Honestly, don't even bother entering this place. The guy at the front counter doesn't care about the brand or the customers and he wears it on his face. We are visiting Denver from another state and figured we'd give this place a try before leaving the following the day. After walking in we were barely greeted by the guy at the front counter, which wasn't an issue, but it was his attitude and the way he presented himself. We asked him how his day was and he responded, "It'll be a lot better in about 20 minutes." Mind you, we did come in 30 minutes before close but you shouldn't be pushing people away especially when the business you work for pays your bills.I just received a new license for the DMV in my home state last week. I was able to purchase alcohol right the down the street, with my ID being scanned, before we arrived here. I was asked to show ID to scan and after he said there was an error, he quickly told me I had a fake ID and that he was going to keep it. I told him that's not true and I received it last week, his response was, "well it's not scanning and it doesn't FEEL real." He asked if I had something else with my name on it (not another form of ID) but all I had was a credit card. For some odd reason, he verified my name on the credit card but then gave it back and immediately asked us both to leave. It's sad that we were trying to spend $500 we set aside between the two of us for product but the guy you put in place was too high on your supply. I won't tell you how to run your business and build your brand but some advice on something you shouldn't do:1. Allow someone to destroy your customer base2. Hire someone who wants to achieve the bare minimum instead of challenging themselves and progressing 3. Allow someone to BREAK THE LAW. i.e. If the ID is fake, don't give it back to them and contact authorities. (If you're an established business then you shouldn't have a problem doing so)4. Allow an employee to be so stoned and misrepresent the brandAND FIANLLY5. Allow someone with a hairline that bad to represent your business. In all seriousness, get people that are going to set you apart from the rest of them. If you set the bar low then that's what you'll receive, low sales. Good Luck!
Pretty breezy experience on my last night in town. We dropped in not long before close to a full waiting room. We checked in and were told a 10 minute wait, but I don't think it ended up being that long. You enter the sales area and wait behind the ribbon until a staff member is available. The young man we worked with was knowledgable and friendly. I'm still trying to figure out what works best for me and he had several suggestions to help manage my anxiety. I'd honestly return just to work with that guy again since we bonded over being from the same town - small world!
I've literally never left a bad review in my life but the experience I had here was frustrating enough to download Yelp just for this... we came in and the first guy at the desk was nice, talking about going on a fishing trip. We were asked to sit in the waiting room and wait for our names to be called at which point they had a staff turnover and another guy took over. After 10 minutes of our name not being called, people who came in after us started being called, we waited for about a half hour as people came and went with our names never being called before asking where we were on the list and this new guy was dismissive and told us we must not have heard our names when all we were doing was listening for them. I realize they were busy but he told us that missing our names was "business as usual", it was "our fault" and he didn't even offer to let us in next so we left. Just in case the owner reads these it was the blonde dude with the emo haircut.
DANI.F .......YOU ROCKKKK....This is the spot yall......dani was amazing. This is my first time in this area and she explained everything to perfection and also helped me and recommended areas to visit an iam a tourist and also here for the game. Not much to say bc everything was amazing. Guys thank yall so much for making the trip sooo much better ;). DANI you are the best.
I just got booted from Native Roots on Quincy because I can't wear a mask for health reasons after being able to stand in line for 35 minutes without one .
I purchased a 1/8 of northern lights a few days ago and it's total schwag. The buds are loose and very light, and the taste is god awful. I don't think I'm going to even smoke the rest of it. Also, I feel absolutely no effect from this bud at all.
I have been here several times. 30% of the time i am greeted with great customer service at the front check in, as well as the shopping experience. The other 70% of the time the door workers are rude, or just inattentive. The bud tenders are usually good but i have had negative experiences with them too. I also placed an order online to avoid their god awful lines and after waiting 3 hours (it said it would be 30 min) i called and the worker lets me know they prepare all orders as soon as they're placed. So i come to get my order and the lady said no one is working pick up orders right now So i have to come and wait in the line to go into the bud room.I will be looking for a new dispensary, this one lacks in many areas.
