I'm surprised there aren't more reviews of Sol but it is kind of a hidden gym on Old 395 near the Chocolate Nugget. First off, when you go inside it's a very welcoming presence at the front desk where the person isn't hidden behind glass like I'm a criminal. After that you get buzzed into the door to the product and crop viewing area and let me tell you it's the best experience I've had at any dispensary. You can really hang out and talk with other customers or the staff. You DO NOT feel rushed and the staff is so knowledgeable with great prices.You can see their grow house when they have plants going which they had some young plants going last time I was there but they're sun grown and organic. You can also see the shop where they make their edibles and then hang out on the deck, weather permitting. Check out Sol and enjoy getting to know the staff because they will take care of you!

I first came to Sol on a Saturday as they advertised live music on the patio...at a Dispensary, oh and spaghetti. I had to check it out. Turns out they have great prices, an amazing staff that is knowledgeable and friendly. I have been going every other Saturday since that first day on the patio.This is hands down the best dispensary in the Truckee Meadows. Oh and the chocolate factory being next door is a bonus.

I love the energy of Sol, from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. The  employees are always friendly, beyond helpful with recommendations & we never feel rushed. They have a pretty sweet deal at the moment, half oz - mix & match 1/8ths for $100. They have displays of flower to smell and see to help you decide.  My only complaint, I wish the terp & lab results were on the floor without having to ask to see them. The employees are always happy to talk testing results and make recommendations based on what you're looking for. We appreciate the genuine customer care provided and knowing that Sol really just wants to make sure you leave with what you want. Their website has all of their discounts listed, as well as their menu. Their prices are pretty good compared to those in Reno. We tend to shop around based on sales & product availability. Sol has great prices & awesome selection of flower (maybe 20+ strains?) They also have a cool labeling system so consumers know what they're in for on each product when they get home (indica, sativa, hybrid).Depending on what time of year you visit, their grow (cultivation) can be viewed from the lobby. Its stunning! I hate that I always forget to take pics. I also loved seeing the support of local artists (Prism Magic) to make their tie-dye shirts! Sol is a great addition to our Northern Nevada community!

This place so far has one of the nicest facilities I've been to. They've got some interesting products to choose from, and the staffs here are super friendly and professional! Really recommend to stop by if you're in the area.

Made my first trip yesterday and i dont think i will be back. Very friendly service and had a spanking new lobby area. I picked up a quarter of their "award winning" grandaddy purple. I wasnt impressed with anything about it. First off, it was harvested in 12/18. Its dry af, smells like dirt and just tastes old. I paid roughly $80 for this quarter and its probably one of the worst purchases ive ever made at any dispensary.

Would like to give a better rated review but unfortunately they have a glaring issue that can not be overlooked.  They are friendly, offer a wide variety of strains, usually.  I have even used their delivery service.  But I prefer to visit in person as i like walking in and seeing what they have growing.  But my issue is with their labeling of their strains.  They label hybrids as indica or sativa when they clearly are not.  They have a system where they can separate them into 4 categories which would be great if they only used it properly.  I for one hate smoking hybrids as they increase my anxiety, which is why I only like to smoke indica or sativa.  Hard to medicate properly when place i buy can't be honest about the medication.  The in store menu of strains is different that the online ordering menu too.  Chemdawg is listed as sativa on store menu but hybrid on online ordering menu.  Which is it?  Had to look it up just so I didn't medicate with wrong product.  It's a hybrid, good thing I didn't order it.  I have even mentioned this strain issue to several of the budtenders and was promised they would "work on it ".  Alas they have not, they continue to mislead, too bad.  Prices are decent if you can figure out what you really want and house edible gummies are ok too.  They need to offer more choices of sativa and indica and label correctly.  Way too many hybrids to be well rounded offerings.Really hope they fix this huge issue to help become a trusted suppliers of a wonderful healing natural medicine that so many need to survive.  Help us trust you!!

One of the nicest facilities in Nevada (I've been to most of them), friendly and knowledgeable staff, great products consistently, always meeting or exceeding safety and quality standards, and my go to place for organically grown cannabis products! Go check out the deals, talk to an employee to learn more about cannabis, and enjoy the buzz!  *Consume responsibly, keep marijuana out of reach from children!!!

The atmosphere at SoL is simply awesome! When you walk in the front door you feel a welcoming energy. Love that you can see the huge green house, and that they have a platform to stand on so that you can get an even better view of the most epic plants. I sat in the seating area chatting with the owner Ed, and it was just such a nice and relaxing environment. Ed by the way, is very knowledgeable, open to questions, and listens to any concerns you may have. He definitely steered us in the right direction. I also was very impressed at how clean and organized the whole place was. The prices and quality of the product are bar none! In speaking with Ed, he talked about how he is looking forward to opening up for music and feeding peeps again. He is definitely about giving back, and community! This place is top notch!

