I realize tough times, but my first experience with CBCB...Simple online order of seeds and flower. Pulled up curbside, paid, and waited (although was texted that pu was ready). My bad for not checking the bag to make sure that my order matched the receipt and was correct. It wasn't and I was long gone. They had substituted the sativa seeds in my order for some random indica seeds from Equilibrium Genetics (and their were only 11 seeds at $55 for 12, you'd think somebody at EG could count, but not a huge deal).The young woman on the phone said I could bring it back for exchange/refund, blah blah blah (she was actually really nice), but too much trouble for me. I had asked for a home delivery exchange (on them), but they were unable or unwilling to accommodate.No more wake n bake for your employees, please. It ain't rocket science and I had two simple requests in my dang order! I guess I'll go back to Harborside, OAK.

I used to love you so CBCB. Felt like you stuck to being a great club even after legalization sucked the soul out of most dispensaries. Then more recently I tried to exchange a cartridge that emptied out in my purse. Nope, you all wouldn't exchange it. Today I discovered you don't take any discounts at all for medical. I get that we need a state card for state taxes, but no discount at all? Farmacy, right down the street, *is* giving medical discounts. I am super sad to say goodbye to you. But now you're just another capital-only driven company now. At least in my experience.

CBCB is the diamond in the rough of Bay Area dispensaries. The baby blue building with fish painted on the sides could not be more unassuming, side note: it turns out that it's actually a landmark which is why fish are still there. I think it looks cool either way. Having explored lots of dispensaries I will say without a doubt their range of products is one of the biggest I've seen. Except maybe Harborside but I think it's very close. When you walk in the store you're greeted by a very welcoming and speedy front desk employee (usually holding a cute dog or two). Then directed into the sales room you become very aware of a chill vibe and positive attitudes even if it's slammed. They usually have a DJ playing some great music while you plan your order. I find it's useful to go online and either place my order in advance for pickup or just plan my order before coming into the shop because it can be overwhelming how many options there are.Thankfully their budtending staff can help you get exactly what you want or help you figure out what to get if you have no idea, which has happened to me more than once. They are extremely knowledgeable and polite. They don't rush you along at all but they certainly work at an impressive speed so lines are never ridiculously long.I've been going there for 4-5 years and they have always been great to me, but admittedly my favorite aspect of CBCB is that they are constantly bringing on new products to try. I'm always excited to find a more useful product or try a new brand and they are almost adding something new every week. If you haven't checked them out I recommend you do so and if you have and didn't think it was as great I describe then I recommend going again sometime because it's always changing and always evolving.

What an Amazing place to purchase your needs. Personally I went in and the staff and mangers were just amazing! Very welcoming and attentive showing me new products, as well as accommodating my needs. I can't thank them enough they are  truly professional and for sure will be coming back here.

Super friendly staff, welcoming environment, but WOW if this isn't an expensive dispensary. 60 dollars for a half gram cart?? and no, no options whatsoever for a full gram. On eaze I can get literally the same exact brand for 40$, in a full gram version....uhm...Oh not to mention it feels as if 50% of the time your pickup order is out of stock, and you receive no notification until you reach the store.

Not coming back here ever. There are two lines curbside pick up and "walk in". They alternate both lines. I waited for an HOUR in the curbside pick up line while people just walked in from the other line. I politely asked the security guard to stop (who wasn't wearing his mask over his face) alternating the lines. I explained that I had been standing there for an hour and people were just walking in. He told me "that's just how it is" I finally get inside. They don't have the product I had ordered first of all and then supplement my papers with a brand I didn't order. Get rid of the two separate lines. They mean nothing. Or actually do curbside pick up. This was on the most frustrating costumer service experiences I've had. And I don't feel safe. Employees need to be wearing masks.Go to another dispensary, I promise you'll be disappointed here.

I have been coming here for years and everyone who works here is really helpful patient and nice. They always have what I need at a good price or with a good deal / promotion.  Easy and quick service.

Bought a pack of fuzzies sativa pre rolls bc I love how they taste but these were way off. First thing I noticed were that the joints were loose and not held by the dividers that come in all packs, didn't pay that much mind until I smoked one and it tasted like cheap pre rolls, so I broke one open and it's just dry shake, not a drop of live resin in the bud or on the joint paper.... so either fuzzies sold em messed up packs or they swapped em out for their own cheap pre rolls. Regardless in never coming back here again. As you can see by the picture.

No Parking.  Walked in and security felt an airport.  They're doing the good ol' "Debit Card Systems are down but you can pay us more by using our ATM" trick.  When will these dispensaries learn that ripping off good folks like us will only backfire?GO TO OHANA CANNABIS in Emeryville, NO FEES, NO AIRPORT SECURITY, PARKING, FRIENDLIER STAFF.  BETTER SITUATION!

Sterling the budtender so very polite.  Each time he answered my question he addressed me by my name. I loved that! Its nice to feel so welcomed. Security at the desk. He is always very very polite.

Today my wife and I visited Cannabis Buyers Club in Berkeley for the first time. We were helped by Emma who was very helpful in educating us and recommending suitable products for our specific needs. The visit was  enjoyable and we spent more than we intended to! Please be advised that this is a cash only business and you should come prepared with enough cash on hand.

I stumbled across this place today ... I'm kinda new to the area ... and after experiencing shitty service (looking at you, Eaze), inconsistent product (howdy, Hi Fidelity), and the humiliation of groveling for a spot in a super-long line for overpriced product (Harborside, anyone?), walking into CBCB is like finding water in the desert. Hallelujah!!! I've found the Promised Land!!!!!Knock out selection in every category of cannabis at a wide range of prices for each. Pre-rolls that aren't a rip off. The best music. Ever.But unquestionably the thing that will bring me back to this oasis of THC is the staff. Kindness pervades. Ask questions, and you'll get real answers instead of ambivalent eye rolling. It's just awesome. A special shout out to Flash, whose knowledge is only surpassed by the way it's offered with this patient, engaged energy.  This was the kind of experience an old stoner like me thought had gone up in smoke. Thank you!!!

They got rid of the $5 fee, and I bought a soda that cost $1.99 just to test it out. I guess they do read the reviews! The new guy that helped my friend and he was awesome and polite! Yay on the new changes! Just make sure you keep the card machine up and going. You also can only use it for free if you are using debit. They said it's a law or something which I'm cool with so whatevvs.

Let me just say, Curtis is the MAN! Talk about a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional individual. Every time I go in, I wait in line just for him. He always knows how to match my mood to the right product and introduces me to new consumables.Of course, Curtis has been the focus of this review, but it wouldn't be possible without quality product to back him up! 5 stars all around for CBCB!

I love the service at CBCB! Everyone is really friendly and makes you feel welcome. I received great service from Kyla, who helped me through a payment predicament. They are efficient and follow COVID-19 safety procedures like wearing masks and checking temperatures. Just a heads up: if you use the ATM, it only accepts debit cards, no credit cards.

This is by far the best dispensary! I called last week and spoke to the most patient, sweetest woman Elaine.  I had a lot of questions since it's my 1st time using the cannabis products.  I had so many questions  and she was so helpful and explained alot.  I needed to get something for my arthritis and she suggested the Papa and Barkley. I will definently be in to shop and see her!  Thank you for being open during these hard times!

I stopped into this club for my first visit and was greeted by a rep by the name of Curtis. He was super helpful and tentative, ensuring that I received the best experience he could provide. The quality of everything in store was beyond any other storefront that I have been to in the past and he was very knowledgable as to what I would like based on the interests I had shared with him. I was pleasantly surprised with it being my first visit and am super excited to go visit him again!! Highly recommend you go see him to get the same kind of experience that I did! Beat spot to come to for cheap pre rolls. Cannot go wrong with the 4$ joints!!!!! Staff is friendly, security guards are chill. Your in, your out, your loaded!!!!

Keeps are open as this location is right in the corner of the intersection. Great selection of heebs!!!! Fast and friendly!!! Must visit!!!

The biggest issue I have with this location is the 29/30 percent total tax charged on products. I bought a 55.00 (flower) item and the total was 70.00 after a sales tax, excise tax and local excise tax. Have a Heart in Oakland charges roughly 9 percent sales tax. Just by virtue of 3 times the tax at CBCB  (Berkeley) I would go to Have a Heart and save the money or spend on product instead of taxes!

I come here quite often because the product is top notch and the entire staff has always been so kind to me and my uninformed questions but mostly I have to say Curtis has been exemplary. He's helped me to purchase items that have gone above and beyond his knowledge off products is off the charts. His patience & humor but mostly his honesty in regard to what's right for me is so appreciated thanks Curtis please stay at CBCB, even when I don't get the pleasure of your help directly I'm always happy at this dispensary because it's just a pleasant experience from security, front desk and great music and love the merch they sell with their beautiful logo

UPDATE: Mealymouthed evasive non response from management with disappointingly blatant LIES. Seriously, someone's gonna wind up suing these people. They do not have adequate signage, as the business manager claims below - the sign is approximately 4 " x 4" and it is not clear where disabled people are supposed to wait. Disabled people are told by CBCB  to request a member of security to walk them to the front of the disabled line if they are having issues. Whenever I try to do this, I am told that they are unable to leave their posts. Management does absolutely nothing when I report poor treatment from customers and how stressful it is. Seriously, don't go here anymore. Management is lying below. The bud tenders know nothing about pain management - some of them can barely even string a sentence together when trying to help you and don't even understand how CBCB's own discount policies work. Screw this place. Spend your money elsewhere.BEWARE: ABUSIVE TO DISABLED CUSTOMERS. The next time a customer at CBCB verbally abuses me for being disabled and the staff and management do nothing, I'm going to call the cops, and if you're disabled, you should do the same thing too. Do not trust the staff or management at CBCB to help you if you are disabled. And I'm gonna tell you why. This place has turned into a nightmare, particularly for disabled customers.   I've been a customer here for just about 2 1/2 years now, and the place has plummeted downhill and turned into a nightmare, particularly for disabled customers.CBCB is a case study of how to drive customers who want to spend money with you away. I guess they're just going to have to get sued in a class action before they do something about their customers and staff being verbally and physically abusive to disabled customers.They used to have a wonderful pain consultation person there. I'm a pain patient, so the first time I went there, I had the best consultation with her and she was so wonderful in guiding me to products. Then they apparently got rid of her. There's no pain person there now - and the staff at the counter gets ruder, more arrogant, more unhelpful, and more snotty by the day. I just can't believe how bad this place has become. They have inadequate signage to let customers know that disabled people have first priority at the counter and can move to the front of their express line. Many times I have tried to do this and have been verbally and physically abused by their customers. CBCB does nothing despite many of us speaking with their managers about it over the course of the last year. It's intolerable. The prices are high, inventory is always out, their delivery inventory is ludicrous. Don't bother, please go elsewhere.

Absuloty the friendliest staff! Always greeted by security with a big smile. They make you feel right at home with the music and all the great space to relax. They have two lines(one is for customers that want to take their time) and the other is express. Very thoughtful process and happy to see it implemented so well. The bud tenders are very knowledgeable about all the products. Literally could spend hours being educated on different strands and cvs oil. Good deals as well, so happy to have this amazing establishment. Thank you for all the help you provide our community. You honestly save a lot of lives and help with the pain.

I prefer CBC over Harborside people here are really friendly as prices are reasonable.

Great prices and variety of products. Staff are friendly.. Gave this place four stars only because there's usually a long wait (30 minute line) if you do not order online.

This used to be my favorite club.Last time I went there they charged me $563. For 1 oz of what i was told was $30. an 1/8 buds.I kelps asking the person working how much it was an 1/8. I also asked for a gram of gold drop. So when I get home with my receipt I find no gold drop. Plus half the bud was one price the other 1/2 was twice that. Same strain. This club no longer cares if you come back. I'd rather take my chances buying from a dealer. No tax, no underhanded BS like this.You guys should be ashamed I gave this collective a 5 star 2 years No thank you. I don't need to come back to see that your standards have changed. This seems like a ploy to get me into your store. At no time have you taken responsibility for the fact that your bud handler did not make himself clear on my purchase. Not to mention I thought there was a gram cartridge of oil and that's why it was more than I'd pay for an ounce.

CBCB has been my go to dispensary for a long time. They have a great range of products. I got especially good service from Curtis and appreciate all the knowledgeable and kind staff there.

I submitted an order for 8 cartridges via your online ordering  system.  Per your calendar, there was suppose to be buy 2 cartridges and get 1 free.  I also called twice and the people who answere said if i put my order in between 3 to 6pm, they would honor the sale.  I actually arrived at your store at 545pm.  When i got there imy order was ready and asked for 3 more cartridges.My total purchase included 11 artridges so i was expecting 5 free cartridges because of buy two get one free.When i went to pay sales, the lady asked her manager about the sale, and the answer was that the vendor did not show so no buy two get 1 free.I drove from Pittsburg for the sale that was published via instagram.  Please see the attached screen shots. I believe CBCB should honor the sale as published.Update 10/19/17 : since then, CBCB honored the 2 for 1, then gor ny free cartridges.

