Drove here from out of state and decided we wanted to stop by a dispensary while we were here, and we were not disappointed! Both the people who helped us were so friendly and so knowledgeable in helping us find what we were looking for. Will be coming by again next time we're in town, best dispensary experience I've ever had. Super cool, 10/10 recommend! :)

As I sit at the airport awaiting my return flight to Chicago from our Denver Day Trip; I couldn't help but laminate how much Adam of The Giving Tree added to the charm and realness of Denver, Co.  by providing a truth and passion about the products in the store and the advancements in the field of cannabis... Adam made our DIY walking tour by providing us his time, his experience, honesty, and his excitment in educating his patrons!!!... His suggestions about all forms of cannabis products were right on point!!!. The quality of his "walking outta the door.." products, were top notch and at great price point ...The Giving Tree was our last stop and he truly showed us the care, respect, and reverence the herb of God deserves.... His knowledge proved why  one should pass on the corporate stores and shop local with true connoisseurs and scholars of their craft.Well-Done The Giving Tree!!!!!!!!Well-Done Adam!!!!!!

Clyde is the man to go to ! First time going with my boyfriend and he enjoyed everything min.  He's very knowledgeable and curious. Will drive tk Denver again just for him.

AMAZING!!! Wow! Honestly if you're reading this just get in your car and go now! The most amazing customer service. I didn't just go there and get weed. I got a whole experience a new friend and a permanent place I will support till the end. This is just about the people . The weed is incredible too! Grown by Adam and his sister with no chemicals. The most clear headed high I've ever had and I used to work and sell weed at a dispensary. He has a cool ass world map up where anyone who goes into his store can put the pin down on where they're from and you wouldn't believe how many people have visited this shop from all over. I don't blame them. Adam has been there since the beginning, when CO first legalized. A true honest man who loves his customers and his weed!

The staff was super friendly and patient in showing us what they had in the shop! Super knowledgeable and helpful in steering you to what you're looking for. They were all wearing mask which made me feel safe and were very profesional about everything! Would highly recommend to come here! I'll see you next time guys!!

This was the first stop we made after landing in Denver. What a great experience. Adam was very helpful and answered lots of our questions. I love the giving tree. Everyone who works there is super friendly and knowledgeable. Great prices on THC vape cartridges - and they are always getting new kinds of edibles! I also love all the options. Great neighborhood pot shop!

Need to give love to this family owned dispensary! The owner was so patient and knowledgeable on cannabis. I can tell his passion for it just by talking to him! Super chill, artsy and not corporate, neighborhood dispensary.  Amanda was our bud tender, and she gave us excellent advise on flower and edibles.  Found a parking spot on the mural side of the building and immediately spotted gnomes painted on it, they are good luck for us!  Thanks Amanda and Giving Tree!

One of my favorite spots in Denver , visited a couple times in one week and the customer service was extraordinary each time. Everyone was friendly and informative. Has some great goodies.

Adam greeted us with open arms and was very knowledgeable of all the products in the store. Also recommended this great bong shop called  Bomb Head Shop where I got an amazing deal on a bong. I would highly recommend this place for tourist to visit while enjoying their stay in Denver!!

My first time in any dispensary and I am so glad this shop came up on my search.  Both the owner Adam and Chad were wonderful and cared enough to take their time with me.  Chad explained everything to me and how to use the products for more medical needs than anything else.  They even allowed to me to dump my sorrows on them, LOL.  What great, kind, caring and knowledgeable people whom made my first visit so comfortable.  I will be back for sure!  I love the fact that they are family owned and not a huge corporation.  Thanks you two, here's to not only a good nights sleep, but a much better appetite, after months of dealing with both issues from not so kind cancer treatments.

This was our last stop before we hit the airport to return home and I wish it had been our first. We visited a few different dispensaries during our trip and this one was BY FAR the best one! The customer service was unmatched. They had awesome deals and even better products. Make sure you get the "Forbidden Fruit" its delicious and makes you feel great! We will definitely be back.

I loved that I could do online order and pickup. Everyone was super friendly, great service. No wait. I got some amazing CBD/THC muscle rubs.All around great experience! Highly recommend!

Having called on dispensaries for work, I've shopped and been in nearly every one in the Denver area. That said, when I want edibles, I head straight for The Giving Tree. Their staff is incredibly friendly and informative. They have one of the largest inventories out there, so lots of options. If you haven't tried Forbidden Fruit (made from actually fruit!) you should, it's magically delicious. Plus, it's not uncommon to be helped by Adam, the owner. He's one of the kindest in the industry, and he's an independent location, so supporting them and our community (especially during covid) is really important to me.

I mean.... When in Denver?I'm from Canada and weed is legal throughout the whole country. So for me, visiting a cannabis clinic in Denver wasn't something out of the ordinary. This dispensary was right next to my friend's house, so it was a nice, short 3 minute walk to get there. The space itself reminds me of an anctual doctor's office which is kind of funny. At the very front there's a receptionist and you have to slide your ID under a little hole to the other side so that they can check your information. And then once they check your IDs, depending on how many people are in the clinic, you have to wait in the waiting room or you can be let in to the back. Everything is super organized by strain, product and whether it's recreational or medicinal. The budtenders are very organized and helpful in their product knowledge. They answered all of our questions happily and even showed us different products we might like. It was also cool to see that they had deals and specials on different types of strains and products. Overall, I had a really great experience and I would definitely come back if I'm in Denver again.

Don't go to this place. Spent over $300 and product was subpar. Everything we bought was dried out and old as shit. Great Yelp reviews are deceiving . All for supporting local businesses but this is trash.

I've visited a few dispensaries while in Denver and the Giving Tree is my favorite by far. Knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful staff. Jenna was excellent at providing recommendations for flowers and concentrates that would help me with my bad insomnia. She really took the time to explain everything and answer all of my many questions. I am very happy with everything I bought, as her recommendations were spot on. In addition to excellent customer service, the Giving Tree also has a great selection and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be coming back whenever I'm in town. Plus, they are family-owned, so go check them out!

First time in Denver and was looking for a good dispensary and this came up in yelp reviews.We came waited about 10-15 min and then was taking to the back. The guy who helped us can't remember his name was super nice and super informative! He went over all the different strands as well the different products in which there was a really wide variety. Two of my friends also went to Kind Love and said this place was better prices as well!Will come back

My wife and I were visiting from out of state and chose this dispensary based on the great reviews it had. Well, it did not disappoint at all! The owner was there both times we went (I believe his name is Adam, sorry I'm terrible with names!) and he was beyond helpful and friendly. He made our visit an actual experience and took his time to understand our needs and make great suggestions. His prices were unbeatable for the quality of the product he sells. I love supporting local businesses at home and when traveling and I could not have been more happy to support this one! 10/10 would recommend every time and we are looking forward to returning on our next trip!

The service at The Giving Tree was fantastic, and they treat you more like a person than a customer. My friend and I came in not knowing a lot about what to buy. Adam and his sister spent at least 30 minutes explaining everything to us. They gave us suggestions on what to buy. They even asked what flavors we liked. If you're looking for a store then go here. This place sucked. Dude was helping me and got a call and went in the back. Bad customer service and second I got a pre roll joint, worst $10 I spent. Can't even hit the joint!! I'm glad I didn't fall for there 3 for $20 deal. I see why now because these joints suck. First and last time. Btw they have all outdoor bud, nothing good. SMH

I had been going to the big chains until I found the giving tree and I will seriously never go anywhere else!! I love supporting family owned businesses, especially after getting so much knowledge and advice from adam and the rest of the staff!

