No lines. No traffic jams. Wicked nice staff. Couldn't be easier. Oh, and Friendly's is literally next door.

My favorite dispensary in Massachusetts! My wife & I have visited every recreational dispensary, and Sanctuary Medicinals is a cut above the rest. The lines are rarely long, the inventory always has goodies you can't get elsewhere (Space Dust anyone?), and to be honest their quality of green is what I would expect -- which can't always be said of other places.I drive over an hour one way to get here, passing multiple other dispensaries along the way... I highly recommend going here!

From start to finish, Sanctuary Medicinals is an incredibly smooth and enlightening experience for anyone looking to purchase cannabis. The staff is very friendly, and always treat the customers with the utmost respect. The budtenders are knowledgeable in every aspect of knowing their cannabis. At the point-of-purchase, the staff ensures that you are getting quality product, as they inspect the packaging with the customer and show that all packaging has been sealed properly for maximum freshness. Out of all dispensaries in New England, this has been the one that I've had the most enjoyable experience at.

Although my earlier one star may have been the result of a newly formed rec side, I'm changing my stars to three. The high prices may be a factor(s) that is out of Sancs control (taxes) and the small nugs may be a result of needed growing practices and limited space allocation. Their flower terp profile is top notch and their organic growing practices result in a pleasing and potent smoke. Also, their customer service, unnoticed on my part before, is excellent. Would recommend to others.

I'm sad to say I had a very unpleasant visit today, here at sanctuary med. Gardner. I'm a med patient. I'm not a math teacher or anything, but when you buy 2 grams of shatter at their price of 60$ a piece that ( ='s )  120$ (total) I'm suppose to receive a 10% discount on all product. ( that should be 6$ off a gram ) After my discount I was charged (117$) At that time, I left and didn't think anything of it but after leaving I started thinking and doing math in my head and it didn't add up correctly to me. I called back after already driving 15 mins down the road. the lady who answered told me she had to talk to her manager and would call me back. I had to keep driving home to tend to personal matters. I received a call back from the manager (which was nice) and I was told that they had given me the right discount. I tried to explain to her I had bought the same amount two times before and didn't pay that much before. she looked back at previous purchases and stated that I was undercharged (before) and "I made out like a bandit on my previous purchase." She kindly told me I would get charged properly from now on and that for my troubles I would get 10$ off my next purchase. Well Ok, that's very generous of her, but they are not the only dispensary I shop at. Patriot charges 65$ a gram of shatter. How come when I shop at Patriot I pay 5 dollars more gram, but still pay the same price as Sanctuary, when they are charging 5 dollars less a gram? When Sanctuary charges 5$ less a gram and I pay 5$ more at a different place but get the same total product and price?? somethings fishy. I wanted to like this place (Truthfully) but after today I have sour feelings about it. ** Also it was very strange walking in and seeing WAY more staff then there were customers. Everyone just standing around chating. Looks like they were over perpared for a recreational open. (sad face*) **Also, I know the shatter stays good for about a year, but I don't like getting product that is older than a month old, the last two times I went my product was at least 4-5 months old. If you are going to sell something older than 3 months I feel as though it should be at a discounted price. Note** Getting product from November 2018 isn't really exciting when it's March 2019. Unfortunately, I don't think I will return their again to recieve my 10$ off my next purchase, UNLESS ALL other closer dispensaries don't have a concentrate that will work for me. I wanted to give the service a 1 star rating, but my bud tender happened to be very nice, knowledgeable and honest & helpful she was great.

Hands-down THE best dispensary in Massachusetts. Why? -awesome, friendly staff-on site parking -nice selection!-beautiful surrounding area for a hike-never seen a line there. Just people in and out.Yeah, yeah, it's in Gardener, but you will spend AT LEAST the time in line and being shuttled at the other places that you do driving here.