Been a few times and finally felt a review was worth it. Staff is rarely friendly. Mostly quiet, awkward, with a hint of anger. The first time I went in they were very impatient and I had some questions which they seemed annoyed to answer. Everything I bough turned out great during use though. This last time I went it they scanned my ID incorrectly or something bc it came up as a red alert and they called in security. I've used the exact same ID at multiple bars, dispensaries, and in airports over the last 6 months. Even at this EXACT SAME LOCATION. It may not be their fault that the ID wouldn't scan properly but I felt humiliated and they were unable to clearly (or kindly) explain why or what was wrong. The security man was speaking quite loudly and repeating after every sentence or after I said anything, "Not at this shop, get out". I was calm and collected and polite. There was no reason to be rude. I was embarrassing and frustrated. I left feeling bitter and mostly sad. Not cool Native Roots. Listen to your customers. I have zero ill intentions and I'm beyond willing to cooperate. Just don't do it so harshly next time.
Super friendly and helpful folks. I love this shop and they always come through. Thank you!
Terrible customer service. I called to check up on an online order that I had placed two hours prior and still had not gotten a confirmation on. The girl that answered the phone was very rude, told me , " for future reference next time when you get that confirmation text your order will be ready in 20 to 30 minutes." I was just calling to check on the status as I had placed the order initially at 9:41 AM, received a confirmation they were working on it at 10:09 AM, and then at 11:45 still had not heard anything about my order. I understand that they're busy but the manner in which the woman spoke to me on the phone was uncalled for and her attitude needs to be adjusted. Even when placing online orders I still typically have to wait inside for 10 to 15 minutes to be able to pick that order up. This location is the most convenient to where I live, but I will not be coming here anymore as I feel like the customer service is unfriendly a d rude.
Well we didn't have a chance to even go in as they closed and locked the door before 10 pm - my husband and ran over to make it in time - just needed some gummies to sleep and they saw us drive up - my phone and car clock said 9:54 - they looked at me and locked the door and shut off the lights. Sorry whoever owns this dispensary - you probably lost $100 tonight and all future sales from us. We won't be back.
WARNINGMy family members went in Sat 7/28. Specifically asked for CBD pain salve with no THC. Specifically said we didn't want to get high. Asked if the product he was showing us would make us high, we were assured it wouldn't. Shown a photo of their own CBD pain cream from their own website that says "CBD" in giant black-on-white letters across the jar, he said "Oh I can't tell anything from that." He sent my clearly novice family members out the door with a SIXTY FIVE DOLLAR jar of pain cream chock full of THC which made them "real woozy" with just one use.Not sure how we're going to proceed. Considering criminal charges, complaint to the state, we aren't sure. They sold an intoxicant to customers who distinctly and repeatedly asked for CBD only and to not purchase any intoxicants.
Ryan was FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC. He just made my night. Explained the different quantities to me as well as the pricing breakdowns, we joked about the housing market, and he was very patient and kind. I thanked him for not making me seem like a PITA, he made it seem like there was nothing at all that could bother him. He was chill and inviting. I've always received excellent customer service here, but it was definitely worth leaving a review this time.Y'all got a good one native roots!
We came here after shopping at Costco. You enter through what looks like a back entrance. The waiting area is SUPER nice and modern. We waited in a short line to have our IDs checked and then immediately were let in to the dispensary. There was a line- we probably waited 10-15 minutes in line. There were maybe 5-6 counters- each counter has one register and the same products in each counter- except for the medical counter. It's kind of weird- once a cashier is open, you walk up and talk to them and order right away.We normally go to another dispensary and that one just has one big counter and there's no one on one pressure to buy something right away. The cashier we got was just OK- I prefer the employees at our local place. We compared the prices to the place we normally go to and it's a lot more expensive- probably because they have more expenses- the really nice waiting area and lots of employees. Random- they take debit cards if you don't have cash which is nice!We will stick with our usual place...
Never coming back! Placed an order online ahead of time. Said it would be ready in 30-45 minutes. Hours later I had not received the confirmation text, so I had to call and confirm. Then upon arrival, there was a line 15 people long outside, and once I got inside, there was another long line. What is the point of order ahead if you don't have an express lane? This place is poorly managed and lacks organization.
Have been shopping here since 5/2016, not sure what the deal is with all the negative reviews. Sounds like a bunch of people think that places of business never get busy? lol... I mean seriously, we have a shit ton of people moving here. We have traffic 24/7 it feels like, of course the weed places are going to be busy, you're not rolling up on your dealers house. C'mon people, get smarter... This place is by far one of the best in this location, the people are awesome. You got Daniel, Ben, Andrea just to name a few that are friggin awesome. You just gotta stop being pansies and realize that if they're that busy they probably are for reason... I've never walked out of there in a bad mood, but I have walked in with one. Point is, when you go to these places don't be a dick.
