Had a hard time finding CBD clones this year and had to drive to Medallion Wellness from Santa Cruz.  Planted them next to the others we had growing and these acted stunted for weeks, not growing hardly at all.  Thought there might be root binding issues and carefully uncovered that no roots were even extending from the starter block (which was never even mentioned, keep reading).  Even though we have been growing for years (need CBD for our son's medical condition), we followed the suggestions/directions* that were given for transplanting by the employee when we picked up the clones (since we are not professionals and some strains, especially cbd, are finicky). (* his directions were to: either plant them (in the degradable bag and the soil in it) directly into the pot .. or to be safe he'd carefully cut the cloth bag they were in before planting) When I called Medallion, Chuck immediately started trying to talk circles around every aspect of the situation like he was the end all of growing expertise.  Diving right into how our PH and every other level we have must be off and the fact that North Modesto & Ceres water has additives in it that need to be taken into account for CBD plants ... WE ARE IN SANTA CRUZ!  When I let him know that the PH levels were exactly in the range that he said they should be, he went on to accuse us of other newbie atrocities.  It was pretty obvious that he was not going to offer anything other than the assurance that he could "plant a 6 inch clone in the ground outside right now and get 5 pounds out of it" (it's August).  So, rather than waste more of our time (he, being such a power house in the growing community, surly had another dissertation to write on North Modesto's water problems), I ended the call.  After the call, I did decide to look up the dark heart website as he suggested ( darkheartnursery.com/new… ).  And right in the PREPARING FOR TRANSPLANTING section it says "... Coco coir blocks, for example, need to be soaked and then broken up" ... the exact opposite of what we were told to do (and followed).  This bit of information was not even mentioned by Medallion's resident know it all.  I thought about calling them back.  Asking why the above and obvious problem with the block wasn't the first thing that he mentioned, let alone asking him to take accountability for his** company's actions and bad advice (**someone of his caliber must be the owner, right?) ... but, I've had enough irrelevant education on the water in Ceres for today ... maybe tomorrow?

Good prices. Could use a little organizing, or at least a more organized appearance. Staff was very nice. There was a longish wait on Friday evening, but the security guards were super cool, and that made the wait more bearable. Next time I'll be sure to use their express option before I come by. That seemed to cut the wait significantly for those who had done so.

I order here and get delivery to Tracy. They are always precise with delivery time which is super important to me as I've ordered from other companies before and have had to wait hours for my delivery! They also keep me up to date when the driver is on the way and approaching. Ordering through their website is super easy, and their customer service is always 5 stars! I will recommend your company time and time again. Thank you guys always!

I swore by this delivery service because they had been reliable. Always tipped the drivers good because I know what it is to do delivery. However, in my last order I did not receive a joint I paid $16 for & received a different cannabis container.. with nothing inside of it. To begin with I reached out approx 30 minutes after delivery to ask about the mistake. No one ever reached out. No one. I would've just brushed it off and understood if they would have acknowledged it. The fact that they didn't tells me all I need to know.

This place is garbage! Very rude and extremely unprofessional! That almost 5 star rating on Weedmaps is totally fake, if you leave an honest review that just happens to not be in there favor, they cry like fat babies to Weedmaps and have them removed, so forget those reviews, don't even go by those, stick to Yelp and Google! They can't pay to have these removed, like I stated this dispensary is total garbage, the worse marijuana dispensary in all of California!

I absolutely wish I could give this place negative stars. They are the worst dispensary I have ever walked in to. The staff was rude. Sold us Heartlets as normal clones and only charged one as the correct price. Staff would not let me accompany my wife as I had forgotten my wallet... I'm 47 and grey haired and she was purchasing. When she came out with her clones I looked at them and said "they sold you garbage take those back inside and get your money back"They said all sales final. I said that's not right, you are taking advantage of someone and selling improper products. ( I only buy dark heart and these cuttings were not a true representation of DHN products.)Anyway, the owner comes out sweating and trying to throw his weight around and tells the security guard(who was cordial and polite).. to "give us our money back and throw us the fu€k out of there"The security guard looked uncomfortable with the request. We waited for our money and the owner walked out. As we were leaving with our redund he stopped us again to apologize because he had a bad day and something happened with his family earlier, I get that.... but this whole scene was a good example of how not to run a collective.You are there for patients. And the reason patients go there is so they don't have to deal with drug dealers to get their medicine. If you want to act like that then expect bad reviews, expect to lose business, and expect no respect.This business should absolutely close its doors. The owner should go work somewhere where he does not interact with the public. He has absolutely no people skills and the unprofessional attitude in the collective is a direct reflection of the poor state of management. Close your doors. Please.

