This dispensary is STILL 5 STARS  but I'm only giving it this right now because I love every single budtender here & they are super nice, super friendly but there is just ONE budtender I do not like. It's BUDDY WITH THE BALD HEAD AND GLASSES. Everytime I go, its a great vibe til buddy comes out and starts doing the most actin like somebody boss. If MY budtender serving me has NO issue and has enough space to come and check me in, I do NOT understand why you gotta come up to me and BOTHER me. He acting like I purposely parked crooked on purpose??! Boy, what???? I'm literally parking the best I could but he wanna be extra'd out when I FIXED my parking and he aint even bother asking the other car to fix theirs as well. Buddy acting like he the boss or something like he the one signing off y'all checks lmao, completely ALWAYS doing the most. Its always an amazing wonderful vibe til I see his ass. He must be always doing the most on the clock too & i'm sorry y'all gotta deal with people like that. Then he gonna shoutout "Hey atleast you have some space!" Ohhh baby, we having ENOUGH space, nobody was tripping about it but YOU. I can't stand a mf always tryna do the most and be a Karen. If its not your business then dont come over here tryna worry about it baby.. Acting like I did that shit on purpose, Why would I purposely park crooked to the damn dispensary i come to 3 times a week if anything???? I know how shit is and how shit goes, why would I purposely do that? Tryna bring this weird ass energy to me like boy get yo ass on but anyways I love everybody else tho!!' they are super duper friendly and amazing :)) Best dispensary in Vegas :) All love

I had the best time here when i made it into the city after a cross country move and Rachel and Sabrina were so kind and helpful. I was able to do my whole order from recommendations and i couldn't feel better. I was blown away by the quality of service I received in store. Everyone was so kind. A one of a kind establishment

Well after all the taxes and the bucks they are making they were bought by a different company and took away the locals discount!! I think this is a shame. That's why people went to essence because of the discount!!! I was told they are looking to give a different discount, can't imagine what that will be, anyway this sucks and especially with COVID and so many out of work. I wonder if the liquor stores raised their prices too?This is taking advantage of the good people of Las Vegas. I don't know if I'll be back to this dispensary, need to find a new one! WITH A LOCALS DISCOUNT!! Terrible Business practices

I had lost interest in Essence for a while, frequenting a dispensary that was closer to my house, but I decided to go back a few weeks ago on a whim. There was no wait, I went right in and bought some items, and was pleased to receive a 10% locals discount. I left happy. About one week later I returned, but the experience was less happy.I had placed an order online, and am a medical patient... still, I was stood outside in the cold and at least 3 other patrons went in before I did. When I went in to pick up my order, it was about $20 more than I had anticipated. When I asked the girl about the discounts, she said they were no longer offering a locals discount.Also, I was signed up for the "high risers" text list, which I received for about a week, now they have stopped coming. This is why I lost interest in Essence the first time, inconsistency with the mailing list. This is how patients and customers learn about specials and promos, and they can't seem to keep their list straight. The "other" place I go to, I get notices nearly every day, so I am reminded of them and their specials. Essence doesn't seem to care about their "high risers" or their locals, so I will be shopping elsewhere, which is a drag, because honestly the flower there is probably better than the other place, although it is considerably more expensive, and no locals discount!

Service here is ok compared to all the other ones. also there is always a long wait in the parking lot and i dont know why when i go pick up :-( i wait always 15-20 mins where other locations take like 5 mins or less... its super annoying especially when im on my work break. they need to learn how to work efficient and faster i only come here since its close by but other than that i hate it !!!!! i dont recommend this location unless u have all the time of the day to be in lineafter 30 mins of waiting my server Kelly was fast and made sure to give me a discount for the trouble which i appreciate much! he did a great job but this location i will not be returning to :-( because of the long waits.

They've helped my Husband have a better lifestyle. Only thing I'd say is they have long lines but it's not a bad thing they just are great and worth the wait.

My first time ordering at essence I chose to do curbside pickup. I was in line for about 30 minutes. The security guards were so aggressive and rude when I didn't know where to go. It was really unnecessary. The person working who brought me my product was very nice. I really didn't want to go back again because of how aggressive security was but they had 2 for $30 incredibles so I decided to go back. This time I just picked up my order inside. Inconvenient but way better than being yelled at.

Out of all the essence location how the fuck yall dont do debit card? Like for real yall getting all this fucking bread from people I mean thousands of dollars not to mention so many other places have realized why the fuck we making them use the atm yall mfs need to get yall shit together and step your game up this will be the last time to this location until yall get some simple ass shit to make people's lives easier... ill go to the nicer location on Durango rather then this dump.

Club is cool. DO NOT USE DELIVERY SERVICES! Ive ordered delivery 5 times. Each time in disbelief of the previous experience. lol I have gotten my product only 2 times. When ordering they provide a "3 hour window". The 2 times I recieved my product, it was delivered 1 and 2 DAYS late!Regardless, when you put an order in for essence, dont expect it to arrive. It far less frustrating going into the facility despite covid, than waiting for the delivery team to figure out a plan. it shouldn't be difficult to support a local business with thousands of dollars. I recommend using anybody else for delivery if you are dependent on your medicine.

My favorite (and only one) dispensary to visit.  The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They take cleanliness and safety seriously, and it's all in all a nice, stress free experience. Leidy helped me out the last few times and she is a great person to rep the brand. I will tell all my friends about Essence .

This is my go to place for my healing medicine! The deals are great and a good variety of choices. I wish there was a rewards program though, I've spent a lot of money Updated: As of the beginning of COVID quarantine I've noticed they no longer do the 5 for $35 on pre-rolls.This was one of the reasons I kept going here so long . I live on a limited income and it was a joy to be able to get enough to last me at such a good price. I've had to start looking at other dispensaries and finding the deals because Essence rarely has PR deals anymore. Top Notch even sells a 3.5 gram of PR's for $32!I do love the service and quality here but unless they bring back that deal I'm going to have purchase from other places for financial reasons.

My Favorite dispensary! Always super nice, helpful, and clean! Great all around. Not only do they have multiple locations, but the online part of ordering is always great and easy. I have never had a problem l.

I am/was a committed customer to not just this dispensary location but the company itself for the amazing discounts they give to Veterans with service connected disabilities so this negative rating is legit! BAIT AND SWITCH: They say you can't get discounted for sale items BUT the items I ordered were not on sale just similar prices!!! Curbside may be convenient but difficult to dispute with minimal contact etc. Some things are just not excusable ESPECIALLY when this happens more than once, at more than one location AND because I have called TWICE  at the other branch with the same "someone will call you" but no callback! I just gave up. I guess it's because it's not la regular retail company but at least it brings me back to the days of buying off a street dealer!!!!

Okay, there staff is amazing! Every bud tender I've had has been amazing. However the system yall have is not working. The lines are insane. I get covid and following protocols but there is no way yall can't speed this up or have more guests inside. Waiting 30 minutes in line outside is a joke. Unfortunately will not be frequenting this location any longer.

I suddenly remember why I stopped coming here. System sucks. Lines are just as stupid as prices. You pay more then other places in town and wait FOREVER. OUTSIDE. Like junkies in line for crack. Go elsewhere. They are processing one person every 8 minutes. How do they even make money? Then I finally get inside and I need to listen to an employee and how they turned her life upside down and how she's going to have a aneurysm I don't care I just want my stuff and I want to go.

Due to the tire fire that 2020 has been, stress and anxiety have been getting the better of me. I was in need of some herbal remedy and have yet to try a local dispensary. Didn't know what to expect but saw the good reviews and knew it was close by. Decided on some edible gummies to help with sleep and stress. Didn't really feel like waiting in the line outside opted for the curbside pickup. Was kind of like 'ordering a pizza, you select your product, take a pic of your ID must be 21 or older and then continue with the checkout process. There's attendants that help you get to the pickup area. You are greeted by staff who ask to see your ID as well as confirm what you ordered. After you pay they deliver your order to your window in a sealed bag. Must say it was a very pleasant and pain free experience.  The staff was very nice and the gummies (Kiva sleep blueberry) were very nice.  Took the edge off , for a nice calm feeling. Might go with something a bit more powerful.

The staff here is extra rude, the managers here are just as bad ..... never again spending money in this place. There are too many dispensary's with way better customer service.

Long wait outside, workers not trying to hurry and expedite each customer ... only 3 workers for walk ins everyone else is focusing on drive thru yet the drive thru it's long wait also 30 minutes! they need to hire more employees ! And train them to work at a faster pace

Usually a great visit/purchase.   Staff was too busy to answer questions.  In fact they were obnoxious!    Looking for another dispensary.  I guess that's how they treat older people.    My last visit was not pleasant either.      I honestly don't think they care.

This is by far the best dispensary in the Las Vegas Valley. Camille at the Henderson location is simply fantastic. I don't remember all the names but I shopped Tuesday at 230pm, and the security guard was great, the manager, runners, all providing world class service. All Rockstars!Essence is a bit pricier, but the product is superior by far. Their own "Rhythm" brand disposable vapes make me want to throw all other brands in the trash. No other vapes come close to these in quality, potency, pleasure of clean vaping.  Their juice infused gummies in the little octagon boxes are artfully done, pure, potent, and deliver EXACTLY   on their intended purpose.I was going to other dispensaries to get better discounts, but came back to Essence. Hands down, they win on overall world class quality. Their top shelf "Banana Cookies" flower, used sparingly, is wonderful for deeper spiritual states of bliss.

I don't come here often but it's a hassle every time I come. Not because of the people that work here but because of whatever new policy or rule they've implemented since the last time you've been here. This time I ordered online, chose curbside pickup, went to go through the drive thru and was told it would be faster inside. No problem. Thanks for the info! Was inside before the pandemic. Generally inside medical and preorder are in the same line. Apparently that's not the case now. It would have been greatly appreciated to know that prior to coming inside and standing in line in an enclosed space during a pandemic. I would have happily stayed in my car for twice as long had I known that. If we're outside that's fine. I had no idea I'd be shoved into the regular line indoors. I'm so tired of dealing with this place and their drama. Their employees are amazing, but their policies and layout are not worth the trouble on top of the exorbitant price. The only reason that I gave 2 stars is the fact that employees are generally pretty great. But as for the constant issues, I'll just wait for the weed man next time.

I usually shop here and since 2017 have literally spent thousands of dollars at Essence. No more. I learned tonight they did away with their locals discount. There are supposedly other discounts. Not sure where/how since I couldn't get an ounce of top shelf flower for $400. Absolutely ridiculous. I'll take my business to a company that values locals.