Worst dispensary crappy selection and staff.Text received from one of their employees:Sent from (505) 600 - 8707Question why are you BITCH, You must hate your self. Get over it
Had an amazing experience here today, after a not so good experience at another Native Roots location, where I was given the incorrect strain. An employee named Dani went above and beyond to take care of me, and give me the correct strain I needed, at a reduced price, and gave me some joints for my trouble as well. Absolutely amazing customer service at this location. Highly recommend!
I love this place. It's a very convenient location for me. Easy to order online and pickup. Or go inside and have the friendly employees help you pick out the goods.
If I could rate this dispensary zero stars, I ABSOLUTELY would. I go to many dispensaries because everyone hasdifferent things to offer. My friend recommended that I go to Native Roots in Littleton because of some great edibles she had bought in the past. I called ahead to ask how their process worked because of the current Caronavirus pandemic. (Most dispensaries are doing curbside) The lady who answered the phone acted like they were annoyed that I even called. I brushed it off. Being an essential employee myself, I understand how this virus is scaring people everywhere. Anyway, I decided to pre order on the site and just go pick it up. When I got there, the lady at the front was rude. The way you greet people as they walk into your store should be welcoming. Native Roots front ladies were not! I even tried to make a little joke and got nothing back besides being her being annoyed that I wasn't in the system. I was then allowed to go to the back to grab my pre order. The guy who helped me, AGAIN, not friendly. It was an annoyed what do you want kind of thing. I got my bag and it was just a here you go kind of attitude and no thank you have a nice day. I understand that this is a stressful time for everyone out there but to treat your customers the way not just 1 but 3 of your employees treated me is ridiculous! I will never return to this store again. Nor will my friend. This place should be ashamed of the way they treated me and even the people who came in behind me. Feel blessed that you even have a job at this time. If anyone is interested in a dispensary that can actually make conversation, are very helpful and actually smile, I would recommend going to Trees dispensary off of Federal and Belleview. I have always had a very pleasant experience while going there.
Disappointing. All Native Roots are not created equally w service and price. I like the Edgewater location, they have deals after 7, this place does not. The customer service in Edgewater is excellent, here it's like pulling teeth to even figure out a price. Won't ever come back, and I'll reevaluate the Edgewater location bc I hate feeling deceived by chains.
Don't waste your time. Native Roots straight SUCKS...Overpriced and the employees are arrogant fucks... Don't go in with questions or looking for a deal because you'll leave feeling like you've put them out. Native roots can suck my native you know what and I'm a native!!!!
Very rude counter helper, (doesn't deserve to be called bud-tender) Monday evening. Black haired white dude to the left who can't smile, name m-something. What a jerk...talks down to you, impatient, rushes you, treats you like idiot. Dude's g-d damn offensive. You can't treat customers like that when they did nothing to deserve it. First time, last time...oh and the prices are high comparably.
I love going to this dispensary. Matt D helped me out today and is hands down wonderful. In fact hard to be upset when you're about to high anyways
The employees were nice. Definitely felt like I wasted $40 on absolutely terrible weed though. An 1/8 was gone in an hour, just crumbled into dust, and tasted awful. I've lived right behind this dispensary for years, and always avoided it due to complaints I've heard. Will continue to avoid it after finding out for myself.
Just got done with my favorite activity: Wasting 45 minutes unnecessarily at Native roots on Quincy. I have been here about 50 times over the last 5 months since I moved to CO and I have finally learned my lesson, I don't think I will ever go back. I just waited nearly 40 minutes on a Tuesday morning at 11am and I am a smoker so you know I'm chill, I have just had enough of this shenanigans. You would be able to understand if they were slow just during busy times like the after work rush, or the before closing and right after opening rush, or the weekend rush, but no, the majority of the 50 times I have gone there I have had to wait even during far off peak times. I'm pretty sure the only reason people are still going here is because of the location, I know that's why I go, but from now on I will stick to Native Roots Edgewater or Green Solution because I have also been there a bunch and it is nothing like the waits at this place, I just can't take it anymore. My bud-tender today even told me: "We tell people all the time, if they don't like it here there are plenty of other good dispensaries to go to," and he is right, why do I keep coming here? To save 5 minutes on the drive time only to lose half an hour in waiting, all this smoking must be affecting my memory or something.Seriously if you are going to go here, bring some extra work to do that you need to catch up on or something like your homework so you can do it in the lobby, because most likely you will be waiting a long time. Weed is supposed to make people happy, but almost every time I go there I end up in a bad mood and so do a lot of other people who go here, you know who you are and you know how unacceptable their wait times are.To the manager/owner: Stop it, we all know weed sells itself, but either you are completely clueless when it comes to managing a business or you just don't care, either way you just lost a super loyal customer, although if I still go to Edgewater I guess technically you are still getting my business, oh well I like going to Edgewater they do a pretty good job over there.
