I have to say.... for being a 420 delivery service here in the fresno area, the Hanford location is bar none the best we have in our area. Prices are fantastic. Sales all the time. Veterans are taken care of with caliva 100%  but this review is more geared towards the employees who work directly at the Hanford location. All of the drivers are amazing and when I've interacted with management it was extremely delightful and pleasant to deal with. Specific names of employees I can think of off of the top of my head [THEY ARE ALL AMAZING]  and I'm sorry if I miss a name! But Miranda and Jeff definitely stand out as providing the best service I've seen..... though there's a major shout out to Ashley A. From driver and beyond she has been PHENOMENAL. 10 out of 10. Always pleasant and courteous. She goes above and beyond to ensure my high is top notch. Her smile brightens up our day and really does make the handoff smooth and efficient. Her upbeat and positive attitude is definitely a trait to have and she's a keeper in my book. If you want anyone to represent your company it's going to be Ashley. She deserves praise for her actions and her ability to go above and beyond!!Thank you Team Hanford!! 10 out of 10 stars if it were an option!

Had an amazing first time but the few times I had came in they hassled me cause if the coupon cards they had provided me and told me I can use. Then when I go to use them they say I can't stack coupons. Even though I spent over 50$ so I got a free joint but they didn't have any so I got a card I used when I came in and spend over 50$ again the male employee said to me that he stacked 3 discounts and I can't get my free joint even though one of the cards was my free joint from last time they never gave me.. so now I spend over 50$ got my owed joint then asked if I can get my free for the purchase I just made and he gave me the biggest hassle I don't think I'll be coming back for quite a long time here thanks but no thanks I like to be treated with respect for using your coupon cards that doesn't say anything on them about stacking so goodbye deli in Hanford

This was my first time going in and I will definitely be coming back mini mini more times I tried the other place across the street and it was OK but the service at Calleva was awesome I didn't feel rushed or pressured to buy the most expensive thing they've got great bud great prices and great service would definitely recommend

I can't stop eating the birthday cookies! Lol I love there's vegan products and fast delivery in my town!

Went into the retail location, front desk is very friendly however the budtender refused to give me the advertised price the sign in front of her said 4 8ths for $40 she kept telling me they were $12.50 each even if I bought 4. I pointed out the sign as did her co-worker and she still told me they would be $12.50 each. It was my first visit and my last. Didn't even make a purchase because that kind of service is just ridiculous.

The first time visiting and right there and then it started !  The positive, welcoming , and enthusiastic attitudes. Truly makes you feel at Home. My questions were answered was educated on new products.  The only thing I regret is not spending more time there. There's a lot to learn about this.  Thank you guys ,  Oh!  Almost for the FREE GOODIES . I LOVE YOU GUYS.

Introductory offer was really nice; Ordered the night before and by 11:30 the next day I had all the goodies. The online store was easy to navigate and checkout was smooth. The delivery driver, David,  was super friendly and able to take payment quickly. Super convenient!

Had a bad experience here. They tried to make it better but still too expensive here. Sorry guys. Even with $30 off my order your still more expensive then Catalyst just down the street. Boo

Nice shop layout. Customer service sSLACKING, so I had to write a Karen ass review. Went in already knowing what I want. Gave the dude a $100 my change was $30 EZ.Normally they give me a receipt but this time they did not..get to my car count my change. He shorted me $10. Go back to the store, instead of a simple I'm sorry here's your correct change I get an excuse. " I thought I grabbed a $20" which I found SUS cause then dude grabs the $10 out his tip jar. Asked to talk to the manager cause the service was trash, gave the receptionist my number for him/her to call me back. Get a call back from the receptionist instead saying 20% off my next visit like NOT the point.  It's the principle of how it was handled, unprofessional which blows my mind since I've worked in the industry for 8 years. SO COUNT YA CHANGE before you leave this shop.

First off there prices are a little high at this location. Second make sure when you are buying a refill  vape cartridges is for for a battery that you own.Bought Stiizy cartridges did not know that I needed a totally different battery from the round.So I had to go back and spend $17 bucks on a f@@king battery. This battery lasted a week and then died.Don't try calling them they don't answer the phone and have to go through some BS on there website.So after eating like 20 minutes online I spoke to a support person and they said just bring it and will replace it. Just showed up and brought the battery and told them the problem they get me a new battery and they say that will be $17 bucks again. The support person never Ed mention that I would need the receipt or I would have looked before wasting my F@@king time coming here again. They could have just replaced the battery which cost about $1.00 to be made in China!!!!!Over priced, bad website support, bad customer service. Go to another collective that truly takes care of the customer !!!!!To the owner the battery decide to breakdown after a week instead of the 3 days. Your staff should tell your customers that this product needs a unique battery to use. If I knew that I would have not bought the cartridge or the battery. Also $17 for a battery is very expensive!!!

This place is so great !!! The workers are so nice and helpful ! I went in today and bought some pre rolls real quick. The guy that helped me was very nice (i believe his name is Zack, long blonde hair) and asked me what kind of dog I had before I left just bc he saw my "Dog Mom" hat. Great place ! Definitely love coming here

First time here and it was a great experience. The inside of Deli by Caliva is super clean and welcoming. This should be the standard for dispensaries so it's not so stigmatized even in this day and age. Definitely coming back!

Brittany is the best!!!!!  My delivery order was running late and Brittany was able to help me out. She explained the reason why my delivery was delayed and help my situation. She was so sweet and understand my frustration and right away she knew how to fit my problem. I was every frustrated  and she able to make my experience better!

Love the fact that everyone was masked up had me feeling all safe and thangs. Since this was my first time here as FTP I was given a 20% discount that was a tremendous plus. "Zack" was my bud tender cool as hell very professional he gave me amazing service and was very efficient and he knows his shit. The staff was so nice! This place is a real asset to the community!! I will be back soon.

Probably the most laid back, professional shop around. Super helpful tenders and good product. Eric has helped me out a few times here and he knows what he talking about. Oh yea....great prices!!!

First time visiting. All of the staff I came in contact with were very polite and helpful. Visited on 4/20, and got some really great deals. Very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The store was very clean and neat, with a kind of candy store vibe. Received a 30% off coupon as a first time customer, which I plan on using when I return again.

First timer here! Buddy referred me to Deli. Looked like a cool experience, something new to check out, a one of a kind joint, with good choices, BUT turned out to be a blah experience with our budtender Zack. Stopped by after 7pm Parked in the lot. No line, sweet! Talked to the security guard was a cool guy and he said it was surprisingly slow for a Saturday. Entered the place and it was like Aaah. Very clean, unique interior design, front desk was kind and friendly and signed me up. Waited just a few minutes and Zack greeted us. Asked what we were looking for and we thought he would give us a walk thru, share his opinion about his favorites, wow us with the new customer experience, Nope! He was kinda being a d*ck, just like this is what we got, cost this much, his attitude was nothing like the Deli experience I thought I was gonna have. I made my selection, even tipped the guy, then started looking around the store at all the cool merchandise. Was interested in buying a tshirt and some other things, and suddenly he says Time to go, I got other customers! WTF? Are u serious? So we bounced. Dude you just lost the chance to increase your sales, you rushed a new customer out of your store, no wow factor, isnt that the main reason why people come here? To get a unique customer experience? If I just wanted some buds Id just go somewhere else with same buds and better prices. Deli missed the mark with this guy. Either he woke up on the wrong side of the bed or he wasnt trained on customer service. Why the rush? Thought they were slow today. This aint no McDs drive thru. Most likely wont be returning.

Well I used to say Deli was my favorite dispensary. So much so that I would drive nearly 5hrs one way just to purchase my flower there. The last three visits have been less desirable than previously. The staff seems rushed, young, and rude. Their own personal conversation and jokes are more important than the customers who are spending hundreds of dollars per visit. However my last visit was the straw that broke the camels back so to speak. I pull up in the parking lot, sitting in my car about to get out and wait in 40° weather in a long line just to get into the building. Finishing a cigarette. Security comes up to my window and tells me that it's against the rules for me to smoke a cigarette in the vehicle that I own! That I have to put my cigarette out or leave. Did y'all hear me I was sitting in my own car!!!! Smoking a f**** legal menthol cigarette! So yeah, I'll be damned if I'm told what I can or can't do in my own property. And I'll be damned if I ever go back to that store again. As soon as they harassed me about what I do in my own car that is legal in all 50 states, I was gone. Good flower can be found anywhere, good customer service and manners apparently can't be.

I have been coming here for awhile now just always buying the Reef Leaf which I love. I wanted to buy something more top notch so I tried the "Blackjack" & "Alíen OG". Both are outdated and so dry. No real crisp high at all. Just leaves you with cottonmouth and a headache. Spent $98 dollars to buy garbage weed. I use to lose this place and brag all the time about it, not anymore. I am more disappointed to be honest. My 1st time buying they're "higher shelf" and it just shat on me.

This place is awesome, they carry my favorite edibles and the staff is always warm and knowledgeable. Zack was especially helpful! It's also a plus that the place is super cute & retro

Fresh buds, fresh service all the time. Staff is well educated and friendly. The shop is well maintained, clean, and accommodating. I also appreciate the security staff outside who are also friendly but firm, making sure everyone is safe and respecting the shop. I've had nothing but great experience here. Bought a disposable vape (brass knuckles) with a  himeleya battery but the two where not compatible and the cartridge leaked rendering the vape useless. When  I went to pick up again the sup was understanding and replaced my vape. That was awesome. Thank you!

Only two allowed in the waiting lobby at a time and two allowed in the shopping section at a time. Everyone was wearing masks and friendly. Shout out to Brandon who kept us super informed on what we were shopping for and answering all our questions. Will most definitely be back!

From the sucurityyyy to the lady managing the entrance (desk)  and finally the guy that rung me up ..they were all so pleasant! I know we are all going through a bizarre time but these guys managed to stay so friendly and helpful! I purchased some wyld edibles, dog walker pre rolled doobiessss and another pre rolled blunt. So far So good! Oh and lastly can I give a shoutout to the front security guard with the beautiful chocolate brown eyes! Hellerrrr! Thanks Caliva Y'all were dope.

The weed that's worth purchasing is too expensive. And if you get more affordable weed, it won't be in a clear bag or jar because you are gonna get 20% leaves. I CANNOT condone purchasing your weight here. Stick to the delivery services in the area.

Super clean and legit. I am compromised and this place made me feel like I had nothing to worry about.  First time I've gotten a receipt for purchasing my meds and it felt awesome. A guy can get used to this.Security and service were both amazing. Bravo!

GREAT  website experience and also for delivery the status system is excellent.  I also was pleased with the selection of items available online for delivery. The only downside was just the driver. That's kind of where the customer service ended, I was friendly, she was not. I handed the tip along with the payment in cash and she asked if I wanted change back and I said no thanks. Normally there's a "thank you" in response but she didn't even acknowledge the tip. And I tip well too!

Just visited and had Joe Brooks help me out with picking out the right product and just wanted to say he was a very helpful and easy going dude! Definitely will be visiting again

I was thrown off by the name, location, and coffee shop appearance; however, I was satisfied when I was done.Clean, safe, and inviting. Excellent customer service, good product selection, and decent prices. I am not in the area frequently, but if I am Deli is a great spot.

THEIR PRODUCT IS GOOD! But the CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS THE WORST!! MADE ME WAIT FOR 20 mins in their curbside pick up! And then still helped the car that got there after me first. The other car was out of there in less than 5 mins. And I had to wait 20 mins and top of that had to cancel my order cause they didn't seem to care how long I had to wait or how they've made a mistake.I was a FAN till I had to experience this.

I will start by saying service was good and quality was good however the reason for the three stars is I was disappointed to find huge stems, like huge, if everything is pre-weighed for accuracy or whatever I get it but if your giving pre-weighed 3.5 with a tax of almost 15$ I should have .5 in stems. I guess the benefit of other shops while they aren't "legit" is that if you get an eighth it's an eighth. Good quality but I could find this over the bridge and get double with what I paid here.

This is the absolute best place in all the area! Great design, friendly and professional staff, easy in-and-out, a HUGE selection and the best prices across the board. The DELI is my new go-to for flowers for sure!

Went here for a Stiiizy pod and OMG its the cutest shop I've ever been to. It looks like a little bakery lol but they have really good deals. You get 20% off for your first visit and plus every time you go you start to get rewards with your phone number. I've never been to a shop with rewards! They're Stiiizys were also way cheaper then anywhere else. Usually pay like 35-45 bucks for a 1/2 ended up paying $26! The staff was amazing. Even the security in the front and back were super nice! Definitely would recommend to the homies! Coming here again!

Went in about two weeks ago and was helped by an awesome associate named Eric. He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and everything he suggested turned out perfect. Would highly recommend this spot and give their staff a warm 10 out of 5 star review for just being awesome!

I downloaded an app called Paytender while in Caliva. Took me 2 seconds. I was able to link my bank account to the app and then pay without any fee. The ATM fees drive me crazy. I pay a dispensary $3, then my own bank charges me $3! So I pay $6 for a $20 purchase... that's a 30% vig! This Paytender was FREE! So good. From now on I'm only going places where I can use Paytender to pay. FYI for anyone interested you can download it at paytender.com.

RANDY BLUE!  This is for you youngin. Gave myself a couple hours to figure out IF I should leave a Review as many times I've been at Deli's. 1st, People inside, Customer Service is Great. Lela? is Wonderful. But there Security Staff are n have been DISRESPECTFUL n today I have a name. His name is RANDY BLUE, young dark African American n of course Armed.  I'm the only only car in the parking lot (with a car side client in handicapped) n it took forever to get inside. Lil Latino Sec Guard knew it n apologized for the delay. It was appreciated Vato. Then he n another guy switched places. It was RANDY BLUE. I didn't say anything to RANDY BLUE. RANDY BLUE didn't say anything to me. Another 5-10min., RANDY BLUE tells me to go in. I did. RANDY BLUE waits for me to walk past him bout 10ft n RANDY BLUE says in a Sarcastic manner "Attitude."  WTF did I do???  WTH did I say to you RANDY BLUE???  Could have responded on the spot. I should've responded. But I thought the better of it at the time. But I thought the better of it at the time.  These "youngsters with guns" think they can say or do anything.  No sense of Professionalism. No sense of Accountability. N since they've Been allowed to behave in an UnProfessional manner maybe it's because of a lack of Leadership from the Management. What do you say Jane? And this Ridiculous policy of clients holding a drivers license and flipping it over and turning at the right way for it to be scanned if not blah blah blah is no excuse for your Security Day Camp to get an attitude with your clients either (big dark African American). Yes I'm calling you out too!  How about the security guards wear gloves and receive the license n for them to handle the license anyway they want so they can scan it in an easy and PROFESSIONAL MANNER?  How about adding some maturity on your security staff.  Your business needs it.  They can handle a gun, but they can't handle putting on gloves.  Get the idea Security Staff is working under "their own leadership " n Not the Establishment. Okay, let's hear it because this Regular Client IS coming back.

So happy with our experience at Deli. The customer service we received from Anthony was great. He answered our specific questions and gave us great recommendations. I found this place by chance. Started because I was in a bind and needed an accessory they had on hand. Kept bombarding me with emails. Willing to give them a chance, I came in to actually shop. I was very surprised by the aesthetic of the store. The staff that day was extra nice, I think it helped I dropped a pretty dime. They have curbside, they actually carry very decent flower. The are licensed. It was beauty. Today all of that was undone by the short-sighted person you hired to represent your management. I understand rules, but do not pin blame on me when your staff has allowed me to curbside in the past with my family in the car. I definitely understand your "concern" for your liability. However your lack of respect, your mediocre inability to formulate an amicable solution is astounding. It was as easy as: we understand this may have happened in the past, but can you please exit? Please park outside, you are welcomed to walk in and pick-up your order. So simple. Do not raise your voice at me. Please do not mansplain to me why I am wrong. Please just stop. I am unwilling to continue to do business with your company. The choice has and will always be mine. Ps. Stock up. One can not buy products you do not have. Beyond disappointed.

This is about the night time security, it is Thursday April 8th. I showed up at 8:54pm and the security guard in the back wouldn't let me in, saying its 9pm and we close at 9pm. I showed him my watch saying 8:54pm and he again says they close at 9pm. I'm explaining to him it's not 9pm yet but he still saying they close at 9pm. This argument took 2minutes I left at 8:56pm. Please tell me why it still wasn't 9pm, yet he wasn't letting me in? In which I come all the time and every other security guard knows me except a few and this one little short guy with glasses thought he was the shit, but too bad he doesn't know how to tell TIME!8:54-8:56pm is not 9pm!!

I purchased two eighths through this delivery service. Their website stated the two eights I was purchasing tested at 33% and 34%. When I received my order I gave the driver my money and tipped him. I then went in to my house opened my order and saw one flower had a 28% that's absolutely NOT what I purchased, the second flower tested at 30% AGAIN NOT WHAT I ORDERED!!! I called back and they offered me a pathetic excuse of an apology, and eventually HUNG UP ON ME!!! WOW seriously!?? You screw me over and give me a lower percentage weed and then hang up on me when I call you out on your weak excuse of trying to make it better!! The most horribly ran shop I have ever dealt with and I HIGHLY advise you to not spend your money here. There's far better places to go to that do NOT FALSELY ADVERTISE and inflate their THC percentages!!