I went in yesterday driving thru Mass and wanted an easy disposable vape pen. I asked about how long it will last me and was informed two months, which was perfect because that's when I'll be back in CO. It didn't even last me a day before the battery ran out. I just called the shop to ask if I was doing something wrong and to help me troubleshoot it. It was then I was informed that these batteries (which are non-rechargeable) can run out extremely quick (literally it was less than 24 hours). I was also informed that the person at the counter should have informed me that (he didn't because if he did, I never would have spent $72 on this). Now I have a pen with no battery life, unusable product and am out $72 as the company will not do anything to fix this issue. Hugely disappointed in the customer service and the product they sold me. I definitely do NOT recommend this establishment.

The store atmosphere is very welcoming. Safe is knowledgeable and kind. The edibles teste is amazing! Couldn't recommend more.

I'm completely shocked....... I went there for the first time today and once I made it inside the front door the guy who greeted me ended up kicking me out because he mistook my questions as an attitude apparently. No one explained anything to me once I got inside about how everything works and some other people came in about 5min after me and were walking right in so when I asked about going in as well the guy said "this is a private business, you don't have be here, you can leave." Because he apparently thought I was being impatient. It's almost as if he had been waiting to use that towards someone. I don't know what was wrong with this dude but he totally took out his frustrations on me, a first time customer  who had never been in a dispensary in MA ever. This dude was a younger guy with no facial hair and brown hair and really should take a class on customer service and how to deal with people .I asked him about the difference with the distillate and shatter vape cartridges and he said one is threaded for 510 and the other is magnetic. The description in the menu sure made them look different so I asked him again "so the tank itself is the only difference, not the oil"? And I could tell he didn't like me questioning him and he took that as me giving him an attitude. So when I asked about going inside (not knowing how things worked) he kicked me out which blew my mind. Well I looked up the difference between distillate vs liquid shatter vape and there is a difference so now I'm even more pissed because I was asking a legitimate question that your employee took as me giving an attitude for whatever reason.I'm not a perfect person but I don't like being wrongfully accused as well as being made an example in front of other customers and your employees as well. It was completely uncalled for and I will make sure people know how I was treated at your store front.

The banana bread was a bit dry but  is 100% in my book..  ninja Fruit is gorgeous ! staff s knowledgeable and friendly , The store is a little small for big crowds..check out was still a breeze. small line outside even  with an appointment , once they get in the groove I believe it will be running more smooth.

I signed up for the consultation on their site but when I got to the store the security guy said I could go right in. I discussed with the cannabis experts which strain was best for energy and uplifting. They suggested Durban Poison. I also asked for the 3mg sour apple chews. They gave me a form to bring to the cashier. This store is great. There was no wait time and all and the consultation was super helpful. I was really pleased with the sativa strain I got. So far best weed store I have been to. You can park directly in the store lot also unlike some stores that make you park and take a shuttle bus. Both the gummy chews and Durban Poison were excellent.

Horrible menu. Won't combine 1/8s so you have to pay per 1/8 to get an ounce. They dont stock ounces for this purpose. The "budtender" told me this.

Aweful experience. Didn't give me the correct cartridge.  The manager did swap it out for the correct one. But still DID give me a hard time for removing the sticker label....as a frequent customer I'm obviously not going to know that you're not supposed to, specially if you're out traveling and are trying to be  discreet  . Safe to say I won't be stopping by as much as I used too. Shame.

This is the first time and will be the last time that I buy anything at Sanctuary Medicinals. Let me first say that this place is small, gloomy and poorly lit. There is very little product to choose from as well. I purchased some gummies ( there are only two edibles, lozenges and gummies). The gummies were a joke! It says to take one and in 30 to 120 minutes you should feel the effects. We felt absolutely no effects whatsoever. After 5 days in a row of trying the gummies, still no effects. They were not cheap either. 50.00 for 20. I can't believe I threw away 50.00 dollars. Sanctuary medicinals is a rip-off! You are seriously better off making your own then you can control the potency. Don't waste your time or money here. There are bigger and better dispensaries out there.