I've been to so many dispensary's with my wife. I'm a veteran and we share a bank account. If she pays, then we are both paying. Joe Rob is the first person that has ever denied a veteran of the discount. He was rude about it, he was very disrespectful about it. I felt like he didn't care about the people of this country. If we didn't defend our country you wouldn't even have your job to sell weed legally. And you want to be rude and disrespectful. Every other time I've been to Native Roots, which is a lot, I've never had a problem. I've never felt so disrespected. If you are a veteran, DO NOT, go to this native roots and get served by him. Every other person I've seen at that location has been absolutely amazing. He's the only one that has been so rude and disrespectful.
0/5, will never shop again. Seeds in my weed and over priced concentrates. Its a price gouge for out of state people who are getting ripped off. Avoid like the plauge
Customer service was not good, the guy had the worst suggestions, didn't even say thank you for the tip, never going here again sorry.
$90 for half an ounce of flower? What a joke. This dispensary won't be around for much longer. Also, shorting your customers a gram on packages of flower is disrespectful and manipulative. Before you claim "customer satisfaction", maybe don't steal from your customers.
Staff is very nice, but every time I go in and get their prepackaged ounces they are always a gram or more short! It's even worse when you get quarters and eights! I have a high plant count and go in and buy a half a pound every time and when I weigh it out it's almost 16 grams short! Most of the time it's as dry as a tumbleweed! I let them know about it and they said there's nothing they can do about it because it comes prepackaged from the grow, management has no intentions of fixing this problem! I am looking for a new dispensary after the last trip! Never again! I would avoid this place at all cost, their prices are not that good even with high plant count volume purchases! Done!!
First off, there have been homeless people hanging outside here asking for money or weed the past 3 times I visited. After I got in, the wait was way too long and when I finally made it to the counter, the bud tender rushed me. They didn't know much about their products and seemed very naive to my medical needs. I asked if anyone else in the building knew what I was asking about and he brought out a manager. She was very rude and short with me, just spewing out info trying to get me on my way before heading back to the back office. I felt uncomfortable there. The prices were also way too high
Do not buy a pre-roll they taste like dirt and they are rolled so tight you can't even smoke it they wanna rob you with the prices of their ounces almost $200 crazy I won't be going back there again! Worst dispensary experience ever!
Great experience!!! Walked right in, showed our ID & walked straight back. Robert was EXTREMELY helpful. They had great product, great prices & a lot of variety. Thought they were a great buy for the money, plus they were running a fantastic special. We will absolutely be back!!
My new dispensary in Littleton and I want to thank Rob and the gentlemen in the front again omg you guys are amazing, and the mini joints was a huge shock love it, best place ever, want to shop and feel at home and know the product is just what you been waiting for this is your place thank you guys
The Manager there could care less if your weed is any good or not. Mine sucked bad!Don't shop there. Terrible prices too. RidiculousVery unhappy. . I tried to speak to the Mgr today and he blew me off. I hate to throw $70 out the window and he won't make it right. Terrible business ethics!
Not a bad selection. No key lime vape that I have been searching for...No slabs but other than that they had everything you would expect. None member prices were high but whatever. Its a nice clean cool experience. Thumbs up!
Easy-peazy. Walk in. Show license. Give name. Wait on leather couch. They call your name, bring out a tray of green and walk you through the different strands. Good advice. Fair prices.
My first visit EVER to a dispensary and it wasn't good. Since I was a newbie I wasn't sure what I wanted/needed. The guy helping me was unhelpful, didn't ask me any questions, and rushed me out the door. There are dispensaries everywhere and I will probably try another one next time.
