The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, the facility is clean and looks awesome, the waiting area is comfortable and waits are usually under fifteen minutes. Their product is top notch, would recommend to all medical marijuana patients.
Took my 85 year old father here today. He has Crohn's disease and recently got kicked off his medications by insurance. So after some research, he decided to try this route. Having no idea what to expect, we can honestly say this experience was educational and promising! Rose answered all of our questions and based on his symptoms gave us some products with clear instructions. The building is very pretty and clean, and the employees were beyond professional and trustworthy. I am hoping this leads him to a happy and healthy life--after 85 years on this planet, he deserves it!

For Parties. Not for Patients. Staff is extremely High.Out in the middle of nowhere. (Feel Unsafe in the Parking Lot) Hate having to take my grandfather here for his Medication. Not a Place for kids. even though I see them bringing there children into this building. Grimy.
I'm all about call in a quick pick up. Called this morning and stayed on hold for almost 30 mins before I hung up. So unexceptionable. Get it together guys!!!
I love this place for the concentrates, other than the racist security guard "DOUG" who has a really negative attitude towards every patient who walks in. Heard him mumble the N word multiple times I can't believe he still has a job there smfh. It's common sense to check in at the front of a dispensary when you walk in, yet this older man, who I guess is their "security", screams at me "CHECK IN AT THE FRONT!!!" Which I was waiting in line for... smh. I've given this place 5 chances and each time I leave pissed off due to the security guard screaming at everyone. Probably going to switch up dispensaries due to that rude person the owner hired to scream at the customers. That poor old man must live a pretty miserable life that he has to yell at patients trying to get their medicine. I'm honestly surprised he hasn't triggered a patient with PTSD, provoking a fight. They need to hire a new security guard ASAP or they'll only continue to lose business.
Awesome place and very helpful. I just received one of the best deals for meds in the valley. Everything is great except for their atm hopefully they will replace it soon.

This is not the greatest dispensary around. I live on power and McDowell so the location of health for life is definitely a huge plus. Unfortunately, after seeing what else is out there, Health for life is one of the worst dispensaries in the valley. I wish I could say different because the location is great, the budtenders are so nice and upbeat and the new facility is beautiful however there are just too many negatives. Health for life is one of the only dispensaries that don't test the thc levels of their product. Because their product isn't very great I can understand why they don't want to advertise their thc levels. Secondly, the ONLY good flower is the $15 tier. You can go to sunflower down the road who has sales all of the time on their TOP NOTCH flower. Also, Bloom has all $6.00-$7.50 grams of flower up to 26% thc. It is worth the drive to get product in bulk. I can name 10 or more dispensaries within a 35 minute distance that are amazing but sunflower and bloom are amongst the best. I only use health for life to hold me over until I have time for a 20+ minute drive somewhere worthy. Health for life does have a great selection of concentrate. I'll give them that. So I sometimes go there for concentrate but never again... I was in the new location for a gram of grape ape cured resin. An indica. I was given a gram of some sativa live resin and didn't give it a good look until a got home about 5 minutes later. I called right away and explained it was unopened and still cold to see if I could switch it for what I went for because I cannot consume a sativa. Kimberly the manager was extremely careless of my medical condition that I need my medication for and denied my request to simply switch it out for the correct medication. I didn't even need a refund just the correct medicine. So I am now stuck with an entire gram of a sativa live resin concentrate i can do nothing with but throw away and waste my only $45 causing me to be out of medication. I've gotten the wrong thing at other dispensaries before and have NEVER had this issue with any other dispensary. I am appalled and cannot believe a medicinal dispensary would be so cruel to their patients, especially when they aren't even that great of a business in the place to be loosing patients. Well, health for life has lost me and I've already told everybody I know who goes there who will also be switching to sunflower meds for local medicine. Oh P.S., Health for Life NEVER has keif anymore.
First time I went to this dispensary and they have the edibles I love here always in Stock. They are friendly and have nice strains.
This is about the best dispensary I been to. The environment is great, but the service was even better. They got lots of variety and great pricing. Take the time to check this place out. You wont be disappointed.
This is a nice dispensory. It's close to me withing 3 miles, clean and the staff is always friendly. My only complaints and they r really big issues to me and abt 5 others I've talked to. I'm sure its upwards if 100s who feel the same. My first issue is the 1 phone line. I've been told now for at least 4 months they are working on getting more lines.. what doesnt make any sense to me is that theybr a million dollar company how can they not afford a few lines. Theres been days I've called and I'm not exaggerating when I say this but I've called a few times over 85 times with no answer an a 35 min period. That's just crazy. My other complaint is they got rid of the $20 grams of concentrate and they have replaced it with this shit called black label. My bong stem I clean looks better. Not to mention none get you high. They tell me that it takes alot more product to make the wax so this is why they got rid of the 20$ tiers. That just makes zero sense at all.
False advertising! And just bad customer service. They never answer the phone at this medical facility. Always get a busy signal or get routed to a voicemail which says they will get back to you. They never get back to you. They advertise great deals on leafly but when you try to take advantage of them they inform you that it's only for their brand name products that u can get a deal on. (They offer the deal online to any cartridge including timeless and vapen) Their mpx cartridge brand is one of the worst cartridges I have ever had in the state. It's thin like water, they leak all the time, and it does not even test at 70 percent THC and they burn twice as fast as any other cartridge out on the market. They offer a patient choice of any of the specials they offer daily on Friday but, even though it does not state it anywhere online or on their website you can only take advantage of the deal as long as it's their brand name product. WHERE DOES IT SAY THAT?!!! And if they are ever doing a sale avoid this location. They have the worst system in the state for how they organize patients cards who are in line. It is not a first come first serve basis. They honestly line them up on a desk and hope they guess right even when they are 100 cards deep. Terrible management and customer service. Just don't go.
Dis is a great place. I went here the other day, computers was down, so it was slow,but no big deal. The meds are good and the crew there are super chill. I felt welcomed there. Will go again if I'm down dat side
The staff and the products are always top notch! I never walk away disappointed, they are honest about the products which makes me feel like i can trust them. That means a lot to me when im getting my meds. Thanks for setting the bar for dispensaries.
I stop here occasionally because it is right down the street from my elderly mother's place. She about died when she found out there was a "pot store" less than a half mile away;-). Now she has tried CBD lotion on her sore knees her opinion has changed. Nice place, scary location. Security is usually nowhere to be seen. Employees are very helpful and the facility is clean. Prices are considerably higher than my regular dispensary and their veterans discount is lower, but when I need something in that area it is my destination.
Great place just needs to improve in turn around time. Time between people coming in and out if the facility is extremely long. Increase staff and look into streamlining and improving turn around time.
Yeah, Jason, I was blowing off steam. The "deal" advertised has more items EXcluded than INcluded. If it only applies to eighths and prerolls(??) it should say so. If it did you would not have gotten this complaint from me. Your other deals are great. Most of your budtenders are looking out for the customers.
Oh look, it's me again. Months later with the same review. Serious supply chain/management issues. Please hire someone that knows how to run operations and manage stock.
Great place. Very convenient location for me and the folks that work here are always great. A little disappointed today as I made my selections based on the special expecting to get $25 off my order today instead I was not offered any "patient deal" and walked out paying full price. Consider it a lesson learned. I will of course continue to come here but I won't be relying on this locations for specials 2/22/2020Tried again today. Walked out paying full price. I've received the specials before during the week and get the text notifications daily so I dunno. Maybe it's me! None the less frustrating. 3/15/2020I just can't justify going to HFL any longer. Spent $200 today and still no deal applied to transaction. Seems fraudulent to advertise specials then not honor at check out. The next nearest dispensary is quite a ways away and is far less nice but I'm guessing that's my best bet. I shop twice weekly; on Tuesdays and Sundays and I'm a stickler for a budget so it matters to me what I get and when. No more surprises.
I have been a customer here for nearly 4 years; mostly just out of loyalty I suppose, as it's 20 miles from my place and the waiting area is like a phone booth. Recently I bought 4 cartridges along with some leaf, hoping to take advantage of their advertised discounts. As usual, none of them applied, per some fine print on the sign in the sign on the wall, but not in their ad.So after talking with three levels of supervision (using the term loosely it appears), they tell me they can apply one of the discounts but they have to split the order into two. Ok, NP! Except when i got home , they charged me for 8 cartridges but only delivered 4. Call em up next day, and the mgr says NP, I'm on vacation 2 weeks, will call you back and refund you. 2 weeks ...3 weeks ... I call her at week four. Now she's says they need to check the security cameras ... I see, NP, I will come in and view with you. NP she says. She will call me when ready, a couple days. Week 1 ... 2 .. 3 I call her. She says, yes, they've reviewed and if anything i paid too little and really should drop it. Later I go in, and the person who waited on me sees me and turns white as a ghost and escapes to the back. Mgr would not meet me, said they were escalating and Regional Director would be calling me. Can I have their number? No. What if they don't call? They will. That was 3 months ago. I suspect the clerk and supervisor are skimming and I caught them.But that's ok, now i go to a shop a mike from my place with better leaf at much lower prices and they throw discounts at you left and right. I made up the $280 in cash they stole from me in my first visit. (new place begins with T, one word).