First time in Denver and very first time visiting a dispensary, this was all very exciting and new to me. My friend is an Avid smoker and this place was like a candy store for her. Very overwhelming if you've never been to a dispensary, so many products and options, but the staff was very knowledgeable, patient, and down to earth. Hate to say, but spent probably almost a hour in there. I have sleep problems and my ambien just isn't cutting it some days, so I was looking for a more natural option for sleep remedies. Help me leave with a plethora of edible options that hopefully will knock me off my butt and help me sleep. 10/10 recommendation

In store shop was amazing, I don't love ordering on line. Loved every moment upon entering the door. The front staff checking IDs was quick, kind, and so friendly. I went and it was not busy in store at all, so I might have had a more personal shopping experience. This was my favorite interaction I have had with a bud tender ever. Seriously. Helpful and truly listened to me aside from what I wanted to spend my money on and had recommendations that were not just up sells. The family owned business treated me great down to the owner saying thank you for the in store shop during all the extra precautions (which were perfect). Cannot wait to come back.

So I am in Denver for 24 hours, and I thought that I would take advantage of the wonderful privileges that the citizens of the great state of Colorado enjoy.They are very accommodating if you are coming in with no prior knowledge. Now, as the current law is set into place, recreational is OK but if you are looking for the products with higher potency, you still need a med card for that. I just wanted to see what all the buzz was about. When you walk in, there in a check-in counter and a waiting room. We waited about a minute and then they buzzed us in to the back room. At this point, there are 2 lines, one for recreational and one for medicinal. They were very happy to answer any questions about the products and were very knowledgeable about what they were selling. They didn't sell me the products that I picked out until I knew exactly what they did, I really appreciated that!Visit The Giving Tree next time you're in Denver and don't forget to stick a pin on the map wall to rep your hometown!

Can't say enough good things about this place. The owner Adam was the nicest bud tender I've ever encountered. Adam was super friendly and knowledgeable. There was a bit of a line and Adam wasn't rushing us in and out despite not being too familiar with  the products.

We circled the block to find TGT, and so glad we did! Adam was amazing and helped walk us through all of the different options, we wound up buying a little of this and a little of that - and  their house-made dried fruit edibles. If you're looking for the sort of sterile, Apple Store Vibe you get from some places, this is not the place for you... On the other hand if you are looking fora hyper-local, genuinely kind and knowledgeable people who will also spend a little time laughing and talking, you're gonna love The Giving Tree.

Super friendly!  They were impressed that I read the recreational & medical signs & knew where I was supposed to go!Very knowledgeable & made helpful recommendations for a newbie!They were very upfront with the $6 charge for the childproof bag since I bought edibles. (What child wouldn't want to try these tasty treats?!?). No problems finding it although there are several others a stone's throw away.  I was impressed w/ their variety and that everything had prices on it. Not like some where they have everything behind a counter (could have been for security?) and prices are a big secret (adjustable by means?). Not so here!!!

Employees are super welcoming and answer all questions . Not really sure what product to get , the guy (wish I would have gotten his name ) Listened to what I was looking for and provided several options . He explained each product and a products looks so good .  Place is super clean and following Covid guidelines . I'll be back when I'm in town .

Linc was amazing with helping me search for exactly what I was looking for .... a more healthier , cleaner smoke/ edible ended up with the kiwi forbidden fruit & gorilla glue (classic) loveeeeddd! This place is a vibe ! There was a 10m wait but went by really fast and was plenty of space in the waiting area. Can't wait to go back!

The lady who helped us was really helpful. She didn't give medical tips per se but she was good at explaining which strain does what and what would work better for pain in the recreational strains they carry. The place was also clean, maintained, n they carry many different strains n edibles that are organized neatly.

The bud tender that I worked with was probably the better part of this experience. The strain I purchased was very old and dried out. I expressed what I wanted and the bud tender provided the best suggestions he had, but also took the opportunity to try and up sell me. But he did NOT try and get me enrolled in the pre roll special you guys advertise. I had expected more from such a prominent dispensary. I'm hoping this was a one time experience, but am unsure if I want to risk giving the opportunity for this to happen again.

Super friendly staff. They actually take the time and walk you through deals, compare products and prices, and even show you flower up close so you know what you're buying. The girl who helped me was super genuine and sweet. Would 100% recommend

Small with little selection. I don't buy often.  They said state law required a special zip lock bag that cost an additional amount to carry the product out of the store.  I have been to several dispensaries since, smaller and larger, and none of them require this special bag.  So why do they?

This place is super rad. The staff is supHERB. I'm Visiting from Cali and wanted to enjoy and unwind with the Denver recreation laws. I highly recommend this place. This was my first time in a dispensary and they made me feel very comfortable and taught me a lot. Ask for Isabella. Side note: The Giving Tree was my childhood favorite book. Coming here felt like home.

Poor customer service - let the clock run out before selling so I wasted money getting there and back around $120 .. never said anything about not being able to use the system after ten. Then heard employees talking about how they hoped they'd never see me again because of how bad I was screwed over.

The first day we went it was amazing! Kasey was so sweet and kind. She explained so much to my sister and myself, and really helped us out. We went back on in 4/20, because it was my sisters birthday, and kasey mentioned to come back, but the customers and the staff were a bit different. There were some obnoxious customers in the waiting area being so loud and rude. So much so, if it were my store I would have felt awkward having them there. The staff that day also was not as friendly or helpful. Over all still a great spot with decent sized selection.

My first visit to CO.Casey or Cassie was extremely helpful. Very nice young lady. They had special buy 3 get another for $1. We stayed in the springs and came back on 2 separate occasions. Good prices, good staff. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We are new to the whole cannabis thing. We had a good experience. They had a good selection and the pricing seemed right. I asked the attendant for a couple of recommendations and we took him up on them. The lemon cheesecake bar is delicious!

Went there at 8:30 am and there were a few people ahead of me. It's a locked, intimate space and they only allow two people / 1 couple in at a time. It was totally worth the wait, because Adam gave me fantastic guidance. He shepherded me through the best possible products to get based on my past experiences. For my personal choice in sativa, I was stuck between dancing bear and blue dream. I went with the latter. It has an amazing fragrance and I think I've had it before a long time ago - Adam said that its a very cerebral high that spurs creativity.  Next time I'm in, I'll go for the dancing bear or green crack. As for edibles, I loaded up on "Highly Edible CannaPunch Company Sour & Fruity Bears". The dosage in each piece is 5 mg, which is nice because I can have a little more control over the duration of my high. I also went with the spearmint tincture (30 dose vial, 3mg in each drop). I wanted cinnamon, but they were out. Next time! They also sell Mary's THC patches. I went with Indica, but they also have them in sativa. Adam suggested cutting the patch up into tenths, since the drug is bypassing the gastrointestinal system. Just want to reiterate that this place is great and the people who run it are very knowledgeable and friendly. I didn't take any pictures because they don't allow cellphones inside (you can keep them pocketed). Go early/midday to see Adam, he really cares about finding the right product for you, whether you are a lightweight (like me) or varsity level.

