Got my card about 6 months ago and tried many dispensaries in Santa Rosa. It didn't take long for me to settle on this place as my go to spot. I cannot stress enough how fairly priced their products are and how consistently good the quality of everything is. I like that there are not too many pricing levels and too many mediocre choices. Everything they carry is top shelf and well priced. It's also the perfect spot to go if you like to stay low key about your use. Super efficient place to get what you need. They are always friendly, extremely patient and have created a mellow cool vibe in the store.

SMH is my go to store when I need cannabis, High CBD meds, and edibles. The service is friendly. The budtenders know what strains are best for each condition. SMH's quality is unmatched. They will treat you with respect and dignity and help you find the medicine that is best for you. They do not accept credit cards, but they have an onsite ATM that only costs $.95 per withdraw.

This place is swanky. They guys I saw working there were great; super friendly, extremely knowledgable, great Ink. The atmosphere is very posh, I love the floors and fish tanks. I definitely don't mind spending a little more for great service and top quality stuff.

I went for a follow up visit with the doctor on Thursday.  My health has continued to improve.  I went over my use of high CBD oil during treatment with my doctor.  My liver continues to improve.  During the routine blood pressure check, my bp was lowest read in my memory  100/63.  I asked the Dr. if I was still alive, laughing.  I continued with a 40 day maintenance program of the high CBD oil after completing my therapy.  The Dr. has told me that my body is still recuperating/rejuvenating, and that I may be able to look forward to a lowering of my medications.    current medications:  3 for autoimmune                       3 for b/p                       1 for acid refluxQuality medication=quality healthcare to this survivor

Every time I've come in, I've always left happy. Always top quality. Limited selection. Amazing customer service. Cash only. Will defiantly recommend/return.

Assholes. Overpriced. Total disrespectful attitude. Accuse me of loitering out front as I was walking in. One joint cost over $20. Complete and total use of the game what a fucking shame this will be the end of their relationship I guarantee you got a shit location shit prices tried to serve shit people absolutely terrible spot to go I am a grower and I do not recommend the spot at all if you feel like being treated with respect or not paid a arm and a leg for a goddamn joint

I had the pleasure of meeting Mike and Gary when I entered Sonoma Medicinal Herbs; they were great guys that were very knowledgeable about the medical benefits of each strain and hooked me up with current sales and deals as they swiftly answered all my questions and helped find what I needed.The place is kind of big for the size of their establishment, but I'm sure that'll fill out overtime as they grow and grow!

These kind folks are awesome, super helpful and upbeat. I dig how nice and clean and easy to use this location is. Plus, we've got no clubs in Petaluma. I'll go back again.One suggestion, a bigger variety of clone strands and styles. Hoping for more next year!

Very helpful service. The selection wasn't huge, but they had about a dozen bomb strains.  Everything is grown in-house, and they don't buy off random vendors so they can remain consistent. They allow you to look at the various strains under magnifying glasses, and you are also allowed to smell and touch the buds as well, which was nice considering that most clubs in Santa Rosa only allow you to make decisions by just looking. They have some really awesome hash, which is butane/chemical free and  has been tested-- the only bummer was that it was super over-priced, like $58 plus tax.   I ended up getting an eighth of Platinum OG, which was excellent.  The prices are a standard for dank indoor ($45/eighth).  Would recommend.

Ok... I don't support middlemen dispensaries. They rip off he patients and profit from a grey area loophole that allows us all to smoke pot legally regardless of our ailment, because cannabis has been proven beneficial for terminally ill patients. I always start conversations about dispensaries this way because I'm educated and passionate on the subject.Now, on to my review.Most dispensaries have someone who works there as a "buyer". Their job is to buy the product at the lowest price possible, hurting the growers who are generally patients trying to do little more than cover the costs of their own medical treatment as the laws outline, allowing the management of the retail facility to mark up as much of a profit on those products as possible. This hurts the patients, who need their medicine made accessible and inexpensive. Also, there are commonly problems with potency, mold or pest issues, or just the unfortunate fact that someone may find the strain that is their own medical holy grail, only to come back and find they are sold out.This dispensary is entirely different. All of their products are produced by them so you're basically buying from a group of growers who are covering their business costs themselves. This allows them to offer their medicine a bit cheaper than other dispensaries, but naturally it's still the same ball-park... Great consistent quality on the same strains whenever you need them is invaluable as a patient. If you're a "patient" this place is also great because their selection and variety are priced competitively as far as dispensaries go.So, until you meet a grower who suits your own personal needs (and i do recommend all legitimate patients find one rather than using clubs), this is a very cool dispensary alternative... Sort of.Also, free 8th of OG first visit :)

