This is my to-go place. Great location. Most of the staff knows what they are talking about and have great recommendations. Menu is updated daily, if not multiple times of the day, which is BIG PLUS. Huge selection of product. Pricing is fairly reasonable. There are menus to look at while you are in line. They have two menus; flower, and concentrates, edibles, cartridges. They give you the before and after tax prices, so you are not blindsided. If you want to look at a product, they will bring out the display and show you. If they have a better recommendation than what you want, they will suggest it. They have daily deals which is pretty rad. They are open 365 days a year, which is a huge plus. I do hope they take care of their employees on the holidays. Bathrooms are gender neutral. Lines get long, but I figure that is a good thing. I can tell they try and speed through the lines. What I don't like about this place? Their 'loyalty' program is shit. Scan ID cards and wasting paper. If I wanted to swag with the Nectar logo on it, I would buy it. Give us discounts on cannabis product. Some employees will push to get you to be part of their program, which is off putting. I only want to say 'no thank you' one time on my visit. They do waste a lot of paper, whether it is hundreds of weekly discount sheets or the paper bags that they stamp with their logo that they put the plastic 'child proof' bags in. Their parking lot is so-so. It is set up to go in one direction, because of the slants in the parking spots, but people always go int he wrong direction. This is a place where I would feel comfortable to bring my mother or grandfather. It is clean and no waiting outside in the rain to be let in the building.
Great location, atmosphere, and products! I had been looking for a concentrate that had a good taste, a descent price point, and a really heavy high and I have found that with Oregon genetics concentrates which almost always are supplied here! Great place and plan to continue to go back!
This place is amazing! It's my favorite dispensary around. The staff is always so kind and willing to tell you anything you need to know. They have an awesome variety as well
Bad business model. One of the biggest problems with this place is how they sell their product. Flower is prepackaged, ounces in generic glass jars, smaller amounts in little black pill type containers. Most shops will make up your purchase out of larger containers so you can see what you get. They didn't have the breed that was on their menu so I had to get something else. I also bought some grams of the breed I wanted. When I got home I opened the jar and was unhappy with the large amount of stem they left on the flower, it was also a little to dry. Bummer. Next I opened one of the little black containers. Two major issues. First the clerk gave me the wrong breed. He obviously didn't even look at the label. Second all the flower in these was super dry, basically crispy. I'm thinking these containers are not airtight. This is the worse shopping experience I've had at a shop like this and won't be back.
Live life live this dispensary but it would be nice for them to quit running out of batteries & grams of oil. I have yet to be able to buy the same ones twice. I guess v this is what happens when they are so popular and are a high demand dispensary and if other places had the rewards program then they would be likely to have more customers like this dispensary does. I visited on 9/7/18 and got 2vpre rolled joints that were actually decent and I don't smoke flower any more
Great place friendly upbeat staff' my first place to go. Would recommend to anyone. Like the other merchandise they have available to purchase.
SERIOUSLY over priced.Even for a medical user.. Charging $28 for "The Who" cannabis C02 pen HALF GRAM!!!!!!! :'(They are charging $44 for an eighth of green bud! Kaiser Medical prices are too high then waste your time with this place. Northwest Medical compassion Clinic over on Halsey and 238th they have really good prices stellar customer service!!! As with most of the places around town. I am simply appalled by this locations prices.
Nice place but I always leave feeling slightly ripped off and have never loved anything I bought there. Last time I went it the bald guy was nice and helpful and must have pulled out like 6 jars for me to look at, which is great but when I decided on just one jar (a $30 purchase ) he said "oh that's it after all that work?". So once again I left some more shitty weed and salty. Lesson learned stick smaller more personal dispensary.
I'd upgrade the score on subsequent visits. I'd certainly like to. As, ultimately, the product was well-curated by the budtender and a crippler (for good). However, the glassware in this store is just bad. They seem to have fallen in with one vendor in particular whose glass is heroically meh. The complimentary coffee in the vestibule was empty. And, even though I was the only one in the store, I got scolded by said budtender for walking right to the counter instead of waiting to be called on, reminder, there was nobody else to call. I do quite bit of billion dollar retail in companies that dwarf these folks and that kinda stuff would get you punted to the moon if a manager overheard it, and it really makes me, the customer, a full-grown adult and paying patron, feel like a dink who just needs to go to the next dispensary of which there are many in Portland. This place is close. The prices are good. It simply makes sense to patronize. Hopefully by next time they at least tighten up customer service and maybe even get some real glass for sale.
