I just called in as a loyal patient since 2010 and of course the management was super cool and that's why I'm always impressed by GD. Product is exceptional- I've seen it all know the industry very well and these peeps are connoisseurs in all aspects. And there's no shortage of confidence among these employees but I've never had somebody come off condescending or less than professional. I don't know if it's training or hiring talent but the dude understood I wasn't calling to complain as much as say "hey give it a look, make sure your not accepting manicure strategy to achieve weight because it makes a savvy patient do a double take (and I'm not above reproach I've trimmed like that in the past- I get it)The nose was epic and had it been tighter and packaged a little better I wouldn't have even blinked. They even had it marked down to a very fair price so it's just one of those things where I was giving my opinion, the manager was thoughtful, and made it right and I felt heard. It's not about the money as much as wanting to feel like it mattered. I've been coming here for a long time and never had any issues (I can look past the rude bud tenders). The Green Door used to be stocked with fire product (Spliffin & P2 Cartridges, Platinum Cookies) and the prices used to be affordable. In most recent times I have noticed the opposite. Stocking issues is the main concern for me, specifically cartridges. And with $60 eights of top shelf flower.... Thank you for the memories.

My name is Gilbert M. today 11/01/19 I bought this cypher super lemon haze cartridge and battery from The Green Door. They were super helpful in assisting me in picking out exactly what I wanted, especially Lucas who recommended this cartridge. It hits clean and is very high quality! It hits very smoothly and I would recommend it to anyone looking for clean carts for fair prices. The packaging is great and quality excellent. I'll definitely be coming back!

I live in Oakland, I've been coming to the green door SF for about two or three years now...its the best one, in my opinion, I've tried different spots around Oakland and SF....they have friendly staff members. FIVE STARS!

I love going to the Green Door for my vape pens and edibles. This is the only place currently that I'm able to buy Beboe products. I love their edible tart candies. If you're looking for awesome customer service you HAVE to go there. Are you inexperienced with your knowledge of vaping, edibles or just have questions? The people at the counters will help you out.

The tuesday after Veterans day, I was looking for some Indica shake, along with my Plus edibles and the dispensary I've been using didn't have any, so I took a look at a few different websites. I liked Green Door's website, which was well laid out and easy to read, so I decided to give them a try.Patrick suggested to me I try "Three Amigos" brand Indica hybrid and I was blown away by the price- $30 for an eighth- so I decided to try it.I'm very pleased by the effect, and glad I tried it. I'm not really much of a smoker because I have asthma, and this product was pretty easy on my lungs as well as providing me with welcome pain relief.    My one complaint is that it didn't come sealed, but to my somewhat experienced eye it looked like the weight it was supposed to be. I would prefer it was sealed. But that is my only complaint.Patrick was kind enough to throw a couple of paper tubes in the package for me, since they were out of papers, and was overall was very communicative and easy to talk to.The delivery went smoothly and I recommend this dispensary.

It was my first time ever going to a dispensary after getting my physicians recommendation letter. Super friendly staff helped me pick out medication that would help me with my insomnia. Definitely recommend!!!

Yes we have no Indica! WTF??? Went in to see what they had since I was in the area and I noticed the flower part of the board was loaded with Sativas and hybrids but no Indicas. Can't do the Sativas and hybrids as they don't let me sleep. Asked if they had Indicas that just weren't on the board and the answer was no. Def NOT impressed if you don't have ANY Indica flower.

This place will price you out the club. They keep raising the prices and dont replace with same price product!Bought a G of shatter for $23.00 last week.Now $34.00 a GProfiteers!!!

My visit to the Green Door was amazing. This wasnt my first visit but it was one of the best. Coming in I knew what I wanted but the budtender Lucas made sure I saw the comps. His recommendations lead me to buy a better product than what I originally chose. What compelled me to write my review was his knowledge of the inventory its like he knew what I wanted. Very cool. The Green Door is definitely a must see if you're ever in the area ! We've done business with them for a while now and it's been nothing short of amazing ! The staff is so warm and welcoming , the budtenders are extremely helpful in telling me what's going to work for me and what's not . My tolerance for flower is extremely high but let me tell you- they've got some of the best flower around ! They're whole selection is huge and chances are if you're looking for it - The Green Door has it ! The artwork on the walls is incredible too , done by some of my fave artists . And if it's your first time , Omar will give you a tour and show you how it's done! A must see if you're ever in the city ! :)

i love this place! it was recommended by a grower friend of mine and he was right! quality & customer service are always on point. i've done both delivery and in store shopping and both are great. went in for some herb today and was surprised with points and holiday specials - walked with an eight of"cup of Joe" bud as well as a nice preroll for the grand total of $5!thanks lucas much appreciated !!

Rude rude rude The "Budtender" was just plain rude. I don't have his name, but I just remember him having 0 patience in answering questions. You'd think someone who's supposedly there to help you would actually help you. But nope, he was just rude, bored, and had zero patience.Because of this, my friend and I left immediately and took our business elsewhere.

With the cross country legalization of recreational Cannabis coming in October to Canada I was interested to get a glimpse into the future by visiting a California dispensary now that it's legal across the state. The process is quite methodical beginning with reviewing and signing a terms of service/ membership agreement and providing your identification. Once registered you're instructed to head in one of two directions, the edibles buds and pens section or the shatter and hash section. You line up and wait to be served in between rope dividers and while waiting their menu board is lit up above your head like you're waiting to get a Big Mac combo (but they don't got bigmacs here, no sir, you go and get one after you leave... with a McFlurry... and a 20 piece chicken nuggets... oh, oh, oh, and maybe an apple pie and an extra Big Mac ... just in case). Once it's your turn you place your order, as you would at a McDonalds and it served hot and fresh in a ziplock child safety bag. I won't go into the particulars on what I may or may not have purchased but what I will say is this "whatever you think your tolerance is... divide in by 10 bc this legal stuff makes the former Bush weed and shake of yesteryear look like oregano). The future is here my friends and it's green (WITH PIZZA!)

This place is described in one word , "Great", because every time I come here I leave with that very same word in my head. The pre rolls that I bought are the reason I came back and not to another dispensary that are near by ( Barbary ). Now the product CannaTique Prerolls are great, they don't go out like some other pre rolls do when they roll them too tight. These are rolled perfect and never have to re-light them and taste great.Service: I walk in to get my favorite pre rolls and one of there employees steered me into using my loyalty points to take a break on the price. The girl who helped us was super friendly and helpful in helping us decide on what to get.  We were all newbies, as I'm sure she gets a lot of them and made our experience a lot of fun.  We eventually just bought everything she was offering because she was so nice.The facility is clean and has a different set up than what I'm used to seeing in other states.  You have to sign up and all of their goods are in the back out of view.  They bring the good to you as you come up to the front desk so it forces you to converse with the associate instead of just browse.The goods also come in a child proof baggie.

Stopped by last week for my first time after hearing about this place for the longest. Big shoutout to Ern for his suggestions and customer service. Will be coming back soon!

Everyone I've worked with here has been friendly and knowledgeable about their wide range of products. It's super helpful is you are looking to try something new and want to talk it through. Sherbinski's is my favorite, I would definitely recommend checking his stuff out.

Lucas was very helpful and I bought the bubba kush. He's awesome And he is an amazing person to work with. Everyone here is very comfortable and nice and there is a really good vibe. You can come here if you are new to read because they know a lot about what they are selling. I don't go anywhere else but the green door and I recommend everyone come to the Green door because they have good service

My name is Andre, and I've been in a few times looking for some vape catridges.  All of my trips have been a fantastic experience.  The staff was very helpful in understanding my needs (anxiety and sleep) and per their recommendation I have settled on some Spliffin Dante's as my go-to (thanks Logan).  I did have an issue with a catridge, but Green Door replaced it no problem.  Much love guys.

Went here for Cellski record release party ya diggg...Had had a great time here. Lots of room to chill, plenty of lounge area. There are a few T.V.'s to watch a game while ya getting ya chill on feel me. Kool spot to relax. I will be back.

The customer service is pretty good here.A Lot of my friends like too come here. If you want sativas this is a great place too go.The service seems pretty quick too.They do have edibles , great selection, and they seem very knowledgeable.

Just visiting cali for vacation and the green door is by far one of the best dispensaries Iv ever been too. Very clean, and open store. Choices are easy to find, lots of great strains. "Game changer" and anything "cookies" is bomb there. Edibles by big Pete's are fenominal as well. Great staff, great product. Highly recommend. #michigan

My go to for half 1/8 and consistently menu for a long time. Over the years this place have gotten new obnoxious rules,rude budtenders. Extremely price increase.It was nice to know you  GD but it's time to part.im not paying for selection blind folded or obligated to give what you have in stock.

This place used to be amazing - but the lounge being closed is a big deal breaker for me. I used to be a daily customer making a semi-large purchase almost daily. Being able to have a safe space to consume is important to me. The fact that I showed up one day and was told that the lounge was closed - with no explanation - and no projection for when it was going to open again. No thanks! I understand things happen; regulations change; permit requirements change, but if you want to keep your loyal customers you should communicate what the plan is going forward. I found another dispensary in SF with a lounge - and the employees are a lot nicer.

Green door has all the stuff you need and good prices. Ive actually lost count of how many times i've bought stuff here. Also the staff is very nice and will help you figure out whats gonna give you best experience.

This was my first experience with the cannabis clinic. I went there just out of curiosity and learned a lot from the staff. It was pretty cool to get to history of cannabis and all the uses of cannabis. It's a place that you should check out if you're in San Francisco.

The weed is weak!  The top shelf budd they sell are male! The budds are male, not desired when it comes to smoking flower. I have been smoking weed since 1972. I know the difference between good weed and bad. Look closely at the weed, if it as holes in it, the budd is male, indicating where the pollen was shot out of. If it has seeds, it is female that has been seeded, also better then male budds, I'd rather have eeded weed , at lest I know the budd was female. I know they want they're money but they are selling garbage and asking for top dollar. The high does not last like it does with female budds. that means yo smoke more to stay high , or they will be hapy to sell you some concentrate at $40.00 dollars a half gram. also a rip off. I will never ever ever shop at the Greed door again. Ever!

Very, Very, RUDE! Some woman named Jackie or Jacky!  She was incredibly rude to me and friends that have visited GD. Other staff members have always been helpful and warming. Store always nicely kept. This woman was so awful though, that it has ruined our future visits as well. I have friends say the same thing with their experience with her. Good luck to future customers. Hope this helps and people have a better experience.

Got an eighth of chem dawg the other day. Was some heat! Will definitely be going back

I use to be in love with this weed spot. AND i never wanted to say anything bad about a place that i went to alot. THE spot had good high THC weed plus the upstair spot was away popping.BUT last year in oct i had got about 175 dollars of very low thc weed.I had been going here for years and had some free 8ths coming to me,it was very weak THC weed  never really got me high. THE weed i spent my money on was a joke too. SO i call them and i talk with a manger about it, and i went from antioch to the city to pick up a free high THC 8th.BUT that was a joke too!!! I was hurt that a spot that i enjoy and i brag about,to other people would dog me.I try to give them time to emprove the weed and re-open the spot upstairs.BUT that never happen.SO i gave up,i had so many good times here.I won a fat bag of granddaddy purple weed on 4-20-2014 i was very happy with that.AND the lady staff are very hot to and nice.BUT NOW they have lost my love,it like i lost a hot sexy latina girlfriend.MAYBE someday they will wake up and smell the shit and change there ways.I have found many other spot that have great weed at a nice price.WHAT i do not understand is why would you ever sell weed that has real low THC.I love weed that gives me a powerful long lasting high.AND i have found alot of nice weed spots that i enjoy just as much as the green door.LIKE the purple star and the barbury coast.I will pay up to 100 dollars for a super THC weed like 28 or 30% THC .I enjoy a weed that i can float on a super high that i can feel the next day.MARY JANE is my main thang she makes me soooooo happy.

My friend and I came from Fremont to visit this dispensary for the first time. All employees were very helpful and kind, however the budtender failed to ensure the correct volume on the cartridge that we purchased. The receipt shows that I paid for 1g, while the actual product was only 500 mg/0.5g. This was very disappointing as we had already left the City and could not simply turn back around. Also they were sold out of the specific flower I was hoping to purchase.

We were visiting in San Francisco and desperately needed some pain relief. Within a matter of minutes I called set up a profile, and had a delivery to my hotel room all within the hour. They were extremely accommodating and helpful over the phone, as we are from out of state and really did not know what needed to be done. I would recommend this place to anyone. One of the best cannabis clubs ive ever been to since day one before bud was legalized and shop is still dope af. They even have a lounge room to smoke in & chill which i love to go kick it at with my friends. A lot of amazing flower prices are a bit pricey but its quality flower. Love this shop!

‍What can I say except I actually will and have traveled across the bridge just to hit this spot.The concentrate counter is where you'll find me, and I have never had a problem getting what I want at the price I can take. I am a medical user and need pain reliving strains ie Indica. Many times at many dispensary's they leave my needs at the wayside due to recreational users seeking "flavors" and mainstream naming. I'm interested in my reduction of pain in the 4 tears in my knees, carpal tunnel in each wrist and reoccurring migraine headaches. They have yet to let me down with the line I have heard far too many times at other dispensary's"we are serving all Sativa's at this time" Thank you Green Door for always caring about patients and their needs. It's more than appreciated.‍

High quality bud with low prices, place is always super clean. There variety is pretty broad and they are informative if you have questions. I like there check in system easy and safe. I like there prices didnt skyrocket once things went legal. All the other dispensaries are too expensive with bad quality.

The 100 mg gummy is the business! My friends and I split that thing into at least 20 tiny pieces and had a nice high for an entire weekend :) Definitely recommend and I'm coming back for more!

Came in here since they remodeled and it looks great! Love the artwork and the receptionists (Shawnday was amazing!) and staff are all very helpful. Was nice that they were both recreational and medical. Had a few CBD oils and could expand on their variety of potency. Always a phenomenal selection of quality flower!

What happened to Green Door? I used to come here all the time now I don't bother anymore. The store seems to have serious stock out issues. Every time I come they never have my stuff. Most of the items are sold out. I don't want to blame Green Door yet, but is it because of some kind of shortage? Or regulation? I don't know.

DON'T GO.  Wasted a bunch of time to be told you have to purchase a shitty concentrate from them to use the lounge.  Ended up dabbing on the street outside of it.  Fuck this place.

I've been a patriot of The Green Door since 2011 I've always been satisfied with the products flowers at The Green Door . Currently I am truly feeling the Zookie flowers . I am a true Indica and hybrid Indica with high THC . Also I really like the dablicators . You use to carry the jetty but the new dablicators are good too. It has been a struggle to find the right medicine for my sleep and pain needs.  Finally I discovered Mary medicinal CBN patch.  The CBD's I tried make my heart race.  None of the stores (SOMA) I frequented had the patch but Green Door.  Thank you Green Door.