This was the first dispensary we visited in Denver (out of 3) in March. I've suffered insomnia for years and had hit or miss luck with traditional sleep aids, so I decided to give pot a try since I was visiting for a week. The gentleman who greeted us was very nice while verifying our IDs and explaining how the "shopping process" worked. I felt awkward with it being my first dispensary visit and not really knowing what to do, but he never made us feel dumb. I quit smoking about 5 years ago and explained that I was looking for a non-smoking alternative. The girl who helped me (I believe she had blonde dreds) was very receptive and explained the different strains, and what type would help me and why. She recommended the thc capsules, as well as different edible options. I purchased both, and while the capsules didn't achieve what I needed, the chocolates she recommended were fantastic. It's been probably 10 years since I smoked pot last, and am admittedly ignorant on the subject. She was very helpful, informative, and patient, and never made me feel dumb. She genuinely seemed to want to make sure I left with the right product I needed. As a non-Colorado resident and someone who doesn't know much about the product, I would absolutely recommend this place. From beginning to end they were professional and very helpful.

This was my very first ever dispensary that I have ever visited. I wasn't sure what to expect really. The lady at the Front Desk was very friendly, checked our I.D's and we had a short wait. We were then called in to a room that was filled top to bottom with all sorts of products. Our Budtender (I forget her name) was also very nice and helpful, talked to us about our visit to Denver and recommended some places we should visit. She also described all types of products and recommended a few that we would enjoy. Her attitude was not snobby at all, which is something you can unfortunately get from non professionals in this field; this was a huge plus for me. We ended up getting THC mints and a Pre Rolled joint, which were both absolutely amazing. I will visit The Giving Tree again, and I cant wait! Thanks guys.

This was literally my first stop in Denver. Excited much?? Having received my Yelpus Maximus badge for this check-in made me extremely happy for some reason. And that was prior to my ingestion of any special chocolate that I purchased. Is my name on a list somewhere, or is that paranoia?? ;)So...I'm a total newb when it comes to marijuana. Once in high school, I inhaled from a bong and it had zero effect and I never felt the need or desire to do it again. I probably did it wrong any way. This contrasts greatly with my experience in the great state of Colorado last week, to say the least.I love that the clinic itself, which dispenses both medical and recreational marijuana products, felt like just that, "clinical". (The neighborhood itself was kind of sketchy, but we made it through without incident. Haha) You walk into a small lobby with a few chairs for waiting where you check in at the glass partition and are required to show your identification to the attendant. We didn't have to wait at all, and were immediately taken back into the inner sanctum. That next area was also small, divided up into 2 areas, medical and recreational. I had no idea what to expect from the staff. Would they be Beavis & Butthead types, or Seth Rogan, or Cheech & Chong?? That could have made for quite an entertaining experience, but it was not at all the case. A very clean cut guy in his 20's helped us and chatted with us about his visits to Chicago during Lollapalooza. I'm guessing he was a very popular guy there based on his current job. ;) He was really helpful and didn't mind answering my many questions. I was pretty sure I didn't want to deal with a bong or rolling papers kind of thing, as well as those extra supplies, and was leaning towards edibles. They had many choices, including cookies, brownies, suckers, gummies, tea and more! And then I heard about the chocolate bars. Done & done! LOL He explained carefully about how much was a serving, the length of time to take affect, and its lasting power. And to be sure to NOT just pop another one thinking it wasn't working. I chose an orange & cayenne bar of 10 servings, made by a manufacturer he compared to Godiva, in the chocolate making business well before the advent of legal edibles. I paid $20 for the bar (cash only currently), $10 additional for taxes-- yeah, it's high, and may have been higher not being a CO resident, not positive on that. Additionally, he packaged our purchase in an opaque and "child-proof" bag (required by state law) and explained that while in the state of Colorado, should we be stopped by police, it was not searchable as long as it remained in the bag. Interesting. Of course, you can not take it legally out of the state at this time since very few states allow it.And then we left, headed toward my final destination in CO, driving around like we weren't holding drugs in the car. It was kind of bizarre and funny to us. And for the record, the chocolate was decent, and the THC in there? Strong and long-lasting. Oh. My. God. I'm sure it was because it was my first time, but WOW! I have never felt that way before and have no idea how many equivalent drinks it would've taken me to land there. No hangover the next day, however the day after my second indulgence, I was a little foggy for half the day. I was also tired from having been up late and I hadn't showered that morning as per my usual, so those could all contribute to that fogginess. My quote of that first night: "ok, I'm ready for this to be over now."

Exceptional staff. Smaller but cute by character dispensary space. When you walk in, half the room is roped off for rec and the other side for medical.  I was disappointed that they were out of stock of some items they still showed on display but happy to know that means they're doing well.  I work at a dispensary in another state so I know my products and what to ask about to find what I want and the woman was patient with me and able to ask for help or ask another employee about anything she didn't know.  I came to find out she actually usually only handles the administrative tasks which surprises me for how much she was able to answer.

Adam was extremely helpful. He made the entire experience one to remember. You knew everything and made the tough decision a fun one to make. I HIGHly recommend The Giving Tree of Denver, it feels good to help small, local businesses. If you're visiting, this is a place you MUST go to!!

I absolutely do not recommend. After talking to the employees about what is best for me (since edibles do not work on me) they recommended a product and swore it was going to be great. The product didn't work at all and was a big waste of $40. When I went back and told them that nothing happened, a new employee said that what I bought was actually for pain, which I was not aware of. I would have never bought this product if the employee that I bought it from informed me on the real purpose of this product instead of trying to just sell to me. But that just shows how uninformed the employees are. If you want to go to a dispensary that will actually support you, absolutely do not walk into the doors of The Giving Tree.

My first time in Colorado and I didn't want to go to a corporate ran dispensary and stumbled across this place and I'm happy I did. First off the service here is amazing. Adam is a very enthusiastic and passionate person. Right away he greeted us with a big smile and warm welcome and even asked us our names. We told him what exactly we were looking for and he pointed us in the right direction with ease. He got me just the medicine I needed and I couldn't be happier, and if you love music tell Adam about your favorite new music. He's always looking for new music and he even played one of my recommendations in the shop. If you're and edible fan this is the place to go. The dried fruit that the company makes is organic and very delicious, no medicinal or artificial taste. We grabbed the papaya because I had a stomachache and it cleared it up in less than 30 minutes. This will be my number one dispensary when I visit Colorado again!

Place was in a great location but the quality was not comparable to the price. And the taxes geez aside from that the staff was nice.

Budtenders were very knowledgable and very down to earth. Very welcoming environment. Professional and clean. Prices were decent to average. The flower quality was good. I also purchased there edibles, which were good. My favorite part of the experience was being able to put your number in at the front door for a daily deal. !!!

Overall a great experience! I stopped by The Giving Tree as soon as I got into town from LA and I'm so glad I did. I had the pleasure of dealing with a bud tender named Autumn, she was very knowledgable about all strains and very friendly. We chopped it up about the products, local legalities and things to do during my visit. The receptionist at the front was cool AF also! I didn't catch her name but she had a metal look..on that note, The Giving Tree of Denver you rock..I shall return!

This was my first time in a dispensary and I had to say that I was very pleased. I am a army vet and my budtender was very helpful on the selection process. I also wanted to try something new since I have always smoked dry herb. So I asked for the pens and the edibles. After the selection process he still showed me around and educated me. What was also great was that he gave a disabled veteran a military discount I am very pleased and I will go back again.

The bud tender was so helpful for my husband and I who were at a bud dispensary for the first time. He also informed us of all the cool places he recommends visiting while in Denver.