I have shopped at CBC for about five months now.  The service is good.  The other day a guy named Alex there was amazing.  He took the time to guide me through the set up for rewards online and saved me forty dollars.  He was cute too. Lol.

I've been coming here since they opened and have always adored every employee. They always have such honest eyes. Budtender Mike not only was memorable because of his endearing/beautiful eyes, but his patience and assistance with my sniffing process. Mikes hair fade abs smile were memorable too. Lol CBCB gets my juices flowing in more ways than one always.

Curtis was so much help and answered all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and was able to help me confidently make a choice.

I've been coming to this place on and off over the years, and I've had mixed experiences...First off- don't trust their menu; they don't update it.Secondly, I dealt with two pretty rude employees today; one in person, one on the phone. Neither were the least bit friendly, helpful or apologetic for their menu being wrong. I didn't buy anything, but I did leave with a glare from the annoyed guy at the counter and a condescending attitude from the woman on the phone. Neither made any attempt to look into things, or double-check that they were in fact out of the item that both their In-House and online menus said they had in stock...(How can you show an item - and give the option to order it online - when you don't even have the item in stock?)I've encountered  employees at this place that genuinely knew what they were talking about, and seemed to have some respect for their job, and the customers.These two individuals did not have those qualities....However - they were rude, condescending, and indignant!

When I first started going here about a year ago, I was so impressed with the level of service I received. My first two or three budtenders were knowledgeable, friendly, and seemed genuinely interested in making sure that I got what I needed to help with sleep and joint pain. The service was so above and beyond what I had received at other dispensaries, I decided that CBCB was now my go-to dispensary, even though it's farther away.During my last few visits, though, the service was really lackluster, and the service I got today from the bored, dark-haired young woman was simply sub-par. They no longer carry the one product that has been the best I've found for sleep and she didn't have any recommendations for alternatives. I ended up just asking for something that I hope will work, but if it does, it was not due to any help from her.  So, five stars for the service I've received before, and three or less for the recent service.

dont be fooled their prices are not high because of amazing product or service.  their prices are high so they can pay rent and bills unlike a delivery service whom doesnt have storefront as overhead they can offer same product for way less.  CBCB is extremely expensive compared to alot of deliv comp.

I went about 2 weeks ago and they had security checking temperatures at the door which I really appreciate! It was during the week so I didn't experience a long wait. It was my first time at a dispensary, Lily helped me out and answered all my questions. I just got through all of the products I bought, definitely going back!!

Now I remember why I stopped shopping here. Placed an order online. Went to pick it up. One item was not in stock. The person who is getting my order Asked me if this is for dabbing. Yes I say this is for dabbing. She says I have a sugar from Nasha. How about I substitute that? I say yes I like Nasha's extracts. That will be fine. I get home. This is nowhere near a sugar. The packaging states that it is Nasha's lowest grade hash powder suitable for sprinkling in joints, not for dabbing. I do not smoke flowers. This is useless to me. Either the person who was waiting on me knows nothing about the products they are selling or was comfortable just lying to my face.

Curtis really knows his stuff. Helped me find some CBD flower at a good price. This spot is pretty legit.

CBCB is an east bay classic. I went in recently for some high end dabs and I was not disappointed. My budtender's name was Megan, she was very friendly and knowledgeable. She directed me towards some rosin and it was FIRE!!! If you're looking for a chill spot with good service and excellent selection, look no further.

I really like this place. Small, nice selection, great staff, good recommendations and great products. Found a great lotion for muscle strains and the prices are reasonable. Enjoy supporting a local business that is doctor recommended.

Excellent experience at CBC Joseph B was extremely helpful. He was very knowledgable about the product and was also patient with me as a newcomer. There's a great selection here and wonderful service!

I LOVE this place!  I typically go to clubs/dispensaries in SF and the East Bay, but have found the bud tenders here at CBCB to be the most knowledgable and friendliest around!  My favorite bud tender is Alex, and I will typically wait until he is available so I can pick his brain. He is truly a scholar and a gentleman. The selection and quality of every type (flowers, edibles, pre-rolls, etc) is by far the best I've seen.  You can always find something new and the vast price range makes it easy to find something that suits my budget.  For example, they have eighths ranging from $15 up to $70, and consistently have 4 or 5 eighths that cost $15.  Yesterday they had one for $10.They have both digital menu boards and hard copy menus at the counter, making it easy to peruse through their vast selection.  Keep up the great work CBCB!!!

Today we went into Cannabis Buyers Club with the intention of buying some wonderful ingredients. Luckily, we ran into the most helpful worker: Curtis. He was immensely helpful in finding the flower we desired and recommended the highest quality edibles. Thank you Curtis.

Good prices, the people that work here are knowledgeable and are always nice to me. I know it's their job but sometimes people have bad days, haven't experienced that with these people. There's sometimes bands playing music here and selling other things or just marketing which is nice to see. I think the line moves relatively fast they seem to have enough staff on hand at all times and the only thing I can think to say would be that the parking sucks but I guess the sales that they often have make up for it. I like this place and I voted for them in the best of east bay express because you can accumulate points, get a discount if you're a vet and all kinds of other perks. You can only buy one oz. per day lawfully and I think that's corny simply because flower take a long time to go bad so if there's a sale you can't have all that you wish to have, just what you're limited to. No ones fault but the government. I never knew this place was here and now I know. I've been here at least 5 times. They open at 9 am and close at 9pm which to me seem to be great hours of operation. Decent size selection they always have stuff for people on a budget as a new customer i was given a free pack of rolling papers.

Love this place for the cheap product and customer service but I'm going to have to give it only 1 star because the security guards are the worst. My girlfriend and I have been harassed several times by them. I've been harassed by them coming up to me while I'm in my car ready to leave telling me to turn my car off but I'm just about to leave. They keep telling you where you can't park even though it's a parking spot and IT IS a parking spot, not a red zone. They are so mean to you whenever they can.

First time to any dispensary.  Didn't know what to expect but it was easy.  Came here last night, walk thru, they scan your ID. and in you go.  Open the door and ta da, a big room and you wait in line to get to the counter.  Luckily, there was no line on a Friday night..bonus for us. The lady behind the counter was friendly and helpful.  It was our first time so you just ask what you need.  I am not a pothead or even a recreational user, but I believe in holistic medicine and wanted a cream for my back as I pulled my back recently,  Also, I wanted something edible that would help me sleep when i needed it.    They had what I needed and looking forward in trying it out.  I take cash or debit card only, so bring one or the other with you.  Definitely be back if I needed anything else.  It was not as scary as I had thought.

Great place. Everyone is knowledgeable and professional. They have the tincture that I love. Sometimes I try other spots but now I just go there first. I think it's a bit cheaper there too.

A couple days ago I called the store and had lots of questions and a very nice woman named Elaine helped me out. She gave me perfect instructions and was very knowledgeable. So, later I came in the store for the first time and everyone there was lovely and patient with me. Will be coming back very soon. Just thought I'd write a review since the service was excellent.

I went to cbc again today for my Corona lock up needs and even though it's a global virus it's good to see that all the employees were great with customer service and the cashier that helped me again was Mike, smiling as always and was very helpful. this place never fails.

Great service Fitz knows what he's doing and is very inteligente and knowledgeable in the concentrates. He helped me with all my question & got me the medication my husband was looking for to get some sleep. Great workers makes a great business, I will definitely be coming back thanks to Fitz!

Curtis and Kristina are always a delight. They are fast, knowledgeable and efficient. I will definitely be looking out for them every time i come to CBCB. They are two of the best employees here.

Thank you CBCB for your Compassion Program. I'm not sure what I'll do without the Love. The Staff is Very Friendly and Possess a lot of Patients. The Weekend Lines are always long due to the legalization of recreational use of meds. I'd recommend researching and ordering online before going into the dispensary, it'll save a lot of time and I'm sure the Staff will appreciate getting you your requirements in a timely fashion.The Set up is really comfortable and relaxing. CBCB is awesome. I stopped by this afternoon to get a couple pre-rolls; and Curtis was super helpful. He let me know which strains were available, and provided the friendliest of customer service. I love CBCB and their friendly and knowledgeable staff!

I always have so much fun coming here. Curtis always brightens my day with his singing. And Kristina is always so kind. I've been a long standing member of this dispensary. And it's helped me greatly with my lower back pain. You guys have been a godsend, spread the word!!

They apparently sell pot, and since that seems to help people - I'd say that's unarguably a 5 star endeavor.

Again with this place. They have zero compassion and they suck at customer service. In the land of covid, I stood outside for 15 minutes waiting to get in. Once inside I made a quick selection only to find out that their card payment system was down. It was the only payment I had available, so after the long wait I had to.leave empty handed. Good customer service would have been telling the people standing in line that their paymemt options were limited, but CBCB socks and communicating. They will waste your time. Don't waste your money, go somewhere that actually communicates with people. Jerks.

The service here is top notch! They really do care that you are getting what you want, and if you don't know what you want, they can help you figure it out. The workers there also know the products very well too. I'm thinking they have tried close to all the products they got. As of now, with the legalization of recreational weed, lines can be pretty long after work. If you want to get edibles, I recommend going soon after their recent shipment because they run out fast. This place has virtually everything you can think of. Flower, chocolate, candy, edibles, gummies, honey, tea, oils, pre-rolled joints, bongs, pipes, etc. Things are a little pricey, but you can get a 5% student discount. Tax is like 25% so be ready to pay that much haha

Worst.Customer.Service. I have EVER experienced at a Cannabis Club. The Bud Tender talked to me like I was behind on a house or credit card payment and not as if I was a customer. The selection isn't the best either, compared to the countless other clubs in the Bay Area. I would only recommend CBCB as a last resort destination, if that. There is too much competition in the Bay Area to be treated that disrespectfully by their staff.

After frequenting  a few of the clubs between Oakland and Berkeley, I have to tell you this is my favorite. The diversity of the menu; the wides spectrum of price ranges and potency Etc, really sets it above the rest. There are a couple of other great shops, don't get me wrong, but they don't have nearly the wide array of choices! CHOICES MAN! ITS ALL ABOUT CHOICES! I just walked out with 2/8ths of Kick-Ass high-potency flowers; total with tax and my military discount $47.

I have been going to CBCB for years. Very convenient location. Limited off-street parking. Parking a few blocks away is always good exercise. Knowledgeable and helpful bud tenders. Had an issue one time. Management is very responsive to concerns and issues. As with all cannabis shops, the wait time has increased a lot since the beginning of this year. They do try to give med patients higher priority when making purchases.

Jason Jason Jason...what a great guy!  I went in hoping someone would give me a little time to tey to help me understand a bunch of products I had recently purchased for my little girls seizures and anxiety.  Jason was sooo knowledgeable about the products and so patient with me.  I truly appreciated it because this is all out of my area of knowledge.  Thank you again Jason for helping a mom out.

Came in today to grab a 8th and few pre-rolls. Although things are a bit hectic it was nice to see a familiar face and to be helped with the same awesome customer service I'm used too whenever i come to CBCB. Thanks again to  Kristina for being awesome and suggesting some nice pre-rolls to get me through the weekend.

I'm a legal operator in this industry and today CBCB again proved to me why I chose to buy a variety of the best brands, cultivars, heartfelt suggestions, a community of people inside that reflects the fiercely independent and liberating progress community of Berkeley.Today Emma was my bud tender.She quickly assessed my objectives and needs with regard to dab rigs.She didn't oversell and I left with just the right puff co nail.The heart of cannabis is people and CBCB has incredible people, products, and vibes.

I had/have a problem with the rewards. But when I left message the message was read an responded too really fast!!   I can tell they DO care about they're customers an for that reason I'm willing to continue to return.. Hopefully this situation finds a solution..

As others have noted, as of recent the service is really declining. I order online so I can do a quick stop to pick up and go, right? Not quite. If you order online, you're put into the same line as anyone else that walks in. So what's the point? With this market getting more and more competitive by the day (both retail sore fronts and online) they would do best to step it up.

Good products, high, high prices, bud tenders make frequent mistakes and are not knowledgeable of the inventory. I swing by sometimes, but the place is overpriced and under delivers

Great products and customer service! There $6 cbd pre rolls and $60 cbd 1/2 of an o are my go to to relax and enjoy life. Great customer service!!  and they carry cheap cbd! I am a loyal customer and greatly appreciate the cbcb team!