Convenient location, only a couple of blocks away from downtown/Market Street. Wide variety of selections and prices. One of the big downsides, depending on the time and day, is the window customer service. Reception staff is always cool and friendly, but when I get to the window I will either have someone who is friendly, knows what they're talking about and brings selections to show you, explain and compare. The other times have me trying to talk to them across the room and squinting at the different varieties they're holding up. Definitely will come back for the menu and selection, but the window service wouldn't male this my go to medical dispensary

Stupid registration process where you have to have password sent to your phone you have tell the iPad in order to register which the instructions for on the kiosk are not user-friendly. Then once you get up to the window you can't look through the menu yourself- you have to describe to the budtenders what you want - which is incredibly time consuming when all you wanna do is hurry and get out of there. Additional note; the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in hours and was out of all paper items.

They must have some new rules.  Now you can only see a sample in a jar and decide if you want to buy and how much, and pay for it up front without seeing the bag you will actually be buying.   Very lame and customer unfriendly, after many years I will not be back.   I'm not ordering a burger and fries, I need to see what I will actually buy before you get my hard-earned $$$.   Best of luck with your new rules!

I love the Green Door. I've seen a huge turn over throughout the last few years, but there are still a few smiling faces (even if they don't remember me).I wanted to review the Green Door first for a few reasons - they're one of the oldest dispensaries in SF, one of the ones I respect the most, they have a huge variety of cannabis in all forms, and they have one of the only smoke lounges where you can medicate on site without disturbing other patrons.Need delivery? On Point delivers :)When you walk in you have the choice of standing in line for flowers and edibles or heading straight back to talk to a budtender about concentrates. All games are on point - flowers, edibles, cartridges, and concentrates (tons of delicious dabs) - they need to up their topical game (no good creams, no Foria pleasure / relief). The lines can be long at peak times but efficient budtenders speed through the process. The menu changes regularly and is clearly displayed, indicating Indica / Sativa / Dominant / Hybrid strains and pricing. Top shelf IS top shelf here and they always have my favorite brands. Beezel ;) Gold Seal :D Kushy Punch !Staff is fairly knowledgeable overall and management is on point.

Everyone talks about this club like it's best they may have some really good tree, but the customer service is horrible. Everyone there acts like we should be honored to be allowed in there.  The staff is always rude and always act annoyed when you ask for suggestions plus they don't know what they are talking about half the time.  Really save yourself the trouble there are plenty of better clubs in city.

This is the worst dispensary I have ever been too! We just came back from there and we are never going back! The weed looks horrible and there is so many stems in it

2/13/18 @ 630pm. Worst customer service. I was a new member and was treated like crap initially. Young lady who helped me practically barked orders at me on what to do and acted like I was bothering her! Yeah, won't even consider coming back to this place.

The selection was not all to impressive.That was minus 2 starts...And the other 2 came off when I find out that they were running low on disinfecting wipes for the Volcano mouth piece. So they gave us one per mouth piece. Personally, I like to use at least 2-3... A lot of people use them so they should be sitting in a jar with alcohol already to begging with. But anyways... I wanted to use more so he just gave me rubbing alcohol with paper towel???

Always good delivery, after delivering once they don't give you a hard time about showing your card . Love their bubblegum kush! Smells and tastes just like bubblegum it's crazy !

I've visited about 25 different clubs/dispensaries in the city, and always find myself returning to this particular one. They are definitely one of the most, if not the most professional clubs in the entire bay area, they always verify members correctly and are always monitored by at least one security guard. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and they know almost everything about their entire inventory. The have an excellent menu board full of different herbs, concentrates, edibles, and topicals, and if you make your way to the back of the shop, they also have a full hash bar, clone counter, and merchandise area. Prices here are always good, they always have something to fit everyone's budget and top shelf buds are always capped at $47 per 8th(Definitely Try The Cadillac Purple and Green Crack, Both Dank).  In addition to an excellent store front shop, this place also has its own lounge located directly next door. On your way out of the club, have the receptionist buzz you up, and gently ease your way up the stairway to heaven. Once you climb the tall flight of stairs, you are are instantly greeted by a munchie machine to the left and straight ahead; paradise awaits. Right when you pass through the door, the room pulls you in with its cozy temperature and aromatic scents of mother nature's medicine, and for that moment, auto pilot takes over. Within these walls, you have everything you could possibly need to enjoy your session, plenty of comfortable seating (tables and couches), Smokeware at your disposal(Everything from bongs to pipes to Volcano vaporizers), board games/billiards table, television with satellite channels, and free wifi. I love that this place truly is a lounge in every sense of the word, they allow you to bring in outside food and drink, use your cellphones and electronic devices, and smoke your buds and hash in peace;without a time limit. Come here for sure, just don't plan on getting much done after.

Green door is doing great, so I need to update my review. I was a bit surprised 5 years ago when I stumbled in the club, but things have changed dramatically there and so I must change my elaborated but accurate review. They remodeled the entrance, and made the space feel more nicer. Their happy hour is lit, but walking out of there after a dab hit feels trippy since you're out in the commotion of downtown, but it's appreciated! The lounge has always been a nice touch if you can hang, and their volcanoes and bongs always get the job done. Their top shelf is always great, and I like that they show you different bags to choose from. I haven't tried delivery service yet. Thanks for the great service!

Not sure why the Green Door is not pursuing recreational sales. They have a note on their website in all caps "NO RECREATIONAL SALES, PURCHASE A LICENSE HERE". This is exactly the kind of backwards, in the closet thinking that the movement doesn't need right now. We need to come out into the sunshine, be clear, upfront, and legitimate about our business. If they having trouble getting permits from the city, as the dude at the  counter told me, they should place the blame squarely on them. Right now it really looks like they're trying to maintain this quasi-legal criminal state of being which is not helping anyone. Glad to change my review once Green Door starts to get with the times.

I visited the Green Door today. It was a nice visit. Located between 4th & 5th on Howard, location is what seems to be the best part about this shop, just a few blocks away from Market St. If your lucky enough to find a spot on Howard great, otherwise you will most likely need to use one of the parking garages nearby. (I did notice some guys getting busted by SFPD a few doors down from Green Door. A mixed group in this area)Once inside Green Door, I informed the receptionist that I was a new client, and he proceeded to check me in. While the paperwork end was processing, I decided to look around and get a feel for the place. It very much reminded me of a check-cashing type of store front, with 4 windows behind thick plastic glass. This was obviously the area to purchase. I further looked around and found another room that contained waxes, shatters, etc. Lots of variety, but the counter was unattended so I left. By this time my paperwork was ready to go, and the receptionist was ready to finish my registartion. I was offered a ticket for a pre-roll as a new client, and went on my way to the windows for 'purchase'. After waiting in line (think the rope line you stand in at the bank) and studying the menu, I decided on my purchase. I thought it was interesting that the items we're all pre-packaged instead of having the counter person remove the flowers from the jar. All in all, Green Door was fast, easy, and convinient. I would compare this visit to stopping into your local 7-11 store; you dont really stop to look around and dont really make alot of eye contact with the folks around you, just handle your business and move on. Green Door gets 2/5 stars from me.

Love Green Door ive been to plenty of clubs pretty much all in cali this is my favorite. I enjoy there bud because of the quality. It was much better back then but its still good. The budtenders are rude but i dont care i make more bread then them and im getting lit. Its gooood lol i love this place because of the reasonable prices. Any other cannabis club you go to taxes of the ass and they are even more rudder. I see why people feel there customer service is bad but seriously thafs why you do your own studying about the bud and plus they have an active menu online. Any one who is tech savvy already knows what they need . come on now high people are annoying they talk nonchalant. The only thing that needs to be spoken to budtenders is what they should getyou. This club is great fuck harborside . cookies. Blum and barbary coast with there moldy ass dry bud.

They have great deals for some quality green but, their customer service is horrible! everyone there seems to be a little too "medicated" and they are so rude! I have honestly left upset and never wanting to go back. I took a break from the club for awhile hoping it be better when I came back but, nope. Rude staff who is unknowledgeable, don't recognize you and barley care to speak with you when you're there. I'm never coming back after my last experiences there!

Very weak dispensary  definitely a bust. went there for the first time today for some edibles and let me tell you..... worst suggestion the lady could've ever gave me. Menu is small. Rushy ass workers. One guy was screaming at this elder customer like ..

Just had major neurosurgery and couldn't make it to to store in person The delivery service was very easy efficient and friendly.

My first visit to the Green Door but it won't be my last! I was very surprised to see how extremely clean the facility was even with the constant traffic. It did take some time to get me all signed up, over 20 Mins. I was happy to see the different areas for different medicines. Everyone was extremely friendly and nice.

These people are so rude and clueless as to what basic customer service skills are. I overheard the skinny white guy with the beard tell a woman that she can "see" (As in fight) him because he was from East Oakland, that is after she told him that she would see him again after he got off. The other guy had an attitude out of this world. The supervisor didn't hold his employees accountable at all and I'm pretty sure they'll lose customers based on what I witnessed. The BBB will be called based on the nonsense I witnessed. I told the girl to go to the other club down the street. Word of advice, be nice to the people that are BUYING idiots!

The manager here is understanding. If you encounter a problem he will fix it straight away if possible. Good environment. Clean. Can be loud at times but overall enjoyable!

I called to see what thier return policy was, and was told they did not have one, but I could have a discount on the next purchase, while nice, most dispensaries have something in place, but as the saying goes "buyer beware".

Wow this place is bad, product is whatever but what really is bad is the level of professionalism and customer service. Been a customer here for years and always hated having to stock up, but its so convenient because it was right next to work.. But now I go out of my way for Sparc. I now only come here for cheap $5 pre-rolls and cheap 1/8ths that Sparc does not offer. They recently took the plastic windows down.. I asked why and it was an attempt to be more personable. HAH! They were the only club that had a thick plastic window in the first pace and they should of just left it up. Sure one out of ten visits are ok but they never say hi, thank you, or even let you know when they are ready! You walk in and usually someone is talking to security or to another co-worker and you wonder when they are going to acknowledge you (yet you don't know if you should interrupt because all of them look hella rough). Same with the bud tenders, they talk to each other while they help you! Never a recommendation or anything, just super unprofessional. Another bad thing though is the people who go there.. It's like a visit to Walmart in Oakland! I been cut in line here! The guy was just like "naw" and just went to the window when it was my turn! That only happens at ghetto Walmarts I thought! Most of the customers here take way too much time when it is there turn, they loudly flirt with the females.. And are just overall obnoxious and classless. If you are hella hood go here and no where else, you will love it, it's heaven, thx.

I first met LaShae while I was on break at work. She informed me about the deals at the Green Door and informed me to bring all my friends. She was very informative, professional, and down to Earth. I go here a lot because of the way she explained the shop. They're all super friendly professional and down to earth. Definitely come here!!! It's worth it and not as expensive as other dispensaries.

Cool place. Traveling and didn't bring my meds with me. Needed something to keep calm and stopped by this place. Friendly staff, nice selection of edibles and they recommended something for me for my needs that day. I see they carry the Whoopi Goldberg line for ladies for their monthly needs. Guy told me he hasn't sold any yet! Ladies, (or gents with ladies) the Whoopi and Maya stuff is great stuff! I used to stuff myself with Motrins and no more! Just rub the ointment on your belly and you will feel so much better if you have bad cramps! Works fast too! The cocoa in the line taste good also!

I truly enjoy having the Green Door in my neighborhood and consider it to be one of the top clubs in SF. :) I've been coming here for years and plan to continue to for as long as they stay open, which I presume to be a long time with the way they run their business. Their selection is truly unbeatable when it comes to edibles and flowers, but they have especially stepped up their game when it comes to concentrates and offer a lot of different types, potencies, and both top shelf and affordable strains. They also carry Clear Concentrates which are some of my favorite, at a considerably lower price than at the other places.One of the best things about the Green Door in my opinion is their lounge. There is no other place in the SF Bay area that has a lounge like this. Its huge with tons of seating area, they offer a bunch of different smoking equipment, and you can both smoke AND vape. Its a great community of passionate people and a fun time every time coming up to the lounge. You will for sure get to see some familiar faces, try some new strains, and make some new friends while dabbing and medicating all your pain away. And on top of it all, I am disabled and they have always been extremely helpful and call the elevator down for me specifically and have multiple people helping me, I truly feel taken care of at the Green Door.

In the past, Green Door was my go to spot for great quality and deals on medicine, but in the recent year it has fallen to my third or fourth choice when I need to refill. Here is why: 1. New bulletproof windows make the place seem even less personal than it was to begin with. 2. Some staff members have serious attitude problems. There is no reason to not be smiling, or to not say please and thank you.  (you work around chronic all day for christ sake)3.$1.50 "convenience charge" to use cards. nobody else in the city does this, so why do they?Another HUGE problem I uncovered after some investigating is the fact that Green Door says they take "credit cards," but there is a big catch. They require you to enter a PIN number when using a CC rather than sign. This means that they are running the transaction as a CASH ADVANCE rather than credit, which depending on who you bank with can cost you extra fees. The only reason to visit GD these days is to take advantage of the vape room upstairs. Save your time and money and order delivery from lifted.

So I've been here a number of times now, my first time wasn't a stand out experience in any way. I think dismal was the word I used, but not any more. The staff at the door have always been friendly enough, the bud tenders as well are mostly relaxed and welcoming. Some days it's a bit hectic and no one's perfect all the time, so I forgive that on occasion the bud tenders can be a lil frustrated, they have to deal with some knuckle heads throughout the day and I can understand how that effects the expressions. They do have a great selection though, and the prices aren't the best in the city, but they are fair for the quality. I'd say they get that fifth star for being open at 9am. It's more convenient for me to stop by another club a few blocks further down Howard, but that other club, (name withheld) which I also really enjoy, doesn't open until 11am. So Green Door, apart from the laughing I hear when I say "Gene Simmons" outside, I do like that secret you're keepin. Those flowers really help me enjoy the cramps that little bit extra ;)I'll see you guys in a few hours when you open up...

I come here sometimes because of convenience they have decent prices. They recently took out much of the bullet proof glass that made this place feel so lame and un-personal. The bud is decent for the price but if you are balling on a budget DO NOT come here. They do not really have much lower priced product unless you want leaves and stems for the "shake" they sell for cheap. They DO have a lounge for smoking (no tobacco) which is awesome. But  OK prices OK product OK staff = OK dispensary...nothing specialALSO the staff is merely ok. PLEASE hire friendlier staff come on. Whats the deal with going in and having someone not want to talk to you or explain the shit your buying? If someone isn't passionate about the business and they cant do the job......... well fire them....when I talk to someone I expect them to give me CLEAR and CONCISE answers. Not act like I am burdening them and that they cant wait to get away...

Went to the Green Door yesterday as new client. Processing was very efficient and courteous.Got friendly advice on vape pipes from Eric, he is cool and laid back, knows alot about the vapes. Went to  the  lounge with my little beagle, chi-terrier, "Augie". Great lounge area with 5 large screenTV, has a soda and snack machines with a pool table in the back, About 25 patrons watching the Warriors play, Warriors won 121 vs Oklahoma Thunders 95. Definitely going back for thevapes and the great lounge area.

Refuse to give your phone number or if they insist, walk away.  One day after my visit, spam text messages blown up my phone. That is real BS to do that to your customers.