I've been coming here for three years pretty much every week or so they completely change the menu no more grams no more green life productions it's pretty much a waste of time the only reason I forced myself to buy something is because I stood in a ridiculous line. their Vape pens are completely disgusting they usually have a sale because they're defective I'm taking my business of three years to MMJ BAD MOVE ALL AROUND. Essence has some daily deals that are good on disposable vapes my favorite is xj17 that one sells out pretty quickly. They also have deals on incredibles the dark cherry chocolate bar 1:1 is really good. If you like gummies I recommend Wyld the raspberry sativa Gives me the bump I need in the morning to get moving. I also really love the Marionberry indica that's for your afterwork rest! Super good flower is Jenny kush & Godzilla they are pricy but certainly have high thc , aroma & flavor.Super nice and knowledgeable staff! I visit quite often.

Fuck this place. I put in three orders they just cancel them with no explanation. Call to make an order just leave you on hold. Was my favorite place but I will never give them another dollar.

Losing their way. Customer service standards have dropped drastically for some reason. My name isn't "boss". Pro tip: If you're not going to address me by my name, then you should be calling me "sir". It's pretty much standard around the world. Anything else is condescending. Especially "boss". Because if I was their boss, I'd be teaching you a thing or two about how to wait on people. Whatever is going on over there is bad mojo. You need to straighten it out. too many dispensaries in town to be putting up with that. They have  rude, indifferent staff who don't know what they're talking about. That place used to be friendly and filled with knowledgeable budtenders. Now it's like the Target of dispensaries. What happened? Fix it, please.

Best dispensary in town friendly staff . I had a problem with one of the products , Kay and Jerd made sure I got taken care of in a fast and efficient matter. They were very helpful and no questions ask when it came to exchange ! Love the service here I don't ever go anywhere else!

I just want to say that I always come to this dispensary and have never had an issue till tonight. I bought my cart for my pen and it looks like a bad batch or someone already tried it. These carts usually come all the way filled and I was not happy when I saw this :'(

I give this place a one star for the simple fact that when you order curbside, there might be a possibility that you will wait for an hour or more. It's ridiculous. It's expensive with long wait lines.

If I was local, this would be my go to spot. There are so many dispensaries in LV; trying to find a good one is like trying to make a profitable bet on the roulette table. This is sin city after all.Essence is a cool dispensary out Henderson way. Obviously, it's not going to be on the radar for a lot of tourists, but I have some friends in the Henderson area, so it made sense for me to check it out. It's in a strip mall, so parking is basically a non issue. Per usual dispensary protocol, you will enter Essence and have to present all the relevant information. Depending on how crowded the dispensary is at the moment you arrive, you may have to wait ever so shortly. You'll then be directed to what looks like a cleaner, much more fun version of the DMV. You'll have a seat across from your budtender, and be handed an impressively large menu. I found the whole setup to be quite genius. Being rushed in dispensaries has led me to make some impulsive, uninformed choices. Being able to browse the menu and not feel rushed, all the while having an employee directly across from you to offer recommendations and answer questions is a brilliant decision on Essence's part.I felt the selection of edibles, strains, and everything in between to be surprisingly large. They have some unique hybrids, but have also managed to stay true to the bestsellers that people always come back to. Probably one of the most extensive menus I've seen, and that's impressive for a relatively new shop, let alone a new business in Nevada.My budtender was massively helpful, and led me to get some gummies that he noted were their best sellers. The best part about all of this? Not only were the prices fair, but the product exceeded my expectations. That is about as close to the jackpot as you can get in dispensary terms. I've been in criminally overpriced dispensaries that felt it was appropriate to upcharge simply on gimmicks or product they claimed was a cut above.Essence kept it real, and did so in the most comfortable way possible. Would highly recommend to locals, or tourists who find themselves wanting to branch out.

I had never been to a dispensary before.  The bud tender was so patient.  He really listened to my concerns.  He brought several options for me to see and discuss.  The lavender CBD bath salt was amazing.  It really helped my knee and ankle feel better.  Each strain I tried was different and each had the effect I was looking for.  I recently put in a next day delivery order.  I didn't realize it would take until the end of day to get my order.  I wasn't in a hurry, but now I know for next time.

Sorona and Taylor helped me and I had the best experience ever at a dispensary hands down. Essence are the og's, don't go anywhere else unless you want trash. Essence=gas. You wanna hit the gas, or the a**? You want gas. This sh** is fu**ing flames

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Me and my boyfriend placed our order and got the ready to pick up at 6pm. We arrived here at 6:30, upon arrival they informed us they were doing shift change and had to sterilize everything due to the Coronavirus and they'd open back up at 7:10. We understood and were fine with that. We came back at 7:10, and they tell us that it will be an additional hour and forty five minutes wait because they are "backed up". I told them our order was ready at 6:00 pm for pickup and they said they "don't know what to tell us". This is the worst customer service and experience I've ever had, I understand it can get backed up by orders but 4 hours wait when we were notified to come get it since it's ready? Absolutely ridiculous. Won't be coming back here again and I advise anyone else to spend your money at better dispensaries.

While the people who work there are very nice and helpful, the place is horribly ran. The lines are INSANE. Curbside pick up...LOL! I waited in my car for 30 minutes in a huge line and it barely moved...I left. No warnings of waits. Delivery? No. Sometimes. Not sure. Probably one of the more expensive places as well. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Justin was the most courteous, helpful, pleasant and professional employee I have ever met. He tried to accommodate me because I'm handicapped  and was so gracious in doing so. Management - Justin deserves huge kudos for his outstanding customer service.

This is my neighborhood pharmacy,and we can be found  right  here,at some point during at least every other day,we have never been dissapointed,and we are not easy to please!! The selection,and price for value coincides perfectly,and each visit is a lovely mini stop through paradise,as I always imagined it,anyway,budtenders are well informed,professional, and super laid back,but never lagging...I love to promote business for this local love of mine,it is a worthy reccomendation,and a reliable consistent standard of high class cannabis society.

Visited this place as it came highly recommended but when I walked in then first time I met Cedric at the door really pleasant and polite and knowledgeable in questions that were asked. Love Essence! Been going here for two years now and never had any problems. With everything going on right now theyve had to go delivery only and theyre still kicking butt! Ordered from them last week and the system was streamlined perfectly.   They confirm your order, let you know when its leaving, and call you when theyre close. Plus deliveries free if you order $100 minimum. Right now its next day delivery but my order was out the door and at my house by 10:30 the next morning. Their prices are the best in town, they always have deals, there are no gimmicks, their location in Henderson is centralized, and they always have the best attitudes. I miss seeing yall! Stay safe!!My only complaint is their product caused me to eat a 2 pound bag of snickers and twix and feel like I did when I was 10 on Halloween!!

I ordered curbside around 9 and my order was ready i got off work at 10 30 because it said takes an hour for order to be ready once i arrived at essence  and i got to the front first time doing curbside and the guy in the front scanned my id and gave me directions to go to the back once i got in line for curbside 2 cars ahead of me at 1045pm took 15 min in line when i got to the front it was11pm and they couldn't get my order because it got automatically cancelled i was there the whole time pretty upset because i come to essence all the time and this time i was pretty disappointed:/

I was very surprised with my visit here! From the start, they are so welcoming when you walk in. The inside was very chill and relaxing, everyone seemed happy to be there. We then waited in line for a few minutes but someone was there to inquire about our needs and make recommendations. He was very friendly and then sent us to the medical counter. The woman who helped us was incredible, she made great recommendations as well. I didn't catch her name but she was very knowledgeable and patient. I've had bad experiences in the past and wanted something specific and she found it for me!  They had a good deal going on when we went. Just know that it's cash only before you go! Visitor or local, you'll enjoy this place!

If you want to wait out in your car in a 95 degree Las Vegas weather go ahead and do the curbside pick up. Waited what it feels like forever just to pick up my order online. There were more than 20-30 cars behind me and at the very front where they confirm and bring out your order, they were only using 2-3 parking spots so it takes forever to get your order processed when it's supposed to be " ready". The staff were very nice though and friendly and I know it wasn't their fault but there were 5 staff members that were standing there when they could do is have those 5 people process the pick up orders then we wouldn't probably waited longer. I used to love this dispensary but this is the second time I got frustrated with them. This has to be the management, whoever set up this curbside.. cmon' you guys.. you could do better than that. It may work for ya'll but not to your customers.

Me and my wife have definitely found our new dispensary! This place is absolutely fantastic! The products are priced very well. The flower is out of this world! Especially Desert Grown Farms!! All of their flower is straight fire! They have a very good selection of everything from concentrates to edibles as well. But the service is also amazing. Everyone there is always super friendly and it is very organized. They really appreciate your business, and that means a lot to us! We totally recommend this dispensary to anyone!

Mixed reviews about the place, been coming here since  I moved to the area in February. Veteran discount is awesome when it's consistent, but I didn't appreciate today hearing one of the sales associates pushing a client who is a veteran to request a higher claim so his discount is higher. But the main thing is about today's Who in their right mind thinks it's appropriate to shout at the top of their lungs for some birthday shoutout while you are supposedly suppose to provide a kind of peaceful environment. I am an OEF veteran and anxiety is always on high, take it into consideration next time, I feel bad for the girl helping me out I said "Jesus fuck" so many g'damn times I think she started repenting for me. I would have to say unpleasant experiences outweigh the good though, hopefully things change, good luck. Update 22sept19Went in last night because they are the best price in town with the most variety and besides the dude that caused the OP the customer service is on point. Cristina is always a huge help and the dude with the grindcore band are employees that save the overall experience.

My fiancé and I's favorite dispensary! They have a very helpful and friendly staff, and always have an amazing selection of products! I also really enjoy their customer loyalty program due to the fact that I come here at least 3 times a week, and have never had a bad experience. Even when they're super busy, they get the line down fast, but still give the guest time to ask questions and don't make us feel rushed! I also love how many airo pro selections they have to choose from! This is the only one I go to in the Las Vegas / Henderson area.

This location got great employees, good vibes and all. Just one major flaw... this essence location seems to be the slowest from all the locations they got around Vegas. they're always pack every day. Management seem not to care about the customers outside baking in the 100 plus degree weather OR EVEN TRY TO IMPROVE THE PRODUCTIVITY....

Had a few issues but other than the trouble they are good about making it right. Got dry flower they gave me a discount on next purchase. Gave me expired CBD, they replaced it. Always friendly, even when I haven't been to be honest.

Avoid! Terribly understaffed. Call, hold for over an hour, Pre order curbside pick up wait in line almost 2 hours. Can't blame COVID for that nonsense.

Stopped in for the first time today as they were have some Suoer Bowl specials. We were greeted at the check in by one of the friendly staff members and after having them check my ID we were sent to the back.The line for medical patients was marked clearly and were were taken in by a Budtender right away. We already knew what we wanted so it was a short successful trip. It is very nice inside and the product is displayed in cases at the counter along with an electronic board with all products available with pricing.

