This is the worst shop in Denver. They make up arbitrary rules to make it more difficult. I had back surgery 7 weeks ago and had a friend drive me. They would not honor my license. I had been going there for three years. They always took my license before. This time they would not because I cut the blank edges of the paper off. As you know the edges are not printed on. With the 1" of blank paper trimmed off, some how this made my license invalid. This place needs to go out of business. It looks they are on there way. Not a car in the parking lot. I see why! They forever lost my business. Please Don't patronize them, for your own piece of mind. Every other places accepted it with no problem.
Disappointing location, closes earlier than posted. I arrived after work at 9:44 only to be greeted by a security guard rushing to lock the door before I could open it. Hours are posted as closing at 9:50 and dispensary law in Denver states that no transactions may be completed after 9:59 PM; so why is this location closing early? Pretty unfortunate that I drove so far only to be locked out because staff doesn't feel like following their own hours! I'll update this review when The Health Center remedies this situation. Im a chill person but its extremely frustrating to rush over somewhere and have them lock up early right in front of you! I get that you're tired and it's late but you chose this job. I really wanted to leave a good review about the service and marijuana. All I can leave for now is negative feedback regarding the staff/posted hours.
Came from California and it turns out they don't accept vertical ID's. Dispensary is wack.

Go up the road to The Clinic instead and have a 5 star experience. Wide selection of brands and products but the employees are not knowledgeable at THC. I frequently have them say "we don't carry that" or "that company doesn't make that" when I had bought the product like a week prior. Last week one of the employees snapped back at me because I interrupted him when he was telling me directions to another dispensary and I said "we'll just google it" and under his breath he says "ok well I was just trying to be helpful". Like, ok the polite thing would have been to let him finish talking but I am the customer and that's just a lack of common sense customer service on his part. We've been here dozens of times and this is the last.
I spend about 3 to 4 hundred a week here and as well the other location. Management is kinda messed up. The do not care about their customers. Wishy washy on price. They're my medical care center and twist the price all the time.... up and down. Makes no sense to me a medical patient, and they have my plant count.... good growers can get a quarter pound or more per plant on crop. Why are my prices being messed with? You already make money off of me? Then I spend quite a bit money here on top of it. Weed quality has gone down major. Weed is either real wet or all dried up all the time. It is about money here not what is being sold. Annoying that I have to find another dispensary. I have shopped here for a little over 3 yrs.........
Popped open the quarter container, overwhelming smell of pesticides....buds dry and hard as a rock. Got halfway through the joint until I felt sick then threw it all out. It's terrible a dispensary would allow this type of product to fly off the shelf, and on med side nonetheless.
Ordered the Wana 1:1 20/20 gummies at the shop last week. Unfortunately, the package looks exactly the same as the regular 20mg THC gummies. Didn't realize this till we got home, and opened the bag. Called, and explained I didn't get the dosage I wanted, and since shops can't take returns, they invited me back - & MORE than made it right when I returned. There was a bit of confusion over how it happened- but they truly wanted me to be satisfied. And I am. Great attitudes!
I've never had such grief visiting a dispensary before in my life. The University location had a great staff (bud tender wise) and were very helpful. I'd give them five stars for being extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. The Northern Haze and Ultra Sonja was an amazing recommendation. However, the owners of this location may want to put their security guard in check. Not sure who was on shift last night (1/8/19 around 6PM) but that EMPLOYEE is severely rude. My fiance tried to ask him if it was okay to sit in with me while I shopped. (He'd already purchased a gram that day and wanted to show me this kick ass deal after I'd gotten off work)The security guard looked at my fiance, gave him the most exaggerated "I don't care look" and said "Dude, I don't know what you saying, just let me see your ID" Why the attitude? Trying to be big and bad because you feel tiny? I don't care if you're a security guard. You're the face of the company in that moment. You should be welcoming and not make people feel like idiots for ensuring they are following proper protocols. He scanned my fiance's ID and then said, "WOAH, you were already here today." Obviously dude, which is what we were trying to ask. He handed -- no dropped my fiance's ID in front of him, pointed at him and said "DO NOT talk to her about marijuana or I can't sell to her." I get their rules. Not complaining about them at all. But there are ways to go about it. We're not in jail dude, chill your wanna be cop notch down a bit. The fact that this environment was so unwelcoming is a shame. I would've given it this place 5 stars if not for that rude employee. I would've complained then and there, but he seems like the type that would abuse his power and usher us out the door. Most likely. So I have to be a keyboard warrior today.I will not be bringing my business there again unfortunately. You can find good bud anywhere these days, so no loss for me. I did manage to take advantage of their $4 gram sale though. I hope everyone else has a great experience here. High props for their well educated bud tenders. They know exactly what you need.Update: 2/7/19 Recently, I discovered that a friend of mine tried to make a stop here. The same hostile security guard apparently works there. Obviously this place commends power hungry abusers to evoke fear into their customers. How glorious :D
Great place, good location, good meds, nice staff, killer deals, very knowledgeable and by far one of the best dispensaries in denver
Not that great. They only stock on B-grade strains. I did have a few good experiences as they are friendly. But, my last visit was lackluster. The product I got was very average at best. Overall, this store is lame.

