waiting with the two people he was helping and I was treated like I didn't even exist. My two friends were also surprised and annoyed he walked away and when he reappeared a few moments later my male friend had to call him back over to help me. He seemed annoyed to have to ring me up even though I knew exactly the items I wanted, and in fact ended up skipping out on a few items because the employees attitude was so sour that I just wanted to get something to smoke in the lounge and get away from him.Work on your customer service skills, kids.

Good friendly people work here. I love the oil pens here. I love the selection of edibles. Sucks that they are always out of the sodas but still bomb AF. The King Loui Herb wise was super Dank AF. I've tried the tea here good tea There's a Line all the time but it's worth the wait. The prices aren't super high here and there is a selection of price ranges, which I Love.

Similar to Grass Roots, I love everything about Barbary. The decor, welcoming staff, and big comfy furniture makes you feel right at home. The extensive menus lay out the variety of quality products and the budtenders are helpful (although I read some negative reviews here - my experiences have been good).Parking sucks anywhere on Mission, so be prepared or come on foot.

I really wasn't sure what to expect from this place. I'm based in Jokelahoma which of course DOESN'T have legal weed, so I must say I was a little apprehensive going in here to buy. After my trip here I have to say I walked away very impressed with what they had to offer. 1st and most important, THEY ARE MUCH CHEAPER THAN HARBORSIDE in Oakland. Their setup is also more customer friendly. You enter off the street and there a "bouncer" there to check your ID and log you in. After that you move to the purchasing area where quite frankly it looks like a high end bar. They have ipads setup with their product and prices and budtenders to help you with any questions you might have. Getting a crap budtender at Harborside later made me appreciate the budtender I got at BC. I want to say her name was Adie. Anyway I told her what I was looking for, she got me exactly what I was looking for and as a bonus told me since it was my first time they were running a special on dabs. She invited me to go look at their lounge area, and quite frankly if it hadn't been 9am I proly would have hung out there for awhile. Very plush, sweet setup. I was happy with the product I bought and will def be heading back when I'm in the area.

My girlfriend and I came from North Carolina and we were completely impressed with the vibes and environment. Our favorite part was definitely the dab bar, hands down!

Such a cool place! Clean comfortable and the staff was totally cool and not bad on the eyes either! So much variety and great prices. I got a discount and a free gift for my first time in. And I got to enjoy my goodies on site! Wow!!

From the moment you walk in, you can feel welcomed. Lines can be long, but it's worth the wait. Staffs are nice and offers a lot of details on your needs. Every time I'm here, I would walk out as a satisfied customer. I've been to a few other locations around the city, and nowhere offers the best price for premium products.

Simply stated...AWESOMENESS!!I visited SF during my birthday celebration....and came here to  hang out.  What a CONCEPT!  I only purchased pre-rolls...which was selectable via iPad format.  I'm not a professional nor would I know the difference if given the choice to see the greens in person so I selected the 1st option.  The best part is the lounge...they played a good mix of hip hop, and sold water bottles for $1.  We enjoyed ourselves.  I felt safe with security on premises and the clientele didn't appear to be seedy.I cant wait for the day southern CA adapts this concept.  If they had a bar that sold beer and wine along with a outdoor patio space for cig smokers...that would be a super hot business model.  I'm a fan of this JOINT!!

They have a dope smoking lounge as well as a dab bar. Great vibes and an even greater selection! Hands down my favorite place to visit!

ok... so, here we go.I first went in here a few months ago. I was met by the most friendly and welcoming staff. The ambiance of the place is spectacular. I've now been a somewhat regular patient and I've enjoyed their services. things to mention: *they are extremely open to you taking time to select your medicine. there are no lines or hurried energy. there are big comfy couches with nicely put together menus for you to browse while waiting for your turn or for while just making your decision. *once you've decided to come up to the counter, there are bar stools and an individual budtender to help you for as long as you need and with as much as you need. I've had nice experiences with everyone there. I found that Jovante has been consistently helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure that my selection will not only make me happy, but benefit me. I found that he really listens to what the patient wants and does his best to guide from the selection. That's definitely appreciated when you aren't exactly sure where you want to go with your donation. I have brought a few people and have suggested it to many more... I've also told everyone that ever asks... "yep, that's my favorite club!"  :-) thanx Barbary Coast!

I really love this place. But all the times I have online ordered i have had to wait when I come in. I was under the impression from other clubs/collectives that inline ordering is maybe meant for those of us that don't have extra time to spare...?  Today I waited 10 mins. I was in San Francisco for 3 days, stayed down at the fisherman's wharf. when I looked up dispensaries this was the most magical one I found on Yelp... So I walked all the way from fisherman's wharf which was one of the best walks of my life and when I entered Barbary Coast collective I was greeted by two very incredibly warm and welcoming hosts... Who then guided me to a waiting area prior to meeting my bud tender... My experience was very informative and I still two months later I am using the same pen I got there! They gave me  a stellar experience and very high-quality product! I would recommend Barbary Coast collective to anyone visiting the Bay Area!!!!!!!

Count BC as another dispensary I've had to cross off my list. The transformation after 1.1.18 has been a disaster IMHO. High prices, extraordinarily slow staff, and a special shoutout to the incredibly annoying blonde chick whose phony friendliness nearly caused me to go into insulin shock. The fact she repeatedly started helping other people in the middle of tending to me, after I had waited a good 20 minutes to be helped, was the clincher.

I felt like a kid in a candy store here!!! They have a tasting room!!! This place is so awesome everyone is super helpful, and they're super organized which is a major plus!! Definitely stopping by here again next time I'm in down! Also all their products are amazing.

Sweet to have a place to just chill and smoke. The music was too upbeat for my preference. It was more like shopping music. If it was more chill then this place would have all five stars from me. Other than that, it was great!

