My first time here and the workers were pretty rude. Not helpful for a first time buyer. I will never come back!!!

This is a really nice place with a great selection of edibles, tinctures, and flower! Staff is super nice and helpful, and always very knowledgeable about the products. They pretty much always have some sort of sale or deal going on. They also have delivery and pickup options!

Alternatives will always get my business, their selection, service and price make them number one in the county as far as I'm concerned!

I had a good experience, I ordered online and picked up.   Met the owner she's a very sweet lady, gave me a free little gift, The gal helping me was friendly, she reminded me of a free item I qualified for (they had a sale I was not aware of). Parking is not the best when they are super busy =[

They have the best deals in town! Only place I go to purchase anything. I get texts with offers all the time. They are never really sold out and always have what I want or need.

Brandon works at Flora Terra and Rob is gone also.They were the only reason I ever went to this terrible club. Alternatives doesn't stand by what the website says and when confronted they give you a bunch of mouth service. Aloha Aina is better and they offer a curbside discount if you stay in your car.  Alternatives line gets long inside and it  definitely doesn't feel safe if your into the 6 ft rule. Parking is absolutely ridiculous, spend some of that money and provide appropriate parking for your customers LADY. So many other clubs to choose from.

Normally I would rate this dispensary at a 4 star rating. But my last experience about 10 minutes ago was pretty frustrating. I've worked in the packaging and harvesting aspect of the industry so I've helped grow the product and package it for retail. In that sense I like to ask to see if there is an industry discount. I ordered 2 half gram stiiizy live resin hybrid dub breath. The product is fire. By the way I was the only customer with 5 workers there. A couple customers came in but at most there was 3.Issue was that the cashier couldn't scan the items and after communicating with another coworker it still didn't work. I am frustrated because the staff was not responsive to the situation in a fashion that seemed respectful. I overheard a staff member say, "OH NOW HE WANTS IT CHEAPER".Are you serious, you've been avoiding eye contact and resolving the issue. You left your budtender all on his own. You should have managed the situation.

The people who work there are nice , product they sell is trash . I've given them the benefit of the doubt but time and time again I been disappointed , stay away from this place spend your money somewhere else.

Whatever you do , do not come here for seeds if you expect them to actually grow.  We bought a dozen seeds here.  There were actually 30+ seeds in the packet, presumably to make up for the fact that they were mostly duds.  We planted 24 of these, and had three sprout.  I visited Alternatives and explained the situation and they will not refund or exchange.  They seem to not be willing to stand behind the products they sell.  Be wary with this place!!! It's just like gambling, only play with money you can afford to loose.  I'm absolutely shocked at the lack of value here.

I like the friendly and mellow people who work here. They are knowledgeable and efficient. This place is our go-to for CBD products which have become necessary for pain relief. They always have an ample supply which was an issue at other places we have tried. We use it for our older dog's arthritis. Just put a few drops in her water and she's much more comfortable. My husband and I also use the Pappa & Barkley releaf balm for sore joints and it helps immensely. We have become regular customers and we really like this place!

If you want the lowest quality this is where you will go. If you want to get sick this is the place for you. It's the thrift store of dispensaries ... yuk.

Alternatives always has my back, every time I come in to the shop the bud tenders are happy and ready to help me find what I really need. Today Daniel (or Danny) was able to help me find something to settle my stomach and help me with my insomnia, and I was able to get what I needed without breaking the bank, I am very indecisive so I appreciate the patients they have with me and how welcome they always make me feel:) really

If you are unsure which dispensary to go to I would definitely recommend alternatives. They have get deals and promotions frequently. Today I al go for their green Friday deals and will am getting a buy one get one free elite cartridge, you can't beat this!!!!!

Prices are great for concentrates, but some of the male employees need to learn better attitude skills. The girls are fine, it's mainly the guys who have cocky attitude. If the prices weren't good, I'd definitely not be returning.

I discovered this place about three weeks ago while searching for some cbd dog treats on behalf of a friend of mine who was stuck at work with an ailing dog. I had no idea they existed, let alone that they were so close to home! I called in and they were super friendly and helpful so I went right over, was given all kinds of great information and was on my way. A couple of days ago it was my turn to refill my own personal supplies so I went straight there and received the same amazing happy and informative customer service as the first time. I actually even feel like I paid a lot less than the dispensary I'd been using previously so win/win!I will definitely be returning and giving high recommendations to friends and family.