Worst service I've EVER had at a dispensary, my budtender "Cool Guy" Gerard literally said nothing when showing me shatter, just stood there. Didnt explain or try to sell to me at all, just stood there with an attitude of distain. If you're over customer service Get a new job, and dont you want tips as well? I have a small clip on the back of my phone that holds my CC and ID, when he went to put the shatter back i looked at my phone and closed out the window, OBVIOUSLY not taking photos. He then proceeds to speak and tell me to put my phone away, mind you our transaction is nearly over at this point. I chuckled and said Ok, but you do realize its not a major thing to be in a dispensary anymore. To which he quickly and sharply replied, If you dont like it you can leave. I looked up at him in shock and replied, Whoa, calm down, its not like youve asked me more than once. Also at this point we're exchanging money and im nearly leaving. He was so rude from start to finish, im local and i will never go back, i will also be telling my clients of my experience with Cool Guy Gerard, the biggest square in the bud industry. Hey Native Roots As a business owner myself, i figured youd want to know when someone upfront and who represents your brand is rude to your clients, with an air of displaced authority. Gerard having your badge and standing behind the counter means nothing btw, i doubt outside of this anyone has ever referred to you as Cool.
This is a very cool location. The decor is awesome and they have great prices. Super friendly staff. They are very busy but you can always get in and out in about 15 minutes. I am so glad they are right down the street. Always great specials especially on Mondays.
I would like to personally present the people's choice award for worst pre rolled joints I have ever had. First off .5 gram joints? Who does that? Second, 99.9% of the time they absolutely do not smoke well at all. They either don't hit at all or run down one side. Save your money and drive 5 minutes away to Trees Dispensary and get an actual joint worth smoking. Double the weed and they don't use tiny shitty little papers for practically the same price.
I go to this Native Roots location often as it is the closest dispensary to me. Whenever I go to other dispensaries, I am reminded it is not only the closest but the best. Seriously. Friendly bud-tenders every visit but yesterday's experience was what got me back on Yelp to leave a review. My bud-tender was Amanda and she was a cut above the rest. After describing what I wanted she recommended exactly what I was looking for and at an awesome 'out the door' price.
Gave these guys some tough reviews but they made good in the end and let me back in. After several bad situations with Green Solutions it was a huge blessing that I am allowed to patronize NR. Prices are decent and the location is very quick to get you in and out regardless of volume. As they are super close I really want to continue a longtime relationship with this establishment. The new NR is super cool and I love them. Great work everyone.
Speed up the service do I'm not waiting in line for 30 mins like I just did. I'm staring at 5 bus tenders and your guys rate in terms of helping people's is 1/10. Super slow service it's not that hard to tend bud everywhere else I've gone is pretty timely with like 10 min waits max.... (ADDED ON 9/20/16) THEY HAVE HORRIBLE PRICES)
Love this place and there budtenders . The selection was very good and the feel of the place was modern and comforting. Nick was the budtender that helped me out and connected well finding out we both loved widespread panic.
The boys at native roots are awesome!!!! Happy and friendly! Matt D was awesome and definitely very knowledgeable. Only place to go!!! Thanks Matt!
This dispensary regularly serves recreational users 5x quicker than med patients. Supposedly there's only one licensed employee for medical. Unacceptable. This will be my last 25+ minute wait here.
I have been a medical member at this location for the last 5 months and today was my last visit. I will never come back and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They are way OVERPRICED and the containers are always SHORT. I would say its about every 1 in 5 containers has been skimmed. I get it home and weigh it and it is always less than 3.5g, sometimes 1g short or more. I don't know how they get around the states tracking system, but they've got employees dipping into these regularly at the customers expense. I've gotten home before and when buying an ounce have been almost 3 g short. Today I got an ounce and get home and find out that they charged me for the wrong strain which was way more money. I've had enough. They are always messing up my order. How can you mess up an order when everything is prepackaged? It seems like such a simple task to scan the containers, put a sticker on them and toss them in a bag, collect the cash and bam, done. The budtenders don't ever know what they are talking about, know nothing about the strains and have a hard time completing simple tasks or giving correct pricing information. I would not recommend this place.
This dispensary sells THE WORST marijuana in the Denver metro region. On recommendation from a friend, I spend over $60 at this place on 2 different strains and a 100 MG chocolate bar. Not a single thing I was sold had any psychoactive effects whatsoever. I ate 2 pieces of the chocolate bar, way more than you should eat, and felt nothing. No pain killing effects, NOTHING. The pre-rolls and 8th I bought were just as worthless, and tasted like fish. I called them up today to ask about this, nobody answers. As far as I am concerned, this place is a total scam. I will let everyone I know to stay away from all Native Roots. Mexican dirt weed is more effective than the worthless garbage this place sells.I purchased a "Blue Kudu" chocolate bar, DO NOT BUY THIS. There is ZERO THC in the bar. Apparently Native Roots only sells 0% THC products.