Y'all gave my lady who suffers extreme anxiety a HUGE anxiety attack. Y'all were rushing her out of the store at 10:50pm, kicked her out of the dispensary whenever she used her phone. WOULD NOT EVEN LET HER PICK HER OWN PRODUCT! Y'all said we close in 5 minutes and gave her some wack a** sh*t and pushed it on her without asking ANY QUESTIONS ontop of that you guys shorted us $5 in change! Worst customer service experience every f'ing time I go in. I will picket line this dispensary tomorrow. Guest Consultant 44734 provided this atrocious experience and I would like a refund of my whole transaction

This used to be a ok place. I went recently and they keep raising the prices it's almost the old street price. That is just ridiculous. I may be spoiled being from Colorado. It's a third of the price, which has me believing these growers are being a bit greedy. It's located conveniently on sunset and it's clean and accessible

I have found the staff inside the store always helpful & knowledgeable.  As a senior citizen l find the website difficult to manage.  Trying to order more than one item is impossible for me!  I also find it hard to understand why each time l order l must fill in all the information again.  Even though l have joined the rewards program.  I think it would be most helpful to have someone familiar with technology and products at the curbside location to help those of us challenged by technology.  Customer service is almost dead these days but it would be so appreciated here!

HAHAHA this is what they call a full gram joint. The lady even claimed it was her," favorite." This place is famous for upselling there trash ass weed. The only reason I go to this place is because it's within walking distance of my apartment. They continue to disappoint every time I go. If you want quick cheap good for nothing weed this is the place to go. They need to step it up. I highly reccomend running as far away from this place as possible. The high is not worth the rip off. Here's an update on that joint once I tried to smoke it

I understand that it's a Pandemic and there are certain precautions they have to take but OMG an hour waiting outside cuz y'all are short staff is a little much for me. Then find out I couldn't go in with my significant other... was told I could stay outside and text or y'all can make separate purchases. That's cool so we go in separately. When I get in I get the most unenthusiastic consultant. She didn't say anything when I walked up to her register. I'm like "I never been here before how does it go?" She says nothing. I'm trying to look at the menu behind her but it's going fast so I ask her "are you knowledgeable because I'm looking for a good hybrid with a higher sative." She basically points to the hybrid and just says the ones they have on the screen. Smh. I look around and all the other bud tenders/ consultants or whatever you want to call them, are being great sells men. Asking "what is it you looking for?" And questions like that... man she just fucked my whole lil experience up... and I really wanted a vape so I ask about them and she points to the case.... truly a piece of work she was.

Been going here for a while, never thought I'd have to leave a review. Place consistently makes you wait an average of 45 min-1.5 hours in line (2.5 hours today in my car waiting in line) for curbside. The bud you get is usually dry. Find a cheaper and better alternative elsewhere. Save your money and your time!

I come here alot. But today I was helped by LaLa and her service was beyond amazing. I have never received the kind of service she provided today! Her attitude, smile, and patience was outstanding. Thank u LaLa!!*updated LaLa's name*Xoxo thanks again Lala for providing such great service.

I cannot really speak to the actual service of this place because I didn't make it beyond the waiting room, but if the enter and exit quickly experience is any indication of how this place is run, I feel this place deserves a decent rating. This location currently only takes medical marijuana cards *sad face*. I came here to check it out as a recreational user and as I approached the door, I had a security guard open the door for me and greet me, which I thought was nice. I approached the front desk and the woman was very friendly. I told her it was my first time there and she asked to see my medical card. Oh noooooos, I'm just here to poke around and maybe buy a joint. No go, folks. Due to some city limit nonsense, this is medical card only for now. The front desk woman was nice enough to give me two snippets of paper with their other location addresses on them, that are selling recreationally at this time.I didn't have time to check the other places out today, but I may in the future. Nice place for those who have their cards and want to purchase a little something something.

The wait time here is ridiculous!!! Regardless if you order ahead of time, you're still waiting an hr to get a preroll. Hire more people! I shouldn't wait 45 for a preroll on curve side pick up.

So, you call up asking for a Banana Cream concentrate. Preferably by Moxie, which online says their dispensaries have. The guy who answers has no idea what I'm asking for, so I repeat it two times. Then he's got to put me on hold. After almost 5 minutes he comes back on to tell me that he's got a "Banana Cush"! I again ask for the Banana Cream concentrate, any brand. "Ah, no we don't have anything like that".Thanks for wasting my time! Get people to answer your phone that know what the hell they're doing and what products you sell!

I have tried to purchase the special deals that they have once in a while, the store will send out a text message in regards to the special, I will respond with in five mins. I go done there finish purchasing the item and they are sold out again!!!!  This can't happen every time I that a special deal is sent out to the people on their list. I think it is just a BAIT & SWITCH at this point. They just want you to pay three times as much as you would have for the special deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The front desk staff are always friendly and professional. The security personnel are on point and as well as friendly and courteous to customers and patients as they enter and leave.  The budtenders (cashier and consultants) are fun and very nice to deal with and if they do not know how to answer my questions or unclear of a suggestion they have always asked another or supervisor for assistance. Never have had a bad experience here they do not try to over sell you on the top shelf items. My only complaint is the hybrid I favor is an extremely fast seller so they do not always have it in stock but I know it isn't their fault it's just how it goes. :)

I come here an average of 4 days a week, sometimes 5. I'm well known, often first in the door.  Everything here is great...customer service like no other. However two things disturb me. The recent changes to 'blends on the specials I'm not feeling it. "Indica blend" etc..whats that about? And to no longer even HAVE specials up on the board? Good thing I'm patient AND I ask questions. But if it ain't broke dont fix it. I shouldn't have to be MADE to buy a certain type where are my choices? You have the best budtenders. Friendliest people.  To go and ruin a good thing is really too bad.

The only dispensary in town that takes customer service seriously! I always get stellar service inside. The bud tenders are always knowledgeable. I know I can go inside and ask for a specific terpene and genetic. They will give me exactly what im looking for!

My husband goes here multiple times a week and today marks the day that's ended. I waited well over an hour in line before I was finally helped. Once I made it to the front of the line I realized I didn't remember to stop and take cash out. They refused to take my card and told me to park out front and wait in line again. I offered the girl 5 dollars cash I had in my wallet as a tip to take my card inside. She began to tell me that I "insulted" her. I feel insulted that this girl found it necessary to give me a loud, sassy remark after I waited over an hour for her to tell me to get back in another line. If she truly felt that way, seek out your manager. I've worked in the service industry long enough to know how a paying customer should be treated. I understand that rules are rules, I wouldn't be writing this if I were upset about just the card issue but her attitude was unacceptable. I left without my order and found a better dispenser in Henderson with polite service and no wait time. Overall Essence provides rude customer service and extremely long wait times. Look elsewhere.

Essence has quickly become my favorite dispensary in the Las Vegas Valley. Not only is the location easily accessible, their hours are awesome, and their staff fantastic. Best of all, their prices tend to be much better than what I have found anywhere else. On top of the already low prices, locals get 10% off and there often are additional specials running.The selection of flower at Essence always seems to be on point, and they have a nice offering of edibles, tinctures, concentrates, and vapes. I also have found the pre-rolls at Essence to be much better quality/freshness than available from other dispensaries around the city.I HIGHLY recommend Essence Henderson for all of your cannabis needs :)

Absolutely my favorite dispensary OF ALL TIME! Staff has the most incredible knowledge base, and a wide range of experience. I always leave feeling listened to and well taken care of. Most recently, while picking up an internet order, Heather (AMAZING), took lots of extra time with us to review and recommend options for my wife and me, thoroughly explaining everything!After we left, I discovered that I needed a different smoking accessory for one of the items I purchased and would have to return. Now, I must preface this by saying I returned IN A MOOD, and was not pleasant to deal with. I could not believe how AWESOME the staff was! Between J.Lo and Chris, I was calmly reassured, handled with TLC, and out the door with everything I needed in minutes! Every single person I came in contact with apologized about the inconvenience. And, though it was ABSOLUTELY NOT anyone's fault that I had to come back, the staff did some quick research to determine how and why I left without knowing I needed an additional accessory, and when I adamantly stated it was not the fault of any staff member, they reassured me that they are always watching for ways to improve the customer experience. I watched as a quick meeting established that they would now be more carefully reviewing internet orders prior to checkout. Just like that. No excuses, no blame shifting, just how can we make it better next time. I am absolutely blown away at the customer service and efficiency here. Every. Single. Time. Oh, and, J.Lo and Chris, it was totally worth it guys! Thank you for your help!!

GREAT PLACE! GREAT PEOPLE! GREAT PRODUCT! I would especially like to commend Chris H. (Hawaiian guy). I alwasy feel better selecting product from him. I am not a big spender but he always takes a long time to find just what I need based on what is available right then.

I searched all over the city and this location is the only one that sells Trokies anymore. My new favorite dispensary! Also, Michael was extremely helpful and informative today when I stopped in.

I drive out of my way to go to this dispensary for their low price points and their specials on flower. Chelsea is always friendly and helpful!

No. I will not give any credit to your rude and uninformed staff. They do not understand or follow the city ordinance accordingly. I was a biweekly customer for 3 years. I will not return, I will not recommend friends and your security man was a bully. And low inventory, overpriced and unprofessional.

Terrible at communicating loyalty program changes with their customers. Plus long wait times in the store, curbside pickup or just trying to get ahold of someone on the phone. I've been going here just because it's right around the corner from my apartment and just keep having issues. I think it's time to find me a new dispensary. Plus I've been on hold trying to get ahold of someone for an hour

Staff is always nice here. It can get pretty packed so I recommend online ordering. I've never met some one rude or not look like they aren't enjoying their job. Thank you for never making me feel rushed!

This is by far the slowest dispensary in Henderson. You'll wait in like for almost an hour every time you go. Even if you place an online order. They only help 2 cars at a time. If you're on a hurry avoid this place at all cost

The mistake was corrected accordingly, the service was much better. I'd still recommend weighing your purchase.

I loveddddd this place SO MUCH, until they were super rude to me. It's about to be winter, I made an online order, and they made me wait OUTSIDE until my order was ready. Which I was texted would be a 30 minute wait. Smh. So disappointed. I love their selection. I love coming here. I love the budtenders. But my experience today was ruined. I'm so disappointed in their customer service. I'll still come here occasionally, but to be made to wait outside when there's plenty of open space inside, even in the front, is pretty rude. Don't be dicks, essence.

Super easy to place an order for curbside pick up and pick out what you want online. Staff is always on point and they are out in the heat working curbside, don't forget to tip during these times, these guys definitely deserve it! Mac is always awesome and super friendly, always joking around, yet super helpful! 5 stars fasho !!