Alright before you judge me I want to be very clear I don't use drugs other than alcohol. This is a good Catholic boy who doesn't break rules that are a misdemeanor and up. I couldn't say that until about 10 years ago. I was in CO (where I grew up) and had to see the changes since I've been gone. I wanted to witness the booming biz of cannabis and see exactly how this thing is working out. So while I was next door at Potbelly's for lunch we took a walk over to check this place out. First of all I don't understand the shitty reviews of this place. Seemed very well organized and the staff were very helpful. I had of course a ton of questions from regulations to how the hell do they create different kinds of variations. Anyways, good luck to this place and all the other dispensaries, my guess is the whole country is watching to see how it turns out.
Amazing staff! I highly recommend Noel or Zach. Overall, everybody is friendly and selection is great. I cannot comment on quality of product, but prices are above average compared to nearby dispensaries. Parking can be challenging, but I recommend overall.
This is a revised review as after my first few visits I was smitten but after a year I have a more sobering one to provide. They should rename this place "We're Outta That". I hear that every single time I go in. When I went at first things were in stock, then slowly I began to notice I was hearing "We're Outta That." more and more frequently. They used to carry these large edible oatmeal cookies but because "we don't have a big fridge" they stopped. The parking lot can be atrocious, especially the back area. They post signs all over the place telling you not to park next door but no one listens and I've never seen anyone get towed. People don't care how they park, you can be squeezed into a spot by someone and not be able to get yourself out until they come and leave. Backing up on to Colorado Blvd isn't as bad as it could be but still watch yourself.The product itself is OK. You will notice the quality difference when you go to another place. There's always a $89 ounce special, so if you're cost conscious this is the place to go. Just be prepared to have your choices scaled down dramatically once you get up there. You'll look at a list and then they'll merrily cross off ones no longer in stock. What you're left with at times is a single choice and not one you wanted in the first place. Everything is pre-packaged and sometimes ok and other times not so much. They do let you combine 1/8 and 1/4 to mix and match but again if you hit those times where they're low you're kinda screwed. They won't let you add grams to the ounce special even if they're out of stock on the 1/8 and 1/4 options. Again, if you're on a budget this could work but it's not the best flower I've purchased. They push their concentrates and seem to have ample supply of that, the edibles are there but not plentiful and if you're looking for anything refrigerated I would move on. They do sell open vape and their own distillate cartridges. The staff for the most part is friendly, a few can be a bit short and uninterested. They take debit cards, that's a plus. They have a rebate program but I'm usually offered redemption on things I'm not buying. Also tired of hearing about how they have things on the rec side if they're out on the med. Like other dispensaries I've visited, the med side is somewhat of an after thought while they overload on the rec. Oh and they have some of the worst pre-rolls I've ever purchased. They don't burn well at all. Overall if you like cheap flower and don't care about what you're smoking you can do well here as pricing wise it's a tough place to beat. If you get something you like, be prepared to not see it again for awhile. With my wife running through flower like it's going out of style my choices are somewhat limited so I'll be hitting WOT again in the future.
I like them ... friendly staff sometimes you get someone not so interested but that's everywhere sometimes their stuff is super dry due to prepackaged goods although it's better than getting your weed in a ziplock from a dispo, not mentioning any names. Most of the time it's fresh product so dryness usually isn't a problem. Their deals are great. If you are looking for a touristy spot go somewhere else where the people are even more uninterested if you want quality bud and a good price got to the health center
DONT SHOP HERE. Live resin here is made from stepped on buds and buds that are pulled from moldy hydroponic water. They spray weed with pesticides up to and on the day it is picked. They grow as much cheap low quality hydro weed as fast and much as they can and it's constantly sprayed with pesticides again, up to the day it's picked.