I agree with the previous reviewer - I can't believe this place hasn't been reviewed more!Although I live in San Francisco, where there are many fantastic dispensaries, I have been a pretty regular customer of SMH since trying their phenomenal OG Kush hash oil at the High Times Cannabis Cup this past June.  These folks have some of the best cannabis I have ever had.I believe that all their medicine is lovingly grown by the proprietors and their butane free hash oil is out of this world.  If you are a fan of concentrates, I highly recommend it. Their prices and new patient specials are great.  Strains that really stand out here are their flagship OG Kush, which is always available.  Their headband, platinum headband, and blue dream are also top notch.  Great selection of tasty edibles and strain-specific pre-rolls also available.Although there are few strains available, only one Sativa, and they do not change their menu all the time as many other clubs do, for indica fans or those who know what strain works for them it's nice to know that there's a place for consistent and regular access to the same thing.  I use indicas to calm anxiety so quality control and consistent access to the best medication is very important to me.Additionally, the staff is very professional, knowledgeable, articulate and patient.  I can't rave enough about this place.Keep in mind that SMH is closed on Sundays.Highly recommended for the discerning patient!

Whenever I find myself in Sonoma I always stop at SMH! The selection is top shelf and the quality is consistent. The CBD oil and the "miracle cream" are the types of medical cannabis products that will change the world as we know it! I bought the cream and I now use it regularly for joint pain on my ankle. It works really fast and is unbelievably effective. The 50% CBD oil is solvent free and I even got a free vaporizer for the oil. All this and the staff is nice and knowledgeable too. I am a big fan.

This place is the opposite of posh, fyi.  It is one tiny room, bare bones!  Which is neither here nor there.  Never buy from a dispensary that accepts only cash, because when the product is misrepresented or fails you have no recourse.  And they never answer their phone so u never get to talk to a real person unless you go there.  It is not a reputable place.  Check the date on most of their reviews -- old.

Very professional and organized. Have good solid strains and great quality. Usually only top shelf but again good quality. Only bummer is that they are cash only. They do have an ATM but there is of course a fee and then an additional one I get from my bank. So gotta make sure to take cash. Otherwise chill place.

Wasn't impressed.. from so cal, thought we'd find a good spot up here, but not... Charge tax? Only one strain FTP deal?.. and wouldn't hook up my girl with a sativa FTP deal... no love  shown at this spot thats for sure. Too bad

I have been a patient at SMH for more that 2 months. I stumbled apon the dispensery out shopping on day, I am glad that I stopped, after having not so good experience at other places I was always looking for a profesional and safe place to get my medicine. To start off when i entered the dispensery Wow, I couldnt help but notice the decor and over all feel. The owner I believe was very freindly and assuring that I had indeed came to the right place. . For a moment I thought I was in a spa. they provide top quility medicine and have been reliable on every visit. SMH also provides additional info about the different Medicine Strains. they definately are on the cutting edge of dispenseries,  To wrap up my review, as a cancer patient for over 4 years, it is a relief to know that  medicine is provided by SMH and gladley happy to be a patient and wish but good things for them and me.signedpatient relieved

I will first say that the quality and price of the products seem just fine, I feel that it was like a glorified drug dealer, working out of his dorm room. The selection was very limited, and the place had a very cold unfinished look, like it was in a garage.   Lastly they don't allow vending, I think they are limiting the patients selections, Clones? Seeds? , maybe they will find a smart business investor to help them out.

This place sucks. The only good thing on the menu is Plat HB. The people who work there try to sell you on the fact that their medicine is the best stuff around but its all bullshit. Weed sucks here, I would rather smoke outdoor than any of the bammer they got in this club.

Sour d they sell is worst ive tested in my lab in long time.. they do not test their product and say its consistant every grow... BS! The only grower doesnt know what he is doing it seems... be careful what you get here.

As a Senior Citizen, going to a dispensary is a new experience.  This place, however, was excellent!  I was greeted immediately, "checked in," and then the friendly staff patiently guided me through my options and explained about the strains.  Prices were certainly reasonable, and as a "new customer" I received an additional amount for free.  The buds are fresh and effective.  Will definitely return!

Return visit : When I mean things haved changed , I meant it, it seems that a few people no longer  work there. guess someone took my advice . I was in the club the other day and Eric helped me with my med's. He was so kind to me , it made up for the last visit. I thought I would  never go back but eric has changed my mind, others should follow by example, If only other places could make changes because people change with the times and Sonoma Medicinal Herbs "aka  eric"  is the type of business I will continue to support and wish them luck . by the way the place looks great love the new look! and the sand Mandala .

Why this place has not been reviewed dozens of times is beyond me.  This is weed heaven!  The quality is beyond compare.  They only grow their own so the consistency can't be beat either.We had to mix their OGKush it was so strong and their Blue Dream is the real thing...finally.Mike was extremely knowledgable and compassionate.  The atmosphere is relaxing and really beautifully done.  Their products are displayed like jewels and they even have their strains under magnification.They only sell top shelf but their prices are much better than the greater Bay, only 14 a gram.This is by far the most exquisite dispensary I have been to yet and I travel all over the Bay and have compared a lot.  They are worth the drive if you only go see them once!