Ordered an online order at 6:26 pm and I get a Call from them saying it will about an hour to an hour and a half wait. Here I am 8:50 pm and I call them and ask an update about my order and a girl had told me she would probably end up having to bring it to me herself when she clocked out at 9:00pm. I'm waiting for her call , she doesn't call me after she said she would when she was coming. Here I am at 9:30 pm, AFTER they've closed and I called and they have the nerve to tell me that the driver is barely 15 mins away to get my ORDER THAT HAD'NT even been picked up from there store yet, so here I am getting my order at about 10:00pm wayyyyy later than I wanted to even stay up. They made me wait, wait and wait, 4 hours later. I could've just drove there and got it myself if I knew the delivery service was so horrible regardless of how busy they are this is not acceptable what's so ever. I know it doesn't take 4 hours to get from Santa Rosa to Windsor for a delivery. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR DELIVERY SERVICE they should cancel that.

I just want to say that grace is awesome Budtender. She's always very friendly and knowledgeable about all products.. You need more employees like her.

Don't bother with the menu on their website.  They have never, not a single time in 7 attempts (various times of day), had the "in stock" product I placed an online order for.  All necessitated a call from Alternatives staff saying they didn't have what I ordered.  However, only 4 times have I actually received a call.  Three other times I showed up thinking everything was hunky dory only to be told "oh sorry, didn't someone call you?".  One time a call came the day after I'd already gone and discovered there was no stock.  Once a nice staff member helped me find a comparable product and sold it to me at the price point I'd ordered at, but it was a one time thing and he probably got his ass chewed.  The staff is always very apologetic, explaining their website is maintained by a third party and promising to advise the owner "again" about the website's inaccuracy.  Evidently it's a well known issue.  But from reading comments here about the owner's attitude and substandard concern for her business practices, I'm not hopeful.  At best their third party web service sucks and should be replaced.  At worst it's bait and switch where the owner hopes to get you to buy a product more profitable to them, because you're already there. Either way, it's a poor way to run a business that depends on inventory avsilability.  If you can't maintain the accuracy of your website, don't have online ordering.  The only good things I have to say about Alternatives is the staff is nice and they're open Sunday.  Other than that, they don't have anything to offer that their competitors don't.  Their prices are nothing special and their website is completely unreliable.  There are plenty of other dispensaries in SR.

Placed order online when they opened this morning and paid so I could simply pick it up. There were two lines outside when I arrived. One for people who ordered online and one for people who wanted to purchase but did not order in advance. The line for those who did not purchase in advance is moving fast. I've been in this line for an hour and still have not been able to pick up my prepaid order. People who got in line that did not order in advance have placed an order, paid, and have left. I'm still here.When I finally got to the front of the line my order was incorrect. There are a lot of options out there - I recommend somewhere else.

Love this place! I live in Rohnert park and I chose alternatives as my go to pick up! All the staff are super friendly!

Best place to get in and out without a long conversation I don't want to have with my budtender. It's been my go to for the three years I've been in Cali. Take a visit. Bring the family.

Normally this is the spot to go to. But tonight i definitely will not walk back into alternatives. I was kicked out for sticking up for a customer a supervisor kept harassing.  She walked up to him 3x screaming at weather if he did or did not do what she said he was doing as a supervisor she should of pulled the customer aside and directed the conversation with him. Instead she screamed at him 2x in the parking lot and then as soon as there was a line behind him she came back up and was trying to force him to use her hand sanitizer as he asked her if it was organic she denied him services.  I just politely told her to quit harassing him because it was on my nerves already. To be honest it was a racial thing he was black and she accused him of peeing in the parking lot because he was standing by a fence. Even if he was peeing he wasn't shaking his private part towards her ect she just took it to far. As other customers got involved then i got kicked out because another lady said i never seen that balck man put hand sanitizer on his hands and then Hayley the supervisor just started getting louder ect. This place has gone down hill and there where way more then 5 cutomers in the store as well and plus a line for days outside. But we stood in line for 15 minutes and just told to leave because i asked the supervisor if she was on some other type of drugs she was shaking and having a heart attack while speaking to the gentleman.  Which at no time he never was rude to her he never spoke to her in any disrespectful way Hayley deliberately embarrassed him and harassed him in the parking lot in the line and she came back from her break and kept harassing him.