My mother was looking for an alternative to pharmaceuticals to manage pain from cancer metastasis. Kiaron was extremely compassionate and spent at least 15-20 minutes consulting with me on various edible alternatives, their dosages, and how and when to take them. I was impressed that he stressed that each person is different and that it would be a process of discovering what works best for her.  The prices here seemed reasonable.

i wanted to love this place, because of its mission statement (and because it's close to my house), but i don't.  i do like it well enough, however.the front line/outside staff is unfriendly and inattentive.  you say "hello" or "good afternoon" and they literally say NOTHING in return and don't even look at you.  they are dry and cursory in their responses if you have questions.  not a smile or friendly vibe among them in the several times i've been there.  the club seems overdosed on security, and all i've ever seen those employees do is talk amongst themselves and stare at their cell phones, almost to a person (one guy is an exception, but i think i've only seen him there once).  i'm not sure why they are needed or how they are effective at securing the place.once inside, the inside/showroom staff is much, much more friendly and helpful.  there is one who has served me a couple of times and, like those outside, seems to be droid or something, showing not a trace of humanity on her face the entire time she is servicing you; but she is the exception.they have an nice array of products of all types, and will readily take time with you to explain whatever you don't understand or want to know.  prices are in line with those at the rest of the cannabis stores, and they even have a discount bin; as someone with financial challenges, i am always glad to see that.they only accept debit and cash, and but their card processing machine was down for quite some time recently (several days), so if you didn't have cash you had to use their ATM machine and pay a fee, or leave and come back with cash.  that was an inconvenience and a hassle, and just made more money for them.  (a truly customer-oriented business would have waived the fees, since it was their problem that the machines were down and they didn't get them back up in a timely manner.)  in any case, i guess most of these businesses don't accept credit cards, which is probably due to problems with the banking system and regulations, but i prefer to have all payment options available when i shop.so i would not encourage a special visit to check them out, but personally will continue to shop there when i have cash and need to get something last minute, and don't have time or whatever to get to another place.

Tonight was my first visit, and I doubt I'll be back. When I was waiting in line, I had my phone out so I could read the menu online. It's posted on the wall, but the print is super tiny, and it doesn't show all of the information I needed. I wanted to have my order ready by the time I got to the registers, just to save some time, as I can be very indecisive. One of the workers glared at me and yelled "No phones on the floor!" I was very embarrassed, especially when people turned to look at me... my anxiety skyrocketed. My heart beat faster. Not a good first impression, that's for sure. The receptionist didn't tell me about any rules or regulations, so how was I to know?I said sorry and put it away immediately, but I felt very foolish and wanted to leave right then and there. The fellow who helped me was actually pretty nice, so I'll give this place a 3. The customer service is very hit or miss, but they do seem to have a decent selection. It's cash only, but there is an ATM on site.

Love this place! Super nice staff. Friendly and dank smells. They make you wait in a brief line outside (when it's popular) and then a longer line inside. If you don't have a medical card they will put you in the Adult line. The staff helped me with all my questions. And gave me a freebie after spending over $50!

One stop shop for your marijuana and then some needs. There is sometimes a line, esp on weekends. I recommend going through a weekday or off time. Though, the line goes pretty quickly- you shouldn't wait outside more than 10 minutes. They are fully (or close to it) staffed during business hours. The staff is more than helpful and willing to discuss their menu- don't be shy to ask! They also give you pre-rolls for every $50 spent- awesome deal! They have an ATM inside but you can pay with credit/debit as well... don't forget your ID!

I don't smoke anymore, but a friend recently visited the Bay Area and said he couldn't find any dispensaries in SF. I recommended this place and they took "good care of him" so to speak. Also this place is super friendly, you don't need to make your friend wait outside if they don't have a rec, they can come in as long as they are 18 and have a DL.

As a Dutchman from Amsterdam I came to California with a dose of scepticism with respect to the quality of U.S. cannabis products compared to the Dutch produce I grew up with. After visiting a few dispensaries here that image started to change. Yet it was only when I discovered CBCB that I became convinced us Dutch could actually learn a thing or two from our American brethren. The reason for this is twofold: first of all CBCB has an extraordinary product range -from flowers, to CBD infused tea and everything in between. Second, and just as important, is the excellent service I have received at CBCB. You're received by true bud tenders who know their trade very well despite its novelty. One bud tender in particular stands out: Jacob. I've been deeply impressed by his extensive domain knowledge as well as his customer focus. Could not recommend more.

My favorite bay area dispensary! Huge selection of flower, edibles, concentrates, and medicinals. Fair prices on everything, with everyday deals on lower-quality product ($55/half ounce, $15 eighths, 10% off discount bin). Budtenders are knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. Usually 3-6 budtenders working, so there's never a long wait. Security guards outside are incredibly nice! We came here on a Sun around 4:30pm. The place actually didn't appear to even have their name on the bldg out front. We had to wait a few moments to go in since they were a little busy.  We got 1/2oz of Mango Indica $80, and 1/8oz  of the Cookie Crush $52.25 The guy helping us was very sweet and seemed totally stoned, since he could not seem to remember anything. He was nice enough to give us a 5% senior discount.

This is the very last time I spend money in this place! Been going here for 2+ years and theres been issues but nothing that wasnt resolved. This day of all days that changed. Not only did they have the crappiest deals but because of the "volume" of customers they werent honoring the tax free deal on state recs. WHAT THE FUCK?! When i got my total I side eyed it, why am I paying $100 on a $60 purchase?! A closer look at my reciept and I literally have $37 worth of taxes!!! When I bring this to their attention they pointed out what I previously wrote. Great, that would have been nice to know before I wasted my damn gas when I could gave easily called the dozens of reliable delivery services instead. Im reading these 5star reviews and laughing. One half is coming from what I call poser smokers that wouldnt know quailty if it smacked them in the face and the other half is from profiles with that being the one review hmmmmm. This is the first instance that since the expeirience with them was so bad, that I actually just picked up from another club just so my vibe would be back on track for the festivities Im part taking in today! So yea, if you want to get ripped off , as a state medical rec holder no less, dont bother, make your money work for you and give it to people who will care. CBCB aint it. Peace.

I'm so tired of "legal" weed.4th time I've been shortened.  It doesn't matter what you pay for your flower.  15 or 60.  The facts are suppose to be the same.  If it says 3.5 or even 4 grams.  That is what it should be.Getting shortened by prepackaged weed.  When you tell them, they ask you to come back.  Then they take your package and weigh it in another room where you cannot see anything.How am I suppose to feel safe as getting what I payed for?  I have several scales and they all read the same?  Am I suppose to believe the scale they use is "accurate" bcz they tell me they get it serviced X amount of times..... Yet, I cannot see with my own eyes what the weight is and trust them, how?Then they want to tell you to come back in so they can take care of you?  Been there, done that.  Tell me how am I suppose to trust you or your growers.  Give me a prime example why I should not go back to the street pharmacy.  At least with them I have a choice of baggies whereas your clerks grab me 1 of their own choosing  from the shelf.  I'm sure shit would change for your own business if people got that choice.I want what I pay for on the visit I am on.  I should never have to go back to make sure I get what I pay for......People, by a couple of scales.  Stop trusting your "legal" pharmacy when it comes to flower.

I'm writing this for my son, he went to CBCB on Monday 11/28/16, he purchased the chocolate twinkie 1200mg for $22.00.  We live in Antioch and he had taken BART out to the club.  When he got home and opened the package, one of the twinkies were moldy with an date of 10/11/16, he called immediately he explained he had been there and what he had found.  They told him to put it in a ziplock bag and bring it back when he came in again.  He got a ride yesterday 11/29/16 took the moldy product back....He said he opened 4 other packages on site with the same problem and dates were old, he finally found 1 that was ok and had the latest date.MOLD IS NOT COOL AND CAN CAUSE ALL KINDS OF DISTRESS IN FOLKS WITH ALLERGIES.They did not offer to give him something for his troubles, This is just wrong on so many levels and I do hope that others will look over their edibles and check the dates.

One of the best Cannabis clubs I've been to yet ! I came in the other day and was helped but a wonderful young women by the name ofGaby. She was absolutely wonderful , she was very intelligent and seemed to be very well informed on the products that they have. She was a great seller , very friendly, as well as very helpful. They had a great wide variety of great products and she helped me find products for my own very needs. I will definitely be back !

Been coming here once a week for over 4 years, (spending over $100 each time I go) and watching it decline drastically. Seem to be hiring more and more pompous egos.  have had several issues in the last couple of months. here are just a few.New Clerk, Shitty Attitude:I normally get a student discount here, it's something you have to ask for and they don't give it to you automatically. no biggie, I usually politely ask "do you guys still give the student discount?" I ask this even tho I know they do have a discount cause it's nice to not assume and sound like a demanding jerk. so my student ID and my driver's license are right next to each-other and the asshole of a clerk rolls her eyes at me while waving my IDs in the air and says " uh, yeah, I can see that". she clearly was annoyed that I mentioned it, and clearly put her disapproval it on display. Nice to see she appreciates that I just spent over $150just in that one visit.Laziness:So I normally call before I go in when I'm looking for a particular product they carry. now the reason why i call, is because until recently they had no online menu available. at least not any reliable ones.  Now its work mentioning when they are out of this product they are sometimes out for over a month, so its defiantly worth calling so I don't wasn't time, money and gas going here and standing in the long lines at CBCB only to find they don't have any your looking for.Now 50% of the time they hate it when you call to ask about a product. So the lazy women on the phone tells me they don't have this product but a much different variation of it. I further describe what I'm looking for and she says that it does not exist that "what we have is what have". basically tell me to fuck off.I could hear the laziness in her voice (did not want to check for me at first, then did a half ass job of checking) so i had a feeling that they actually had the product so i deiced to head over. lol an behold they had the product she claimed does not exist. On the way out i waved to her with the product in hand and she couldn't not even make eye contact. she knew she looked like an idiot and in turn made CBCB look bad.Religious Bullshit:In the many years I've come here this place has been a place of openness and acceptance. They never, ever decorated or celebrated ANY religious holidays. Ever. which is awesome and great. Now the place if full of lame Judeo-Christian bullshit all over the place. Disgusting. If you recognize one or two you have to recognize them all and they are way too many . That's why it's best to just leave that shit alone so EVERYONE can feel included. Including those who don't have a religion at all.CBCB, you have lost my weekly contribution of over 4 years. No longer will spend my money here. You guys used to hire polite, knowledge people. Whomever has taken over your hiring process is not doing doing well, otherwise this means you guys simply fell off all together.I don't recommend his place if you expect to be treated as a valued customer, even if you're a regular.

This place has complementary coffee and tea at any customers disposal, which was my first good impression. I even got a free donut which was delicious. My wait wasn't too long like I've experienced at other clubs. Curtis helped my out in a very quick and efficient manner. The quality of the foxworthy farms flower vs the price is insane to say the least. I was extremely satisfied and I'm glad I decided to give cbcb the chance it deserved.

This used to be my favorite club to come to, good prices, good product and friendly staff. However I've since been disappointed as I tried to use some of the rewards that I'd accumulated nearly $30, I'd been saving for when I had some cash but not enough. When I asked to use it a month or 2 ago I was informed that the policy recently changed and you have to have a certain amount to use the reward. I was highly irritated to have not been warned prior to picking up my order without stopping at the bank. I think it's pretty messed up to have changed this policy with no warning and am not sure I'll go back as I no longer feel like a valued customer.

Open until pretty late which is a huge plus!!  Recently went for my first time, and was greeted in such a friendly manner...the girl at the door announced I was a first timer and the security guys all clapped and cheered.  It was a nice little welcome, like I was getting off the bus at a Club Med, The vibe was mellow and Berkeleyish, patrons were well behaved and there were numerous lines attempting to streamline the wait process.  The menu was extensive and varied.  There were so many edible options! Many small bakeries and artisan purveyors I have never come across.  My budtender surprisingly had a great memory, as I listed off almost a dozen things I wanted, and he came back with all of it, or offered suggestions for anything they were out of.  The prices were good, better than what I normally pay in SF, and they tossed in a tiny first timers j & edible.There were tables with bowls of fruit on them, and the neighborhood is not sketch at all.  Very nice first time experience and would go back for a late night purchase or when I am in Berkeley.

I have tried a lot of clubs and CBCB is the best for PRICES and flowers. After everything went legal, clubs no longer cater to patients. Everyone except CBCB. They ALWAYS will have a deal. I went to another place, 65 for an 8th with 20 % THC. I went to cbcb, and found a deal 15 bucks for a flower with 23% ! And the security guard KP is awesome. He is always up beat and aware the surroundings.l  have a disability and he Always comes to my car and makes sure i get in and out safely. CBCB is definitely the place to come for all of your needs.

I bought a $30 joint on my way out of town and when I opened it, the tube was empty. When I mentioned that the next time I came in they said "I should have shaken the tube". On the same trip I bought a dab torch which is also now failing. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Came here to check out local businesses and was met with superb hospitality. Sarah had a lot of information at the front the desk and the budtenders in the back had great energy.

