Everyone at La Conte is very friendly and knowledgeable. My budtender, Alex, was able to answer all of my questions and helped me select products that best fit my criteria. This is definitely my go-to dispensary.

Had a great first time buying experience at LaConte's this morning. Clones look happy and healthy. My man, Derek, was helpful and informative. This place and the people that work here made a great first impression and I hope to visit more in the future. Looking forward to putting brand new girls in the ground next month. If they live up to their potential I'll do another review, ...with 5 stars!

Great service from Emma and the whole team. Great prices, very knowledgeable, and best of all friendly. I was in stitches from start to finish for my visit. I will visit again for sure!!

This is an awesome medical and recreational marijuana store located in beautiful downtown Denver off of 7th avenue and Lincoln.There is plenty of non metered two hour parking on the side streets for those of you driving to our location. The store has Blueline Protection Group security on staff to quickly check you into the system for medical and quick ID verification for recreational customers. Ensuring an speedy entry and safe shopping experience.   Once you get inside the shop you are greeted by a very professional group of bud tenders.  They had all the answers to the questions I asked and even offered great advice on what to take for my symptoms. For a newer customer this was greatly welcomed and I felt like they truly had a passion for there job and the knowledge to match.I only planned on buying a gram of wax but after the bud tender explained the differences in potency, taste and purity I left with some great tasting shatter and a new O-pen GO-pen vaporizer to get my vape on! The medical side features a wide variety of flower to choose from and in many weights including grams, 1/8th's, Quarters , and Ounces.At the moment there is over 15 different selections of properly trimmed fluffy buds!They also have a great selection of edibles to include CBD & THC Cheeba Chews, Edipure candies and some great tasting soda style drinks.For you concentrate lovers they offer a huge selection of both wax and glass like shatter for your dabbing pleasure. They also have O-pen cartridges and sick colored O-pen batteries to choose from they also have Organalabs oil in syringes to fill your tanks or do dabs with! Looking to start your own grow? They have you covered as well.  You can get beautiful and healthy clones on both the medical and recreational side. Each clone come with a 30 day exchange policy incase something goes wrong which is awesome.If your looking to get some swag we always have fresh gear from custom T-shirts to SATIVA brand gear. They also have hat pins, magnets and stickers.Finally they have colorado blown glass pipes, water bongs and killer dab rigs. You can also pick up butane, lighters, cleaning solution from Klear and a ton other items.Defiantly stop buy and check these guys and gals out. You will not be disappointed!* all products on the recreational side are the same minus medical specific items such as Cheeba Chews,  or epic edibles treats.

A must stop for me in Denver. Great quality,service, and prices. Definitely one of my favorites. Awesomeness!

I live in the Cap Hill area and have never checked out LaConte's. After seeing them on IG with some delicious looking concentrates, I decided it was time to give them a try.Jeff and a budtender whose name I forget now (sorry man!) were super friendly when they greeted me. Quick ID check later and I was in the recreational room. I was on the hunt for solventless and LaConte's did not disappoint. Multiple types of multiple strains at very reasonable prices. Left with some tasty Ghost Hulk x Orange Cream which, quite frankly, was a top-notch product.The flower looked good, and the edibles and topicals seemed reasonably priced. Pretty standard selection of strains (from what I saw) with a couple different ones (Huckleberry something?). Will definitely be returning to try some of their other offerings.Thanks LaConte's!

The only dispensary I will go to downtown Best deals in the city and friendly employees.As always, they will treat you with patience and not rushed. Have great knowledge on all of their products. Jared and Jesse are awesome and tbh everyone else!!!!

