Okay, people need to stop shelling out one-star reviews about this place because it's absolutely fantastic! The staff is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable and you're never made to feel like anything other than family. From the security guard who greets you to the awesome folks who check you out (shout out to Jordan!), there's nothing but good here. Yes, if you arrive an hour before closing you may be turned away because it's a business and that's how they work sometimes but, in my experience, I've found the peeps at Terrasana to be nothing but great! As for wait times, I've been lucky in that I haven't had to wait for very long but, this is the only dispensary in central Ohio, so sometimes you're just going to have to wait. But you're waiting for the most wonderful thing ever: legal flower!!! (Also, if you're worried about waiting just call them to see how long the wait is then decide whether to make the journey.) Definitely give this place a try!
The whole process moved very quickly. It was my first time there and in was in and out in under 45 minutes. I arrived at 3pm on a Friday. Everyone was very helpful and nice. Prices are high, as they are currently the only dispensary open in Columbus.
Let me update my review by adding skip this s**t hole and go to Bloom!!!! Much nicer atmosphere and never any lines. Terrasana's customer service is non existent! I waited in line on Good Friday for 2 hours in the rain and cold. Finally got inside - another 40 minute wait, I presented my Ohio Medical Marijuana card and my valid ID. After about 15 minutes or so a young lady presented herself as Emilie Ramach as the Manager of dispensary. She told me while I did have a valid MM card in my hand and a valid ID that "Pharmacy Board" did something wrong because the numbers in her data base didn't match. I told her that was unfortunate but sounded like a "her problem" and perhaps she should sort it out with the Board of Pharmacy, why was she telling me all of this?? Ms Ramach stated while my ID is valid and my MM card is valid because the Board of Pharmacy did something wrong "like entered the some of numbers incorrectly" and she could not allow me to make any purchase. I asked her to check the numbers again, she stated they had checked it several times. No "I am sorry", no sympathy for me waiting for nearly three hours only to be denied. She did not take me to private room to this for me devastating news but choose to tell me in front everybody in the entire room. Can I say embarrassing? I was aggravated. I asked Ms Ramach are you sure cause I am not someone you would like to make mad. An older security guard asked me (a 60 yo grandmother with chronic knee, hip and back pain) if that was a "threat". Really? I said "if I was going to do something sir, I assure you, you would never see me coming". Thank you Terrasana staff for your complete lack of empathy and non existent kindness. Ms Ramach your interpersonal skills could use a bit of work dearie! Called the Board of Pharmacy and they checked all of my information and said it was all correct. I then called the number listed for Terrasana and spoke to an extremely pleasant young lady. I gave her my numbers and she checked her computer and told me everything matched. I told her I was coming back down to Terrasana. I was extremely aggravated I had done nothing wrong, I have driven to Terrasana (this is my third trip - each about an hour drive). When I arrived I asked to speak with Ms. Ramach and told her what the Board of Pharmacy told me. She just blew me off. I asked her if she or her staff could have entered the numbers incorrectly? She would not admit any potential for error on her or her staff's part. She stated "well now you won't have anymore problems". AGAIN I have done nothing wrong and am trying to make a legal purchase, with all the correct documents and she had "wrongly" in my eyes turned me away, wasted my time, upset me, caused me incredible anxiety and she had never once stated that she was sorry!! This is the only dispensary in town - suck it up. I worked with a young lady on the menu, made my selections and then a cashier to check out. When I walked out the older Security guard followed me out the door, around the corner and up to my car. I was very disturbed by a man following me - an older woman by herself to her car. I put my finger on my "panic" button and asked him could I help him? He said something about me getting to my car safely - I stated clearly to him I was ex-Military and I didn't want or need his help - I could take care of myself. This was extremely unnerving for me. On May 2, I drive back to Terrasana to make my second purchase. I check in at the desk without any incident and am sitting quietly in the waiting room. I am approached my a young hippy man, he identified himself as the manager and he was trying to talk to me - I have marked hearing difficulty and requested if he had a private place we could speak. He took me in a small room with an armed security guard - a young man I had seen on my first visit. He said I had been perceived by "someone" as a threat. He said because I told the guard (the creepy old guy) I was Military and I had said if I was going to do something to him he'd never see me coming. I told the manager I had said those things but they had been taken out of context. He told me that Ms Ramach had reported me to the Ohio Board of Pharmacy and banned me from Terrasana because of my "threatening" behavior. I stated clearly to him and the young guard that if they were concerned about me hurting them, their staff or other patients I gave him my word of honor that I would not. I told him this was absurd. We talked some further. He stated that me raising my voice upset other people. This manager seemed to want me to apologize for being ex military. He acted like my just being "ex military" was a threat. I will never apologize for my serving this country - that will just will not happen - not now and not ever. He and the guard went out and came back in and said because of my"threats" I was banned.