OMG!!! This by far is the Best medical marijuana collective I have been too!!! I went there after a long overnight shift at work about 9:15am and two lovely ladies greeted me with such warmth and kindness. After being pleasantly checked in the line was very fast and the cashier was awesome with recommendations also a free preroll just for coming in and making my purchase. I'm very pleased to have such a pleasant environment to spend my money. This Club not only have high quality product but amazing customer service. Thanks Green Door!!!!

I want to say that this is the only green door that I open in SF. Coming from San Jose, I set my standards high on everything high from flowers to concentrate to having the best deal. This place offered me some of the best flower I have come across for 35$ eighths. Great concentrate. The front staff is loaded and the workers hook it up with industry love. My number one go to yayyy

The smoke lounge is the best! and it's clean which is important to me. Relaxed vibe with chill music and comfy couches. One of my favorite places to medicate. Bring your ID every time or you can't get in. Don't forget to bring cash too. The charge for debit transactions blows. Overall this place is cool.

Used to visit this place quite a bit when I lived in SF.  In a fairly easy location to get to.  The people behind the counter were always super nice and quick to help or recommend strains.  I've always felt safe here and loved the selection and prices. I use extracts to medicate and prefer extracts this dispensary has a good veriety and good prices and I love their point system comes in handy when your short on cash also good flower selection. And they have a lounge where you can medicate.

Will not accept electronically verified recommendations. You must have a piece of paper with a seal.I recently renewed my recommendation using eaze which is electronic only. Green door will not accept this for no apparent reason.Avoid unless you have a seal, or on principal of their policy of turning down legal recommendations.

I love The Green Door. Great location, nice set-up, good service and a great lounge.The Green Door is located in a nice area. Not far from the 5th Street freeway exit and a half block from Moscone Center. The Intercontinental Hotel is across the street. They have a few parking spots available on the street...other than that, it's your typical SF Merry-Go-Round-the-Block or choice of many parking garages. I recommend the 5th Street Parking Garage behind the Intercontinental Hotel...especially if you're visiting Lounge 8four7.I give The Green Door credit...they know who they are. There's no identity crisis. Beyond the patient ID check, the employees treat you like a typical consumer...not so much a patient. Let's be real. The employees know their sh*t and are very cool. Take care of your business and be on your way.Be prepared to order your medicine. As you wait in line...if there is a line...the extensive product list is easily visible and frequently updated on 2 huge flat screens above 3 protective glass windows. The Green Door prices are very good and the product is above average...and mostly very good.Here's the great part -- Lounge 8four7. If, and ONLY if you make a purchase at The Green Door, you can visit Lounge 8four7. Located 2 doors away (847) and up a mighty flight of stairs. They have elevator access for folks who can't make the climb. I've heard dudes cough-up a lung towards the top of the staircase. Lmao! Lounge 8four7 is awesome! VERY CLEAN and sterile. Many sofas, table tops with chairs, sectioned areas, HD tv's, WIFI, music when approximate, games, books, a pool table, and a clean bathroom...all for you to relax and enjoy while you smoke your product. If you don't have a joint or pipe, Lounge 8four7 has a generous selection of pipes, bongs and volcano vapes...all clean and sterile. Free of charge with a quick swap of your ID. The visitors are polite and friendly. The only drawback, as I mentioned, is the mandatory purchase per visit. It gets old for the frequent customer, buts it's a good rule. Otherwise, every Tom, Dick and Harriet would visit.

This is by far one of my favorite dispensaries in San Francisco. The staff are hella chill and polite. They also added a new addtion when you walk in the dispensary is more spacious then before. There are plenty of edibles here and they have quality bud and wax for a reasonable price. Registering takes about 10 minutes or less if you are a new patient there. Make sure you bring your recommendation number or medical cannabis card, and most importantly your California state ID or license. You'll need your ID card everytime. Upstairs they have a smoke lounge. They have bongs you can borrow while being there. Alcohol pads are provided in order to ensure the poo pieces are sanitary. There are TVs, plenty if comfortable black couches, some tables and chairs, and also a pool table. You are not supposed to be smoking tobacco products in this lounge (ie. Backwoods, etc.). They have a little DJ stand and played some trill ass music. The lighting is dimmed and colored giving off a chill vibe. Overall I love this place.

The door is the best place to get your medicine. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful to all walks of life. Customer service varies from person to person.  The 847 VIP club is the #1 lounge in the nation!!! Best selection of strains for back pain, stress, cramps and nausea...And if people are mad about paying taxes on medicine -talk to the IRS and California government!! It's not the staff's fault, all clubs do it!!

Today I had the worst $5.00 joints at this place. I realize that that they are only five dollars bit do you have to use wet weed??? I cannot not believe how awful these joints were. Supposedly; sour diesel! Bammer weed is better than what they put in these joints. Green Door; don't sell crap.  I could smoke them, because they were too tight and WET.

All around great establishment.  I am always greeted with a lot of "sir", "thank you" and "have a nice day".  In my book these courtesies go a long way.  Everyone there is very pleasant.They have a huge variety of products, everything is rated and the prices are the best of all the dispensaries.  If you buy enough they throw in a free pre-rolled.  BTW the pre-rolleds are awesome.I like how all the bud product is pre-weighed and sealed in zip lock bags.  I am not a fan of places that keep their product in large glass containers, it dries out the product and I don't want other customers touching and breathing over the inventory.  I can say enough about how much variety they have in all type of product: buds, concentrates, edibles, drinkables, balms, lotions, oh my!I really like how they don't do that boutique-thing some dispensaries do.  It's a bit more like a bank, well maybe an old fashioned bank full of tellers.  Some may like the boutique style, not me.  I'm all business.  Show me the ratings (THC, etc), strains, brief description.  Give me good prices and get me out the door.  Works perfect every time.The place, or my initial perception, used to have this New Jack City gang-going-legit vibe to it but I have since become more comfortable and they tweaked their style a bit.   They recently opened up the counters (used to be like a jail visit where you had to speak through bullet proof glass).  The girls, who are often very attractive, used to practically wear lingerie, but they seem to not do that any more.  (don't get me wrong I didn't mind, but I guess I prefer a more professional approach).In general they seem to be growing up a bit and becoming more legit and professional.  And for my dollar, now that the novelty of legal weed has faded, I'm all about business.  Get in, get info, make a choice, get a good price and walk out the door with a "Have a nice day sir, thank you for visiting".

Yesterday I went to the Green Door to make some purchases... After a $44 Hashbar purchase, I went to the front counter to get some prerolls. With $20 in hand I said, "I need some $5 Prerolls. Could I please get 5 for $20?" I was told that "No", I could only four at full price.Of course I could have just gone to another shop just four blocks away and gotten that very deal on prerolls of equal quality. But that's four blocks away, I'm in a wheelchair, and well it's just too hot out in San Francisco right now... I realize this may seem trivial,  for a $5 Preroll until you realize in the last few months I've gone to the Green Door and spent over $400, just on Prerolls alone and not counting other purchases. So yes, that seems just a bit greedy and petty to me. While I will still go to the Green Door for small convenient purchases,  I will not be making anything larger than a $20 purchase again... the place was fun while it lasted.

Well I basically wasted $55 there last week buying a eighth of titan og. The weed was dry and old and it did not get me medicated at all. That's pretty ridiculous if you have to sell shitty weed to customers. I will never go back to this shit hole again . The Bud tender did have a nice set of breast on her though. God I wish I could suck on those all day long. I think her nipples were getting hard because I am a handsome fellow‍

One of my favorite dispensaries, The Green Door has some of the highest quality flowers available in the San Feancisco Bay Area.   Some of their standout strains include Cadillac Purple, Kosher Kush, Candy Jack, Ogre, and Titan OG.   In addition, their upstairs lounge, two doors down at 847 Howard Street, allows you to medicate, watch tv, use their Wifi, have a snack, or play pool.  The friendly staff at the lounge will lend you a bhong or a digital Volcano vaporizer during your visit.  Don't miss the opportunity to meet fellow cannabis enthusiasts at the lounge.   Recently their menu has been expanded to include a $55 per 1/8th top shelf selection.  Their Charlie Sheen OG was amazing!

This is the best Cannabis club in the City. They have the best staff and they have a wide selection of flowers and waxes. The edibles are so good. They have a newly redone lounge with good ambiance open for you to smoke on the 3rd floor and is open monday to saturday 11 to 8pm and sunday until 7pm. They have couches, tall tables and chairs, and multiple flat screens and pool table and games and bongs and pipes for you to use.

Let's start with the store itself: filthy and in total disarray. The person working the front desk was extremely rude and acted like she was doing me a favor by acknowledging me. They won't allow a customer in the store without a valid CA Drivers License - even though I have a valid cannabis card and passport. Since they refuse to serve people that don't drive I just walked a couple blocks to Barbary Coast. I'd give em a half a star for location but that's about it

Not what it used to be but it's getting a little better. The strain I always get here is Platinum Cookies. Every batch has always been good for me. I've been coming to Green Door for years. Since it went recreational, prices have changed and I feel that the quality of the bud isn't as potent as before because of the recreational use. Lucky for us there a lot of bud being produced so the black market is looking good. I still come here and there when I can't get it. By far, this is the best club in the city. This is my go to. I got into an argument with one of the workers because she made me scan my card And still wait while her friend was able to go right through.. I wouldnt ask them for advice on the product. I feel like they Bunch of high ass college kids who just make the sale and say Next. I'll come back next year when you properly train your newer staff to respect their elders.

Some of the best prices in the city, for quality medicine. The Candy Jack is a treat, and being a big Jack fan, if it's available I'll always pick some up. It won 2nd place in the SF cannabis cup last year for a reason!Not setup like a high-end club at all. Tiny entry room and pretty large main room aren't very inviting, and the doorman will be on a personal call half the time. 3 different lines lead to bulletproof windows with some foxy budtenders. All transactions are done through a tiny hole in the bulletproof glass which makes the whole visit feel very weird. No loyalty program, but you get a free medi-cone or edible with your first purchase.All the highest quality eighths are $49, tax included. Haven't seen any other clubs with 22%thc Platinum OG Kush for under 55 bucks, so I end up here pretty often. Another thing I dont like is that you don't get a deal for quarters. Eighths are 49, quarters 98. All the other amounts have discounts (ie: sixteenth     24 / eighth 49, half 185, etc). Overall excellent medicine, mostly great prices, sketchy layout, hit and miss service, and convenient location to some (as it's the only club around) with long hours.

Went in here again a week or so ago. The place looks nicer inside, but I still feel like hella shady stuff is going down here. The prices are competitive and the girls behind the counter look like they are straight from Hustler. Weird, right? Makes me wonder how they hire people to work at dispensaries. There is a back room with some pipes and other accoutrement.. but really.. just go to Bernal Heights collective.

Meh. Not impressed whatsoever.First off, the guy at the front desk didn't check my card or ID. I said "Hey, i'm a first timer".....waved me right in. I was first greeted by a crackhead in ski goggles dancing in the "lobby". Their prices were good, their bud was decent(nothing special), all their product is sealed and un-smellable and it makes you think of a check cashing department. very easy to find, but very forgettable and nothing that WOWed me.Biggest con:Not able to smell or get a good look at anything except the sealed(crushed) packagewon't be going back...

The Green Door is a great place to get your medication but they are very rude to their customers and their bags are always light.  I always weigh my purchases and for the past few years every time I weight them the bags are light and its not fair because when you call and to talk to them about the issue they just get mad and hang up on you.  Their merchandise and the location is great but the people who work there are very rude and their bags are always light.

Great Prices that can't be beat for top notch strains. $90 for a quarter of high quality medication is amazing during these rough economic times.

It's an on ok place to score some weed, been here a few times now, in general the prices are high and few deals. Staff did a poor job during the signup process, like they were half awake and didn't even see me or listen to me.  Budtenders here are hit and miss, some of them know their stuff, some don't, professionalism varies.  Place could use some airconditioning.  I will go back here once in awhile, mostly to the hash section in the back.  Seems ghetto compared to Sparc and not very pharmacy-like.  Good indica selection.  Good 420 deals also.

This is my favorite dispensary in SF so far.  The actual dispensary area is pretty basic and at first glance, seems kind of bland and unfriendly because of the bulletproof glass separating the budtenders from the customers.  But, don't let looks deceive you, this place is the best source for flowers and concentrates.  First off the service is so helpful, friendly, and patient.  I've been to this spot three times now and every time the people who have helped me out have been knowledgeable about the medicine and really patient about showing me things and answering questions.  There is a separate hash bar in the back for concentrates and the budtender back there has been really helpful as well.  Second, the selection here is unparalleled - they have the 2nd place Cannabis Cup winner Candy Jack, which I think is deserving of the award.  I'm also a big fan of their purps, having tried both the Presidential and the Cadillac (my fave).  I also love the Pink Cream Soda and the Platinum Cookies.Their concentrate selection is excellent as well, I recommend the OG hash crystals, the cookies kief, the OG earwax, and the gold dust. Finally, I love their lounge!! It's a big, open, airy loft.  They keep a few windows open so I don't feel stifled in smoke.  There are all kinds of smoking accessories to use, multiple TV screens, a pool table, free wi-fi, a nice selection of cannabis books & magazines, and plenty of places to sit, whether you want to relax on a sofa or sit at one of their large communal pub tables.  Even on a busy day I never feel stifled here.

Staff Sucks!They are so RUDE especially the staff behind the windows (which is hard to hear thru them) they make you feel stupid and act like they are royalty! Another reason why is because this is the only dispensary that I've ever been to that you have to take your card and recommendation letter every single time!!!all other dispensaries just need it for your first visit and from then just your ID.....but not at the green door!!! DONT Recommend this place at all!!!!save your money and go somewhere else

OK, so Green Door feels like a pawn shop inside. They don't care if you feel welcome, the guys at the door checking cards are hostile at best, and there's glass separating you and the "budtenders"- who, for the record, are very friendly and helpful. They offset the bad vibe in here. Green Door redeems its depressing atmosphere by offering such an immense bargain selection (grams are now $16!) and accepting debit cards for a $1.25 fee. They have rotating specials and you can get a lot of product on the cheap.This isn't a boutique cannabis club. In fact, using the lounge at Green Door is about the last thing i'd like to do. However, if you work in SoMa and want to stock up for the weekend on your lunch break, Green Door is the epitome of convenience.*Try their $5 brownies and $5 pre-rolls.

cant believe this place is real. great selection, a lot of different types of hashish. the lounge is a must see! you can use any device you can dream up, theres couches, a pool table. its a really dope setting. win win win.

This must be one the most professionally run dispensaries I have ever been to. The staff are friendly and know their product. They have quality cannabis that has been professionally tested at very reasonable prices.The lounge above it is nice. They have anything you could need available. Nice couches, tables, several tv's, and a pool table. There's supposedly wi-fi, but it goes in and out. Overall a cool place. This has become my primary dispensary.If you come, let them know it's your first time. You'll find out why...