Superior Dispensary. I never get tired of how friendly dispensaries are and how much fun everyone seems to have there. Sorry, Disney, dispensaries are actually the happiest places on earth (although if Disney sold pot.... #ChernobylPrize...)But THIS dispensary was probably one of the nicest I've ever been to. Let's start at the beginning. Tons of parking as it's in a sort of strip mall, but even when parked I realized it was a busy lot and that most people were heading towards the dispensary. That seemed like a good sign, but also I didn't want to get stuck in a line. And since I'm a savvy mf, I guarded against that possibility by ordering ahead on yelp / the website.  It was actually pretty simple. You need to register and take a picture of your ID but it was a fast process. Maybe 10 minutes. You enter into your typical small-sized entry area, room before the room. Although cleaner and more high tech than most. Many *good* dispensaries will still make you feel like you are doing some shady shit - with their buzzers, ID checks, and probably bullet proof glass. Essence feels nice and light, it's pretty open and there were 3 people so no lines at that stage. Behind them were screens showing the various strains and prices. The process was a lot more like buying movie tickets and a lot less like trying to buy cigarettes at 2 am at a gas station in the ghetto. Friendly and informative staff. I asked if they had an ATM as I didn't see one in that first area, and they told me that they did once you were inside. And they let me know that if I ordered ahead I could skip the main line inside and head over to the Medical line, which is much shorter. All good news!The door was opened for me. Inside there didn't seem to be a lot of people waiting but it did seem pretty busy. I veered off to the near-empty medical marijuana line and played on my phone while I waited, maybe 5 minutes. On the recreational side it seemed people were mostly standing, on the medical side, there was a chair waiting for me. Felt kinda VIP, but looking back on it I realize that was probably just because older or more ... sickly people have marijuana cards. And that's why there are chairs. And that's the general impression you get throughout the process. That this a medical drug. Leigh helped me and she was just as sweet as she could be and seemed very knowledgeable. She even gave me the recipe for this homemade Canna Wine that you can make using their Baker's Batch (shake) for $100/ounce. It was just an overall great experience. She was able to upsell me some edibles as I had ordered all the flowers. I mentioned I liked Cheeba Chews, Sativa and she came back with three and I bought them all. Before I left Leigh let me know that I could leave a review on yelp and be entered to win a raffle for a free ounce. And as that sounded like a damned fine offer, here I am. Thanks for a great pot buying experience, essence. I realize that writing a super long and detailed review does not sway the chances in my favor AT all. *wink*  But really, it was a good experience, and obviously pot's the best, so what's not to love. 5 stars.

I was in here the other day with friend of mine who's a medical customer.  The nature of his condition means that he sometimes becomes faint and nauseated.  He had an episode of both while at Essence, and the staff was fantastic.  He became visibly shaky on his feet while standing in line, and the staff was on the spot to help him faster than I was.  When he was finished with his purchase, I left him in the store to pull the car around front.  I came back to find an employee (whose name tag said Vincenzo, if I recall correctly) helping him to remain steady on his feet.  When nausea overcame him and he vomited on their sidewalk, they remained professional and extremely supportive.While I don't use their product, I can say with confidence that if I did, I wouldn't shop for it anywhere else.  Their customer service is fantastic, and they seem to really care about the people and the community they serve.

Even when there are long lines it goes by fast. Everyone is always so nice and chill. I don't know a lot about marijuana so when I do buy I always ask for their suggestions on what to get and they're always super helpful.

Just went and Lexie gave the BEST customer service!! Super sweet and very knowledgeable. Already a regular customer but I love coming to this specific location because of the environment and people like her make is special. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Always my go to spot :)

Cannot believe I drive 8 miles to a place I've dropped over 4K tjhs past year. Sent me a text that said Headcheese $120 half. great price. I go there, they basically tell me they have no idea what i'm talking about. Did not have my phone, so no trust whatsoever.WTF, I made it UP??  lost a  real good customer who spends thousands for $60. Morons.used to be great now it;s all about the bux. never go back.

As many times as I've been here, I've never left dissatisfied. Well once but only with one associate who no longer works there. But everyone else is a joy. I'd love to name them all, but this shout out specifically is for Shawn. He helped me the other night and was just delightful. Rather glad he was my bud tender. Hes got great customer service, polite, caring, and even personable if you are as well. Very knowledgeable as well. Be glad to see him among the other faces that do wonders as well.  Disregard the line if it's long, all that means is that its busy. Essence is popular and has many locations. Long lines should be expected when visiting a big chain. Now when they keep that flow and keep that line down its perfection. Keep up the great work guys!! And Shawn, keep that positivity!!!!

This dispensary is kind of always low on product. You have very little variety to choose from because they just sell out so quickly. So, on my last trip there, I was super bummed to only have a few choices and none of them were what I was looking for. Jarred was super helpful in actually helping me find my new favorite strains, though. I got there a little bummed that there was nothing to choose from, but left super happy w my new options, because Jarred really took the time to find the perfect things for me! Thank you!!

Save yourself a hard time and money and go somewhere else ! They are was crazy on they're pricing and are ALWAYS slow. Service was terrible! Also my orders have been wrong multiple times and they refuse to take responsibility . I have spent enough money at dispensaries to know which ones to stay away from and Essence is one of them ! Go down the street to top notch and get better stuff for a better price! Thank me later

Heather was very friendly, helpful and quick. She really went out of her way to make our night. We usually buy across town but happened to be visiting friends and needed a close by to them and we are glad for it. The preroll we got was awesome and when i mentioned wanting to get a lighter next time she offered us one as a gift for being first time customers. We left happy and everything went incredibly fast considering the line when we walked in.

Tonight was the first time visiting this location and I wasn't disappointed at all! This location has such a good list of products right now compared to the Tropicana location. We had the pleasure of being helped by Matt and we were pretty quick with being in and out with our purchase. I was surprised with how fast our visit went with how much people were in there.  They do offer a locals discount as well, but no first time customer deal.  To get to this location was no issue.  It's in the shopping center literally behind the old Joes Crab Shack building. You can actually make a left at the light before the shopping center and enter the back way if there is a lot of traffic. Overall, I think we may be coming to this location. Hopefully we run into our fave Budtender, Alex! He put us on to a few good products while he was at Tropicana!

I love essence. I think they have great deals and wonderful products. I went in the store last time I bought and noticed while in line that some bud tenders are nicer and more patient than others. I got the one that was not patient or nice which was a bummer after hearing one of the others take his time and was so nice to a customer. I had a short guy that was very inpatient and just wanted me to buy something and move on. The price was wrong on a sale item so he had to get a manager which irritated him. I will always go here for great products. Could you please ask the budtenders to be just a little nicer and more knowledgeable about the products. Thank you for the great products!!!

Excellent experience. We're from out of state and the Cannabis industry here is very different. Emily (Ellie??) was amazingly helpful and super nice. Prices were similar to home. (Washington). Really professional operation. Would highly recommend.

This place is awesome! Staff is greaT. Products are top notch. All the employees are knowledgeable, especially Christina, aka "Tina," the one with the kick a$$ smile :)  She was very patient with me, she's extremely smart, and resourceful, she answered all my questions and explained everything to me in a way I'd understand. I'm a local & been to plenty of dispos & this one was like a hole in the wall yet a PHENOMENAL place.. was serviced by a gentleman named Edgar & he took care of me like a boss. Went in looking for some flower nothing specific & left with a quarter of Kush Mtns & was not disappointed in the strain & service. Ofc the lines were long but that's how every dispo is that i've been to! Great area & great service will be back again

This is one of my favorite dispensaries because the staff is very knowledgable, they have inventory, and their pricing is reasonable. I've gotten a lot of great advice from the budtenders about medical products and have found things here that other dispensaries don't sell. And it's across the street from Trader Joe's.

The finest cannabis dispensary in southern Nevada hands down!! Friendly informative staff that's never too busy to answer any question. Great selection, and I'm always greeted with a smile and 100 fist bumps while I'm there! Just go! You won't regret it! Okay, peace out!!

This is by far the nicest dispensary I have been to in Vegas and Henderson! Cool clean nice people who don't treat middle age folks like pariahs.

Dry & Double the price of any other regular dispensary, the security guards are extremely rude , their managers are very rude people as well. I tried to get a simple problem resolved & the lady working evening shift as manager (prolly for a reason) Told me she didn't have time for me. I've spent thousands of dollars here I will never come back

Love this place ! Great bud tenders and 25 dollar 8ths ! This place rocks ! I've been to many dispensaries around town. This place is consistent.

I love this place!!!! Every single person that we have an interaction with, is super friendly and knowledgeable!  For a location off the strip, (approx 15 min away) the prices and product are great. They have a huge selection of flower, pre-rolls, wax, topicals, and edibles. It's usually pretty busy but the lines go thru quickly. They do offer texting in your order and online ordering and some locations even deliver.

Placed a order online and corrected my order TWICE online and after they called me. I still get a phone call from the delivery driver stating that she can't deliver my order since they didn't correct it and that it's already out!!!!!! She then tells me to drive down there...whyyyy would I do that when I ordered delivery and am paying a delivery fee??? Place is unprofessional, staff is always high and can't seem to get a simple order down I'll be taking my business elsewhere and posting this as I go along. Thanks for nothing Essence and not simply trying to make this right. Keep ur forwarded phone number on ur website, I guess ur that big that u don't care about repeat customers or their experiences luckily there's other DISPENSARIES

Do not come in this dispensary unless you want to wait 1 hour and drive around the whole parking lot. Just to pick up. The system they have in place is messed up big time. I appreciate all the employees working and risking themselves outside. But the management sucks. They don't have any sense of urgency even though they have 30 cars lined up. GO to your local plug instead and they wont ripped you off on the prices!

It was my first time ever visiting a dispensary so I have little to compare to, but I've been a long time on and off smoker. The young lady who helped me was very helpful in making my first experience a pleasant one. Very clean and professional setting. Would definitely come back.

Went into night just to pick up a pre roll. I had a newer budtender, I didn't catch her name :( she had red hair with some blonde pieces in it! She was excellent, really knew what she was talkIng about. Made my experience great!

BEST DISPENSARY IN VEGAS WITHOUT QUESTION. Great location! Great staff- the best! Staff here is kind, cool, and knowledgeable.Great pricing , great discounts , awesome facility . Also last but not least - I forgot to mention the amazing line of products Essence carries. Everything you can imagine at all price points . Vapes, edibles, wax, shatter, sugar, and the best bud I've come across in my 25 years of indulgence . You will not be let down . No dispensary in town can touch these guys .Shouts out to Cristina, Paul, De Sean, Drew, Aj to name a few  a for being outstanding bud tenders. I could go on and on about all the great staff at Essence HENDERSON.Edgar  and Shayla are  members of the Managment team who are just phenomenal and will go out of their way to make your experience a great one.

I love this place !! Huge parking area with a fast service . Knowledgeable staff and so much to choose from . I come here for the specials and they don't gouge you on prices unlike places like The Dispensary on Gibson road . Spend your money here !!!

Better off going to THE DISPENSARY on Gibson. Their website said they give you up to a 30 percent discount if you are a disabled veteran and that's not the case I'm a 100 percent disabled veteran and they gave me the normal discount. When you go inside they have 0 strands on display so you have to look at a board with their description to choose. All of their buds are popcorn shaky and mediocre. I hated the fact I couldn't look at all the different strands to choose which one I wanted. They need to fix that ASAP. I will never be returning!