Wow! What an incredible experience this place has a wonderful selection, knowledgeable staff and is definitely leading the dispensary set up. I loved the waiting areas, visibility into the grow house, and display tables before you reach the bud tenders. Would love to come back here and experience this place again, sad we don't live closer! Prices on dab and oils were a little high for being half a gram. Great selection of flower.

One of the greatest places to shop in the entire country. Their friendly staff and super service allows me to make the best decisions with my money. Besides the amazing products, the facility is amazing, you can see the farm right there!! Go there, experience cannabis as it should be and you'll find out why Sol is better.

My review is based on my band having played a Saturday afternoon/evening music event on the deck with a gorgeous view. As far as dispensaries go, this place is beautiful. Very nice layout inside, and where else can you view a sunlit greenhouse with rows and rows of green cannabis from a comfy lounge area? I still can't believe this is actually now a thing, and even though I very occasionally partake of the herb, it's pretty damn cool.The owners and budtenders are almost friendly to a fault. For our event they provided a gratis pulled-pork BBQ with great cole slaw and mac salad, and the house sound system did the job. Can't say when I've had a lower stress, high enjoyment gig. Paid well, fed well, treated well. From the happy faces on the customers, I'd say they just know how to treat folks right.This is what the future of legal weed should and will hopefully be. If I'm in the market for some kind bud, I'll make the drive to this bomb-ass oasis in Washoe Valley.

Amazing Staff and Amazing Products!!! Highly recommend!We were in town on vacation and stopped by and so glad we did. We got to ask lots of questions and the Staff was extremely patient and knowledgeable.

Amazing facility and the staff was beyond helpful. I had researched Sol before my trip to Lake Tahoe and couldn't wait to visit. Definitely not disappointed. Can't wait for my next trip to Nevada so I can go back!

SoL is going to be the most popular dispensary in Reno area! This is the only dispensary in NV that grows the Cannabis on site. Super cool vibe, outdoor chill area, slide mountain views, and growing opportunity for an amphitheater. Make sure to go see Eric when you go! He is very knowledgeable about all the products. If you have medical needs he is your guy! He took the time with me to show me all the products and gave me a pre-roll for my bday!

Lots to choose from. Knowledgeable service. I would highly recommend this place. It was busy when I went at almost closing time but I was taken care of right away.

Sun gown in Washoe Valley  will always taste and make you feel better that  warehouse grown stuff from Sparks.  These guys are all about quality and customer service.  Just look at tall the awards they've won! Keep your money local .  Buy fromt he good guys!

Sol has to be one of the dopest dispensaries EVER. I love the modern, clean feel and of course the big windows to see all the beautiful growing plants! There's sniff jars to smell flower and there were really great specials when we went during the Harvest Fest and free shirts. Thank you Erick for making it such a great experience!! He was so knowledgeable and personable, I also love that he labeled the products "night" and "day" to make things easier for my parents. It's the little things in life:)

I make the drive from Spanish Springs to come here every now and then and every time I do I have a great experience. The budtenders are knowledgeable and the product is awesome. I love how you can see the plants when you first walk in. Live music on Saturdays!!! Photo is of Super Glue

Hands down the best dispensary in town. We have been going since it's opening  and never been disappointed! The staff  is amazing  and Ed is a great guy that gives back to our community. It's the only place in town that has great music along with free food and you can see the actual plants in their green house on site.

My dad takes medicinal marijuana for severe back pain. He has had many medical procedures but the only thing that helps him is medical marijuana. He ran out and we tried every place in Reno including where he usually buys his " gummies " .  I had been in SOL once before when I was trying to help him. I was amazed at how clean it was . And the staff was so helpful and kind. They told me they have live music and food on Saturday nights , and I can't wait to try that out!! Now that most dispensaries are closed due to the virus , I was desperate to help my dad. I remembered SOL and called them and left a message . I received a call back immediately and they guided me through registration on line, and then they delivered my dads medical marijuana the same day! The product was superior to any he had purchased before ( organic too) . From my heart I thank Ed and Eric for all they did for my dad. I recommend them without reservation. FromMy first phone call to the delivery they went above and beyond for us. If you give SOL a try I can assure you that you will find it an excellent experience.

This place is just... wow. It's so nicely set up, everything is clean and organized. They offer free beverages to enjoy while you're browsing around or even just sitting and relaxing in the environment. I couldn't believe how friendly and helpful the budtenders were! They don't make you feel silly for asking questions and they truly want to make sure you get what you're wanting instead of just pushing the pricey stuff on you. My first trip here was so enjoyable. And my second visit was for my grandmother who knows pretty much nothing in the field and they treated her with such respect. I was so happy to see how they were with her. They have concerts regularly and offer free delicious food. If you're a first time customer, you'll usually get some sort of discount or free item. I myself got a couple coupons for 1 cent joints with my next purchase. I don't think I'll ever go to any other dispensary and I'm bummed I waited so long to visit this place. Thank you!