Super clean.Friendly Staff.Great Products.Gift Certificates available. Free delivery with minimum spend.Ordering online for pickup is def the way to go to bypass the line that sometimes forms outside.Only reason I didn't give them a 5 is because sometimes the price is a bit high compared to other shops in the neighborhood.

This was my first time coming here, and definitely see myself coming back. On the outside, the place looks like an actual deli. So when you see security guards outside of it your first thought is, 'they must have great sandwiches.' The entire staff were cordial and friendly. Rene, my bud tender, was very patient and didn't rush me. He could tell it was my first time and went out of his way to help me out. It's also refreshing to see people who like what they do. It leads to a more welcoming and hospitable environment. There weren't any sketchy people hanging around which is a testament to the excellent security staff.

How bold of this place to just blatantly rip me off. Just take a look at the photo of the receipt and see for yourself. So the subtotal was $22.40. The CA excise tax is at 15% which means that I should've paid an extra .15($22.40)=$3.36. Tell me why they charged me $3.65? They also overcharged me with the 9.5% tax. Now let's look at how much extra money I paid in tax which amounts to 30.61-22.40=8.21. The amount of $8.21 shows that I ended up paying 8.21/22.40=0.3665 or 36.65% in taxes which is more than what the bellflower taxes call for (which should be 33%). Finally, take a look at the top which shows that I even should've gotten a 30% discount so why did I end up paying way more than I should've? Never coming here again and I caution anyone who considers coming here to take a look at their receipt prior to leaving this establishment.

Delivery Came in clutch!First time trying deli and the delivery driver Omar was super helpful answered all my questions regarding deli and the range of products they carry, gave me some good suggestions I will most def be stopping by and pick up some of there in-house flower!

Amazing!!! Finally got to the brick and mortar location and will go again.There's a lot of security which is great. It felt safe and secure.Parked in the lot out back and then headed in. Waited for just a minute or two before we were called in and then we had our own server. Blown away by the choice. I was buying topicals and cbd. They had lots to choice from and cbd for pets too! Every in this place is thought out for the best customer experience- love it!I would recommend this place. And I would go again.

MGMT Said Security would "Apologize" to me face-to-face. NEVER happened. Would you be surprised???? Emails went back and forth, it never came to fruition. If you're ADA, disabled, be prepared to be humiliated by security/staff. If you have experienced ADA violations as others have, feel free to Msg me as others have. CALIVA cannot get away with this. Private msg me and I will supply you with an email so that we can gather more information from you.

I heard about Caliva and wanted to give it a try. I ordered a couple items around 6PM on Saturday (they had an amazing selection for my area. Had every single item that I wanted that I'd usually have to drive to another city for). They only had the option to deliver next day on Sunday with specific time windows, which I didn't mind at all.I was notified by text when the driver was on the way and the ability to track them. My place is a bit but complicated to access but the driver made it to my front door without any issues. He made sure that I checked the bag to ensure all items were there (they were) and he wished me luck on the smash tournament that was going on. I would purchase again!

This place is my go to ! I recommend this place to everyone I interact with. They are always good help and their delivery services is amazing! I had David tonight & by far he was my favorite  he was chill & seemed happy to be doing his job. the tree here is fire too 10/10 recommend.

First time in Cali and we stopped here and man I'm glad we did! We got one of the coolest bud tenders with tons of knowledge to basically walk us through whatever we needed. We made another trip back a few days later and again everything was on point no complaints. This place is always clean and the staff is really nice and very knowledgeable. Every time I come I usually get a different person and each time their recommendations are always a hit since I always want to try something different.

I'm not the biggest consumer of cannabis but I've had nothing but pleasant experiences with Caliva. I don't know how they are on prices, I'm sure some places might be better, but the hospitality I've received when getting deliveries has been second to none. I was used to buying from delivery services, but after meeting Chi, a budtender that used to be a caretaker before she worked at Caliva. She was an absolute angel guiding me through their stizzy inventory. I already knew before hand what I wanted and I'm already quite the connoisseur, so nothing in terms of the bud nothing was new to me. The home-y feeling of this shop, easy pathfinders, and how kind the budtenders really stuck with me since I've never been to a dispensary before. Great people, great bud.

All I have to say is Jenn is AMAZING! You could feel her energy from far away. I was actually waiting in line when I told the customer behind me that he could go first so that I could get Jenn as my consultant (this is without having met her before), and boy, I am glad I did -- I was really nervous because it was my first time in the store and I was unsure of which products to get, but she answered all my questions with enthusiasm, she didn't even get annoyed one slightest bit  when I asked her 20+ questions, she was honestly just this bright ball of energy -- highly highly recommend her!My only complaint is that this place is cash only and I think it's a bit on the expensive side.

Not from town, was referred here by a friend. I gave them 4 stars because i walked in and didn't know what to do, there was no one to greet me and/ or inform me what to do. A customer explain to me what to do. I will say first time customers get 30% off their entire purchase. Angel helped me and my dad out , he was very knowledgeable, also very informational. He educated us and knew all about the strains . He was helpful and made it very experience easy and a breeze. Will definitely be back looking for angel! Unfortunately they don't allow phone calls or videos in the store for privacy reasons, so i wasn't able to get pictures or videos for Yelp.

I bought a new PAX-3 because my PAX-2 finally died (both great products that i recommend).  I mistakenly bought a resign for the PAXera, and luckily when I purchased it (and I wish I could remember her name) made a point of telling my I had a 3-day return with no questions asked.It took me a day or two, and some You-tube searching, to figure out my mistake.  I called Caliva and I had great customer service & headed to the store for the return.Rebecca helped me as did Steve (hope I got that right).  Anyway, I was kind of feeling like an idiot because it was so obvious that the cartridge wouldn't work with my PAX3 .......... I left feeling great, return happily processed and accepted.So I want to personally thank Rebecca & Steve, but also note that from the member reception through the final sale Caliva's customer service has always been best in class!!!Thanks to all,Bob

Solid business that is consistently well stocked, has good sales and products and unlike many of their competitors can actually fill an order in an honest and timely manner. 420 this year was apparently chaotic for them and their website crashed early in the day and despite my order being completed almost 12 hours before they shuttered their website prematurely I sat home all day waiting for a delivery that never arrived and was eventually "cancelled" via email ?! Man was I pissed off ! I called and eventually got ahold of staff that explained what happened and apologized and had me reorder my stuff. I called, complained and was sent back to square one the next day but unlike other local delivery  vendors (like Amuse) Caliva still had shelves well stocked, they honored their sale prices and delivered everything on time and as promised ! It was an unusual 420 ordeal this year but all is now well and we are back in business ! Well done Caliva ! Well done. Highly recommend for in store purchases or home delivery !

3 solid stars and will start with the cons, nothing unreasonable. Just feels really mediocre. Have done 2 pick ups with Caliva, via online. The check in process is a major waist of time, this needs to be modified for a better experience for the customer. 1 Check in at the security2 Check in at the front desk after the first check in3 Wait at the regular shopping line or the pick up line this need a reboot.  ok. The pick up line is to the left of the front door, right of the security check in. It's pointless to have a line for pickup outside and on the inside after the front desk check in. That in itself wastes time for customer experience, the employees are not helpful in guiding customers to the check out line for pick up. Caliva only gets 3 stars for product, variety, safety as in security and quality. Other than that I really do feel like I am shopping at a Safeway with average people and rules that just don't make any sense. Soooo, first time going to a cannabis store all by myself. Quite an experience!   As a newbie I was pretty excited!  I stood inline and instead of getting the bud tenders I was assisted by one of the associates who hands folks their phone orders. I've had Khana when my honey bought it so I asked for 2 packages one of fast acting and one regular. He asked what kind. Dumbass me says well they're all the same- what ever... I get home and my honey points out that I have a bunch of Indica.... Sigh, no returns. This is great for sleeping but not for life. Store policy: No returns. My mistake is YOUR learning opportunity!!!  Hooray for you :-) As a newbie I should have asked more questions and better understood what I was buying.

Update: Got a call and was issued some rewards for staying loyal even after that incident. Only now I have been basically banned from making delivery requests due to my ID not being verified anymore? Found out a note was put on my account saying I can no longer order delivery due to delivery issues. Only pick up. I don't understand how I get flagged for this when the delivery issue was not me. It was the delivery drivers you sent to deliver my order. Not all are bad however the last few that have delivered have had attitude of some sort or just neglected to deliver my order. Now I'm completely done with Caliva and how they have handled this situation. I was blocked from someone's number on their end that was supposed to be "delivery help" & now I can't even make a simple delivery request or a PICK UP request! How the hell? I'm so confused. Whatever, I'll be purchasing my goods elsewhere. You're welcome for my business since 2019. NOTE: My gf orders delivery from them & has noooo issues. They come to the same area, some address, everything but I can't order.

Caliva is always consistently a positive shopping experience. My partner and I came in the other day without any specific idea of what we wanted, but fortunately we were helped by Chi! I haven't been to Caliva in a while because of my last review but let me say today was a different story. I had an online order and I had the pleasure of talking to Steve, when I say he restored my faith in humanity' and customer service. He went beyond to tell me what I needed that helps cancer and also  Steve also took the time out again to show me the product so I can remember what to by next when I stop by. Steve was a 11/10 in customer service I will continue to come back to Caliva because of Steve's excellent customer service.

I've been to this location a few times now and even though it's a little bit of a distance fromwhere I live, I love coming here! Inside it's super cute and clean! The staff are all super friendly and helpful. Especially Garett, who assisted me and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Definitely will keep coming back. Also, not to mention this place has some dope prices (; 10/10 recommend!

I placed an order for delivery. I received 2 expired edibles! When I reached out to get this resolved they said that they cannot issue a refund/ exchange. They offered me a credit for less than what I paid! I still haven't received any credit. It's complete BS. It's not my fault they gave me expired merchandise.

I received a 30% discount for being a first time customer! When you're buying an ounce that adds up!! Bud tenders were super helpful and friendly.Tip: it's cash only so either have cash on hand or use the atm machine.

I really do like Caliva they have always been pretty good but this last order was very frustrating.  I have a high tolerance so I try to get the strongest THC content on the products I buy, usually concentrates.  I order online and this last time I received an item that said 94% THC.  I get home 30 miles away and find out it's only 79%.  It was the most expensive one too. PLEASE ONLINE CALIVA PEOPLE get it right because it's important!!! Thank you to retail for helping me out as much as you could!!

Caliva is probably one of the best dispensaries in San Jose. They have a huge selection and variety to pick and chose from which is nice since you get try out a lot of new products. I placed a curbside order pickup and was satisfied with the customer service. The lady who attended me was awesome and super cool! The wax I bought was straight fire. It was smooth and had a nice aroma to it.

I had a delivery a few evenings ago, and the driver could not have been more helpful, patient and completely pleasant!  I wish I could remember his name because he deserves heaps of praise.  There was an issue with my PIN number and the company Caliva uses to accept payment from. (Hypur) Anyway, I was unable to use my bank account after all, and luckily had a little cash.  The driver called his supervisor, and they worked with me so I was able to get most of my order.  Talk about EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I felt terrible that the money I had set aside for the drivers tip had to go towards my order. This kind of service is pretty rare in the world we live in today.  Because of the way I was treated, I will be a loyal customer to Caliva instead of shopping around.

Caliva is the only dispensary I go to. The staff is always friendly and really helpful. They don't rush you at all to make your decision at the register. The last time I visited with my friend, we got in our car to leave and found the battery was dead. We asked the nearest employee, Garett S., if he happened to have jumper cables. He didn't but he immediately got on his walkie talkie to ask for assistance. The woman who responded on the walkie didn't have any so Garett went to talk to security. He was able to get ahold of a portable battery and ended up jump starting our car himself, since neither my friend nor I knew how. He had left his post to help us and was incredibly gracious. He went above and beyond to help us out for nothing in return - we are so grateful! Thank you!!

My experience was AMAZING. My dad has been suffering with chronic muscle pain for many years, which has lead him to depression. FINALY!! after years,  I was able to convince him to try a Cannabis approach for his body aches. He comes from a very conservative generation, so, I defiantly needed someone who spoke SPANISH to educate him and answer his questions. We meet KEVIN, he was super informative and I was super thankful he spoke Spanish and assured my dad that he was going to feel better physically with a more relaxed mind set. We bought CBD oil and, also a CBD with THC oil. My dad felt comfortable and Kevin was beyond professional, we never felt rushed. Not even doctors have given the amount of empathy Kevin gave my dad. My dad woke up today super refreshed and more happy than usual. I hope this finally helps him manage his body aches, but today was a great start, thats why I'm writing this review. Thank you Kevin.

It was my first time visiting this place let alone a dispensary to be quite honest. My first time experience was smooth and was guided throughly by their great customer service! As quarantine is in full effect, many are left home with nothing to do. This place has been quite packed the times I've passed by with lines on two sides of the building. It can take up to an hour waiting to get to the main lobby and another 10 minutes to just go inside. I assume everyone needs something to help keep them sane during these stressful times. Remember this place is cash only. I obviously did not pay attention to this when I spotted this on Yelp. Luckily, they had an ATM machine inside, hooray for ATM withdrawal fees! I'll definitely be coming back to pick up more goodies. The edibles I purchased were so good.

It was my first time at this location and I love it! I had a great experience: they take COVID precautions, limit the amount of people inside the  shop. Use Caliva for sure. They are so kind, responsive, helpful, and have the cutest delivery bags. My delivery person was super cool and patient when i had forgotten to put my apt number in. I had a question about cartridges and had some user error on the app and a representative actually called me to help me out! Talk about above and beyond. Love this place and love these people! 10/10

I have been going here for a while, and while I have a lot of options for my needs, I keep finding myself back here. Staff is always very helpful, knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. I just went in and dealt with Chaira who was on her second day, but bent over backwards to look in the back for something specific and really made me feel taken care of. I would highly recommend everyone come here for anything and everything they need!

Coming from the East Bay, I'm used to the efficient customer service and wide selection of Harborside. Caliva came up on Yelp as highly rated, and my SJ friend and I decided to stop by on Friday. We came around 7pm and waited about 20 minutes to get in. Once you get in they ask you to register on their iPads, and that's where they get your info to start sending spam texts your phones. Once registered, you sit and wait another 10 minutes to be called into their showroom. Inside the showroom, you wait in another line to be helped by the budtender. You are not allowed to browse the aisles by yourself. I appreciate their social distancing precautions with 4 customers in the showroom at a time. However, I felt the registering part was unnecessary. Our budtender was somewhat helpful.  We were there specifically for CBD products, which they had a decent  variety of but most were mixed with THC. They didn't have any pure CBD products available. I picked up some 20:1 CBD:THC products per the recommendation of the budtender. I bought the edibles for my husband which he said were okay, but he's has better. They're cash only, can't use debit card like most dispensaries. You can download some app they use that's similar to Venmo. Overall, Caliva was an okay experience, but don't think I'll be back because there are better dispensaries out there.

Over the Labor Day weekend, Caliva advertised certain products at 30% off.  I placed an order for a product that they had on their website.  I got a confirmation that my order was "submitted" and that it was "only a matter of time before it would be packed and ready to be picked up."Subsequently, they unilaterally cancelled the order because they were "out of stock".  The. They refused to honor the sale price when they got the product in stock.That's pretty crappy customer service - advertising a product you should know you don't have in stock and then refusing to honor the advertised price.I am curious as to whether anyone else has had a similar experience.

It happened again. The delivery arrived without taxes being removed ... and they tried to tell me there process is to remove the tax on each individual item ... but there are still taxes that, as a state card holder, I am exempted from. They stole my money last time, and refuse to give it back. I tried giving them another chance ... foolish me.Jane C: thanks for contacting me, but I find no option to direct message you. 3/31 So last time I came here was about a week ago for A curbside pick up and there was an issue because I had my daughter in the car I didn't read the fine print so I guess that's my bad but I was still a tad irritated. Today I came in and was helped by marissel she was very polite and informative she was very refreshing from my last visit other than that caliva is great good product nice staff.

The GOOD:+ They have a dedicated parking lot and an easy check-in process. + Tuesdays = Free Taco Voucher with purchases above $35 and Thursday is when edibles are on sale! + Super friendly cashiers. The reviews before me have mentioned this and I have to echo how awesome all of them are.+ Even without the sale, I found their prices to be uber fair like $15 for their PLUS gummies.+ You can order delivery apparently! There's a 20% off if you use their yelp code lol. Great value.The MEH:- Nothing. Great experience start to finish.

Came to get CBD. The guy didn't even try to look for what I was looking for. Although on their website is says they have it in stock he seemed too lazy to go in the back and check. I am so disappointed. I had great services from most of the people there but he really made it worse.