My wife and I got service or lack there of from a real Bi+@# named Nijah. Black lady with jacked up hair.  My best guess at how to spell her name. She was extremely rude to us, not knowledgeable and very unprofessional. There have been a few rude and not very pleasant emplyees behind the counter here at this location. Dont waste your money here, buisnesses need to learn that customer serice is key to Happy customers. My wife was a regular there until today.  We have decided not to come back and spend our money elsewhere.

Not sure if the people tending the place are stoned or not but it surely seemed that way. They have absolutely no knowledge of what their strains do or what a patient needs. They acted like a typical drug dealer from the corner . I recommend Blum because they have real knowledge much like a pharmacist does. The guy who took care of me seemed eager to get rid of me. Not much information at all.. kept saying Yepm or something to the sort when ever I said something. Dispensaries need to educate people about what varied strains do so they can get the most benefit for what ails them. This store was low quality, expensive, limited inventory for medical patients, and ignorant staff.

Literally every time I come to the Henderson location everyone is in a great mood! Today I was helped by Candace who is a total rock star! She went above and beyond with kindness and information.

My bud tender Ms Chaffee (at least it says on the receipt) was a riot :) I'm still laughing (albeit currently high) that she told me her ex had the same name as me (and my name is like 1/200 million). Extra points :PBest prices here IMO. For some reason most of their weed smells of lemon lol or maybe it's me preference in sativas. Line is fast all is good!

Its just ok. Nice people, fair prices. The sale system is good with the $25 1/8ths but you never know when there is a sale. No text messages like other dispensaries. The call list is cool but dont rely on it. And you need to ask like 8 times to be actually put on the list.The bud is decent but very tiring seeing the same old strains over and over. None of them really wow me except for ghost train haze which they never have in stock. But theres nothing here that is trash either. Just decent stuff. No credit cards like most places either but you can hit their atm for $4. And be prepared to rip 20 stickers off your jars before smoking. Overall worth a stop, but not a go-to place

I love everything about this place, great deals and great customer service, sometimes too much customer service. Theres no reason I should come into the shop when there is a huge line and watch one of your workers named "Kelly" chit chat with someone for not only the entire time im in the line, but I got my stuff and was walking out and looked over AND HE WAS STILL TALKING TO THEM!!! Ive been helped by kelly before and it almost felt like I had to almost tell the guy "yo man I just wanna go home" not saying I dont enjoy his conversation and I understand that customer service is important but when you have not only myself but multiple people in the line muttering under their breath "omg common" I think theres something to look into. Maybe say "hey when there isnt a line or when its not busy, chit chat all you want but when theres a line people want to come in and out as fast as possible so keep chit chat to a minimum, while still providing great customer service! This is my favorite location to purchase cannabis in the valley. The product is always veey well presented and the staff knows about what they have in stock.  I am never disappointed in the choices they offer. The reward program is a great bonus that gives incentive to spend more $ for more rewards. Awesome place.

Hands down this is the best club in Henderson. Customer service is always on point. The quality is always top notch. I rarely have to wait in line and the budtenders always know exactly what I am in need of. Special shout out to my sister Alissa and our brothers Brandon and Tony you all rock! This dispenser is flat out awful! The product is overpriced and you have to pick you purchase from a computer screen. I like to see and smell what I'm buying.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Line was long but quick. Great selection and prices were lower than  at another dispensary in the same area. The area is suspicious so if you are planning on going at night be alert.  Will definitely be coming back to this spot on our next trip to Vegas!

Worse dispensary experience ever. They show deals online but in person the bud tenders play dumb and have no idea what you are showing them or talking about. Very expensive too. The guy told me the cartridges were $36 each and if you buy 2 then you get one for a penny, but at the end it was $110? I don't know what kind of math system they are using. And this was after telling him several times what I was looking for. It was my first time there and I won't be going back.

Went to Essence Henderson a few weeks ago and consulted with Leigh on which products would be best for my needs. She answered all my questions and helped me find some amazing products!! This is by far my favorite dispensary! The bud tenders are all very knowledgeable and NEVER make you feel rushed. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Best shop ever. Their pickup online option is the best, in and out in minutes! Staff is super nice and always remember me and i feel like they wana b there not have have to be. Absolutely great place! Some of the highest quality for the best prices in town! I had Malu and she was an absolute delight! Helped me with understanding the deals and offering the products she felt would best suit my needs. The pineapple mango cannapunch is an absolute must try, super fast acting and DELICIOUS! Can't wait to go back to Essence!

The security guards are total a-holes and demanded that I hang up my phone when I got a call from a sick relative. I was only on the phone for 15 seconds trying to say goodbye and it seemed like they were almost ready to physically take the phone out of my hand... that would have been funny if they would have tried. Also the employees need to be way more knowledgeable of the product they're selling. The only reason I go there is because it's close and my dog needs his CBD oil but one more cocky attitude from the security guards and that'll be it. Dispensaries are a dime-a-dozen now and considering they are violating federal law I'm surprised they're so cocky with the phone policy. Get over yourself.

Yes! yes! yes! I got so tired of the pain in my back and the anxiety everyday that I thought I would try cannabis. Best decision ever!! Leigh was amazing and really helped a lot! She explained things to me and took the time to answer all of my questions. I can't seem to get over how everyone leaving has a smile on their face. :)

All my friends and I love essence!! Every time has been a great experience. The people that work here are super friendly and helpful. Sometimes the lines are super long, especially when they are offering one of their great deals.. but sometimes they will give a free pre roll for the wait :) shoutout to Aj who helped us out a lot last time.

Happy to always go to what I call "home" you can try all the rest or just be happy with the best. They have accommodated all the patients needs in more ways than one. They do a great job of offering wide range quality and offering great discounts. Essence is home!

For the first time in my life, I visited a marijuana dispensary.  I am however not a user and was just there because my friend needed some marijuana.  This review is a strict customer service review and not a review on the product they sell.The front desk was very on point and handled their job very efficiently.However upon entering, we have a differ t story.I wish I could remember the name of this slim young woman I got on this Sunday afternoon.  Because she had no clue what was going on.  As someone that's in customer service, this is up there as pretty bad.This particular female was trying to tell us the specials and she even began to confuse herself.The sales pitch was basically the more you buy the more you save. But because she could compute simple math. She began to use the register as her calculator. Which only confused everyone.  Either she was new or is using the product that they sell.However the young African American male working next to her with the red dreds seemed to be on point with everything.Shoutouts to him and the front desk. For that reason they get two stars.

Ok so I gave them not such I great review because of some issues I had, however if people try to fix the problem I will update my review. I don't give just bad reviews. I'm updating my review with a higher rating because over the last couple months they have at least helped me get my issues resolved. I don't feel that they have been 5 start in doing so. I do feel like after a bunch of hassle they did find the problem and did something to resolve it where I felt I got what I paid for, which is the contract you expect when you purchase anything. However I don't feel they compensated me for ALL my inconvenience. When they admitted to being wrong. Just wouldn't treat my customers that way if I wanted them to stay my customers. But at least it's improved.

I'd have to say of all the dispensaries that I've been to in various States Essence Dispensary in Henderson is one of the best. The bud tenders are very knowledgeable and friendly plus very easy on the eyes. They have amazing specials that they run daily and if you're a local and a veteran I don't know why you're going to any other dispensary but this one you have to stop by this place Rocks!

This dispensary has become my new favorite! I used to be loyal to Blum before it went recreational and the bud became over priced and bad quality. I have visited essence three times before writing this review and I have nothing but positive experiences. The women at the front desk are amazing and super sweet and the bud tenders are knowledgeable. I love essence, and if your looking for top quality bud come here.

Search online or on weed maps and you'll find, they're by far the best priced dispensary!! Go inside and you'll find clean cut, professional individuals. The gentlemen who assisted me on my first visit was so kind and helping and really wanted to make sure I got what I needed.Look around and you'll see and smell some of the cleanest bud and wax on the market!! Easy to see display cases (unlike some dispensaries where everything is hidden) make it easy to window shop and find exactly what you are looking for.Second visit the girl assisting me didn't seem to know anything about anything and took about 15 mins to check me out.. But that doesn't stray me from returning again and again.Best selection of CBD strains in town A++

Every time i come to essence I'm greeted with positive vibes and smiles. Prices are great and quality of product is great. By far my favorite dispensary in Henderson.

UPDATE: Zulema is EXTREMELY helpful! Very customer oriented at this dispensary! I will ALWAYS come to this location, no one else comes close! EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY BUDTENDERS! I've met with a lot of budtenders and these people by far definitely know what customer service is all about. Their flowers are amazing and their promotions are awesome! i definitely recommend!

This WAS my normal spot until my points from my last purchase miraculously disappeared and wasn't applied to my current purchase. Where did my points go? How do I not have a continuous revolving points based on my last purchase? They also have tried to charge me recreational tax instead of my medical tax which is half the rate. Then on top of that when the girl comes out to give me my change she "accidentally" puts my change in the tip box. I was going to tip but that on top of my disappearing points when she noticed her "mistake" she went to fetch me my change and I didn't stop her. I've noticed and felt like they are pinching their pre rolls. The GMO/Champagne brand (I forget what they are called) those look like they have been pinched. And head cheese used to have 2 decent pre rolls now only have 1 a little more decent pre roll. Same batch. Shady employees true colors coming out during this crisis. Something isn't right.

Let me tell you, I don't like dispensaries, but if I had to pick one, it'd have to be Essence Henderson. There's two specific employees that have been very helpful there. Christian was very knowledgeable about what medicine they have in stock and strongly suggested the LEMON AK, which turned out to be exactly how he described it, helping with focus while giving me the energy I need to have during work hours. Then on our return visit, Sharissa (I believe was the name) was also very helpful, suggesting one of the best Indicas I've ever had. Helpful and prompt service, I'll definitely be back.

Stopped in to visit my 1st experience. The staff was very helpful checking in to retail in the back. I never knew how much stuff you can choose from! I got a pre rolled joint and it was amazing! I def will tell my friends of this place

To begin with, the volume (as in decibels) was over the top, and that was before I even entered the actual dispensary.The "budistsa" seemed nice enough, at first, but when I questioned him about CO2 in the vape pen (something he mentioned, and I didn't understand), rather than explain the process of the pen, he dismissed me and said "Well, if you're THAT concerned about it, then maybe it's not for you." I really don't get the tude, because, I was polite and I was there with my friend who had explained that I was, in her words: "a virgin". I wouldn't have purchased the pen anyway, because it was disposable and I think that's environmentally irresponsible... but that's not the point. The point is that I felt the "salesperson" was not at all helpful or friendly.Just an update to the review. I guess management is so used to people using bad experiences to shake them down for product that they assumed I was looking to do the same. I hope that in the future they may attempt to address people's concerns without automatically offering freebies to make problems go away or, more disturbingly, to get a better review.