Honestly used to really like coming here, it's super close to my job and they have great hours. However the last couple times I've gone have been very disappointing. Their employees have a bad attitude and they don't do much maintenance to the place it's kinda gross.

You can definitely find a better place that has a wider selection of flower, cartridges, etc. I wouldn't recommend buying plants from them either, not worth it. The salespeople are nice and young which is refreshing to have, but one particular man is disrespectful to his clients and comes off as a "know-it-all." The business itself is growing which I can see but once you have gone to another spot in town, you most likely won't stop by Alternatives as much, imo...

Really disappointing customer service, lack of product knowledge by some employees, and price increases recently. Gonna check somewhere else out for a while

They RARELY have the stock listed on their website.  I have ordered online 7 times and EACH and EVERY time they've called me to tell me they were out of something.  When it happened this morning at 9:15, I wasn't surprised. They are unwilling to work with clients to come up with a reasonable alternative.  Today they offered to "substitute" a product with 10% less potency.  I cancelled my order.  They need to vastly improve the real-time accuracy of their website, which their representative revealed is maintained by a third party.  Alternatives online clients are being poorly served.  Step up into the 21st century.  If you can't have a mostly accurate product listing, what's the point of offering online ordering?

Children trying to run a business.  Sadly they have forgotten to have a sense of humor and what life is about.

You guys need to study customer service and professionalism from Organicann. Yesterday was the second time one of your guys tried to charge my card again, said he didn't actually charge me yet despite the fact that he watched me sign the receipt. And today was the third consecutive day the guy with the bowl cut gave me attitude for seemingly no reason. Is this going to happen every time? Cmon what the hell is happening with you guys. Seriously bowl cut guy, take a Midol. I've been coming here for years. Do you not appreciate that I choose to shop at your store. We're actually rooting for you over Organicann simply because you guys are barely two minutes closer to us. I vouch for the blonde female to be supervisor. Please bring back my dispensary.

Nate hooked me up during rush hour. He recommended me these yummy gummies that totally got the job done. Alternatives feels more neighborhood and less weed warehouse, I prefer it more than the other local dispensaries. I wish they had more ppl on shift though. I've turned around and left when I thought the line was too long.

Absolutely the worst dispensary i've ever been to. They have no integrity when dealing with customers, They sold me vinegar smelling bammer weed and when i returned 30 minutes later this 20 year old kid told me  "I should contact the vendor ". SERVICE HERE IS BAD. im only going to "THE HOOK" in North santa rosa from now on.

Super disappointed I called ahead asking about cbd pens I spoke with someone on the phone they said they had a 30-1 or an 18-1 for 37.00$ so I drove across town to make it happen and when I got there they were super unhelpful and said that nobody had spoken with me on the phone then proceed to say we don't have any cbd pens except the disposable ones . So needless to say I probably won't be going back I'm pretty bent over the situation I just wanted my cbd pen

I love this place , great prices great people , except one guy named Nathan t. He's super rude and rushes you and my situation was that I asked him about a deal and he said yes incorrectly then blames it on "if you didn't ask every thc level there is there wouldn't have been confusion." So yea. Very very disrespectful I hope he gets fired.

If you buy a product that does not work, do not expect this business to give you a refund! Some of the employees that work here do not know the rules for customer satisfaction, and it clearly shows!So if you buy a product for $100 dollars, then when you open the package at home and find that it does not work, you decide to go back to this business to get a refund( As any normal business would) and they do not want to give you a refund, you can understand why some folks might be pissed!Also, what is up with the almost half gram on the gram cartridges? I bought a gram cartridge, and it only had 750 mg in it? It is either the vendors ripping you guys off, and we the customer have to suffer for it; or it is probably some of the employees secretly taking hits off of the cartridges on the low somewhere in the back hiding. This business expresses questionable business ethics.

Small facility with a great variety and easy in and out parking.  I had some questions about medical cannabis and Amanda, the sales associate I spoke with, was extremely informative in guiding me to use the best product for my health situation.

I want everyone to know that this place now charges sales tax on their medicine. For those of us on fixed incomes this is the difference between eating for a couple days or suffering from debilitating chronic pain.