Just to start off, fuck this place. Besides the dank weed the service was shit. After waiting in line for a solid 17 minutes I was rudely hassled to pick a selection, even after informing him it was my FIRST time at a dispensery. It wasn't even close to closing time and the jackass kept asking me to pick something. Also i asked to see a menu, his response? my iPad is broken. Mother fucker grab 1 of the other 5 ipads laying around.. I don't know, weed isn't as good if it came from a place with bad vibes just saying.

It really stinks you can only spend 30 minutes here before getting kicked out for smelling like a rotten coconut washed up on your grandmother's boat deck for a few days.

The tenders here were very knowledgeable and took time explaining whatever I asked about on the menu. The selection is incredible, even for this market, many brands had a dozen strains to choose from. They also steered me towards some deals that I would have missed otherwise. The decor is as luxurious as any old cigar bar and there's a section where you can smoke , including flowers.

I was a little disappointed when I was using the website to look at prices to determine the club and Medicine I would purchase.The app is very "Flash heavy " And the menu was not in live time.for you techie people lolSo it downloaded slow and caused me to give this 3 star rating .      When I arrived they told me they had been out since the day before and acted like It was no big deal that the prices and selection ..as well as the social media ad special for 1/4 of medicine for a good price. This ,I can forgive , and do.I have loved this club since before it opened when I got pre registered at the Grassroots Dispensary.        The Issue I hadIs that if I had had real time info I could have gone to a closer club like the Urban Pharm to my house and saved the 7 blocks .      This club is Well designed and gives you the feeling that you are walking into a Saloon From the 1940s Barbary Coast Era...    One of the top 10 clubs Dispite my 3 star rating   In conclusion   Customer service matters     -your app could be linked to register     -Go to this club if you haven't :)                   Happy 420 SF

Incredible place! I loved the old vibe of the leather booths and velvet wallpaper! They only have water to drink so bring in a soda or something to drink if water doesn't do it for ya. Great prices, relaxed atmosphere, TVs and plenty of space to hang. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and prepare to get high because you will!! Can't wait to go back!

This place was so much better than any place we have back home. You don't need a medical card, just your DL. Kinda pricey.... but they accept credit cards!!!!!!! They had a great selection of edibles and cartridges. Again, not a medical dispensary at all, but it was a great place to check out.

Great dispensary on Mission. The service was extremely quick - you walk in, they check your ID, and then you can check the menu while you wait in line. I asked for some recommendations, and the bud tender was extremely friendly and helpful.

Barbary Coast sets the bar for all dispensaries/lounges.  If I am in SF, I stop by.  The product is amazing, the service is even better... and that lounge... its everything!  I've spent a few hours there catching up on emails or working on a project or two...  Warm, inviting and clean.  I wish I could stop by everyday... THE DAB BAR!!!!  I could spend a lot of time there...  The prices are generally a little higher than some other places I have frequented, but its worth it, to me.  You get what you pay for in this world...  and I am willing to pay a little more for this level of service and product.  They also host a lot of events and demos... I have yet to attend one because it just never works with my schedule... I need to make that happen.  See you next time!

Called to get some info and pricing on RSO oil. Spoke to someone incredibly rude who hung up on me twice, then, on my third call, punted me off to someone with better people skills. I will not be patronizing this dispensary.

Literally the best dispensary we went to. Everyone was so helpful and kind! Their selection is literally just INCREDIBLE & very well priced. On top of that the atmosphere when you walk in is just beautiful too. I definitely will return when I'm back in SF! The area when you walk down a block got a little sketchy so just be aware of your surroundings, but I can't recommend this place enough. It's a MUST

Extremely accommodating smoke shop and lounge. Browsing the vast menu via iPad was quite an experience. On the other side, you can enjoy your purchase. The booth was comfortable, and you are provided everything you need. Highly recommended

I came here while in San Francisco for vacation. I heard this place had a lounge where you could consume so I decided to check it out. I visited two other dispensaries in San Francisco that supposedly had lounges prior to coming here. The first place I visited had a very small table right in the dispensary where people were smoking or vaping. The lounge in second place I visited was closed. Needless to say my experience had been pretty disappointing until I came here.The dispensary itself is very nice inside. Wood decor, dim lights, good music. You have to have id to come here just like other dispensaries. They scan your ID into the computer which I didn't like whereas most places that I'm used to just look at your ID to verify your age. After you purchase your stuff the lounge is to the right. You give your ID in exchange for a spot in the lounge. They supply lighters, smoking decices, grinders and papers. You are given a buzzer that allows you to be in the lounge for 30 minutes. I recommend coming at an early time because it gets really busy after about 830. The lounge itself has booths and tables. There is an ashtray at each table. There are multiple screens playing sports. The music is really chill hip hop mainly. It was very comfortable. The only bad things I'll say about this place are 1) the bud tender was not that helpful or knowledgeable about the products and the 30 minute time limit for the lounge. The guy who gave out the bongs was great.

Great ambiance in the lounge and really great items provided for consumption of your purchase. Very awesome customer service and I liked the prices for the caliber of product we were provided! Great options and great products. We enjoyed everything we purchased.

The tenders behind the bar had awesome recommendations. Price was what I would expect for the quality in the jars. The lounge staff was very accommodating.

I stopped by on a Saturday evening (~8pm). The line wasn't that busy. They just took a picture of my id, since I dont have a medical marijuana card. The staff were all very helpful. It helps to take a look at their menu online, so you have an idea. Also, ask questions about anything! They are there to help you. Will come back soon to hang out in the lounge!

Almost moved to the right with stars after my last visit with "DAMON, The Manager".When I advise him competitor sells same chocolate bar for $10 bucks less but only accepts cash, he chats me up for a solid 30+ minutes telling me how he can make a great deal for me and BC by possibly discounting future purchases.Fast forward 2 weeks: Hey DAMON... re: the discount (to price others sell the meds) he knows nothing of it or me and treats me like shite. AND no discount because "Barbary Coast will lose money." This is typical conduct of this place.They're greedy, rude and seem to be going downhill fast.WAY too many great places to choose from now to give your money to uncool people!