Every Native Roots that I have been in has been great, but this location is the absolute best. The staff there is so friendly and helpful, I seriously feel like I am hanging out with my friends every time I go in there. Rachel at the front desk is super cool, and Ben is always helping suggest new fun stuff to try. It is sometimes busy in the lobby due to the awesome location, but I've never waited more than 15 minutes and everything is worth the wait, believe me! I LOVE the Native Roots Littleton staff!
Nice store with professional staff. They offer high quality products at really competitive prices.
Stopped in from NYC while visiting the area. Place looked organized and like a well-oiled machine. The staff were very nice. I was there to pickup a t-shirt and a sticker for my friend back in Connecticut.
For the d bag in the pony tail.... I'm asking a question. You don't have to be a sassy prick. I am not a usual smoker but some one had recommended I try cbd oil! Instead of helping me, you tell me that there is no such thing and then continue to argue with me! When I decide to leave (because you are too high to even listen to me... or just an idiot) uou yell at me to not give you Attitude?? No wonder you have two stars! Unbelivable!
My first time at Native Roots, Alyce was my bud'tender and she really set the stage for a great experience! She was friendly, knowledgeable, professional & enthusiastic. I was shopping for my husband and Alyce had great recommendations based on my descriptions of his preferences- he's definitely happy with their quality, I'm sure we'll be back!
They're not very helpful. Not experiencing don't know what you're talking about most of the bud tenders. Low THC. I will never go back there again. And I will tell all my family and friends and everybody I know that goes dispensaries to never go to native roots ever again.
I'm not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from, but every time I have ever gone to this dispensary, I wait no longer than a couple minutes and everyone is extremely friendly and helpful in answering my questions......can't remember your name sir, sorry, but the red head with long hair and long beard, was extremely patient, kind and informative. I had several questions about edibles and he was very helpful. Also, this store is pristinely clean and modern looking. And to all those weed snobs and naysayers, JUST BE THANKFUL YOU CAN BUY WEED IN COLORADO FOLKS!!
I went here in a pinch and it turned out to be a welcome surprise. I felt that the yelp reviews are leaving the wrong impression so don't be fooled, it's a nice recreational dispensary with good selection, good prices and fast & friendly service.
Really enjoyed my experience here, there staff was friendly, and very helpful. There interaction was polite and welcoming. Plan to return soon!
My favorite and only dispensary I frequent. All of the employees are incredibly kind, interesting, and know their stuff! It's not that I show up far too often, but just getting fist bumps and having the employees know your name makes all the difference--and that's the care they put into what they do. I've found that their strains may be a bit limiting, but I've never been upset with the product and its quality. Definitely go med here, too! Their prices are nearly half that of the Frisco and Dillon locations (70 for a 8th--WHAT?!) and they always have great specials for around 30-35 and 8th. Highly, highly (pardon the pun) recommend this location. Plus, they have some pretty hot babes working here! Always a plus! See you in a week, folks! :-)
don't complain about the quality of their packaged concentrates or they will ban you.
The vibe was very comfortable and everyone there is super knowledgable. Theres a huge selection to choose from but Breezy helped me find exactly what i was looking for. She was professional but also looks like she smokes mad blunts!
I have been here several times. They are pricey but good quality. I just called today and asked for the shatter types they had on their menu but the receptionist told me he had a ton of people in line in front of him and didn't know! He told me to check their website. I'm completely turned off from this place now. The employees are getting cocky and they don't even know what they have for sale.
