The best possible service. I got a defective battery. They replaced it for free. Highly recommended!

I came here on a local SF friend's recommendation. Press the doorbell and the people will buzz you through the front windowless entrance. Go to the door to your immediate right and you're at The Apothecarium. The person at the front desk was super nice and friendly, and explained the prices. Fill out a form and show your federal-issued or state-issued ID and you're good to go.The Apothecarium is super slick looking and modern and contemporary. They have a bar looking area in which you order your merchandise. The person working the bar area showed a comprehensive menu of items, separated by categories such as flower, edibles, pre-rolls, etc. The person explained everything really well and was very cool to talk to.Sad face for me as the edible gummies I wanted, they didn't have. I went ahead and went with some tabs.

The Apothecarium is super convenient for me right down the street from my house! The service is always on point! Matt is always super helpful and greets you with a smile under his mask ! If you are in the soma area you should stop by and check them out!!

Obviously, you are lying, I called Weedmaps and they mentioned that you are advertising and paying for their services.

As great as the set up and offerings are the best part about this location, is definitely Davante. The support in our selections as well as answering all of our questions was second to none.  Really took the time to ensure we were confident in our choices. Will definitely be back for more suggestions and Sabrina discussions. . Thanks again Davante!

Love the experience at this spot. They seat you on a leather chesterfield couch before calling you up to the bar to consult one of their employees. I wasn't super impressed with my consultation, but I did come in there knowing already what I wanted. They don't carry any dog products FYI. I was hoping for some CBD oil specifically for dogs or CBD treats. Overall I would definitely come back again to browse the menu. I do like that they didn't make me go through a whole profile submission process like a lot of other spots. I was able to use a guest sign in that required only a quick check of my ID.

Don't come here. We bought two joints, and didn't check inside the packaging before we left. One of them was empty? Like fully packaged w stickers and we had to unwrap it and there was no joint inside. Really rude

I stopped by the Apothecarium for the first time today to pick up an online order. The ordering process was seamless, and the text notifications were prompt and detailed. When we arrived the staff greeted us and provided a great customer experience, despite the challenges of operating during COVID. Awesome service and great product -- I'll definitely be back!

Products are okay. The staff here are incredibly rude. I came in here with a friend not knowing how this dispensary worked (there's basically a bar where the server will give you a menu of the items they keep in the case) and the girl working behind the counter was very dismissive - she didn't bother with an intro of how the place worked after we flagged her down and said we had never been there before, and barely answered our questions.  Pro is that the location is convenient, but you can find other dispensaries in soma or Fidi with much better service (see 2one2 on california - the people there are super nice but the place is small).

Over the years I've been to dozens of dispensaries and can honestly say that the ONE component that sets places apart is customer service. I've seen the good the bad and the ugly. Apothecarium SOMA and Harley (sp?) in particular went out of their way to make things right and thus have created a loyal customer. Thank YOU!

1. They don't accept credit cards2. I went to their atm to get cash3. Their atm was buggy and slow and worked after second try4. I got the exact amount of cash for the item5. The prices didn't include tax and it's very confusing. Why not adjust to the actual price? It's stupid that I have to do my own calculations.6. Completely new to this and not having any knowledge of marijuana vapes, etc.... I took a chance after reading some of the reviews.  I called and was greeted by a really friendly and nice voice.  I explained my situation and invited me to come check it out.......so I did based on how friendly and professional he was on the phone.When I arrived, I was greeted by 2 individuals who once again, were completely friendly & professional.  I was also greeted by a big puff of smoke.  LOL.I filled out some paperwork and immediately got someone to help me out.  After explaining my situation, she helped me decided on a vape pen and a cartridge.  Prices were fair and the store is super clean so I don't mind paying a little more for that nice experience.......Here's where they lost a star still I cash tipped as I know how important those tips are!  Minis 1 star for NOT giving me my $5.00 off 1st visit and the fact that I explained I knew nothing of this stuff, I was NOT offered to try it out in store or at least show my how to do a quick 1st time run thru.......Needless to say! I figured it out quite easy and will be back as this place is super nice.  Very comfortable, non threatening place.  Love it!

Love this place!  Classy, high end feel.  Clean and well laid out interior.  Super comfy.  Everybody's nice and informative. I work a block away so this is my go-to for edible gummies and pre-rolled joints.I tried two types of Lagunitas weed beer and I think it sucks!  It's neither beer like you know and love; nor is it a savory flavor of whatever it's supposed to be.  I wish they just made like root-beer weed soda or cola weed soda.  Hell, you can do every single flavor of whatever soda and throw THC in any of it and it'd be bomb!Highly recommend this dispensary!

I used to love this place...used all 3in the past for delivery...I am disabled and very saddened that your delivery service stopped..not sure why? So it is with great dismay..I search for the other delivery services now..I liked blackbird go..it sure beats leaving your wonderful program...please try to reinstitute delivery even for the elderly, sick, wounded and disabled...that's the real service here for the medical patients...