Decent selection of edibles (my preference) and AFAICT a variety of smokable options as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking could be iffy, depending on your timing, but we've fared alright.

I have been to CBCB a few times and I have to say that the entire staff is great, from security to the people working behind the counter. Very helpful and knowledgeable, I was helped this last time by a young man named Curtis and he was awesome. He helped me figure out what I was looking for even if though I couldn't remember the name of it and also gave me insight on some new stuff. Good job CBCB with ur staff.

Kristina helped me when I went in last - she was super knowledgeable and helpful with my selection. Knew all the nuances of the strains and was really friendly the entire time I was trying to determine what I wanted. She gave me honest reviews of the buds and overall is a rock star.

Nice, clean, friendly, good security. For my first time at a dispensary it seems exactly what i would expect at one. Mind you i am over 50 and a first time buyer. They answered questions and recommended product. I will happily return.

I have been going to CBCB almost every week for about 6 years now, so when I write a 2 star review you know it's with great sadness.  Legalization made this shop suck.  The weed is lower quality, the prices are higher, the lines are longer.  But most importantly (also weirdly), the people are shadier.  Yes, that's right.  Since legalization a month ago this shop has started doing all sorts of shady tricks.  They let me look at a cherry-picked "display bud" that looks great, then they go get the herb I'm buying from the back, and lock it in the display case until I'm done paying.  One clerk cautioned me "Do NOT look at it until you're out ofthe store!"  When I opened it to look anyway she got angry.  And it's the same faces too.  The same budtenders who used to act like normal shopkeepers are now acting shady like drug dealers.  I have been going to CBCB almost every week for about 6 years now, so it is with great sadness that I now have to find a new shop.  You should do the same.  You can find a better place than this one.  This shop legit earned its 2 star review.  I am deducting a further star for that stupid "child proof bag" crap.  Yes, I know it's the law, and it's still too stupid to do.  You want your 1 star back?  Change the law.  Lobbying works.

I had such a great experience with MJ last night, I brought my friends who just got their Med cards and informed MJ I was super excited to show my friends CBCB, she was so dope and super informative if the strains and their strengths and effects. Truly great experience! Thanks MJ! Def coming back with more people.

Come here regularly and just want to give special thanks for Nathan and MJ's exceptional service lately. Nathan was so informative when we had plenty of questions about trying new products and worked with us patiently to make sure we were fully informed and satisfied with our purchase. On a separate occasion, MJ was so helpful when it came to our budget - she knew really quickly which products would work for us and which wouldn't within our criteria. Ultimately, we most appreciated the honesty they maintain with their customers and the knowledge they have about their work. Thanks again Nathan! Thanks again MJ!

I have spent so much money here over the past year and I completely regret it now. I will not step foot in this place again. The only 2 good things about this place are the menu variety and the few security guards who are friendly. I didn't use to think their customer service was bad... but I've talked to 3 of my close friends who are medical marijuana patients and they agree with me that the people who work behind the counter are extremely rude and seem to not give a shit at all. Patients Care Collective and Hi-Fidelity in Berkeley are way better and their employees make you feel welcome instead of awkward. Also I don't carry big bills of cash all the time. So when I go in there, I expect at least one of the two ATM's to be working. But nope. Every time I go in there, something is not working - whether it's all the debit card machines or both ATM's. I won't recommend this place to anyone anymore. I used to be a huge CBCB lover but clearly my mind has changed in 12 months.

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU CARRY CASH. CBCB used to be my go to place. No more.EVERY time I've gone there the past couple of months the debit system is down. Same thing today. The extra special surprise? The atm machine is down. Maybe they could make it MORE difficult to buy something from the store. If you don't change these things you will continue to lose business.

I hit up the CBCB yesterday & picked up a half gram of blueberry kush  wax, a gram of Fire Master wax, Skywalker Shatter, Cheeky Monkey strips, and a Sungrown Sativa cone. The joint quickly relieved my neck & shoulder pain while uplifting my mood & clarity for the trek home. I still have about half the joint left having dosed 2-3 hits three times yesterday.When I got home, I tried the blueberry kush wax & was immediately disappointed that I didn't grab another half gram. It was delicious & fruity & smooth, like biting into a bluberry tart but without the discomfort of overindulgence.  The effect is stoney & sleepy & perfect for night-time use.

This place rocks! I've only been to two dispensaries in Richmond and I came to this location in Berkley when the usual places I go were closed early. But this place closes at 9 which is awesome and a life saver! They have so much variety it's crazy I couldn't process it almost lol. Definitely will come back 100 times!

Amazing customer service.  Unfortunately, an issue arose with my purchase.  Even though I had to wait in line to speak with a manager (which, it's the weekend of 4/20 so I expected as much) they immediately took care of me.  Will absolutely go there again!

Hey hello this was my first time ever into this cannabis club. An the guy named Fitz who worked there gave me the best customer service that I hadn't never had. He helped me with questions and gave me the rundown on which or what not to takes. He is just a awesome person

I first visited CBCB about two years ago. I was not very impressed, which is why I didn't return until today. My friend had raved about this place so I decided to give it another shot. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed and in fact, remembered why I never returned after that first visit. I came in this morning very polite and curious about what deals they had and how I could get the most for my buck... However, the person helping me today was just as rude as the person two years ago. I asked if they sold displays, like the only respectable dispensary in Berkeley (BPG), to which the guy threw a box in front of me overflowing with displays and told me to choose. No explanations, nothing. I kindly thanked him and took my business elsewhere.I left this place feeling annoyed and regretful that I even tried. Needless to say, I will not be back, and neither should you.

This review isn't for the products, which are great. It's about the line. 8pm on a Friday night (yes I can see how that was dumb) and the "full service" line literally hasn't moved in 15 minutes. I have been here since 7:30 and they're on the third customer. I blame both the employees and the customers. The customers couldn't be more self-absorbed. The guy in front of me needed 12 minutes to buy an eighth. He had 37 questions, at last count. The employees don't show any inclination to interrupt someone and say, "So, is that all?" Instead the guy just keeps talking and talking and talking (the employee!), like he's selling a Ferrari. It's so obnoxious. Please make friends somewhere else.

Not worth waiting in line outside and inside and rushed through with products flashing too fast too read like a sloppy drive through except your on foot.

I only have great experiences in this space. It's awesome. Great customer service: So far my favorite clerk is Megumi. She was very thorough, patience and knowledgable about everything. It was great talking to her.  Overall, felt like I had a personal clerk who was interested in helping me find what works for me. I won't deny that it feels like that with everyone. So you can't go wrong. Vibe: the entrance is not as spunky or intriguing as the inside but it's not an eye sore or anything. The bathroom smells nice and is super clean. That's a plus in my book. It shows that they care about all aspects of cleanliness in my view. I don't feel rushed and everyone down to the guards are kind and welcoming. The place is brightly lit and open. All smiles over there! Inside & Options: super organized, big and clean. I feel like I had more than enough options to choose from. I'm really happy that I found a paper menu to look at instead of standing in line so I can decide. Haven't sat on the couches yet but they look comfy. I did wish that they had some sort of activity we could engage in or a class on "intro to cannabis". I'd be there all day. Downside: $3 charge for debit card transaction.

The staff is always friendly & helpful to any questions asked. They offer solutions if needed.  Always letting me know if something isn't in stock etc

From the first time I visited the staff has been super nice and helpful with great recommendations. They have a great selection, super fair prices, and a convenient location for me! Most clubs are either stuck up or sketchy, but this spot makes you feel right at home. A+

I love CBCB for their quality products, but sometimes their customer service is ridiculous.My boyfriend and I walked into the lobby and as he went to the front desk I sat down in one of the chairs to wait for him. He decided to have me order the Lyft ahead of time and proceeded to hand me his phone when one of the ladies at the desk started verbally reprimanding us. I guess she thought we were exchanging funds for the weed, which we cleared up immediately. But what exacerbated the situation was the fact that as soon as he walked through the door into the shop, she commented, "I HATE when people get mad at me for doing my job." To which I made the comment that I don't think he was upset, just surprised since we come here all the time and do the same thing (hand phone to order lyft) and there's never an issue. She OBVIOUSLY had to have the last word. What I hate? When employees complain about their job in front of customers and feel like they are RIGHT. Ummm, no you're not. To effectively communicate and lead a scenario like this, it is up to YOU, the employee, to carry the blame for any misunderstanding and then seek first to understand before making assumptions. But in our brief exchange, she made it clear that she was placing the blame on him and not her when she was the one to jump to conclusions from the start. This is not okay. When you go inside, the people are super nice. But for some reason, the people at the front desk tend to be more blatant about their issues with the job. I sat there waiting and heard her complain more about people getting stuff wrong in customer details when making a delivery or something of the sorts. What makes you forget that you are representing an entire organization? What makes you think that in customer service, YOU are right? Why talk shit behind a customer's back? That is soooo passive aggressive and unprofessional. As someone who works in customer service, this situation was not okay and is a reflection of the employee feeling entitled to their opinion.

Let's start with the old "Octopus's Garden" mural on the outside. I know they didn't do it, but it makes me happy to see it there!The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. They are also efficient so that even when there's line it goes by very quickly. I haven't been to tons of clubs, but they seem to have anything I could ever think of needing. Great place!

Came in for the first time in a long time to check out what was on the menu. Was looking for something that would help me keep my anxiety to a minimum while still being able to operate at work. The bud tender Kristina assisted me and suggested a few nice $6 hybrid pre rolls and a pack of the kiva brand CBD mints. Super friendly and kind individual. Definierly my favorite dispensary still.

My husband & I went for the first time to CBCB a couple weeks ago and the customer service was excellent. Jim, the budtender, is the best!! He is very warm, friendly and gave us great information on different strands we inquired about, and was extremely patient with us, even though the lines were a bit long. His customer service was impeccable. Yesterday, I came in and he remembered me which was extremely impressive. He was very patient and again, gave me the info I inquired about without rushing, which was greatly appreciated. They had some tables with samples that were great and the vibe there overall is great. I will definitely continue to go back!! I recommend to anyone who doesn't mind the lines.

This is a great dispensary with a great staff who really know their products and are very helpful in recommending options for your medical needs.  Very high quality products and a great selection.  Parking can be tight sometimes, and please be respectful of the neighbors.

I went in there last week and usually have an amazing experience , the people behind the counter are usually super friendly, but that day I was having a hard week and the girl was rude I forgot my debit card in the car and she seemed annoyed and instead of placing a hold on what I was buying she put it back ok? Maybe protocol . But her entire attitude was not friendly. Well I locked my keys in the car in the mix of it all... Panic came across me. Well SPENCER the SECURITY GUARD came through and completely helped me out by using his triple a to get them out. He did  not need to but out of the kindness of his heart he called and waited. I can't thank him enough !

True Veterans of the trade. Very knowledgeable staff and always looking out for their patients. Have a long wait? Feel free to partake in their fresh fruit and otter pops aplenty.

I do not recommend this place of business. I went there, hopeful and excited with my newly obtained medical card, only to be denied entry and treated poorly. I was told by the two rude women staff members at the front that my card was "fraudulent" and "that doctor was not giving out recommendations" but offered no reason to this accusation. I obtained a medical recommendation from a reputable doctor for my pain management. I walked to my car, almost in tears and researched another medical center, thinking I could give it one more try. I drove to Berkeley Patients Group, and was warmly welcomed and served immediately. I will not be going to Cannabis Buyers Club of Berkeley ever again. Go to BPG, where customer service is great.

Been coming  every week for the past 3 months and if you're looking for that has good member care this place lacks it.  Needs a stricter staff. This place is business only, and lacks compassion. Maybe that's why they are now incorporating holiday festivities. Declining...

I've been coming here several times a month for the past two years. They have good product, and I have found the employees to be helpful and friendly.  Not any more. This week, a young woman budtender, S, gave me the worst service I have ever experienced at any dispensary. She was not very knowledgeable or helpful, and on top of it was downright rude and aggressive. I spent over $100 that visit, which I regret. I feel sad about this, because I used to love CBCB. But I will be checking out other dispensaries from now on.

This place sold me the most poisonous shatter I've ever smoked. The brand was "Terped Up" but it should have been called Taned Up because there was so much butane present that it made a loud sizzling noise every time it hit a nail.Cbcb poisons people and I don't recommend buying their subpar concentrates.

I love this store.  They have so many options in the CBD arena.  Plus, they have a dj playing music.  It's pretty dope!

This place is alright if you're not a connoisseur and super picky, and I've had a few good buys from it, and the staff is friendly. If you can catch their $55 half ounce deals on the right strain it's definitely worth it, and I highly recommend. But also.....it's no fun spending $16 on a gram and finding it to contain 9+ seeds in it, at least. Just seems a little hit or miss.