This is a very professional dispensary, from the point of entry and check in, to the purchasing process, to their kiosk and curbside pick up; they excel where others fail. They carry a huge variety of brands for fresh buds, concentrates and edibles, but their prices can tend to be higher than some others in the area. You definitely get what you pay for, just keep an eye on prices and daily deals, as they will save you a huge amount of money. One of the main things I love about this dispensary is the fact that they still have a welcome gift for new customers. They always hook new patients up with a coupon for 30% off of your first purchase and an additional coupon for 30% off of one item.

Caliva was a new experience for me, I never in a million years thought I would need to go to a cannabis dispensary shop. The shop is really nice and put together, everything is organized and in order. The employees were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for me to try. Came in for some topical pain relief. The young man behind the counter was helpful and showed me a few selections to choose from. So went with the stronger stuff for a $1.00 more. Left with a positive experience of what a dispensary can do for you. Got home rubbed the cream on my leg and within 5-10 minutes I felt much better and able to walk with minimal discomfort. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone over 18 yrs of age of course, and I will be returning in the future for pain relief cream.

Product is awesome, prices are some of the highest I've seen post tax, delivery has been 2-3 hours both times I tried Caliva. Will be sticking with kushagram and hyper wolf, but it was worth a shot.

3 stars for the fact that it took nearly 10 minutes to get my curbside pick up order on a Sunday morning when I was the only person waiting in curbside and there wasn't even a line to go inside. This isn't the first time I've had to wait a long time either, but in previous visits there were more people so it was excusable.

Security is polite and personable. Check-in staff is welcoming and budtenders are always great. All staff is masked. I have been in here a few times now and have come in for different items each time. Always feel welcome, never rushed. Good selection of products, their house products are very good, even their entry pre-rolls are good. They honor veterans with a discount daily! Recommend Nickels! Easy, low cost fun.

We got there 30-45 mins before closing I believe. Small like outside as they're practicing good practices to social distance everyone. Only two people in the lobby at a time, and I believe same for the purchasing showroom. We were greeted by a friendly security guy at the entrance and an amazing and friendly beautiful being at the front desk. Wish I could remember his name but he said he had only started about three days ago on Saturday. He was so excited and got us all signed up and asked if it was our first time. We mentioned yes, were visiting from out of town. He had mentioned to us to let the person helping us know it's our first time. So I was a bit excited, like what's going to happen? LolWe got in and was helped by a young lady who seems very unpleased to help us. That is the only reason I knocked this down a star. She just didn't seem interested in helping us. We aren't complicated, but she didn't engage AT ALL! We had to do all the questions to see what it was we might want to try or have. We had told her the gentleman at the front mentioned we should tell you this is our first time. She didn't say or do anything about it. She placed our items in a paper bag and was basically done. Didn't show or explain any of the goodies in the case, or what they had to offer. Just meh, we had asked how much it was to get a cute reusable bag was and she just gave us one...but it seemed like everyone else was just originally given one. Not sure what was wrong maybe she was just having a bad day. Hope her night got better :( Looks like they have an online service so if you don't want to go in you can also order for pickup or delivery. Highly recommend this place regardless our last half experience leaving here.Also, you can't miss this place, it's beautifully painted and labeled lol I love the vibe here!

I ordered for their promo today and the order went through and said ready for pick up... so I came to pick up my order. Everything I ordered was in the bag but then they said that some items were only limited to 1 per person. The website did not state that at all and the order went through. They should've honored the order I placed.

I loved the overall service however Becca was extremely helpful and rigides me with the answers to my questions and made sure to establish want I'd like as a consumer. Becca is extremely insightful and well informative.

Upon recommendation from the responder on here, I wrote a nice, detailed email to general manager a week ago to the address provided. No return, no response of any kind.  Just as well.

This is a first class operation. They take protocol and rules very seriously and follow them to a tee. The budtenders were very helpful with advice and recommendations. Their prices for the gummies and vape cartridges seemed consistent with stores in San Francisco. For $120 I got 5 packages of gummies and a vape cartridge.

Good prices. Sometimes the staff is very helpful. If you are medical this is the place for you. But it is best to know what products you need going in. Trust me.

I ordered for curbside pick up on 06/17 and was never contacted to be notified of whether or not my order was ready. Their customer support person, Bill, didn't even bother responding further to me. Order has been "packed" since Wednesday 06/17 but as of today 06/23 no confirmation on whether or not it's ready for pick up. I even called to ask if it was ready. They told me to not come until I received a text/email confirmation. I never received anything. They had their chances to fix things and make it up. But they didn't care to. I truly just wanted to try curbside for the convenience. But too bad they kinda suck and this was not a convenient or pleasant experience at all.

I'm not a user, but I took my friend who was a user and was quickly impressed by the attitude of the people working at the 7th St. location, the front desk girl Alex was happy and very informative of the process, she let us know that it was busier than usual and that we had to wait in the lobby for a little bit, once we entered, it was a whole new world, the bud tender knew so much information about the products and what to get my friend as soon as he asked. Overall a great experience.

Prices are a bit high for a legal shop, product was clean and exactly as described.  Would order again as we have limited options. Now to the lows. Delivery is not accurate and continues to get later and later as your delivery gets to be the next one. They make you sign up for their online email program and they blast you non stop, when you try and cancel you find out your signed up for 2 different email advertising programs that continue when you unsubscribe. Would give a solid 3.5 stars without the email bs. Take me off your advertisement list and I'll change up this review.

Came in to town for a girls trip and Garett S set us up with everything we needed. He was super knowledgeable and helpful in finding what would suit us best.  We had a lot of questions and never felt rushed.

I am a total square, but went to Caliva in search of pain relief for spouse who's having some acute health issues, isn't getting adequate pain management from the docs, and is in off/on, excruciating, consider-going-to-the-ER-level pain until at least the next appointment, in two weeks. This place is very clean and organized, and everyone who works here seems cheerful and friendly. Note that you do need to show ID to the security guard outside to enter, then need to create an account on the kiosks if you're a new customer (incl giving your phone number and email), then need to "check in" where you hand over your ID, I assume to associate it with/validate your account). After all that, you get buzzed into the main room to stand in line for an available associate, or pickup your preorder. It felt very security-conscious. It is CASH only (there is an ATM).Austin was super friendly, patient and helpful, discussing our circumstances and explaining/showing me different options. The 1:1 gummies I brought home have been a HUGE help already. We are so grateful to live in CA and have options like this now, and relative to rx meds in the American healthcare system, it was so inexpensive too! Re covid, you must be masked to enter (tho you do need to pull your mask down outside so security can verify your ID), Caliva is still at reduced indoor capacity, all employees are masked (altho I did see one woman with her mask below her nose), and there are plexiglass barriers in front of each register. You can of course do pickup and stay in your car or get delivery if you know what you need.Overall just a really positive experience, thank you!

They flagged my account over an issue that wasn't my fault. I tried getting in contact with them and I was just told they would look into it but never bothered to reach back out. I've been a customer for a very long time and always recommended people here until now. Don't waste your time with delivery, just go in person.

This review is primarily for the delivery service. Put order in last night and chose 9am-12pm delivery slot. I called at 9am because they sent a single email to confirm and that its. Not a robust system of confirmation. They said to call if I didn't get a text from driver by 12:30pm; they are backlogged. Ok- so its a 4 hr window like cable. Got it. NOPE- 12:45p and no text. Called again and they then say that I have not even been Assigned a driver, so sorry and did I want to do 5pm-10pm or curbside pick up. So; if it was going to be 5-8 hr delivery time; they should let customers know earlier. Why even schedule? I cancelled the order, then I ordered through a company my sister recommended (which also had discounts- Caliva doesn't have any good deals - expensive -) and they were to me IN ONE HOUR. If your going to not deliver anywhere near the time- at least offer a discount. They got 2 stars because when I went into the location on previous occasion, the budtender was super helpful and the facility was clean. I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR DELIVERY.

I'm not much of a weed aficionado.  If I do partake, it's on a rare occasion.  And then when I do, you can just call me a "one hit wonder."  It's the same with alcohol so call me cheap.  In my world, it's not a bad thing since I don't need much.  When I did visit Caliva, it wasn't for recreational purposes at all.  It was for a CBD/ THC balm for knee pain.  Ever since I tore my ACL, my left knee has been on and off giving me issues.  My usual "go-to" is Ibuprofen but even that gets tiresome especially when you start to feel like you take it more often than you need to.  When someone mentioned this stuff to me, I was more than game to try it.  The experience here was fast, friendly and efficient.  After checking in with your ID at the front door, you are directed to walk in and then sign in on an iPad with your info so it's all saved up in their system.  Then you walk up to the smiling front desk agents who direct you into another set of doors.  No cameras allowed they say.  After walking through the doors, you fall into an organized line where you wait for a "bud tender" to call you up.  The place is huge, spacious and filled with every kind of product imaginable-- candy, drinks, cookies (edibles), lotions, tinctures, mints, vape pens, and so much more.  Merchandising genius, I say. The line moves quickly and once called up, I meet my "bud tender" and ask for exactly what I want.  They show me several options of lotions and balms.  I ended up going with a balm called "Dr. delights relieve" which has 125mg THC + 125mg CBD.  It promises "serious pain relief + so much more."  It came out to $50 for 2.5 ounces so the stuff ain't cheap.  California got smart and decided to tax everyone 30%.   And the results?  Good, but not great.  I can't say that it's taken away all of my knee pain but after about 15 minutes of rubbing it in, I can feel a little relief.

Wow! Caliva is awesome. It's a super cute atmosphere and the green wall behind the front desk is adorable, like I need!I would recommend Caliva to newcomers and "OGs" in the game. The bud tenders are very knowledgeable and can offer suggestions depending on your wellness needs. I love that everything you see online is available in real time. I was able to mark some items in my cart and then discuss them with the bud tender. I really enjoyed Caliva's Halloween Party and my $1 mystery gram! Caliva is the best of its kind!

I love this place so much and have never had a bad experience, as to why I keep coming back. Everyone who works here, even the security guards, are super friendly and welcoming. The bud tenders are knowledgeable and actually give you good and honest advice on the products. I feel safe coming inside the store as well since the pandemic, as it is a clean facility and staff are always wearing masks and gloves. I always order my products online to be picked up in the store, and if they are out of something, I always get something  better in return. Please support this dispensary you will not regret it. I even have gotten my parents and boyfriend to come here!

This is the best cannabis delivery service in the Bay! Their customer service is impeccable. Being a frequent customer, they have always gone above and beyond to clarify any questions or help with any issue that may come up. Caliva also now offers rewards points that you can use as a discount off of your purchase, so returning customers feel even more appreciated. The drivers are almost NEVER late on their anticipated delivery time, and my experiences have always been positive as they are so kind, polite, and sociable. Security is nice, whole entire store is amazing, clean, and organized. Budtender Karley especially is so special to the team, and always makes sure I get what I'm looking for by being very attentive, and detailed as well as very well versed in the products and techniques for smoking, edibles, vapes, etc. She tends to know and have information on anything theyre selling off the top of her head, and I really appreciate that because it shows shes interested in helping, eager, and helps me find what I need fast because I usually want to get in and get out as soon as possible to enjoy my purchases.Thanks again Caliva.

Caliva is my go to spot! It's trendy, they have amazing customer service, the employees are friendly and very inviting. Most importantly, they have a large selection of products and goodies to choose from which they update and restock quite frequently.I recommend ordering online to avoid waiting in long lines during rush hours. They have a separate pick up section.

I love this dispensary don't get me wrong but the only reason why I put 3 stars it's because I don't know if it's the costumers or the staff but they take waayyy too looonnnggg and the lines are always packed but I'm sure going to say it but if customers don't know what they want and the costumers ask WAY TO MANY STUPID QUESTIONS when they already know the damn brand!  they should have a separate line for them and for the people who already know what they want go by fast that is all

Caliva is nothing short of an experience. There's something to be said about a rigorous sign in process that makes you feel exclusive.That is the process it takes to even see the wares. First there is a security guard that checks your ID for age. Once you get in the store, you must sign up for an account with Caliva before you can enter, no exceptions. There are iPads in the front of the store for you to fill out a form with your info. Then you present your ID again, this time to the front desk staff to verify your ID and to sign you in essentially. After all this, you enter the secondary area where you can make your purchases. I know this all seems like a lot but they do have a points based loyalty program which is connected to your account so it isn't solely to track your spending habits and send you tailored offers. ;)From here there are two main routes you can go. The first is to queue up in a line to see a budtender which you can go to for consultation and advice about what kind of products they have and will ultimately ring you up. There's also a kiosk for people who have pre-ordered and are picking up. If you know what you need that definitely seems like the way to go since the line for that was a lot shorter.We were shopping on on 420 Eve partially because 420 but also because they had free Ben and Jerry's ice cream with purchase and some good deals for the holiday. On this occasion we were also trying to make a return/exchange since my friend purchased a vape pen that stopped working abruptly. Later when we checked the receipt we would see that most defective items can be returned within 3 days however we didn't have a problem getting the pen exchanged. The budtender checked with a manager who okay'ed it quickly and had the replacement ready in a flash. We also asked for a few recommendations and managed to find the right products for everyone in our party. On our way out we passed by the ice cream pick up station and left with all the right treats.

Kinda bummed out.  Ordered a few things from the website for delivery. I placed my order around 830 and it didn't arrive till 1030. Everything looked cool but when I opened up the Vape box the cartridge was missing. I just paid $30 for an empty box. I paid the delivery guy cash so there isn't much I can do about it now. I left a message on the website and waiting to see if anything comes of it. Buyer beware.

Wow! They really are rockstars especially during the chaos that is COVID-19. I can't say enough good things about them, especially with how they handled their orders. Poor team has been swamped and there has been terrible weather yet they got my order to me as promptly as they could (same day as promised, just later in the day) and were updating with info when requested. Hang in there!!

IMHOHubby had ordered online for some CBD w/THC tincture (so he could utilize a 25% off coupon code).  Caliva texted when the order was ready for pick-up, so we headed down to 7th St.  We pulled into the parking lot and found a line of spaces dedicated for pick-up orders.  Each parking slot had a number assigned to it.  While we waited in the car, the walk-up line was growing with some people wearing masks, and some trying to maintain a 6 ft. distance between each other. We texted Caliva from our car that we had arrived and gave them our parking slot number.  We waited maybe 10 minutes before a Caliva representative came to our car wearing mask and gloves, confirmed via driver's license that my hubby was indeed the one who placed the order, scanned the Pay Tender code from his phone, then politely said she'd return with the order.  A few minutes later, our paper-bagged product was in hand and we were on our way.  Easy peasy!

Today was my second time visiting Caliva and I had a great experience! The store's staff has been polite and professional both times that I have come here. I lost my previous battery that I purchased from Caliva (Eel River Organics) and was looking to purchase the same one but they did not have it there anymore. However, Tori was super cool and helped me pick out a new battery and cartridge! She gave me suggestions from a selection of batteries that I may be interested in and let me check each of them out from their boxes. I ended up getting the Moxie x Dart Battery Gold and I really like it! She also helped me pick out a new vape cartridge as well. I had little to no knowledge about the types that they had but she took the time to explain them to me. I was looking for something fruity and a hybrid so she recommended that I should get the Moxie Member Berry Liquid Moxie Dart Pod. Got to try the product out and I'm happy with my purchase! Tori was friendly and I'm glad I got her help!!

This place is so expensive and the product is just mediocre. Here, I feel like it's more about selling what looks appealing from the actual store to their products oppose to selling quality products at a fair price. I waited outside what seemed to be forever just to go inside and for there to be three customers including myself and over 10 staff members standing around talking to each other. The actual person who helped me was nice enough but I felt rushed. Being rushed is not what I wanted to feel like after waiting outside in the cold and paying taxes here up the ass. Don't be fooled by the cool looking building or the hype on Yelp.

My experience here has always been very good. The employees are all very friendly and care about providing a good experience for the customers. The atmosphere makes me always feel good to shop here. I was looking for edibles and the lady who helped me was very knowledgable in regards to all the products they offer. I really appreciate her patience in breaking down all the little details for me to choose the right product for what I'm looking for.

This is one of my go-to dispensaries! Always a clean environment, helpful staff. Most of the time I just order online and quickly just pick up my products and head on with my day. COVID Status: They are practicing good social distancing from the queue line, to indoor service, all the way to curbside pickup.Definitely recommend trying this place out, website is always up-to-date and ready to pick up as expected while ordering online for pick up

Nice place but overpriced. Only go for the first time 30% off discount and stock up. Other than that everything is overpriced. Don't be fooled by the listed prices. Other dispensaries just give you the cash price and then you'll see the weird taxes equaling what price they just told you. Here it'll say one price and they'll tell you the price and say before taxes(probably because they don't know the weird taxes too) then you'll see they it's way more than listed. So a Heavy Hitter Vape cartridge says $52 (which is lower than the average price $60) but after taxes it's $65 and change. The workers are really nice but lazy and the lines are long and TAKE FOREVER!!! Customer service makes up for how slow and lazy they work but once you realize you spent 30 plus minutes in line just to buy a vape cartridge when there was literally 5 people ahead of you, really makes you wonder were time went.(30 minutes online order not busy/ 1 hour busy online order busy) Last time I visited I gave them my cannabis card so I didn't have to pay the taxes that people have to pay that don't use marijuana for medical use and they still charged me taxes. They just said I can now but more than an ounce at a time. Other dispensaries don't charge you taxes. Yes I have given them 3 tries. Next store for me

The whole staff was really kind here. The lobby and shopping area are set up nicely and I love the decor. Lines weren't too long so that was nice as well. My budtender Ciena was really nice and helpful in helping me pick out some edibles and recommended me her favorites. I will definitely come back!