This place is super cool. It just happened to be one the closest to our hotel. They have both recreational and a medicinal section. They have plenty of choices whether its edibles or weed. They also use organic soil per the girl at the counter. Check this place out if you're in town and nearby

Absolutely amazing experience!Read the reviews here and was excited to check it out. When you first go in, you have to show your i.d to the lady at the window, give her your name, and then wait in the waiting room. We were finally called to go in and the young woman who was helping us was super sweet and very knowledgeable. I told her "show me something that will make people tolerable". She giggled and showed me what I needed. She knew everything about the strains and how they'd affect the user. She was also very honest when I asked about a product that would've been way too strong for me. She explained in detail what exactly was in it and claimed that it can be pretty heavy. I'm so glad she did because I may have wasted money on a product that would not have worked out for me.She helped us out with some sale specials and edibles. I just wanted to stay longer to talk and learn more (signs you know you're at a great establishment), but we had to go.Oh, they also had a side of the store specifically for medicinal users using a medicinal card.The Giving Tree was everything I wanted. Great product, a comfortable environment, and wonderful staff that make you feel welcome. I would definitely return.

Friendly experience with knowledgeable and patient staff who explained a lot of the strains and edibles for me. They were still running a New Years sale of ten bucks a gram (rather than 15) which was cool - haven't tried the PAC-10 or Lavender that I picked up yet, but the Heavenly Honey Lemon Chill Pill they recommended was excellent for insomnia and a general feel of contentment.

Small little place. Spoke to the owner and his sister during my visit. Most of the items I wanted were out of stock but they did recommend me something similar or something close to my taste. However when I paid with my cc he charged me $4 extra to even out and said he'd give me the $4 in cash. I realized he didn't give me the cash back after I have already left the facility (I flew back to NY) so I called the store and spoke to an employee named Oak about my problem. He said no problem we'll mail the change back to you and got my address and all the information he needed. Never got back to me. I gave it a little since the mail would be traveling across the country. Wouldn't be a big problem if you guys didn't have my personal address but you guys do. Update:Adam C. of this business helped me sort everything out after the review post. Thank you!

This review is long over due ! I had the pleasure of visiting the giving tree for the 1st. time in 2009 when my late aunt was suffering from cancer. I would visit her once a year from the east coast.I had never been to this kind of establishment and did not know what to expect when my aunt took me there.She passed away recently and I just wanted to thank The Giving Tree for helping to alleviate her suffering and help her feel so good through a very difficult time in her life.Thank you for your kindness,compassion and for helping her feel loved for the past five or six years! She really lit up and got happy every time she mentioned your shop!She always looked forward to going to The Giving Tree and talked about how she felt warm inside and cared about when she would come to your shop. Also, thanks for educating her so much and for being extremely patient with her !Thanks for all of the LOVE you showed her !

Being from out of town and not knowing anything about the laws, the staff was extremely helpful. The woman that helped us explained everything we needed to know and had great recommendations for us. The store itself was clean and organized. We were made to feel at easy and very welcome there. Highly recommend going out of your way to visit these guys.

I have never been to a dispensary before so I didn't know what to expect, especially showing up close to closing time. The lady at the front was very kind and welcoming. Showed us right in and got us taken care of immediately. There were so many worker bees there making sure every merchants visit was sweet and smooth.There were many different options to choose from and the staff was very knowledgable about every product. It's very inviting and the atmosphere is very comfortable and safe. Located in the heart of Denver it's a must see for anyone looking to relax and have a good time.

This is my first online review of anything, and I'm writing it because this shop is great, and run by really great folks. It was the first shop I ever went to, over a year ago, and they are still my favorite. They have the best edible selection I've seen of any shop, which is great for me, because I can't really smoke very much.  Every shop I've been to carries just a few things that this shop does. Giving Tree has everything.When I did go there looking for a certain strain once, they didn't have it, BUT they knew the nearest shop that did and gave me the address, phone number and directions.  They give very thorough advice and I always leave feeling confident in my purchase decisions, which I can really only say for this and maybe one other shop. Their products are top notch, but the staff are even better. Kudos.

First time visitor. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Very welcoming environment and the prices were AMAZING! We will definitely come back and refer friends to The Giving Tree. My only concern was the limited parking, but I suppose that's to be expected with any business in or near downtown.

I was about to check out and changed me mind on a product that I didn't need. I told the clerk I didn't want it and she told me "no returns." I was appalled! The cash didn't even touch her hand I used to pay yet! They kept telling me since it was in the system they had no way to reverse it or whatever but I didn't even give the cashier money! They wouldn't let me leave until I paid for the unwanted product and I was super disappointed. I'll never go here again and recommend to people there is a better place right across the street.

On this visit to Denver, I decided to patronize The Giving Tree based on the reviews. Although much smaller than some of the ones I have frequented and with a smaller selection, the quality of the products we bought was better than some of the bigger competitors (not dried out, higher quality). The service was second to none, the guys behind the counter knew the product, they were friendly and answered all of our questions. Adam, the owner came out and greeted us and even threw in a rolled blunt as a "thank you" (thanks again!). We bought the OG Sin & Girl Scout Cookies bud and 2 edibles which were all of high quality and enjoyable! Will definitely be back on my next return to Denver.

Biggest selection of edibles and each one I've tried has been every bit of delicious. It is very clean and has knowledgable, friendly employees. The cannabis selection is on point and never disappointing.

Cool and friendly staff, will go into detail if you have any questions that need to be answered.Great selection, only downside is some of the stuff I wanted to buy(like blue dream+other types) is for patients with medical cards only.Thats why I give them 4.5 stars out of 5.

I really enjoyed stopping at The Giving Tree-the staff was awesome-and very informative,more than any other dispensary I've ever been to.Plus the location is nice -close to downtown but in a neighborhood area next to a flower shop.I will say that their selection was a little low but all good stuff-I had the Deathstar Caviar(pretty bomb).Berner from SF dropped of cookies here one time and that's what brought me in.Earlier that day I had been to another shop close to the Rockies stadium and they were pretty lame.Thanks Giving Tree hope to see you again!!!

I have been a customer/patient of the giving tree since January 2017The staff is very knowledgable and you are like a dear old friend and/or a beloved family member. I love these guys. I moved 2 hours away, but still continue to go to them for my medical needs because they are worth the drive. Prices are fair, tax is included, and they have more edibles than any place I've seen. They have TONS of CBD products, and they really do have a little something for everyone. If you are new to town or just stopping in, the staff is very knowledgable, and they will help you figure out exactly what would be a good fit for your needs. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. The owners and staff go above and beyond, and take as much time with you as you need. I will warn you, you will be overwhelmed when you first walk in because they have SO many products, but break it up into chunks. Do you want edibles? What kind of treats do you like, and just start there. (They are all made pretty much the same, it just comes down to what you're in the mood to snack on)So enjoy your visit to the store and our beautiful state! Thanks guys!

I also used to love this place! Adam was legitimately interested in his patients. He and Kendra are only about the money. They went from premier medical consultants to how much money there is to be made. Sad to know money can change it all.

So this place is just the best. Maybe its because im from outta town but i was amazed at the recreational marijuana buying experience. This is a real business with real employees but their specialty is cannabis. You can buy edibles or just the buds also vap pens. I love this place and im still stoned!

This clinic sells both recreational and medical marijuana.  The MM items for sale outnumber the recreational by about 3:1 and the prices on their website are for MM patients so expect to pay about 80% more for recreational.  Example: a 100 mg package of edibles is listed at $11 online but will cost you $20 if you don't have a MM card.The staff is very friendly and they want you to get what you need and want, not what they personally prefer.  I was in and out (waited maybe one minute in the lobby) in 8 minutes, which was great.  They will allow you to pay with a debit card and treat it like a cash withdrawal at the grocery store.  They round your total up to the nearest ten dollars, charge your debit, then give you cash as change for the difference,  Except there is a $2 fee (like an ATM).  I suggest you use cash.Overall for one 80mg and one 100mg package of edibles it cost me $48, so that is high when compared to the competition. When I break it down per serving it comes to $5 per experience so it's not that bad considering that will buy you one beer at any sports bar.   I didn't buy any bud so I can't comment on those price points.The parking lot can hold about 5 cars so all other parking is on the street.  The lobby is clean but small and has about 12 chairs.  Friendly and accommodating staff and it's in an up and coming neighborhood.  Prices are just too high for me to frequent.