This is my go-to place I drive all the way from Walnut Creek to come here their staff is amazing they've got an excellent selection of concentrates and flowers and edibles they've got it all in a very relaxed and comfortable environment not too snotty not too hippie like just perfect

I've been coming here for years and everyone that's ever helped me has been awesome! Great attitude great atmosphere. Except for one of the newer lead managers. He was so rude. I purchased a cartridge that wasn't really working as well as it should be so I brought it back to replace it with another one but he told me that it seemed fine to him. So I was screwed, I wasted 30 bucks and about 2 hours driving there and back home. Ever since this incident happened I'd rather drive to US bloom in Vallejo than to give my business to cbcb.

1st visit yesterday.  Easy to find.  Right on a corner.  Very pleasant security and staff.  Great flower choices and a few levels to choose from.  Not too many gold label (top shelf) choices tho.  My only reason for giving 4 stars.  Candy Jack and Wood Kush did not disappoint. Quality flower was very photogenic!  many other products besides flower.  I think they had everything you would need, including clothing and a seating area with complimentary otter pops and a super cute weiner dog napping on the sofa that loves to be scratched behind the ear.  Oh and an A + for having a parking lot!  I will definitely be back.

Well they've once again changed their rewards points rules making them harder to use. Yet another local club. Letting us know that they no longer want our business. A real shame as this was once the absolute best club in town. I'll miss you cbcb

I've been going to CBCB for years because of the friendly staff and they have a great selection of different varieties and price points which are friendly for any budget. Today, I was blown away though! After I made my purchase and started to drive off, I noticed I popped my tire on the curb and had to pull over to put on the spare. My friend and I were  standing on the side of the road in our heels, trying to do this...Then, Spencer, one of CBCBs security guards came by on a bike to see if we needed help. He got my popped tire off for me and helped us put on the spare, then he even directed us to the near by gas station so I could put more air in it. What a godsend! He was soo helpful!I've loved CBCB for a long time but this was just outstanding! They really do help look out for the neighborhood while providing quality customer service! Thank you soo much Spencer for helping me on what would have otherwise been a really bad day. I'm just so impressed :))

I used to like this place but they no longer carry Marley products and be aware that if you do not use cash, they only take ATM cards and charge a $2.50 ATM fee.  I will find another place until they sort themselves out.

Probably won't be coming here again. I traveled a long way after calling them to make sure a product was in stock, only to show up and find they hadn't had that product in weeks. Same thing happened the other day. Called they said they had product in stock. Then I asked specifics to make sure and receptionist went to check. Surprise, out of stock. The worst part is that I'm a medical patient with a recommendation, and CBCB charges me full recreational tax of 25%. The last two times I was there I was charged that even after trying to explain I'm a medical patient and showing them documentation. I'll go to BPG or BPCC in Berkeley instead, where I'll pay medical patient tax and save a ton of money.

This is only my second time buying as a patient and I enjoyed my experience. The ONLY downsides: parking and the mean guy behind the front desk. He wasn't polite or friendly at all. He seemed annoyed that I was a new patient and had to give me the info. Parking lot is super small and the street parking is limited. Once I got into the room, the girl that helped me was awesome, knowledgeable and helpful. I got freebies for it being my birthday, my first time visiting their club, and a discount for being a student...No complaints there. The prices were not bad either. Definitely a good experience, aside from the grumpy guy at the front desk.

Used to come here for its location but I will not be returning. Went in today and just didn't like the experience/vibe. Recently went to a handful of dispensaries in Portland, OR--so much better come on East Bay!

I loved my first experience here at CBCB. I was lucky to find parking because the security guy was looking out for me...he was supper nice. I also didn't wait that long line outside except when I got in, but I was ok waiting because I knew everybody was asking lots of questions and all answers were answered. I loved the guy made from another world lol that helped me, handsome tall, knowledgeable, patient and funny..he made me feel comfortable to ask all newbie questions and he helped so much! Loved the place!

They had what I wanted and it was a pleasant experience. Bring your doctor's note or card to have more variety to choose from.

Good place prices are comparable to other clubs. Lines can get long. Go early in the day is the best. The workers are really knowledgeable. Place is clean and not shady looking.

I have been to many cannabis clubs, but this place by far was one of the worst. The receptionist was super nice, but that's as far as that went. Budtender called me up to his counter with a stone cold expression on his face. Was not friendly AT ALL. I asked to see selection of vape cartridges and he pretty much just pulled all the choices out and had me pick. I started asking questions about the different selections and he was not having it. At one point he even said "you just want to get high right?" Usually GOOD budtenders are happy to answer your questions to pick the best selection for your needs. I could tell he wanted me to be on my way so I ended up just picking a couple and also got some topical skin salve. As I got out to my car I checked my receipt to find I had been charged TWICE for the salve that I only got one container of. I honestly feel like he did this on purpose because I had to ask for a copy of my receipt. I go back inside and go to the same grumpy budtender and he had the nerve to say let me just give you another salve! Um NO I would like my money back that I was overcharged. I have never had an experience like this at any other club. Do your research you can find better places than this.

I really can't gush about this place enough. The prices are unbeatable, and they hook it up with free stuff every time. Spend $50, get a Rhino Pellet, more than $100 and you get a preroll, and over $200 gets you a free shirt (which wearing gets you 5% off). Also, whenever you spend $1000 total over time,  you get a FREE EIGHTH OF TOP SHELF. When have you ever even heard of such a generous dispensary? I drive a half hour each way because the deals are so good, and the people behind the counter make it a pleasant visit every time. Do yourself a favor and splurge on the Old Amsterdam if they have it. It should be called Old AmsterDAMN, because that shit's no joke. If you have your card and haven't made it to CBCB in Berkeley yet, you're doing it wrong.

LOTS of room for improvement at this place. One of the first cannabis clubs I visited back when I first got my medical card, and my first experience there was not unlike my most previous. In both instances, I was greeted by a welcoming staff that took very little time to process my paperwork and get me inside, but both times I was struck by how pricey the buds seemed in comparison to other clubs in the area. While their pricing ranges anywhere from $15-60 an eighth, their lower priced eighths look like straight Mexican brick schwag. Like, not even smokable looking at ALL - I had to spend $40 on a dry, stemmy eighth that looked just decent enough to smoke despite the budtender's insistence that it was some of their "best selling" product. Yeah, right. Additionally, I've been here a couple times before when they seriously had 5 strains available to choose from (note: this was before they began listing their menu on Weedmaps). I realize this has not been as much of an issue of late, but presenting yourself as a professionally run club and having that limited of a selection to patients who might need more variety to get what they're looking for is just not cool. Also was a bit annoyed that their budtenders were NOTICEABLY wayyyy too stoned to even hear what I was saying half the time... had to repeat my order last time at like 3 times and I'm not a quiet talker, believe me. Overall not bad, but in Berkeley/Oakland area you can do much, much better. I would recommend checking out Harborside near Jack London or BPG, both which have better selection and seem a bit more professionally run.

The staff here is extremely helpful. I have yet to have a tender that wasn't good at what they do. The feel of the establishment itself has a local business vibe which I like. It's not big, busy, and sterile. Another plus to the staff is that you tend to see the same people and I love a familiar face.

Quality product. Quality and solid employees (they check your medical card and are very on point!)  Quality medicine and Tree. I highly recommend it to anyone!

CBC is dishonest with their samples. The piece they showed had crystals on them but the ones they sold were washed (kief is ALL gone). Seems like they swap cheap products. Furthermore, CBCB's prices are relatively high - a quick online comparison can help save money; even delivery options are cheaper. Think about it, if they are not going to give you what they show you at the store, why pay extra and waste time finding parking, waiting in line, etc. etc.??

Okay I went in to get a few grams and I got five nugs with either mold or mildew . I can taste it and see it from the stem to the actual flower . Be aware from who you buy from .

First visit today, great experience! Easy check in, friendly and helpful staff, pleasant shopping area. Parking may be tricky certain times of the day but I found a spot within a block.

I really hate coming on yelp writing a negative review but I'm hoping this will help the employees step their game up .for starters it was my first time coming to a cannabis store . I wanted to grab a few things for my severe shoulder pain and something for my dad that has cancer . The lady that was helping that day was super rude not sure if she was super loaded or what but I asked her questions on certain medications and she would stare at me like I was super ignorant and I should know the answers to the my own questions. I wanted some more information from someone that's been around all the products to help make my decision easier , if I knew it was going to be disappointing I should of just ordered online. She looked she hated her job and kept bringing up stuff like is illegal in California so we don't make edibles larger then 100mg okay thank you but how am I suppose to know all of this?school me but In a nice manner .some of us actually need medicine not trying to get high like a teenager .hope someone gets ahold of this character and knock some sense into her brain .as far as the store loved the selection of products I could of easily bought more but with the horrible customer service bought one thing and peAce out mind you I drove 45 min for this .

I felt like a kid in a candy shop. Nice and spacious area and there's privacy too. Kind staff and patient with a first timer like me. They took their time to explain and educate, not just sell. Will go back again for sure . They also have a nice selection of product. Their prices range all of the place which I liked. Parking can be difficult as it is in a residential neighborhood and their parking lot is very small.. I like it that they are open until 9 PM even on weekends, which is a huge plus

I have been a customer at CBCB for close to 3 years. Recently I have noticed somewhat of a decline in their customer quality assurance services. I stopped in a few days ago with two friends (both of whom are recreational users and myself who is a medicinal user). My 'budtender' was very hyperactive, quick to respond before the end of our questions and very pushy as far as upselling. I wish this was the first time I have had this experience but it has been enough times that I finally broke down and wrote a review. I asked if I could have my own separate transaction from my two friends and they exclaimed that it would be cheaper to just complete the transaction as a whole. Then instead of letting us decide how we wanted to pay, they charged us without asking if I had my medical card with me so we were charged a high tax regardless. We were all very confused and ended up arguing over who's card to throw down to split the bill (which is something I have never done at a dispensary before). I know that one 'budtender' doesn't speak for all but I feel like there should be a few boundaries as to how they handle certain situations or at least have some knowledge of interacting with customers that need medical assistance and suggestions. I felt awkward and really anxious to leave. I won't be coming back anytime soon. I am going to stick with BLUM & Purple Star in Oakland. If anyone plans to go here: make sure you know what you want and preface the reason of your visit so they don't jump to the conclusion that you want to buy everything on the menu. SMH

This club is ridiculous.  I do not appreciate being lied to, as I've directly experienced with the management at CBCB.  This club has now given me a two-time, terribly handled interaction, resulting in the  poorest customer service I've experienced regarding dispensaries.  Over a year ago, I had a verbal argument with a customer outside on the street, as the customer had hit my car, and walked off.  CBCB security reported that I was harassing him, resulting in me explaining the situation to the manager, after which I was assured that I would be able to return to CBCB as a patient.   I've been a customer there for years, and had never a problem up until that point.  Fast forward to today, and lo and behold, I am officially banned from the club for life, and this is after I explained to another manager that I had spoken to their manager last year, who had assured me that everything would be fine regarding my membership there.  I find this extremely disappointing, very unprofessional, and a complete waste of my time and energy.  This dispensary does not have the needs of the community in mind.  I'll be cautioning my friends to not support this business.  Just awful.

Love this place! They really care about their patients! I will drive an hour just to use this club. I get tired of spending my money with ppl who don't know how to treat u and don't appreciate ur business. I like the variety they have and the workers are always friendly. A lot of these clubs hire ppl who really don't care or have any knowledge. That makes a huge difference!

Everyone here is SUPER nice! The security guard had a smile, the lady at the desk was very polite. She seemed absolutely happy with assisting me. Once I got inside, the good vibes continued. The lady that helped me was sweet enough to explain the menu and let me see/sniff samples. She answered all my tedious questions and really knew what to suggest for my medical needs. She gave me 10% off for being a first-time customer and even threw in a free goodie (it was a cookie, YUM!!!) and a free cone! It was perfectly rolled too! Whoever does this part of the job really pays attention to detail. This was better than christmas :D Okay enough about the staff--seriously, they were all superb. On to the product. This stuff looked AMAZING when I bought it. Fluffy, fresh. It was even better once I got to try it. So smooooth. No harsh yucky-cough, even when I tried. Excellent quality!!I also got a lollipop and the chocolate chip cookies. Five stars on the edibles too!It's hard to believe there are any negative reviews about this place! So I did some light sleuthing and found that things have been different since the new owners/management took over. Keep doing what you're doing guys!! Love it!

Only my second time here and I love this place. Both of the ladies that helped me had good advice and product knowledge. They didn't make me feel rushed and asked me 2 times during checkout if I had any other questions. When I went today, I mentioned that my birthday had just passed and I was wondering if they had any bulk deals on baked goods. While they didn't have any deals on bulk, they did have a Happy Birthday gift! I thought it was very sweet of her to include that for me and will definitely be coming back. The prices are fair and the staff is friendly!