I'm giving this a three star because of the knowledge of the staff the first time I went there, the kindness of them and general good will and friendliness by my first bud tender there. But today I went there and would have given it one star. But the manager gave me 10% off and apologized for whatever happened between current bud tender and me (Haba?). I went in to grab some cartridges and flower. She helped me with the cartridges and as soon as I asked her for flower she started trying to push their in house grown alien og.  I seen it and I didn't want it. I wanted something to look at other than that that she had just shown me.  She would only let me scroll the tablet but not look at any actual jars. And her attitude was real matter of fact take it or leave it. Which was confusing because I went there for my first time and they treated me golden. Anyways, this place is big and the hierarchy in their employees rosters runs on who has the burning man, seventh level lingo down. anyways, that's how I seen it. I seen everyone around me getting nice treatment but this lady (Jaba?) or whatever her name is had it out for me. She's protected as the manager is interested in her and she has the right seventh level earth muffin disposition to get away with treating her customer like second. They're big so they won't miss my business. I suggest you give your business to a dispensary that needs and wants it. Not this big machine. -

Wanted to do a review just for the gentleman that helped me at the counter Yosef. He was extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Haven't smoked in awhile but he was very patient and explained their deals, differences between everything, and just great energy and knowledge overall! Straight from the door the rest of the staff were very welcoming. Definitely recommend for long time smokers because of the wide variety of selection and recommend for beginners as well because of the staff and how great they are at helping you find what will fit your needs!!! Definitely my new favorite place!

Visited Caliva for the first time yesterday.   Because of COVID,  lines where long because of social distancing.   Once inside,  very professional.  I was especially pleased with Miranda and her knowledge of products sold.Will visit again.

Visited the dispensary due to the size in San Jose and didn't think it would be much better than the main stream dispensaries but the three day return on this constant specials and excellent customer service is what keeps me coming back. Not to mention home grown products

Beware of their so called "curbside pick up" if you've got somewhere to be. They will take 40 mins AFTER YOU ARRIVE to get your order ready.

I used to love caliva. The bud tenders there were truly great. I kept ordering from them because i also like their shop. It's big, decorated nicely, they had a wide variety. I ordered ahead for pick up a couple of weeks ago. They confirmed it was ready. The line for pick up took me over an hour of waiting. The walk-in line was moving much quicker. Anyways so i finally get in and I'm told my order was cancelled, and they don't have some of the stuff i ordered anymore. (No email or anything telling me it was cancelled) so i had to order other stuff since I'd already waited so long i wasn't going to leave empty handed. Then, was told they no longer accept debit cards and i had to pay to use the ATM. i left frustrated and annoyed, told myself they have burned me too many times, I'm not going back. After over a year of going there I've just gotten tired of them. They're so pretentious about making people wait (in lines, delivery, whatever) The delivery is NEVERRRRRRR on time. And when it comes hours (or even days) after being promised, they try to make you feel guilty for complaining by talking about their essential workers and how they are "trying their best" (i doubt its the delivery drivers fault you guys are behind) They sent out an email today, apologizing for being so slow and messing up all the time these past two months. Offered a 20% discount on one item. So i ordered. Got an email saying to wait up to an hour for confirmation and to tell me a driver is on the way. That's great, no problem. An hour and a half later, no email. So i emailed them. No response. So i chat with them. Dude on chat tells me yeah sorry, it's the weekend we're busy on the weekend (it's Friday morning) there's 20 people ahead of me still. -_- why did you email me telling me to wait an hour ? I wouldn't have mind the longer delivery time, but don't make me wait around like that.... just cancel it... forget it.... too frustrating

First time getting my goodies delivered.Saw Caliva on the web and decided to give it a try.I ordered online for delivery around 9:00 AM. Got an email immediately to confirm my purchase, then one moments later that my products have been packed.They start delivery at 3:00 PM. I got a text message around 3:10 on status of my delivery. Driver called me half hour before arrival. Driver was excellent!! Very communicative, professional, friendly, and patient during the payment process.Thank you for making things easy for me! Will def have more deliveries in the future.

I was nervous about come to Caliva because it was so large, but Corrina assisted us at the front desk and immediately made me feel at ease. She was super personable and friendly and gave great information on the newest products and offers! Highly recommend!

My husband and I love this dispensary!! I've frequented this spot a handful of times and the review it overdue. It's the first dispensary I've ever been it and it's very nice. The security guards are very welcoming and so are the employees. The last time I went, the line was long and we didn't want to wait. Thankfully the employees who were at the outside tent was very nice and gave us the option to order through her. It didn't take long to get our order. This is my official go-to :)

It's sad to see how far Caliva has sunk. They used to be a great club. I've spent lots of money here and they used to be great. Now they can't keep anything in stock. Poor management has ruined this place. The bud tenders say that they have opened a So-Cal shop and that's why stock is so low. Well Fuck your so-Cal shop. I will never recommend this club ever again. Don't waste your time here. Find a shop who cares about the local community. Again sad to see how far they have sunk.

When you order online you get a message that states you will be contacted via email to schedule delivery. Being I'm recovering from multiple back surgery's and can't leave the house. I had my delivery all set up at 1030 am. It's now 945 pm and they still have not contacted me about my order.Do not do business with such a horrible company that doesn't care about there customers or there City. Amazing that they have such a big celebrity base for owners but at the store level they suck!!!! I will never do business with them again and will tell everyone I knowNot to shop there as well. If you want to order your medicine and they never show,email or call after several inquiries then there you go. Horrible customer service. Sad in a day in age when business are struggling. Do not shop here!!!!!

Tried to go back to Caliva for an emergency restock only to get home and find that the cart I literally just bought is missing about a quarter of the juice. You can see from the time I bought it to the time I have gotten home that no time has lapsed. This isn't a different cart. There's no way I could smoke this much in that short of a time. Honestly, such a shame. I tried. Don't trust these guys. Never know what kind of problem you're gonna have here.

Place sucks. There's no call in option and their website is faulty. Just moved away from Airfield, who really sucks, and these guys did not help.Go to Madmen. Really supportive staff.

I've been an ambassador for Caliva for quite some time (about a year) and have loved this company and dispensary so much. The employees are helpful and patient, if you have questions. The location is large and it has a ton of product options. To prevent a long wait, always order ahead for pick up! Their point system is great, too. I love their vegan edible options.

"Not all dispensaries are created equal". With the fairly recent legalization of recreational marijuana, there have been dispensaries popping up everywhere across Cali. I have been to at least 5 different ones in the Bay Area, and I can certainly say that Caliva is the best one. First off, parking is VERY EASY. They have a huge parking lot reserved for Caliva customers only, which may not seem like a big deal but this is San Jose/Bay Area where free and spacious parking is a rarity. Second, the check in process was very smooth. I absolutely loved the vibe/presentation of the entrance. There were two awesome ladies to check you in and three iPads in the back for you to register. It was highly efficient. Finally, I have to say that the absolute best part of my experience was the CUSTOMER SERVICE. From the security guard to the gentleman stocking shelves that waved goodbye on my way out, this place is something different. The person who rang me up and helped with my order was THOMAS. The very first thing he asked me wasn't "what do you need", but instead "how are you, what is your name? My name is T".  Afterwards, I told him I was in for some CBD, and he told me more than I ever knew about it. It was a nice education session. He was the best and recommended me these amazing 20:1 watermelon gummies (see photo) that will hopefully help a night shift worker like me sleep better. What's really nice about this place is that even though it was busy with customers, they employ enough people to keep the line going efficiently, while not sacrificing great customer service. There were about 4-5 people working the registers, just chatting it up with customers and it was great.  PS, they do free deliveries over 50 dollars and they have an awesome rewards system. Their ATM fee is $2.50, which is standard from what I've experienced. I think they usually take card but it was down when I went.

I have always had an enjoyable, fun experience visiting Caliva. The product selection, ambiance, and customer service has always exceeded my expectations. May 28th was no exception. I had the pleasure of being helped by Karley :) - a fantastic sales associate who has (who recognized my face- despite the mask I was wearing). I am always grateful to be helped by Karley when I visit Caliva because she offers helpful product recommendations and uplifting conversation. Caliva is my go to dispensary in San Jose. It was voted 1 in the nation and I feel they represent the title consistently. What I truly enjoy visiting caliva is their appreciation for customers. I've been to two of their big events, one on Jan 1 and on 4/20. They have a DJ. Spin the wheel game. Food truck. They were handing out free grinders, shirts, pizza, and many more cool items!  As for regular visits, they have amazing selection of products. Edibles, oils, concentrates, flower, pre-rolls, and anything you can imagine! I love the atmosphere here I always feel like I'm going to a coffee shop. also they have rewards system to track your points!  I would come visit here even if you are not a local, this place should almost be like a tourist attraction! After you are done here, go checkout Hermitage brewery right behind the building

Miranda helped me out today, it was my first time here at Caliva and she was so sweet and informational. Her attitude was positive and upbeat and she was very pleasant to talk to this morning. I was feeling anxious and Miranda's personality had me leaving Caliva feeling happy, and calm. Very professional employee!

I've had good experiences with both in-store pickup and delivery.  This time because of the pandemic I wanted to try curbside pickup.  I had a question about today's special deal, so I used the customer service chat on their website.  Alina was super patient and helpful in addressing my concerns and walked me through how to pay and the curbside pickup procedure.  Alina was also the one to bring out my order and she was very sweet.

Ordered from them yesterday around 7pm online and I wanted it to be delivered,After ordering I got a message saying that the driver is on his way to me and they will let me know when he arrivesAt 11pm I get a message says sorry we cannot delivery you and if you need anything let us know Lol what a joke !!!Now I'm left without! So here I am sharing my experience....Also their weed is sucks to be honest I think they spray it or something I don't know but anyway I'm done with them.

I had an appointment for my car's tires and this place was located right across the street. To pass time I have decided to try it. First time people have to register at the tablet right when you enter, which takes about 5 minutes. They don't really ask for specific details except your birthday. Then afterwards, you have to check in and wait to enter. If you're registered you can go straight to check in. Then you can enter and walk through to door to enter this Marijuana Eden. I've never seen a place so nice and organized. Also everyone here was very helpful. I like how you don't have to ask the people behind the counter what stuff they have, there is a tablet where you can view the menu and what they have in stock. I ended up buying 2 candied edibles and I was on my way. They also have a reward system here which is pretty cool. 20 points for every time you check in and it's about 130 points for free stuff. I normally go to Harbor Side, because it's closer to home, but this place is  pretty awesome. The thing I did notice was that the prices here were just a tad bit higher compared to the ones at Harbor Side. I don't know this place well enough to see if they have deals or specials, but I have subscribed to receive emails if they have any specials.

I came in and they were so helpful and accommodating to me. Courtney the bud tender was super nice and friendly and so was Marduke (?, sorry man if that's not correct spelling) the floor manager. Would recommend 100/10

I thought I'd stop in and give caliva another shot. Pick up a quarter of their deli greens strawberry banana. Got home opened the package and found this disappointment. More stems then anything. Looked nothing like the sample jars. Too bad.

Love, love, love coming here for all my cannabis needs, the curbside pick up is superior and they're always fully stocked, even if something is out they'll call in advance and suggest a substitution. The customer service you receive is perfect example of what great customer service should be, way to go Caliva! My boyfriend and I were in the San Jose area and found Caliva through Yelp. The process was fairly simple. Once we registered and had our IDs checked we got through to the actual store where you have an amazing selection of products to choose from. Our bud-tender Andrew, was very knowledgeable, gave us great recommendations, and gave us an overall pretty good experience. Will definitely be back next time we're ever in San Jose!

Man it sucks the day I had to leave this kind of review for Caliva. I have been a long time customer and never had issues until today. I accidentally made an order hitting the "Pay with Cash" option. I had to then cancel the order. You would think it would be an easy user experience but you are forced to use the website's chat box. I waited almost 10 minutes for a response and when I finally got a response I was met with not even a hello or the usual customer service questions. I was then transferred to my local Caliva and then again waited long periods of time for a response. No confirmation of cancellation or asked me for my name or order number. It was truly confusing. When finally told it was canceled I received a notification that my order was on it's way and I had to go through the process again of being routed to the right store and then waiting for responses. I finally got a hold of someone again and gave them my order number to make sure the driver didn't have to waste time delivering something they said was already canceled. After told it has been canceled they ended the chat abruptly. I suggest to make your online customer service experience more precise, with effective communication and something to confirm the cancellation like an email or actively have an update.

I have been coming here for some time. The customer service is amazing! I met this young man by the name of Yousef. He was amazing. I'm still kinda new to the cannabis world and he educated me and shared with me what was the differences of strands. And in doing so he kept a smile on his face. I fully enjoy walking into Caliva. We are treated like family and that's how it should be. Thank you so much Yousef for all your help! You rock at your job!!

Ordered curveside pick up never got any notice regarding order. Called them, was told order was ready to just drive up and park. Was told someone would be there to process order. Got there n no1 was there. I was the only vehicle parked to pick up order.  waited for a good while. No1 shows. Asked security guard, he called inside and was told to tell me to go inside to process order. Wtf! Worst experience ever.

The product and people are great. They need a better person running there promotions. Every email and promo they offer has been in useable. The experience reminds me of the old days when you would earn all those miles/pints and could never use them. The airlines and hotels figured out this was costing them business. I hope Caliva does as well. Will not spend 1 more dollar of my money with them until they figure out the purpose and experience expected for such incentives. Unbelievable

Can you make this process any more difficult? The product is LEGAL! I can buy a gun easier than this!

I've been to this dispensary twice now. Customer service is pretty good, the bud tenders are helpful. The edibles here are really good and so are some of the wax cartridges that they hold! This place is definitely worth coming to!

When they started it was great. Now, they claim "2 hour windows" for delivery and yet, when all is said and done 2 1/2 - 3 hours. They don't seem to prioritize the ASAP orders, so why is it an option? The web specials never add up dollar wise.. ie 14.45 each or 4 for 60. Can't spend less than 50.00 so you need 4, thus losing 1.80. Crazy.

Ordered for delivery at 7:30 or so at night yesterday. Order was packed by 7:45pm. Never went out for delivery. Was never updated. They close at 9, and open at 9, so I couldn't contact anyone until over 12 hours later. I contacted customer chat support at 9:01am, and the person who helped me was amazing. They even called me to rectify the issue. We figured out a solution that worked. I'd come pick it up-but I did state I was now going to run a little late to work so the pickup has to be fast. Cool. I was informed I should let them know when I'm close to expedite my pickup. Great! Thanks so much! Fast forward 15 minutes. I've texted to let them know where I am, I texted 6 minutes before arrival. I updated once I arrived with a car description and the space number within which I was parked. I'm told someone is coming out right now. Someone does come out. But that order isn't for me. He tells me it is (or so I thought, I could've misheard him), and then shouts I'll be getting a phone call. Why? Why is someone calling me? An unknown Los Angeles number calls. Assuming it's spam, I don't pick up and wait for a local number to call. LA number calls again. I pick up. It's Caliva. I AM STANDING OUTSIDE WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME. Oh to verify my order? I told her my order was verified, I was told this would be a fast pickup. She wants to verify and set up payment method. I tell her I selected cash. There is no payment to set up? She asks how much cash I have (weird question but okay). I tell her. She goes "it's to make change". No. Lol. I know my total. The change would've been a mere 90 cents. I told her please just keep the change, I just want the product so I can go. This is already making me late. She's rude. Calling me "sweetie", "honey", whatever other pet names, and generally being condescending from the literal beginning of the phone call. No sense of urgency. Nothing. I ask if they can please just give me the order. I don't need change. The man who came out originally comes out. Apparently a supervisor. And starts going "let me explain how our procedure works" I tell him, look. I do not have time. This order was supposed to be hand delivered last night. I've spent more than enough time trying to get this product. Please just give me the product. He tells me not to disrespect his employees as I walk away. 1. When a customer has an issue that your company caused, you fix it. You don't sit there and make it harder for the customer. You don't treat the customer like they're stupid. You apologize and fix it. The person I spoke to via live chat/the first phone call was great at this. 2. I was told they were informed of my delivery issue, and my time constraint. I placed the order last night to avoid this exact issue of having to rush. Knowing I'm in a rush, and already have dealt with issues, you t hi kk they'd streamline the process instead of making me speak to multiple people to pickup an order they failed to delivery. 3. Don't preach about disrespect, when your employee calls people honey, sweetie, etc over the phone and speaks to your customers like they're five years old. If a customer is already irritated because you messed up, maybe don't make it worse by treating them like they're inept? Seeing the other reviews, I'm convinced that the retail side (v delivery), has some serious issues. Definitely will not be back.