My friends and I went here and it was the first dispensary we had ever been to. Eric, Bella, and Audrey were super helpful and patient with us, and made us feel completely comfortable. We actually came back the day before we left and they remembered us!

These are the NICEST people I have met in Denver! I have never met someone more personally dedicated to helping people with cannabis.  Both Adam and Kendra are great additions to the cannabis community. This is not some fly by night operation.  They have great flower and concentrates, and the most extensive collection of "other stuff" I've seen, like medicinal rubs, edibles, drinks, etc.

Great staff very helpful, they helped me get everything I needed to go exploring the mountain side and the ability to get in touch with nature, I think I went here 3 times in the week I was here in Denver  Get some gummy bears there awesome, oh and they have disposable vape pens

I will give this place the benefit of the doubt, I've gone here for a few years now. They normally provide very good customer service, wait times are reasonable, and prices are as well. Tonight felt like showing up to a busy restaurant without a reservation- wait time was roughly 20 minutes which is frustrating for regular customers who are quick with their purchases. I'm all for customer education, but you can't have your one bud tender on duty providing 30 minute education courses to folks. Especially with a competitor literally across the street.

Having never visited a dispensary I wasn't sure what to think when we pulled up to The Giving Tree. The associates who work there were very kind and patient with novices. I would definitely recommend going to visit them and seeing the fantastic map of visitors

I haven't messed with this stuff since I was in college and didn't realize how different things are now a days! I had no idea what any of the names meant....The people there were really patient and helpful and showed us everything that they had. We had the gummies that were buy 2 get 1 free. They actually charged me for all 3 and I didn't realize until we got back. They were so accommodating, and just gave me another one for free. Lucky for me by this time, I've tried 2 out of 3 and was able to get the one I liked the most! If you're going to get the gummies, get the sweet and sour ones! They're not super sour so you'll be ok. Or try the pop rocks! I can't really tell you if the prices were fair, low or high....I have no idea what this stuff goes for. I just know that we loved the staff, atmosphere, I was more than willing to pay their prices, and loved the variety that they had of merchandise! Go! NOW! You won't regret it!

They had an OK selection of weed. The sales people were helpful for the most part except that the one that helped me seemed like she had a low tolerance for tourists excited about the experience and asking questions about the different strains they had. I also got 3 pre-rolled joints from them that was terribly rolled. I got some oil that didn't work with my vape after the sales person insisted it would work. I called about 10 minutes later letting them know what happened and they said no returns, exchanges or refunds. 10 minutes!!! Would I go back, maybe, but I'd have to see what else Denver has to offer.

I like this place. For one, the bud tenders educate me on all the new products and other smoke supplies. For two, they run their business on the up and up. I have been to a few shops and everthing about the place was suspect. And I don't want to feel like I am about to be in a DEA raid.

Love this little place. It's clean, professional and very chill - everything a dispensary should be.  In fact, I liked it so much that I went back three days in a row!  The budtenders were super friendly and knowledgable about their product and helped me navigate the overwhelming array of offerings.  They made me feel very much at home even though I was a visitor.  In addition to flower, I ended up purchasing two different kinds of edibles - a chocolate bar and some grapefruit hard candies - butter (dabs) and a caviar cone - a joint dipped in oil and then rolled in keef.  It was quite a haul and not a cheap one at that, but so far everything I've tried has been quality so I don't regret it.  I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to the Denver area.  Can't wait until you guys can ship to Ohio!

Walked in for the first time and it was a warm welcome from the start! I have arthritis and I'm by no means a weed connoisseur but wanted to find something I could have on hand for those achy days. Once we got to the back Bryan was extremely helpful. Very happy with our visit!

Visiting from California for my birthday and decided to hit up a dispensary. Since it's not legal in CA and I don't own a card, I was very nervous to go in. The front desk lady made me feel welcomed while she checked my ID. Once we went in, the girl behind the counter was very friendly and answered any question I had. She made my weed buying experience a nice one. Definitely will recommend this place to anyone visiting from out of town.

I've been there a couple times and everyone in there is awesome and they make you feel at home, it's such a great and rewarding experience each time I get the chance to go to denver, there selection of concentrates and edibles are the best in the denver area, but that's just my opinion, you need to check it out for yourself. Most of the dispensaries I have been to were all friendly but  the giving tree staff seams to go above and beyond to help with your questions,  I just absolutely Love this place  I can't wait to go back and see my new friends.     Thank you guys

I went with my boyfriend who just received his card and spent my time sitting in the waiting area, so as far as their product, or business behind the door, I can't say anything except my boyfriend definitely approved.As for my experience it is few and far between that I go to a business where I see such outstanding customer service. What stands out is that they seem genuine when interacting with everyone as well! It's not like they are using their scripted lines or anything, they have huge smiles, know their customers names when they walk in, and just exude kindness.From reading signs around the place it seems they have some pretty great specials for members as well. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for somewhere new!

This was our first time to a dispensary. It's been a decade since I've smoked and I was nervous. I've had anxiety issues and back pain that keeps me from sleeping. The smoke was good, but I got the lemon drops and sour taffy edibles and they just suck... They recommend 1 at a time for beginners. I just never got high, I took 20 mg the second time and still nothing. Thought maybe edibles didn't work??? But my friends tried them and they also did not get high.

On my trip to CO I visited this marijuana clinic first.1. Hard as hell to find - I ended up in the wrong clinic across the street asking where The Giving Tree was or if this one had changed names - WTF?2. I walked in, rang the bell and waited (just as the sign says).  Waited forever, a lady comes out with boxes from the door and asks if I'd been helped.  WTF?  I said, no, and she took me back as if she hadn't known anyone was sitting in the waiting room.3. After returning to my hotel room, I looked at my receipt and saw a $6 bag charge - WTF?  No one told me about this charge while I was there.  I told the "budtender" I was from out of state - they check your i.d. a few times.  Awareness of this charge would have been great.  Other clinics gave me the OPTION of bag or no bag.  $6 could have gone to my dinner - not cool.4. The single joint I purchased was SMASHED inside the container clearly it needed a larger container.  It was smoke-able, but still - why smash my shit?  not cool.The Love's Turtle Brownies are delicious.The disposable vap is pretty cool and works.They were out of EVERYTHING sugar-free. Sucks.Needless to say, I did not visit the giving tree place again.  I did, however, like Terrapin Care Station (both locations on 33rd and Mississippi)  Prices there are reasonable and no hidden fees.

I didn't feel like going to my normal dispensary on the other side of town, so I gave the giving tree a shot yesterday. I walked in and was greeted by the owner (I think) and he was very friendly getting me checked in. A few mins of waiting and I'm whisked back. Med pieces are very fair, but IMO their flower doesn't compare to my normal dispensary (Kind Love) in quality, but it is $10/8th cheaper, so I can't really make that a fault per se. My interactions with their employees were great, and if I'm in a hurry, I can see myself stopping back in here in the future. I was at a 3.5 and I love banker's rounding, but their good customer service pushed me up to a 4.