What more can I say about Barbary Coast that hasn't been said yet, I think everything has been covered. My experience, the place is in a great location(across the street from my home), They Know Me, budtenders are very knowledgeable about the products they cary and are super cool, just the design of the place catches your eye, reminds me of Miss Kitty's saloon in Gunsmoke,. They are always having daily deals and popping up with the newest products out there, theirs a reason it's called Barbary Coast. So if you never been down here, I highly recommend it.

This place was super cool!  Was visiting San Fran for the weekend and we ended up at this place everyday.  California native but have never been somewhere where you can hangout & enjoy your weed like a bar! Also, the staff was awesome! We were kinda nervous the first time walking in but they were all very welcoming and explained everything without making us feel dumb.  We even partook in the "dab bar" our last visit! Amazing experience, will definitely be back.

We are from out of town and came in here not knowing they had a lounge. We had amazing customer service from the minute we walked it. They made it easy for us to decide what we wanted and we're very welcoming in helping us get set up in the lounge.

For me the location is 1-2 stars. Parking is difficult - but that may not be the same case for you.The rest was great. "Budtender" experience is nice as you can really talk through your wants/needs with them.  I called to ask if they had a certain thing in stock - they were super helpful over the phone.Stopped in - got my credentials checked and got what I was looking for. Really nice classy interior - it makes me want to hang out there longer. Also got some freebies for my first visit.  Would recommend.

This was my first visit to a dispensary and I had such a good experience here! The budtender was well-knowledged and answered all of my questions. I love that they have a dab bar here and a spacious lounge where we can enjoy our goodies. This place is a bit pricier than some delivery services I've used so I'll probably only come when I know I'm taking advantage of their lounge. Can't wait to be back!

It was a nice atmosphere and everyone was friendly. It is in a kinda shady part of town, lots of homeless and transients around there. I forgot my cash, so had to use the ATM inside.Be careful if you use the ATM machine, I punched in my debit card access code and approved the transaction fee but the machine never gave the money...so I did it all again, this time it gave the money by charged me twice for the transaction fee-$2.50. Just be careful!! Go in with cash in hand. Not sure what's going on, but a lot of scammers out there!!

Organized, friendly staff, wide selection and reasonable prices. Smoking lounge in site was pretty cool offering safe-space to light up solo or with friends with a lounge-like feel.

We recently visited San Francisco. My husband wanted to visit this location. The wares were top-notch. The service was great except on Friday night when it was packed wall to wall. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is reminiscent of Old San Fran. Interesting fact we learned from Seth,a concierge, included some history that the decor was based on the location. Apparently this area was the red-light district in the past, hence the red motif. I recommend going early in the day. If you want the best service ask for Addie! She was charismatic and warm.

All the workers are very friendly especially channel A. She is very helpful in finding just the right thing for me every time I get her as a budtender!

I love this place so much, I've been coming here since before legalization and it's been amazing to watch how they have grown and changed/adapted to the new laws while still staying true to their core values. They offer some pretty decent specials too which really comes in handy for those of us bargain hunters. Always be sure to ask what the special for the day is when you come in, you'll always be happily surprised.

I have been coming here for the last two years. The place, staff, and product are pretty awesome. However, lately, they have been changing "systems" pretty frequently, and started giving "reward points" for every x amount of $ spent. So i saved up approximately $80 in points over the past couple of months (i spend at least $100/week  here) specifically for this weekend, my wife and my first anniversary. Today, my name was completely wiped from their new "system" and they said that i only had 3 points towards my account. The staff there would do nothing to help me unless i could bring my receipts in or a bank statement, needless to say, im not bringing my bank statement into a dispensary. It is unfortunate, but i wont be back to barbary coast again. Really, really disappointed in them.

Nice concept.   Lounge style dispensary.  Huge selection.  Smoking area where they give you supplies is a nice touch.  You can purchase and smoke all in one place.I am not sure why they feel a need to take your license and enter you into their database.  Bars don't do that so why should a recreational dispensary do that.  And why are all the sheep so willing to give up their information.Check my id and let me in.  Simple.

They have a good, big menu, but the prices are a bit high. Seems like they are constantly changing their systems and unfortunately I lost all my reward points. I told them to check my history and how many times I've been there, and to explain how I would have accumulated no points. The manager(balding guy, aggro, condescending) I spoke with was clearly annoyed by my issue. He made me feel like I was trying to scam them, which I was not. I let it go and made my purchase. The whole atmosphere has really gone downhill since they opened their lounge. Everyone seems to be really stressed out, especially management. Would have given 1 star, but I added one cuz of my regular budtender, Matt. If you visit this club ask for Matt, he'll give you good service, make you feel welcome and appreciated. Avoid the female manager(Melanie?), I don't think I've ever seen her smile!

I love this place!  It's clean, sexy, and a well run business. I just wish that it was bigger since California law passed. This is my go to!

Main option for a smoking lounge but be prepared to be ripped off by condescending staff. I'll update this review with the name of the chap who was rude AF if I end up there again (with out of town visitors).  Better to buy elsewhere and enjoy in a better location. Only worth going to experience the novelty of smoking indoors in public.

I always have such a good time when I come here. There is an employee at the check in window that I was told is named mike. He's a bearded guy. He was really rude about me visiting the store. I did not have my ID because I forgot it. He then kicked me out of the store because I didn't have an ID when it's really cold outside. I understand he's doing his job but he needs to not be aggressive and respect everyone especially when that someone is a regular. I suggest getting someone new with a polite demeanor to be at check in.