I first started coming here about 2 years ago, and from the very first moment that I set foot through the doors I was hooked. First off, I love that this place has private parking (I hate when I have to pay to park.). The staff here is excellent, every time I come I am greeted by the receptionist and budtenders with a hello and welcoming smile. The staff is very knowledgeable about the meds as well as the edibles, they always help me find what will work best for me. This place has an apparel rack as well as a glass piece display , and if you happen to buy and wear their gear, they give you 5% off each time you visit. Also, they have a lounge area where you can chill and roll up(No On Site Medicating) while you listen to music. Be sure to stop by sometime, you won't be disappointed.

CBCB is a Rockstar dispensary!  Mngr. Debra is phenomenal ...I consider her to be a Spiritual Philanropist along side Raven, proactive and wise  Upon arrival, you are greeted by security, friendly and yet, conscientiously aware of their surroundings and the job that they take very seriously especially Kya!! . Once inside you are greeted to numerous experienced individuals who know the needs of each patient ...by just listening which they do so well. Eva, is my " personal shopper " she always gives me her complete and Undivided attention every time I visit . Her knowledge of products is superior and knows exactly what my needs are that fit my budget!!  Eva your a platinum 5 stars !!! Even though there is a dispensary around the corner I shall still continue to drive the extra 15 minutes to visit CBCB for all obvious reasons as mentioned above!! Kudos for a job well done!!

It was my first time in a dispensary and was nervous, but everyone there was amazing! The customer service is absolutely outstanding. I met 4 of their staff and every single one of them was very friendly and knowledgeable. Very appealing look, inside and outside the building. Great selection of edibles. Definitely DEFINITELY going back!

I wish their staff wouldn't lie to my face about the quality of the pre-rolls. Some skinny black dude w/dreds & glasses told me the pre-roll was good quality, but I get home to find out there was two seeds in this terrible quality pre-roll. There prices suuuuck big time & the flowers are mediocre. Definitely not going back anytime soon. Purple Heart patient center in downtown Oakland off Broadway is an extremely better dispensary.S/O To Purple Heart!CBCB step your game up.

I haven't had to clean seeds since I left MO 8 years ago. I guess CBCB thought I missed this experience. Top shelf with seeds? CBCB has gone strictly commercial. There are too many choices in the Bay Area for this bullshit. You just lost a customer.

I live in Benicia and will only buy from CBCB because I have tried many different dispensaries but CBCB has the best product and out of this world pre-rolls/cones...  The people who work there are always kind to me and I love the bowl of apples, reminds of the Fillmore West back in the day!!!  Always had a bowl of apples as you entered the venue.So yes I have been smoking week over fifty years on and off and I can say honestly that CBCB  knows what they doing when it comes to herbal relief.Great place and open till 9pm (Woo-Hoo!!!)

Come here all the time and I love this place. Great vibe and pretty knowledgeable staff for the most part. They have a wide range of products and a great location. Haven't bee in for a while to do yoga with Shiv but she's the best and I highly recommend going for a visit if she's still there. They actually have some pipes and other products on site, as well as dabbing tools and other things. The Marley Naturals line is there, all flowers and accessories they sell. Always enjoy coming here.

At 9 I walked in the door as s patient walked out . I walked to go look at the menu. The security asked me to leave . I asked for an exception and they refused they were rude. THE CLUB IS RIP OFF THEY RIP OFF PATIENTS.

Nice place. but I find and I've been doing a lot of research on different dispensaries around the Bay Area especially in Oakland area. So far I have visited 4. And I'm from out of town. If I'm back in that area again I will come back to visit cbcb.

They've got a wide selection of good bud and a nice staff but DO NOT order a pre-rolled house joint. It comes in a teeny tiny tube and wouldn't come out. I had to reach in with a pair of scissors and pull it out like I was doing surgery. Even with the crutch it is considerably smaller than most pre-rolls, but much like a bag of potato chips, the crutch is actually half the joint. Not only that, but the crutch was on the fat side of the cone and the end was the skinny side, or in other words: backwards. So I light my half-a-small-joint and it immediately canoes to the middle after just 2 puffs. I took the aforementioned scissors and cut off the ruined half, then re-lit what was now just a roach. Again, the top half catches like wild fire and the bottom went untouched. So here I am after smoking my half-a-half-a-small joint and let's just say that I an NOT FEELING THE VIBES! In fact, I feel like a total sucker.

I've been searching for this place. It took me a year to find this dispensary (way too long). People here were super nice, lady named Amanda was super helpful. Awesome selection. Most importantly the prices!!! WHOA!! Two grams awesome crumble/wax under 50? What...I would kiss the owner on the mouth! Thank you sir!

This isn't normally my first choice in clubs to go to but today their 9am opening time was exactly what I needed so I went in. I'm glad I did. I got some quality product but even better Sterling who helped me was absolutely amazing. I'll be back because of his customer service.

One of the security guards, Spencer, helped 2 ladies with a tire change. They are soooo lucky to have this true gentleman on their team.

I come here once in awhile to get some good quality cheap bud to mix with my top shelf. I really love the environment. They always have free otter pops lol. Well my favorite budtender is Kody, he's always super cool (even when I'm being cheap)! Checking in can be crazy sometimes but other then that my experiences have been great.

First time at a dispensary, nice selection of wax. Only smelled the $50 half ounce and agent orange, of course I went with quality. I plan on going back, plus the budtender was pretty helpful.Negatives: Clones didn't look taken care of, %50 percent off though. So basically you get what you pay for.

CBCB is my favorite club in the East Bay! Their prices are great and they have an amazing selection. The staff is always friendly and cool, and the space itself is welcoming. I really appreciate that they always have $15-$25 eighths that are still good quality, for when you aren't looking to spend a ton of money. It seems a lot of other clubs I've gone to aren't as interested in keeping a selection of affordable meds. The budtenders always seem happy to answer my questions and let me look at a bunch of different things without getting impatient. I've liked just about everything I've gotten here, be it flowers, edibles, or concentrates! Another plus is free gifts with most purchases! I've gotten a little edible cookie or a prerolled depending on what I've spent. Parking is usually not too bad, whether in the lot or on the street. Sometimes it's packed inside and sometimes there's no one at all. I never know which it's going to be so I generally allow myself a little extra time when stopping by. The bottom line is, if you are looking for a great selection of quality meds at good prices with nice budtenders, CBCB is the place to go!

I visit CBCB regularly and this is one of the best clubs i have been to. Super mellow vibe, the staff is always very friendly and helpful, and the prices are some of the best around. They have a great selection and much of their selection is lab tested so you know exactly what you are getting (20%+ THC anyone?).If you are tired of the shady clubs on san pablo where they mad dog you as they let you in the door and then charge top shelf prices on mid grade buds, then CBCB is your place.

My husband and I went to CBCB last night and had the pleasure of meeting Ali.  She patiently listened to everything my husband had to say and adeptly supplied the answers to all of our questions.  She was efficient, friendly, and down to earth and was able to direct us to the correct medicine we needed without all of the guess work.  She made this visit easy and very enjoyable and I will be asking for her the next time we visit.  I give this experience a 5 star and Ali shined the brightest.

It was my first time in and they were all so incredibly friendly! The staff was welcoming and informational while helping me get exactly what I wanted. Will hopefully return in just a few days!

Parking attendants are really friendly and helpful. Front desk greeters are very nice and friendly.  The guy behind the counter obviously had better things to do besides answer my newbie questions about efficacy of different topical applications, shelf life, etc.  And it wasn't very busy so he wasn't trying to help lots of people at once.

Best club in the Oakland/Berkeley area for their knowledge about any questions I have and the great deals and specials that they offer. They have my loyalty!

An old aquarium store upgraded to a cozy cannabis club. They register you professionally and up to medical standards. The decorating, music, and kind people create a great ambience within. Coffee, tea, and fruit available for free. They have free workshops and other services (like chair massage) as well. Jaime in particular was very attentive, helpful, had a great attitude. They sell Cbcb tee-shirts, hats, glass pieces, juices and other swag aside from the medicine. The parking situation is a bit difficult, but the club isn't necessarily to blame. The city of Berkeley tends to be difficult with zoning laws. My home club, and overall I'm quite happy with it.

Someone needs to fire the security guard harassing motorists on the public street. I don't know if he's an employee of the business or if he's from a private security company, but apparently no one has informed him of the limits of his jurisdiction.

This dispensary used to be mediocre, but now it amped up it's prices, intensified it's lack of customer service, and once again amped up it's prices. The 51/50 used to be 20$ - now you're lucky to see something for that price with 250 mil. Just think 1000 mil for 20$! You went wrong CBCB and while you are still getting business, you don't deserve it, because just like every other business, you sold your soul for profit. Goodbye. See you at Blum.

Eva G was the most amazing person when i was going through a horrible anxiety attack! Not only did she go above and beyond to help and talk me out of my stress but, she also smiled and was incredibly humble.... something very hard to find in the service world of the bay area. Being from the bay area i love CBCB with all my heart..they treat my mother with love,respect and attention everytime she comes through and that warms my heart. Security are also hella dope! They go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable. In addition..all of the staff is amazing 1 of a kind .. This place is 1 of a kind they deserve 7 stars!!! I love CBCB u folks make me smile everytime.1 more thing....i grew up in Berkeley..CBCB is what the love and respect of the bay area is about! I am immensely humbled to be able to come thru everytime and have nothing but love and admiration for all the staff and the culture they provide! Thank u CBCB !!!

I use the delivery service regularly. Top product, great range of prices, prompt delivery and always a friendly face to make the drop. I wholeheartedly recommend BPG to everyone.

Supercool folks working here from the security staff to the receptionist to budtenders.  Maya took the time to go over multiple products with me in helping to manage migraines, anxiety and insomnia.  High CBD tinctures and spray and edibles work great for all three and Maya was able to suggest and compare products.  She even helped me choose a salve for knee pain (comparing quantity to price) and it works great.  Thanks CBCB!

So glad to have found this little piece of nirvana just a couple minutes away from my apartment!A lot of the clubs in the East Bay (and in the Bay Area in general) tend to price their cannabis much higher than the average patient would be comfortable spending. CBCB however hasn't forgotten about the casual everyday smoker, who sometimes might prefer quantity over quality, whilst not sacrificing too much quality.This is where CBCB comes in - while their higher priced bud is on par price and quality-wise with many of the other dispensaries in the area, its lower tier goods are where it shines. Never before have I seen such a consistent rotation of quality (for the price) 20-25 dollar 8ths. Not to mention their concentrates too - 10 dollar grams of hash on the regular. Their frequent buyer/smoker program is pretty cool too, and gives you an added incentive for returning (as if you'd really need one though.)The atmosphere is something worth talking about too - they really nailed the 'coffeeshop' feel with this one. The hash bar, the DJ, the chillout area and the weekly activities this dispensaries holds does bring an interesting and eclectic crowd, I've meet some interesting characters here, but not to worry, as most of the riff-raff is kept out by security guards.This place is pretty much perfect, only thing I dont like being their closing time (8PM every day). The club that used to be my regular (40 Acres) has now been delegated to the backup slot (post-8PM: they close 10pm weekdays/12mn weekends). Longer opening hours would be nice!So, CBCB, you guys are awesome. I don't know what I'd do without you and your cute budtenders! Just keep on tokin'.

3.5 stars.. but they get bonus points for allowing patients to medicate on the premises. What a treat to a girl on the go like myself!This club has a good selection of meds and they make it easy to distinct the indicas vs. the sativas. They pre-weigh, and all bud is packaged in cute little glass jars [big plus there]. For some reason, I wasn't put off by the pre-weigh, because each jar was jammed packed with tasty, fluffy green flowers.Budtender wasn't very friendly. I had to ask a lot of questions to get any information out of her. I prefer budtenders that present as much info about the meds as possible to 1st time patients. Prices are average.. $50 for eights and grams of concentrates. The club is festively decorated, but it was kinda dusty..just surface clean. But, the color and decor are nice and way more pleasant than most clubs. Lots of local art on the wall to trip on.. it was very 'Berkeleyesque', but not in the hippie way..yet, sorta. They are located in the cute lil building on Shattuck that used to be a fish store.The guy at the door seemed nice, but him and his girlfriend playing all cutesy up there was a little less than professional. Get a room!Guy at the front desk was hella old-school and I just imagined he had a wonderland of paraphernalia at his home..he was pretty cool. As mentioned before, they allow you to medicate on the premises and I thoroughly enjoyed partaking with their volcano. When I left, I was so baked I could barely function..I probably drove like a gramma up Shattuck, going 15 miles an hour. Oh well, still safer than drinking and driving. ;)

In the part year this collective has gone downhill. The security guards have much to be learned on customer service issues. Also, the parking spots are not to code and will be notifying the city of Berkeley. Save your money.