I truly love this dispensary not only because it's near my house but also because the employees are top notch. Super informative and always happy. My only complaint is the consistency in products. I grew attached to Remedy capsules and they haven't restocked in over 2 months. I found a new favorite in Korova cookies. Also gone. It took a long time to figure out what worked best for me and now with new management I'm starting all over again.

Not what I was expecting, I just drove 1550 miles to get to Vegas, got in a day early so stayed In Henderson. This was the first dispensary that I went to and out of 5 that I compared this was my least favorite, the lady that waited on me just hung out by the register and asked me what I wanted and as I found out later they were one of the most expensive and no discount. My favorite was Blackjack, they were friendly and explained and compared all of my choices they gave me a military discount and I accumulated points and got some free stuff before I left Vegas.

I cannot say enough about this dispensary... the customer service here is exceptional, Paul was incredibly helpful to me, as it was my first time in a dispensary. The staff here appear to be very knowledgeable & professional and I like the lay out of the store. I highly recommend you check it out for yourself!

There are so many great staff members here that always help me find the perfect strain for my good and bad days. The prices are reasonable and the deals make a lot of sense. I walked in after a really bad morning, embarrassingly crying after receiving bad news, and they made sure I had the perfect strain to help me feel better. The only bad part is how the menu is designed and the overall decor of the store.

The staff is beyond any you could ask for, I went in for back pain and knee pain. Everything was so damn professional and when it came to my mother in law who is going through chemo, they were more attentive than her damn doctors and specialist. These people really care and JORDAN was hands down the sweetest and most attentive "bud tender"  I have ever had! She's the sweetest and cares so much about the customers wants and needs!Update : one week later, I used the suggested items by Jordan and they all worked wonders, myMother in law is sleeping through the night again and I am not having as bad of problems with my knees and back anymore, such a wonderful alternative to aspirin and pills, thank you all so much!

This place has been so extremely consistent since the first day I visited. I live to get all my flower from here and I couldn't recommend it more to visitors and locals. This was our first time visiting a dispensary and everyone was super friendly. Malu assisted us and she was beyond AMAZING she was very patient and answered all of our questions and really took the time to explain things to us which we loved! If you've never been to a dispensary I would definitely come check them out they're super friendly and very knowledgeable. Everyone just seems to have a great time with eachother. I'm a very very loyal customer to Essence shops. I'm at the location in Henderson multiple times a week. Though I enjoy flower and dabbing my favorite products are their disposable pens and cartridges. For awhile each pen/cartridge contained a small bubble (head space) in each but recently the bubbles have gotten larger and larger. Most of the time they are very understanding and replace an unsatisfactory purchase but recently not so much. I understand some of their justifications but I'm reluctant to continue to spend up to $52 for a cartridge only to find it partially full. May need to find a new shop.

This dispensary has 100% turned itself around, compared to the last time that I was here most of the issues that I did have when I came in the first time or no longer a problem and I 100% enjoy going this to this dispensary and usually choose it over others

First time in a dispensary here in vegas. The ambience was hospital like. The guys assisting us as not very friendly. I had a bunch of questions and he answered very vaguely. Perhaps he wasn't well educated? I asked the difference between indica and sativa and he told me it's like an how an apple is an apple and is an orange is an orange ??? Then he looked at me like I was an idiot. Will not be returning.

They have so many great selections and if they are out of a product they will call you when they get it in!!!Their bud tenders Zach, De Sean and Justin are really great at providing excellent customer service with a smile!!! We casually strolled down to the shop after we had brunch at the Las Vegas buffet a few doors down while on a Chinese bus tour. This was our first time visiting a cannabis shop so we had no idea what to expect. But everyone at the shop, from the front desk to the counter were super nice and friendly. The young lady who helped us with our purchases was so pleasant and patient. She had the most sincere smile on her face the whole time, which put a big smile on ours.

The wait is always long at any dispensary, and Las Vegas prices are high anywhere so that doesn't dictate my rating, though Essence does have a bigger selection and better deals then other dispensaries I've been too. I had an incredibly knowledgable women named Leigh who helped me find a couple of prerolls and answered any questions I had about the terpine profiles in order to really fit my needs. She was a joy to speak with, I didn't feel rushed at all, and she even went as far as grabbing management (I didn't even think to ask) to ensure my points lost during their point system change were recovered. She really went above and beyond and made it a very personable experience. It's absolutely worth checking out!

So this review is solely based on their recent changes. I am an AVID customer and love essence but their recent changes of trying to do away with eights is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. The recent "blends" are not favorable to anyone I have spoken to either. And then every other jump from eighth to quarter has a slight reduction and the special doesn't. Again this is not a knock to their customer service or sales team because they truly are very respectful and as accommodating as they can be, which is very much appreciated. Please don't do away with the eights and please give us more options instead of "blends".

Best customer service in the Vegas cannabis business! Wow. I went in for the first time today, and it was seriously such great friendly customer service. GREAT selection as well.

This is my go to spot. All the people who work here are friendly and the bud tenders always point me in the direction of some really good flower. The prices are reasonable and they get the medical patients taken care of relatively quickly too. I've referred a bunch of friends and family to this dispensary too specifically because they have quality products.

Buyer beware. They advertise lower prices then charge you more in the store. Don't shop here unless you like to be taken advantage of.

Essence is so clean! I almost feel like I'm in a doctor's office whenever I visit, and I love it. On top of that, the check-in staff are always so friendly and the budtenders are extremely knowledgeable. Prices are comparable to other dispensaries around town. Each dollar you spend here goes towards 1 reward point, and you can redeem these for credits towards future purchases. Present your Nevada ID when checking out, and you receive a 10% discount.

I love Essence Henderson... I've been a patient since it opened for recreational and I have been more than pleased with my experience with then. Most recent jewel came by meeting Leigh at my last 2 visits. She is the most delightful and has a ton of knowledgeable info when it comes to terpenes and the products Essence has to offer. She gave me some great tips for my flower selection and it was a pleasure to sit and chat with her for a few. All the staff at Essence is great, don't get me wrong... you will have a great experience with anyone. However, if you do see Leigh... stop and give her a quick chat. You won't be disappointed!

This location is away from the strip but offers plenty of easy in and out parking, variety of customers and comfortable area to be in. They were very helpful and recommended some awesome stuff if your off the strip stop in and see them you won't be sorry!

I shopped here October 7th. Vanessa was the sweetest, most helpfull person. She is very smart on giving me tons of information on the subject on both my fibromyalgia and what I should take for my pain. Everyone was sweet but she is my favorite. I won't go anywhere else.

Poor communication about what worked with my ecig battery. I purposely brought my ecig battery  into the store and asked if there was anything that would work with it. The lady took my battery and looked it over for awhile. Then she pointed out several cartridges that would work with it. I picked one out and she said the atomizer "worked best" at 3.4 to 4 watts. At this point I had never really seen what was the lowest wattage limit setting on my ecig battery. To this day, I still don't know how high it will go either. Anyway, at the point of sale, nothing was said about going a little over or under on the wattage rating. I have run comparable cartridges up to 10 watts without any problems.I picked one out, bought it and left. I  went home to try it. I adjusted my ecig wattage down it's lowest level which is 5 watts. Then I must have bumped the knob because it did read 6 watts later when I checked. So anyway, I screwed the cartridge onto the battery, took a draw and it worked, giving me a great hit. Then it quit working altogether. I tried it for the third time with no results. I unscrewed the two pieces, cleaned the connections and took two more drags, but nothing changed. I brought it back and the guy in customer service told me that running it at 6 watts burnt the atomizer and that I should run it at 3.4-4 watts. Well the very minimum that my ecig goes is 5 watts. After handing my ecig to the salesperson, I figured she'd recommend something that would work with my ecig battery. Now customer service is telling me that I ran it on too high wattage even though my ecig's minimum setting is supposedly too high even at 5 watts.So, their "salesperson" after looking at my ecig, sold me a cartridge that "customer service" later said, was going to burn up early being run at 5 watts, which is the minimum setting of my ecig battery. So Mr Customer Service, takes the cartridge  behind a door for a bit, then he comes out and he assured me that he had "thoroughly" tested the cartridge and that it "still worked great" even though I had burned it slightly by taking 5 hits at 6 watt setting  So I left and went right to a smoke shop and bought a nice quality, low wattage battery. I got it home and I fully charged it for about 2.5 hours. I set it at 4 watts.I screwed in the cartridge,  took a drag, and I got nothing out of it. Not one bit of visable or tasteable evidence that I had taken a hit. I tried several more times. No improvement.Recall that I had been assured that  "after thorough testing, it still worked great" by customer service guy at Essence. I left and ended up at another dispensary where I purchased one of their cartridges, along with another low wattage battery. The new cartridge works great on the original ecig battery in this story, while running at 7 watts recommended,. The new cartridge also works on both of my 2 new low wattage batteries. Funny thing this new cartridge was rated to work over a wider range of wattage rating, from 3.4 up to 7 watts. I tried the original Essence cartridge on my newest low wattage ebattery and it still doesn't work. So it would appear that other dispensaries sell cartridges that are able to tolerate a wider array of wattage imputs from 3.4 up to 7. While Essence employees  consider you to be abusing your cartridge's atomizer when running it at anything over 4 watts. I still cannot get anything out of the original cartridge purchased at Essence, I never exposed it to over 6 watts at 5 hits. Mr. Customer Service didn't seem very interested in helping me out in the first place, so why go back to them now? I would in essence, be calling him a liar at the same time I would be seeking relief through him. He is the one who "thoroughly tested" and "assured me" the cartridge was in great working condition, though he never tested it in front of me. It was strange because someone had told me it would be a piece of cake to get it taken care of.So here I am sitting with a $50 cartridge that is full except for that first hit. Great deal...

Manager is an awful human being. After hearing me say "i can't believe this" bc of how they were handling ppl in line, the manager comes out saying how I called one of her employees a c**t which is a complete lie and then proceeds to ban me? Lol wow. Ok so I know intelligence and college degrees are in short supply over there but let me explain how little these ppl actually know about weed. Back when this place opened, they were gullable enough to buy flower w terp profiles that were so off the charts that anyone that knew anything knew it wasn't right so they had me go w Madison down to digilabs to help them figure out wtf. But yea I went from helping them like that to calling someone I don't know a name like that lol. It's so dumb I don't even know what else to say. As u may be able to tell, I am in the industry and am part of multiple other industries that essence deals w. And I'll be sure to let everyone know how I was treated. 1 bad review goes farther than 10 good ones right? Let's find out.