I got to powell street and walk around looking for 5 th or 6 street .Then i saw a very cute yellow gold thick sister.I step to the young lady who had a fat blunt in her hand.I ask her if she heard of the barbary coast weed dispensary.She said no,but you can smoke with me.I saw down the street 5th street,i said thank you but no.And she said you need to cross the street to get to 5th street babe.I said thank you as i cross the street.I got to 5th and i ask a young man if i was near the barbary coast .AND he said you are going in the right direction,it is one block up this side of the street.I saw the sign out-side the door.I enter a beautiful room with people waiting to sign in.THE young hot lady look at my I D and smile and invited me in to a large bar room.I was call to the bar very fast,i was met by a very cute hot bud tender.I knew what i wanted because i had did my research the night before.I GOT 2 fat 8th of FIRE OG it is fire thc levels 24%.I went to the smoke room and roll up 2 fat joints and only smoke one.THE weed was very good the favor of the place really help me enjoy my high.THE people were cool the room was full of smoke just the way i love it.THE lady that work there are very hot sexy,that give the place a wonderful high and feel.THE big screen tv and the music made if feel very relaxing.THE only thing i did not like is the 30 minute time limit.And to many males make if dog friendly.HOT sexy wemen smokeing weed is a big favor lift to any weed bar along with good beats and food and drinks.WITH no time clock you got a popping hot spot for a weed lover who lives out the way.BUT i TRULY love this place why because of the high level THC weed and the good price.A place to smoke and look at wemen is whats popping.VERY clean great favor i will be hitting up this spot alot.There is a another spot that is in the area 2 in fact both have a smoke room.But not as nice plus the other spot weed in a joke. I'm super "high" on this place (yuk yuk). Truth be told - I came here because an employee at another local dispensary told me to. He said they have a much better selection than theirs. Staff was great -- easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable, just good mojo all around. Plus, they have a 15% off for new customers. Surprisingly, not all/many dispensaries do this. This was a really nice touch. Made me feel that they were happy to have my business. The place feels like a bar -- maybe it was before  -- a CHEERS kind of bar --- where peeps are friendly -- the kind of peeps you want to know -- and who know you. I think I just found my neighborhood go-to place for herb.

These guys are somewhat unprofessional , grabbed some shatter only to watch the guy (new guy maybe) grab an already opened package and proceeds to drop 10% of it on the counter trying to show me whats up. Rather than just give me a sealed one after the fumble the dude swears this is the last one in the store, and tries to pick the shatter up that he dropped. Nothing like watching a lazy stoned dude trying to eyeball the shatter he's dropping all over the place. Wouldn't hire this guy at my business, super lazy, doesn't give a shit about customers, couldn't reach over to the next counter and grab a sealed one. Not doing this again, better options elsewhere ....

I recommended this location to a friend visiting SF.  The photos captured the look and vibe of the shop.  He was looking for the Plus products and you were able to provide a nice selection.  I look forward to visiting on my next visit to the Bay Area.

Since this club opened, it has been making constant improvements.  Very strict about validating your prescription, but once you get in it's got a very nice friendly urban vibe.  More cannabis products than any other club in town -- it's like a cannabis supermarket.  Now they have a smoking lounge and a rewards program that gives you $$ every time you buy something.  Definitely 5 stars.

How can you not love Barbary Coast ? The lounge on the side is perfect for indulging in your newest goodies . Plus the dab bar is game changing , did I mention there's a happy hour ?

Good product, cool vibe, and friendly staff. I just left today and Josh helped me out. I told Josh what the occasion was and what I expected, he broke down options for me and he educated me on a lot of product. I go to a lot of dispensaries but most of them don't take the time to educate you. There are a few other employees that actually go out of their way to make your experience easy. Josh was super helpful and he made my experience painless. Send that dude some extra money and love management.

Barbary Coast is the quintessential San Francisco dispensary in my opinion, the interior is classy as can be, really mellow environment, very friendly and helpful and patient budtenders, the flowers I got were absolutely fantastic, they have a big selection of hash too, bonus! Also, the man that checks your rec and ID was astonishingly warm and kind, seriously, the staff here are amazing. 5 stars. This is the best dispensary within walking distance of the financial district, in my opinion. High quality very large A buds, weighed in front of you and a friendly, warm environment, what more could you want?

By far my favorite Dispensary in SF, besides Bloom Room. Barbary CMC has some of the best employees, They have a perfect set up w/ a ipad w the menu. The suggest right buds right products. Prices are up there but quality over quantity. Plus they have some deals every day w eights going for 25-30 and some for 75$. Oh and the Smoke Room is pretty cool not when it's busy though. A lot of first comers come in and start staring. That's how you get knocked out. but Great Place.

The staff was very amicable and willing to answer questions. Very informative of not only the potency, dosage recommendations and variety of products, but also of the current regulations.The ambience is very relaxed yet elegant. It's a great setup.Their menu is extensive, but also easy to read. They guide you through anything you want to know. You can tell they truly love their job and educating people.

They had a lot of patience with answering all my amateur questions.  Very knowledgable staff. Great recommendations and honest answers about the different medicines and delivery systems. Best disposable vape pen prices I've seen in the Bay Area (even east and South Bay). Most generous new-client first purchase gifts I've ever experienced. Move over bloom room. This is my new spot. Interior was beautiful and welcoming. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I walked in with a strict budget and no idea what I wanted and I left with a nice mix of bud and some other goodies. There was also a cute doggie at the bar which was a total plus. It was a little on the pricey side but from what I understand they have great deals and even better medicine! Quite a large variety of quality products, and the lounge can't be beat.  I like that they have a daily email that keeps me updated on the specials, and that they have low budget as well as top shelf medicinals.  Frequent demos and samples by vendors allow you to try before you buy, and as well they often have BOGO (buy one get one, or buy one get half off) on those demo days.  Definitely worth checking out.

Ass soon as you walk in it gives a very James Bond feel it smells amazing and looks really clean. There was kind of a long line to wait in in order to get weed but it was well worth the wait!

Gorgeous interior, clean, well kept, & reminiscent of grassroots but larger.  Was surprised to see all female budtenders which is awesome.  Service was friendly, my budtender patient & knowledgeable. Large selection especially in regards to concentrates & vape choices.