After my first visit I'm a big fan.  Fairly small area, spiffy but not fancy, no frills.  Instead of a drug-store-like counter like some clubs have, these folks are behind windows like drive-in tellers at banks.  But the place has- a huge flat-screen TV listing a few dozen varieties and prices per weight for each one- a blackboard showing prices of quality edibles, a bit pricey perhaps but delicious and effective- friendly folks behind those bullet-proof windows who'll help you decide on something appropriate- as LS L. said, cool doorfolks too, which in my experience is not universal among various clubsI was gonna list my only complaint as being the lack of items like hash oil, kief, and hash, but I now see that Sarah O has given them high marks for having these precise things, so it's probable that I misunderstood the system the first time I visited this club.But that's cool, because I'll be back, and the next time I'll ask about hash oil.  I didn't see it on the menu; but just because I didn't see it doesn't mean it wasn't there.  In any case, quality staff, excellent variety, less than a block from Moscone.One logistical caveat: cash only (no joke, some people, not excluding me, are willing to use their ATM cards at clubs).  However, there's an ATM literally next door.UPDATE: I've bumped 'em to five stars now that I realize the available variety.  Edibles, refined products of all types, friendly folks.

Geez, where do I start....... First off parking for this location is herrendous!!! hence it is the middle of downtown SF. So I arrive to a doorman who was friendly I told him it was my first time there he told me to tell the bud tenders at the window and i would get something for free for being a first timer. I'm thinking to myself oh this place seems cool...... Boy was I wrong as I approach the teller like window I am greeted by 3 females one who has so much make up on she looks like she could be Ru Paul's brother who is working at a strip club with her trashy look  not a cannabis club. The other two just plain rude and equally as trashy looking as I think to myself am I in the tenderloin ??? What ever happened to the days of hiring cool stoner chicks like the other clubs, not wanna be hookers. I try to keep an open mind and not judge on looks but they know how to prove me wrong. I ask to see the candy jack one of their cannabis cup winners and the girl proceeds to tell me how she doesn't like it and it tastes wierd. ummm...... okay. Then as I'm trying to ask for other strains she proceeds to roll a blunt as she serves me while the other 2 are sitting there eating edibles and talking shit in their skimpy clothing about some other patient that just left............ REAL CLASSY!!!At this point i'm thinking I pray to god their weed is good I got their Presidential Purp Which was small buds n dry and their Fire O.G. was hardly fire so many sticks n stems WOW  again small buds lastly I did get some candy jack against the knowledgable bud tenders wonderful recommendation and it was pretty nice. I remind them it's my first time there and she tells me I can have a free pre roll or a 5 dollar edible I say pre roll please as she looks to the other girls and asks if they have anymore pre rolls. She then proceeds light up her blunt she turns and tells me they don't have anymore.........What the **** !!!!!!!! Really as she lights up talk about insult to injury. NO OFFENSE, i honor all cannabis outlets world wide, but i found this place to be high priced and, having no wiggle room or any agent there in order to finaggle with. Also, i like my marijuana in medical, plastic jars not in zip-lock bags and baggies, not that this is a deal breaker or a pet-peeve just a post prohibition preference I have developed.I have found a shop that deals with me they way, I like... which is, personally... if you know what i mean... I suppose it could be that way at GREEN DOOR but I did not find it to be so when i visited there so I went right back to a "cool" place that I felt most appreciated in, the very first time i visited it and have since discovered that, loyalty pays off when you bring your business to the right people and it pleases me to say that the love is only getting better.So, I like the idea of a GREEN DOOR but I save money and have more dazzling cannabis flower selections to choose from at another place nearby so I shop there instead, faithfully. I don't think I've purchased any of their buds, but I went with a friend who purchased their Candy Jack and it was very tasty and lucid-feeling. You have to communicate though a bulletproof glass window, and the weed comes in the silver capri-sun pouch things.What I like about this place is the separate area for buying concentrates, which they misleadingly refer to as a "hash bar." This one isn't isolated by bulletproof glass. Lots of keifs, concentrates, and shiva crystals of all kinds. A little pricier compared to their buds, but I recall getting a good deal on the keif than it should have been-- I don't know it it was a happy hour of some kind of if the guy was just hooking it up.Definitely not the worst or most awkward club in the city. Worth checking out if you're in the area, but don't rush over.

Staff here is mellow and laid back, the budtenders are usually pretty damn sexy and are a pleasure to hand over my money too !!  The top of the line strains are MINDBLOWING usually...Im not sure whats hotter...the strains they offer, or the women serving them ! Quality is usually pretty decent, the Purple Cherry Pie i had was AMAZING, the tootsie roll treats were potent, and their hash bar is great! Although the pricing is about average, the staff are knowledgeable and accommodating and know what they are talking about if you ask for a recommendation.  Easy to reach location and I cant blame them for having the "check cashing bulletproof glass" style set up...I like thisn club and its one of the 3 or 4 that I continue to visit...Ive had a few bad buys that i regretted there so I would stick with the high grades only, and the full melt hash I like how they have the THC content and CBD levels marked on some of the hashes (try the Earwax....good stuff)Anyone that complains about this place seeming "shady" or saying its in a bad location are tripping, its not like the places is on Jones St and theres people shooting up heroin outside....its like a block from the Metreon for gods sake...are you afraid to leave your plush loft or downtown condo to score?  lmao  Get over it .....

This place USED to be good, but EVERY bag I've gotten from them lately has been way too dry. They seem small, too, although I don't have my own scales to weigh them with. OVERRATED. Go to Harborside instead, or that place across from the police station in downtown Oakland.

As far as my visit goes I feel like I was ripped off by buying a top shelf meds which turned out to be very poor quality! Waste of my money!! Showed me it in a sealed pack so I couldn't tell ..3 stars are for nice area it located in , nice staff ,  safe and clean environment.

This place is my new go to for my herbal needs when im in sf. The staff was helpful friendly and the place is well organized. We were there 420 &they were having a party. Both floors were happy happening people having a great time. I spot the prize wheel & won 24pack of pre rolls :)

This place is pretty good. They always are well stocked in the same buds and sometimes switch it up a bit. It's nice because if you find something that works for you, you can most likely get it again. The only complaint about this place I have, was the Hash Bar. I went back there to make a purchase and was a bit surprised. The employee was medicating and hanging out with about 4 of his friends. At first, they made me feel like I was interrupting them. I finally made a purchase but felt very uncomfortable. A bit rushed only because his intent was to get stoned with his buddies. A bit unprofessional but not a deal breaker, just a bit awkward. The ladies behind the counter are always very nice and helpful. The guys are always helpful and polite. I enjoy this place for the most part.

I came in here today and was amazed by the service I received by one employee named Tiara. She was polite and helpful, and gave me suggestions on what bud to get. She seemed to have strong knowledge of the tree there, and went into detail on which ones are better for the daytime and nighttime usage. I ended up getting some Indica that she recommended, and it was awesome! A lot of budtenders don't really go into detail about the strains, and I enjoyed how vividly she was explaining everything to me. I'll definitely be coming back to Green Door, and hopefully I am in her line to tell her that what she told me to get was amazing! Thanks Tiara!

Yeah, I went here and got my card so I could go to Hempcon and to be honest, Hempcon was one of the most interesting and rewarding experiences I've had recently (with the help of nuggetry.com as a guide to Hempcon). It was easy and a really comfortable experience getting my card here. The doctor was really nice. Loved it. The location is a little gnarly and the waiting room is posh, but there are random clients who storm into the room, butt in line, etc. It's overall pretty painless.

Love the green door been comin here for about 3 years they have a great selection with great prices. And I love that they have the lounge upstairs so that u can medicate and relax and do work or watch TV or whatever really. They also have a pool table in the lounge. Only reason they don't get that 5th star from me is because I still like to have my meds weighed in front of me but other then that they are awesome. If you haven't checked them out yet your missing out.

They have some of the best bud around for sure!But they have taken a very different approach on the atmosphere side of things. Its like going to the movies almost, you get it from behind a glass window. Im not saying it a bad thing but it just a different experience. Otherwise the staff is great, the bud is great, its in a great area. they have a bunch of space to work with if they ever remolded it, it could be really sick.No Tax so the prices you see are what you get, no surprises!

Fantastic Club. They have a great selection and for the most part the edibles are on point. You can still roll your stuff in there, however in an effort to comply with city ordinance you can no longer medicate inside. or within 250 feet. Please respect that as I would never want to bring any negative attention to such a great club. They do get some exceptional strains every now and again that just put you on your you know what. overall though every strain is on point. door guy is cool too always a plus.

This spot is good for quality and the other stuff too. Average prices. Wish their flower products weren't so dried out tho. Not sure how they keep it but I rarely get a fresh nug. Plus if they weigh & pack it while it's fresh it's going to weigh more than when you buy it dried up, might be getting shorted but I never checked to be honest.

This place treats me like family.... maybe because I'm there so much. Located just  a few feet away from Moscone, the Green Door has been a staple of my life here in San Francisco.Affordable prices and good selection don't often go hand and hand, but here that is just the case. The people behind the counter are friendly and always willing to give a suggestion. Don't be afraid to ask a question or two, you won't find a more knowledgeable crowd. They have a great deal of choices from concentrates, to food, to some of the best product I've been able to get here in the city.If you're looking for a warm and affordable place to get some good smoke look no further than the green door. Honestly,  this is one of my favorite spots. My absolute favorite thing about this place is the joints. Initially I didn't think my freebie preroll from my first visit would be good but it got me way in the clouds. The $5 joints never fail to disappoint in quality,  and they're far better sized than every club I've been to. The tarantulas are pricier than I what I'd usually gotten,  but once again,  I was thoroughly pleased. Worth it. The $10 joints are also great if you find the one that appeals to you. I've always gotten great flower here as well, really have yet to be let down or disappointed. The staff is also quite nice each time I go in. This is a great place for any budget or preference.

Go to place every 2 weeks.Sometimes a little busy, just depends on what time you go. Usually right before they close you get lucky.Dank..dank! ganja at a decent price, usually get a 1/4 or just two different strains.

I was going to say something about the product and service at the Green Door, but every time I think about that place all I can remember are the two smoking hot budtender girls that work there.Seriously, I was all ready to go, had my money out, knew what I wanted... then I got to the counter, saw through the reflection in the glass and ~whoooosh~ my mind went blank. That's how gorgeous they are. Worth the trip on that alone. Its kinda hit and miss though. They aren't always working. The rest of the dudes that work there look like Raiders fans... which is cool, just not as memorable.All the stuff people said up top is accurate. Its a solid club. It maybe not be the "perfect" club for each individual, but the fair prices and service combined with the blondes behind the counter push it up to 5 stars for me.

Not sure what I can say that hasn't already been said.  Though, this may be a first:  Funny story, I actually met my ex boyfriend here 3 years ago.  He happens to be a giant ass, but can't fault the Green Door for that!  The prices are fantastic and the quality of the buds pretty excellent.  I will say, some of the eighths seems a little light, but I haven't tossed one on a scale yet.  Although, I can eyeball an eighth from across the room...  I haven't yet tried their edibles, but I have purchased some extractions here and always enjoyed my haul.  Another minor complaint, the guys behind the glass could work on their customer service skills.  They're a little gruff, and I have yet to see the cute chicks other reviewers have mentioned. All that said, this is my go-to club, though, the next time some cute, tall guy who partakes asks me for my number, I'll have to give it a second thought...

I have been coming to Green Door since around when it opened back when medical cannabis was a dangerous front in a big war.  Since then times have changed and the new lounge is a great and welcome space to kick back and inhale.  Green Door has always had great options for me including some intetesting outliers such as God's Gift which reliably makes consumers say they suddenly understand everything--an Indica that encroaches deep into Sativa territory with its clear and deep highs.  Recently I had a minor issue with a receipt and they explanined the arithmatic involved with the patience of greath maths teachers.  I love these folks.

I've been registered here for 3 years and every single time I have purchased flower from here it has been a disappointing experience. I rarely end up there by last resort as I work nearby, but this instance will the the last I encounter with this "collective". They're known as one of the more popular and "upscale" clinics in SF, yet I felt their staff to be extremely rude and their shop and smoking lounge to be rather ghetto feeling. You're greeted (stared down) by a security guard outside the front door as you enter, and you're supposed to walk up to these two hooligans at the front counter. I've talked to different people every time, and each one more incompetent, faded, and downright sassier than the one before. After they throw your ID back at you, you stand in this weird Disneyland-style, roped off arrangement that's facing the budtenders who are sitting behind plastic windows. After a min. of 10 min, you go up to the window and ask whatever you want. These people hardly say a word. Do not ask for opinions or they will give you the shittiest, stemmiest, driest bud you will ever see. Not to mention it's the most overpriced club I've ever been to considering the quality of the product and facility. They have a smoke lounge next door, but no one will ever let you know that. I guess you're supposed to find out by word of mouth? But once you discover it, you have to walk back outside and talk to that grumpy security guard while he babbles something in response into his walky talky. He silently opens the door and you walk up some stairs to find a large area containing an infinite amount of stoners. Not the fun kind though, the keep to themselves and try to look tough type dab-addicts. There's a couple more security guards upstairs but they're usually too high to regulate anything, except this past experience. My roommates and I stopped there after shopping and we all put in on an 1/8th to smoke in the lounge before we went home. All three of us are members, and the both of them are regulars. As soon as we all walked in and picked a table to sit at (the only one with enough space between face down droolers), a guard comes up and says we have to go back down and check in with the front desk again. We had just been through a 20 minute ordeal trying to buy this crappy weed and now they're harassing us before we can even try it? We go out front and the security guard tries to blow off the reasoning onto the next person, as do the front desk people. We all got so tired of their incompetence and lack of reasoning for the suspision that we decided to go to SPARC to smoke (which is a walking ways away). SPARC LETS ANYONE SMOKE INSIDE EVEN IF YOU DIDN'T PURCHASE YOUR WEED FROM THEM. As soon as we turned around and started walking down the block, the security attempted to hobble down after us to say we could return to the lounge. LOL yeah right, never ever again. Never. Never ever.

I had my first visit to this establishment yesterday, and I'm impressed! The lounge (Eight4seven I believe) is GORGEOUS: several Volcano vaporizers, a couple comfy sofas, plentiful tables & a few big TVs for your Giants viewing pleasure...and a pool table?! Heck yeah!The place also has a fantastic kitchen; I really hope they find a way to put it to good use. Mario (of the third floor) mentioned the possibility of Taco Tuesdays in the near future; I really hope it happens!Street parking only took one turn around the block, btw - and there are several awesome restaurants (Oola, LuLu, and Zero Zero - just to name a few) nearby if you'd rather not drive until your medication wears off ;)Oh, I can't really speak to the prices...but if a slightly higher price keeps the lounge this pretty and sparkly, count me in!

Been coming to this collective for over six years and its still my go to dispensary in The City. I can always count on quality service, premium flowers, and I solid selection of extracts whenever I come to The Green Door. Also the four8seven lounge is such a nice addition for the patients. Nice to have a smoking lounge with space and lots areas to hang out and mingle. Annnnd you guys have a pool table, awesome. Thanks for always taking care of us patients.