I love this place, I showed up today for a pick up order and forgot my face mask because I was high. Miranda hooked me up with a free face mask and Caliva weed to keep me high the rest of the day. I'm high right now so the weed does work  so that also deserves 5 starts.

We went here with a group of friends on a whim while in San Jose for a Beyonce concert back in '18. I wanted some edibles and flower to enjoy with the warm day   The reviews and overall marketing approached seemed appealing but I wondered if they could live up to the hype.  Check in: Security guard was great. Signing up fo all of us was a breeze (even got to see the menu though I did not verify if it was up to date.) Front desk lady was awesome. So far very good. Space: We walked in and the environment is definitely pretty cool. Aesthetic, vibe, and staff all looked polished and professional. It felt like a more organic apple store. There were interesting product presentations to view while waiting in line. That said, a daily menu would be pretty cool to browse while in line. Budtender: Seemed chill enough at first. Asked us about the products we wanted and I started with the edibles we came there for. (Espresso dark chocolate beans). When I asked him how much they were, he said $35. Knowing that I had paid $18 for the exact same thing pre-legalization, I was a bit curious as to whether he was saying it was $35 for two or if the beans had not gone up since legalization. When he confirmed that it was $35/tin, I almost started laughing. Legalization has its cost but it is comical if they can make a business off of such an increase. The budtender said that the vendor  adjusted their prices and said some other random confusion about potency decreasing; the vendor just reduced the number of beans that come in the tin. He mentioned a completely different product but neglected to either realize or mention that the product I was buying still had the same dosage/potency as before. For anyone not familiar or not paying attention, this could be bad for people new or not familiar with cannabis. This was the first red flag but I did not mention it. Realizing I needed to do further research to determine if the price gouge was coming from Caliva, the vendor, or inflated local taxes, I decided to get two tins and move on to some flower. Without asking my interests or anything about effect, the budtender started whipping jars out for us to smell. I don't mind this since you could theoretically narrow down plant genetics based off the terpenes but it is a lot of work and not as easy as cannabinoid profiles. I looked at the jars and only saw THC %. I asked him for some outdoor, sun grown flower and asked him about Humboldt Farms. He said it was grown in a green house and indicated his lack of enthusiasm for it. He threw some other flower at us with little explanation and we continued to smell jars. Once we landed on a couple I asked him if he knew the percentage of CBD. It was at this time that he kind of muttered at the irrelevance since CBD percentages are usually .2%. I looked at him confused trying to understand what he was trying to tell me but not wanting to correct him. (It was not until I wrote this review that I realized he was likely conflating the actual sample tested weight (3.5grams) and CBD % equating with .2grams.) It was at this point that I a kind of lost interest... While the experience was not terrible, due to the budtender and his general lack of product understanding, I left with money on the table. At the end of the day, all of the marketing and customer service does not mean anything if the people actually selling and explaining the product do not know what they are talking about. Caliva is not alone but for all the hype, it left a lot to be desired in the most important department to me.

I went in during the COVID-19 pandemic, and they were very safe; only letting in 4 customers at a time; hand sanitize available, and everything looked very clean.  I went in for CBD oil and I like what the salesperson recommended. The package on the CBD oil has lots of information so I know exactly what I'm ingesting. And it makes me feel comfortable in taking a small dose. I will definitely return.

I am so glad I found this place!!! I am from San Francisco, the city has banned the vape stores. It's either I find another city or fly out to LA to get my vape stuff. Until I found this place in my weed maps app while was in town to visit family, get yummy foods and my favorite sugar cane drinks. I was here with my roommate yesterday. Everyone is SUPER FRIENDLY, and VERY NICE. From security, to hostess, and consultant. The hostess told me there's a consultant who has the same hair color as me.  Right when I got in I was greeted nicely right away and when I tuned around I saw JENN! MY MERMAID TEAL HAIR TWIN!! Jenn is very helpful when it comes to my vape pens because I was running low on my disposable ones.  Then she introduced me the pods for the vape for me to try them out and see if I liked it. I also asked for gummy edibles and her picking of passion fruit gummies are the YUMMERS!! I  would totally come back here again because of their services and knowledge!

I'm as noob as it gets with THC. I only come here to purchase for my pothead friends' birthdays. First time I came here, I was completely confused. I had no idea what I was ordering or what I was looking for, but the staff are so patient and helpful. Sativa? Indica? Hybrid?!!? Someone help me... and there they were! Over time, I've become more accustomed to the terminology, and now I can say I can order gummies and cookies confidently. Thank you so much Caliva for guiding me through my journey through this side of the world I have never touched. Y'all are awesome!

5 Stars for Sanji(please excuse if I misspell). Stuck to what I was interested in, didn't try to up-sell me or "bang the drum" on inventory they needed to push. Was honest about why he did not prefer particular brands, but still gave the most popular choice as asked. Knew his shit! From one customer service rep to another, this guy rock! Top brands I've trusted for a time... Can vouch the vape cartridges are top shelf without getting too over-priced compared to other dispensaries around. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. Decent amount of people in line but there were plenty of budtender's so I was in/out in less than 20 minutes (including registering an account as a part of my first visit).

I would love to give Caliva a 5 star. I think they have great products, nice selections and user friendly services. However I placed and order at 5 o'clock in an afternoon and didn't get the product delivered until 12 pm that night. I would like to praise the delivery service for being that committed however the customer service side of the business was not too understanding or apologetic about the timed delivery. I still would recommend the products and facility just slightly disappointed on customer service side. I find myself to be a very understanding person when it comes to these things but just saddened by how I was treated. Once again saluting the midnight delivery driver you were so committed to the cause!

This place had me like I was a Ganja farmer. Felt like I was going into a restaurant not picking up some Herb.  From my first walk into the doors  signing up on the kiosk and then being greeted at the front desk it was different. Image being in New York City and ur street dealer greets you so pleasantly and wants to indulge in a Conversation with you, not that I have ever brought weed  on the streets in NYC which is totally illegal, shh. Then you enter  after being buzzed in and  your herb specialist pulls out jar after jar after jar. Your just smelling and reading and watching all these wonderfully grown specimens. Your there thinking what kind of mood  do you want to put your self into.  Then you get home and your relaxed and you roll up and  after a couple hits your toasted and you saying hey maybe it's me cause I don't smoke frequently, but then you invite your boy who smokes like everyday and you let him try some from this spot and his eyes red and he toasted you know the shit good.

Chris was so helpful! Considering the stress of working and interacting with the public during a pandemic it's even more impressive how much Chris went out of their way to help me.

This place is awesome, the delivery is speedy and friendly. Donald Burh did my delivery and not only did he get here quick, he also waited ten minutes for me to see his texts, which was especially helpful because my phone died just before he got there. I thought for sure he'd be gone when I turned it back on and saw a ten minute old text, but he was still there! I also didn't have all the Cash on me like I thought I did (batting 10,000 today, clearly) but Donald waited for me to run to the atm at the corner store. What a great guy!  :)

I don't go to many dispensaries but Caliva wins my business lately!!  I am thoroughly impressed with their easy to use online ordering.  I have found that many dispensaries have difficult online ordering, and many don't work 1/2 the time.  Caliva is different.  Love what you guys have done!  It is so easy to place an order, and within about 30 mins you get an email that your order is ready! They have set up a separate line if you need to go inside to pick it up, or you can have them bring it out to your car.  The only downside to my order is when I wanted to tip my fabulously friendly budtender, Jill D. and she informed me that she can't take cash tips.  We can thank Covid-19 for that!!  Caliva, please do something great for Jill..she deserves it!...and for that I will keep coming back to place my orders with Caliva!!  way to go!

This was the first time I'd been to a dispensary.  They have a lot of security which might be a turn off to some, but I found it comforting. They are set up safely for CoViD. The facility itself is very nice.I knew generally what I wanted which was a systemic CBD product for chronic arthritis pain. Stone was very respectful and helpful. I'm sure most people come there looking for THC products, but Stone was very professional in getting me what I wanted. I bought CBT 30:1 capsules and drops. The products are working great and I am very happy. Now that I know what I want, next time I'll order online and do the pick up.

What can I say?! Miranda is amazing! She gives  great recommendations for pain relieving strains, which is amazing for someone with chronic pain like myself. And if you ever have questions or concerns about edibles, Miranda is definitely the person to talk to, her knowledge is extensive. Caliva is just amazing. They have a ton of variety, from the best benefit cost to the luxury brands. They also have an outstanding treating with people. Today i was attended by this brazilian girl named Kiara and she was great. Definately a place that world spending some time.

Went in to help a family member pick out something to help her with pain.  The staff was amazing and the place looked like a "high" end spa.The employees were very knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process.  The customers mostly looked older or like they had a disability.  It wasn't scary or weird at all.  Just like being in line at a pharmacy.

I love that you guys carry the Lagunitas Hi Hops! My delivery company doesn't carry them, so I came in and grabbed a bunch. Miranda was really helpful, and recommended me a good indica, as wellas some good gummies I'd never seen before. I'll definitely be back!

10/10 delivery service. I've never actually been here but this place is hands down the best delivery service I've experienced. $50 minimum is very generous, quick email&text confirmations with each step of order fulfillment (only really mentioning this because I felt like I had issues with this elsewhere), and they've never gotten my order wrong (ok my orders are fairly small so it's hard to get it wrong). Yeah the products may cost a little more than other places, and they don't have any big regular discount promos on the products I enjoy, but I've never been disappointed here and that's what counts for me. One day I'll make the trek out there when covid is over, but until then, this is my go-to delivery service.

This review is being written for the staff at Caliva. Nearly every interaction with a driver, curbside deliverer, or bud tender has been pleasant. One particular member stands out to me and that's Dany. That's my girl!! She's knowledgeable about the products and genuinely wants to find you the best one for your needs, not up sell you by any means, I brought my mom in to Caliva, her first time ever at a dispensary and we both had a memorable encounter with Dany servicing us. She was super sweet to my mom, made us laugh and we remembered her until I ran into her again a year later. It's moments like that and people like that that keep you returning to a business. Dany is patient, and she is real with me. I appreciate her style as a bud tender and I must say, I look forward to seeing her again when I stop back in to purchase inside. Thank you Dany, for being you! :) keep on doin' what you're doin' cuz you're doin' it right, my friend! A beautiful soul for sure. I hope you get the pleasure of having her as your bud tender as well.

"For edibles and flowers, all sales are final." I should've asked before buying.It's hard to find the right CBD:THC ratio from scratch, and zero return policy makes that even harder. What am I supposed to do with these remaining nineteen of twenty 1:1 gummies that didn't work for my pain management needs, which I would've readily exchanged for the 2:1 package?

I was going here for a curbside pick up. Everything was going well, until my car started not working. I asked security for help, but unfortunately they were busy. However, the person who dropped off my pick up, Stone, saved me. It was worth a shot just to ask for help, but he was more than willing to do so. He literally took the time out to bring his car and help me jumpstart it. He helped me through until my car was ready. I just want to compliment your guys' service and the extraordinary service that Caliva's workers provide. I have used the online service and in person to ask questions and just the overall communication is great. Stone really helped me out a lot. He went above and beyond. To sum it up (going back to Caliva) this place is my go to. I have been going here for about a year now. I would recommend it not only for what they are known for, but also their overall service is top notch (whether you have questions about what to get or you have an emergency... like I did lol).

Every time I go in I stare at the plastic plant wall.  Then I rub my wooden coin.  When I get home I even medicate while listening to Big Pimpin but it still doesnt make the flower as strong as the other dispensaries.  Is there a fancy restroom I missed?

So I've been a customer with Caliva for a little over a year now. Began ordering their delivery during the start of lockdown, and more recently started visiting their SJ location. Their delivery is fantastic, timely, and I never had an issue with finding something worthwhile with their online inventory (Reef leaf is always a favorite with them). As for their in-person staff at their SJ location, just wow! Guards at the front are always super professional and courteous, the front desk is always extremely kind and pleasant, and their salespersons are incredible. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient, I've never had a less than stellar experience with them (if there were a six star option, I'd give it in a heartbeat). After roughly 50x deliveries, and at least half a dozen in person visits, all I can say is this place is wonderful. Great selections, amazing service, wonderful people. Kudos to Caliva and every person working with them!! :)

First time using Delivery (which is Free w a $50 pretax minimum) -- and I am very impressed with the speed helpfulness of the staff. I used the online chat to confirm the order was in transit and Leo responded immediately, and my delivery man Steve Q. was super gracious and helpful since it was the first time I was going through the deliver process. I appreciate the delivery team in particular right now during this pandemic. Clara J and Matthew really treated me kindly and were prompt and efficient. I did have one incident where my order was lost and not delivered for a couple days, and so I wasn't able to get what I originally ordered. I do wish you could collect points for delivery, especially right now since we can't physically go in the store. I think all orders placed via delivery since March should retroactively get the points they would have received from a physical store visit.

I'm only giving them a 1 out of 5 stars due to one experience I had which happened to be my last experience. I have been an avid shopper at caliva, and even know some of the staff. I go there a lot!. So I went in about a 2 weeks or so ago (my regular biweekly visit). I bought 2 caliva airpro cartridges (full gram). Mind you I buy this brand because their own workers recommended it to me and it's their own personal brand. Anyway, I buy 2 cartridges then head home. From shopping there before I know you can exchange the cartridge if its faulty and one of the ones I recieved was faulty. Mind you I bought 2 so by the time I realized my 2nd one was faulty was after I finished my first cartridge so I called them and due to the whole fact of covid19 and the extremely long lines they had at the time and asked if I can return it after it does down a bit, the person on the phone said they would allow me to exchange it no problem. Well today I walk in to get my exchange, instead the manager who was a woman with glasses at the time told me she cant exchange it, even though it's their own personal brand and it was faulty. Not like I broke it or misused it, it was brand new and faulty. Anyway the lady said she cant do a return because its 3 days late and my only option was to pay another 45 dollar to get another one discounted so I did. None of this would have happened if I just got a working one, and I tried to tell her that, I came in to buy a working cartridge, I paid for a cartridge that was faulty no fault of my own and then I was penalized and had to pay another 45 to get a working one. Unacceptable!! Your manager wouldnt even work with me, even though it wasnt my issue. Terrible communication between staff. One person says it's okay, I show up, manager said no. I will not be shopping in this location again. White fire from now on I guess.

This was once a negative review but Rebecca from Caliva made everything right.  She was very transparent about some craziness in their system around the time I last made an order and I was able to get curbside pick up the same day.  I've been going to Caliva for some time now, and their product has always been top-notch, and the second to last delivery experience I had with them was very good, the driver was a pretty nice guy.  I'm at least glad I can light one up during the pandemic.

I've been in here a couple times now. I like that they have the "flower hour" 10% off M-F. I always take advantage when a place does that. So far I've loved the flower I've gotten here. I also like that they're carrying the 4:1 care by design drops. I do wish they'd carry the wonder drops 2:1. I hate driving all the way to airfield for them...hint hint ;) My only "pro tip" would be to park farther from the light on Phealan st, or however it's spelled. It's easier to back out. I've had the same bud tender both times, nice guy, long hair, beanie. Nice to have a bud tender that's not oblivious, knows his stuff, and is super friendly.

Karley was my bud tender and was very knowledgeable of there products. I also like how the company is ran. Clean and organized.  Karley was very helpful. I will be going back for more meds.

I want to take some time to thank 3 incredible people that work for Caliva in San Jose Ca. First off Cecil the security officer was a blast to talk to during my wait to get in (super nice guy and did his job well keeping everyone safe during this whole covid situation). Then I had the pleasure to meet Alina at the front desk. She gave me superb recommendations with regards to her favorite strains! She didn't rush me and went above and beyond to help me with my specific questions. And Finally Stone! He was an awesome bud tender that also gave excellent recommendations not only with flower but edibles to mix with the flower! Probably the worst dispensary I've ever visited long long long slow line the people there don't really like to help you more like what do you want and get lost with was my first time there and sadly will be my last not from the area but saw this place had good reviews but turned out to be BUMMY :(

Just did my first online order. Chris from their orders dept called b/c I was buying proprietary cartridges as well as a new 510 battery and he wanted to make sure I understood that the proprietary cartridges wouldn't fit the 510. Caliva stole $32 (+tax) from me.They're good... until you need them to act like a Reputable Business.Placed an order for delivery early Wednesday afternoon, the guy showed up 6 hours later. The receipt looked okay, I got upstairs, opened the bag, and saw they missed one of the items I paid them for.I immediately tried contacting them... sent numerous emails, left messages on their website "support" chat. Not a single response.Late Thursday morning I finally got ahold of someone over chat. No apologies for messing up my order, he actually seemed annoyed that they'd have to deliver it.They finally committed to delivering it Thursday and... nothing. Nadda.It's now Friday afternoon. Not a single response to any of my follow-up messages.Yes, Caliva stole $32 (+tax) from me. The worst part; I paid in cash.DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE -- If you insist on rolling the dice with them, use your debit card, DO NOT GIVE THEM CASH. At least that way, if they scam you as they did me, you can contact your bank's fraud department.I'm not going to waste my time taking them to Small Claims Court for $32 (+ tax), so I'm left with Yelp and the complaint I just filed with the California Better Business Bureau. Sigh.

