If I could just review the security guard I would give her 0 stars. The only reason I'll keep going back is because the budtenders are SO SWEET and SO HELPFUL! I'd been there before, and like most places you take your medical card once and they keep you in the system so you don't have to keep bringing back that big piece of paper. The security guard scanned my ID and in the most rude and condescending tone said "where's your card?" and I stared at her a little shocked because I had never been spoken to like that at any dispensary and she had never asked for it at the door. She then went on a rant about how I need to have my medical card every time I go and almost refused service until I said "most places I've gone to have you bring it the first time and then keep you in the system so you don't need to keep bringing it back but it's okay I can come back with it tomorrow". She then opened the door for me and as soon as we went inside her demeanor changed completely and it was like a different person, suddenly she spoke very softly and "sweet". I then asked the super nice employee "do I need to keep bringing my medical card with me every time I come for future reference because she got mad at me outside" and he kindly said "No you don't need to keep bringing it once you're in our system you're good unless it expires and you renew it". That needs to be communicated with her. She was EXTREMELY rude and if the employees weren't so nice I would never go back.

The staff listened to my needs and recommended the right product for me. They were also very friendly. I was looking for a mainly CBD oil to put in my tea but wanted to feel very mild THC effects as well. I was recommended KIKOKO TRANQUILI - TEA. The tea made my stomach feel extremely healthy and relaxed my muscles, without an overwhelming THC high. It was very therapeutic and healthy. My stomach health has improved tremendously since trying the tea and it also helps with sleep.

I have been here twice and received exceptional customer service from Jayson, Kimbo, Jo and Katie. The facility was pristine and the selection was excellent. What stood out the most was how caring the staff was as I am sensitive individual and required a lot of hand-holding and brainstorming. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place.

All the Apothecarium locations that I have visited in San Francisco are incredible (Castro, Marina, SoMa), and this new storefront is no exception! The staff was friendly and welcoming upon check-in and the store was perfectly clean and organized. The budtender that helped me (Joe, I believe) was extremely knowledgable and helped me make my selections based on preferences and to take advantage of the deals. They have lots of great deals available so it's nice to see they are passing savings along to the customer!

Apothecariums staff was very sweet/would like to see product! Will return, glad the H&R block advisors simply moved to the west side plus there is one on Soquel- either way, they carry flow kana, big Petes and the majors- Can't wait for the state to start supporting heirloom grows again .

Outstanding Environment!!! Modern/contemporary, sterile, clean. Really nice layout plus they deliver too.  Open 12hrs. Per day a big plus and they're a 10min. Walk from the house.

This was my first time at this dispensary. I was greeted very politely and guided in. The ambience is warm and extremely clean.The young man who waited on me was so helpful and educated me on the pain patches I eventually purchased. Without his help I would have used the pain patches incorrectly. He was extremely professional and pleasant.I will continue coming here for any future purchases and will recommend it to my friends and family members.

Apothecarium won me over with their superior customer service, high-quality products, knowledgable and bright staff, and impressive decor. Pricing is on point, and the overall vibe is very high-end. It's as if I'm checking into a posh hotel! I was even walked out to my car with an umbrella in the pouring rain! I'm a customer for life. Big fan.

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff with sparkly lobby.  Lots of product options with computer monitors that show types and descriptions.

The Apothecarium is a beautiful dispensary. Even the security guard was friendly and super welcoming! Great variety of products and the staff were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of their products. Michelle was our bud tender and she was engaging and very helpful in exploring all the wonderful products.

I love this place the staff members are happy or willing to help you out and I know what you're talking about hands-down if you smoke come here!!!!

Thank you to Michelle and Joss who were a huge help in finding the right solution for my mom's aches and pains. Both spent a good deal of time listening to her issues then researching the best fit that would not make her loopy at the same time. Super clean and class act layout!  We even enjoyed the very friendly mature female security officer! From beginning to end there's definitely a professional helpful team here and we will be back!

This Dispensary is so pretty, clean, & minimalistic which i admire a lot. They seemed to have some amazing artwork hung up which was from a local artist. The Budtender that that served me was named Michelle and she was absolutely wonderful and made me feel like we were friends . (her curly hair was amazing) she gladly walked me through all the categories of flower they had in stock and she even recommended me her personal favorite, which of course i got ! The customer service is TOP TEIR i will be returning extremely soon for the rest of my life

Came in looking for CBD to ease joint/muscle pain due to a high level professional sport I'm involved with. Raz, definitely helped me navigate through their products and found the right CBD oil I was looking for. Thanks guys!

My friend told me about this establishment and because I'm in desperate need of decent sleep I thought it would be best to check it out. Mike was a delight to talk to and his associate really guided me in what to buy. Thanks gentlemen for helping a novice like me and answer all my questions. Lovely shop! Customer for life!

The Apothecarium does it again! Having just moved to Santa Cruz, I was looking for an easy, friendly experience. As soon as I walked in everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable! The Apothecarium feels more like a whole experience rather an errand, plus look at this bag!  On top of that they're soon going to start delivery!  Highly Recommend.

CALLING ALL LESBIAN STONERS ~ this is your new favorite dispensary! Butch dyke representation abound. Kimbo was our budtender, super charming and knowledgeable. Bear the security guard was funny, friendly, and nice. Vibe check! This place felt like somewhere we wanted to hang out for the rest of the afternoon. We got cannabis booze for partying, weed vape for getting thru life, and transdermal CBD balm for my injured shoulder. The weed vape vibrates when you've done a full dose so you don't burn the oil, I'm into it ~ 1000% recommend ****

I went to the Apothecarium for the first time several weeks ago and although I was a bit timid at first, the staff put me at ease and helped me through the process of finding the right product. Michelle proved to be knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely friendly. I highly recommend this shop in general and Michelle in particular.

First time at this Dispo was last 4/20 and we couldn't have asked for a better start to our favorite holiday! Everyone there was hella chill and helped us get all the goods. We returned for a second time yesterday and Michelle and kimbo were the best budtenders. They were very kind and are real with you. Highly recommend this dispo for quality. My experience here has been absolutely incredible! Beautiful interior. Super neat and clean. The staff are so kind, pleasant and informative! Spoke to Bear as I was entering and she was so sweet and chill. Kimbo, Raz and Mike are very kind and even gave me a discount for my next visit! Definitely check this dispensary out, I highly recommend you visit for the relaxing and fun atmosphere as well as their amazing product choices!

From my first experience over the phone to the moment I walked through the door, everything was lovely. Michelle was friendly, professional and I think I love her. She greeted me, gave me a small tour and helped me pick out some amazing products. I am currently enjoying her favorite :) I don't live nearby, but I will definitely be going back before I leave town and again when I return. Highly recommend this shop!