Oh the quintessential Green Door post, directly following my first Greenway 420 review (and visit!). On recommendation by a professional I decided to round the corner of Howard and check this place out. I was impressed and quite frankly in awe (I was a n00b...yesterday!) and had a great first time experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. There was a wide selection of cannabis as well as edibles, quality pipes, dare I say cute baby plants, and a room for hash. I was a little overwhelmed so I decided to skip out on the lounge and instead skip home, goods in hand. I'll definitely be back but I do want to make it a point to scope out similar businesses before I settle on my favorite :) Highly recommend this place though! You won't be disappointed!You also get a free joint or edible on your first visit! Just make sure you take your paperwork, California ID, and club card with you!

This place is amazing! Steve the manager came through and was able to help my son get med's while in the ICU here in SF, for an inoperable brain tumor. Med's were very good quality and did I mention they gave this to us. Hundreds of dollars worth of med's! This place is where it is at, compassion and seriously there for the people, for the medicine and honestly after talking to over a dozen dispensaries... This is the only one who came through and did something to help my son. Parking SUCKSSSSS! Like really bad. I'd love it if they were in a better location.good deals.  loved their LA Trainwreck better then any other clubs. They have everything, a full variety of prices. So what is it quality or quanity or both?The dudes working looked tough.  They treated me very well though, like gentleman. They didn't treat my boyfriend who went before me that great. *haha giggling to self & blushing*I'd really come here more often if parking didn't suck so bad.

I just wanted to give a huge shout out to ANT B who used to work at Green Door but apparently doesn't anymore...Been coming here for awhile and stopped by the other day to check out some concentrates and was disappointed to see him gone. He always let me know what was FIRE on the menu, and was super patient with his customers..in my opinion he was one of the few budtenders at this spot who was actually chill and friendly and gave the place some swag!

Green Door  is the WORST! I was in SF on a weekend and I looked at the Weed Maps menu for this place and it said (and still does updated 1 hr ago) the Absolute Xtracts Cartridges are advertised as $25 for ..5G 500mg and $50 for 1G(which to my knowledge don't even come in 1G cartridges), and that's a pretty good price so I called and they said they had lots in stock. So I decided to go over there but had to use Lyft and it cost about $30 round trip. So I got to Green Door and ask about the Absolute and they guy at they counter said they were $43? so I showed him the menu and he said would honor the price since it was online, so he went to the back and the manager came out and said Weed Maps is third party and they don't officially use the menu. So now I'm mad ,and he finally ends up telling me he could give me 5% off, so I asked if he would do only a few for $30 and he said no because "that's what we pay for them and we wouldn't make any money". So I said thanks gave them back there little free pree roll and left, and will never go back again!!!

I used to really like this place. It used to have quality meds at reasonable prices...what happened? Ive been sold meds with seeds twice recently. Both times I brought the merchandise back with receipt and asked for some real indoor meds; both times I was given a bunch of grief over it. The quality of what is suposed to be their top shelf is subpar at best...no trychs at all. Their prices are overinflated for the quality.  I would rather go without than spend hard earned money here.

I just got my evaluation from Greenway next door, and thought there would be no better place than to make my first purchase...well next door. I've never been in a medicinal marijuana dispensary before. Foolishly I thought it would be somewhat professional. But it wasn't all bad. First off everyone here was really nice. Except the door guy. Felt like every time I talked to him or asked a question was a huge inconvenience for him, especially when I told him I was a new patient. He took my card and put it into "the computer" and gave me a rafel ticket for what I LATER assumed was for some sort of freebie? Still don't know. It was a little disconcerting to walk into a place like this and the first thing to see is three huge bullet proof windows with tiny holes in them. Granted, on the other side was all the pot and three very pretty women. I stepped aside to look at their menu...also 'cause I had no idea what to do, this was all a new and unsettling experience for me; hard to explain really. After looking at the menu a while and finally settling on one or two items (I also checked out their menu online, which they update regularly depending on their stock. Helpful.) The prices were very reasonable for what I assumed was mid quality meds. I paid $25 for an eight of their current special, and another $5 for some edibles. Now I don't profess by any measure or stretch of the imagination to be a weed connoisseur. All I know is that you imbibe, you feel the effects. Different effects by different types of weed. I would have greatly appreciated more help, unfortunately everyone was occupied by being behind bullet proof windows. Luckily I had a vague idea of what I was buying from their descriptions online. Which turned out to be very adequate for my needs, not for a lack of trying.In all, despite their [assuming] quality, and lack of interest to help me out. I'd say this place made me a little uncomfortable and intimidated. The only positive things I have to say about the Greendoor would be their selection, cleanliness, convenience, and pretty ladies behind bullet proof glass windows. The edibles were tasty...but I give that credit to the people who made them, not who sells them.I'd come back if I were in the area, but my initial impressions are pushing me to look elsewhere for a "go-to" dispensary.It should also be noted that these places have RULES. Also something I was never made aware. The door guy at least took pity on me 'cuase I was new. I had my cell phone out to look at notes I took earlier from their website, big mistake. Cell phones are a definite no no. Also sun glasses (hard since I wear transitions), hats, and bags. This compassionate care means serious business =/

Great place to enjoy a quick toke would definitely recommend this to anyone whose in the area and the herb is pretty fire so check it out.

The Green Door lounge 847 is the best cannabis lounge in the bay! I personally enjoy it because of the great environment with lots of room and mostly for the employees that keep the place clean and are friendly and very helpful like Kyle!

I love Green Door! Best cookies in the bay! They always have top shelf strains, so I always make sure I make it to Green Door when I'm in SF. The prices are good too! It's also a nice place to go to kick back and smoke..not many places offer that! The lines go quick, which is really nice if you're in a hurry. The Green Door is very consistent!

The cheapest place in the city for good quality medical.  $40-45 eighths (even had 8 dollar low qual stuff), and a decent selection of edibles & misc.  Only bad is it's all behind a glass window and you can't see what you're picking until they get it out for you.  The guys working behind the glass seemed pretty medicated, but were friendly enough - although they didn't seem intent on answering questions or giving suggestions.  Most people going in seemed to know exactly what they wanted , and were in and out , giving the place a liquor store feel.  +1 for convenient downtown location, near bart + metreon.

This place is awesome! The amount and variety of bud amazing! And to top it off they have a smoking lounge! And its in a really nice spot in the city so just in case you wanna wonder around those parts medicated, which is nice

I've been going to this dispensary for years!  I can't say emough mazing things about this place- the customer services is exceptional!  I don't know much about cannabis in general - the staff is very helpful in helping me selecting from their MANY products.  They even have a hash bar!It's definitely a comfortable place to go to for your medical cannabis needs!

The interior is big, but a bit dingy.  Decent selection, and a fair amount of people running the window - but doing business behind a glass window feels impersonal.  Despite what others have said about the staff knowing their stuff, the guy I bought from didn't have a clue what was what.There's a big room to smoke in, and tvs, which is cool.  However, Alternative Patient Caregivers is just a block away on Mission and while they are more of the let you in and get you out kind of place their selection, quality, and friendliness is leaps and bounds above what I found at Green Door, so I highly doubt I'll come back unless APC is closed.

This is a good quick rep up spot. Great ganj, good prices, solid service, and a primo location.However, they could put more effort into the aesthtics in order to provide a more soothing center to medicate in.Plus, the aquarium at the Natural Sciences academy is right there, so you're super stoked.

Greendoor is honestly my favorite dispensery in California. They have really good strains of concentrates and bomb strains of herb. Defenitely a wide selection of mostly top shelf. But not Too expensive either. Once I came here I never stopped coming especially with all the friendly and kine workers. Also they have a smoking zone for those who buy something get to go enjoy it right upstairs. Nothing negative for me to say about this club, you will be suprised and enlightened.

It's a great place in a great area closer to my place of business I enjoy the quality and different strands of cannabis. The employers are okay I don't see why they have bad reviews due to their service towards us customers? They're not dicks, they are just doing their job and it's business. The best part that I like about it is that I don't have to show them extra paper and all I did was show my card and ID. To me? If I had to show extra paperworks or whatever then I wouldn't bother coming.

Trees and Hash fire NO deals at a dealship tho only shakes down!know what you want an the price !

I like their Pineapple Express. I got some a couple months ago and it's been that batch I turn to when I want a very unique flavor.The parking here sucks, and the price for an ounce of top shelf could go down a bit, but it's a good dispensary. They have lots of options, and the top shelf products are always awesome. Check this place out.

I love green door for they're cannabis selection and how ridiculously blasted you get when you smoke  the platinum OG kush, which is what i'm planing on doing today. keep up the great work guys.oh, and it's a bonus that all the girls that work there are gorgeous, . . .i wonder if it's a coincidence

The Green Door is a pretty cool dispensary. Once you walk in and get checked out the bud/eddible window is right in front of you and if needed you head in the back for the concentration selection.   The 2 stars I give this place goes to there menu, its very impressive. Lots of flower selections ranging from Indica, to Sativa, and Hybrids. I usually do not dable with edibles but there selection was decent as well. Bhang bars, Cookies, candies, etc. The part about this place that I love is there concentrate selection. Lots of wax, hash, oils, kiefs, the works. I was very impressed.   The medicine I went for was the Platinum Cookies (It is very popular now a  days so I wanted to try it out) and a tarantula joint? ( I purple preroll that is rolled in oil and then rolled in keif .. I was looking for a knock out sleeper.) Overall the effects were exactly what I was looking for, no complaints there.  Now the reason there are only 2 stars is mainly because of the patient service. The atmosphere is ok but almost everyone who is working there is preoccupied with something or someone else talking about this and that just not really focused on really helping out there patients. The place is also kinda messy. I figure for being a medical facility you would dust the place a little more and wipe the counters down a couple times a day. Just a thought.   Overall the meds are great but there are great meds all around California for me its the experience I am looking for ... meh. Maybe next time would be a little better.

Had a great time on 7/10 everything was awesome vendors great. The one problem I did have was with the new male employee (who was announced) who was extremely rude to another patient. The young man(patient)obviously didn't know about the alc wipes and wiped the nail. Like an amateur yes but if you're a staff member you should never berate someone calling them a newb and dumbass over and over. He should of dealt with the situation calmly and maturely instead of trying to antagonize the guy and be a blatant dick. Sickening to see that kind of behavior at such a peaceful event from a green door staff member of all people.

So I decided to give this club a shot the other day in between classes because it is a block away from my school and I wanted to see what all the hype was about. First and foremost, I am a cannabis consultant at a collective in San Jose, so I know what Im talking about when it comes to service.This place was by far one of the worst dispensaries I have visited in recent years. Not because of the location, the selection or the atmosphere, but because of the service.It was an extremely busy day, and I understand that busy days in this industry can be hectic, but the level of compassion that was displayed by the staff was extremely low. FIrst of all, the place was way too overcrowded. As I walked into the collective to sign all of the new patient paper work, I couldn't help but notice that there were way too many people crammed in such a small area. If there is people packed inside your dispensary wall to wall, you shouldn't let more people in until the place clears out. Not only that, but there was no one working the door, so people were ultimately free to walk in off the street.Another issue I had was with the overall vibe of the place. I felt like i was walking into a trap house. Most of the staff members that i talked to were extremely rude with the exception of one of the bud tenders in the concentrates section.Being heavy into concentrates, i decided to check out what they had as far as wax and oil. Arriving at the booth in the back, I was bummed to see that there was only one bud tender helping people with their selections. They had 4 waxes on the shelf and i didnt see lab results for any one of them. How are we supposed to trust that this medicine is safe?? I ended up settling for a half gram of some blue dream crumble, because it was the only half gram they carried.All in all, I would say the only thing I really liked about this collective was its location. The smoking section was cool and all too, but I would honestly think twice about going here if you are looking for a collective that actually cares for its patients.

Only good about this spot is they have a lounge that's it. I wouldn't buy the joints there and that's probably where I messed up at doing. I bought like 4 of them and they were HORRIBLE. I mean Flat out HORRIBLE! They taste like crap and don't even burn (but in all fairness the ones I bought before that were pretty good but a different brand). I went back the next day to take the ones I had left over to exchange for another brand or something (not even asking for my money back but just something different). The guy tells me they can't exchange or anything just $2 off my next order. That made the customer service bad! Like in order to fix this issue I have to spend more? Ok then I guess....I gave the other joints back with out even trying to take them back with me and just took my $2 off BS coupon. The guy ask me "you don't want these joints your returning?". My response to him "Hell No. what part of they are horrible and don't burn you didn't understand". Like for real dude, I could have caught Cancer smoking this crap and Marijuana suppose to help reduce it lol. Basically ending up paying $45 more dollars the next day to purchase an 8th all over some BS joints they sale. Should have just took my money elsewhere from that point, but hey I'm a nice person. I'd suggest buy your dro somewhere else and just go there to burn it "IF" you need a place to burn. Otherwise just go elsewhere I know I will. They lost a loyal one today fr fr with a smile on my face .

If you have never been here its a must visit from friendly staff to security at the door the selection they have is the best but whats even better they have a lounge up stairs with sofas, flat screens, bongs, etc oh and pool table once you visit you will go no where else.

Great place!  I love the new lounge. I love the edibles too. They have every type you an think of and more. I do recommend this place.

High staff turnover! Today marks the third Oz of platinum cookies I bought that were complete garbage! Over two short years the over all quality has dropped dramatically. Oh and don't let the little girl steal your points without even offering them to YOU!

This place is great if your in the neighborhood and you need to get your medication. It is set up like a McDonalds the way they have you looking up at the menu. There isnt ever a long line. The people who work there are friendly and prices are very reasonable.  It's nice this dispensary stays open later than some of the other ones in SF.

The best part is the lounge upstairs. They have a pool table, TV's, lots of tables and vapes. Also card games, chess, and so on for you to play with while you're visiting. I would much rather spend 4 hours here than at a bar. I don't usually purchase here, just bring in my own and go right upstairs. I just think it's a great friendly place

I really really really have mixed feelings about Green Door. The overall feel of the place is slightly more negative than you'd expect. A lot of the workers there, unfortunately mostly females (not all), have bad additudes. I feel as though when a friendly customer enters and smiles, typically the employees are supposed to smile. I suppose you can't force someone to smile, but it makes a customer feel unwelcome. Consider the fact that lots of costumers are shopping for anxiety/depression and immediately are having second thoughts walking in because the place looks unfriendly. And then a review like this comes along. I'd like to add that my first time going to the lounge, I didn't know how to get in. The security guard told me they wanted to talk to me in the dispensary. When I went inside some girl at the front desk very rudely told me I need to tell them first. And then after I thanked her and left she mumbled "so annoying..." IT'S MY FIRST TIME THERE. REALLY? Now the reason I even give them 3 stars, is because their provided lounge feels quite the opposite of the dispensary. It's a big space where they provide entertainment and pieces to borrow while you're there. They have radio and tv's playing at the same time which is a bit overwhelming after a few dabs but eh. Lastly, and most importantly, flowers. They sell very very dank strains. They are worth the price. The wax selection wasn't amazing but their flowers do make up for it. My next few times going I noticed they often let you pick which baggie you want. I'm assuming that's compensating for them not scaling it in front of you, which most clubs do. So overall, go for the bud and lounge, not for wax or friendly people.

I came to the Green Door for the first time on 4/20 and it was a great experience. The staff were very nice and I had fun with the wheel! Each time I've come back, it's been a good experience esp @ the 847 lounge :p  it's a super hazy and chill atmosphere! Thank you for having a chill lounge, def my fav chill spot.