Super nice inside, staff was very friendly when first entering. Nick was my budtender and was super knowledgeable and took his time. I will for sure be back
It is a process to come here and every time I think about coming here I get stressed out. There is a feeling of being rushed through the place, like cattle on the slaughter line. The staff are friendly enough but not in an authentic kind of way. I have been coming here for almost a year and every single time I enter the doors I am treated like a 5 year old by the staff. Usual wait times exceed 30 minutes anytime of the day. I love the store in Edgewater and hoped this would be similar but alas, it is not. The selection here is sub par and for some reason I always leave feeling like I have been ripped off. They have this weird policy going on here now where they charge extra tax on their "prize winning strains". I don't really know what this is about but I went from paying close to $35 for an 8th as a local to paying over $50 for the same thing. This just further contributes to the feeling that I am being ripped off. The waiting room here has now been cut down to less than a third of the size. I don't know whose bright idea this was but due to the amount of people regularly waiting in line they obviously didn't have the comfort and accessibility of the customer in mind. I have often attempted to call ahead and inquire about available strains and percentages of CBD, etc. and every single time the receptionist has been unwilling to assist me in any way by just saying something akin to "Ummm, I don't know." I have attempted to engage some of the staff in conversation about their product or special deals and they immediately turn into salesmen/women and start trying to explain to me what cannabis is and how to use it. I understand this is just a for-profit business but they could do so much better than what I have witnessed from them over the past year. The last time I came here was in fact the last time. I am tired of experiencing the bad vibes from this place and have written it out of my life for good. The Edgewater store is still on my maybe list, I am not too sure about them and if this "prize winning strain" price hike is a company-wide endeavor. I am thinking of trying Chronic Therapy instead as I have heard of some humanity going on over there. All in all, I won't be back here. Native Roots, I don't know what to say, I keep passing you balls and you keep dropping them.
This place is just simply the worst. They got a great location but everything is either overpriced or awful or both.
I love this location! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. They seem to make it a point to always recognize regular customers. Everything is quick and efficient too.
I used to love Native Roots. Good hours, friendly and courteous staff! But evidently, new district/regional management has decided, after a YEAR of my patronage as both a Recreational and Medical patient, that only MEMBERS (as a medical patient) get the BOGO joints on Mondays (recreational users get the deal regardless). A week ago, when I came in for BOGO pre-rolls, no one talked to me about the policy change. The cashier tried to tell me they've been telling patients about the change for a long time. But as a weekly customer, this was the first I was hearing about it. The only reason I was not a member is because they NEVER have Critical mass in stock, and another dispensary does. They basically told me I was at fault for choosing another dispensary over them, and that they would be happy to help me when I chose them as my dispensary of choice, but until then, no grace period, no help, no nothing. Thanks, but I'll keep my membership at a dispensary that gives credit back for sales, cares about it's customers, and knows how to keep people coming back with ACTUAL customer service.
First of all, the door, I'll tell you in advance, is on the ground floor aiming toward the Costco parking lot. There was no wait. Jacob helped me out, and he kindly walked me through the various options. Prices on both leafy goodness and vape stuff seemed comparable, if not a little better, than a couple other places I've visited. As I live right Littleton, I'll definitely be visiting again soon and I'll check back to this review to make sure it still holds true. But my first visit was a good one and everyone there was friendly and knowledgeable. If you want to know where it is, go to the Costco on W. Quincy and you'll see the sign in the general NE direction. It's right on Quincy. Enjoy!
This place is awesome. Love the vibes from all bud tenders. I usually always shop Tuesday's or Thursday's and it's never busy!! I'm in and out with what I need thanks guys!
I tried several other places before ending up at Native Roots. I've been going here for almost 2 years now and will not go anywhere else. They went through a tough process to expand and it is 10,000 times more accommodating now. There's a line for a reason guys. There is nothing south of there. Look at a map of dispensaries and you'll see. The problem is Arapahoe and Douglas counties. Take it up with your congressman. If you don't like it, just turn around and go somewhere else. I don't see how anyone can bitch, about anything!! We are lucky to be able to get marijuana in this state. Maybe you liked it the other way? We are talking about getting high here people! I wanna see friggin' smiles on every face from now on when I go in there!! If you have any better suggestions on places to go, with consistent deals/product, I'm ready to read it!! Tony helped me today and he is a god!! Not THE God, just a god!! I forgot to transfer cash to my checking account and he let me take the time to stand right there and do it!! Thanks a lot bro!! Keep this guy!! Anyway, chill out people, it's pot!! We should be elated all the time!! PS. Don't worry about the negative reviews guys, everything is just fine.
If you get Michael, I would suggest you ask for someone else to help you. He was impatient and rude. He was completely annoyed with questions and gave short, curt answers. Not a very enjoyable visit. We left to buy flowers somewhere else.
Way over priced for what your getting. Way long lines. The quality just doesn't seem to be there I'll stick to my cali weed all day.
Ordered online to reduce wait time. I've been here over 20 minutes waiting to pick up my online order. People that were in the regular line have already been served. Frustrating.