I buy CBD Tincture without THC in the product, I don't want the high, I need it for hip pain. Previously went to Mercy Wellness and had to find a different place because their service left a lot to be desired, parking is a pain, have to jump through hoops, receptionist was rude. At the time I knew nothing about CBDs, needed information and it was like pulling teeth, no time for the customer, etc. This place I have only visited once, too far for me but now I deal with them over the phone to place an order. They deliver to my house, courteous, prompt. Sometimes they are out of product but hey, that's life. Order ahead of time to give yourself sufficient time to get what you need in case they are out so you don't have to bitch and moan. Yes, there is high tax on products, it will get better, blame it on the government.

I love the staff here. Very accommodating with suggestions (if asked), which is helpful when trying to learn about all the new products available.  Delivery service is available which is great too because I do not have anything like this in my town.  Highly recommend!

On-site staff budtenders are all seemingly on point with experience and knowledge of the medical cannabis industry. Delivery service is also awesome!

I don't know how clean their flowers carts or edibles are but I bought six zkittles clones... They had root aphids. It is So disgusting . I would advise never ever ingesting anything coming out of this establishment.  Thanks a lot for this disgusting and expensive headache guys ...

If you enjoy a more personal experience when buying your medicine, this is the place to go.  I've only ever seen two employees working, and one is the owner, which tends the buds.  This is actually incredibly cool as the guy can answer pretty much anything you want to know about anything in the store and then some.  Haven't tried any of the flowers here, but did sample some of the concentrates.  Not the largest selection, but the ones I tried were good.  Everything is on commission so what sells is what stays.  I should check this place out again sometime.

Today was my first time in the club, the guy showed me what was what and gave me a free pre-rolled joint.  I also received a free sample of 4 Love Oil when I asked about it.  After smelling most of the jars of flower I settled on a gram Dutch Treat. I spent $15 and got 3 products and left a happy customer. The Dutch Treat is great

The last few times I've been in, things have improved greatly. Several of the "new" people have been there a while now, and the quality of service has improved on so many levels. I still use Sonoma Medicinal Herbs for my cannabis treatments. Their edibles and high CBD products are unmatched in quality.

Love this club! The people are so friendly and the medicine is top quality. Pre rolls are my personal favorite and the ones they roll are fatties!! Hands down best club in town

Don't really write reviews but this place has gone down the drain. Today will probable be the last time I go. The prices have gone up and when you paid cash you use to not get taxed. I went to purchase some shatter and notice 90% of the stock was buttered up. There excuse was the temperature gets high in there instead of buying a wine fridge. Step your game up.

I've been going to Alternatives since they opened every time I'm in the bay area. I don't know why there would be any 1 star reviews, the quality of their MJ is consistently great. Always enjoy going there. If a cartridge breaks, they always replace it. Special shout out to the bud tenders who have never steered me wrong. Best CBD selection anywhere.

With other options like organicann or redwood herbal alliance, I can tell you coming to alternatives is a waste of money. You can find the same quality (and better) for 25 an eighth other places, but here they'll charge you 35-60. The quality weed for those prices is a rip off when you can get three times as much better quality somewhere else. I give them one star because the staff is amazing and I would give another star for the edibles, (they have a decent selection) but you can find them anywhere else for the same priceDefinitely go somewhere else if you want hash or concentrates. They also have a points system but the way they work it is not even worth spending money there to rack up points. If your looking to save money, look into other dispensaries!

They have a great selection of flower and cartridges.  The women that work there are so helpful and friendly.  I always stop when I am in town.

Alternatives has the finest cannabis in California. The customers service is amazing and the prices the best in Santa Rosa. I love Alternatives! I've been going here exclusively for almost 2 years. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable, they have a great selection of flowers, wax, edibles, clones and more products. Even the inside of the building has a cool vibe with an area to sit and read and they have a neat little library where you can take a book or two to read if you'd like to. I highly recommend Alternatives for all of your maijusnna medicinal needs!