This atmosphere is like the typical bar, except that it allows you to recreationally enjoy yourself in the lounge area. The downside is the poor ventilation; by the time you leave, you'll be completely covered in the smell of it. Beware and bring fragrance. There's also no parking area and the area does not look safe.

Every bit as lovely as the photos suggest.  The moment you walk in the door you're hit with the fresh scent of evergreen and notice the gorgeously calm interior.  They Really set it up right here.   As something of a n00b I glanced over the menu but relied on the super-friendly guy at the bar to guide me based on my mood requests.  I got to see and smell different varieties and felt like I was selecting ingredients for a fine meal. Super clean and relaxed - polite and helpful - I can't imagine a better experience and am already looking forward to going back.

What I love about Barbary Coast is the abience, product and so far the knowledgeable staff, Ive been twice.  I also go to different dipensaries around town, there is one for every kind of spender.  BC has a lot of quality product, and great "budtenders."  They have items like the $110 "hmbldt pens" that wouldn't fly with customers frequenting other establishments,   The parking here stinks, and I haven't price compared, I usually buy oils, and shatter.

I was walking by barbary coast wednesday night was about to go inside, with my girl we both have (cannabis cards ive been there before she hasn't) the security guard (stalky filipino man) must have been feeling verrrry bold to have made an extremely rude comment about me and my girl friend because i was originnaly going to bring her inside, but we didnt have time so we were walking away and he said "she got the pants on the relationship and said something about being broke" i turned i said u better watch the f*ck you say . so his rude vibes are the reason i will never go there again, nor refer anyone else to go there. By far the worst thing a security guard can do . Talk sh*t to a new customer, and a returning customer good job bro thanks for beeing rude a**hole.

I came here 4 separate times and had 2 really bad experiences with the staff. They're not friendly at all. They don't have good customer service. They have a badass lounge but it's unfortunate because the people don't really make you feel welcome. Great product, terrible service.

This place has a very relaxing lounge, it is nice to have that in the downtown area! I picked up two decently priced edibles that had a decent amount of medicine. Every person who worked there was super attentive and seemed. Mike and Seth were busy but still met our needs effectively and in a timely manner. Will definitely return!

Terrible service! My husband worked all day and rushed out to this place from Martinez (east bay) to get there before it closed to get cannabis oil for our terminally ill dog. They close at 10pm. He called as he was running up to the place at 9:56pm and the guy working said he shut the registers down EARLY and he couldn't help him. My husband explained he was there BEFORE they close and came from far away. The guys response? "You should have prioritized your time better." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? We have two small children at home, one is an infant, we are all sick and like I said, he worked all day. We needed this medication for our dying dog. I literally cannot believe this guy. He knows we are at his mercy because nobody else carries this formula. What and unreal and terrible person.

Well stocked. And well staffed. They have also been very customer friendly the few times I've had problems with random vape cartridge failure. A good place, conveniently located in that mini union square they call mint plaza.

I had a great experience here on my first day in SF. They had a great selection and the guy who helped me, Matt, was wonderful. Super helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be doing his job. The best part is definitely that there is a lounge that you can smoke in after you buy, so for people visiting it's great. Everything you need is there. I'll be headed back tomorrow for sure.

I was there on Saturday for The Cohong takeover it was amazing.Got to meet a ton of vendors talk cannabis and smoke.The staff was also great they made sure all the tables and ashtrays were clean. Also made great recommendations on what to get they had multiple deals on product as well as sampling from the vendors.Was with a couple of my friends and we all had a great day.Wish they would do this every week.Thanks soo much to all the staff and vendors who came out.

I asked for a pre-roll, the guy asked me if I will be smoking inside their dispensary. When I replied no, then he says he will have to charge me for the white bag to carry out the store. A minute later I asked "What if I want to smoke inside? Am I forced to smoke the whole thing?" He replied that he will still charge me for the white bag to be precautionary,(which he only said because he knew I had a good point) I said, but a second ago you were asking me if it was inside, why even ask me, if you were going to charge me anyway?.. Last I asked "So basically if I would've came in here, asked for a pre-roll and said I was smoking inside, you would've just charged me for the preroll and that would've been it?" He simply said "probably" with a stupid look on his face. So I said forget it and walked out.  So that's what I get for being honest. I won't go back to this place because there are better.

First time here and I absolutely loved it!!! Very nice front gate guy and was able to browse through there menu while I was waiting for my paperwork to be done since I was a first time member. Very beautiful spot. They have a huge variety of things and they have awesome deals ! The more you spend they'll hook you up with stuff. I ended up leaving with some blue lightning and some og kush! Delicious! Bud tender was super sweet and gave me good tips and goodies! My new fav club . Def be back.

I love this place! Kit helped me the first time and was excellent! After that every employee I encountered have been super knowledgable and nice. I notice they are competitive at pricing as well. The apothecarium (by my house) tried to sell me a vape pen for 60$ I left and went to Barbary and they had it for 45$. So even though Barbary is out of my way I still go there for there excellent service!

Drove over an hour just to go to Barbary Coast and the staff their was extremely rude and unhelpful. I brought my doctors recommendation and 5 forms of identification and they wouldn't serve me. Total discrimination by the old bald manager or whomever he is and he was extremely rude to me. He yelled at me for opening the door myself as I was leaving. I would certainly not recommend a place that turns away customers. Especially a customer that was going to drop over a grand on product!

I do enjoy this place they have excellent products and they also have a new dap bar if you're interested in spending a little bit of money you can hang out in the dark room, it's brand-new. I did have a weird experience last time with a gal who shouldn't have been condescending and rude to me but she was and it rubbed me the wrong way. You don't want to treat people so badly that you SCARE them off. One bad entitled millennial will ruin an entire business and I'd be surprised if she's still working there. Maybe they ought to go through their customer service practices and best policies because you're dealing with a lot of sick, ill, not feeling well, patients who need COMPASSION NOT CONDESCENDING ATTITUDES. Brats have NO BUSINESS HELPING FOLKS WHO YOU GET PAID TO HELP. Write it down and remember that! I don't know maybe she was having a bad day or something but when you're in customer service your bad days don't matter. suck it up buttercup or find a different job!  I'm going to the next club down the street there are dozens.