I find their prices are pretty in line with everyone else, but I love their customer service. The ladies behind the glass are always really sweet and attentive. They have my favorite pre-rolls, just 5 bucks and totally worth it. The counter in the back has hash and concentrates. They are happy to let you inspect the product and smell it. People complain about their check cashing store vibe, it's just how, you have to do this kind of business sometimes. Usually dispensaries set up like this weird me out, but Green Door is well lit, clean, and Mario, the door man is a cool guy.they keep their menu current on weedmaps so you can see what they have before going in.

I have been going to GreenDoor for a while and they always have some of the best strains in the city. The hash bar is great too. If they have it in I would definitely say go for the Candy Jack, Cadillac Purple, Super Sour Diesel, Blueberry Headband, and the Super Lemon Haze. All of the them are worth more than what they cost.The new lounge upstairs cant be beat. I live down the block but this place is worth the drive. This place and Grassroots are the only two clubs I go to.

Very quality cannibus. They now get their high end buds tested at a facility in oakland and the testing is accurate.Picked up an 8th of Platinum OG for 49 with a supposed THC content of 22%. I'll tell you this. It def. lives up to its name. A strong indica that will have me coming back to green door a lot!

This was by the far the most unpleasant experience I have ever had at a dispensary. I brought a friend of mine here hoping to show her how stress free it could be to medically purchase marijuana after she has suffered from several conditions for years. She arrived with her ID and recommendation ready to be helped only to be met with a level of incompetence and unprofessionalism that was truly appalling. The first woman we dealt with tried to call my friends doctors office but condescendingly claimed there was an automated machine that was impossible to get through. I called myself to be met with "please press 2 to speak with a receptionist". The second woman we worked with, Shelly, was fortunately intelligent enough to figure out how to press the buttons on her phone, but again claimed in perhaps the rudest tone ever used in customer service that she was unable to help us because there was no expiration date on the letter written by the doctor. The experience was a disgusting disappointment but I have to be impressed that such a raging bitch has managed to stay employed for any amount of time. Will not be returning.

So far i've reviewed a few clubs. This is my club I vist the most (work right around the corner). I feel I know this place well being as I shop there about 4 times a week. The top shelf (45 8th) is usually on point. Best consistancy in quality from them seems to come from the Granddaddys, purple haze's and purple platinum (you see them there-buy them). Outdoors stuff is 35  8th (middle level stuff is 40 8th). No clones and yes they do take Green Relief papers. Doormen are cool as bleep. The top line stuff is usually on point-the outdoors stuff ya gotta watch out for because sometimes (more often than not) its not been leeched and therefore the bud turns black and youre smoking the chemicals (being a grower) its beyond obvious the outdoors is rushed...sometimes you'll get the 40 dollar level stuff doing the same. Not often but sometimes.  There's plenty of cheap deals here as well-they use and sell the whole animal-20 buck 8th shake bags etc...which attracks the crackheads....so now the cons....Crackheads..crackheads...crackheads...oh did i mention crackheads?  Then there's the wanna be dealers and thugs.This is the type of place you'll run into more thugs than any other place...hands down. Its also clear that the majority of people going in here are not medicinal users but rather dealers. The people who run it..though cool as bleep-are all thuggish. I wouldn't be suprised if it gets robbed one day by a customer-because i'm sure most of them are carrying guns. Recently I watched as a young brother fought with the doorman about checking his ID-fighting over something YOU KNOW IS GOING TO HAPPEN is stupid-checking the ID isn't a option you idiot. He was threatning to shoot up the place. Doorman handled it like a freaking pro-much props-but one day he won't be there to do so.... Overall its not the best enviorment to buy bud. Not terrible,FAR FROM IT... but if youre not used to being around crackheads and thugs this isn't the place for you. The shorties working the windows are cool (and nice to look at) but will give you attitude if you dont' buy big. but that's okay because most of them have big boobies, you notice that more than the attitude...hehehehe....okay i'm shallow like that. PRO'S: They'll  buy direct from a grower. Prices are PERFECT (none of these laughable 90's prices $60 8th). Big boobied ladies behind the window!  Top Shelf is A+ quality.CONS: Crackhead clientel, outdoor grown MIGHT have chemicals on it still, thuggish atmosphere, crackheads....trust me there's alot of crackheads here. Edibles could be stronger. No clones....oh and the fine bleep Green eyed thick girl ain't working there no more..damnedit: So in the last month they've really made a effort to clean up the place. Hey greendoor...YOUR SPOT IS LOOOOOOOOKING REALLY GOOD. Clean is better. You now get 5 stars. But hey tell that rapper guy with the lazy eye that when people come up to the window-he should probably put his phone down and take our orders. Still got love for ya homie-but making us wait ain't cool dog.

Kinda shady feeling at first glance but it was very clean.  Good selection and quick service.  I hear good things about the lounge upstairs.

I love the staff and the other patrons at the Green Door. I accidentally left a bag of edibles I had purchased in their lounge and a very honest fellow customer turned it in to the manager, who saved it for me! I was blown away by their consideration. I didn't realize my mistake for hours, so i am so impressed by their integrity and honesty. There are lots of clubs in the city, but I go out of my way to go to the Green Door because of their awesome selection of inexpensive edibles. The added bonus is the awesome staff! Good people.

Dj Sleepy strain review 2.1-Candy Jack (Green Door exclusive strain. Winner of 2010 High Times Cannabis Cup)Candy Jack is one of my favorite sativa strains. Hands down. Upon opening the bag you immediately notice a heavenly limy, candy, spicy aroma to this medicine as well as the amazing, visible trichome accumulation. The taste is an equally satisfying, evolved flavor of the aroma. Using the vaporization method of delivery you really notice the wonderful candy, sweet, fruity flavor enhanced and clean (if you dont have one at home head upstairs to Green Door Lounge 847. They have several up there they will let you relax and use :-)The medicinal effects of this herb are amazing. Very clearheaded, smooth, energetic and happy, relaxed feeling that is truly healing. Great for ADHD, depression, increased appetite, anti nausea, inspiring creativity and anti stress. This strain is not to be missed if you are a patient residing in SF as this is a Green Door exclusive strain and can only be found there.

Two stars for good strains and good overall club, and a 3rd for having decent weed. But come on.. The weed is getting worse And worse10/9/13 went and got some Platinum Cookies, looked and smelled amazing but it SIZZLES AND SNAPS. It is clearly not flushed well or had something sprayed on it that did not wash off... When i get stuff like this i get a feeling they dont care about what they give their patients its all businessFor a "medicinal club" this is a joke , real medicinal weed is actually clean....waste money if you please but im not taking a gamble on Their weed ever againThe platinum cookies was sizzling like a Fuse on a firework. Gross. Will spend my money elsewhereEdit... i advise you to SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE as well. Theres quite a variety of strains better than Cookies

This is the best legal cannibis club in sf.   They have a lounge upstairs with a free pool table.  Can't beat um.  Their employees are super nice.  The line is long but goes quickly.   Plus the have a cash only line.  Just bring your I'd and license.   See you there....

So this was my first time visiting this establishment and I might not have come enough times but from the friendly staff, the great advice giving from the staff and the wide selection, I will definitely be going back. Right when I walked in the gentlemen at the front took my ID and rec and then proceeded the explain everything to me since it was my first time here. Very polite guy, got everything quickly processed and even asked me how my 4th of July was. So I went to both area to make purchases in which both budtenders gave me great advice. After making the purchase, the budtender recommended I go check out the lounge they had upstairs where I could medicate. So I left, told the security guard I was going to the lounge, went two doors down, buzzed me in. I then was able to barrow a bong with my ID and was able to medicate. It was a great atmosphere with friendly employees and patrons. Was able to relax and enjoy myself in a great environment. Met some really nice patrons. I'm not from the area but I certainly will be going out of my way to be visiting both of these fine establishments. Ended up having a really nice day in San Francisco on a day trip get away.

Green Door has some hard competition in SF with Grass Roots and Divinity Tree (to name two) are in the immediate area.I don't think their smokables can compete with other Bay Area top shelf examples but like Blue Sky (see my review) there's something to be said for a good price on mid grade for many people who don't need the best.Also, like Blue Sky they have a clone selection that's far superior to their flowers. Divinity Tree doesn't carry any of these and while Grass Roots does carry clones they're at least one or two grades down from what Green Door is offering.

This spot is easy to find off BART and they have a great selection. And they always have Candy Jack in stock!! SCORE! I have not tried the lounge area yet but I plan on it.  If you are a first timer you get a nice surprise.  I will be back...

I fucks with the GREEN DOOR I love this club right here... They got great bud and beautiful ladies... its pretty far from my house but i still fuck with it anyway... I stop goin to harborside cause of the green door best club in the bay area hands down...

Man, this place is a hole. I stopped by because it was on my way home, and I don't think I'll be back. They barely checked my ID, and once I got inside it was nasty and impersonal. The employees are behind plexiglas that muffles their voices, so forget about having a conversation or asking questions. Everything is pre-packaged, too, so you can't smell different kinds. Ugh. It was like the Walmart of dispensaries.

The reason I gave this place only a 3 star rating is because of their lack of a smoking lounge, inhospitable decor, and preweigh 8ths.  The weed is good however and is between 50 and 60 dollars an 8th.

This place is alright came here once.  Get in get out type place the security guard is a nice guy opened the door for me. Everything here is prepackaged and weight out before hand. Free pre-rolled joints for new comers.

I guess it could be better, but I had to give it 5 stars because it is my current #1 choice for Cannabis Clubs because of price/performance ratio).Why?  I buy a 1/4 a week, and their $70 Q's are often equal to $90 Q's at other clubs. Sometimes they are clearly worse, sometimes even seem a tiny bit better. Then their $20 shake bag is a great deal. Can't beat the price/performance ratio!! If anyone knows of a place, let me know.Sometimes the 1/8s they offer to you are kinda crap, but you can just look around or ask for a new bag. Once they were selling some REALLY PATHETIC sour diesel bags that were practically shake bags... so yes it is "hit and miss" but if you look at all their strains you'll be sure to find a good deal.

I have not been to the Green Door for a while as my company  moved out of the area. But the Blue Dream I got the other day  was NOT the Blue Dream of a few years ago that I use to buy at your clinic.  . No Blueberry taste at all. whats up with that?   Also saw a person in a wheelchair barely fit come guys you got to do better for the  people who really need meds

This place is pretty sketchy.  Both clients and workers are pretty whacked out or dealer types.  They made me feel like I was not ghetto enough or something.  It wasn't cool.Also,a) pretty sure they jipped me because the quantity did not seem right.b) the quality was meh, some were really good and quality, others were super dry from the start.  This was more apparent when I tried other places outI won't be going back.  Only giving 2 instead of 1 because I wasn't assaulted or anything.

Great atmosphere friendly staff utmost respect between all members this is just a great vibe. The selection was fairly small but what they did have was surely much much better then what they did not have

When going on vacation I asked one of the employees what would be a good pre boarding suggesting prior to going through TSA and this one very kind gentlemen (black with his nose pierced) suggested the lollipops and boy did they help!!!! He knew just what to suggest!! I recommend you find him if you are traveling and would like a good suggestion it recommendation!!

been coming to this dispensary for over three years now.. at first they had all the hot girls with shit loads of make up and ass showing every time they would turn to get you your medicine. they expect you to tip them. thats why they flaunt their dollar bills all over the window and dress like hookers.. half the time theyre too darn high to even remember what flowers you ask for!!! they have given me wrong change numerous of times!! im talking about 50 freaking dollars(alicia)!! or they dont give you your medibles.. chelley was for sure one great budtender who knew her strains !(bring her back)! no more hot girls work there... :) but now they have dumb girls working there. its such a shame. i was so loyal to this dispensary at first because their og kush is usually amazing and very medicinal.. lately they have dry medicine , overpriced, and thugs muggin you from left to right. its turned into a trap house, in the hashbar the guys who run it are a huge mess. they "hook" up their "homies" and "hot girls" it is ridiculous. i spend about 250 a week here when i started coming and never have i been appreciated not even with a cheap honeys cookie. it is true this place is the mcdonalds of dispensaries.the girls who work the window are not budtenders.. they have zero knowledge about the flowers and genetics , it is so sad to see this place go down after all the hype. the workers need more training which should be provided , im sure they would be open to it.  last but not least. there are people who actually use the herb for medicinal purposes and i look for budtenders who know their flowers and effects, this is something serious... this place is a trap house with young people making a mess, i would not be surprised if this dispensary gets closed. i also would not be sad, i am glad to say barbary coast two blocks down this trap house, barbary has everything a real connoisseur/patient  needs. sad to say but the green door is now t r a s h and the patients are starting to realize. slowly but surely they will see it.  ( gave it one star bc i couldnt leave it blank.. but really its a zero star)

In my opinion green door has the biggest bang for your buck and they sell bulk, alot of collectives I visited you can only buy grams or 1/8 ths but you can buy ounces of your favorite strain for a good price there menu has a scale so low grade is available the staff is very honest and helpful about quality and what your looking for the very best flowers they have are never more than 50 an 1/8th, they have a huge selection of edibles my favorite by far is the chex mix its only five bucks!they have alot of five dollar edibles and at other prices the menu changes frequently but you can expect good medicine everytime and they have some things that are always on the menu. Definitly one of my faves I highly recomend.

I do not like this place.  Establishments like this are why medical marijuana is often not taken seriously.  Sketchy people outside who are definitely into more than just  marijuana and also look like they may mug you at any point.  Most of the 'budtenders' are young, pretty women who dress like Hooters girls.  Not kidding - OBVIOUSLY wearing very tight/low cut tops to get tips.  This place is disgusting.

this was the first shop i visited on my trip to san fran. you didn't have to fill out any paperwork which was nice and they give a free edible as a gift to first time patients, however other shops had way better quality edibles.bud selection was so/so. their strongest indica was some grand daddy purp and coming from LA, that's kinda laughable but we were told to expect a lot of purple in nor cal. everything was pre-weighed which was what i encountered at every shop up here. i guess to get patients out quicker but i would like to see my buds weighed out in front of me. you never know who is going to short you. parking is limited so its easiest to get dropped off/picked up because there tends to be homeless people lingering in the front of the shop.

The green door is my spot, I always come here for my meds! I love the variety & incredible menu and quality. Not to mention the Hash Bar in the back which is my favorite. It's ran by great people & the service is always perfect too.

Awesome bud for a reasonable price. The edible selection is one of the best I seen. The cotton candy is just perfect. The reason for only four stars because it's really hit or miss with the employees. There's a girl who checks people in and is just so friendly and always makes sure to tell you bye and have a good day when you leave. Some of the bud tenders though seem really annoyed and like they don't want to be there. I like to take my time in deciding what to buy and some of them make me feel rushed. Like a while ago I went to the hash section and I asked the guy what were som good indica waxes. He said one of the most expensive grams and that was that. Didn't say why he liked it or anything and I even had to ask to see it because he didn't show me at first. However I went in today with a friend and the guy behind the counter seemed to really know his stuff and was paitent and nice when I was having trouble deciding what to get. The lounge is just absolutely incredible though with a nice selection of bongs and a lot of room to chill. And even a bathroom which I don't think any other lounge has.