Yesterday I made my first trip inside SMH. I had no idea they've been around as long as they have (3 years) as I'm a frequent customer to a neighboring business. The dude that signed me in and showed me their selection was incredibly welcoming and polite, and the dispensary itself is very clean which makes you feel thst much more welcomed while making a visit. They aren't the biggest dispensary around, but I much prefer the customer service and personable atmosphere of these smaller dispensaries. I wish I'd noticed them sooner after all this time, I would have become a customer long ago and plan to be one as long as their doors are open. Drive a few blocks up from the big "box store" location down the road and check this place out, you'll be happy you did

YOU GUYES ARE ALL CRAZY. This places goes up and down every week. Sometimes terrible. Sometimes its good. Do not buy the OG as it is moldy 50% of the batches. This guy doesent know how to grow. No club should push what this guy pushes 50% of the time. The PLAT. HEADBAND is the only this thats worth your 50 an 8TH. And now even that is up and down. The oil is the most expensive i have seen in any club. 69$ a gram. He says he's the only one in the world to have solvent free oil. lol. Lots of the clubs have the solvent free oil, and there 40$ a gram. man o man. Go some wear else. I'm a medical patient just trying to get what i pay for. some of the stuff i get from here I end up just throwing away. There was also a good two month period wear his blue dream was out door! He also sells a vapor pen for 120$ o wow. Go to a  E CIG store the sell them for 30-40$ and they are all over santa rosa. Ime

Best club for the value right now in Santa Rosa area . Taxes are included in listed price so compared to other clubs, it is cheaper and the quality is better for the price you pay.

I love coming to this dispensary because they always  have really great deals and a good selection of product that keeps growing every time I come in, I have been telling all my friends about this place and I highly recommend it!!

I have been to several dispensaries in Sonoma County and Sonoma Medicinal is absolutely the best! I love the convenience of pulling up and waiting in your car for service. No standing in line in the hot sun. Their staff is always very friendly and professional. Most importantly they have the best products and prices in town! Did I mention they are five minutes from my house... added bonus! Go Sonoma Med!

I've never actually been inside this place because of covid but the staff outside is super nice and helpful. They have been very easy to deal with and I like their products.

Today, Another day, another dollar spent here. DOLLARS WELL SPENT THAT IS! HahaAndddI ALWAYS get great service here. These bud tenders are always so genuine. They don't just try to sell you anything. The manager Colin is awesome! First time I've been helped by him. He was super helpful, I appreciated his expertise, he was patient, I like to ask questions, I'm probably annoying sometimes. Ha. I seen his name tag and realized he was the manager. Perfect leader this place has. I already know his team is awesome. Thanks again Team SMH for keeping me elevated and medicated.

Great, FAST service. There's no surprise charges added at the end because taxes are all factored into the price on the menu, making it easy to bring the appropriate funds. Moreover, the curbside pickup is efficient, effective, and covid safe. They also have a fabulous selection of concentrates, all with fair prices. My last order was of mostly one brand, and they even gave me free merch from that brand! Highly recommend this dispensary for the Sonoma County area, and I have tried a lot of them as I am always looking for the best prices for the best products.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I went in to Sonoma Medicinal Herbs to get a salve for neck pain, and two cartridges. I saw online that there was a sale for 1g for $20 for big chief carts. (that should’ve been my first clue that something wasn’t right) I’ve never heard of this brand prior to buying. Upon arrival home, my fiancé and I both tried each cartridge and realized it had no psychoactive effects. We did our own research and saw very scary articles of illicit carts being sold under fraudulent companies and how many of the carts that look real, are indeed just duplicates. I called Sonoma Medical Herbs and explained the situation, and also tried to explain how alarming this was to my fiancé and I. The man on the phone sounded offended (when I meant no offense at all, I was just trying to give them the information I had, since I would want to know about these bad products if I was selling something of the sort as well) but told me to come on back and I would definitely either get my $40 back, or I could exchange for something new, but also explained that many other coworkers smoke these carts and feel effects from them. I decided to take more time out of my day to go back because they said they would honor my return, and when I got there, I once again explained my situation to a lady that came out for my order. She said, “no problem at all. let me go ahead and return that for you.” She then came outside and said her supervisor would be out in a second. The supervisor was actually the man I spoke to on the phone the day before, and he proceeding to angrily explain to me that since there’s actually nothing wrong with them, he can’t return them. Then he even had the audacity to blame the bad cartridge on my tolerance being too high. He was extremely rude and not only wasted my time, gas, and money, but also went back on his word that he gave me the day before. I know in my business, if the product i’m selling to my customer is not effective, or my customer isn’t happy with a product i’m selling, I would do whatever I could to make them happy. Whether that may be a refund, or an exchange. This company lacks integrity and lacks care and concern for their customers while also selling TERRIBLE products. I am out my $40 and am stuck with 2 cartridges that don’t get you high whatsoever!