I would rate it 6 stars if they delivered. This place is great, clean, nice ambiance. The staff is courteous, efficient ,knowledgeable about products and just nice to be around. I have smoked lots of great herb over the past  47 years and I have never been anything but highly pleased with the flower and the prices here  (although I do miss paying  $10 for a "lid",lol.) You can pay more, but you will not find better herb for near their price. Tell um Wayne sent you.

I thought Barbary Coast had a similar feel to another place I have been to in the past. Then I was told Barbary Coast is connected to Grass Roots. I found the people here a little bit more friendly. I asked a question on what they recommended for xyz and their recommendation was perfect.

Easily my favorite dispensary in SF. Love their quality of flowers and concentrates as well as their amazing selection of edibles (Glowing Buddha hot chocolate is my weakness) and the beautiful decor! The staff is super knowledgeable, awesome and friendly and they always have awesome demo and samples which introduces me to thing I might not have tried otherwise (my bloom farms pen is my new best friend) and make sure you sign up for their newsletter because they always have amazing deals going on, two weeks ago I got a quarter of Sour Diesel for $30.. le gasp! These people were very nice, we didn't need to pay for any membership card so that's nice, it was for pure recreation and it was awesome. Weed is ok, and the worst thing that happened was that I felt really relaxed and drove home to Fresno with no problems.

Worth going just to experience the lounge and decor.  I could say more but it is best to just experience it yourself.  It is definitely the cleanest and best looking collective in the city.The medicine is top notch with a huge selection of flowers and edibles.  The staff is really helpful and nice.  Overall, Barbary Coast provides an excellent MMJ environment.

Definitely my favorite place! Kitt the manager found some stickers for me in the back because I said I collected them. Mike was an informative budtender. Definitely the best dispensary! They have a variety of products for all price ranges!

Went here as a first time visitor. The skinny girl at the bar sent off a "hurry the duck up and get out" vibe while technically performing adequate customer service. I was uncomfortable about 30 seconds into the transaction. This woman was cold.

Front desk was an absolute nightmare, I watched as the front desk employee (Michael) rolled his eyes and scolded customers with simple questions about their passports. When I finally made it to the front of the line (took at least 10 minutes to even get in Michael was still on the phone and I politely mentioned to him that I had put in an order to pickup, I wasn't there to shop. He replied very aggressively that he "couldn't hear me" so I once again stated that I was there to pickup an order and he completely snapped on me. He first scolded me for even talking to him by saying, "I'm on the phone" yeah, and you're also scanning MY id in your very hands. Please acknowledge the customer who is standing DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF YOU as well as someone calling with a question. I have honestly never been so put off by a front desk emplyee in my life this employee clearly needs a serious anger management / customer service tutorial because he is a horrible first impression of this business. I will never shop here due to this incident, there are WAY too many other great Cannabis clubs just a few blocks away. Save your time & money and go somewhere else

It's always a pleasure to visit Barbary Coast. I've been a client here for years. I am mostly looking for edibles these days, although I have enjoyed the dab bar and lounge on occasion. I will continue going back to Barbary Coast!

All the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The lounge is great and as a person with MS I appreciate having a lounge to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of deep burgundy leather booths, chairs and good music. Top of the line products. A gem in SF.

I moved to SF about 6 months ago and have been going to BC ever since. The budtenders are great associates who really recommend based on your needs for usage. They are friendly and always make me feel at home when I go. They have a wide range of selections of products and constantly bring in new stuff. It is the go-to place especially since they have a steller lounge that is right next to the counter. Highly recommended to anyone who ventures to SF.

I admit to being something of a novice when it comes to marijuana.  So, I went into Barbary Coast this afternoon and found the staff to be welcoming, knowledgeable, and patient.  I asked a ton of questions before I made a purchase.  Whether you are indoctrinated or a newby to the world of medical marijuana, I absolutely recommend Nate, the General Manger, and his staff.  Smart and compassionate.

Great dispensary with wide selection, good prices, and awesome vintage interior decor (the budtenders who helped me were great, as well). In addition, there's an awesome consumption lounge which shares the same space where you can hang out for a while and enjoy your products with other patrons. I unfortunately forgot my ID at the lounge check-in, which was an issue since I didn't discover this until I got to the airport. After going through extra screening since I didn't have a photo ID on me, I saw that I had several missed calls from the same number. It was Joe, the manager, calling to see if I had made my flight (I'd left a frantic voicemail on the dispensary's machine) and apologizing for what happened! As though it were in any way his or any of his coworkers/employees fault that I'd left my driver's license there. So, in addition to being an overall awesome place to begin with, know that the folks there care about your well-being, and while I wouldn't recommend it, you can count on them to mail you your driver's license and not make you feel like a big dummy in the process! Wish I could give more stars.

Hey People!! Just visited the newest Cannabis Dispensary on the block called the Barbary coast, and let me tell you it was a great experience! First off the inside of this dispensary is very tastefully decorated and inviting. The Bud tenders were knowledgable and patient while i looked through the different strains they offered. the price is similar to other clubs in the area but with a very good selection they have fair prices. Looking forward to going there again soon and this will be my go to club! Check them out!!!!

Barbary Coast--an homage to San Francisco's famed red-light district of the late 19th and early 20th centuries--is the city's finest dispensary.  An oasis of comfort and style ensconced in the homeless-infested ruin and slumtastic ugliness of the SOMA/mid-market corridor, the persian rugs, mahogany counters, tropical plants and French-colonial ceiling fans evoke the sleek gangsterism of post gold-rush SF.  No gangsters inside, though, or thugs at the door.  The managers are gentlemen of the highest order.  The charming lady bud tenders are always helpful and friendly. The selection and quality of flowers and concentrates are unbeatable, too; their mid-shelf stuff is better than what most clubs sell at $55 an eighth.  If you live in the Tenderloin you can go to Grass Roots.  Same owners, though the guys who work there are pricks (not Justin; Justin's definitely *not* a prick).  There are many dispensaries closer to me, though I make the trip down to Barbary Coast four times out of five.  It's worth the hassle.