I am now writing this while there is four minutes left to this store being open. I have never written a review before but for this I will. It says open till 7 and nowhere does it say anything regarding an exception for new patients. I was not allowed in because I did not arrive within half an hour of closing as a new patient. Therefore wasting over 20 minutes driving to the dispensary, which I tried explaining to them, they didn't care much. Thoroughly disappointed, and also they then closed a whole five minutes early, and saw this guy get locked out, someone who was a patient. I was just looking for a quick edible and decided to help the guy out with my personal stash, cause this business obviously doesn't keep to its word.

Have always had a good experience here, knowledgeable staff, good product and nice community concern. There are plenty of new items available with reasonable and affordable prices. I have enjoyed the various celebrations put on for the benefit of the patient. Very patient friendly .

I came here when I was visiting the Russian River Brewery because it was a couple of miles away. When I got there I couldn't find the door at first but some people showed me the right door. I went in and filled out a quick form and was admitted right away. There was no wait or lines so that made me happy. Prices are reasonable. Pretty average so I couldn't complain. Also, you get a free gift for being a first time patient. That's awesome because a lot of clubs stopped doing things like that. I would say I had a good experience at this collective and if I am ever in the ate again,  I will probably visit.

This is the third time I've written a review for this place. The last two were removed. Idk why? So I'll keep this short and simple.1. Price vs quality doesn't match2. Staff seems very inexperienced. 3. Location is in a dangerous part of Santa Rosa and they have no outside surveillance assuring you safety walking to your car.4. Only place I've seen that didn't ask for verification. Mine was expired and he just let me in. 5. This place needs help. I don't know who is managing but they are doing a poor job. I used to like this place. Unfortunately I have to give this place 1 star as they had disappointed me severely in service and safety. I'm not asking for security( which is non existent here) just better surveillance. The location is a little scary. I really hope this review goes through. One thing that disturbed me was the fact that the person checking people in was rolling joints in the waiting area. I really think this place is getting away with a lot considering how strict state regulations are. They seem to be asking to get raided.

My friend referred me here, nice friendly people got a pre-roll for it being my first time there and my friend got one for referring me. Good choices, next time I'll have someone go over everything so I don't seem like a deer in the headlights. Nice and local come support!

Tried out their new delivery option it turned to be really easy!! Expected a limited selection but everything they offer in the store is also available, way to keep it 100! Like all delivery i waited little but they showed up earlier than the window given so i appreciated that. Thanks for free product hookup too, was like new patient all over again!

Every Alternatives staff member is knowledgeable, personable, polite and helpful! From the front desk to the "Budtender" I am in good hands. It's not just me, I've observed the staff with many customers and am so impressed with their friendly- professionalism.I have chronic pain, depression and anxiety; the staff makes perfect recommendations with all the available products. Clean store, friendly staff, great selections. A+

I've stopped by Alternatives a few times over the last few years. Each time I've been impressed. In between, I've been impressed by their continued activism and outreach for patient access. Today I was helped by Liz, who was very patient and knowledgeable while I perused a hundred different things. My pops and I both got first timer prerolls (even though technically I wasn't) which I generously coated with residue from the Ghost Train Haze concentrate we purchased. Trainwreck flavor all day. I didn't try any flowers this time but the terpene profiles on a lot of the strains were on point.I'd love to see residual solvent analyses on the concentrates and more full melts, but you really don't see those most places yet so its okay for now in my opinion.

I was really impressed with this place. They have a nice display and selection of tasty treats, sparkly buds that seem quite perfect, some lotions/creams, and wonderful clones! The clone that I bought from here had an established  root system and will def live. I also thought that the interior design was clean and welcoming.

Very nice service. Was visiting from out of town and needed medicine. Edibles slightly overpriced but still good selection. Gave a sample for registering as new patient! Definitely will return!

Very wonderful medicine & staff. They always have fresh edible samples! They even offer a 30 min free massages to all patients on Tues & Wednesdays. Jim gives the massages & is absolutely amazing with his hands! My back felt so relaxed & free of all pain after the massage! I cannot wait for next weeks session! The medical staff is so nice & positive whenever I visit. I Love the edibles they have too. The candies are my fave!

This place was AMAZING. We were greeted by one of the staff before we even entered the building--the energy there is great. Not only do they have a great selection of flowers with samples, their extensive edible selection will have you taking your time to decide.You also won't feel rushed, because they allow more than just one person at a time... A big plus was there was a bathroom :D (lol)The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, making this a regular stop for me.I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dispensary.