Part of me wants to give this place 4 stars, but I had a pretty bad experience there.First... the positives of this club...+1 star for being downtown, in an easily accessible location, without being full of out-of-towners. Many burners that live downtown and know their stuff go here.+1 for letting people blaze inside and having cool bar-style counters and a nice, small, smoky room to light up in. Oh, the perks of being in the club.+1 for having alot of cool photos of the owner with celebrities all over the place. He's managed to harness the high-culture clientelle. Haha.+1 for having 8 dollar eighths as "the cheap weed". WTF... even if the product is crap... it's probably worth eight dollars. Does anyone know if it works at all?+1 for having a decent selection of product for a small club, and a decent staff to distribute that product.Now, -1 star for me almost getting in a fight there with some huge, mean, coke dealer type and them turning the other cheek. I was there ready to blaze with a friend, so he was rolling a bleezy in the corner, and I was checking out all the photos. I wasn't even close to this guy rolling his joint on the counter, I was just looking past him at this photo. This guy stood up, got right in my face, and told me I was too close and to back the fuck off, then called me something racist. I'll give you a hint: It starts with c and rhymes with slacker. So I told him to chill the fuck out, and we exchanged some harsh words, seemingly shit was building. The staff did absolutely nothing. I was rescued by another stoner in the building, who came up and told the guy to sit down and smoke and relax, and kind of got between us. I've seen that nicer guy like alot in clubs since then, he rocks, but that whole fiasco was uncalled for. So they lose points for having a bad ambiance.This place is worth a try. Bring your tazer to fight off BIG's twin when he starts shit with you though.

I felt like I was doing something wrong coming to this place. I dunno, the machine, the security, how hidden it is. The experience made me feel pretty uneasy. If you live close it's a great and fast option, but it's not for me.

I love this place! It just gets better and better and I just get higher and higher! Customer service is just as good as the trees and even just as fresh with the over all vibe. Legalize it and I will advertise it!!! Yeah mon...

This place rocks! I was not sure what I was expecting when I came in, but it certainly wasn't this. It has such a pleasant atmosphere and the people here are hella chill! It was just the best way to end such an exciting day in the city! If anyone is looking for a good high and a good time in the city they should definitely come here!

When i first entered, there was a guy I had to verify my medical status with. It was really quick, just asked for my ID. Then next I am led to another room with a small line. Customers were a mix of homeless looking people and ghetto looking people and the whole place looks like a check cashing place. The counter was covered with a thick glass, there was a couple of budtenders behind. The menu is above the counter is on a big flatscreen. There highest price of top quality buds are only 45$ with tax, so thats where I gave most of my stars. I bought an eighth of Bubba kush, the buds looked very dank and smelled like heaven. The potency of the bud, i would rate 8 /10.  They had a pretty decent selections of high grade strains like hollywood kush, OG kush and Gorilla grapes.My advice: dont buy the edibles, atleast not the brownie that i got. I ate 1 whole and waited all day to get high, sadly I didnt even get a slight buzz.

They have a great selection of everything from herbs to edibles and even a hash bar in the back.  They got a reputation for having the best prices and I can definitely vouch for that.  They really got a lot of stuff for a small place.  Be sure to check out some of their accessories.  my only complaint about this place is that they're in downtown where the parking situation is always horrible, but hey what can you do about that right?  I like this place enough to make the trip down there.

Shake really looked like oregano. But hey you get your 20 bucks worth. Even the 25 dollar eight of purple shake look like alfalfa or sage. it says alot about a club. If your sjake is cow dung just imagine what the whole turd is like. Cant totaly hammer this spot. Great front door service but the budtender guy seems like he needs to medicate on time. the chicks aint that hot. maybe a lil mild but Caliente, nada.

I like The Green Door because they have really reasonable prices along with a high quality selection. They're $20 1/2 1/8ths and super chronic 8ths are what keep me coming back. They're $5 & $10 edibles are on hit too. If you haven't been to their new lounge and hash bar it is a must!! I highly recommend this dispensary. The workers are very nice and chill as well.

I recently left a 4 star review of this dispensary, but since then they have actually added extra security staff that make me feel like; if I was to encounter another transient trying to hold parking spots to make a quick buck out front they would be able to quickly shut that crap down. Honestly the green door is and probably always will be the best in the bay area especially in the downtown sf location.

Green Door is one of the best Dispensaries in San Francisco if not the best. They have a large selection of strains for all price ranges and the quality of their bud is extremely high grade, pretty much anything you leave with you will be happy with. They also have a large selection of edibles varying in potency and flavor. The thing I like the most about the green door is the new lounge which is huge, clean, and comfortable. It has multiple plasmas couches, tables, pool table, and all the smoking accessories you need to medicate from vol vape to bong.

In a decent area and a nice menu & staff.  Setup is kind of weird - I kind of felt like I was at a bookies placing a bet on the horses.  Didn't get a chance to see their other two rooms (a chill room and a concentrates room), but it's nice bonus that it's there if I need it.  The one big issue I have is that the buds are pre-packaged and the packages aren't pulled out at the bottom to leave room for the buds, so the bags actually smush the buds a little.  They did give me 5 bags to choose from, so I got to pick my favorite looking one, but like I said, they were all smushed.  I'd recommend this place to my friends that aren't too picky of how the buds look as long as they do the job and to any friends concerned over how safe the front of the store looks because The Green Door does keep it looking nice and safe out front.

I was contacted by management at the Green Door and they let me know that the cookies was from a reliable vendor and was put on the shelf, and right when they found out about the butane they took it off the shelf. I just got lucky and happened to pick it up when it was put out. I thank the Green Door for their professionalism and for accommodating me for my purchase. Many KUDOS!!!

This place is legit. Feels like I was walking into a bank. They have really good trees! Bought some Grandaddy Purple, and the bud looked liked candy. So Frosty and purple! Prices are justified here.  Very nice! Will be back.

Green Door always has the fire. The prices aren't that bad either, $45.00 for a killer eighth. They have prices to accommodate any budget. Employees are pretty friendly too. People complain about the product being preweighed but I have never been shorted and they let you open the bag and look at it before purchase. The parking situation is the one thing that sucks here.

The green door has the most fire around. Their platinum cookies is always on hit n the other cookie strains are too (thin mint etc). They're fruity pebbles edible is on point n they have good concentrates. And all the women there are bad!!

Thee best place to go, the staff always there to assist with any question or concerns. The hash bar unlike any other. 3rd floor is a must. Parking in the alley is free if u find a spot but only an hr limit.

I'm a major fan of the Green Door! It's meds and staff have always treated me supremely. I do have to agree that parking is virtually non-existent, but the City allows double parking so...go online, check out the menu and you'll be in and out in no time flat. The budtenders have always been personable and helpful when necessary. I work here in the City and find it convenient to stroll to the Green Door during my lunch hour. I've tried dispensaries in SF, Oakland, Hayward, LA and San Jose. The Green Door-SF is my favorite. I bring my shopping list with me- the budtenders giggled but thanked me for being organized. What more can I say- I'm a Fan and will frequent GDSF as often as possible.

I just moved here from Los Angeles and had always heard how potent and inexpensive the cannabis is in San Francisco and this club definitely reflects what I have heard. Their price cap is $45 - 50 for an 1/8!  In LA, you'd pay 60 bucks for similar quality and at some clinics $70 or more.  I was also very impressed with their Irish moss drink...delicious!  If you have a green card and are around the area, it's definitely worth checking out.

Picked up some fire Bubba for a very reasonable price. And no tax.

The Green door has really improved in the last couple years! There is a new patient lounge which is supposed to be THE best place to medicate in the city. The budtenders are behind thick glass, which I don't care for, but the good aspects of the club make up for it. They have a hash bar with more than 20 kinds of hash and kief, and some good deals to be had (i got 2 grams of og crystals for about 20 bucks).As for the buds.....Nice variety, some real top notch strains like "girl scout cookies"  over 20% THC, HOLY COW! Great selection of purples, for as low as $150 an ounce. The edibles range in potency from relatively mild to knockout, but all of them are delicious. I really like the s'mores bar and fruity pebble treat, but be warned, you may need a glass of milk to go with them because they are very sweet and rich.This club just keeps getting better and better, definitely one of the best in the city. Maybe the best, now that they have a lounge and hash bar.(UPDATE):It said on their website that you could get some free weed if you reviewed them on yelp then brought in a copy of your review. I went there today and brought my review, and they told me the promotion ended. That sucks! Fortunately, the girl working behind the glass was cool enough to give me a free sack anyway! THANK YOU! Just when I thought the green door might disappoint me, they came through with the free purps. This place really is awesome! Unfortunately, I was there after closing time, so I still haven't seen the lounge. If they were cool enough to give a guy free weed even though they  were closed, that makes up for any negative qualities I listed above. 5 stars!

well there are only two clubs that i frequent often and The Green Door is one of them! Great amount of different medicine for a decent price, plus i'm some great edibles! I highly recommend the ear wax, bought a half gram for 20 and was VERY happy with my purchase! The doorman and Staff are very helpful too, they will recommend the medicine you need, not just what is most expensive which i like. Keep up the good work Green Door!!!

The Place is great and straight to the point. they dont mess with alot fo cheap baby nugs. All prices are as is and no suprises. Come here for my top shelf and the service and feel of the place is pretty cool and warming will be coming again thanks for the help.

Came here on a whim one day cuz i heard about the hash bar, and wanted to brag to my buddy back home in the OC that yes, hash bars do exist. Walked in, got kind of weird vibes from the guy who checked my recommendation but whatevs, he was nice about it being my first time there. Walked up to the window, and asked the girl if they had any kief and she was super nice!!!! She was like "ohh we have really great concentrates in the back!!" so I walked around back to the "hash bar", got some white widow kief that has been a pretty great addition to every bowl ive sprinkled it on top of!!yaaay. overall it was kind of a weird experience at the green door...i think it has something to do with the bulletproof glass.... i might come back to check out their bud if i'm in the area.

Yesterday I made my first visit to the Green Door, and what I wish to write follows.  Upon entering I was met by a rather cordial and amiable assistant who processed my information in order for me to become a member, and while I waited and sat and wrote, other clients entered and left, all being friendly and polite.  Some even gave me a pleasant hello.  That made me feel good.  Green Door was not teeming with clients on this early Sunday eve, so after I completed my paperwork and read the guidelines as a member.  I went to one of the windows to be greeted by another welcoming employee.  I pulled out my short list as to what I'd wanted to purchase but wound up spending under $20, which at this time was all right with me.  As a new client I received an item of choice: a cookie which turned out to be a wonderful med after I took a reasonably small portion.  I noted the boards on which the menu had been listed.  Mighty impressive, indeed.  I will be returning to obtain the other med regimen of mine.  Thanks all!  Many thanks for making a positive and encouraging and inviting impression on this first time client.  I am indeed a fan and definitely will be returning.  [7.17.16]

Very clean, and very straight forward. Their menu is very easily read on the multiple flat screen televisions, and there's always a good selection at pretty reasonable prices. I've also heard good things about their lounge upstairs (might even have wifi.) I've never had a bad experience with any of their workers. They've always been very nice, helpful, knowledgable, and some of them are pretty easy on the eyes too. This place is definitely worth checking out.

Great location, selection and prices are fair. Really laid back inside, friendly people to help you. I also really liked there were no registration forms to fill out.They don't offer yoga or anything fancy but for a quick in and out to get your meds its a great place.

Overall this is one of the best dispensaries in Northern California. I lived in Humboldt county down to San Francisco and everyone has their flaws. It's a business and for that matter I think they do well. The Girl Scout cookies is very good one of the best.

I'm a green door patron, I don't think you can beet there consistancy of quality. they always have good cookies or a cheap cherry pie but all the flavors they have always give me the variety i like. The parking has never been that bad for me, if its full I just go around the block once or twice and there's always a spot opening up. As far as costomer service, I don't expect them to pull out the rug for me. Considering some the cannibis clubs I've been too, they are definitely not weed nazis like I've seen before.

Green door has a great selection of medical cannabis and offers a great environment for the patients. It is a great place to come relax, shoot some pool and get medicine! I recommend Green Door for all clients.

Can't say enough good things about these guys. Friendly service, huge quality selection and that patient lounge simply wow. It is by far one of the best environments for a patient to find safe access to their medicine.

i'm always greeted with smiles from helpful & friendly staff - even the door guys cool. i mos def recommend LACED CAKES edibles. fudge, cookie sammiches, cupcakes, muffins, caramels ...super strength!! not allowed to medicate on site anymore but there's a massive flat screen to prolong lamp'n (if necessary). parking can be tricky if you visit on weekends. oooh and their purple selection is amazing!

This is the first club I visited after getting my doctors recommendation letter last week and I was not that impressed. The atmosphere is not that friendly. It's like visiting an inmate in prison with the thick glass in between you.  They have a large variety of bud and there prices are very reasonable but the quality is not the best. I would suggest this place if your low on funds and want a deal. You can pick up a 1/16 for $20-$25 you can't beat that!!! Some of my favorite bud from this place is green crack and blue dream and my favorite concentrates are Og Kush Crystals and Og Kush oil, they will blow you mind!!!

They removed their menu for concentrates on the internet which led me to call them to see if they had a particular item in stock. Asking them if they had their popular product of hash called "Ear wax" I was put on hold for ten minutes. This was unacceptable for me. You would think the so called manager would be aware of the availability of their products, especially one so popular as ear wax . Sorry green door you lost me as a customer.

I am a true stoner and marijuana connoisseur. I have visited The green door for their high quality buds with reasonable prices (platinum og, gs cookies, platinum cookies, cherry pie, and caddilac purple). Also the gold dust concentrate is great for those with a super high tolerance like myself. I usually am never dissapointed with the meds I receive from TGD, however, A few day ago I purchased an 8th of platinum cookies. THE BATCH I GOT WAS NOT FULLY DEVELOPED AND HAD 7 SEEDS I PLUCKED OUT.  AND I THREW OUT THE NUGS WITH YELLOW WHITE HAIRS. It was disappointing I love green door and now I feel like I'll need to thoroughly inspect buds before I buy. DISSAPOINTED cuz green door was my spot before.

I've been coming to the green door for my medicine for years. It is by far the best dispensary in the state. They routinely have the best quality medicine in the city. The menu is diverse and they seem to always have something new I've never heard of while always having my favorite strains available as well. The prices are generally right on par or slightly lower than most other cannabis clubs in the city. The purchase experience is always quick and easy. They have 4 bud tenders on the clock during peak hours so the line moves fast. The menu is clear and precise. My favorite thing about the green door is the Lounge8four7 upstairs. After you've purchased your medicine you can request to go upstairs to enjoy the lounge and your meds. The lounge is the largest and best equipped lounges I've visited. They have 6 large square tables, an area with leather crutches and an area with a pool table. Nearly every table has a volcano vaporizer available for use. They also have plenty of clean bongs and pipes you can use after you submit your drivers license as a deposit. They also have rolling papers and grinders available but they usually don't have joint rollers anymore so you need to bring your own or be good at hand rolling. They don't permit the use of tobacco product which I appreciate. So if you are looking to blaze a blunt or a spliff this nights not be the place for you. They are never lacking in entertainment either. There are 6 or 7 big screen Televisions to watch. Sometimes each tv is tuned to a different station and sometimes if there is a baseball or football game on they will all be on that station. Sometimes in the afternoon they turn the volume down on the tvs and play music on the sound system. Everyone I've ever met at the lounge has been nice and social but you can also keep to yourself if you prefer. I've never had a bad experience at the Green Door or Lounge8four7. If you are looking for the best meds in the city and and a safe place to consume them look no further.