Bought a disposable pen that has 0.5ml cartridge , this product costs $60 before tax . In less than a week the product wouldn't work any longer ( and  was more than half full ) . Went back and brought the pen with me , was told that the battery must've been bad , they weren't willing to replace the product , they didn't offer any sort of a discount or refund . I myself will never spend another $ there .

they lost a biweekly med card customer today. sold me something I didn't ask for then wouldn't do anything to correct the situation.  good thing there are so many dispensaries now.

I've had nothing but positive experiences here. I've been ordering online, and I'm in and out in five minutes. No hassle and very friendly staff.

Very professional and the staff was all super nice.  Shout out to Mike for helping me pick out a strain and for just being a super nice dude. I felt like it was easy to make a choice because Mike could relate his personal experience and expertise and helped me pick out a few great choices. Plus he has an award winning smile. Mike if you're reading this, I'm not in love with you but I would die for u buddy.

Assholes ! Complete douchebags from the second you walk in the door.  No reason at all. Literally no reason. He tried giving me a menu. I said no thanks. He's like oh I guess you know everything? I'm like no I ordered online. He's like well you should of told me that once you walked in. Lol i was in there for 20 seconds . I asked him why does he act this way every time ?  Complete douchebags. Then when I'm outside texting in my car the manager walks over and tells me I better not being opening it. While he's blowing smoke in my face from cigarettes. Gives me a attitude. I would 10000000000% avoid this place I was you.

I was in there today. The staff is totally overwhelmed with how special they think they are. I was underwhelmed, for sure.They didn't impress me with anything other than  their nasty self delusion of grandeur.SO RUDE. I am a senior citizen and it was the first time ever in there and I was told to step back and not get near the guy because I was trying to look at his in "menu" . I have a vision problem. ....and he kept saying would you rather see a BUDTENDER and I said No because I didn't know what a BUDTENDER was !I went in and spoke to a young woman behind the display case and said Something to the effect of in "thank God I have somebody to talk to ". She was just as rude in her CATTY bitch face and side eye ..said" I heard him ask you three times if you wanted to see budtender!"!I straight out said"I have never been in here before and I do not know the lingo (budtender?) nor the process". She continued to be rude....I will never go there again!Worst ever. Nasty attitudes. Stuck on their capacity to be cool because they sell weed in GARDNERPlease.I was after CBD salve... which they advertise online as having -but they didn't - and something for a friend.They need to realize that not all of their clientele are well versed in the lingo or their process.One guy in the front was nice...he saw that I was  being treated badly. The  guys at the cash register were super nice.Couldn't make up for Cat Woman and the Joker in the front.

Good selection, fast service but their weights are off. 3 times now ive gotten product and its a half gram off. The pouch tares at 5 grams so the end result for an eighth should be 8.5 not just under 8. The prices are high enough without skimming from the top.

You step through the first door and some dude tells you have to order before going through another door into the store. Guy working between the doors was rude and condescending. After explaining to him I'm not ordering until I see the what I'm buying, he gave me attitude but let me through. Once in, theres not much to see- very limited options. I was really surprised by the limited selection. I'll take my business somewhere else.

I have IBS and cannot find any medicine from doctors that help. All of the doctors I've seen also don't prescribe medicinal marijuana. When I came here I was with a friend who helped me pick my products. I ended up getting 2 pre-rolled joints and the peach mango fruit chews which are like little gummies. So far I've only tried the gummies, and they are dangerously delicious. In total I spent $66 after tax. I would say it's a great deal and trustworthy source for all your needs. I can't speak to their staff as everyone I talked to very briefly was friendly. You come in to the lobby and pick your product from a paper list and a staff member will highlight your choices. You then go inside and to the register (also can talk to a budtender for any questions) the cashier will get the product and check for quality- then ring you up. No pictures allowed inside.

I bought their jolly bean crumble. The crumble itself looks good, and has a good effect. The flavor and terps did not stand out though, I used an E Rig at a good steady temp that usually I would be able to taste something, but the flavor was quite weak. Everything else about this strain is good. Would recommend.