I am not a vendor, I am just a patient, and can not speak to others complaints.  I tend to bring medicine in with me when I go to CBCB, because the atmosphere is great, but the hash selection is limited. The spot is very low key, with some tunes playing, and never a huge crowd. The staff is very candid, which I appreciate, because they wont hesitate to put down their own product. (it just seems so much more honest than bud-tenders who tell you everything is great). You know if they were in my shoes they would have a preference, so why not be real?BEST PART:  There is always a hot coal burning on the hash bar. If you have never experienced a hash bar, its a pretty incredible and necessary smoke sesh, if only once. The hashbar tenders will help you figure things out, or leave you mostly alone depending on your experience and your vibe. Every time I leave CBCB, I say to myself, "I love California"

Positives :Has assortment of meds, both sativa and indica as well as hybrids.  I typically am looking for sativa strains which are in less abundance here than their indicas.  The meds offered here come in a variety of price ranges which makes it convenient if you're on a budget.  The only problem is often the cheaper varieties aren't even worth taking home.  Every so often there are decent options for 40 or less / 8th though.  Place is chill and laid back, although they have recently banned on-site medicating which leaves the place lacking a sense of community and atmosphere.Negatives :They do not label THC content, nor is there any certification regarding organics and mold.  This to me is the major downside of this club.  I do not consider medical grade marijuana to be suitable for patients if none of the above is taken into consideration and boldly labeled on the product.  This leaves me wondering what is behind / in the herb that I am smoking which is not a good feeling.  I once asked about their pre-rolled cones and was told that they are produced in and shipped from Thailand, which seemed really obscure and a bit unsettling.  Staff are not the compassionate / knowledgeable crew that you would expect, but rather seem half attached to the product and your experience as a member.Overall :Decent place with a decent vibe, but nothing special.  The herb is nothing too special either.  Although I have seen legitimate patients at CBCB, the way they deal with herb and the majority of clientele feels like they are catering to stoners that will put whatever into their lungs... not patients looking to truly medicate with high quality grades.  The fact that they do not test / label products with THC content, mold and organic info will lead me else where.  Not to say that I will never go back, but it will not be my first pick.

If you want a club that does NOT have an intimidating atmosphere with shady characters in and out all day, this is the one! Their lounge has DJs pretty much always..spinning dub and downtempo stuff keeping the mood pleasant, the staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable, and they have a nice assortment of meds. The hashbar is also amazing! This was my first, and has become my only place to get meds.

First place I seen take credit cards.  That alone gives them 5 stars.  As with all dispensaries, the process is simple.  Go in, show them your script and you're in.  My only gripe is that I wish they had a hard menu instead of on the Tv screens.

They're always friendly to me & helpful with my questions. Great deals of the day every time I go. Plus, they pretty much always throw in a free gift. I like it! They're friendly & dog friendly!

This is the best dispensary I've been to.  They have stellar hash, good herb, and they have all different price ranges.  Also the best pre-rolls I've seen.  Usually they're loose shaky messes other places.  The staff is friendly.  I got into it a lil bit with a security guard there once and we ended up smoothing it over and shaking hands a moment later.  They have cuttings for sale and a lounge to puff in as well.

This is not a great club. It is not a bad one, either. It is just okay. I have had a medical MJ card for 7 years. I have been to dozens of clubs in LA/So Cal, Sacramento, and the Bay Area.  I admit a bias that I have generally found the quality of Bay Area clubs in terms of product and price to be sub par with the options elsewhere. So my standards may be a bit higher than people who are only used to Bay Area clubs. Based on my experiences this club does not distinguish itself. I will go there if it is convenient. But, it is not even close to being my favorite club. Here's why.VIBE AND LACKING CUSTOMER SERVICEThe club has a nice enough vibe. But, it feels very corporate and that is reflected in the customer service. I am used to a more friendly "Mom and Pop" or  "wine shop" type vibe where the counter people are a bit more friendly and low key and the pace is a little more relaxed. This has even been true at the high volume clubs I have frequented in LA and Sac that are much bigger than this club. At this place I feel like I am at the local Starbucks ordering a latte. The staff is not particularly rude. But, there is an overabundance of slightly obnoxious hipster dudes at the counter. The advice is lacking. Overall, the staff are not particularly friendly and personable, at least not to me. In most shops if you come in regularly they start to recognize you over time and get to know you a little. Here, I was in once a week for several months and always felt like I was buying a pack of gum at CVS.  That is not saying much if you are regularly patronizing an MJ Club.MEDIOCRE PRODUCT AT HIGH PRICESThe selection of bud is decent. They have a nice variety. But, at the low end (under $40 1/8) the selections are generally very disappointing. You have to pay at least $45 an 1/8 to get anything good rather than decent. Some of the stuff on the lower end of the scale is actually not very good- like not quite medicinal quality. This is not common these days. Most shops have at least one or two affordable selections in the $20-30 1/8 range that are "chronic" in addition to mind blowing high end stuff. Here, the high end is just what you expect, good to great. But, it is expensive. This is a complaint because quality is almost universally high everywhere these days. They should make much more of an effort to provide some affordable high quality selections. To be fair they have some decent deals on hash and edibles.

The prices you see aren't the prices you pay. The city of Berkeley has a tax where they tax bud like eight percent on each purchase. So if you think you're spending 35 for an eighth in reality you're spending 38 or 39. I recommend going to Purple Heart or Blum in Oakland which is only about a ten minute drive away. In Purple Heart A. The budtenders are friendly B. The price you see is the price you pay. No extra city tax garbage, and C. If you spend $50 or more there they give you a stamp card and if you fill up the entire card it counts for $25 on your next purchase. Remember to go on Tuesdays though that's when they stamp your card twice. If you are a person who doesn't like paying extra and doesn't like a non-friendly environment then I strongly recommend staying away from CBCB. It's a bad dispensary.

One of my favorite Medicinal shops in East Bay! Great quality on thier products. There is a nice sliding scale for every budget. I mos def love the Korove Cookie Edibles. My favorite flower that I have purchased was karma Wreck (hybrid). Clean shop with awesome art ( it feels more relaxing and inviting then a regular clinic). The staff is always super nice and helpful!

Cbcb has some seriously on point customer service. Everyone on their sales staff makes a friend out of the patient they work with. I forgot the girl with the colored hair, but she is my favorite bud tender, she's sweet with good vibes. Positivity flowing through the building. It would be nice if they expanded the selection a little more. Nice guards and the man at the front desk is the cherry on top. Cbcb is a 5 star, proud patient.

I went there yesterday and the lady who was helping me was new and she was not very nice or a very good person to talk to about medicine. Every other time I have been to a club they ask if you want to smell the meds and which she did not and then once you make a selection they bring you a few and let you pick. She didn't do any of that, she just got the stuff and rang it up and I had to ask to see it. I didn't like her vibe at allllll and the board of edibles was very confusing. I really just did not like how that sales woman did her job and will not be going back

I'm not a member but wanted to comment on a very sweet gesture I witnessed yesterday, when a security guard named Rashad skillfully calmed a potentially hairy situation with an angry person. Instead of putting on the typical stoic face and harsh attitude you'd expect from a guard, I heard him say, "let me buy you a cup of coffee," and walked him over to the cafe across the street. That's all it took! He effectively diffused a situation that could have been ugly through a loving gesture. Bravo to CBCB for employing such awesome people.

this place is so legit, fwyh. the staff are cool. I give them the five stars because one they have bongs/pipes/vapors/papers whatever you need for your time in the sky. It also the top spot to hit up for some great hash. The other patients are chill. Oh yea, 11am until 11:59am early bird special on everything, I think it's 5% off.

Idiot security guard and no online menus. You simply walk in and hope that the strain that works for you is there, no menus whatsoever.Called and the guy who picked up was extremely rude, all I friggin asked was what time they closed in a nice manner and he scolded at me. Calm down brotha.Idiot security guard who scans your paper and ID like your walking into the god damn white house, jesus, for new patients you don't recognize, you should greet them with warmth and welcome. So many better places elsewhere, my first experience here really pissed me off from the initial phone call and the front security guard dude....

I have gone here several times and, while some of the staff is professional, others are mediocre.  They do not display the test values of their product (e.g., THC levels), leading one to speculate whether or not they test the quality (e.g., for mold).  The first time I visited, a patient was passed-out, face-down on a table.

On the 4th of July I called cbcb to ask what time they closed. A man answered ( I assume it was the big bald guy because he seemed so miserable. I have never seen an employee seem so bothered, tortured and just so unhappy with his job and life existence!) before I can ask any question the man tells me " cbcb we're open till 9:00, fireworks, boom!" I thanked him and said that's all I needed to know. When my boyfriend and I arrive at 8:03 their is no one at the door. Customers are walking out and no employee to be found. When an employee is found. He says we close at 8:00. We told him we had called and were told they close at 9:00. He said his manager told him to close at 8:00 and he laughed at us then closed the door. Most people that work here feel as if they are doing you a favor by being here. If you want actually top quality product. Go to Blum Oakland or Harborside health center. These places will take care of you and at a reasonable price that's well worth your time. Cbcb should just shut down. We can always use more parking spaces in berkeley.

I think this club is rad. First one I choose for medicine after receiving my card, and I don't really have any complaints. Most people like to walk through the steps, so that's what I'll do. Right off the bat the door guy was super cool to me. I had a multitude a questions which he was able to answer, and he didn't seem like a jerk at all. (Just because someone is intimidating, doesn't make them an asshole. That's the way you perceive them.) he was actually quite helpful. Then I go to front desk. It's the end of the night, they all want to go home, but the girl still hands me my paperwork. That to me is cool right off the bat. I think a lot of reviewers and Yelpers are too critical of a lot of people. These folks are there to do a job, and if they do it promptly and well without issue, there really should be none. They aren't there to be your best friend, which I think a lot of people expect. They are there to do a job. (I've read through most reviews for all clubs in the Bay Area, on multiple sights.) People are brutal critics, let's face it. That aside, I was granted access no issue. I walked in to a nice, open atmosphere that felt more like a ritzy cafe, than a pharmacy. Which I actually enjoyed. Let's face the facts: there are some shady clubs out there, and this is one of the ones run properly. They were so close to closing, and this was my first time, and boy do they have options. I went with the Infinite Euphoria, which was awesome. Grabbed a few other awesome goodies too. The girl was helpful, but everyone wanted to go home, I understand that completely. They were chill enough to even let me come in and start paperwork on the first place. Everyone was chill, everyone did their job. No one was rude. It was a clean cut, good first experience. Don't be so hard on each other folks! Obey the rules, be courteous, be a human. That's all it takes to have a great experience.

Yes that is 5 STARS. From top to bottom, Hands down this is a great place to shop and medicate. I am hooked like a large mouth bass.

Really great place. Very nice employees. Great deals, and a chill environment. I really look forward to going here, especially because they have such a wide selection. You get a free doob with every purchase. ( I think its after you spend 60). I love it

Great selection, great staff who make you feel appreciated as a customer and can always explain and recommend certain strains according to your needs (i.e. body pain as opposed to anxiety/depression, etc.), and a nice variety of strains and prices to suit every need and price range. A mellow environment with a nice lounge area and DJ. They always give you freebies, too, and have a great points program. I went by this evening and they gave me a free pre-rolled. I asked if there was a special or deal and she said, "No, just because you're awesome". I wasn't feeling so awesome so it cheered me up and made me appreciate my little club all the more.

Had a bad first experience, but they really cleaned the place up. Excellent customer service. Bud price is hit or miss but quality is very consistent. The house organic sour diesel is a good choice.

Really nice staff. Well kept location. Small selection of Bud (only 3 strains) but GREAT PRICES! (Quarter of Afgani 88 for 65!). Awesome selection of edibles and hash. + Nice chill lounge area to chill, eat and medicate.

This place is awesome.  They have a hash bar unlike any I have ever seen stateside; it is truly a la Amsterdam!  The product is great, I would consider it competitive in the marketplace.  Everyone should go just to see the hash bar and try out the medicine.  I have had some spiritual experiences in this place doing just that.... ;-)

I will admit not my favorite dispensary, something does not feel as warm as the others, however they do have great prices. I recently went in looking for UK Cheese and while they did not have it, the staff pointed me towards some NorCal Cheese (very different but I like it too). The price on an 8th was like a steal so I figured it would not be that great but I thoughy for 20 bucks it was worth a try. Yes, a little dry but I fixed that at home giving the buds a chance to collect some moisture from the air, and now I have some really nice sticky bud that is totally strong and great. I feel like I got a great deal and am happy I went in.

I haven't been to alot of Cannibus clubs but I love CBCB..the budtenders are very informed, they can tell you which medication is the best for  your ailment they're also very nice and friendly. I also like that you can buy cones. I like how their product is packaged in the nice plastic containers, that you can buy grams and half 1/8s, they have a very good selection of medications and edibles  CBCB is a nice comfortable place to go. They have  nice couches, tables with chairs,  music, and I like how the lighting is covered up with pretty flowy material, makes the lighting mellow. You can enjoy looking outside on a beautiful day and no one can c you behind the mirrored windows. They also have a no phone policy and it closes a bit early for me..lol..

