Best selection of flower in the state. Clean, friendly people & aesthetic interior.  Parking is street orA public lot down the block.  Never needed the publicLot yet.

I'm trying to let a NJ dispensary be what it is rather than contrast it to the California dispensaries I'm used to, but it was a bit disappointing. The check-in procedure was fine/helpful, but there was some tweaker pacing around the lobby on a cellphone acting hyper and weird, and the staff were way too tolerant of him. I was hoping a NJ dispensary would've kicked him out. Times have changed and NJ is a lot softer than when I grew up here. I was hoping for some neat ganja like edibles, kif, and/or hashish, but this dispensary had none of these things. The flower selection seemed decent, and I bought a tincture. Overall, a bit pricey. You order off a tablet menu rather than seeing the medicine, which was annoying. I like analog ganja, but there's a lot of digital tech at this place, vaporizers etc. As so many things in NJ, it's trying to upscale, but comes across as a bit pretentious. The budtender, Emily, was a bit off her game and kinda low-energy, but she did ok. Again, I've seen really awesome CA dispensaries, so I think NJ is still learning. Phillipsburg is a busy little town with a weird Pennsylvania energy. It was easy to park and the dispensary is in a good location between two towns w/ lots to do/see, and the Delaware River in between. It's funny being from the Bay Area, where there are as many dispensaries in San Francisco alone as the entire state of NJ, but NJ is moving toward recreational marijuana, so it's a gradual process.

My wish for Apothecarium and TerrAscend (their grower) is that the buds be  slightly less dry and a bit bigger.  That being said, the bud smokes very smoothly and tastes great.Overall, excellent service, super friendly people, great environment.I visited on their first day open, so I understand it takes time to dial things in, but here are a couple of notes for improvement: 1. Inconsistencies between the printed literature, the website, and the product packaging.  2. Would love a break down of terpenes in each strain, and hybrid percentages, on the website and/or on the product label.3. Flower is $60/3.5g, but they have a version of the same flower called "littles", which are littler buds.  One of the regular sized 1/8ths that I bought seemed like it was already "little-ified". As noted up top, buds are a bit small even in the $60 flower.4. $60 is on the high end, and that's pre-tax.  The good news is that NJ is only 6.625%, and that's the only tax you pay.  Still ends up being $64.20 per eighth. I'm willing to pay a premium price, but want the product to match the price.  Apothecarium is very close to being my favorite NJ dispensary, just a bit of fine tuning needed. Awesome product and friendly staff in a cool building. What's not to like? I'm really happy they finally opened up. Tired of driving over an hour away for medicine. Very satisfied with the quality of their product so far. Staff is awesome!

Great product selection.  Store is very clean and staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful.  Privacy is respected and very professional atmosphere.

Friendly staff, beautiful building, dank bud...what more could ya want!!  Seriously though, everyone here is extremely friendly and welcoming. No need to be anxious/nervous about going in. If you have any questions it's no problem, everyone is happy to help. Location is perfect, never have an issue finding parking. Bring a quarter for the meter, it last an hour. The building is absolutely beautiful and well-kept. No disappointments here

This was my first visit to this dispensary, I usually visit other places , but I was happy to finally visit a dispensary closer to home ( I live in Sussex County ) A very good experience, very clean, and helpful staff. The only thing missing in my opinion is on site parking, although I had no problem parking I went there on a Sunday and being disabled it’s very difficult to walk.They had a nice assortment of medicine to choose from and knowledgeable staff to help you with your choice. I’ll definitely be a return customer and think you should give them a try.

Husband's first visit to this dispensary and described it as clean, easy to read signage and most helpful staff. (We are waiting for NJ to allow edibles to become available.) The only desirable suggestion would be, to have the benefits of each strain they have to offer, readily available online or even pamphlets. I'd like to be able to make my choice of purchase prior to arrival (based on my symptoms) bring the exact amount of cash for a smooth transaction.

I don’t usually leave reviews but Apothecarium, Phillipsburg is by far my favorite dispensary in NJ. I’ve been to every dispensary in the state and I can always count on this one to provide the best products. I’ve been with Apothecarium since it opened here in Phillipsburg and it has exceeded my expectations. The in-house flower is truly amazing, they have a strain for everyone. Though, the staff is really what makes my rating 5 stars. They are very friendly and very knowledgeable about what they’re selling. I look forward to every visit.

The Staff, the Atmosphere, the cleanliness, is above and beyond. Everyone is so friendly. They greet me by name remember things we have talked about its like family... Absolutely love going there wouldn't go anywhere else.