Even if you place an online order, you will wait in 4 different places if you come here. Outside the store, getting checked in, in the waiting room and the wait in the actual dispensary room. It took at least a half an hour for me to pick up an online order that was bagged and ready to go. I've never been to a dispensary so poorly run. They make no effort to move the long line faster. Also they closed their parking lot for NO REASON so nobody could park there. I had to walk lol. Super fun experience. A good tip, get an online ordering window!!
I go to this place all the time. The staff are very friendly and super helpful when picking out new products even when I had no clue what everything was. Marshall was an awesome help today just as everyone else was top notch!
I would love to know how their Growers are actually this bad, I've been growing for 25 years and I can grow any strain to be tasty and good, this stuff doesn't even taste flushed, these are the most rookie Growers I've ever met in my life, it is pathetic this place sucks.
Native Roots: Lined up outside. Young lady (slender long dark hair age 28? name? ) comes outside saying having some computer server issues yet still selling. While i'm outside and realize more people are waiting inside, i simply asked how many people are inside ahead of us. I just wanted estimate if i had the time to wait. Her answer in a smart a- tone "what does it matter if you want your weed" My reaction in my mind is lady your store is located in Littleton suburbs. Many customers in their 40-60's. Show some class and customer service. Anyway, i left never to return. Way to run a business.
Nice staff and an updated menu every time I went in. Selection was hard to see due to small, fixtures. That's my only criticism. Other that that it's great! Go in on Mondays for bogo js!
Don't bother shopping here, they're complying with the communist enforcement of masks. Yet no signs anywhere. Corporate sheep shutting down good America. Sad they dropped to this low.
Displeased with this dispensary.First) The prices. I had to utilize a "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" deal to get even close to the prices I normally pay in Westminster. Then to top it off, taxes aren't included in that price, so it shot up substantially from there as well. Second) What really threw me off, was when I realized I was $18 short and asked if they happened to accept cards. The employee said yes but didn't mention anything about a large upcharge. Nor did he mention he sucks at math, so he rounded up and charged $20 to my card, then refunded me the remainder back in cash. Who does this?! The $20 charge showed up as $23.75 on my card (3.75 / 20 = a ridiculous 18.75% upcharge). This fee was not even mentioned on the receipt, I had to check my account...I personally have to wonder if it is intentional so they can upcharge more with their nearly 20% fee. Then he kept the change as well... So what would've normally cost me $56 came out to $72.75 all said and done, and this was with their Buy 3 Get 1 Free "deal". Bogus. They are preying on people not paying attention to their receipts or bank account.
I would not even put a star on this review. But the only way to be able to leave a review is to leave one . I chased a battery from the Trinidad location and it was junk, it didn't even charge or allow me to utilize the two cartridges they were sold with it. I called her location in Colorado Springs and they refused to help. Stating that their medical lonely and could not even meet me in the parking lot to transfer or exchange the battery from their own company however suggested that I just go to a head shop and spend more money on a different battery. Disappointed to say the least, this company is out of control and not worth going to in the least bit
I've come to really enjoy native roots it's not really a place to get great herb, but a really pleasant experience with a very knowledgeable group of bud tenders. I don't shop around enough to know if there price competitive to the other places but I feel like I'm getting good value every time I come in so I don't mind not shopping anywhere else.
I want to start off by saying how much I absolutely adore this location, they always make my day better. I've connected with quite a few of the budtenders and they are always super warm and friendly! This is definitely my favorite location, thank you all for all your hard work this past year ❤️✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Great place friendly and knowledgeable staff
Just signed up as a club member . Been going here for about a year now they always have great deals the best bud around and the bud tenders are very friendly! love the atmosphere! And they’re open until midnight that’s another plus!!!
Great strain but prices could be better
Besides what I’m about to mention, this is a wonderful place with great products, employees, and atmosphere, so don’t be hesitant to try this place out! Okay, I am a Veteran and cannabis relieves much of the pains which I received while serving. I have been going to this dispensary everyday, literally, for the last two months, with no issues; just great experiences. Today I was turned down because I have a temporary drivers license which had an expiration date 6 months after the day of issue instead of the usual one month. In some states it takes a drivers license longer to mail out if a Veterans status needs to be put on the license…being the reason for the extended expiration date…these things need to be addressed on a case by case issue. It would not have scanned properly in the first place if there was anything fraudulent going on; it is this same document which worked fine the last two months.