I went to pick up my mobile order today from Caliva and Tori was super helpful. She made my pick up fast and even informed me that they were having a major sale for their fourth birthday! I decided to pick up an additional item with my purchase since the deal was a steal! I'm talking away one star only because the sale prices are not reflected on their website so I still ended up paying full price for one of my items even though it was apart of the sale. Customer service goes a long way. And that starts at the door. My first time visiting to get a pickup order so totally lost upon arrival since they have two different lines.  After waiting to get to the front I find out I'm in the wrong line and I need to go to the back of the other line because I have a pickup order. Security needs to fix their attitude and direct people as they arrive instead of being rude to the customers like it's their job to know everything. I ordered online to make pickup simple and in return got even worse service by the security. So i just canceled my order and went to CA Collective just down the street.  They had awesome trees at amazing prices without the headache.  You guys really need go step your game up.

I had the passion fruit gummy's so good. You can still taste the stuff though.  The place was really organized. And the workers were very informative.

No kidding, I never intended to visit let alone buy anything from a "dispensary".  Laws change and my son needed some CBD oil after wisdom teeth extractions.What a terrific, safe experience.  A very secure large facility located conveniently near the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. Everyone we dealt with at Caliva was friendly, professional and answered our questions without pressure.I came here because a friend of mine used to work here.  I was surprised by the well-run business presenting quality products at fair prices.

Update: I just left crying after visiting on my birthday. Every time I go in they have trouble with my medical discount and this time after working with them to update my profile for a third time, they still over charged me and made me feel like it was my fault. As a side note, I must irritate them because they didn't give me the $20 in 2020 coupon before and didn't give me the taco token this time. I started having an anxiety attack, so I couldn't stay anyway  I signed  up with Caliva years ago but never rated them because it would have been a 2 at best. After I signed up, I only went back once. This is mostly because their prices are generally higher on the items I want but also because my budtender was pretentious. I tried again a week later, and the same thing happened. The budtender made me feel like I was talking to a Nordstrom's  sales lady while wearing my k-mart pant suit. I'm not cheap but I do appreciate value and I don't think I should be shamed for that. Consequently I haven't returned. Caliva finally had a sale that I couldn't pass up, so I made an online order and trudged back hoping that I could get in and out without issue. When I got there, the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful, though she did forget to get my medical ID on my account. Karley helped me finish my order and was SUPER helpful. Though they were busy, she was calm and willing to answer my questions. My order was packed missing two items, which she retrieved quickly and without issue. When getting my total, I asked about my CA medical discount, which many places forget to give me. She told me the front should have done it but hadn't, and she would help me fix it immediately. At most places, I get flack from the budtender for asking to make sure my total is correct. Karley was not only quick and efficient when getting the discount applied to my order, but also did so with wonderful customer service. I will consider coming back to Caliva because if Karley.

'm a huge stoner and use their delivery service every 3 or so days and my usual drivers, Clara J, Esmail, Jason, and Raylene, are always quick and courteous. Today Raylene was my driver and she was on it, had paytender all loaded, ready to go, and delivery was a beeeze. Update: had Clara J on 2/29, arrived in a timely manner and delivery was completed shortly after. 10/10 would recommend.

I came here on Saturday and was helped by Jen. She was knowledgable and patient. I have been struggling with some sleep, depression, and other issues and did not want to purchase products with a high THC content. She recommeded CBD and was so through with her recommendations and chill. I purchased all she suggested and I really appreciate the advice, non-judgemental vibe, and over experiece. Ya'll if you're a 30 something year old needing some holistic help come here and ask for Jen.

First time ordering online. The process was super easy and delivery was quick. Michael delivered my order and he was super nice, courteous, and informative. He knocked softly on my door, instead of ringing the bell - that was cool since it didn't rile up my puppies. He handed my stuff, processed payment and we were chatting like old friends. Honestly, this was the best delivery service I've ever encountered.

I still come here at least once a month and even during this pandemic because of Jenn. She's the best bud tender and has so much knowledge. I always ask for her to help and this time, I did the curbside pick up for the first time and she was a great help again. Never a let down and will always go back even coming from the East Bay.

Placed an order for delivery at 6:50pm with NO NOTICE that they would not be accepting deliveries after 6:30pm. I only found out because I happened to be browsing the site again. If I hadn't accidentally stumbled on this info, I would have been left not high and very dry. I called to cancel but no one would answer, just a very slow talking robot. So when they inevitably show up tomorrow, lol no one will be here except vicious man flesh hungry dogs.Also, I was in here about one week ago on memorial day for the hyped advertisements for the 1c prerolls, spent $50 and they didn't even have any...pretty shady if you ask me. Tried to offer me a mask instead... seriously? Not the first time ive been baited and switched here. This place peaked really fast, I'll never be back.

This place is ridiculous. Here is how this goes. 1-Place an online order2-Receive an email that confirms your order and highlights that you will receive another email confirmation when your order is ready which EXPLICITLY STATES that you should NOT come to the store until you receive another email confirmation telling you to come to the store. 3- Wait two hours for the confirmation email that tells you to come pick up your order. 4- Receive email stating order is ready.5- Drive to store 6- Wait in a "special online order line" while watching all the people who didn't place an order go before you7- Watch them lock the doors after an hour in the "special" line because you couldn't get in. 8-Ask a manager wtf and they blame it on "this virus."And just to make the folks that manage this place even more lame, they've now packed your order and have to restock it because they let the folks that didn't have orders packed go first. BRILLIANT! These folks need to lay off their own product and learn how to manage a business. GO TO AIRFIELD. They actually know how to run a store. Damn JayZ Carter- I thought you might be a pro but instead your shit is a mismanaged mess.

I've used this company for delivery several times and they're always timely, super nice and easy to communicate with. Delivery drivers are always super nice and friendly as well. This is the only service I use and will continue recommending it. Just had a delivery last night as a no contact delivery (cuz duh, corona) and Connor was wearing gloves and very professional. 10/10 will use again

Overall it was quick service which is always appreciated. This was my second time back and the receptionist logged me in with no problem and let me thru the door. The line went quickly because they are well staffed - love it. Thomas was the one who helped me and offered me several alternatives as well as which products he recommends for the best price. I only go in for CBD products with the lowest THC for its calming effects without the psychoactive properties. The Dose pen in "calm" does it for me, and Thomas showed me the new 200 "dose" version of the pen, which I am considering for my next visit. On my way out Jess answered some remaining questions that I had and made further recommendations about CBD products that I might like to try. She's the best!Overall, amazingly professional place and that's why I came back!

Good delivery service, but I find out while the driver was en route that their debit card reader was not working--I needed to have cash. (I don't use cash, don't have easy access to a cash machine.) In the past I have used my debit card, and had NO problems. I did have their "accepted" type card.Emilio was very apologetic and super nice. Props to him. Would be 5 stars except for the card read/cash problem.Caliva needs to tell about the card reader problem before the order is complete.

I can't believe I'm doing this but I have to give a bad review of this place. My wife and I have been coming here for a long time, I've even got 5 of my friends to also become regulars. The service used to be great, very knowledgeable and personable. In the last couple of months I've noticed a slow decline in my experiences here. I've kept coming back bc I love the products, I have points stored up, and it's 10 minutes away. After yesterday I think my wife and I are going to look for a new dispensary. It was the last straw for us, since this is the third bad experience we've had in a row, all with different staff members, but all along the same vein. I understand that Caliva is growing and undergoing changes. I'm fine with somethings coming and other perks going. What bothers me is the apathetic attitude of a staff member who acts like I should know about things like that already. For example: the new payment system, the treat sheet being discontinued, and products being out of stock.That brings me to my next point; last night. Ok so I place an online pick up order. Sadly most of the stuff I wanted was out of stock, but oh well, I chose the closest item to what I was looking for. I got a confirmation email saying both items would be ready for pick up. My wife did the same. We arrived to pick up the order and I was handed my bag but my wife wasn't handed hers yet. When I asked her what she ordered, she said it was a cartridge by Fun Uncle. Only then did the employee helping us mention "Oh we're out of that, sorry". Okay, weird, not sure why we were able to place an order for it online if it's out of stock, but, fine. We got something else, I paid for the orders and we left.I get in my car and open the bags to check that everything is there bc something with the price felt off. Sure enough, one of the things I ordered wasn't there. So we go back in to get it, and another employee is there. I explain that they missed one of my items and she tells me flatly that it's out of stock. I ask about a comparable product and she repeats that what I'm looking for is out of stock. Sigh. While I'm being rung in for a 4th choice item, I mention that they probably should've said something to us earlier so I didn't have to come back. The girl answers me in a clipped tone saying "it should say in your email". Well no, it didn't actually. And that's a stupid response since it shouldn't be available to order online if it isn't in the store. After we left I realized that they would've done the same thing to my wife had she ordered more than just the Fun Uncle cart. It's on you guys to inform customers if what we order isn't available. Then my wife told me the exact same thing had happened on her last visit, the guy helping her was rude when he shrugged and replied that they hadn't missed the item, it was simply out of stock and that no, it wasn't online, so she must not have ordered it.Well I'm here to tell you that yes, she had placed that order, I saw the confirmation email. Just like the one I got last night, and no, we didn't get a cancellation email. Two of my friends who also come here have also had similar experiences lately so it's not just us. I don't know what changed here at Caliva that affected the guest experience so much but jeez, it's gotten steadily worse. The lack of product availability is also an issue, now that I know what I like, I'm just going to look elsewhere if Caliva can't keep it in stock. I'm really disappointed to say that we probably won't be returning :(

They just can't get an order right. It took over 24 hours for them to get us the order, and then half of it was missing (although they didn't charge us for what was missing). I have never seen them get it completely correct.

First time here and it was great. Starting with the security guard to the tenders, everyone was polite and respectful. Bud-tender was super chill and answered my questions, they also gave me suggestions after seeing my indecisiveness and I was able to pick up a couple things of my liking. On the way out, the security guard politely acknowledged us and sent us off with a classic deuce sign, leaving me with a great first experience at Caliva. I will be back for those purps!

The cartridge that i bought yesterday looks like it has been used and put it back in the box. It has been resealed and the cartridge doesn't look full. Not sure if this is Caliva's fault or ABX.Update: I was there yesterday to get a replacement and the Manager i spoke to was rude. I showed them the cartridge my friend bought for me and compared it to the same cartridge. Manager said "they look the same" look at the photo i took and you decide if it's the same. I will never come back here ever again.

Caliva appears to be a reputable business. Conversely however, they carry products from other vendors which are sub par. I purchased OM Elixirs Cannabis CBD Tincture. Its packaging is cheap but the price isn't. The dropper of which you are to take a 'dropper full' can barely be opened with out twisting out the plastic under casing. Once finally opened, the dropper itself has no measure indicator. Nor can you actually fill the dropper as scantily stated on the label where it should say 'directions for use'. If that weren't enough, the bottle doesn't close right.Lastly, it does not help for pain.My thoughts are Caliva should stick to their own Tinctures and not sell for OM.

Well let me start by saying prices are reasonable good product lot of varieties although for some reason they keep getting my phone number wrong and I keep having to try to fix it who first they told me they were 11 minutes away the limited 15 minutes away and then they never showed up so I called them and they said the phone number was wrong but how could that be if there was sending me text messages the last two eight were short not 3.5 but 3.3 so won't be buying from them again and web site is glitchy to bad did like it if you short your customers thay won't be for long sorry bout that

First time here and I'm the kind of person that wants to know what I'm getting into.. that being said, KASEN was very helpful and explained the products clearly. I explained to him that I have trouble sleeping at night and struggle with a bit of anxiety. Ended up leaving with Kiva chocolate, pineapple gummies and a  50-dose pen.

I'm so sick of you guys. Your online service is absolutely horrible. You have the same problem for weeks and you refuse to fix it. Every damn time I order online it says my email or password is invalid it won't let me change the password. Then I have to call you guys and go through the same idiotic thing over and over. 1. Change your password - already did it doesn't work won't let me.2. We don't take orders over the phone so we'll have to try something else. - great so you won't help me.3. Well that didn't work let's delete your account and get you to try and make another account. - okay like we haven't been through this three times already.4. That didn't work either I guess I will have to take your order over the phone. - yeah like I told you in the beginning but thanks for wasting 30 minutes.It will be fixed by next time...Well b******* because this is the fourth time and I'm not wasting another 30 minutes trying to order from a company that doesn't care enough to do something about it weeks ago!Screw you guys!

Absolutely horrible online customer service Murphy wrote that times are bad right now and there is nothing we can do . I placed and order and was told it was on the way. I even got an ETA and 30 mins later got sent another message saying it would be another 1:30mins. I only live 28 mins away and with it being covid season there is not much traffic. Would not recommend this place for delivery!!!!

This is my go to dispensary in San Jose. Parking can be a problem sometimes, depends on the time of day. But other than that I have nothing bad to say about this place. The service is great, the staff is knowledgeable and nice, the inside is nice and clean. With COVID 19 running wild the place has changed obviously. Be prepared to wait in the lobby for a little bit as they only let a certain amount of people inside, and that's understandable. They have a good range of products that changes here and there. I stick with edibles and vaping so that's my forte. If you've never been here, be sure to check it out sometime

Just back to reiterate given the news about people dying from vaping cartridges with a bunch of ADDITIVES in them.Caliva uses additives so they can pretend their products are not crap. If the base terpenes suck - GROW BETTER WEED - don't add crap that neither you or anyone else can say we should be inhaling. Why not just stick to the natural extract and be done? The answer is lack of human decency. Lack of human excellence. No other reason to make a THC slurry to mix with essential oils as opposed to growing good weed...is there?

Who needs waiting in line for over an hour then to be subjected to rude rent-a-cops and receptionists? What's interesting is the folks at Caliva don't think the six foot distancing rule applies to them. The receptionists sit side-by-side and the rent-a-cops hang out in very close proximity while they employ their orders. I got fed up and went to CA Collective at 210 Phelan. Great products at competitive prices and much nicer people who really appreciate your business. Forget Caliva. It just shows you what happens when you give directives to otherwise powerless people.

I went for first time to dispensary. A bit nervous, Budtender Miranda made me feel completely at ease. Her knowledge was so helpful and I left with some creams for my aching feet and back and some gummies to try. Thank you Miranda!

i had a very bad experience not human service at all i brought 5 bags of pots from the the in side store when you should have expert people but she gave me a shit product and garbage that even animals will not get nearby not recommending to no one to have that experience like i had

I've only ever had pleasant experiences with Caliva. I gravitate towards the edibles and I've always been able to find vegan and non chocolate options. Apparently there's edible Thursday where you get 10% off your bill. There's also a nice point system that you can redeem for free product. You get 20 points per visit - I just redeemed 120 points for macaroons - coincidentally my favorite product.

If you come you have to ask for Mila, she'll make sure your weed needs are fulfilled indeed. Super helpful, super friendly, she even hooked a newbie up with some goodies for the next time I come by. 10/10Would come by again just to hear that giggle lol

This place is amazing! Recently moved to the area with my girlfriend and we came across this place on Yelp, decided this would be a good first dispensary in the area to try with how close it is and with all the good ratings. Everyone was super helpful and friendly my first time going into the store which made it a very pleasant experience. The store is huge and they have a wide variety of selections, which is awesome. I've become a regular with deliveries recently and haven't had a problem yet! The delivery drivers, Michael, Sean K and Gabe J, have all been very nice. Tonight's driver, Gabe, surprised me with how quick he was! My ETA was roughly one hour and I got my delivery in half that time! Keep up the good work Caliva, you guys never disappoint!

I was super busy and decided to try out a delivery service. It was so easy and most importantly so convenient!!! I just picked what I wanted online and courier delivered all my essentials straight to my door! My courier Emiliano was very nice and professional. Everything was packed in locked ziplock. Definitely will use this service again!

Caliva is a very professional place, it is clean and has great employees--from the security guard to the front desk ladies to Tatiana S who recommended some incredible products. I can't say enough good things! I will be a returning customer! If Tatiana's boss reads this, give her a raise!!!! She is so helpful, informational, and very kind!

Placed an order and it was confirmed for delivery at 6pm today. Called 3 times over 5 hours and each time the guy said The delivery was delayed but would still happen. Then I called 20 minutes after the final time he said the delivery would happen and no one answered. 6 hours after my delivery was confirmed, and they can't even reach out for an update or tell me it's been cancelled. With so many other options I'd suggest going literally anywhere else.

Great service, excellent product, reasonable prices. I enjoy the atmosphere as well as the displays. Caliva makes it easy for me to manage my sleep and stress.

Excellent support. I love Caliva Products, specially the AiroPro. Full grams are great, however halfgrams burn really quick and are too expensive. I got into online support and Faye helped me. She explained they didn't have fullgrams at the moment but she was very nice to get my info and let me know when there is news. Please bring back AiroPro!

