I've been here multiple times since this location opened, and I've had wonderful customer service every single time. Today hasn't been the best day, and Andrew was so kind and talked with me for a few minutes. His kindness was so appreciated and needed. I'll definitely be back!

Before even being able to buy anything, I asked the male secretary to sanitize his hands due to covid and everything. This immediately made him angry enough to curse and kick me out of the store. Horrible customer service.

If you are someone who hasn't used before and you purchase something recommended to you by the staff at RISE and you try it once and it gave you 'tremors' why can't you return it?  It's unfathomably expensive to begin with, so why not offer at least an exchange.  The taxes are really high, too, making it even more infuriating that it can't be returned or exchanged if it had an adverse effect. How do I dispose of this garbage?

The incessant Greetings from every single employee in the store is borderline harassment, & I'm not exaggerating here literally every single employee gave me the super fake enthusiasm, "HEY! How's it going?!" Over & over and over in front of each other almost as if it were a joke. It's worse than the mall, at a store like pac-sun.. where Every employee is made to say hi & be super fake nice, it's almost offensive. Just be REAL! It's a weed store, I don't need to be guided around like a farm animal on a landing strip. It's ridiculous, GET IT TOGETHER.

This serves as my back up dispensary (right behind Windy City Cannabis) and I don't think I'll be come anymore. The prices are seriously not worth what it is. I know it's not the specific store's fault but the prices are not at all competitive and the rewards program is a literal joke, 100 points = 3 dollars off, when I was told that I actually laughed out loud thinking it was a joke. I recommend saving your money and going somewhere a little less corporate where customer satisfaction is higher on the list of things the company is striving for.

I'll start this by saying I believe in a business's right to choose and enforce policies and I was trying to abide by the posted mask policy at Rise. While going in to pickup my online order on Saturday 10/23 at approximately 6:20, I donned my mask while walking in and had my wallet in my hand. As I pulled my ID out of my wallet my mask slipped off my right ear - sorry, I thought I had it on and it appears my beanie had obstructed it from getting around my ear. While I still had my wallet in one hand and my ID in the other, the owner (she said she was) goes "you can put your mask on, all the way up above your nose, your spreading germs everywhere." To be fair, I was reaching for my mask after I handed my ID to her. Being quite snidely verbally accosted by someone whose business I regularly patron is disappointing, to say the least. You don't know why people are coming in for cannabis and you belittle them like that, it's sad really. I hope she can get to a place where she can express love and compassion first.

Ordered online and picked up in store, went smoothly. Pricing is high but that is due to taxes and it being new to IL. Easy to order and straight forward. Took less than 10 min.

Never understood why people are crybabies on coming into a Highly Regulated cannabis store. They ask everyone and being asked to stand in a certain lines. Not just YOU. Also, c'mon...you want to ask a guy who IS NOT going to touch your weed to sanitize their hands? Grow up. Honestly, if you don't come into get your weed so you can leave and go home and laugh...stop smoking weed. You clearly aren't benefiting from it. Me, on the other hand, I like the place. No complaints. Oh wait, maybe cause I'm a grown up who understands how to act in life. If getting mad because someone who works there being nice makes you mad, stay home....like forever.

I was a regular here until recently when a cashier was veryrude to me when I asked about the application of Senior and Militarydiscounts. I emailed both the store and GTI which owns Rise. Neitherhad the courtesy to respond to my emails. I have noticed that this locationdoesn't seem to respect their clients and do not seem to understandthe workings of the Retail Industry. I guess they believe that there is so much business available to them that they don't need to offer customary customer service but once the competition comes Rise will have to change it's attitudeor fall to the wayside like so many poorly operated retailers of the past.I will NO LONGER do business with this company. I found a couple that are far better so I guess that's the silver lining.

This was my first time I tried out RISE. I want we to order online in advance to help get an idea of what RISE has and some details about their products. The online store was helpful and placed my preorder for pickup the next day.I arrived and checked in once I arrived. Since I preordered the staff got me to the checkout / pickup line. It moved pretty quickly to get to the point of picking up. When I arrived at the window I told them my order info and my proof of ID. Everything was ready to go and just had to pay and was on my way.Fun staff and appreciate their customer service. I'm all about it a friendly staff and they made the experience fun but professional. Especially since this was my first visit I really liked the guidance and my experience was very good overall.They were very busy but it was midday visit and was a weekend so somewhat expected. The flow was very good though and was on my way within 10 mins. I would "Highly" recommend RISE in Lake In the Hills. The Goods:+The shop was very nice inside and the staff where helpful.+Good quality product+Staff was friendly+Organized shopping experience +Good online preorder experience Negatives:-Expensive (but that more due to the taxes not RISE fault)-Busy Store ( but expected on a Sunday)

I don't get all the crybabies whining about the mask policy or the constant greetings the store employees give you, it's their job, and it's a great dispensary with friendly staff and fast service, even on busy days I stand in line at most for 5 minutes, little pricy though but it's good quality stuff that they sell.