With rec just hitting it's so nice to know I can still count on Essence Henderson for the best products & customer service. Make sure you ask for Kelly or Jessie they are both super knowledgeable about cannabis. Not just what gets you high, but what truly helps you medically. If price isn't an option Essence has the best selection. I love their wide array of CBD products. Plus, they have my favorite prerolls always in stock at this location!!!

This was my first and only dispensary not because the "great prices", because let's face it they are ridiculously high, but because I'm a loyal customer and consumer.  I have never had a problem other than long lines, bad music, and maybe an undereducated bud tender once in a while until today.  First the security guard in the tiny front room sneezed all over me because of course he didn't cover his mouth.  I should have trusted my gut and left then but I went in anyway because like I said I'm a loyal customer.  After about 5 mins in this insanely long line I pull out my ear buds to listen to music while I wait 20 mins to get seen.  Then this big bald Mr. Clean looking guard tells me I can't use my phone.  Which is the first time I've heard this since I started coming here'll for ago.  I said you mean I can't listen to music while I wait in this crazy line and all he said was "no phone policy."  So after realizing I've had enough of mistreatment by security guards, and don't want to wait 20-30 mins just to be seen, I left from the back of the line and went for the exit to take my business elsewhere.  After a few steps out the door I hear footsteps and the same bald security guard calling me. I turned around thinking maybe he is going to apologize but no he said "do me a favor and never come back."  So instead of just letting it be he felt the need to chase me outside and tell me to never come back.  Well your wish I my command top flight security of the world I will NEVER come back to any Essence location, and neither will my friends and family or their friends and family.  Loyalty has its limits and an unprofessional security staff just lost you a lot of loyal customers.  Based on all the other terrible reviews I just read I'm not the only one who feels this way.  Since this guard felt the need to chase me down out front and publicly tell me to never come back I felt the need to do a review on yelp and every other form of social media I possibly can to let the people know how Essence treats their most loyal customers.

Perfect dispensary. I came after getting all my Bud nabbed by the TSA....fuckers. But the staff at essence made it painless to re up for my weekend get away. I hate pre rolls but the ones I purchased were actually great. And the bud tenders diddnt act like they were doctors which is great. Can't stand a bud tender that tells me what I need. Essence was a very pleasant inviting store and I'll be returning next summer.

Excellent staff all around! I was so impressed with how helpful everyone was! Chris is who helped me today. He was so patient and knowledgeable. He really listened to me and was honest about what will work for my mother-in-laws pain. He even gave me recommendations for future purchases for after her surgery coming up. Wrote them down and everything for me. First time to a club, I will absolutely be back soon! I went in as a recreational user, I was in so quickly! If you're medical, they have shorter, multiple lines in the actual shop. Neither line was long though.They also have a pick up counter for when you call it in ahead of time! Go see Sorayda she knows her shit. Best quality bud. I have smoked and grown top flower from Europe she always finds me the top top stuff.

Not as nice as other dispensaries i've been to in vegas but they got the ghost train haze. If you are a sativa fan, this bud is everything! Line can be a little long but it moves relatively quick and the cashiers are very nice. No credit cards, but there is an atm.

This was our first time to visit, my husband was very reluctant not a great believer. DeShawn helped us walked us through the procedure and products that he suggested worked very well. We are so appreciative to all the staff everyone was very kind and helpful. Thank you very much you've made a great difference in how my husband feels absolutely no pain today.

Used to be a great spot with friendly, informed bud tenders but went there today and they asked for my ID twice, told me I couldn't use my phone (?) and prices were extremely high...whole atmosphere was just off...,right from the people who checked me in to the bud tenders. I think they went corporate and only care about bottom line. Employees seem stressed and unhappy. I understand it's a business, but it come on..lots of competition and would rather spend my money in an affordable, friendly dispensary. I don't think I'll be back and I'm a pretty good customer.

Nice clean place. Very informed and friendly staff. Somewhat slow as far as service goes but then again there's always a line so it's completely understandable. L'Orange is by far my favorite and is well worth the 5  review as well as the wait! They have a lot of variety and a lot of premium strains with really excellent terpene profiles

I went to Essence about a month ago and talked with the nurse about some of my medical concerns.  She hooked me up with some good products and was so kind and knowledgeable.  I just remembered I didn't do a review yet because she just called me back yesterday to check in with me.  OMG!  She is fantastic.  I've left her a message because I have some additional medical concerns come up with I wanted to run by her.  The nurse I worked with is the best.  (I misplaced her card, so I don't have her name)  Is it Brandy?  Anyway, my experiences was the best!  (and I'm sorry for my delayed review)!!!!!

Essence is hands down best dispensary in the Vegas area. Managers are so helpful and treat everyone great and know customers on a first name basis! LOVE IT!

I don't care for the set-up of this place. It makes you feel rushed. You have to wait in line to get to a budtender but because there is a long line behind you, it's uncomfortable to want to take your time and ask question or get suggestions. The budtenders are more like used car salesmen. I wanted an item the is listed as $32, the budtender made a suggestion for an item (about the same price) but rang it up and it was almost double. I will stick to my tried and true spot.

I just wanted to update and say that these guys did come back and take care of me and try to make it right! So if you have an issue with them let them know and it seems like they will try to make the situation better.

Nice clean store but they misrepresented the product. The salesperson sold an 8th disposable vape and represented it as a half. Seriously overpriced for only an 8th. Can get a full gram in Cali for half what they charged for the 8th. They are completely taking advantage of the tourists in Vegas. Went to complain at the Strip location and that store was small and completely disorganized.  Different people told you different things. They also let a ton of people in at once so the store was packed. Next visit to Vegas will go to a different place. Don't waste your money here.

Recent experience......DRY FLOWER from "The Facility".  Practically turned to ash as soon as I touched it.  Smoked very quickly due to dryness.  Unhappy purchase.  Have not been back since.

Always a great experience. Shawn is especially friendly and helpful. This is my go-to dispensary. From the front door to the exit - everyone is friendly, calm, and helpful.

I feel this dispensary has good quality flower and good prices. The reason why im giving this location two stars is due to my experience with nurse jenn. I had general questions about drug interactions. Overall she was not a welcoming nurse. Her whole demeanor is completely unwelcoming and i felt very uncomfortable talking about my private medication history sitting right next to a paying customer. I felt that she did not want to be discreet in any way whatsoever and she seemed to be talking very loudly. She had no information for me other then to completely frighten me about the medications im currently taking. Absolutely awful experience. Stay far away from nurse jenn. Talk to someone else.

Essence is the best dispensary in Henderson! It has terrific variety and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and cool. The location is also clean and tidy, making the experience of selecting medicine easy and enjoyable. My only gripe is that they were all out of their tincture when I went to visit, but those are the ropes I guess. They said they would call me when more came in and that never happened...but that won't stop e from going back!Great specials too. I highly recommend this place.

Extremely friendly staff, even the security guard, and super helpful. One of the most pleasant dispensary experiences I've had.

I don't know what happened, we first visited the strip location when it opened and loved it. We live in Henderson so we started going to the location on Sunset, first few times were great. The last couple times have been ridiculous. Employees are nice but product is going down hill. This is the second time we have bought a quarter from them and there we many seeds in our flower. Prices were raised and they don't always have a full selection anymore. And don't get me wrong, we all appreciate free stuff, I had a friend win a contest with them and when she picked it up, it was wayyy less flower than what she was told it was going to be. Again, no complaints on  that cause well it was free, but don't say one thing and then do another. All in all its an alright shop but probably wont be visiting it much anymore, need to step the quality back up.

I've visited other dispensaries in Las Vegas and the bud tenders aren't nearly as friendly and/or knowledgeable as the ones here. I can always get a good deal through Essence and have never had flower I wasn't 100% happy with. I only come to Essence and will continue to be a loyal patient. Thanks for being awesome!

James hooked us up with White Nightmare by body and mind,super stoked to try it out. I love the hendo location mainly for the staff and the pretty decently priced bud. The prerolls are always a great investment. Now we just need to go back and get that moonrock joint

Essensce.. Is the first choice of medical marijuana for me. Its convient, and they have thee most welcoming staff to ease the transition and experience.. I'm from out of state and stopped by the Henderson location.  I was very impressed with the facility.  The staff was extremely welcoming and very informative!  Definitely will be back!!!

Stopped on impulse to buy our friend and favorite cook Joe a few pre-rolls for a birthday gift. It was Friday about 5:30 PM. They were busy so had to wait in line. Staff friendly but felt it was more about moving us through the process than taking the time to really help identify the best product to meet our needs but some effort was made. One item would not scan at check out and really slowed down the process. 45 minutes to complete transaction after arrival.

I usually purchase my Cannabis from the Essence on Tropicana, so visiting this dispensary was new for me. I bought 2 facility prerolls (WiFi OG & Blueberry) the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

I love the Cannabiotix brand they carry. LOrange and Thin Mint Cookies are my favorite so far! I'll be back soon

So happy I found Essence Sunset!!! The staff has done nothing but succeed all around in customer care and service! I've been to many different dispensaries, every corner of Las Vegas and the staff here has the most knowledge in my opinion and they're always running great specials!! Plus locals get 10% and Industry gets 15% off. I've had a few run-ins with faulty disposables and batteries but it's not their fault they're defective from the manufacturer and every time i've had an issue, they are able to test my equipment in the back and prove it's faulty and they always replace without hesitation. I will forever spend my $$$$ at Essence!

Stopped in today for the CBX concentrate sale. Had some discrepancies on prices and after stating my case with Amelia and the manager Angelica. I was able to walk out a very satisfied customer. Thank you Essence for hiring managers and budtender that take the time to listen your patients/customers and have the ability to make logical decisions.

This is the one of the best dispensary you will find. The one in Henderson is only medical but other locations are recreational . The one in Henderson, let me just say. Every human being there is genuinely amazing. I never went in there and felt any sort of negative energy from any employee. They are so bubbly and so helpful! Not to mention they suggested the best strain for me (triplebodhi). Check them out !!!

My first time at a dispensary! So I don't have anything to compare it to...but wow! Such a cool experience. I spoke with a lady who talked to me about some different products for migraines. I ended up going with the Mary's Medicinal gel pen and some lozenges. Both are awesome! I especially wanted to try Mary's Medicinal because it has been discussed often in the trigeminal neuralgia community for pain relief. It does not disappoint!  Check this place out!

Upon arriving at the Essence Cannabis DispensaryI was greeted warmly, by the receptionists. Once I completed the check in, I was directed to the interior where the various cannabis items were on display.  I was once more greeted by Sonja & Allisa. They were very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating to my needs. I had a very nice experience. Looking forward to shopping there in the future.K.

I called for anxiety today, only to find out they really do not give a shit about the medical patients, they only sell for people who want to be stoned. I needed a strain with high amount of the Terpine Linalool and the lady basically said we are too busy to help you today for medical reasons and if you want something else I recommend something with over 25% thc which would make me sick. This used to be a place that gave a shit, now they want to kill people.