it's unfortunate i have to leave this review since i am in the neighborhood and while i definitely don't buy weed as often as other people, this has been my go-to spot ever since they opened. but frankly, with all the weed dispensary options available in denver, i think having a good loyalty/rewards program is becoming more and more important. and with that said, i have a rewards punch card i was given when i first joined the rewards program and was due for a $1 eighth reward. but when i tried to use it several months ago, i was told i had to purchase a "top shelf" eighth in order to get the reward. which is fine but i typically don't buy the more expensive stuff so i decided to save it for another time. however, today i went in and was told the punch cards are no longer accepted at all. to be clear, the employee who helped me was polite and apologetic so i have no issue with her but just eliminating the reward that i earned is bullshit. and yeah i'm sure there's some fine print somewhere that says "lacontes reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time" but fuck that. the whole point of a rewards program is to keep your loyal customers (i think?) not eliminate their rewards just because you can. and obviously if you want to change the reward program or eliminate it altogether, that's your right but at least give the members who have been shopping there since day one a heads up. or credit my account an equivalent amount of points. or something. but if you want to set yourself apart from all the other dispensaries that also have rewards programs, stealing rewards/points isn't a good look. anyway, that's it. on to the next dispensary.

Hole in the wall dump. Lots of nicer places around town so I'd def avoid this place. I stopped in and bought two vape cartridges on a whim. Neither worked and of course you can't return for exchange or refund. I transferred what I could to new cartridges and it's definitely subpar oil. I won't be back.

I have been a patron of LaContes since they opened at this location. I work right across the street and live 2 blocks up. Every single time I have been there ( and there has been many) my experience is always as good as the last. From the knowledge of the budtenders to the genuine friendliness and Hospitality from every staff member is outstanding. They continue to get in new products and are happy to hear what you might be interested in them carrying in the future. It is definitely my neighborhood shop and I will go nowhere else. Kudos to a very professional establishment and a job very well done.

This place was the best! I chose it because it was on my way to another place and I was pleasantly surprised and got such great deals! Plus amazing CBD joints. Will be back forrrrrrr surrrrrrr

As a visitor, this was probably one of my favorite dispensaries we hit up. Everyone was friendly and were in no rush to help us - there was no "in and out" mentality there. Also I think this is the only dispensary I recall the employees being enthusiastic in answering questions.

Fire Dispensary, the location is crazy, but also in a nice spot pretty tight but parking usually is available. Always gotten good deals, great flowers and amazing service but the friendly staff at La Conte's. I've yet to become an actual regular but throughout years and years like five plus of coming here it's always had good quality buds to roll up in a blunt. The great thing is this originally was one of the few that Colorado had in Denver for Medical patients and the recreational legalization made it where the recognition goes somewhat unnoticed. Right off the street watch out for people who aren't paying attention behind the wheel, I recommend this place over many close by shops and extremely the ones in Denver. This place is underground and if you can find the right plants you'll get what you're looking for here.

I worked in the industry and can say these guys are great. Super friendly and knowledgeable, it is always a nice place to shop. The pricing is good as is the product, and they have special times you can come in and you get a pre-roll for a penny (if they still do it I think it's 4pm and 9pm) or special pricing on other products which is a nice treat! Check them out when you can!

My all-time favorite dispensary!! They have the best prices for wax that I've seen. AJ is very cool and always hooks me up. Great customer service!

La Conte's Clone Bar is awesome! We walked right in no wait, the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this dispensary if you are visiting or in the area! We will come back for sure!

Love La Conte's! I have been going there for years and it's the best. We love the deals, we love the people, and we love the selection. This is the only dispensary I ever go to. Keep up the good work, you wonderful people.

Great prices on sauce. They carry extracts from some of the top artists in town. Beats any other shops prices in town. Staff is friendly as well.

This place is very spotty.. sometimes no inventory to speak of.. like all these places, the personnel can be very nice but they change frequently.. and the electronic systems they employ are pathetic..  It's convenient to Trader Joe's, so I had been shopping there but I think I'll find someplace else.

went in a few months back. I accidentally went to the rec counter and the budtender rudely told me that I was at the wrong counter. I went to the med side and there was 1 person already being helped by 2 employees. I waited about 20 minutes and no one offered to help me. I finally left and went to another dispensary and was helped right away. I called La Contes back and spoke to a manager about their service. He told me that it was my fault that I had to wait because I went to the wrong counter.