Awesome dispensary.  Professional, clean, very upscale.    They really seem to be building out a long-term successful business focused on the customer rather than making a quick buck.    Certainly a welcome change from some of the other SOMA dispensaries that I've been to.

Great place with great people. I don't have to add on med quality as it is a good standard potent quality with high medical value as it is not only grown, but stored properly. Everyone who works there is awesome and down to earth and I really feel as an equal talking the complexities of cannabis and even pharmaceutical meds I'm prescribed. They have always maken sure I am taken care of and will definitely be able to do the same for you be it hook it up or share some not well known info about the medical benefits that may help you choose the right bud for your needs. Plus their supply is usually stable as far as strains even though jars are obviously emptying.This is tied with the dispensary I grew up with as the best. While the other is a community space with vaporizers it is across town and small. This place is meant to help people on the volume that sparc can handle although they lack vaporized, which is not a problem as it is easy to find some to acess nearby.To conclude stop by this place before others in the area they will help you out.Ps. Trying the mj4x pheonix tears Rick Simpson formula, which I believe is the same person producing the mj2x4pain rub that has the arthritis and normal version that just rock and I steadily buy. I'll update once I get a good feel for the oil although by look, trade, and texture it seems amazing especially due to it being pretty solid.This Simpson formula rocks. The website and package don't really reveal much although after searching on Google it is something like 50% thc 25% cbd although I might have the cbd wrong. Either way my pain is gone and I'm passing out with a big rice sized dab dripped onto bread. If you have a .001 or even .01 scale you can buy capsules cheap at some health food store and after zeroing the weight with the capsul whatever you weigh will be 50% the e weight thc and 25% cbd making 100 mg or 0.1 oil capsul containing 50 mg thc and 25 mg cbd. This is active thc too and not THCA so it can make you sleepy. Amazing product just wish I knew what oil was used. Dose is recommended once at morning and night as the half life can be 12-24 hour part of the reason thc stays in the system so long as well as has long term benefits more in.my hypothesized opinion. I think 4 dose max is not over doing it depending on a person's need. There is also a 60 gram 90 day cancer dose program recommend as well as they mention diabetes benifits as thc promotes the body to deal with insulin. Anyways enough info today go learn and talk to your tenders about what's right for you rather than guessing. Medicine is about you making your own choices based on the community understanding.

They have good quality medicine and reasonable most of the time, not always. Nice open decor and friendly people and atmosphere once you get in. But the neighborhood is rough, and parking is non-existent. The club looks inviting with their elegant decor. However, I don't know if they test their meds for potency or pesticides.

Super knowledgeable and comfortable staff. The space itself knocks you off your feet but the environment really helps you appreciate it all. Can't wait to come back when I'm in town and try some delicious goods.

The owners of Barbary Coast have decided to pass the cost of their fancy new smoking area on to their customers. Which is typical in the city. They now require a $100 purchase to get a "free" pre-roll or edible.  That  is about $25 more than you used to have to buy. I will say that I have always liked the variety of products that they have, and that they don't charge you to buy things from them, like clubs that are "cash only" and have  ATM machines that they own and you have to pay to use. Or places like Sparc, that accept CC's, but it costs you like $1 to use them. BC's prices are all over the place, but are on the too high side for some things.  I don't think any club should have 1/8ths that cost $60 - $65! Especially not when they are pre-weighted to the exact gram amount. That is just wrong. The club owners in SF are making money hand over fist through gouging the people who made it possible for them to be in business in the first place. There are too many clubs in the city, for any body to pay too much for anything at any time here. You can also hop on over to Oakland, where I have yet to see any club with the obnoxious prices for medicine that we are subjected to here.

I've been to pretty much every clinic in the downtown/SOMA region and this is hands down the best one yet. Despite this hidden gem being next to my favorite bar (Tempest) it is so discrete that I never noticed it. Super experience from start to finish. Lots of amazing high quality strains with very reasonable prices and  great staff. I ended up getting 2 free pre rolls and an edible for being a new patient and spending more than $60. Oh and they take credit card which means air miles. This will definitely be my go to dispensary going forward.

I have been purchasing cannabis from Barbary Coast for quite some time now.  Their selection of flowers, concentrates, and edibles is quite extensive.  The quality is extremely high.  Check out their Durban's Revenge, Banana Kush, and the King Louis XIII OG, for example.  Their staff is friendly, professional, and have been extremely helpful, especially with friends of mine who were first-time patients.  Of particular interest is their ongoing soonsorship of presentations from many of their vendors, who often give away free samples of their latest products.  They also sponsor free massage on a regular basis.  In addition, they have permitted the San Francisco chapter of the Brownie Mary Democratic Club to have their monthly meetings on the second Thursday of the month at 6 pm in their next door space at 950 Mission Street.  Nest time you're in downtown San Francisco, pay them a visit.  I am confident that you will be glad you did.

Barbary Coast is one of the few Bay Area dispensaries that has no compassion program at all for low-income disabled patients. Their prices are the highest I have seen out of about a dozen San Francisco dispensaries I have visited. They required my email when I registered as a patient with them (before I saw the high prices) and put me on their advertising list. On two occasions now, I have received an email saying there are free samples available at a certain time, and then when I show up at that time, they are out of samples. Wanting to address this false advertising with a manager, I left a note with my complaint and contact information in their suggestion box. A week has passed and I have received no response.

This place has a nice selection the budtenders there know their stuff. This is now my place of choice for meds. The prices are very reasonable.