Best in the area for cheerful people, mellow vibe; selection and prices. Fairest (Best discounts for veterans; seniors; locals) prices.

By far my favorite dispensary. Busier now that this location is both med and rec. But I was in a hurry headed to a movie and needed to be in and out within 15 minutes and was able to check in, ask questions and get advice, be rung up, and still be out in time. With 2 minutes to spare. (To note they do prioritize med patients still, which I am.) I call this place my "grocer" of dispensaries. Since rec became legal 07/01/17, I've been to a "big box" that sells half their own brand, and half other brands, but is surprisingly over-priced even though they should be cheapest for the volume of business. And none of their products, except one single high-end preroll, was anything grand. Then there are a couple "boutiques" that specialize in one area or another and mainly sell their own house product. Good stuff, but I have to be in the mood for their particular brand. When I call Essence a "grocery," I mean they aren't making their own baked edibles with nuts and dried fruit, or truffle oil in glass canning jars. No extreme stuff. But they have everything you need, and a million brands and varieties of it. And pricing from cheap to moderate to pricey, it just depends what you are looking for. I also have yet to be steered wrong by an employee's suggestion. These employees aren't blowing smoke just to push a certain house brand or up-sell you. This time around I bought a Rove brand vape pen battery and cartridge. Essence sells a handful of brands of disposable concentrate oil cartridges, like I stated. But when I told the employee that I'm not impressed with a certain one, he took that into account and directed me over to this. I am so glad he did. I'll never look at disposable vapes the same way again. (Try Rove!) Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Oh, and ~5 mins from my house! Less than three radio songs, which is how I count drives often. I'll try their Trop and Strip locations sometime when I'm in the areas. But for now I love Henderson and it's my go-to for 90% of what I'm looking for and need in my Cannabis life.

I stopped in Essence Henderson for the first time this week. Everyone was so nice here. I had the chance to chat with Crystal, one of the managers and I can see why they have such a great staff.

I used to go to the Henderson location, but I haven't been there in about a year and here is why: I'm a senior citizen with a medical card. Essence is or was the only dispensary I had ever been to that didn't offer any kind of discount to seniors, which was okay because it was the closest to my house at the time. The thing that really pissed me off, and the reason why I gave this dispensary one star is I gave them my ID and sat down in the small crowded waiting room. Being the oldest person in the room I felt a little intimidated, so I pulled out a book to read. After about a half hour I noticed that people who came in after me were getting called to come back. I went to the counter and mentioned it and they promised I would be next, of course I wasn't. I complained again and finally they took me back. I don't know why I was skipped, after a half-assed apology, I asked if I could get a discount because I had been waiting in the waiting room much longer than anyone else and was skipped. I was told that they couldn't do that. I purchased a minimal amount and left and have not been back. There are so many dispensaries out there that will give a discount to seniors and now there are some that will even give a discount if you have a medical card. I guess Essence has so many customers they don't care about a sick old lady.

Super unorganized and completely confusing. I stand in line behind the medical sign expecting to be taken care of while 4 recreational chumps go right by me. Why have designated lines for your Medical patients when you don't use them? Even worse leave a Medical patient who happens to be a veteran hanging to sell a pre-roll to a chump. So disappointed with this place!!!

Essence is the best Dispensary in Vegas. I frequent the Henderson location 3 times a week. Helpful staff and great prices. I'll never go anywhere else.

Wow just wow. My wife has her medical card and I always go in with her to help her select her medication. She turns to me and asked me which new one she wanted to try. Right away Madison jumps on us and says "Does he have his medical card?" I say no I do not use anything with THC in it because of work requirements. Well you can't say anything because how do we know it's for her? We are basically whatever. Then I ask "I carry all the money, how much is she supposed to pay for this if I can't even talk. I mean if I can't talk how can I pay?" Honestly the only reason  we went there is because they have a strain that really helps my wife and is not available at our regular dispensary. But, I must say our previous visit with Ali was wonderful. She's great and very helpful, Madison on the other hand should perhaps seek work in a non customer relations position. He is the complete opposite of Ali.

You are assigned a "personal" bud tender if you don't know what you are looking for. Sales person is VERY knowledgeable and if you are a first time customer you get a discount! On top of that, there was a sale going on as well. About two days later they followed up with a phone call to see if everything was ok. That's customer service! The hours are very great and they are open 7 days a week.

This was by far the best recreational dispensary in Las Vegas, great selection and awesome employees! Ricardo helped me and he was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He sent me home with great product that I was very happy with! I hope that every time I come back he is there to help me with my purchase!

I go to this dispensary often often and the girls up front are always super sweet and awesome , I have always liked my budtenders they are very knowledgeable and have good suggestions. The last budtender i had was not very pleasant and was uneducated I felt she misinformed me and didn't answer any of the questions I did have was not happy with my purchase that day.

So don't get me wrong this dispensary is usually great, I just wanted to share my experience. Basically I had called in just minutes before showing up to see if they had a certain strain, and yes they did. Then upon showing up the man that worked there in line told me that the strain was available too. When I get up to the counter the girl there doesn't even stand up to take a look she tells me they are out, and this is the only reason I drove to this dispensary. As I ask what else they have she is of no help at all, starts naming things that aren't anything close to what I was there for. Then proceeds to make me feel stupid, looks at me like I'm wrong, then tells me I am wrong when I was asking a simple question about my account there. No matter if this was a good explaination or not you can see how upset I am. I bought the cheapest thing there and I still feel like I was ripped off because of this girl at the counter. Oh and by the way the weed was BOTTOM BAG no nugs were intact. Not a good representation of your company, I could have done better, and I've applied there twice!

Line was long but moved fast. There was a problem with the product not ringing up. Atmosphere was good but crowded. Staff seemed hurried but Victoria made the best of it. Staff not as knowledgeable as other stores. Product was good.

Essence is the future of medical dispensaries: very professional, friendly, and helpful staff; reasonable prices for high-quality medication; and a very clinical atmosphere. All medication is lab-tested, and the staff are knowledgeable about most, if not all of the products available. I have been twice before and each time the wonderful people there, such as Heather and Crystal, have made me feel like a special guest and patient, as opposed to the atmosphere and service at some other clinics. Since the medication is lab-tested you always know what you're getting, and prices are fair with specials sometimes giving you fantastic prices, although in general everything is a bit more costly than in California.

Love this place, friendly staff up front, knowledgable patient consultants. They always have specials, and flowers have higher percentages than other dispensaries I have been to in the city. They also have pre-rolls and edibles.

This is a real Dispensery finally. The staff is cool,knowledgeable& friendly. So lucky I live close to this shop their strains are great &they have something for everyone...please check it out,you will never need to go anywhere else after your visit to essence! By far the best bang for your cartridge dollar. If you are looking for good sleep, Bud Tender Extraordinaire "LARRY" can educate you of the best products for your condition. He knows the healing science behind his recommendations. These peeps care about customer wellness and satisfaction. My experience with this company is limited to Indica Sleep Carts. Nobody will give you the care and pricing on these carts. When Larry asks who sent you, just say "Fugedaboutit" he will get it. Larry and peeps rock.

I visited this store on the 3rd of December. I'm somewhat knew to the cannabis industry as I recently departed the United States Air Force. Of the handful of dispensaries I've been to over the years I have to say Essence has been my favorite BY FAR. I always get a little nervous when I enter these establishments due to the negative connotation that has come with it over the years. The Essence on Rainbow is my local dispensary I frequent on a regular basis and the customer service is what has kept me coming back since i first visited in early October. The Essence is setup a little bit different in Henderson so I was a bit confused upon entering. Lauren helped me and made me feel at ease as I struggled trying to remember what I purchased before. She told me they were out of the Bruce Banner 2.0 which is what has been my go to as of late. She effortlessly pointed me in the direction of other options and I asked her about any specials and she asked a fellow associate who led her to believe that cartridges were 2 for 40. She went and retrieved the cartridges and I was elated to find out she went ahead and looked for the Bruce Banner even though I had made other options. The cartridges ended up being 2 for 60. I was just going to get one but after Lauren consulted with Sabrina the manager they decided they would honor the 2 for 40 they had initially stated. I wasn't expecting any of that so it was quite a pleasant surprise. All that to say the team at Essence knows what they're doing and I would highly recommend going to them for all your dispensary needs.

I've been buying my weed from the sunset location for a year now and I have no problem with the quality or service. They have Always treated me with dignity and respect. Very Coool people. I would go No place else

They just sold me weed that was grown in May of last year at top shelf prices. The employee offered no help, and I feel she intentionally hid the date to not let me see how old it was. No essence location has ever sold me 8 month old weed before. When calling back they said 8 month old weed isn't a problem and they would provide no help whatsoever. Basically they said, "you're one of the idiots that bought weed almost a year old at the highest price, you get nothing lolz". The natures chemistry glue literally feels and tastes like paper. If you want fresh weed, go anywhere in Las Vegas, but to the Essence in HendersonHopefully essence learns from this and doesn't keep the Henderson location as a non bargain bargain bin for old weed. Or, when they sell complete bs, they'll actually do something to make the product right. One or the other

This location is always so pleasant. Lauren helped me out last time, and she was patient and super helpful and so sweet. The customer before me was super rude, and Lauren managed to take it all in stride and shake it off before I even got to her station. She's absolutely wonderful. All in all, I love this dispensary.

I have been going to essence for a very long time (since it was medical only.) I have seen many faces but there is one face that warmed up the entire place. Andrea was so kind and really listened to me about my needs in the products I was looking for. She helped me by choosing some edibles. 10/10 would recommend. And if you go to essence PLEASE ask for Andrea to help !

I went into this dispensary this Monday it was my first time in there. There was a small little asian Girl her name was Christine at the receptionist. I honestly have never been to one and she is just so polite, and greeted me with so much joy that she made me feel at ease as soon as I walked in. She is so adorable and just such a sunshine that when she checked me in she was able to ask me how I was doing and to ask about specials and that I was going to be taken care of very well. thank you essence for such a great first time experience. I am a retired veteran who is in constant pain and not a lot of people will even take the time to see how I'm doing but I felt so special from walking in to walking out. Please tell her that she is such a pleasure.

The energy in this place is absolutely amazing. LARRY took such great care of me on my first visit which happened to be my Birthday. He was very engaging and even took the time out to give me a birthday shoutout before I left. Will definitely be paying Essence another visit next time I am in town!! 💕

I love this store the stars are for the management and products and deals, the low score is due to lackluster store employees that will write notes on your account and mess with your products. Be aware when at this store some of the employees are unprofessional. Some of the employees are great, then others are very condescending and unhelpful. It makes the store look inconsistent customer service wise when there are indeed a handful of good managers and employees, but depending who is there that day and who you get, and if they came into work angry, you may wind up with bad service. I will say managers atleast do their best to right the wrongs of their employees and the good ones and good workers deserve 5 stars, and the store would be a 5 star store minus a few bad apples