Dumb dumbs lost a sale cause I wanted to see if my friend was interested in a certain strain. Said he wouldn't sell it to me if I'm texting someone so f you buddy.

I am a local, regular customer to this dispensary which is why it sucks to have to write a negative review, a habit I don't keep...I have had positive experiences at this store (nice dude named Alex, the budtender not the manager working there) however a couple of days ago I purchased an ounce of shake from them. I smoked it the next morning and not only was everything really off (the taste:burnt, old weed, the smell: burnt, old weed) and it made me feel not high, but ill (long time smoker).I came back the next morning in good faith to give them feedback on their product and to encourage them to stop selling it as it is not fit for consumption and is way below par for their store. I was given a free pre roll and the email of the manager. I sent an email in good faith to Alex (the manager) hoping to resolve this with some gesture towards a repeat customer on their part. Instead I was told their was nothing wrong with their product, they don't care, but that I could have 10 percent off my next purchase. I had to throw their weed in the trash and head to a nearby store to spend more money I do not have much of :) As I pointed out to Alex, I would have spent many multiples more of money at their store than they seem intent on keeping by selling me dreadful product. A truly bizarre sense of customer service. You are not short of other options in Denver, go elsewhere!

Because I live well north and west of Denver I typically hit the LaConte's Washington Street location, but a few days ago the Washington Street location had only one strain of clone in stock.  Well, the additional fifteen minute drive down to 7th was well worth it.  Four strains to choose from, and some of the sturdiest, most well established young ladies I've seen at a retail location anywhere.  And the staff was super friendly, very helpful, I will be back!

Let me preface with this: I have never purchased weed from a dispensary, let alone been in one. So, while I had a somewhat functioning idea of what I wanted or needed, I was less than prepared for this. It may be silly to say, but while you can pay using a card, you can only tip in cash - so bring cash!! Take care of your budtenders, they really are awesome!However, Green (yes, that's her name! Cool, right?) was sooo patient and helpful during this time. She was friendly from the start, and very welcoming. She took time to explain to us (bf and I), what specials they had and what she personally liked. She did not rush us at all and that made such a difference! She also didn't try to bully us into buying anything - I hateee being pressured into sales, this is totally NOT what you'll get here. The other staff that we saw briefly were also very nice and welcoming. We ended up trying a few different products, all which delivered the way she said they would. We got a little card that gets hole punched with each purchase, the first "reward" being a $1 edible. So you basically get one edible for just $1! My bf and I had decided that we would visit several dispensaries and just check them out, but after visiting here, we decided to just stick with what we knew! We plan to visit Denver again soon and we will absolutely be back here. Also, for what it's worth, the prices that I was able to check online for some other places seemed a bit high compared to here. I'm no expert, but I can be frugal. You don't compromise quality here, and that's what's important!I cannot wait to go back! Thanks Green!

I went to the North store on Washington specifically to get clones, they are carrying clones from Free World Genetics out of Boulder  which are excellent. Great selection, good service, healthy clones and although the location is a bit shaky, well worth the trip if you enjoy growing unusual strains.

New owner would not honor my loyalty gift.Prices gone up and there is always a wait.Wait in line outside in the alley...no thanks.

Love this dispensary. The girl that helped me the first day I went was very cool and knowledgeable. I love the sleep pod she recommended and the Quiq chocolates were really good. Can't wait to come back and try some more recommendations!

One of my fav dispo's hands down. Small little shop but excellent customer service & GREAT deals. Also do a variety of points systems/discounts. Only complaint would be that the wax recently has been looking a little dry and crumbly. Perfect when they have the wet/peanut butter looking wax in stock. Still solid 8/10.

The customer service here is top tier. I have never had a bad experience at this dispensary. Each of their employees have a lot of knowledge about the products they sell, and they also always show a positive and enthusiastic demeanor. They have a rewards system, which helps with discounts, and they also offer punch cards every once in awhile for discounts on certain products. The only complaint I would have is that their wax kayak buckets have been a little dry and crumbly lately. I attached a picture of the Indica wax kayak bucket so you can see how crumbly it is. It's hard to pick up and handle. They do switch the products up often though, so I'm sure it will be rotated out soon.