Been placing orders through Caliva for a few months now. They have always been amazing with quality, customer service and accessibility. I usually get delivery orders and every driver has been wonderful. Tonight, I met a driver I hadn't had before and was SO pleased. His name was Emiliano! He was super nice! Texted me updates the whole way to let me know what was going on. When he arrived, he was very polite, fast and efficient. All while making small talk during the payment process. This was my first experience going to any dispensary and honestly it was so much nicer than I expected! Kat helped my boyfriend and I choose the different things we wanted. I went there for edibles and had one specifically in mind that they were able to find in their store. I wasn't sure exactly what edibles I wanted and Kat was super helpful in pointing me in the right direction. After getting home, I tried to open one of the items and was having a really tough time and was honestly thinking that it was just a really hard child lock. I ultimately ended up bringing it back and turns out the mechanism to open it was busted and they were so nice and helped me just exchange it for a new one that would open right there!Thank you Kat & Caliva staff for the great customer service!!

Always very nice people when walking in and ordering . Good advice on what to get and awesome suggestions .Quality items all the time . I'm a regular so I enjoy my visit every single time . You get reward points . For holidays they usually do something fun outside or inside with fun snacks and prizes . Always great parking . Don't mind waiting while busy because it's more time to choose what you want .  Inside is very clean and doesn't make you feel like your stuffed up or doing something wrong. Some clubs have gates and bars and this one is very nice and smooth

Had a recent order for a family member ordered and delivered within a few hours. Gabe was the delivery man, and he did a great job keeping us updated on his ETA via text, and making sure we had the proper payment info in place to make for a quick and efficient delivery. We were very pleased with the service both Gabe and Caliva provided. To receive an order placed on line in a few hours is excellent service!

Another highly rated review for this dispensary from me to the community! My wife and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Caliva and its staff. Inside is like another realm from the outside and is always kept clean and cool. The bud tenders and staff, including security, are always so welcoming and friendly, but this review in particular goes out to Kasen.He is always so calm and very helpful. He is quick to respond and he pays close and personal attention to what loyal customers, like my wife and I, would go to when searching for products. He displayed excellent customer service on our last online order/pick-up that made my wife and I feel like our loyalty was sincerely acknowledged and appreciated.To all Caliva staff, keep up the wonderful work and kindness that's clearly displayed every time we enter the store. Admission: I've never used Yelp before. I always figured people either exaggerate bad experiences or hyperbolize pleasant ones. But then I had a really great experience at this establishment. It's refreshing to go to a dispensary and converse with someone who really knows what they are talking about. Ben is that person. It's one thing to make a great recommendation, but it's rarer when the product does exactly what the budtender told me it would do. After many times of the opposite happening, I'll be returning for sure. Also, finding the right edible can be difficult for many reasons. Chelsea's recommendation was spot on because it tasted really good, and her dosage rec was spot on. You can tell both Chelsea and Ben are passionate about sincerely helping people. Thanks y'all.I wouldn't be a yelp user without one complaint, but it doesn't really affect  the overall experience: the parking lot is not ideal, especially not leaving.  Service made up for any inconvenience of that aspect.

First time visit yesterday and was really amazed at the wonderful customer service and good vibes.  We were assisted by Karley, she absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable.  My boyfriend was looking for edible with only CBD to help with pain, and I was looking for a mix - something for pain and sleep, one that will help me focus and also something fun. Karley listened to our needs and what we were requesting.  She showed us items matched our request and also gave us other options and explained the benefits.  Karley is well educated, compassionate and super sweet

Hi y'all! So first off I loved the atmosphere of this shop! I'm from Seattle and just moved down here a month ago and my coworker brought me down. You gotta sign up for your first time visiting, but it's very painless and just takes a couple minutes. Now on to the experience. Fantastic. EVERYONE is friendly. Granted, yes it's their job to be "friendly" and whatnot but it seemed genuine to me. Raju (please forgive me for my spelling it wrong. I left the paper at home) was hella dope. Seemed like once conversation got rolling and if you ask for his genuine opinion on the products, his face lit up and he just starts pulling out his favs. The only thing I was disappointed about was the fact that there's no tip jars....but he explained if I did this it would help. This is my first review from TONS of people telling me to leave a yelp review. HOOK RAJU UP. Everyone else. Have fun and enjoy the folks down there. Good selections and not bad prices at all!

This review goes to Jill, I've been to this location several times & although everyone is helpful, my dad has had a hard time finding a product that would ease his chronic pain, I asked Jill what product she would recommend & although I didn't buy it right away, I took that advice into consideration, I finally came in with my dad & after only ONE recommendation from her, she go it !!! I've both visited in-person and have had a delivery from Caliva. Great customer service, especially for the delivery! They promptly called me when they let me know that they weren't able to make the delivery the night of because of high volume (understandable) and were able to reschedule me to next morning. They also called me when one of the items I ordered wasn't in stock anymore and were able to offer me a similar replacement item (and charged me the price of the replacement item instead). They even provided a promo code to me for the inconvenience. Highly recommended!

Caliva is a quality dispensary with the most kind, considerate staff who really know their products.  I recently had a curbside order and just because I had to wait a few minutes longer, Miranda and Karley gave me a 20% discount!  Really, the wait was brief but this just shows the quality and care that is placed on customer service.  This is the best place to shop especially during this pandemic.

I wanted to recognize an excellent bud tender there (Miranda) and it actually is the second time I have had her assistance during these pandemic times. First, Caliva is a great location, all the staff are friendly and helpful from the security guard out front, to check in, to the budtenders. Miranda even recognized my crocheted facemask that my wife made and it had been at least two weeks since my last visit. Great service from Miranda who recommended some great deals and went searching for a specific CBD cream I was looking for. Top notch location and IT IS LOCAL!

Upon making my order I received a call saying one of the items I had purchased was sold out. The gentleman on the phone was very quick to help me find something similar and to my liking. My delivery driver was Michael(mike)..he was very polite and answered a few questions I had with ease. He was extremely knowledgeable of the caliva brand and standard which I really liked as I felt even more comfortable with choosing caliva. Staff is very rude I always have to wait at least 45min on top of waiting for there text to say it's ready, spoke to the online rep and they were arguing with me and had the nerve to send pictures of there screens just to reveal that they were in the wrong . And every time I ask for a manager they are always busy . Bs

First time at a dispensary! This place is awesome. Everyone was super friendly. I had come by looking for a particular type of strain that a friend had left at my house a while back that I enjoyed. Jarred was a huge help and was able to find me the exact strain I was searching for - Super Glue. Definitely gonna come back, especially since it's a 5 minute drive from my house.

Just got a delivery from Caliva by Gabe J. His service was super friendly. I was using paytender for the first time and he was super helpful and made sure I had all the information correct. I appreciated the fast service especially since I hurt my back at work today and was looking for pain relief. So I ordered a few items earlier this week on Monday. By Thursday morning, I didn't get any updates where anything were (besides that everything was packed and ready to deliver), that was texted to me on Tuesday morning. Gave yesterday another shot to wait, still nada. So upon waking this morning, I messaged Caliva regarding the issue, and around 8:30am, Jane responded and quickly took action. By around 9:15am, my delivery came. I understand it's very busy and trying times for some open businesses, and we all must understand how chaotic things can be, especially with prioritizing. Communication isn't as great as it can be due to all the closures and schedule changes, but I'm satisfied because a problem was addressed, it was acknowledged, and it was taken care of immediately. Customer service is important these days, and the survival of each business is important. I'm happy to have a dispensary that communicates and serves to the highest level of excellence. I appreciate that effort. Looking forward to today with my tasty flowers. Stay blessed.

I had some friends visiting whose bucket list included going to a dispensary in CA. Caliva was the perfect place. From the Security guard in front to Chelsea (who was amazing, kind, and informative) everyone greeted us and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed our chat with Chelsea and we will definitely be coming back. Thanks so much for helping out 3 first timers!

Caliva has cultivated a nice variety of flowers themselves and has brought in Autumn Brand greenhouse buds, among others. I like the variety. So far, everything I've smoked has been flavorful and smooth. I also like that they are providing the Bhang chocolate bars. My last visit was particularly nice as Breanna helped me best utilize my 40% off special menu coupon with the holiday 30% Caliva flowers. I get to try some of the Chill chocolate and smoke some fine Blue Dream over this long weekend! Breanna did a great job helping me and I appreciate it. I recommend Caliva to my friends. The one thing I'd like to see more of is a selection of "old fashioned" and affordable bubble hash.

My bud-tender Miranda was extremely knowledgable and really went the extra mile in explaining the ins and outs of the different products and delivery methods.  Personally, I went for a combination of edibles and vape pens but she is an expert in the traditional weed flower as well.  I can't recommend Caliva and Miranda enough!

Solid atmosphere, selection, and pricing. Caliva always offers a great experience. The customer service is also on point... Yousef in particular! He is an awesome consultant if you're ever unsure about what you're looking for!

This place is a crown jewel among the other gems of the local dispensaries- seriously, don't buy your cannabis anywhere else. There are 3 reasons why this has been my go-to place for years now.. 1. The Product: Their own brand is better than some of the "top shelf" brands you see in most dispensaries, and usually cheaper than any of them too.  The range of products and brands they carry is unmatched, and most importantly the consistent-quality never falters. I've never had them be out of a product I was trying to buy. 2. The Place: These guys had their s#%t together before COVID came to town, and it was no different when new rules were imposed. The property is visibly maintained and free of trash, there are numerous cameras to provide a sense of security (as well as the always friendly security guards), and now they are very careful about how many people are in the building at one time. They also have 6ft markers to keep everyone safe as possible. Have a pretty neat mural on the side of the building too. 3. The People: This reason alone is why I only shop at Caliva. I genuinely look forward to my shopping experience with their employees, who are some of the kindest and knowledgeable folks I've encountered behind the counter. When waiting in line I often see the employees picking up trash or greeting customers as they come into work, and that's before they even clock in. Extra special props to Reina B., that woman is hands down the best budtender I've interacted with. Very down to earth, provides good info on products without pushing her own perspective like other budtenders, and always makes sure the customer has a good experience. Definitely deserves a raise or a promotion.

My fav dispensary in the Southbay! I like their wide selections of items available, ranging from CBD to THC. The place is always clean, staffs are helpful and knowledgeable, and the price is reasonable. I appreciate how they streamline the amount of people going in and out in lieu of COVID. I've emailed them a few times inquiring about products and sales, and they've always been good about responding back in a quick and timely manner. Oh yeah, they also have a nice mission statement on their websites. I will always be a customer as long I reside here.

The 'Caliva bags' are perfect for rolling and worked really well for intended effect. User can pinch and roll or Dump and Snap. Sturdy bag. Zipper harder than heck to open which I actually appreciate. Squeal of a deal. I was a little bummed they did not honor 5 Dollar discount chip they provide on initial visit as insentive for return and they did not allow a veterans discount either which they I've provided ID for and they have on file. BUT...At 19.99 who cares right? It's a quarter. THEN TRAGEDY 1 month later They raised it to 24.99Still no honoring of (2) now available discounts Then my friends...2 weeks later  They raise it to 31.00 (which after tax is $34.xx!!!!!Still no discount!!!! Then...    Then....        Then...!!!!1 WEEK LATER they LOWER the bag size to 5GRAMS!!! Not 7rams. Same price $34.xx NO VETERANS DISCOUNT NO 5$ discount chip!!!! So month and a half they doubled the price and still won't cop to the discounts I'm eligible to. Like I said ^^ employees...Have to give it up to the employees. They are all rockstars. Always engaging. Polite. Energetic. Whomever does the hiring is a great people reader.... that being said; if it's the owner (duh I guess. H/r?)  than I say... hey let's keep up the sweet customer service and tone down the prices!

This was my first time ever going to a dispensary and I had a great experience. My friends and I went here at 7pm on a Sunday night and there was no wait. We got our IDs checked at the front door, created an account, and walked in all in a few mins.Thomas was our "budtender" and was super helpful and friendly. I'm still pretty new to all of this and Thomas answered all my questions and did not make me feel stupid for asking really novice questions! He was super knowledgeable on edibles. Warning, the tax for weed in CA is hella high - like 30%, but hopefully our state uses it for something good. I don't mind paying the tax too much and it's better than getting on the streets of the jungle.

if i can do zero stars i would i am very disappointed with whoever i spoke to in my process of my delivery the app kept kicking me off and i would try and redo the order since i couldn't drive there. i tried using my $15off my order that i received on my app and never got the actual coupon code so i asked for help and they made it harder for me to understand the problem. not matter what you should have the patience to hide someone through it. but thank you to my delivery driver donald b!  so sweet and understanding and helped me right through everything since my price never changed and i let him know that when i asked in the chat they told me my new balance and i even took a screenshot of that chat and not once did he argue or gave me attitude or he didnt just get back in his car amd drove off. donald had the patience to call back to the store and know why my balance never changed! thank you so much donald and i hope that you get recognized for your amazing customer service

I first entered this well cared for, clean, modern and beautifully lit collective a few years ago.   It's very accessible for my wheelchair and everyone once there is so friendly.  It's clear they all respect their customers and their product. I chose to write today because I just got my first delivery.   Joe was sooner than predicted, patient, and took time to help me correct where I set up paytender incorrectly. The products here are great!  I've never had a single complaint about quality, inaccuracy, or a gear malfunction.   A favorite!Try the Dogwalkers!

I've been on a journey of my life trying to track down a new ABX Jeremy Fish Edition pen and wound up contacting several dispensaries hoping one would turn up. Most places just straight out said "No. Have a good day", not very helpful at all.Upon more Google research I ended up calling Caliva and spoke to a really sweet young lady named Alina. I forgot I had already contacted them, lol, but our names are so similar I recognized thatI had already asked her! Alina went above & beyond as a Customer Service Rep and did her own research, contacted other vendors and was even directed to the manufacturer but still nothing. I think if Alina hadn't been so nice, thorough and extremely helpful I would throw my phone across the room, lol, but again- her sweet demeanor and super extra help made me feel like she did everything I would have done plus more! Thank you, Alina! I'm not giving up on locating this special edition kit but I will DEFINITELY use Caliva as my source for everything else! With that kind of customer service, who wouldn't? Omg so we made our first online order for an instore pick up! I was super nervous that it would be an ordeal but it was a breeze! The staff, as always, was and is super sweet and genuine! Front desk staff was smiley as always! Lai helped us out at the pick up desk and pulled out everything we had ordered and triple checked that we had everything, super helpful! Everyone who I've interacted with is delightful. Great product. Came from Colorado and to be honest, Cali dispensaries do not stack up at all, except for Caliva. It's the closest I've found were quality and cleanliness of product is important. I'm super picky and this place is awesome. Extracts, vapes (I recommend heavy hitters), wana edibles, deli flower. It's all great.

I DO NOT AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! Just went here today for the VERY first time and while the ladies ar the front were very sweet  the budtender in the back with long hair and stretched out ear lobes, didn't get his name, was an absolute dick to my friend  He was offensive and condescending. My friend isn't very familiar with weed or which strains or mediums of it will affect his  senses or anxiety and he was asking questions and this guy was kurt and rude saying things like "didn't I just say that?" Or "what did you not understand?" He was informative and seemed to be knowledgeable but his tone was mean. Just watch out for this dude... he wasn't as mean to me because I knew a bit more about weed, still no excuse though...I won't go back, the weed better be worth it to make up for his piss poor customer service.

First time ordering delivery from here. It took a while, but they let me know when I ordered it'd be a while. The person who delivered it was super helpful since I didn't know wtf I was doing.

I ordered the other day and scheduled a delivery.  Got the confirmation, added my payment info, etc.  After that radio silence.  I contacted customer service via the site, email, and attempted to call the store.  I never heard back and never received my order.  I understand times are tough rn but communication goes a long way.

Went in twice within the last two weeks and both times not really knowing exactly what I was looking for. But luckily on each visit, Yousef and Sanju were able to help me out and they both were able to suggest a product that I will definitely buy again. Overall, each of the staff members have always been very warm and inviting and I'm thankful they're willing to take care of our needs during this difficult time.

Friendly staff, great deals on products, and the best part is that its grown, manufactured and sold on site. Their products are better than the stuff youll pay roughly double the price for in the city.

One thing I have to mention: with the exclusion of tax, You think you're paying way less than you actually are.  please include tax in the pricing of your products!!

This place has gone down the toilets. All the deals suck ass, the bud tenders have no knowledge, every time my boyfriend and I go in we end up schooling them. I have to make sure to triple check what they put in my bag because so many times they put in a cheap ass shitty eighth instead of the primo stuff I wanted. Once you leave you can't return it. I haven't been in a while because for way too long they only took cash. They are always out of your favorites plus they took away the Caliva discount cards which were pretty cool. I got an email about edibles on sale so I just called, sat in hold for 29 minutes then gave up. They hold message is annoying, it's a woman voice meeting you know someone will be with you shortly and then silence for 3 seconds. It made me want to blow my brains out. I then wen back to the website and realized all the edibles on sale were the worst ones ever. They probably just had an overstock and are trying to push them. I got to Natural Pain Relief around the corner, not as nice of a place but dope deals and great prices. Sorry Caliva, I tried to remain loyal but you have done your customers dirty. I hope you get it together soon.