Sol Cannabis is hands down the BEST dispensary we have ever visited. Their facility is so bright, so clean and so inviting, which only hints at the terrific product they grow and sell. The owner, Ed, is incredibly knowledgeable and so friendly. Live music, food, and just a terrific atmosphere all make Sol Cannabis a really special place. All of their products that we've tried have been excellent. Their chocolates are exceptional, as is their flower. Gummies, pre-rolls and cartridges are great, as are their prices. Don't spend your time tooling around on WeedMaps. Just go straight to Sol Cannabis-you WON'T be disappointed.

I was in the area from out of town and stumbled across this awesome dispensary.They had a great selection of great bud that they grow themselves.They also let you mix and match strains to make up your 1/2   ounce.this is such a great option so you can try more types of tasty goodness.Karisa helped me and she was amazing with her knowledge and strain recommendations.I will definitely be back when I'm in the area

Had my first experience at Sol today and I was not dissapointed. The facility itself blows you away in size alone. Peering in on the all naturally sourced grow from the waiting lobby you see the true farm to table. The staff are highly knowledgeable and friendly, Eric assisted me in finding the best strain for my mood. Suggesting the limoncello I found the indica strain very tasty perfect for a heavier smoker as myself. If your in the south Reno area looking for the real deal stop by here.

Buyer Beware! The facility is beautiful but you can look right thru all that glass and see the powdery mildew on the plants! No bueno!

I'm my opinion this is the best dispensary in town. Of all the ones I have been to this one is my favorite. It's on my end of town which is nice, plenty of parking. Even if you don't live in South Reno I think SoL is worth the drive and a must see. The first thing you see once you are check in is a lounge area with full view of their greenhouse. There is a tea and coffee station just before you walk down the large hall way. In the hallway before you get to the bud-tender counters there are several merch and product display cases. The are large digital menu display boards on the wall as well as the see and smell containers with buds of what they currently have in stock. (Yes buds, not "flower", sorry I'm not a hipster douche bag, I don't think I'll ever get used to saying "flower". Sorry, not sorry.) I really liked that you could peruse in the hallway before you get to the counter. There is no feeling of being rushed or pressured. My husband and I have been here twice and we love it. The last time we came was for the Black Friday sale and it was amazing, I saved $78. I also picked up a CBD bath bomb which was amazing. My favorite part is the outdoor patio with comfy furniture and a killer view of Slide Mountain. Even if this place won't be your main shop, you should check it out. It is a beautiful facility and the staff is amazing!

I LOVE SoL Cannabis. The location is gorgeous, the grow their own organic weed in house that gets the lovin' of our beautiful sun. The staff is so wonderful. I recently got two strains of weed, I tried the candy land last night and had the best feeling. Talk about a wonderful way to boost your mood! Every Saturday they do free shows and music, I went yesterday and had the best time. It seems like everyone I have met at this place seems to be in a good mood and ready to mingle. Thank goodness for places like this. It gives the hippies a nice place to come together and just relax in the beautiful location of Washoe Valley. Sending light and love to all of you SoL people :)

THE BEST dispensary in Northern Nevada. The people there are awesome, prices are great, selection is phenomenal and the facilities are impressive. It's a very cool building that you need to check out if you haven't been there. There's a huge glass wall where you can actually view the growing crops.

Very friendly and informative. They have a very welcoming atmosphere. We weren't sure what to purchase ( I have moderate joint paint and wanted to try a cbd/ thc lotion) and Karisa our bud tender guided us through their selection and was extremely informative. Hands down the best. On top of the great customer service they have amazing views of the sierras. The drive alone is great for the scenery.

I came here on the advice of a friend, and am so thankful for that friend! I've been a Silver State loyal since day one but am quite sure I've been won over by SOL! I've yet to encounter bad service at any dispensary,  but the staff here has friendly helpful attitudes that definitely go above and beyond all others.  Our first visit we were gifted with discounts, freebies, and a gift card to one of our local restaurants.   Small Local businesses supporting small local businesses ?? Be still my heart!! The waiting area, though closed due to covid, is super inviting and comfy with views of all their drool-worthy plants.  Overall,  its a very welcoming and warm atmosphere, with prices that cant be beat! Its worth the drive for the experience and the specials for sure!

Ok SoL, is that really your featured photo?  This is such a beautiful establishment that it needs to be seen.  Right when you pull up, what a neat place on Earth to be, enjoy.  Then you walk in and wow!  Stop in your tracks look at what's behind the glass.  That's all I have to say, go chill.

Walked in, didn't know what to expect, needed a CBD oil for anxiety, and walked in to see a gigantic garden with a gorgeous lobby.  I love the farm to table thing.  Really proud that we offer a full service organic farm and dispensary in northern Nevada as a whole but it's a showstopping lobby they have there.  Super fast, normal budtenders who are willing to slow down and answer questions.  Everyone needs to go and check it out, if you're a tourist this is definitely on your need to see list.