The green door has to be one of my favorite medical dispensery here in the downtown location, the staff is always in such an amazing mood and are always very welcome to there guest that walk into the doors. Since I have been a member of this club, they have never seemed  to fail me when it come to there huge selection of flowers, must I add that the quality of the flowers is out stand. With all this being said the green door is by far the most organized, clean and very welcoming clubs around!!!

the best in the bay!  huge selection of cannabis edibles and tinctures.   priced fairly inexpensive compared to the east bay.  nice room up stairs for smoking or vaporizing.  they lend out pipes, bongs and vaporizers for use there.  water, drinks, vending machines, pool tables and books. a few couches and tables.  nice hard wood floors and big screen tv's.  pet friendly, wheel chair access.  friendly staff.  highly recommend this club.

Polite,plentiful, and when an edible is not available their is always something comparable. Concentrates  are very good from pixie sticks to tarantulas, and sky rockets. I hope I have the chance  to try all the concentrates. Koto a 51/50 is my favorite edible and item. I do not smoke as much but a little goes a long way. Thank you.

The Green Door is the only club I really go to because I know I won't have to spend more than 45 to get some high grade weed. And now they have half 8ths which I LOVE b/c I like to get at least 2 different strains. Everyday the menu is different but they have their usual strains like granddaddy, gorilla grapes, hollywood kush, etc. They also have really good edibles and a good variety. The staff doesn't know much about the weed unless they've been smoking it. Cons about this place are that there really isn't any parking at all since it's on howard, so you can expect to double park, get a ticket, or park hella far. You get in and out though, it's quick...unless you're there at that time of day where theres hella crackheads. Watch out for them. Also all their weed is already bagged and I think sometimes it doesn't weigh out right. Regardless this is my usual spot.

my favorite club in the city....they always have consistent great quality buds, and the lounge is the coolest one in SF. gotta try the candy jack, cadillac purple, super lemon haze, pineapple express, plat. cookies to name a few...also try the milk chocolate Bhang bars and the Reverse dip Korova cookies!

this place is the BOMB! candy jack is the best sativa EVER! hash prices are reasonable and always a great selection. last year i bought my friend 38 different kinds of hash and buds for his birthday...39 this year yay!

I made my first visit to the Green Door this past weekend on Sunday midday. As I was looking for the "store" I saw a line of people waiting and quickly realized they were lined up to get in. I thought it was going to take awhile to get in and debated whether to find parking or not. Since I live out of town I decided to give it a try and found parking and as I walked up to the front door I was surprised how fast the guys at the front door validated id's and controlled people going in and out. Very efficient and quick. As I walked in to the store I quickly saw they had different rooms hosting different products ,with the main room you enter having a very efficient purchase window where the person behind the glass showed me many different varieties and their effect and benefits, etc. Selection is excellent as is the packaging. Buds and premiums come to you in a sealed foil type pouch and shake in strong bags. Very well organized and efficient and friendly staff. Scores a 5 for me.

45 8ths ALL DAY. 175 halfs 345 zippers. what else can you ask for. selections like : silverback grapes, gorilla grapes, grand daddy purple, purple urkle, platinum purple. they are the best. sometimes the daily special is good, but i would rather go HIGH GRADE. i see people buying shakes and that lower standard shit. it gets me mad. you need to enjoy yourself and relax and medicate not smoke like cigarettes. staffs friendly. never had an issue. they're undergoing construction or something but still open. this club beats the others.

I worked with Ken Estes in Oakland a few years back and at 1727 Telegraph we had the same problems that the green door has,that is youngsters waiting for their friends to score double parking and alot of the clients are quite frankly ghetto but overall still hella nice.When asked to follow rules, most will, some wont.Everyones behavior does effect everyone. I am never going to forget the parking lot that we just could not control next to the ice rink.The medicine in GREEN DOOR is generally consistent and at the right price. Face it the growers charge alot because they can get it from either the private sector or go to LA where the dumbys pay to much.The door man is very professional unlike some of Kennys boyz in the hood. Free WI_FI next door at deli..Mike the owner has the humboldt and mendo connects I know I have seen them coming and going and recognize them. The people who transport the medicine are true risk takers still since the CHP is not cooperative.One must get paid for taking risk.

the green door is not like san jose clubs, visually. the bud windows are like late night gas station windows, but im not complaining. i kinda like it to be honest. theyve got good bud, if you get a chance their Candy Jack is to DIEE FOR. They also always have "green tag specials" which are nice if you dont have too much, or want to spend most of your money at the hash bar.  The hash bar is our favorite place though. especially when Anthony is working :) hes the best. he convinced my boyfriend to try their Amber Glass (concentrate) for his first time and he was hooked. we prefer concentrates over bud, and they have an excellent collection. their ear wax is the best though! also if youve never had a taranchula(joint with hash rolled in oil than keif, than weed), a pixie stick(compressed hash, rolled out really thin than rolled into a cylender, looking like a straw) , or a sky rocket(one use glass pipe thing with weed and hash in it), than you gotta stop by just for one of those! if youre lucky youll find meter parking on the left in front of the collective, but if not theres a parking garage just around the corner on 5th and mission (i think) thats not too far and worth the walk.We'll see you soon green door!

I've been here a few times mainly because its close to where i work. Every time i go there there is this terrible girl who literally never stops talking to her coworkers. Once she was even chatting to the customer next to me about what dance club they were going to hit up later. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I have never been impressed with the service here mainly because i always get served by this girl. The selection is pretty good but they do not label their stuff indica or sativa which i find annoying. Although i like that they have a little head shop in the back and a very nice area to smoke upstairs with various bongs and vaps. They also pre weigh their stuff too which is annoying to some people including me.

Always have the top of the line buds. Just got some Cadillac purple the other day... Absolutely amazing

i'm a fan of this place.  the prices and selection are great and the sight of the beautiful brunette girl behind the counter with the gorgeous eyes aaaaaaaaaaaalways makes me smile.  she's so pretty.anyway... lots to choose from, i recommend the pie's.  they surpass the realm of pot food and are actually delicious too.-1 star for the drab interior.  the only real decorations are pictures of the owner with some B and C list celebrities.  fill the place up with plants, paint a mural on the wall, bring the folding tables and chairs back to the conference room they were taken from.

They offer quality medicine (best in the city... I think) at affordable prices and the staff is super friendly!  If you ever have questions about the best medicine for your particular ailment, they are more than happy to help.  I always have a fulfilling experience when I get my meds here. I can't recommend this place enough.

First of all, I have been to many clubs in San Francisco.  It's good with selection but customer service is really bad.  The club is big and there are bullet-proof plastic separating you from the person collecting your money and giving the weed.  However, the only thing the girls behind the bullet-proof know, is how to dress like they're going to work the streets.  Also, it's hard trying to ask questions when you have to speak thru the holes in the plastic and there are fans on everywhere.  The girls are not professional or knowledgable and would rather talk with each other.  I personally don't like to speak loud for other's to hear but there isn't any other way to talk with the girls behind the counter.  The only place I go now is the Love Shack.  Kinda small but really good people working there.  No rush or rudeness, just friendly knowledgable service.  I think that the Green Door should hire some more mature budtenders because it's really frustrating talking to someone there who doesn't seem to listen or is rude (maybe too high).  Get rid of the ghetto trash and higher better quality people.

I've been here probably close to 60 times, at least. I bought a trippy stix vapor pen over a month ago. I had an issue with it, they replaced the pen, no questions asked. I'd had the pen for a month and didn't have a receipt, but they took care of me. A couple weeks later, I was cleaning the vapor pen and I accidentally pushed the heating coil in, making the pen inoperable. So, I went back to Green Door and explained that I broke the coil, and was willing to purchase another part at my cost. Instead, the guy at the hash bar replaced it at no cost, and even upgraded it to the XL version. What more could I ask for? Like I said, I've been going here consistently for about 2 years, and I've never had a bad experience here. Their bud is good, and they're the only club I know of that carries Trippy Stix, which are awesome. Thanks for taking good care of me Green Door. Much appreciated.

Yo i will admit i have literally been to every club in the city. I USED to go to Mr. Nice Guys but Obama shut them down. Since then i have been going to The green door. The setup is ok ,prices are decent. But i didnt like how the staff wasnt knowledgeable on the medicines. It seems they are going for sex appeal at the window rather than the needs and concerns of the patients. When i asked simple questions in regards to the products the only response i got from the girl was it will get you high.........it will get you high. 2.5 star

so i have been a member of green door for about 2 years now and never once was dissapointed with any type of service nor medicine from them. They have always taken my trip to the club SO much more than it is, just going in and gettin weed, but to a friend status and ability to conversate with them is a plus. Another thing is now that they have the Smoking Lounge upstairs i can actually sit inside and burn they best bud that they provide. I Really ejoy this club and am very loyal to this club in all aspects of it, (weed, ediblesm hash, etc.), IF someone were to ask top 3 clubs in sf, definitley you will catch GREENDOOR in that top list....Sincerely Chrisopher Lazalde

they lie, on there website they had a posting saying that if u write a good review they give u a free 1/2 8th and when i came on 420 they said they dont do it anymore when just the day before and that day it was on the website. and they said for 420 u get a free pre roll n i didnt get anything. i felt so played!

I have been frequenting this patient's cannabis club for almost 3 years now. I went to S.F. and did not like the previous 3 clubs I visited. Very weak strains and small inventory and selections. I am an Indica person and the weak sativas don't cut it. I took a chance on the way out of S.F. on this little place on Howard St. It was the Green Door. I noticed that the patient is very important and prioritized so. Staff are friendly and prioritize patient satisfaction above financial gain or being selective with certain patients as we have all seen at places from time to time. The old Hayward clubs were very notorious for holding back high grade strains for certain patients. I weigh my 1/8 or 1/4 every time and out of 3 years of being a customer at 2 visits per week, I have been shorted by no more than .2 only very rarely. 3 times that I can remember out of over 300 visits. Very good quality and selection. Extremely high grade Kush/Purple  varieties as well as edibles. 45 for 1/8 or 90 for 1/4 at the most. There are 1/8ths for 25.00-35.00 depending on the grade. They even have specials as well on certain days. The staff are very patient oriented as I mentioned and will go out of their way to make a customer happy. I have been to many clubs and have been smoking for 26 years and never sampled Kush or Purple varieties even up North in Mendocino and Humboldt Counties. The prices are the reflection of the mission statement of this club. Provide very high grade medicine at an affordable cost with the patient as the priority at this location. I go ever other day I get two quarters of their girls scott cookies.I have been to alot of clubs in the bay area...but my green door have thee best ever...any grade you like they got,& try the cookies&popcorn...yes Iam  giving them100 my best review because they got the best goods in town...so go check out the green door fuck all the others they got the goods.....purple,kush,animal cookies,platinum cookies,train wreck,etc....go see them asap :-)

super chill club one of my favorites in the city so far. great selection of awesome bud and crazy hash/oils/ wax to. the 50 wax was fire. hot girls work there. but the smoking lounge upstairs is definitely my favorite. clean and bigass tvs. i recommend to anyone

Been to a few dispensary around the city, and this is the ONLY one that I keep coming back to. Between the service, product selection, and the cleanliness of the place, I'll definitely be coming in more often.Was able to get a PAX Era battery and pod for only $60 (though I got lucky). I forgot the name of the lady who helped me, but she (along with the rest of the staff) was very knowledgeable and informative. Favourite dispensary in SF for sure!

Why can't all dispensaries be this easy? I mean, I do love the way that they're run in San Diego but after visiting Green Door the process down here seems like such a production. I know, I know, I'm sure local laws have a lot to do with it but Green Door is setup for a very efficient experience. Though I've never been a customer before, I was checked in and shopping about two minutes after walking through the front door. While the selection didn't seem to be massive (they were out of a few different products) the staff was quick to suggest a few replacements that did me well. The prices include tax and my two visits only ended up costing me $20 and $22 respectively. So did I sleep well? You bet your ass I did!

I went in today to purchase a variety of products and wanted to use some of the points I had  saved up but was told that I don't have any points. I was told that since Covid, they cancelled everyones points?What a rip off. The Green Door is shady and dishonest. I wont be returning and will be using there competitors from this point onward and will not recommend this place to anyone. (Unless I don't like the person, that way the Green Door can rip them off too!)

The womxn working here are hella kind. I've only experienced them as bud tenders. And just overall positive customer service. But the two bigger fellas? They either co own the place OR work is an extension of high school where cus they allow folks to cut in front of you during check in, shooting the shit w fellow older dudes while you're waiting to pick up. Like no one is going here like that anymore. Dudes got to treat everyone w respect. Not just your homies.

Absolute worst selection ,or more rather lack of any selection , get an item in that sells they let run out and months later may get item back in stock .. use to be a great dispensary now is the worst

Green Door man.. what happened to y'all?! I remember pulling up to the green door back in 2013 with my med card and buying some of the FINEST platinum jack flower, man their selection used to be TOP of the line, even rappers used to come in and even rapped about the green door, now the selection is HORRIBLE. No idea what happened to this place, kinda fell off the map?.. not all good things last forever I guess.

We were in town for vacation and initially stopped because it was on our way to the hotel but ended up coming back because the staff was friendly and the selection was to our liking.

Great vibe, prices, staff, and variety.I haven't used their website but they do have their menu up and it says you can order online for express pickup/delivery.I've only been here twice but highly recommend it. As of now hours are MON-SUN 10AM-8PM

I recently came here on a date with some guy I met on Facebook.We were in the area for the Folsom Street Fair, and he needed some refills for his vape pen. When he asked me which dispensary I recommended, I suggested Green Door.The way that I tried to describe The Green Door to my friend was this: they don't have a huge selection, but you can trust everything they carry. (He still complained that they didn't have a big enough selection, though, sigh.)Our budtender was super friendly. Since she happened to have tried a bunch of the cartridges herself, she was able to give us her honest opinion. She also recommended a couple of pre-rolls.At only $25 for a full gram, I thought the cartridges were fire. While we weren't as impressed by the pre-rolls, they weren't bad for $5.Overall, the menu may be short, but all of the products they carry are well-selected.

Great store, cool staff, nice product. Not as pretentious as Barbary Coast. Cool vibe.

The green door is the number one place in the Bay Area to me I’m from Oakland I ’ve been Crossing the bridge to the green door over 15+years now They treat you with so much respect and I always have the best product hands-down

Best old-school med dispensary in the City, and one of the only ones that will give you your FULL med cann tax break AND other discounts you're eligible for (veterans, etc.) Avoid the downtown lounge stores and rec-only shops - trap shops one and all who don't care about med. Green Door will treat you with dignity and respect.