You can't order on the website.  You have to go to another site which we did not know.  The guy who came to the car tried to rush us along and didn't answer our questions.  Then when I got out of the car to go figure it out yelled cash only across the parking lot so we got in our car and left.  Glad we didn't give them our business.  Will never go back.

Overpriced mids, boarder line war crimes against humanity serving that shit. I feel as if my uncle serving in nam copped some better quality product

Last time customer here !  Politely addressed malfunctioning carts that have been drawing concentrate straight out the top and one of the tenders acknowledged there have been issues and sent me to a manager who had to call HIS manager who said I have 72 hours to raise issue.  I buy multiple carts at a time and don't go home and stress test each of them for proper function.  I lost a substantial dollar amount of product.  I was offered a pack of rolling papers and a very kind apology and now my $3000 a year average expenditure goes somewhere else.  A single fucking pack of rolling papers. A single $3000 dollar pack of rolling papers lmao ! Between under filled or malfunctioning carts and a couple light weights on some leaf , I would recommend finding a more reputable dispensary.  When your dispensary knowingly admits to issues and still rips you off , they revert to being drug dealers. Idiot manager who had to be called probably won't care but I'd bet his boss doesn't appreciate money walking out the door.

First time recreational legally buying some herb in my life. It was very busy and was kind of surprised when the first thing they say besides asking for ID is "here's the menu, order what you want and then go in and pay for it". All of this before walking into the shop to see any actual "product".I asked if it was possible to see any samples. I was told yes and then finally allowed into the main building. The samples themselves were in small jars and not a whole lot to look at but could smell the product at least. I chose a gram of tangie cookies (tangie x thin cookies) based on being a big fan of the original girl scout cookie strain (OG Kush x Durban Poison). The sample did look/smell promising albeit a bit old/dry/mass produced.Checkout was fine and the staff was definitely  working hard.  After viewing the gram, I was pretty disappointed seeing how the display samples were much more fruitful and better looking than the gram I got. Smallish buds, on the dry side, and fairly mass produced looking. The display sample definitely had much more character defining fruitful buds.Overall, product itself was potent but wasn't mindblowing considering the price ($18 per gram w/tax included). You don't really save much in bulk buying either which is a let down. If the product was 20% cheaper, I might bump up the rating to four stars. The fact I had to ask to even look at what they had to offer before picking from the "menu" was a let down though. Maybe this is how all dispensaries work, but was expecting much more sample sizes, staff recommendations, enthuasism to show the product, etc. I will give it another try when it's less busy to see if it is any different. I do think it's awesome people can legally purchase it recreationally and not sure how other dispensaries  compare to this, but it isn't going to stop the underground from flowing any time soon. Considering there are MUCH cheaper prices, overall better quality product, and a more up close experience with the product if you know the right person...

Not only was everyone so positive, happy, welcoming and bright but they answered every question that I had. I have never had such an experience going into a business. At first I was very hesitant and nervous, but after leaving I felt so comfortable and educated!! I truly cannot give such a great review with how they made me feel. If you are feeling nervous or just curious I highly recommended Sanctuary in Gardner! Everyone is SO positive and so happy to help!!! Looking forward to my next visit!

When i have 3,500 points and I buy 6 extracts at a time, I should receive a little better than 15 $ off total. I asked if I can go outside and come in to get 15$ off each gram? They say "no" I told them... "I used come every two weeks to spend 400$", and upwards on occasion.Now I have found my spot in Maine "the way cannabis should be" @25$ a gram and the extracts are way better and fresh. 5 grams vs. 16 ?????????? I won't be back to the Sanctuary again or Massachusetts for that matter.

The security guard stopped what he was doing and went out of his way to help me today. There was no bud tender available so he filled that rolled. He even looked through the menu for me as I did not have my glasses with me! How sweet of him!!! Such a great man!