Been going to LaContes as a Medical MJ patient. Worked pretty well. You buy 10 candy bars get one free. Well, If you forget your MMJ card, or are a recreational purchaser of goods, their attitude changes and prices are more than double at other dispensaries. Now if you buy 10 Candy bars you get 1/10 of a candy bar free. Prices are doubled and the staff treats you like a schlub that has never graced their store before. I asked for $150 in Wax, they have it prepackaged; When I got home it was Shatter and not wax. Untrained Staff has gotten lazy and are not as good as when they first opened. Do yourself a favor and go to any of the PURE dispensary locations. Prices are better there and more professional than the bunch of stoners they now have working at LaContes begging for tips.

I've had negative experiences both times I've gone in here. At first I thought the first woman was just having a bad day so I didn't think anything of it until I went back about a month later, different person and the exact same shitty experience! Rude, while rushing you and getting mad when you ask questions. There are WAY to many dispensaries in Denver to get an experience like this, would not recommend!

I was looking at my points and I had over 600 points. When I was looking at my points it automatically redeemed the 500 points and I called to tell them what happened and the bud tender basically told me my points are gone and there is nothing they can do about it.  What kind of rip off is that. I spent over 500.00 dollars just to be told. Oh well to bad we can't help you. I can't deal with a company like that.

Horrible experience. Jeff the Manager refused to honor the out the door price as advertised on Cannasaver and then tried to over charge me on the regular sale price. He claimed that it said pre-tax in the fine print.. oddly enough after my transaction the coupons have been removed from Canna saver. Likely because pre-tax was left out of the fine print. The north store confirmed that they'd do it for 350 OTD and Jeff called and screamed at the manager there (Jessie) when I told him I'd be taking my business up the road to save $50. All in all a terrible manager and I WILL NOT be back. Take your business elsewhere.

The first time I came to LaConte's was about 2 years ago. I had my medical card and got in a "priority" line. It was cheaper then Rec. I let my card expire and I decided to use to as they had a special 2-4pm (double check the special hours)The first time I was in I bought a plant, they told me keep my receipt and if the plant dies, you can get your second one for free. That's great, we get a chance to fuck up before getting it right.I came in trying to figure out the special time, where if you buy it then you can get an ounce for 99. Its only a couple blends they have normally 3-5. Some indica and some stevia.

Flower is good priced and killah. I like that they have a rewards program. The edibles are good and I like the cartiages. The cartiages are tasty and decent priced.

Great shop, great prices and great staff. They have a good selection of concentrates and edibles, as well as carrying good buds and clones. Definitely worth a visit.

well, as an out of stater just in town for a few minutes, this place was alright.  Friendly staff, prices were lower than dispensaries in RI.  Great selection.   The product was good.   Free stickers, although surprised they don't have the name on them.  No wait, unlike RI.  I guess it wins out being 2nd closest one to the quality inn.  First one didn't take out of state and recommended la contes and i'm glad they did.

I wanted to see what all the hype was about with all the new dispensaries popping up all around town. Parking was small and neighborhood was questionable but I said what the hay and went in anyway. I tried to open a door but they have to buzz you in. I felt like I was walking into a secret society or club. I was greeted by very friendly security men who checked my id and pointed me in the right direction. I laughed as I told him this was my first time and I didn't know the secret knock. I then went to a counter where I talked to a couple sales men who were very knowledgable, professional and friendly. They took the time to answer my questions and get me hooked up with the right products. I don't like smoking so I got an edible to help with pain. It cost about $17 for a big chocolate bar with 75 mg of thc. No matter what strength you get, the chocolate bars are all priced the same and very reasonably priced at that. I left feeling satisfied. Not curious or nervous and scared like I was when I first went in. The place is awesome. Clean, professional, wide selection, great prices. Great experience- now I know enough about the industry to feel comfortable as a customer

The place was a little out of the way for me but it was worth it. The people were very nice very knowledgeable about their clones. I will be back to get more, because they only will give you 10 a day even with an extended plant count. would have given more stars if I could've gotten more plants. But overall definitely stop in and check it out if you want clones.....I went back for my second time awesome service as usual because both times the people have been super patient and helpful when I have been buying clones. The first series of clones have turned out amazing so far and will be back to get more on my second crop. Must go for clones!