Can I just say that these guys are officially my heroes? No but actually. I came in looking for a detox drink, which they didn't have, but were able to point me in the right direction. They didn't give me the run around (i.e. "We have that product, come back at a later date.) Any business that will puts customer service ahead of monetary gains is A+ in my book.

This is my second stop at The Giving Tree...my second trip to Denver.   The owner of the shop is an absolute doll...he lived in Vegas so we had a little something in common!  Their selection of medicinal as well as recreational marijuana was out of this world!  Amazing flower selection, amazing edible selection and of course you can purchase a copy of The Giving Tree while you're there!  The staff is super friendly, very knowledgable with the product and patient with those of us from out of state.  Needless to say -- The Giving Tree is my first stop in Denver!!

Very very friendly staff! The place however is pretty small and only two people are allowed in at a time. I understand this is for security and regulation purposes, but can lead to a lengthy wait in a small waiting room. The selection of items was pretty limited by the time we got there around 4:30-5 pm.. Not sure if due to tolerance, but I was not blown away by the results from the edibles. However if you are in the area definitely worth a visit.

I have been going to The Giving Tree of Denver since I moved to Denver a few months back. I bike 20mins to this particular dispensary every week, instead of any of the closer ones, for very good reason. I am not a huge edible lover, but my partner is, and you can't beat their variety. Their flowers are always great for me, however, their products aren't the reason I keep returning.They remember my name, always very happy and very important: professional.I love this dispensary and after visiting many others, I always find myself making the extra trip to support these guys. As an out of towner Oak made this a very memorable experience!  The shop is clean and the staff is friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about their products! I would fly across country just to listen to Oak's wisdom. If you are from out of state and need a comfortable and fun first time buying experience GO HERE!!!!

This was my second time in, and here is the impression of a well-seasoned marijuana user... Super expensive prices, all their rec weed is pre-portioned instead of in jars, so you can't look at what you're getting beforehand... $20 grams and $55 eighths... It's like I'm back in the 90s. Staff was somewhat friendly, but not overly helpful. Went to Sweet Leaf down the street and got way better prices and better help too. I am not impressed with the Giving Tree at all. Definitely better off going somewhere, almost anywhere else.

A fun 1st for me. Knowledgable staff that go by the rules. Three dispensaries on the block one is prob as good as another. Product was satisfactory .

Best spot for edibles and high grade strains. Their edible selection is unmatched and absolutely great. From relaxing mints, to couch lock capsules, massage oils and delicious treats, their menu is extensive. We Visited the shop on vacation to see the Rocky Mountains. I did my research beforehand and found this place to be the best of the best in Denver, Definitely go here. They have something for everybody. Will be back soon. When in Denver.. Very professional & excellent knowledge. They explained everything to us novices & led us towards some fun, playful selections for our group. The brownie bites were kinda blasé. The peach rings were fun, the chocolates were cool & the jelly bean Kush was nice.

I used to like Adam, but over the years my opinion has changed greatly. I remember back in the day, he really tried to connect with a patient and work with doctors for their individual needs. His (ex) wife was incredibly nice and his sister used to be great up front. Over time his standards seemed to drop and all he wants is the money. His sister just comes off fake and I can't believe how much he still asks for his products. I happened to be in the neighborhood and stopped in to get something quick. I picked up a couple joints, for the road and I made the mistake of thinking they would be the typical " cone" joints. Hell naw, these were thin pinner joints. Yes they sell them with the buy 3 get one but you would have to put all 3 together to make it work . I was a little put off to say the least but I didn't spend a lot of money. I know Adam probably isn't going anywhere anytime soon, I wished he would remember his roots and how he used to be when he first opened.

This was the first dispensary I have ever stopped by. They are welcoming, friendly, and pretty patient with you. I had a few questions and I didn't feel judged. The budtender was helpful and explained a lot to me. A lot of people are clueless about these things and I know they understand that! If I ever come back to town this would be the place to go.

Waited a really long time and there weren't a lot of customers... Some good bud but overpriced and the same selection of drinks/edibles/topicals as you find anywhere. This place is in my neighborhood but For the wait and the price I would go somewhere else.

i want to first start off by saying i smoke very good california weed all the time, so like any one else in that same situation i immediately asked for the best, and was shown exactly what i wanted, quality is not an issue at all, they have the dank your looking for, so this review isn't about that at all.. Instead i want to focus on the service and how well i was treated as a customer, it was amazing from a business perspective, if i got service like that every where i went i would never have a bad day..! i travel often and been to many places as a tourist and been often treated like some kind of dummy just because i'm not from there.. Quick and knowledgeable service! Walked in all confused. I was greeted right away and the gentlemen there gave me a little tour of their products. I was in and out within 5 minutes. Great people!

I'm a super critical about service, cleanliness and a friendly atmosphere. This establishment fulfills all those requirements and more. Spoke with Kendra initially by phone. It turned into an informative/interesting conversation. She was willing to spend the time, not even knowing that I would ever patronize the dispensary. Upon arriving, I met Adam and Matt (?, sorry man if I got your name wrong). Adam, like Kendra, was helpful and extremely nice. Matt was also cool and gave me pertinent facts about the products. I go out of my way to go to The Giving Tree. Their product is always top notch, with a great selection of buds of all varieties.  Hands down they have the best selection of edibles in town.  The main reason I keep going back though is the customer service. Most dispensary's are filled with either pretentious hipsters or stoned slackers behind the counter. Every employee I have dealt with here has always been amazing, willing and able to answer questions with a friendly attitude.  It is ran like an actual business. Not a group of stoners having a garage sale.  Thanks Giving Tree for being so awesome, I'll be back soon.

Everything is 5$ more than average. They display product by pouring from the tubes you buy, not a display set, onto cardstock. I feel this loses some crystals and hair every time they display the product. Counter guy was nice and very helpful.

The shop is small but I sort of compare it to a specialty wine shop to a liquor mart.  Incredibly nice people, totally know their stuff.  Decent but not overwhelming selection.  Check them out.

This was my first time buying and was a little nervous that I'd be going to a sketchy place - I searched for the top rated shops in Denver and this shop came up, I appreciated the assistance I received and the professional and chill vibe of the place. I purchased edibles- fire chocolate bar, cinnamon gummies (4 count per container) and butterfinger type candy (2 count per bag)- all for $20 each. I'm not sure if that's pricey or not so I may comparison shop. I enjoyed a smooth and easy experience and will return for that reason.

So I visited this place a couple of days ago.  Staff was very knowledgeable, respectful and just overall nice helpful people. There are so many dispensaries in denver that it seems silly to pick a single one to go to. I can say with confidence this is by FAR the best one in the entire state of Colorado. What sets it apart is the customer service and staff here and just the environment of the shop itself. This is the only place I go to and the only place I bring out of town guests to. The staff at this dispensary was very friendly and helpful, unfortunately BUYER BEWARE!!The lady behind the counter seemed to be partaking in her business before she came to the counter and, after leaving the store and returning back to my place hours away, I found she had charged me a gram worth for only a half gram sativa two times over!!!While the staff is friendly and helpful, customers should use caution when buying from this place and ALWAYS check their order immediately after leaving the store. I didn't realize the lady had stuck the full gram scamming barcode label over the half gram labeled container. Buyer should be thorough when rechecking their order!!!