Nice dispensary will visit again, friendly staff! Many things to choose from. Would like to see 25/28 dollar range.
It is the 1st day they are open. After a 2 hour wait finally got in and was able to make my medical selections. Make sure to bring your medical card and Id. Had lots of flower selection and will have more options coming in April. It is quite expensive but was expected. Andrew was super friendly and helpful
Great organization and customer service. Some of the best prices and variety I have seen so far
I previously wrote favorable reviews but that was 10 months ago and they have seriously gone downhill and I will no longer shop there.Constant long lines, online orders screwed up (you show up to pick up your order and they are out of whatever), no one ever answers the phone, spotty inventory and high prices.Basically, they have a monopoly of sorts and don't need to improve customer service because they have a line all day long.
Considering this is the only dispensary in Columbus it will always be busy. I came 15 minutes before they Opened one morning and there was a line wrapped around the building. They only accept cash unless you download an app called Hypur. The ATM they have usually doesn't work. The prices are expensive however, what you are getting is top medical grade and knowing it hasn't been doused in chemicals or things you shouldn't be ingesting . Since the law currently says you cannot put flame to the buds, they sell the vaporizers there..DO NOT buy there they are over priced. Go to cloud 9 or a vape store instead. They offer edible gummies but the ones I got didn't do anything and it was a waste of $50.2.8 grams is the weight of each container you will get and prices range from $40-$89 depending on the percentage of THC.Everyone who works there is super friendly. Yes they have a security guard at the door and inside. It smells great in there and you really have no idea how many people need and use this until you are standing in line. When/if Ohio changes their laws to allow for recreational use, then Ohio will start selling the oils for vape pens. Unfortunately for that you have to go up to Michigan. Your OH medical card will work in Michigan per what the doctor said.
Great experience my first time. Went on a Saturday around 2:45pm during a noon OSU game. Waited 10 min. Felt like the workers were knowledgeable. I really appreciated the extra security measures. Will definitely go back.
Cant say I am happy with this place and their way of processing people in and out. The worst part is placing a order at 1030am then getting a text at 4pm saying my order is ready. You have to check in first. After that you still have an hour wait in the parking lot. To be called in. Needless to say I was turned around at the door @430 when I arrived and told I would have to place another different order tomorrow. I will do that. Just somewhere else for now on. Shame on you T you're messing with my medication and emotions
I have been unhappy with the Terrasana delivery system. First you order your product on line. Fine. You chose a pick up time. Again fine. You get an email from Terrasana saying they filled your order and pick it up at the prearranged time. Fine again. You get there during the appointed time and go to the door. They send you back to your car to wait for a phone call which comes 45 minutes later. And the reason is always the same: They are short handed. I can understand that, but why can't they give you an accurate window?
First of all let's give a round of applause for the tremendous amount of help and knowledge everyone who works there is able to impart on (Me for one) everyone! I'm starting my 'new' life beginning on the anniversary of my tbi! I will find a place to shed my scales so that my body is not the same as the one that had sinned I will be a new creation through God and His son's sacrifice!
Hummmmm, where do I start? This experience was weird and wild all at the same time. I suppose I'll preface this review by saying that yes, I've visited various dispensaries in other states. Yes, I know this is Ohio and we have a long way to go. And lastly, yes I know we're in the middle of the pandemic and that impacts how businesses are run. I totally understand all of those things and I hope anyone reading this does too. Ok, now onto the juicy details. Being that this was the first dispensary I have visited in Ohio, I made sure to do as much research as I could before heading in. That included reviewing their website and calling into to speak to someone about a few of the questions I had. Caleb was the individual I spoke to over the phone and he was very helpful and told me everything I needed to know about being a first time customer. If you are visiting for the first time, tell them that!! The customer service definitely lacked until I literally said, "Yo, I need your assistance, this is very new to me!" Especially when compared to experiences outside of Ohio. Anyhoo, generally (at least right now) orders have to be made ahead of time. You cannot just walk in. However, as a first time customer I was invited in for a consultation. After showing all my credentials, I eventually sat down with an amazing young lady named Ashley who walked me through everything I needed to know, made recommendations based off of my doctors suggestions, and helped me place my first order. Side note - Woof! Ohio has so many silly regulations and rules on this stuff, literally none of them make actual sense. This has nothing to do with the business except it obviously impacts their processes and the overall experience. After my order was made, I left to run a few errands and returned before closing. FYI - Orders must be placed before 4PM and must be made the day-of. They also don't hold orders overnight. Once I returned I was finally welcome into their secret backroom to pay for my purchase. No I was not allowed to see anything prior to paying and getting in my car. Very similar to a pharmacy experience. Additionally, you cannot use a credit card and there's a $3.50 charge to use a debit card. I was seriously advised to pay cash (you mean even with a legal card I still gotta pay cash??? LOLOLZ) or to download an app that I can connect my bank account to.In the end, everyone was extremely nice and the product I got was great (so far). My favorite (at the moment) is a topical pain patch. I get kidney stones regularly and the very next day I was almost heading to the ER because the pain was so unbearable. I remembered I just purchased this, put it on, and within an hour I had so much relief. $20 for a twelve hour pain remedy was way better than a trip to the ER. Ok, I'm done. I know I just wrote a novel but I hope it'll help a new customer one day!