I've been to plenty of dispos in Denver and this one is a great spot. They have happy hour from 1-4pm everyday where you can save a few dollars depending on your spending amount. They also have $109 ounces that looked pretty good. In general, their prices are very reasonable. For example, I got some 250 mg OPen cartridges that were $30 -- I've seen other dispensaries charge $45 for them.  Staff was really nice and helpful. Also if you work in the industry, make sure to bring your badge in for a really good industry discount!

Nice people. But very disappointing quality from the $20 quarter deal, it was all shake.  2 strains only.  Literally worse than popcorn shake.  Lesson learned.

Didn't get to make it here but I did call to ask about product. Brian answered and was super helpful. I didn't expect a shop to answer the phone, gave it a shot and Brian was super super helpful. Deserved a review!

This place has the Best Deals and prices! Plus the Budtenders knew what they were talking about and were a huge help. Bryan and Penny helped me and definitely took great care of me. I will be going back to this store from now on. Definitely worth the drive. The even had ounces for $39

I bought an ounce on special. I was told it might have a few seeds. The 1st bowl I clean 1 bud had a gram of seeds! I called after 4 bowls I wound up with 4 grams of seeds. Brian said he would have a manager call me back. I haven't heard from anyone. That was last Friday. I called again today and they would pick up the phone and hang up without answering. So I called the other location. I was told a manager would call me back. I again never heard from anyone. Moral of the story don't waste your time or money at Laconte's.

Came in for a special on their website. Everytime I stop in I spend hundreds of $$$ and tip $10. They sold me CBD concentrates (disgusting) from another company when I asked for Summit Live Resin. A few days later, I came in and asked for an exchange because it says you can exchange on their reciept and the product is not what I asked for. They provided no help and did not make anything right with the transaction. Do not shop here or downtown. They will not take care of the customer.

I was looking for a very specific strain when I found LaConte's. I was thrilled they had it in stock, because I'd been researching for quite some time with no luck. I was able to place my order online with Jane and even was able to chose a pickup time. Before picking up my order, I called them to ask if I could have their happy hour discount if I waited until happy hour to pick up my online order. Christian told me that if I came between 3 and 4:20, I would get the happy hour special. I rolled through at 3p on the dot. When asked what I wanted, I mentioned the strain I thought I'd ordered online and was told, "we don't have that." I explained that I'd placed an order at 9a, which received the response, "we don't have online ordering." I kindly told them their website indeed has online ordering, and another guy responded, "yeah, I don't know what the deal with that is." So, I think Christian needs some extra training, because instead of asking me what I was ordering online, he thought it best to correct my knowledge of their happy hour times. Also, their web site has online ordering, but I'd recommend not using it, because their employees don't even think they have online ordering. Big waste of time, energy, gas, and uh, time. Bummer, man.

Everything is great except I don't know why they call it a clone bar .......I keep calling and they never carry clones.... literally have been trying for three years so I just gave up

I don't why I keep coming here the customer service here is terrible it's like why work somewhere you don't want to be and then be meh with the customers who come in the only good experience I've ever had here at this location is when a Mile High Green Cross employee was here helping out at this location every time it's something I always order ahead and I have to tell them every time because my order is never ready I could continue but I'm not going to put to much energy into this giving details of every issue

I wanted to check availability. She was knowledgeable about the available clones and their effect. I’m older and have chronic pain. But I still like a energetic buzz as well. She helped me address my needs. Thank you Alicia, and yes they have doubled in size in just over a week. Also I appreciate you for showing me the new products. The gummy’s have really aided my sleep. All in all great customer service and quality product.