Really annoying how they have an order ahead system to keep wait times down then they make you wait in line during a virus pandemic regardless if you ordered ahead. Now I'm not one to call people out on stupid moves (but I love calling out companies), but I've been coming here for 4 years, and I don't think I'm going to after this recklessness. This is how you spread germs and get people sick, smfh.
I advise against anyone from spending their hard earned money here. The security guard in particular is why I will never return. Completely rude! I could throw a baseball from my house and hit this shop but I'd rather drive to breck before ever shopping here again!
Came in today to do my bi-monthly buy. Ended up spending $230 for 1oz of flower and 6g of concentrates. In addition to a new pipe and a bowl for my bong. In all it would easily be $600-800 worth in my home state at my favorite dispensary.I was a very satisfied customer and happy I moved to Colorado. In addition the wondeful lady who helped my Girlfriend and I this morning gave a suggestion I had to pass forward. She shared the effects of the HEAD BANGER Sugar Wax strain and boy her description was superbly accurate. It's rare I can take someone for their word with a strain but with this it holds true. Your hands doo tingle ha ha. Thank you The Health Center. For someone who suffers from daily nerve pain, damage, and tumor growth it's nice to get some true relief and be able to continue my passions in life!

I used to love this place. Great flower, Great prices, but then they virtually stopped carrying medical flower. why? Well when you ask, you get the same " I don't know" from the employees.I love your product, but if I cant get it, I will be forced to take my business elsewhere.
This location used to be amazing and I loved going there to buy flower. Recently their services over the phone are no longer friendly nor professional. When I have gone in person lately, there are some budtenders who are rude and pressure you into making your selections, and provide you with something you did not ask for. It seems that their goal is to get you to push you out the door as soon as possible in a rude manner. It is a shame that the vibes have changed there, because THC has so many great products and quality to offer. Hopefully this location can look into the quality that their employees are truly giving their customers.
The flower there has been the best I have found in Denver! Can you guys please grow more of the Pineapple Fields strain, it is amazing and one of the best sativa's I have seen in CO!
The Health Center is my go - to recreational spot. The staff is great and super knowledgeable. They'll answer any and all questions you could have. The environment is super cozy and the lines never that long if at all. They only charge 21% tax which is a lot better than the 36% I saw at a different location. Their selection isn't huge but it is good and they're not salesman that just want you to buy something to get rid of it. They're there to help your needs! They're your own personal shopper and they always make you feel welcome and comfortable when your there. I highly recommend them if your looking for some legal pot.
Ok.best bud ever.great deals.but service is hot and cold.sometimes super nice,sometimes i dont know if they want business.the exit bag is also annoying.if you dont bring one,they charge you 2 dollars for a new one while many other dispensaries never pull that.overall.very worth going to.
More bad experiences here than any other cannabis store in the world. The last time my girlfriend and I agreed it was the worst experience in any store we had ever had. We walk in, the doors open (violation) after inside we start to look around, we just wanted some concentrates and edibles (I came here early on 420 and they were out of wax, on the day ever dispensary stocks way up for?) the guy at counter showed us a tray of wax containers, and mentioned that nothing they currently had was even on display on the tray? he then handed us a menu, like the ones you get when you're ordering cheap sushi and you don't know what you're going to get. Same feeling, because he then informed us again that we basically couldn't see any of the wax that we were going to buy until we were out of the store with it. As he laughed, this made us both quite uncomfortable, because the other dispensaries we go to actually have a system, that works. At this time some employee started to use an electric screw gun to over torque some screws into a new wall panel for behind the counter. Our bud tender (long brown hair, awkward) just laughed at said sorry. I'm not sure if you understand what a screw gun sounds like when you're just sitting on the torque limit, not even moving the screw, just making that ridiculous loud noise so our bud tender had to scream and we still couldn't hear him. Between screws I told them both that this is supposed to be a medical facility and this type of construction work going on during store hours was completely unacceptable and giving me a head ache. We would have already left but you guys use such a stupid process of having the bud tender write down each product you want on a piece of paper, we got 6 different things, so were sitting there listening to construction work while he writes down each specific strains, just to hand it to the other guy at the cash register so he could attempt to read it and take more time to find it. I have never seen any dispensary ran like this. I don't want to tell you how to run your business, for that you'd have to pay for my consultation, but I'm telling you, the only reason you're in business is because your location. This was the worst dispensary visit I could ever imagine and I hope you guys get it together. My girlfriend is concerned, where was the manager? Which is a valid question. My concern is: Where were any your your employees common sense?