I enjoyed this dispensary on saturday when I recieved my rec. But out of the five medical clubs that I attended that day this one was almost my least favorite. The staff helped me closely with joining, but they were hesitant at first. I did get to join the collective, but I believe it was through my reasoning and effort. This club was not really on my side to help me join and that was actually upsetting. Their product was great and they had a very friendly work force, at least the bud tender I worked with. The flare here was impressive though. From the leather old time couch to the decedent, huge list of medicine in the form of a menu, that was actually kind of hard to read. The color coding didn't make any sense until the staff explained it. I did like their products, being mostly original strains such as jack herer, cookies and og. You could not try the medicine inside the dispensary, which was a bummer. I would give these guys three and a half stars but I didn't because it wasn't up to the standards most other clubs I went to were on.

One of my favorite clubs in the bay area.  Great prices, great selection.  The budtenders were very helpful in choosing what I wanted.  The interior and menu make you feel like you're in a high class restaurant.  I highly reccomend this club to patients who like high quality medicine at good prices.

My new favorite dispensary, from effortless and polite check-in, to very cool bud tenders and delicious medicine.  Large selection of everything.  Really, really nice place. On Mission Street in San Francisco.

My go to dispensary due to the variety and quality of products. Prices have tax included. Smoking bar and dab lounge included but closed during covid

I went to a lot of dispensaries until I found Barbary Coast, now this is the only place I buy from. The team is amazing, I've never had a negative experience. The budtenders are always friendly and knowledgeable and the manager, Rae, does a fantastic job.

I have been coming to this place for years, (when it was a book store), I love buying my smoke in such a nice and mellow place. The prices are great and compared to other dispensary's Barbary Coast is one of the best. Highly recommended, 5 stars, 3 yippees and a praise the High one!!

This place actually sucks as a dispensary came in at 9o'clock when I got here it was closed , on Google and over the phone they say they close at 9:45.....Please  never ever come to this dispensary place sucks

In a stop in San Fran for cousins 50th birthday. This was our first stop. I have to say the ladies from the check in to the check out were very nice and helped me understand what was what . Easy peasy with showing your ID and a nice selection of TCB products. Secure environment. Great packaging. And great prices. Understand in CA you do not need a card

I've been coming here fakeway for about 6 months off and on but tonight was special! I went in on a budget and without a hoodie I had to make that choice .... 1 8th or 2 you know we allll been there ATM to far don't wanna pay the fee so you work with the work ... or with what you working with in ya pocket. I get up there and boom I meet Miss Maia she rocks btw she didn't even notice that I noticed her driip before I even got in her line I saw the chrome hearts hoody peakin thru and she assisted me in my time of need yea making that choiceS she was hella cool, she told me take my time cuz it's "hella on there" she was like cool without doing 2Much like ya potna you don't remember her name but you rock with her everytime you see her and you be like why I don't kick it with her more .... I place my order and she goes hmmm onnnnne second she goes to the back brooooo she goes you cold!! I go a little she goes good this is for you (see pic) and boom there it is .. she was dope before that but she now is the BB of the Club 2 Me Baddest Ya feeeel me got it good see girl told ya check in 5 mins my bad it was like 8 later skaters!!! Well... This is the best dispensary and the customer service is friendly aside from the young security guard. I still see him but haven't chit chatted with the guards lately.

I just had my 3rd visit to the Barbary coast dispensary. The folks I've dealt with are helpful & friendly, the service they provide is good. A little pricey even with the Sr. Discount. I like this place because I live in the Parkside/sunset which makes going to BCD convenient. If I could be candid,you can find better deals elsewhere. However, I don't see a problem visiting here. BCD is 5mins from my house & several blocks from my bank. To be fair in my review I haven't tried any flowers , I've only purchased hash & concentrates that are brand names & consistently good quality.

Solid folks, from the security guards to the front desk to the team. Pretty laid back & mostly chill, I feel like I'm walking into a nice home LOL(the rug). Use to go to apothecarium a lot but BBC (hush)  has stole my heart & wallet for now!

Been here a couple times now for my carts. Always been happy with the product and the price. Love the look and feel of the place when you walk in! Staff is knowledgeable and will help you get exactly what you need. Nice online menu and digital tablet menu in store. In and out quick and easy.

Antonio brought some awesome Real Holiday spirit with my delivery. And took couple minutes out to share it with me. It was good for my soul.(12-24-20) And 5-21-21 he is still the greatest soul! I am just an Antonio Fan and honestly Barbary Coast is now my spot!: Asia also brought her beautiful energy to delivery and over the phone! Crazy my $1 gift was the exact thing cuz I took out because of funds We give thanks!

Quinton was awesome. He helped me find items to address some specific pain issues I’m having, and took time to explain WHY he recommended them and how I can effectively use the products. It was a fantastic visit, and his suggestions have been spot on in helping my pain. He even brought a chair so I could sit and relax while shopping. I appreciate such service.. I walked away feeling more educated and confident about my products purchased. Thanks!

Great prices, nice store, friendly staff, and expedient deliveries. Plus you earn membership points for your purchases. Ordering online is super easy, barely an inconvenience! Delivery from Dave was professional, and friendly, and brought the delivery right to my apartment. Ordering early helps get it out quickly. Kevisha had my order here in only a few minutes. Asia was my delivery driver, and she was super cool. I've been with Barbary Coast for a number of years and all of the staff are usually pretty great. I hadn't met this particular young lady before, but was pleased she turned out to be as awesome as the rest of them. Sometimes I walk in, as it's only about five blocks for me, but I started doing delivery while quarantined and I've kept that habit. It's free delivery so I try to tip decently when i can to make it worthwhile for the driver. Their delivery is always fast, courteous, and professional. Shout out also to Antonio and Mike who have also been my delivery drivers in the past. I have dealt with Antonio on numerous occasions over the counter and as a delivery driver, and I've always felt he was top-notch in customer service. A great asset to Barbary Coast to have him in their employ.