I like this place because they have great daily deals to help you with the new taxes and a big variety of flower and dabs. The bud tenders are nice and let me know what would be good for my anxiety. Always happy with the price and the high.

Bad Customer Service. I have been a regular customer of Medallion Wellness for a couple of years.  When I purchase items I always make sure to leave a substantial tip, let's say about 10%.On 02/25/19 and 02/27/19  I purchased two Heavy Hitter batteries at a cost of $16.20 each. On 02/28/19 I found that one of the batteries would not recharge.I went to the store and explained the problem, had my original receipt/packaging,  and asked if they would kindly exchange it for one that was not defective.The guy hemmed and hawed and said that he would not do so and only offered me a discount on another one. I declined to do so.I asked him if he had seen me in there frequently and he said yes.I said okay, shook his hand and said goodbye.I could have added, but did  not, that he would never see me in his store again.

This is a cool place! The lady at the front super nice  and the weed is pretty okay too. The only problem is ordering online ‍ sometimes it's a 30minute wait... other times it's 1hr to 2 1/2 hr wait....like today I order at 9:30 and was told I would receive my delivery POSSIBLY at 11:30-11-40 am IF YOUR LIKE ME AND WEED STARTS YOUR DAY THEN I WOULD SAY TO GO IN TO THE SHOP OVER ORDERS ANYDAY

First time in Modesto dispensary hopping. Usually will spend a full day in either Santa Cruz or San Jose but just didn't have the time, so Modesto it is.Visited several dispensaries, some that were really nice. We stopped into Medallion Wellness because they had clones.The place seemed unfinished and drab. Zero atmosphere and decor. Registration was painless and high tech. After leaving the waiting area, we entered the dispensary...pretty small with not a huge selection of edibles but a nice selection of flowers.Didn't see any edibles that grabbed us so we asked where the clones were and the restroom. The restroom was locked and the person with the key wasn't there. Okay, what about the clones? They got ahold of someone to take us to the clones in a different suite in the same building.The nursery was unfinished and drab, just like the main dispensary. The clones were pretty sad looking. They did have a Gorilla Glue I was wanting and it looked pretty good. They also had a Cookie Glue that looked rough but I thought I would give it a try.Got them home and within a week the Gorilla Glue went "timber". First time I have ever lost a clone. It just fell over. Upon further inspection, it seems that a half inch of the main stem coming out of the rockwool died. The plant looked okay just a portion of the stem died.I do not see myself going back to Medallion Wellness. To many better options. The staff is just a handful of guys with no design sense. No noticeable experience dealing with the public. My suggestion would be to mix up the bud tenders between male and female. Educate them. Hire a decorator and make this place comfortable. Hire a buyer with some experience dealing with the manufacturers and the growers so they can expand their line of products.Step it up and I can see this working for them. They also need to incorporate the nursery and dispensary into one location so you don't have to be escorted to another suite.

First time here and this place is awesome, I will not go back to purple lotus  unless im in that area and its an emergency but this placehas everything and much better prices, the budtender(im so sorry i forgot your name) was awesome and knowledgable from herb to tinctures. I will recommend this spot for sure to my friends

I pulled into the parking lot and was running into the smoke shop as well as planning to go into the dispensary after getting what I needed from the shop. The "security" guard walked up and told me  and told me I couldn't park there, because it was for the dispensary only. Told him I was just running into the smoke shop first and planned to go into the dispensary after and proceeded to follow me telling me "no, it doesn't matter," and harassing me to move my car. Despite having told me again I will be going to the dispensary..needless to say changed my mind. In addition, two young girls were sitting in the car next to mine with the same sign posted in front of their parking space. When I pointed this out he refused to acknowledge them and the told me that the sign doesn't apply to them. My husband and I usually go here, but after being treated in a harassing manner by the guard on duty 3/21/19, I will no longer bring my business here and recommend the same to my friends and family, the customer service here has really gone down hill

The websites misleading. Doesn't state product description. Picture shows a gram pen top for a certain price and when you go and get one its really a half gram top price. Poor customer service all the way around. Very disappointed and wont be coming back!!

