Called in due to an item being out of inventory on my previous trip to the location. Lisa picked up the phone and was extremely rude from the moment our conversation began. I asked to speak with a budtender or manager as she didn't know (or understand) the inventory. She refused to transfer me and without question terminated the phone call. Unfortunately for her I am familiar with Kelly and when I called back and asked for him, she promptly transferred me after a few unnecessary comments. I spoke with Alexandria who answered my question in a matter of seconds and thanked me for my call. I always have the best of luck here and the only times I've had issues is with Lisa. There is no reason to be so rude to patients calling in for inventory questions. Very condescending demeanor out of Lisa. With all the other dispensaries in such a close proximity to Ponderosa you would think the front office staff would go above and beyond for everyone, when that's not the case. Read my previous review, never a complaint until today. When I see Lisa either gone or with an improved attitude towards patients I will update my review.

This shop rocks, might be my favorite shop so far. Ive been to shops in Oregon, Washington, Vegas, Cali, and all over Az, these guys' selection and prices are top notch. Not only are the prices good for the product but the people who work there are friendly and knowledgable. The first timer special is awesome too. Releaf and White Mountain are the best shops in the area, dont @ me.

Went there for the first time and that flower is fire. One if not the best dispensary if your looking for some great medicine. Will definitely be back. Amazing deals to go with it.

Best experience in three years. Very good prices. Extra special employees. Small high quality case of Pipes bongs and Accessories available.

I love this place and the PCA's are awesome. But honestly, they need to be better at handling rushes. There's no excuse for your lobby being completely full and no where to sit. There is a 30 minute wait and no express available except to pre-orders. Anyone who has anything planned that day will have no choice but to leave and give their money to someone else. Seems like they need to either get a faster system, an express lane for people who know exactly what they want, or extra staff when they anticipate sales to regenerate more patients.

Worst curbside service ever! Received text order was ready and had to wait 45 min in line to get it!

Leaps and bounds my favorite in the valley. Great medicine(deli style not pre packed) and amazing deals daily. I know what you're thinking... dude works there. Nope! Just my favorite spot. You try them out, they'll be yours too.

Despite all the negative reviews I see on here (which surprised me) ponderosa is my favorite dispensary on the west valley. From their awesome point system, to their value popcorn 1/8ths which seem to always be top quality despite the bargain, their customer service is pretty good i've had a pleasant experience with most of the bud tenders there. While I can admit they could social distance a little better in their lobby, I understand that the traffic for customers is starting to pick up due to the law changes in AZ. I love ponderosa, I shop there all the time, and my favorite strain (that I wish they had more often) is Joel's Lemonade

54 dollar 8th of shake. Refused to actually make it right. Offered a preroll in place stating there was nothing wrong with the flower. In what world do you live in? Dry and shakey buds when you're sold "top shelf" is unacceptable not to mention less potent than proper buds. I'd rather not get flower at all than to shop here. It's that bad.

I m visiting from Los Angeles and been to a couple of shops and was disappointed with the quality of buds until I found this place .Friendly from security to the bud tenders who know what they are talking about when it comes to product. The bud is top shelf like I'm used to will be back next time I'm here .Also no standing in line for nearly an hour like other places , in and out in 5 minutes.

I love this place. Every time I walk in it's super chill. I love talking about the different strains with the bud tenders here. They always know what to recommend me. I'm never disappointed by their selection either. Even when I move to a different part of town I'm still coming back here. That's how much I like this place. This is my top 5 favorite in the valley for flower for sure. Also, there is so much room in there now since the expansion! Thank you for keeping us sane during the worst year of all time.

Earned an extra star for the quality of their bud but the customer flow sucks. Don't bother "express ordering" as you wait in the same line to go as people walking in. Their "express window" is right next to their only ATM which takes time away from people just picking up their orders because only one person is allowed in the vicinity. Again, the quality of their products is great. Don't expect to practice social distancing as their one line to get in gets pretty crowded as is.

They've changed the way their point system works and I really like it...service has definitely improved in the past month and employees are still really kind. I've continued coming back because they have such a good selection of concentrate and employees are so helpful

Disappointed in customer service the minute I walked in. Female security stopped me like a criminal and told me I couldn't take my purse into the "sales floor". Informed me I needed to leave my purse in the car. Ummmmm negative. KAREN walked up with a BEACH BAG and was allowed to walk inside. I'll go to 1 million other locations. Lost money..

Fire weed ! But very overpriced. I'm from Oregon so to see the prices here is mind blowing . But I believe ponderosa is worth it .

This dispensary regularly and intentionally advertises false prices in order to draw customers in. They had an advertised price on leafly and I called to confirm the price. The person at the front desk confirmed the price and I drove way out of my way and spent $20 on fuel just to get there. Only to be informed that my call brought it to their attention that they had misrepresented themselves and they refused to honor the price that they advertised.

I freaking love you guys! Such good vibes just walking in. I love the teamwork I see and the service always has me leaving with a smile! I love your dream team up front they are always on there A game and so curtious! Of course you guys have the BEST FLOWER AND CONCENTRATE AROUND 💓

Online Order is constantly cancelled. Called and said that one of my items was out of stock. Their competitors contact you and make changes so you can still get your other items. No priority or breaks for medical patients even though we are the reason they have been open so long and so successful. Really disappointed I need to find a new place. Spent lots of $$$ here, sad to see med patients aren't important to this establishment anymore.

I went to this location with a friend on a Sunday. I had plans to browse what they had and gave them my drivers license and told the receptionist I wasn’t planning on buying anything. I said “I’m curious and I’m just here to look around.” The receptionist was great. He understood and said someone would be with me. I was greeted by a bud tender and went to the back. The bud tender tells me if I have no intention of buying then he can’t show me anything. Wait..what?? So if I don’t buy anything they can’t show me what they have? Yep! I requested to speak with a manager who said “We are a privately owned business and we aren’t required to provide anything in writing as to why we cannot serve a customer who isn’t buying anything.” In business, sometimes the customer needs to be educated before they’re a buyer. On their website, they state they treat all their customers like family. I won’t be back. There are plenty of other dispensaries who will satisfy my curiosity without requiring me to pay for an item. Eventually, this dispensary will realize sometimes it’s better to educate a customer than to treat a customer without equality.

Ponderosa has some of the best strains in the valley. I'd drive 100 miles for Joel's lemonade! Best in house concentrates by far. Great staff. Hands down one of my very favorite strains available. Always worth the drive.