I just wanted to also note that it is walking distance from Ashby Bart. A huge plus for those who use Bart.

This is a really nice spot, great medicine and friendly staff. The space is pleasant and they have a lot of fun additional merchandise, as well.

This place is great! No matter what I spend,  they have a free gift for me! I love that! The staff is real nice. There is only one guy who seems to turn his nose up at me when I ask about the lower price product with " I don't mess with low end stuff" Other than that, I am very happy with this place, and will keep coming back!

So me and girl go in there and we drive all the way from san leandro just to go there, we love the customer service they are great, and you go in there to chill, relax, and medicate, the dj music is awesome. I just love that everybody there is so welcoming. It's perfect, i honestly will never stop going there so relaxing, the decoratiion is awesome their just the best. Keep the good work up ya'll. I was at the CBCB last week and I just have to share my visit.  I truly like this place already because of its location.  What makes it eventful, is the Budtender.  I had the most informative Tender help me with my special needs.  I live with much pain and no longer take "Man Made Pills".  They almost killed me by the doctor's abuse of the medication given me.  I asked my doctor to remove all MMP's from my prescription, did not take any kind of medication for a year and cleaned out my body.  I then requested a Medicinal Card with much effort and finally, my doctor approved.  I finally, finally have relief of pain.  FINALLY!!!  No MMP, ever rid my pain (still have a brain and function) like the medicinal prescription suggested for me.  It eases my body of severe pain for up 6 hours.  RELIEF, FINALLY!!!!  I thank my Budtender for the conscious, extremely helpful advice given me.  I am happy to feel no pain, FINALLY!!!!  Thank you, CBCB and Jen.

This place is always super on point. Great selection of flowers. Prices are usually pretty reasonable. The majority of the staff is super friendly and they hook me up with joints or cookies from time to time. I love that they give discounts to those educated stoners, Student discounts!!! Hell Yeah! Im definitely a fan. Support CBCB.

Ten months still waiting to get paid.  Someone wrote earlier they have great prices...of course they do, they aren't paying their vendors.  They are more than willing to take your product and sell it for 2x the amount they are getting it for, then when time comes for them to pay the people that supply them, they don't.  So of course they have great prices because they are not paying the people they get there product from .  Its B.S.  TEN MONTHS and counting...  How long will it take???

I been going hear for the past 4 mouths . It has great prices but you don't get to pick your 8ths unless you ask. Upon asking some of the people who help you get angers and don't want to get another 8th for me to see ( happen more then onces) . Today I went in and got a 8th great price but when I went home it was all steams and Lil nugs.  When I weight it out with all the steams cut down it didn't even make 3.5 it was just 2.0 games . Then it's not worth getting grams hear . If I could take pic I would to express my disappointment . I only go to this club now if I'm low on money . 35$ at another club would be well worth it .  I also agree with some of the other people who are writing reviews ,that the employes are writing reviews

This place is really chill. Just what a Berkeley dispensary should be. It's where I go when I'm in the east bay. The parking lot looks shady, but inside it's surprisingly clean and upbeat. Great prices on strong edibles!

Great lounge, great atmosphere, and great selection of quality meds.  The staff seemed really helpful and made some good suggestions.  I really liked their super lemon haze and they had some great concentrate options as well.  More than anything else I think their lounge offers a really great dynamic, thanks CBCB!

Not only is the atmosphere really chill but the people who work here are genuinely knowledgeable and super friendly.  Ive been to a few other clubs in the bay area and most of them have a weird vibe, but not this one. I usually have lots of questions and both times I have been here the staff has been patient, kind, and willing to answer any and all questions I have. I never feel rushed and when I leave I know I have received a great service.They also offer massages and Reiki and last time I was there saw they even had an open mic night.Overall, its a great experience and I plan to be a customer for many years to come.

I suspect that the owner of CBCB and his employees are posting positive reviews of their own club on Yelp. I think Yelp should look into this and see where the five star ratings come from. This is at best a two-star establishment, and one star if their security guards threatened you.

Excellent facility. You're greeted by a professional, sweet receptionist & security guard, who help you through the registration process if you're a first timer. There's a parking lot & security gate to pass through, so safety is definitely a priority here, and I appreciate that. Inside, they have a TON of options, from affordable to luxury. Their main room is huge with couches, awesome decor, and a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Sometimes I just want to leave clubs if their atmosphere is uncomfortable, but this place didn't give me those vibes AT ALL. The lower-end cannabis I purchased was quite good for the price, I didn't feel shorted or cheated. The edible I bought was the Korova 51/50 (had never heard of it before). The kind woman at the checkout counter explained to me its' potency with clear direction, making sure I knew what the appropriate dose was. She was knowledgeable & friendly.I'm definitely coming back here and I recommend this to any medicinal cannabis user of any age or personality!

Just stopped in and picked up a Sour Purp Cone. 3 hits and I am medicated. I love this place. Great price range and selection of meds. I prefer this place to BPG, because the staff really embodies CBCB's motto. Be Fearless, Choose Love

We received a warm welcome with an easy registration/verification process. Product selection is comprehensive and high quality.  Knowledgable staff.  Great prices.  They accept CCs which is convenient.  Most importantly, this place has a vibe unlike many other spots I've visited, including a few in the 'Dam. Forget the thuggy spots in Oakland.  Triple A++++ Gold Stars for CBCB.

The Cannabis Buyers Club of Berkeley or the CBCB is a new club in Berkeley on the corner of Essex and Shattuck a block away from the Starry Plough. The outside is covered in a pretty underwater themed mural and there is usually plenty of street parking. They check your ID at the front door and the person behind the desk inside is always super nice and helpful. If it's your first visit they will give you a tour once they verify you as a patient which I think is nice. The inside is all newly remodeled and very bright, clean and welcoming.  You can medicate on site with a variety of methods including vaporizers. They have a good selection of product and there are knowledgeable people to help you select which one would most benefit you personally. They also have mini events and services available like live music, trivia nights, and massage therapy. I see the massage therapist on Thursdays, Turtle, and he has helped immensely with my lower back pain. Oh yeah and these services are free with membership. For my job I had to go to about 15 different clubs and dispensaries around the North and East bay and I found the people here to be the most welcoming, warm and helpful. The environment feels safe and clean and the services they provide are great (although not as full service as some of the other clubs but I think that is because they are only a few months old). Oh yeah and the medicine is good too ;)

this is my favorite cannabis club. everyone who works here is so sweet, kind, loving, wonderful, and professional! and i feel like i truly have a cannabis family here (heart) the medical marijuana community is amazing and this club reminds me just how special and wonderful stoners are! their medicine is unbelievably amazing--you honestly can't leave the club without finding something that piques your interest! and everyone who comes here often is so kind--i've met so many of my closest friends at this wonderful haven. they take care of each other here and there are weekly community events like Tuesday womyn's tea, an LGBT support group, and other wonderful things that you can't find ANYWHERE else! everyone here is amazing and they have the coolest hash bar and vaporizers and prettiest bongs. they also have an awesome membership program where every $20 you spend, they make a note of it, and after you've spent a certain amount of money, you get a free gram. they have wonderful things like that that make you come back for your medicine. and they love it when you support other cannabis clubs too--this is the only club that i've felt comfortable bringing medicine from other clubs to cos they understand how fragile these beautiful communities are.

Amazing first visit there... got edibled out while waiting in line & tried out some of my new bud. Chelsea was super helpful with helping me pick out bud and was super friendly and inviting!!!

Very nice place. It was easy to find but the parking kinda was pooh.....I found a spot on the street easily though. Good selection and pirices were decent. Budtenders were cool and friendly. I'll be going back.

I am another vendor they are trying to rip off and this includes their new consulting group offering to pay 30 cents on the dollar. This does not cut it for me and I will pursue this to the fullest extent. Please do not support this business. It will only be a matter of time before they are out of business which is what they deserve for treating vendors the way they do.

First time buyer at CBCB and got hooked up with two pre-rolls, two juice shots, and a capsule! Prices are a bit high, but so far quality is up to par! I went in last night and bought a gram of black jack and classic af gooey  aaand 1/16 of Sour Diesel. I smoked some of black jack last night and loved it, however my friend got some pink grapefruit and I have to say it was rather yummy. John (i believe was his name, has long dreads) was absolutely fantastic! he listened to my needs and told me about the ones he had experienced. I looked over to the women next to him and she was quite the opposite, dull and not once did i see her smile, hopefully the get some more budtenders like John (?) because  he definitely made the experience more enjoyable! I love how there are seats and tables. The gentleman at the front desk was also polite and got us processed into the system quickly! Will for sure be coming back : )

Been here twice and the first time was awesome! jonathan was very patient, personable and enthusiastic, he helped my girlfriend and I together and was simply delightful, for me a good bud tender is very important because i'm very selective. we ended up getting an 1/8th of cherry cough that was spectacular, very good smell and taste and also a disposable bumble bee vape pen it was also really great it tasted of sweet and sour pine and very heavy buzz, oh yeah and some great black lime cannoli hash that was tasty and melty , I went back 2 weeks later or so and was not as satisfied, the bud tender was and older gentlemen and was not as knowledgeable but still polite and patient, we got some island sweet skunk that was killer and another bumble be vape pen, same strain, I got home to medicate using the bumble bee pen only to be shocked at its horrible taste! it tasted of burnt matches and fireworks! I threw out the receipt and I also drove almost an hour to get there so im at a loss here very bummed out. Overall I think its a good place they have fruits on the tables and free refreshments

Authentication process was pretty quick and easy and no problems with creepy security guards but the flowers were pretty disappointing, all out door and even the top shelf didn't appear to be true chronic. Definitely over priced compared to delivery or San Francisco clubs.

Just had a wonderful experience with Lance I think his name was.. Black guy with braids.. He was very warm and not pushy. Was open to listen to my needs and was super delightful as well. Very articulate and great energy.. I love the selection and prices.. I drive 20 mins to go.. Great staff a few I recognize from other places which I delighted in seeing them here..One female reminds me of my long lost cousin who passed away 2001  she was a super person with great energy.. The lady was there today all the way to the left.Super warm smile .... Thanks guys great job hiring..Miss the lounge but understand..  By the way I work at another dispensary but love this place.. Peace and love..  the recovering purple head who vapes og now...  Love my sativas.. by the way og is a sativa..so is headband.. I bought the og today and its fantastic.. one of the few places to consistently carry one of the best sativas around,, Trainwreck.. Very helpful staff and nice too.  Helped my husband find exactly what he needed for pain relief.  Caring people.Great selection and prices, specials all the time.  Relaxed atmosphere, but still safely open during pandemic.  I recommend this store over all the others in the area.  Thank you, CBCB!

I had a scheduled interview and the manager ended up being 35+ minutes late. We proceeded with the interview, and I consented to a background check (which should have only taken a day or two) only to never hear back. Completely disrespectful of my time as someone who is entirely capable of performing this job.

found their website looking to purchase a gift for a friend's birthday. spent 2 hours looking through their website reading about the products and reviews. put in a hold order within the 48 hour window. no email notification is sent for what i selected, but i get a text with no order number or anything. that should have been the first red flag. i get a text the next day saying my order is ready for pick up, which is perfect because I SELECTED a pick up on friday between 12pm -3pm. then i get a text stating "pick up request declined" on friday morning. i didn't decline it, so who did? turns out, these employees don't pay attention to detail nor do they note the details on the "hold" items for pick up. i asked why it was declined and Jimmy said we have a 48 hour rule. um heller Jimmy, anything from wednesday evening should still be held until friday evening. 48 hours is TWO DAYS!

Two words: inconsistent & unreliable.I live two blocks away and won't go there anymore because it's a waste of my time.There is no consistency in the product selection or supply.Imho the most dysfunctional dispensary I've ever been too.

My first impression of CBCB was cremated pre pandemic. A dispensary with a live DJ . I'm looking forward to when this era returns. I have tried all the other local dispensaries but CBCB wins hands down based of its staff and quality of products.

Whether u r the 1 buying that cannibinoid or u r the fun bringing joy into this place it will balance you out indica-style

Mark, Sean, Kendall, Gene and others are fabulous people and all do a lovely job. I've never had any problems with the order either. They make smart substitutions when needed, which is rare.  I've made about a dozen or more orders so far and will continue to do so as long as there are no added fees. Then my lazy body will walk to CBCB. A good experience all around. Mark has been especially kind to me.  :)

Great place. Decent prices, big selection. Interior is awesome and relaxing and the people that work their are so helpful and nice. I recommend this store above the others in the area!

To be honest I think CBCB is one of the best dispensaries in the area. Prices are reasonable and staff are helpful. Just to be clear, I tried it once in college but I never inhaled 😱🤪