Alternatives Health Collective blew me away. From meeting the manager at the front desk, to our great conversation, to ALL of the staff members who took it upon themselves to help me out and comment and give advice while I was looking at the meds, lol(though a little weird and nerve wrecking, considering my nerves, its 10000% better than trying to get a considerate response from some chick behind a glass window staring at her iphone.) They had a decent amount of buds to display. I was looking for an indica, and I think they had about 6 to display including the hybrids...not bad at all...It was all pretty fire. HOLY SHIT they have most beautiful edibles. and like bath stuff too. Some people on weedmaps were hating on the area because its on the "slighly more less rich" part of town and there are a lot of mixed/dark people. I bet a lot of those folk are gonna be nicer than the ones youll find in any rich suburb....people really just don't know....the area is safe, nice and besides the traffic noise, quiet.

5 stars to Alternatives! On our first trip there, we knew we didn't need to go anywhere else. The staff and the atmosphere is super cool and laid back. We attended the grow class and we can't tell you how pleased we were with the amount of knowledge we inquired. Nick is a grow genius! Any and all questions that were asked, he had an educated experienced answer. I highly recommend them for your alternative needs!

Good covid precautions and great menu selection as well as deals sat & sun!  It was a warm and friendly environment.

A very good hidden dispensary !!!! My Budtender Maria was extremely helpful, nice, and attentive even though there was a lot of traffic. Definitely coming back here

Placed an order online. They managed to charge me for an item that they were out of stock on. They tried to correct it (after I was the only one who caught it), but they still managed to screw it up. Took 3 days to get a hold of someone. My options were a credit on my account (why would I shop here when your inventory system is right about 70% of the time?) or to come down for my refund (so I have to complete 99% of the effort to collect my money from them, when they screwed up). So in the end, thanks for nothing.Your double verification system seems to have holes in it still, not to mention your online inventory. Might need someone to triple check who is a little more clear headed while on the clock.

Love this place! It's my go to dispensery, just got a great deal on a cartridge plus they got a rewards thing so every time I come in I get money off my purchases!!:)

Dispensary closes before hours posted, heads up to potential customers. Seen this happen a few times. Showed up at 8:50pm on Friday Sept 24 2021 (closing time is 9). Door locked. Other people by the door confused as well. Was going here for 6 years. There's enough other dispensaries in Santa Rosa that follow their listed hours. Will not come back.

I utilize Alternatives for both in store purchases as well as delivery. I have to say they always have great prices and helpful when they are out of an item; to give an awesome replacement. Staff in store super friendly and helpful! The delivery guys are always superb! Highly recommend!

Ive always come to Alternatives and it's always the same story , lines are always long , bud tenders are slow , people don't know what they want , but lately I've noticed that staff is incompetent. They change the prices without you knowing especially if said item becomes popular, deals are pointless 4/20 was horrible. The other day I walked in and I saw  5 bud tenders all 5 were talking and laughing only 1 was working registers I would recommend you go to Mercy or Flora Terra they will take care of you much better and they are more professional.

This is my local dispensary and I have long wanted to support their new business. After countless times waiting in unnecessary lines - I propose this business has 2 lines: one for people with questions and one for people who know what they want. Also the new debit system SUCKS and needs to go right away. Why can't I use my credit card if this is a legitimate business?This place won't last once competition arises

Not sure why the dude with the Cop-Cut  was a complete asshat? But young people must not care? Customer service should allow for no attitude laden rudeness... It's Weed not the meaning of Life. Maybe you should allow staff to medicate before work?

So much better.. after not going for 2+ years I went back to give them another chance... Kinda had a bad experience with one of the bud tenders but they have gotten it together now . Best and biggest gram of dab for a killer price.. they went from one star to five.. 👍😁

100% best game in town. Especially for edibles! Always a chill experience without the hospital feel you get from some dispensaries. Open late and they are genuinely always happy to help you! The staff are very warm and knowledgeable about their products. They will help you find what you are looking for to achieve the state of mind you desire. A little tricky to find the street so remember: It is directly across the street from the Dulceria and if you hit the dollar tree heading East (away from Stony Point Road) you’ve gone too far. Then, the big metal giraffe is the landmark to the find the building on the street itself, but basically, just follow the crowd.