Wake up, it's 2017, and it's time to admit weed is like any other casual drug, and also more importantly it's time to admit if someone can walk around at a party drinking from a beer bottle, it's fine to walk around with an entire bottle of wine and drink from that. It's true! If the point is drinking why not straight from the wine bottle?! Why is beer special?!?!?! I digress. I was in Portland (close to) for a wedding and I wanted to get the bride and groom a lil' something. I enjoyed this store so much I didn't get them anything. Nope, all for me. So... nonsmoking for me, but when it comes to edibles they had more than enough. They had CBD options and various hybrids. Lots to choose from just nothing very powerful. If you come from a state such a California you may find the levels of THC to be lower... I believe it's the current reality of selling weed legally. But also consider your tolerance levels are way too high because you're smokin' a bit too much. Hey man, I'm not trying to harsh your buzz, I'm just saying, life is about moderation. And also we don't really know what life is about. So ignore those last two sentences. No I'm not high right now.The service here is top notch. I'm talking like... that hotel dude in John Wick level of class. This IS par for the course, btw; if you're new to dispensaries. People tend to be super nice and super helpful. Maybe it's because they're actually passionate about their retail job. Maybe it's because weed is a mood booster at times. Maybe it's just happenstance. Either way it's great.Cash only here, FYI. But they have an ATM in there. I think this is my first... or maybe second dispensary review. So I'm not sure what else to say to be helpful. Sorry I don't smoke. I can't help you there. Definitely come here if you're looking for a pleasant place to purchase your future chill time. Thanks to everyone here who welcomed me and helped me out!
The staff is really awesome, fun, and knowledgeable! Only had 1 rude guy that worked thete but havnt seen him in awhile. Its an awesome shop with lots of choices of all kinds of cannabis and merchandise to buy with the logo!!!! Great specials as well!!
The store was pretty small. The people seemed nice enough. I loved all of the hats, shirts, etc. that they were selling.
While they have a fantastic selection generally, the setup is weird. You wait in line and make your decision at the counter. That makes it really difficult to browse and actually look at the product and also pressures you to make a decision quickly without getting a chance to look at the bud. At other stores, you can look at and smell the bud before purchasing and its wonderful. They only keep a couple of menus by the waiting lines and so you have to buy sight unseen or spend a lot of time at the counter making your decision (unless you already know what you want.) The budtenders are hit and miss too. Some are very helpful and friendly and others act irritated and make you feel rushed. My budtender acted like his priority was to sell me anything and get on to the next person. It was unpleasant. Also, when I asked about a vape distillate, the budtender had never heard of the product and tried to convince me that another product was what I was looking for (not even close). It bothers me that a budtender would be so confused over a simple product. You either have it or you don't and he didn't seem to be able to figure out exactly what I was asking. I finally got frustrated and left and bought what I needed at Cannabis Nation. If the budtenders at Nectar could stay up to date on products, be familiar with what people are asking about, try to order it, etc... it would make a big difference. Nectar has a beautiful store and a wide variety, but the bud tends to have a lot of stems unless you buy top shelf and the setup and budtenders aren't great. I'll still get my edibles here, but for everything else, I'll go to Cannabis Nation instead.
Anytime I go to Nectar, I always receive excellent service and help. All of the employees are friendly and are always ready with answers to any questions I have. I want to give a shout out to Hunter, who was very helpful the last time I was at the shop with a friend. He made some excellent recommendations and I am always happy with the prices and specials that they offer. Sunday Funday is the best deal ever!!! BOGO.....how can you beat that?
Nectar is amazing! I swear every time I come in to buy stuff there is always a great deal going on! Love it!!
My new favorite dispensary, great deals on pre-rolls and flower. They have a wide range of products and the friendliest staff who are extremely knowledgeable about their wares. Look for their 'Deal Days' to save $$.
Kind of pricey. Long lines. If you buy from them make sure you check your product before you leave as I have been given something other than what I asked for MANY times, and then they want you to wait in their long ass line again to fix the problem after you already waited in line once, and they messed up. In my opinion, good customer service would be to quickly switch out my product and let me be on my way, instead of further inconveniencing my day. I just moved here and this place was right down the road from my house so I made it my regular, but now I'm looking for something different because of the above mentioned issues.