This place looks great after the remodel. Quick and friendly service. Great spot for people who have never been to a dispensary before. Highly recommended :P

The woman at the front desk is very polite. I wish I could remember her name.  I do remember the person behind the counter though. Ruby is awesome.  Knowledgeable and courteous are just two adjectives to describe her. The store is beautiful; sort of a modem Victoria feel.  It's classy. California's 15% sur tax is unconscionable and the politicians who support that huge tax need to be voted out!  Sorry, enough of my soap box.  Please visit this location.

I am so excited to see what the SOMA Apothecarium SF grows into! It has a similar feel to the original flagship store for those of you who have been medicating since 2011:) With friendly, educated staff and a very convenient mid day stop on a lunch break I have been very happy with the quick in and out times. I have frequented the Market Street location since it opened and was pleased with their relocation when they moved up the street next to the new Whole Foods in the Castro. I can only imagine there is more to come! Next on my list is a visit to the Lombard Apothecarium SF! My favorite part about my Apothecarium experiences is the great suggestions by the staff after listening to my needs and questions. High class all the way!

I love The Apothecarium. Super impressed by the ease of their process, cleanliness of the store, variety of product and service. Whatever you're looking for, they'll have it and their menu, while expansive is organized. Everytime I go in here the staff is attentive and knowledgeable. A+ all around.

My husband and I were visiting San Francisco for a long wedding weekend and I wanted to try out a dispensary. A friend from back east recommended the Apothecarium and after doing a bit of research it looked like the perfect spot. Upon walking in, I was greeted by very friendly hosts who explained how things worked and checked me in. The ambience is super classy and clean so I was very excited. That ended right as my husband and I were called to the counter. The salesperson we were assigned seemed annoyed that we didn't know what to expect or how to make our decisions. I asked for an overview of their offerings and that helped a bit. In the end, we felt rushed because she was annoyed so we quickly ordered some gummies and a vape pen. I don't know. I wish the visit was smoother but the products were good. I think I would recommend a different dispensary to a friend or maybe one of the other Apothecarium locations.

I usually go to The Apothecarium in Castro, and I absolutely love it. I stopped by this location on my way home from work and was extremely disappointed. Everyone who works there is extremely rude and will not help you search for the best products. Pretty much the same products as Castro location but terrible experience. Definitely do not recommend this location - if you want to try out The Apothecarium, it's worth hopping on MUNI to go to the Castro location instead of this one.

Came here with a buddy on day one of legalized recreation during the afternoon. I figured there would be a long line after work. After filling out a short form and giving my CADL, I went into the roped line that was on the inside of the waiting area. Took about 10 minutes to get to the front in which I had plenty of time to look over the menu and appreciate the art they had on the walls.I had an idea of what I wanted to try out and went with the 12 pack of prerolls in the tin where my buddy got some gummies and other stuff. Guy behind the counter was very friendly and welcoming, and I didn't feel rushed. Got $5 off for being a new customer and childproof bag to carry the goods. Came back on another occasion with a friend visiting and grabbed a couple of cones and got another $5 off for referring somebody! Didn't know there were all these perks. Turns out you get $5 off on your birthday as well. Not sure what the whole gamut is, but it is clear that the shop appreciates your business and shows their customers a lot of love.Highly recommend coming here. No pressure to get anything and they are happy to answer any questions you might have on any of their products.

They either never seem to have what I'll looking for or tell me they don't carry it....always seems to be something. This evening, I could clearly see they were not that busy (you can see directly inside) yet they asked me to wait outside (on the sidewalk with other annoyed customers). I said, "No thank you, I'll shop elsewhere!"

Me and a friend strolled in here in the afternoon check the space out and see what they offered. It wasnt busy at all. Unfortunately we were greeted by an extremely condescending budtender. All of our questions were answered with contempt. We were not made to feel welcome at all. Aside from that the selection was fairly lackluster. We were scoffed at when we asked if they sold seeds. I cant see how service like this will survive this expanding economy.

This place is great! Same awesome customer service and products that I love in their other shops. Keep up the good work!

I generally love the Apothecarium for it's atmosphere and consistent commitment to discernment of quality/ high-end Cannabis and Cannabis products. The Howard street location in particular is super sweet for the same luxury atmosphere, with less of a wait and the cheers-y neighborhood feel :) It's cozy and kind of feels tucked away in SOMA. I love not having to wait in some exaggerated line (since this is more of a 'working' area - less of a party vibe around here, no offense Castro Apothecarium!) , and still have that consistent quality product as well as knowledgeable product consultation. Harley and Markel were my first encounters at the front entrance, and were just so warm and invested in my experience, I couldn't help but stay engaged for a while before I made my way to the consultation counter.Mike assisted me in choosing some great Pre-rolls, gave me options, talked me through the flower in the product. I had a completely encompassed product review experience to fully equip me. I felt so happy with what I got (Apothecarium's Pineapple Express pre-roll pack) - small stack, heavy hitters ! Just what I wanted , and also just like me ;) lol ... seriously though - Thank You Mike, Harley and Markel for making my experience so pleasant and cozy!I'll be visiting again soon!

so yeah. was looking for igzactly and their website led me to a general weedmaps page. couldn't find "igzactly" in weedmaps search by name. When i called to ask about the menu since i still didn't know they had changed their name, they informed me they changed names from igzactly to apothecarium THREE MONTHS AGO. ok, so maybe if they had just changed names this month, i can understand not communicating the changes. three months, however, is a joke. it's insulting to your customers. from my last experience with the new staff to this extreme laziness, it's obvious they do not need new business and do not care to try to get business. i had to find out igzactly had been renamed by using weedmaps map. the igzactly wesbite is STILL UP under IGZACTLY. dude you guys are a hot mess right now. i would not spend any money there until they get their business in order.