Been coming here since it opened and was only medical. Great selection and service plus they have really good specials most days. They also allow returns for pretty much everything. Definitely worth checking out.
Hidden fees. they have some bullshit with an ATM charge even though it's a business where they charge you money to buy stuff and then they don't reimburse you for the AT&T. The cost is $48 they charge you 52 $4 ATM fee. The whole reason I went to this place was to avoid an ATM fee from the cash only place I like I would go somewhere else
Not a bad deal but they never have any sugar wax in stock... tons of shatter but more times than not they don't have any sugar wax. I've tried this location and their main location and had to leave without anything. I recommend you call ahead of time to see if they even have it in stock.
This place is great, they by far have some of the best prices you'll find in the Denver metro area. Save yourself some time and let me do all the work for you ( because I've done the work) and Let me tell you this place is the best. I've had some customer service issues that have needed to be addressed in the past and they always treat me fair and make sure I'm leaving happy. They have amazing live resin products for very competitive prices and the quality is top notch for sure. Love this place.
So strange you send out a text that says come in for a ounce out the door and you don't adhere to your coupon... looks as if I should change my caregivership.. wow not a satisfied patient.. at least change your text so you don't have me drive all the way here for nothing
I'm not understanding these bad reviews. Quality control is tight - they grow 100% of their own and we've NEVER been disappointed! Pruning is excellent and always substantial trichome coverage.Thursday's, 3 cones (pre-rolled) for $20 and these fatties are nothing short of a gram. The usual price is $10-12 EACH elsewhere and you're lucky if there's 3/4gr at best. Taking into consideration that "using on the job" is not frowned upon at these establishments, I'm not expecting much in the way of service. Just recommendations. And these people know or know how to find the answers you're needing. I really love the variety of tinctures, edibles, flower, shatter, waxes...etc. It's so far my favorite, I'm definitely a loyal customer!
I'd like to think I caught these guys on somewhat on an "off-day". I may have liked the place in some form... if I had even gotten past the front door.Came by a few months back to try and get a little something for the weekend. I walked up to the door, to be greeted by a security guard/employee who just said "we're too full, you can't come in". No "sorry", no "try again in 5", nothing. I did see a decent crowd inside, so I bet they were at capacity or something. Whatever, I had an errand to run a few blocks away, it was a nice day, so I killed 45 minutes of the day and came back.Walked back to the door, tried the handle: nothing, door was locked. Thinking I maybe turned it the wrong way (perhaps a sticky door or something), I tried again. A voice emanated from within that simply yelled "The door is OBVIOUSLY locked, you can't come in". Oh. OH! I didn't realize that posted business hours didn't matter to your business in particular. I checked my phone real quick, seeing if I missing something. Let's see, Saturday, early, afternoon at 2pm... your various sites claim open until much later than that.Here's a good lesson on basic customer service: treat your customers, even potential ones like they are the only ones that matter. You could have the best product of anything anywhere, and fail if you don't give customers the attention they deserve. If something comes up, apologize and give a simple statement. "I'm really sorry, but we're at legal capacity, and I cannot let you in the building right now. Hang out for a bit, wait for the rush to die down, and we'll get you taken care of". Or try "I apologize, but we're having technical issues right now with our system, and we had to close for the day". If someone here had spent even 5 seconds talking to me, I'd have come back and not be writing this review.Sucks honestly, as I live pretty close by and wanted a dispensary within walking distance I could zip down to whenever. Oh well. With the rising-plethora of dispensaries around that actually know what customer service is, I feel like I missed out on nothing at all in the end.
I'm giving this spot 5 stars because I have always had a good experience there, always felt safe going in, I feel the prices are fair/comperable to other dispensaries I have been to, and every employee I have interacted with has been very friendly and helpful. Can you guys believe we're f***ing reviewing marijuana dispensaries online right now? It's a small shop, nice atmosphere, with knowledgable staff. They have a loyalty card, buy 5 times, get a free gram, and usually have a decent sale going on with one of their products. Check it out.