Nectar has a pretty wide selection to choose from, which is always nice. They have pretty cool merch too. Employees are nice and patient. However their weed is the driest there is. Even when I ask to see the weed when before I buy it they tell me "we have a freshness packet that prevents it from drying." Low and behold it's really dry. I leave for a while and come back thinking it was just a bad day. Nope... dry every time. :( With how much they charge you would expect a great product every time.
I just moved to Oregon last year from Maryland and I've only been to this Nectar once. I explained what I needed (anti-anxiety, something to help me sleep and something a little trippy). They were good at understanding why an old hippy from the east coast feels a little weird walking into a store to buy weed. Back in the day, I was arrested for it...lol My budtender understood exactly what I needed, furnished me with some Orange Crush and it was a perfect fit for me. I don't find the prices unreasonable for what I get. I will certainly return.
The lines always are ridiculously long when I come here. There is no points system as far as I know and their prices are kindof high. They do have some nice varieties. Although u can only see tge names on shelves and have to ask to see each strain youd like to view.I wish they would put sample viewing jars out at least. That would cut down on alot of time as alot of plp determine what they want based on looks. With his many locations that are popping up now it is I would like to see more of them offer some type of Loyalty Rewards program. Things went from being 5 to $8 a gram in the industry to now the average being 10 to $18 a gram. People still need to rise up and ask where is all the revenue from the taxes going. The dispensaries in the state just want more more money. We're still waiting to see a kick back on the benefits of the tax revenue. But yet they just passed another Transportation Bill to charge more money?
Excellent selection and cute clothes. Very clean new store, friendly service. Definitely the best shop I've been to in this area.
Wow! What a great experience at Nectar in Gresham! Very friendly and helpful bud tenders, lots of stock, and clean, professionally run operation! Love this place, and I will be back! Special shout out to the manager, Kupcake, as well as Catherine who went above and beyond to help!
Nice selection, plenty of parking, great advice, great product, easiest process in town with no check-in/locked door. I felt very welcome.
I love this place because how late they stay open most places stay open till 8 or 9pm this dispensary stays open all year round 10am to 10pm
Came to Nectar in Greshman. The service was pleasant and my Bud Tinder James was on point with all questions I asked. Definitely will be back!
I haven't been to this new location yet and I gave it a try one day and was very pleased with the help I got. The parking lots horrendous but when I walked in it was the most chill atmosphere I've experienced in a dispensary. The guy behind the counter took his time with me explaining 6 different strains and no one has ever been so in depth with me before it was very informative... I wish I got his name... anyways I usually go to Cannabis Nation cause it's closer to home but I think I'm going to go here more often. I really enjoyed myself here. I recommend it to anyone
So happy we have such an awesome dispensary in Gresham! The staff is very helpful and kind. Mike S is always cracking jokes with me when I go in, he's one of my favorites! The prerolls are a great deal, and the Nectar swag is pretty rad too. I'm going to pick up a pair of leggings next time I visit.
Dont go here unless u want to double check that employees are doing there job correctly on 4 different occasions I have found that they are recording wrong percentages on the menus and after calling and letting them know they told me they could careless and said people make mistakes.... well 4 was to much for me. Kaleafa is better anyways
I have had excellent service from this dispensary every single time I've gone here. They are exceptional from the variety of product (dozens and dozens of varieties of flower, edibles and concentrates, for example), to the knowledge base of their professional staff. I always feel welcome, and never rushed. They are careful to ensure that every discount is applied and allow clients to see and smell the product before purchase. They have a variety of cost levels for differing budgets. Prices vary, and deals are plentiful!! This is an exceptional location who I would recommend highly to any cannabis shopper.
First time customer: Tony was great! His knowledge, patience, and exceptional customer service helped me to make wise purchases beneficial for my health. After 40 years of prescription meds, it was time to take a leap. As soon as I arrived home, I partnered half an edible serving with a half portion of tincture. After 20minutes the sharp stabbing in my gut from Crohn's Disease became less painful. The fibromyalgia quieted down to a tolerable ache. Thank you Tony! I couldn't have done it without your kind, courteous, and respectful assistance.
They keep erasing my review, I'll keep putting it up. The black guy who was helping me was terrible. Didn't care what I wanted and just wanted me to make a purchase and move on the next person.
This store is nice, great selection, friendly & helpful staffBut every time i've ever been there the line is quite literally out the door. It's ridiculous and i inly say so because the staff talks to much to the customer. Get the sale done and get to the next person. Just disrespectful to me when a customer is at the counter more than 20 minutes and i have to sit and wait.