Their gram is no longer a gram even. Very poor service. Their stuff at Market st location is much better.Staff is not friendly either

Visiting from out of town and stopped by here because it was the closest dispensary to where I was staying. When I walked inside, I was greeted and checked in. It was strange to me that she was explaining that the return policy only came with a membership. Anyway, long story short I bought a couple half gram carts and 100% of them leaked and one of them fell apart. Sticky mess everywhere and waste of money. And guess what? I already know the return policy. Lol what a joke. Overpriced, junk products that you can't return. The carts were weak too. They don't sell full gram carts either.

Decent selection but everyone that works behind the counter seems to hate their jobs. Reluctant to help and sassy.

Really clean interior, and incredibly warm and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend stopping in if you are in the downtown/SOMA area, it'll be well-worth your time.

Only one star for the single concentrate available and at a very premium price.  Most dispensaries carry a wide selection of concentrates.  This place comes off as "fancy" but does not provide more of the "fancy" concentrates.  And this yelp review was forced because they have zero "contact us" info on their website for feedback.

Unlike the informal, even gritty, atmosphere of some of the more casual clubs in the SF Bay , ApoSoma ascends to a more elevated and stylish approach that, if misunderstood, could be a turn-off.This extremely well-appointed, boutique-style venue has a luxurious, luminescent ambience that has always been hushed and unhurried on my numerous visits. It strives for an upscale presentation that may seem threatening to the less well-heeled customer who has cobbled a few dollars to hurriedly exchange for a gram of medium-quality marijuana.The hosts are a tad hipster, aloof, touchy, and pretentious but they are very correct in the manners and irreproachable in the their knowledge of their products and ability to make informed decisions.Being a bit of a snob myself, I can roll with the maitre d' approach if the goods live up to the hoopla - which they do. And I can't find fault with the prices.All in all, a very nice establishment for the discerning enthusiast.

This was my second time at this location and Aaron seems to not like his job. He's always rude, unhelpful and just plane uninterested. Please avoid this place unless you're desperate.

Was a tough weekend and I needed something to cure my hangover on this beautiful Sunday morning. Not only was their selection great but the energy in this place was almost enough to cure my ailment alone - Matt was beyond helpful and saved my day!

Everyone here is amazing!! The staff is unbelievable and always extremely helpful, I can't recommend this place enough it's so professional compared to anyone in a 5 mile radius. If you are new or an expert this is the place to go.

I am soo confused as to why this stellar dispensary doesn't have a solid 5 stars, but I also know enuff about yelp and review mentality to not bother reading further - I have a solid history of consistently amazing experiences with Apothecarium. (Even if I can't spell it correctly the first time.) Product selection is great- responsibly sourced, well curated, and with a focus on wellness and targeted applications.I'm not looking to get slaughtered and stare at the wall. There is a time and a place for that.. and for me, that's decades ago. Today, I want my budtenders to be well informed, to know their terpine profiles and have a working knowledge of the endocanabanoid system, and to help me address specific needs. These folks do. They are legit product experts who I can turn to for helpful recommendations.Ambiance wise, this place feels good. It's civilized, polished, professional. Price wise it feels appropriate but I'm not a market expert. They run sales frequently and have a nice customer points program. In (not so) short: I dig this place. See above ;)

What a great visit, normally when going to a dispensary I am nervous and feel judged as I truly know so little about the different strains and types.  Plus, I only buy edibles as I don't smoke.  Here I was treated so kindly, and with patience and understanding.  I did not feel judged or rushed.  My questions were answered, and I was given helpful suggestions.  A great visit, Yasmere was a fantastic budtender.

Love their products and enjoy using their to the door delivery!! Try the thc in pill form :) I just love being able to get my high without lighting up!

Apothecarium is a very chic & modern dispensary with helpful budtenders! I came here for some edibles specifically gummies and the woman who assisted me was so friendly! She helped me choose between many options and even suggested her faves! The menus are on big screens which allow you to scroll through easily and click on items you may be interested in to learn more. It also helps keep you distanced from the staff. Prices are reasonable as well. I will definitely be coming back here! Last but not least - COVID-19 CHECK: all staff is wearing masks and enforcing social distancing. Only the person purchasing will be allowed in the store.

I have never received better service at a dispensary than my time at the "The Apothecarium". That honor is specifically due to the amazing assistance and professional care Davante Cade took during my transaction. Davante was knowledgeable and able to find exactly what I needed, going the extra mile to research an answer about a purchase. I look forward to returning to the The Apothecarium in the future!