Good, not great. Pros:-They offer fantastic daily specials, along with some random sales that provide a lot of value. For example, yesterday they had 4g shatter for $55. Last weekend they had a mix and max ounce for around $120 out the door. They are tough to beat on value with these sales; you're getting decent product relative to the sale price.-Friendly, helpful staff-Their non-sale prices are competitive.Cons:-I've smoked 5 of the 8 strains in my mix and max ounce. The aftertaste is AWFUL...I don't know what it is but they all have it. Not even one strain tasted average or mediocre. Just shockingly and noticeably bad. -You have to have an exit bag. If they got rid of their current packaging (where you can see the product, which requires the exit bag by law), and changed it to a pill bottle where you couldn't see inside, etc, you wouldn't need one. That irritates me.Neutral:-Potency is middle of the road. Relative to price there's not much to gripe about, esp when on sale.Verdict: Treat this product like the second or third bottle of wine at a dinner party. You don't want to smoke it for your first bowl or vape of the day, or you'll be very disappointed. But if you break this out later into the night, after many bowls have already been passed around, it's good enough, and at a low enough price point to have on your bench and feel good about the value you've gotten. I think they are worth a look during their big sales.

What happened? This was one of my favorites but lately they are becoming the worst. Do NOT make this dispensary your caregiver, there's basically no discounts for this and they are always OUT OF STOCK. They never have shatter for medical but rec is always stock up, then you can only buy 8g from rec instead of a full oz. I guess they only care about making money and not there patients.
This is the place..the products are great, they have the sticky icky you flew so many miles to ingest.The good part is the price is fair, especially if you hit them up on the right days to get those good deals on the things you want..if theres a line, its worth waiting,theres lines at lots of places.The flower from here will make your friends ask you where you got that ish?!?because they want some too & that was how selling herb worked before you where born kids!
The only reason why I chose four stars instead of 5 is how I've been mislead in pricing before. I visited Saturday, the 28th, and was told all chocolate bars cost the same. I thought that was odd knowing that Coda bars are usually more expensive than IncrEdibles, and quite frankly, are worth more bc of how great they are. So I bought 3 bars. Apparently they were running a bogo deal that day Daveka failed to mention. I chose this establishment, as a medical member, to make my caregiver. 90% great staff and awesome perks for medical patients. But I don't enjoy being misinformed by my budtender. Bummer :( Daveka was also the only budtender with no personality. I found myself talking to the other tenders more than the person helping me. What's done is done, but it left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth.

The place is ok.. prices are good for the quality of weed you get. Sold out of their best stain all the time. Their 4g of wax for $55 is a scam. Only offer a couple products in that deal.After tax and the atm fee I ended up paying a little over $80. If your paycheck hasn't hit and you need a quick fix this is the place for you. This is 8 months later. I stopped going to this dispensary bc the weed was making me feel very sick. Don't recommend to anyone. As soon as I switched dispos I've felt a million times better. Please don't get sucked in here for the prices as the additives will make you sick.
Idk what happened the last batch of wax I bought was very disappointing. They all taste very bland, they look ok but full on pretendica.... the last few time I purchased those waxes they have been gross almost tasting like mushroom mold and sulphur... what happened? I will not be back to but anymore any refunds available?
We came here on a Sunday afternoon and I'm so glad we did. We were asked for our ID's when we entered. After showing him, we were then let in. The store itself is pretty small. Hubby started talking to one guy behind the counter and I was talking to the lady behind the counter. She was very helpful and patient with me. She showed me the edibles that met my needs and explained the deals. She checked me out and that was that. Hubby talked with the guy for an extensive time explaining what he wanted. He showed him some concentrates and other types of edibles. In. Out. Great service and a good amount of product. They didn't have a restroom I could use though.

I have been shopping at The Health Center since I moved here in July 2020. My girlfriend and I have spent upwards of 4-5k at this location and come here at least twice a week. I was told that my Drivers license was not valid because it is cracked and the 1/8th of an inch clear tape I have on the crack implies that my ID is no longer valid and tampered with. It is disappointing that although clearly legible and valid I was told to leave. We will not be returning to this location.
When I first moved to CO I was told by a friend to go to THC, I wanted to go check out different spots and kept telling him I would find a better deal. I eventually went to THC and I have never stopped going back 3 years later. They have the best quality and bang for your buck with their mix and match flower ounces, wax and live resin deals!
I used to love this place but the price is unreasonable for what you get. They seem to continually raise their prices, while service goes downhill. There are plenty of dispensaries in Denver and no need to pay $40/8th for average weed.
I've gone to the Uptown location for about three years now, always friendly, quick, and always reasonable. They still have their Med section together. They're willing to take suggestions for different products if there's something your looking for in the future. They have a great points program to earn credits towards products. Jawathon is always cool! Jessica, Lindsey n Sue are always sweet! Everyone is very helpful! It's a quiet-looking house 🏠 from the outside...It's the little house that could on the inside!