Caliva has been my #1 spot for cartridges in San Jose. Their afternoon delight is perfect for a smooth smoke. This review is for the bud-tender Paula. I might love the cartridges but I especially love the consistency in service. When I walk into Caliva and catch a glimpse of Paula's smile I know I'm going to have an amazing customer experience every-time. She's highly knowledgeable of her products and is generally sweet. Remind me why I drive 45 minutes to pick up my weed instead of calling the handsome young man who delivers in my neighborhood?  I was because I liked being able to order ahead of time and get in and out quickly.  Make sure you remember that they only hold your order for so long.  I had a big order lined up, 'bout $300.  Poor Paula, my client relations manager, had to listen to me bitch for twenty minutes because they'd restocked my order.  Get in there quick, folks!  Pick it up or lose it.  But like I said, I can save an hour and a half of my own time by not bothering, and that's not only the way I'll be doing it in the future, but it's the way I recommend everyone else do it.

Youseff was a huge help, showed us everything we wanted to look at and guided us through our first time here. He really made the experience worth it. I will definitely be returned hopefully on another shift with him. Definitely need more people like youseff in the world, YOURE DOING GREAT BRO!

Additionally, he has an idea for introducing Coffee Bean "palette cleansers" - jars readily available to help customers cleanse their senses whilst sampling various flower strains. This is an excellent idea. Caliva - pay more attention to Brian.

I met this guy named Andres T who was very enthusiastic, patient,and friendly. He also answered every questions I asked, and his explanation was super clear and easy to understand. I'm very satisfied with his service as well as the product of the store.

When Caliva first opened, it was cash only. Several months ago, they started accepting debit and credit cards. Today when I went there, I was disappointed to hear that it was once again cash only. Why no more cards? The bud tender rattled off some weak and incomprehensible reason. And my purchase included over $20 in taxes! I had a 10% off card that was no longer "good" even though there was no expiration date on it.

I've not been there in person yet, but every delivery I've gotten has been great. I've had only one delivery issue months ago (over the course of many deliveries), and it was rectified immediately. Caliva.  This place looks lovely and staff are helpful HOWEVER I have had two terrible experiences with this place.  Second time I went in person they did not fulfill my entire order.  I got 1 item but the other was not in my bag when I got home and looked a few days later.  Now, I know you might be thinking someone in my household could have taken it, but it was in a location that I assure they could not.  Second issue, I got a delivery scheduled and confirmed thru email.  The driver.....just never showed up.  I have tried calling, submitting 2 different responses to customer service and yet still nothing days later.  This place has a shiny veneer but is horrible.  I rarely write reviews but this place is so ridiculous that I cant help but writing a horrible review.  If you want to have items stolen, no deliveries, no response from customer service- then I fully suggest you shop here.  THE worst!

Diane the driver is awesome! First time delivery went amazing! From start to finish I had a smooth experience. Good flower options and I loved the edibles I got. They hooked me up with two practically free house doobies with my $75 purchase they were each a penny and they threw in a free face mask. I haven't tried my product yet but I was so happy with their customer service and whole operation I came on here to brag!

5 stars for product and prices , great dispensary ...but not so with the service today. I made a joke today about weighing the eighth when I got home and the girl  behind the counter got immediately heated (no idea why) even went as far as to throw a subliminal insult and say "or you could get a hobby instead of trying to out people"..not sure if this is borne of a nervousness over me weighing it and I was actually joking about a shady business practice , or if she just didn't like me...either way I don't let my personal feelings affect my professional interactions and I expect the same of others, definitely was not looking to be insulted while I'm spending my money at their establishment

This is by far, the BEST dispensary I have ever visited. The quality of their products is still unmatched for me. But the best part about it is the staff members. My favorite thing to get from here is the super session pre rolls. I recommend it any to flower enthusiasts. A BIG shoutout to Paula and Madeline! :)

I was looking for a dispensary that carried a Moxie dart for a friend who was recovering from a motorcycle accident (pro tip: Moxie darts are pretty handicapable friendly due to the magnetic cartridge feature and flat shape!) and made the mistake of going to Theraleaf first. I tried to use my passport because my ID expired last month and the girl at the front wouldn't get off the phone to talk to me about my expired ID and valid passport. Just said 'I only take IDs.' I left and came here. It was like night and day! The front desk ladies were so nice and walked me through the first visit process. Kat ended up helping me out and she was super helpful! She even looked for the last 2 Moxie cartridges they currently had in stock. I also told her I wanted sativa gummies and flower and her recommendations were great! The weed itself was really good quality too and reasonably priced. It didn't even burn! I will definitely be back when I'm in the area! Thanks, Kat!

Caliva is the best dispensary around. They have tons of products, a clean and stylish environment, and the most welcoming staff. My budtender Akash P. was the BEST! He was very knowledgeable on alllll of their products (which must be ridiculously difficult considering their product line-up is probably double to triple that of other dispensaries in San Jose)! He did not rush me or make me feel intimidated to ask a million questions. He was friendly and really made Caliva shine. Love love love Caliva! Came in about a month ago specifically for a new vape pen. Ben and Jarred helped me  out tremendously. I told them my concerns about an old pen I had and Ben let me see all the options they had. Jarred was standing next to Ben and showed me the new Moxie pens and explained why he likes his and sealed the deal for me. Caliva is so great on so many levels, and one particular aspect that stands out is not only the wonderful products, but also the great service. I have been a returning customer for the past several years and I've seen the company grow into what it is today. Two names I will give a shout out to are Vincente and Brian! You both are wonderful employees that the company should be greatful to have because I'm always greatful when you drop of my goodies haha  I recently had an issue where a cartridge was faulty, and Cameron helped to replace this faulty cart with a new one. So thankful for their service and I will continue to be shopping with y'all.

My husband and I have frequented this place over a dozen times in this last month. OK, so, I don't have much street cred in this area, but I have had a fractured and displaced rib this past month. Yeah, it hurts to live, breathe, or move. This place saved me!! I'd leave a 5 star for professionalism, quality, and knowledge. They seem to have a better & more discrete selection of CBD & THC products than other dispensaries, and their staff is quite accommodating to troubleshooting. I do understand that some dispensaries show more "love" when measuring your order, but I believe that the pre-measured quantities have been both superior product, and fair for the prices. Overall, I find them to be trustworthy, professional, and their products and recommendations have been spot on.

Wait.... the card machine has been "broken" for a very long time. Ummmmmm.......  But don't worry they have an ATM that charges you 2.5$. So, If they  get 200 customers a day that is 500$ a day ( easy money) in a month 15$K. This is not a nice way to take the customers money who drives all the way especially to your store. Only 2 starts because this is BS since you have no sign that says cash only or we will take 2.5$ off ur order since the card machines are broken. Fix your machine dude, it has been "broken" for a long time,

First time here and it was great. Check in took about 2 minutes, possibly even less. After checking in your information on the tablet you then present your ID to the receptionist. Very simple process. After going inside the club I noticed how nice the layout is. Tori helped me find exactly what I needed. Priding themselves on a good state of energy and quality.They got this babbling brook fountain that reminds me of when I get massages so you could only imagine how soothing and relaxing this place is. Unfriendly, unhelpful, and expensive.  Reception is rude and impatient.  They answer questions with curt yes or no and do not offer any additional information on their processes, including what they do with your information.  They seem to despise their customers for wasting their time and have no interest in being a part of the social or chemical education surrounding marijuana use or legislation.When I come in to drop a couple hundred dollars with your business, I expect a little more than eye rolling from a aloof and distracted employees who would clearly rather be elsewhere.  You may have a corner on the market now, but customer service will eventually be a factor in the success of your business, and as of now, you are doing a very poor job of it.  Strive to be professional.

I've never been to a dispensary before, but a friend of mine mentioned Caliva and had nothing but great things to say about it. It was a very pleasurable and easy experience! A security guard checks your ID before you enter, and the individuals at the front desk in the waiting room check your ID again before letting you into the BudRoom. Both of them asked if it was my first time, and told me what I needed to do once I was inside. The budtender, Chris, helped me out and patiently answered every single question I had regarding both medical use for joint pain as well as recreational use. She was extremely helpful and detailed, and since I'm new to dispensaries, she made me feel very comfortable to ask even the silliest questions! Caliva is very clean and super aesthetic, the website is easy to use and they also can deliver to you. I will definitely be back!

The prices were still cheaper than other places nearby and the products I bought have all been great. Not for me. If you want a dispensary that focuses on their brand and look, this place is for you. They've got all the bells and whistles locked down on their look and maybe that's why they had the audacity to charge over $45 for a vape cartridge? All that branding doesn't come cheap! I've been here twice now--the first time a year ago and I was hesitant to come back then due to the steep prices. My last trip sealed their fate in my book; I had a positive check in experience and then paid over $95 for two vape cartridges--both of them halfs...I can go down the street to a couple of dispensaries and get a full gram for $60 tax included. What's up with that Caliva? I'd be less disappointed if the quality were there...but it simply isn't. This place is a joke and definitely the self-proclaimed "best dispensary" in the Bay Area. Use your money to invest in better product lines and not on a flashy exterior. It's not all about looks, guys! Head down the block to Natural Herbal, White Fire, Harborside, Haze or even Airfield by the airport...literally any other place but this one. You'll get more bang for you buck, that's for sure!

Went in for sleep gummies and unfortunately they were out of stock but a super helpful consultant, Rebecca, spent time introducing me to a tincture remedy that has worked great. Come here often, service is always good! Was serviced by Kasen James today and it was the best experience I have had so far. He was very helpful & knowledgeable about the products he was talking about. I went in looking for edibles and he gave me alot of good feedback about some of the products. Thomas was really knowledgeable about the promotions and different kinds of cartridges. Not everyone is well versed on brand styles and knowing compatibility between vape pens. The whole store was also really clean and inviting! I also love that they accept debit and aren't cash only.

Went to get my gummies cause they were on the 12th days of Christmas sale. I'm a newbie with the cannabis stuff and even though it was my 2nd time here I still had questions.  Thomas (I think that was his name - East Asian), super nice guy and took his time explaining things.  He didn't make me feel intimidated.  I really appreciated that!

The check in process for new clients was super easy and quick. We felt no pressure to buy anything (although we did)...we loved the freedom of walking around this beautiful place and looking and touching the product. When we were ready a super friendly gentleman helped us with our questions and as new customers we felt heard and we didn't feel like we were being annoying (we felt rushed at another club). We really loved at Caliva that our Budtender was the expert and made suggestions and offered feedback instead of expecting that we should know what to get. We walked out of there faithful customers of Caliva & knowledgeable of what we should buy and what we shouldn't based of issues that we are facing.

I've worked at Caliva on the eaze team since late January 2019. It's always a breath of fresh air when I arrive. It's like the problems in my day all expire when I arrive to work. Great co-workers, management and facility. I also like how they embrace tech and utilize it to make the experience for customer and employee very smooth. Also our products are expertly produced and packaged.

This is a great dispensary, the employees (ESPECIALLY Lisa) did a great job of making me feel welcomed even on this busiest of days. It was such a fun experience and cool place to go. And even though the wait was a little over 20 minutes, being 4/20 I was actually fine with it. Also, they had a magician and a ton of free swag which surely helped! I gave this collective 2 stars due to the cleanliness of the inferior. I'm a huge Leafly contributor so when I discovered that there was a #1 collective in my hometown I was excited to check it out! This is how it went:1. You park, walk up to the security guard that checks for valid Rec & ID2. Walk through the front door, but first you have to fight the disgusting swarm of flies blocking your path. 3. Walk to the receptionist who is fairly nice but lazy as f. She didn't get up from her seat once and all I saw were her eyes and nose from where she was seated. 4. She checks you in and says "you're good to go" But doesn't tell me where to walk, where to go. (Mind you I am a 1st time patient) 5. I walk in to a clean looking facility, and there were 3 budtenders present, I was "served" by a woman with no eagerness whatsoever to help me or answer ANY of my questions. She stood there blankly looking at me. Never have I been to a collective where the if you were a first time patient they didn't give you a brief overview of their meds. 5. I asked to see a few of the best flowers they had to offer, she pointed to the connoisseur shelf and said in a smart tone, "well it's gonna be the connoisseur shelf" as if I was supposed to know that! Ok we'll, if she would have properly gave me a introduction as a FTP then I would have known. But no such care was provided as standard as that is! 6. Annoyed as she looked, she brought out like 5 strains, just put them right in front of me with no explanation, no comments, I wasn't sure if I was allowed to touch them, or feel them. So if she didn't tell me anything I just went for it. I touched the bud. The DRY ASS sample that were so dry the crystals were no longer evident! And she said, "uh can u not?" And handed me a pair of tongs, again with NO reasoning. So I asked her, what can I do with these tongs. Can I squeeze the bud with them?? Can I take the bud out??? Seriously, I felt like i was doing her job for her!! She brought out a few indica, sativa, and hybrid. The samples had no name under the jar, the lid was the only identifiable way to differentiate the strains. The indica smelled like a straight up sativa. So I'm about 100% sure the samples got mixed around previously. Anyway, they do not provide any FTP deal or ftp freebies, but they do offer a free joint for your 2nd visit. Referrals receive a free gram, but the FTP doesn't... strange! Their grams range from $10 (low shelf) up to $20+ Their top shelf is $16/g (seemed like a mid shelf to me, the nose was gone, the appearance was disappointing to say the least! Their selection is rather limited. They sell Caliva gear. Won't be back!

Went there for the first time today, was rather nervous. Despite being really packed and busy, Kasen was very sweet and super helpful. He recommended to me several quality products without feeling like he was force selling expensive things down my throat. Will definitely come again!

Been here a few times already, and always have a great experience. The products themselves might be a bit pricier than in other places, but the customer service and quality is top notch. They also often have solid deals. Special thanks to Toki, she's now my favorite budtender. Very helpful and friendly, with really interesting tattoos. Will definitely keep coming back.

This was my 2nd time at Caliva. Place is super clean and professional. Blake Peckham was the person helping me out and I have to say, his customer service was off the hook. I couldn't have been happier with my experience. Will be coming here for all my cannabis needs moving forward.

The customer service here is beyond satisfactory. Today, Breanna informed me of many great suggestions on the menu with the most positive attitude every customer should receive. She helped me to decide on purchasing a half ounce of tree which left me walking out happy as can be. Another great experience thanks to the awesome menu and remarkable customer service from Breanna. I used their delivery service for the first time and it was excellent. They did a great job of updating me on the driver's location. The driver was very friendly and polite. They now take debit cards for delivery. My 3 star rating is about their product. I purchased a Caliva branded vape cartridge (pillow talk) and it was awful. It had a dreadful, musty taste. The taste is so off putting, that I find it unusable. Very disappointing.Update 12/16/18 Same woman contacted me again, but between stage IV cancer and still working full time, I was not able to get back to her. Happy she made the effort.Today, I had a delivery issue, which is partially my fault. Having ordered twice from Caliva and paid with a debit card, I assumed I would be able to do so today. Went on line, ordered, noted that site still said debit cards could not be used to tip the driver, so I thought everything would go as smoothly as the first two deliveries. The driver arrived (after 2 1/2 hours) and told me no debit cards! Since they had been accepting debit cards for delivery, and then stopped, I think that should have been made VERY obvious during the ordering process. If you accept a certain form of payment, and then stop accepting it, it should be noted in a clear and transparent manner. Very disappointing.* Update- A woman (manager?) from Caliva contacted me and offered to help me find something more to my taste. I explained that it was not a matter of taste or personal preference, rather that the cartridge tasted musty, as in old and bad. I am an experienced user (7 not so fun years with metastatic cancer) and this was not a taste anyone would prefer! No response from Caliva.

I made an order online to be picked up curbside. I live in Fremont so I headed out right after placing my order thinking by the time I got there it would be ready. So I drove about 35 mins to get there just to receive a text letting me know that my order was ready and to REMIND me that they would not be able to serve me if I had anyone under the age of 21 with me. Umm you can't be reminded of something you're hearing for the first time!! I had my 2 young kids with me that's why i ordered curbside! It didn't occur to me and I would totally understand if i would have known before I placed my order and made the drive!!!! So then I tried to call them to see if I could at least get it delivered but there was no way to contact an actual person so by this point I'm really annoyed. I called the number online and then I called the number that texted me, first time went to voicemail second time they just hung up because it only rang twice before going to voicemail. Texted the number and told them about my problem and they responded saying, "it's in the conformation text". So I went back to my emails to re-read the 2 emails I had received from them and no where in either email nor on the website when I was placing my order does it say that! When I told them that, they just stopped replying all together. Couldn't even be bothered with an apology.

Yesterday was my first time ever at dispensary, I am so glad I came here. I have skin issues and was told that cannabis oils can help. From the moment I walked in I felt so comfortable, I didn't know what to expect. The woman who took care of me (I didn't get her name but she is African American and was AWESOME)......I didn't know anything about what I should try but she helped me pick out a few things that should help with my Psoriasis.....This was some of the best customer service I have had in years.....Thank you so much for making me feel welcomed (I was a tad nervous going by myself for the first time)......I pray that the two products will help and if does....."I WILL BE BACK".......Happy New Year