Called to check prices lady tells me 288 I say for medical she said that is medical I asked if they have any oz specials and being from cali just want to see how much the snoop dogg og would run. Everything about this dispensary was great, minus the fact that I was never told of an atm fee. When I was about to purchase my products, I was told that they only accept cash or debit card. So, I used my debit card. If I was informed of the debit card fee plus the fee for using a non-bank of my own fee, I would have used cash instead. It's only $5, but it was not communicated and I felt that it was misleading. Tried to get it credited back, but their online website messaging system does not work nor do they pick up their phone.

you guys... they make this chocolate weed candy that gives you a boner.  And not like a disconnected boner, but this amazing warm, glowy whole body boner which is incredible.  look it up it's called 1906 high love, it'll seriously make you feel warm and fuzzy.  I dont smoke weed or really know much about it all.. and not sure what ladies get, but this stuff is amazing. My girl and I laughed and were having a silly amazing night... can't wait to do it again with her.

Based on other Yelp reviews I took my guy to The Giving Tree as a 'present'.  Needless to say the reviews don't lie and this place was wonderful.  Not being a card holder myself I tend to wait outside while official business is done.  The Giving Tree welcomed me right in, treated me to some non medical deserts and chatted up a storm. I just loved the hospitality that I received and my guy gave rave reviews of the medical treatment offered.  This is absolutely the place to go when looking for outstanding medical care from professionals who understand that MMJ is an actual medicine and treat it as such.

This place is a tourist trap. The entire time my husband and I were treated like this was our first rodeo. The weed was awful, tasted awful smelled awful thank God we only paid 12 a gram. The lady behind the counter kept trying to make more money off us by giving us false information. I highly suggest going to Dank Dispensary. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

It is very pleasantly apportioned, with free beverages, fruit, and other nice touches. The medicine in stock was of the very best quality I have observed in Denver. True honey oil, clear and thick as gem quality amber. The blackest Purple marijuana I have had the pleasure.. (tasted like musky lemons). Real Maui Wowie.  (Yes, I know you doubt me... You won't if you can get there soon!) Some very unique offerings in the edibles dept as well. Brewed tea with cannabis. Ice Cream, and some other items I have yet to look at more closely. There are 3 other dispensaries within a block. I hope to see The Giving Tree of Denver in business for years to come. They beautify an avenue and enrich a neighborhood.

super nice staff and i like the all organic aspect; however, i purchased a 500ml Live Neos cartridge and it leaks the juice and doesn't vape. the website for this product specifically says it's "an extraordinary vapor experience with NO LEAKAGE."  bullshit. half the cartridge has leaked out in less than 3 hours. the dispensary wouldn't make it right. never returning here again because other places have swapped out shoddy cartridges for me before. i would think a place like this (the GIVING tree) would be a little more focused on customer satisfaction but i guess not. that's how you lose customers, not win them. what a shitty deal. just all around stupid.

I've been going to the Giving Tree since 2012 and I can tell you that this is a great dispensary to shop at. First off, quality, consistency and variety are some of their main priorities so you can pretty much count on finding what you need in a one stop shop. Next best part is the employees, the owner of the business strives to find qualified cannabis industry workers who emit the same welcoming positive vibes that the Giving Tree has always been known for. Last but not least, when you shop here you are supporting a family owned local business. That means people who care about people as opposed to monetary gain churn and burns that have become so prevalent here in Denver. The Giving Tree is definitely a one of a kind gem, right off the I-70 highway, check it out! What an amazing place! Family owned business and it feels that way the moment you walk through the door. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable about their product. I only picked up edibles here and they were not only delicious but effective. :) Would highly recommend visiting TGT if you are in Denver!

This place es no bueno. There are two other shops on the same corner that will provide better prices, better quality and much better customer service. The one good thing about this place is that it's open early -8am. One joint for $15 is crazy steep. I can go next door and get three joints for $20 with the same weight in each and have a better experience with the service. The Giving Tree has that 'we're cool to be selling cannabis so we'll charge you want we want and treat you less that other shops' attitude. Avoid this shop.

Seriously. I love coming to The Giving Tree! Adam, Oak, Aleesia (sp?), that adorable short haired blonde girl whose name escapes me - each person I have met has been incredibly friendly, inviting, knowledgable and helpful. This clinic is by far my favorite in Denver, and I haven't felt the need to go anywhere else since finding them. There is always a wide selection of excellent strains (vanilla kush is my current favorite) and the walls are lined with edibles. I feel like a kid in a candy store. Visit The Giving Tree! First off, just the name of this MMD tells you that it's different from most.  The name isn't some corny marijuana-related play on words.  The name 'The Giving Tree" is from the profound children's story of the same name that is about selfless giving.  This business is a family affair, run by Adam, his wife Cindy and sister Kendra and their hairy babies.  Warm, loving, upbeat - these are people I would want to know even if they weren't selling me bud.  They make me very comfortable when I'm doing something that still makes me a bit uncomfortable. The store is very nicely decorated and intimate.  The lounge is cool with a great flat screen TV and lots of MJ-related reading material.  The store part of the store reminds me of a bakery.  The store location is very convenient and there's parking out front or in the parking lot nearby.  Prices are competitive.I know what you're thinking - yeah, yeah nice people blah-blah but what about the merchandise?  Honestly, the place is like a candy store only with bud.  Regarding basics, they have 30 plus strains, hash and hash oil, and pre-rolled joints called cones (nice and big).  One of my patients can't smoke so edibles are generally what I'm looking to buy.  They have tinctures, hard candies (yummy watermelon is the best), great crackers (rosemary-garlic cheese are so good), Twirling Hippy cheesecakes (chocolate chip are fantastic), tea bags, bottled brewed teas, punch and of course delicious sweets like brownies and cookies.The owners are very knowledgeable and seem sincerely concerned for the patients.  They have never steered me wrong.  For example, recently I was looking for something for one of my patients who has insomnia and pain because he takes high doses of prednisone.  Adam recommended Northern Lights...worked perfectly.  Also recommend this chewy candy....also worked perfectly.  This patient also has issues with depression and anxiety.  Adam recommended G13 Haze and it was right on and really did the job.  This patient also likes the cheese crackers because he can eat a few to start and eat more if needed...they really help with his anxiety.  So why waste your time anywhere else when this cool store run by cool people has it all!

I'm visiting from Ohio and had to go to a dispensary so obviously we chose to go to The Giving Tree. We had a worker Kevin help us. He was so helpful and was willing to answer any of our questions. We felt really comfortable and had an amazing experience!! Can't wait to come back and visit.

I have never had a bad experience at The Giving Tree.  The people there are very friendly, and are sincere and passionate about helping people.  The waiting room is very cozy, and they even supply drinks and snacks for people waiting.  The meds are a very good quality, and they have some awesome pre-rolls.  I recommend the Great White x ISS  pre-roll.s  Very uppity!

I went here today after reading all the reviews on yelp.   Im a tourist to Denver and had never been in a dispensary before.  It was a little intimidating when I first walked in, however I was greeted by 2 very friendly employees.  They made me immediately feel comfortable.    They took the time to explain everything very clearly.  All the workers there were super nice and made my visit extremely pleasant.  Not bad prices either!  I highly recommend The Giving Tree!

Simply the Best.  These guys know their stuff.  Adam is a great guy who really believes in his medicine.  They grow everything in organic soil and the quality is simply outstanding.  They also do the longest cure of any shop I know, resulting in the most potent buds that are just dripping with crystals, regardless of the strain.  Knowing HOW to grow is just as important as knowing WHAT to grow...and they know both!  When you want the absolute best quality, this is where you go, and all of Denver is beginning to realize this.  You should too.