Your average corporate cannabis retail store filled with young hipsters. I am not a fan of pre packaged weed. I like to see my weed being weighed out. I find the weed dry when it has been pre packaged and the jar opened and closed repeatedly to show customers. Good weekly and holiday deals. Rarely ever the same staff because they treat their budtenders like they are disposable. Took my disabled friend to make a purchase this summer and she had a horrible experience. The store is quite large and she isn't from here so had never been. Despite there being a staff member at the entrance of the store, no one assisted my friend. She was basically having a panic attack because she didn't know where to go as a medical patient. When she commented to the budtender at the register, she got a mouthful of " we're the best!" which rubbed her wrong because she likes her little dispensary back home where they know her name and what she likes to smoke. Overall was a very stressful experience for her.
this place sucks ! im in a wheelchair and was totaly disrespected twice by jerks offs behind the counter ! what a bunch of snowflakes , both times they had to run to there cry closets instead of dealing respectfully to a older disabled man ! i like others spend hundreds of $ here every week !now i will move to a respectful dealer ! fu.
Nectar has been my go to dispensary for years. But unfortunately after my last two visits to this Gresham location it has made me never want to return to nectar ever again. You've lost a loyal customer due to how rude your employees are. Instead of asking customer what do you want in a rude tone how about assist them. Employees shouldn't act like customer are a burden when trying to look at your product, That was my first experience. My second experience I waited 15 minutes to have someone help me just to be ignored and have them help other customers behind me even when I said something they didn't care or acknowledge me. Glad to here some of your locations are already having some legal trouble. Good luck!
Normally I don't care for nectar but when it comes to being able to get curbside service seeing as I am a mom who can't always break away to the dispensary by herself I utilize them unfortunately. This particular evening I put the order in online they message me probably five or 10 minutes later stating that they received the order and I that it was ready .. so I pull up I give them a call and I'm literally sitting outside waiting at least 10 minutes because I'm watching the clock. So then I proceed to get out of my car to go inside to make my purchase and I noticed that there are at least four workers standing around not doing anything while I'm literally sitting outside waiting for somebody to bring me my order. For some reason when nectar employees are wrong or they aren't on top of their shit they always seem to get an attitude with you so of course instead of the man listening to what I'm saying he's so focused on everything else that he tells me I can't find your order because he's so focused on trying to read my ID instead of just looking at it for the date of birth which is what they look at . so I'm sitting there when you tell him he can't find my order when I clearly told him with my order was under for him to give me a attitude to and take even longer to get my already made order. I am so sick of the wack ass customer service nectar gives that's why I do curbside it's minimal dealings with them.
If you know me, you know I don't partake, and that I also do a lot of community service involving the running of errands. So one such day I ended up here, but first, let me share a story or two about my experience with cannabis, because first and foremost, I'm a storyteller. One of my very first jobs at the tender age of twelve was babysitting- for a dealer, in the 70s, so I've been around MJ for quite a while. Today's stuff is quite a bit different, but it still smells the same. For a while I worked in advertising and experienced "special" brownies, then later I reconnected with an old friend who's dad had cancer shortly after medical became legal, so I learned how to help out with that. Now I know someone going thru some pretty severe anxiety and a bit of PTSD. I wanted to recommend MJ but he doesn't trust me, and he's hard core against drugs. I know some of his friends and that one of them uses MJ, so instead I suggested he talk to this friend about his anxiety to see if he had any ideas. It worked, and that's how I ended up here.I needed to buy some CBD for anxiety and sleep, so we looked on the website and ordered online. You can order for curbside or pick up inside. It's best to bring cash, but they do have an ATM. If you don't order online, be prepared to wait. Ordering online was easy, service was fantastic, and there was no wait (unless you didn't pre-order, then there is a long line.) Highly recommended. I will be back. Oh, and if you want to hear more stories about my adventures in MJ, just ask. I have plenty.
Nice employee's but old product that left me sick. Didn't even offer to replace it. RSO keeps best refrigerated and used within a few months. Second time this has happened. Always check your products born on or made on date and find a location that keeps their product refrigerated. This old product caused me to throw up and be very sick the last few days. When fighting cancer side affects you depend on nausea products to be effective.
The best!
Good variety and great staff.
Love it the people that work there are awesome. The woman are beautiful smart and sweet the guys are funny. Very cool place to go. To the staff I'm sorry if you feel I'm over the top or too flirty. I'm me I'm sorry if I intimidate any if you. I'm just me trying to meet new friends please forgive me for my actions.