Management?! Is there any? Highly disappointed to see the issue that brought me to leave this review has been a reoccuring issue for a few weeks for others as well. After a treacherous 1 hr drive due to a 670 closure, I was let in to be told that I could not be served (for an in & out pick up order!). Since employee breaks at the facility had not been properly managed for the day, the facility was closing for 1 hr so all 4 working employees could take a lunch together?! Never in my "shopping" endeavors, at any store, have I ever experienced this. While I was offered an additional 1 hr wait time for, my 12:30 pick up I ended up making late (445 by the time I reached the dispensery), I could not wait an hour for "employee lunch" (since apparently everyone needs to go at the same time here). I could not manage the wait due to being a single mom with a daycare cut off to make. Also could not make a return trip that evening since I would have my kids. Staff was very unapologetic and stared with just a deer with head lights expression on their faces. To top it off, I had to cancel my order forfeiting my discount for that day. Unacceptable! Do better Terrasana! Although you're lack of response to reviews leads be to believe that doing better is a false hope :(
I drove to Columbus from Dayton because the dispensaries near me were out of the product I usually buy only to get there and be turned away. I asked why their policy of no walk ins 30 minutes before closing and they stated it was on their website which if you see the picture it definitely is not. I proved it wasn’t posted and they still refused to serve me and when I politely explained that I just drove over an hour to get there and was out of meds. The worker copped an attitude with me and told me to go somewhere else, which I will be doing from here on out. I usually go to the Springfield location but I’m going to fully take my business elsewhere.
Decent prices they have lots of variety and lots of days of discounts throughout the month. You can ask for a monthly calendar that shows all the times and days where there are specials or vendors on site. They will also which is something new provide you a card with how many days left you have and how many you came in with. The only reason I did not give them five stars is because the ATM on site which they say is not theirs is limited to $200 for a $5 fee so I had to take out $200 twice so that I could pay for my medication resulting in $10 in fees from the ATM and no doubt fees from my bank as well I will think twice about coming back to this location because of that . If I do come back it will be with cash in hand and I will not be using their ATM. If you are vaccinated you are not required to wear a mask here if you aren't then they are asking that you do wear a mask please help stop the spread.
This doesn’t allow me to give them lower than 1 star, which is disappointing. I don’t even know where to start, there are so many issues here. They need to completely fire all their staff and hire new. It’s pathetic how bad it’s gotten. They are so disorganized and they change their hours and rules on a whim. One minute they take walk-ins and the next minute they don’t. You can never get through on the phone and their staff is beyond rude. I have three close friends and family members who USED to go here but after one left in tears we have all refused to return. Don’t waste your money or time here, they don’t deserve it. Go to the Botanist down the road on Vine. They have a bigger and better store and, more importantly, you get a smile, excellent service and amazing products.
I loved Terrasana in Springfield and moved to Columbus. This one was okay at first compared to Springfield but today they honestly lost me. I feel like as a medical dispensary they should be able to accommodate people with disabilities better especially because you have to have a medical condition to be legal. Today, there was a sign on the door saying they weren’t open till one but no where did it say that on the website. So I made a 30 minute drive to pick up my order scheduled at 11a. Frustrating but okay. I came back and there’s a very long, long line. I have a disorder where standing for long periods of time makes dizzy and there was no way to accommodate that here. It really sucked. I’m extremely disappointed and will be ordering from somewhere else. I would think that for a place that dispenses vital medicine with those for disabilities and medical conditions would have better accommodations and be able to handle these situations better. Hopefully they can make changes in the future to better equip themselves for these issues.