The Giving Tree is one of the best, most professional and welcoming dispensaries in Denver.  Immediately you are welcomed by Kendra, a warm host whose beauty (not essential but a very big plus) is unrivaled by other intake specialists around town.  The waiting area is comfortable and Kendra's inclusive conversation makes one feel instantly at home.  Once you are welcomed back to the showroom, take your time and chat with Adam or one of the other expert advisors he has on staff.  Their level of knowledge is staggering and very helpful for anyone from the crustiest veteran smoker to the new jack.  Listen to what Adam has to say and take his advice on strains to heart.  This man KNOWS what he's doing.  This place is top notch and comes at the top of my list of recommendations.  Clean, easily accessible from all over town.  The Giving Tree is as good a care as anyone can receive anywhere!

Really friendly family own dispensary. The woman helping us was extremely patient, pointing out all her favorites while going over the legality behind buying since this was our first time coming to a formal place (I'm an out-of-stater). Just an FYI, they don't take vertical licenses due to some Colorado law. Tax take a chunk out, but that's a state thing and not their fault.

After spending about 20 mins in The Giving Tree today I decided to switch to this dispensary as my primary dispensary. I have never had such an attentive experience! The woman who helped me really listened to my needs and concerns and helped me select a strain that would be best for my medication. She put up with my endless questions and answered knowledgeably and attentively. The place is what I would call "organic and earthy," and very comfortable and clean. I tend to medicate with cartridge systems, and was very pleased to find that they had a very large selection of cartridge strains, more than I've seen anywhere else, many of which are made in house from plants they have grown organically! They have a HUGE selection of edibles if you are looking for that, including teas, candies, and food items, etc... Plus many body products, tinctures, and so much more. The desk woman (I can't remember either of the ladies' names!!) was very sweet and kind and I just felt extremely comfortable. After experiencing some things in other dispensaries that I was not happy about, I am very pleased to make The Giving Tree my home.

Get there... NOW!  Anything you want, you can get it at The Giving Tree.I live in the Highlands and have been to most of the dispensaries in the area (there's a LOT), and none of them compare. From the GREAT staff (Adam, Cindy and Kendra), to the candy, fruit and muffins to munch on IF you have to wait... and not to mention the absolute best selection of bud around.  I mean it... 2nd to NONE and around 30 top shelf strains.  Give 'em a shot... you won't regret it.

The Giving Tree of Denver speaks directly to it's name. My boyfriend and I are repeat customers because of the amazing customer service. Around Christmas we bought a neo vapor pen and recently returned to purchase a refill cartridge. When we got home, we found that the refill we purchased didn't fit our neo base. We went back to The Giving Tree of Denver and stated our problem, realizing that we probably were stuck with the cartridge but it was worth a try. Instead of sending us away, they GAVE us a new base to fit the cartridge we purchased!! Completely FREE. We are struck by their kindness and highly suggest their shop to anyone looking for a convenient and helpful dispensary!

Moved to Denver recently. Found the staff at this place insanely friendly and helpful. As a connoisseur I found the selection to be up to snuff to say the very least. Lots of really great popular strains as well as some interesting novelties. Really like the emphasis on soil growing. Really satisfied with the quality of their herb, prices, staff, location. I would (and will) go back to The Giving Tree. Not much for concentrate (save for earwax at $35/g) but my visit was shortly after the widely celebrated 4/20. Excited to taste some of their bubble hash when it's back on the menu!Although I won't be signing on a caregiver, the membership deals here seemed reasonable.

We chose The Giving Tree based on google search and great reviews. You can definitely smell the pot the second you walk in lol! Quick show of our ID and we had access to the back. Very inviting and friendly, we are 'out of towners' and had no idea what to expect with it being our first time:) The guys helping us were very knowledgable and were very helpful with any questions we had, helped us pick out some edible candies and gave us the run down on the child proof zip lock bag the state requires all your goodies to be in. It was smaller than I had expected, and for some stupid reason, I really expected to see candy jars full of candy etc; nope! Everything is packaged in something similar to a bigger pill bottle. Looked like there were some regular customers in the waiting area on our way out, so I think only a few people are allowed in at a certain time; for obvious reasons....keep that in mind if you come with friends maybe. Glad we chose this place, reviews don't lie! Thank yall for the help, we loved your store!

I had never been to a dispensary before, I saw good reviews about here, so I decided to go. The person who greeted me was very kind and patient enough to answer all of my questions. He explained what carry bags were and basically told me everything i needed to know. He was very knowledgeable on all of the products and I was very pleased with what I got. I would definitely recommend coming here.

It was our first time in Denver and we decided to give the giving tree a go. We met Adam, the store owner, who was so extremely helpful and friendly. He gave us a great rundown on all the products they had. They have a HUGE collection of edibles, one of them were different dried fruits. We ended up getting the pineapple, mango, and other various edibles. I definitely recommend the mango. Apparently there's something in mangos that keeps your high longer. I was skeptical at first, but it's definitely true! You can't go wrong with anything here. Oh! And Adam was also amazing enough to give us all these recommendations on where to go in Colorado. Touristy things that were worth visiting and places that locals love. Perfect for us, who didn't have anything planned. (I guess this isn't part of the store but we really appreciated it!)Would definitely come again!

Three hours later, and we're still raving about this place! The employees are so kind and really chill! And the owner Adam is awesome. He gave us a good rundown to help us find the right buy. We got some good edibles, with his recommendations. (Genuine recommendations! how do I know? They have their own brand of dried fruit edibles and not once did he push it). And ontop of that, we were gifted a free j. Top notch customer service. Adam really cares about customer relations. We're only in Denver for a weekend, but this will be our go-to til we are home.Highly recommended! You definitely won't be disappointed. We've been to Denver a few times, but this was easily my best experience at a dispensary. Adam went above & beyond. I'll be making a note to try the dried fruit when we return.

We don't go anywhere else!They have a wonderful selection of edibles and flower. I LOVE the selection of high CBD low THC edibles that I like for my long runs. If they don't have what I'm looking for, they get it. It's a small, locally owned business and I frequently get helped by the owner Adam. It FEELS good both supporting a small business and getting the relaxing meds I need.

Adam and team do an excellent job on many fronts! Welcoming into the shop, answering questions specific to what you're looking for (not trying to push other products), and providing reasonable & fair prices. Overall, the shop is small and intimate and not overwhelming. Additionally there is ample parking outside and on the street and it's been a pretty seemless process for me the several times I've gone. I highly recommend The Giving Tree! (no pun intended)

This is seriously one of the best shops I’ve ever entered and bought from! I saw the good reviews so I thought I’d check it out. I went in, told the guy what kind of vibe I was looking for, and he hit me with three different options! All looked delicious and frosty! The guy who helped me it was incredibly helpful and amazingly friendly! We connected, and he gave me some cool camping spots to check out! Definitely coming back to the shop. Not to mention they grow their flower without chemicals that other shops grow with.

I have been to multiple dispensaries in & around Denver & The Giving Tree is by far the best. This was my 2nd visit here. There flower is pesticide & chemical free & you can taste the difference. They have the largest edible collection around. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Make this the next dispensary stop you make, trust me, you won't regret it! I will return.

Amazing little dispensary! Prices were much better than other dispensaries I've been too. The selection was awesome considering how tiny it looks from the outside. Plus they have a different sale everyday! The girls were super helpful. I will definitely be coming back to the giving tree every time I am in downtown Denver!!

This place was awesome. I highly recommend it. They were very informative and helpful. Great prices. My woman even got a free joint for her birthday. I definitely plan on making more trips to Denver just to visit this shop.