I bought a $35 8th with 19% thcThat was harvested last year. Dry, brittle, harsh and not potent. Call back to talk to the front desk and the person that really did not make sense when they spoke and didn't know what they were talking about. I spend a ton of money here and this is what I get.
When I arrived there were 5 people in the medical line and me in the Rec line I watched as the guard let multiple people in the med line before allowing me in while at every other location you do 1 and then 1 per line I love standing in the sun !
Soooo, it's been about 2+ years since I visited the Health for Life location on McDowell in Mesa. Thoroughly impressed when I came in the first time. Well lit, well stocked, very efficient. That isn't the case anymore.My wait time from standing line outside the door to walking back out with my purchase was close to one hour. No super sales or recreational sales to have a crowd, there were approximately 5 people ahead of me, not including who might have been in the back in progress with their own transaction.When it was my turn, I asked if they were sorry staffed. The budtender response was "kinda, people call off...". I get it, shit happens. A lot of frustration can be mitigated by keeping your customers informed. Even if all you can say is "We're doing our best, thank you for shopping with us" is better than saying nothing. The woman who was checking in "walk in" customers didn't say a lot. As for the product... meh. I haven't even smoked it yet, but I opened up the eighth of Lemon Skunk that is their own brand and it was pretty dry, small popcorn buds, and it was .25 grams short of 3.5.
I've been coming to Health 4 Life for years, but never reviewed them. I thought their level of care was standard and I can assure you it is not!Daily specials & Uncle Herbs edibles make this my fave place. The aesthetics have changed over the years, but their level of care has not.

I've been to Health for Life a few times. I haven't been disappointed yet. I'm definitely impressed with their Black Label concentrates. An extremely good deal for some tatsy and quite potent wax!! Update... I seriously can't get over how good the Black Label concentrates are. They have become my favorite by far!!!
Love this place great fast service friendly staff and very knowledgeable.🔥 products and generally fast lines. I would definitely recommend to anyone!!! If there I something weird with your wallet points they figure it out and honor the points it shows you have!! First place to do that.

The Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have great daily deals that cater to my needs. There is usually a great selection of what I shop for. By the way, half gram Black Label cartridges $20 each, 5 for $90 or 10 for $170 every day! It is hard to beat Health for Life.