The only place I go anymore....best budtenders you will meet. Everyone is always in a good mood and you won't find any better price...go on Sunday get there early on Sunday they sale top shelf shake for 20 dollars for a half oz...and it will get u high.

Meh backdoor kinda place. Menu rarely matches the in store selection. They like to do the bait and switch thing. Never really get what you pay for. The scales must br broken. The clones are usually sad and infected. So if you just need to get by with some tree this place is great. If you need quality medical cannabis products and intelligent staff, i would just head to Patients Care First.

This place is NOT 5 stars. Go to WeedMaps to read more negative reviews. 3/20/20 Trash this place is trash. I'm a medicinal marijuana user, I don't take it recreationally. I've used MANY delivery services & I KNOW the wait time & was prepared to stay home ALLLLL day. The initial text i received at 1030 said I'd receive my order 2-2:30. I thought 4 hours, wow that's fast. But after 2:30... nothing. I know how these delivery services are, so I cont to wait. At 3:15 I get a text saying they're 14 mins out. After 14 mins, I get a text saying they "are arriving now". So i go looking out the front window & I wait & wait & wait. 15 mins pass, 30 mins pass & so I call them. First the guy says he can't find my order. Then he says he doesn't even have drivers near or around stockton. Then he says, oh it was cancelled & then started blaming ME for not receiving my order. They said they came to my door but they NEVER came. Instead of trying to work things out, the person on the other end was accusatory like it was MY fault. The "manager" gets on the phone (honestly sounded like the same person) and told me to calm the f*ck down! I WAS calm, I was trying to get to the bottom of the situation! Who the hell speaks to customers/PATIENTS like that??!! So you have soooo much business, you can treat patients like that, huh? I'd be embarrassed by my employees & this place if I were the owner of this establishment. BE BETTER! Don't waste your hard earned money at this trash place!!!

These marijuana businesses were designed for medical users though probably less than 5% of the customers are handicap or disabled. Not supplying a medical customer vs not supplying a partier is a world of difference in my world, must be the same in theirs $$. Before going into Wednesday surgery I placed my order and received a confirmation number. I'm now in immense pain and I've been waiting 48 hours for my delivery. When I contacted they then informed me I need to spend $150 to receive delivery and CANCELLED MY ORDER with no phone call or text! 48 hours after confirming they were on their way now telling me they aren't coming. When I said lets spend $150 they then informing me it might be too late for delivery. F these guys. I gave them a chance to make it right and their reply was, I'm sorry but we aren't going to assume responsibility for our error..........it really is "next in line please" here. Look at the other reviews that say the similar thing happened to them. I'm in immense pain, ordered from them and they don't care! Next...........

Good selection of topicals, edibles etc for those looking for actual medical weed. I mean we all use it medically within our means, but I appreciated the large CBd to the ratios in some of the edibles. I personally don't do well with cbd for some crazy reason, some people make it in their stomach apparently, I recommend 1:1 ratio for some one that wants relief without feeling too crazy. I'm super sensitive so I felt a little paranoid, but it was totally bearable (but then again I was home alone)As for the store judging by their products and the way the delivery system is etc, I can tell they care about their customers. I've had a lot of not horrible but just meh experiences at other spots so far. The vibe was golden. The delivery system could be a little better, but it was legit

Up until today I use to go here 2 to 3 times a week. I liked it unusually short lines and knowledgeable bud tenders. Today someone new helped me and sold me on some buy one get one 1/2 off concentrates. When I got home and looked at my receipt she had charged me full price for everything. Feeling pretty ripped off right now. Wouldn't of bought what I did without a discount. Won't be coming back here anytime soon.

It's cool...& Very relaxed. But I was surprised to see a security guard there...is that a federal requirement? Some months later...Ok, didn't even think about it at first but after I went there a couple times it dawned on me about the security guards... I figured out why they're there...😆😜🤣😁😄

Not much to say... Would rather puff puff pass... Excellent customer service... In and out. Transactions were smooth as silk. PIC made it a point to keep me beyond satisfied when I was informed they were out of my 1 and only special request... I appreciate that...
