Had to give a low rating because of the customer service. The shop is great, very clean and nice. But the guy helping us, Jonathan, hardly greeted us or tried to strike up a conversation at all. When I was asking about the rewards program he pointed at a brochure and didn't explain anything to me. Bought our stuff we chose, he didn't help with that either, and as we were walking out I said "Have a good one!" And he completely ignored me to chat with his coworker instead. Of course all this isn't too bad but it was incredibly rude to me, enough so that I will drive the extra ten minutes somewhere else to get better customer service. Usually my weed stops are pleasant and he did not make it so.

Awesome customer service.  Knowledgeable staff and I really like it when I see employees at any business who stay there long term and are steady.  It tells me they're content with their job and have a boss that's likeable and will work with you.  Nice work, Craig.  This is a good store for a first-timer or an old pro.  You will find something that will tickle your fancy here without a doubt, there's a lot to choose from and it's always changing up.  So ask questions if you have them and feel good about the information you receive here.

Awesome atmosphere! Not sure what the other persons issue with Craig was but I've never seen that staff be anything but helpful! Great products on the shelves, gorgeous interior and totally worth the drive from Gig Harbor! I highly recommend this place to everyone... Keep up the good work, Root Cellar!

This place has a really good upscale boutique vibe. Really wide selection of products and knowledgeable staff.

This guy and gal are cool beans!  Their prices are 1/3 less than North Bay which has a fake points system.  Customer service is chill.  I'm hoping they add a regulars' points system to give some discounts to those who come and go weekly.  Rave location for my vacation away from Allyn.

This is my favorite shop for many reasons. First they are friendly and knowledgeable. Second they are fair with prices. Especially considering the taxes. Easy in and out parking. I really love the feel of the store.  Very calm. Relaxing like a spa. The cherry on top is their hours.  Open so often that I never run out and have to wait or buy some where else. Thanks root cell for being there and awesome.

Thanks Yelpers, especially Jane R. - you had me at "cool beans" and you were right! I was having back spasms, knee and hip pain after our flight and driving up from SEATAC. Since THC has an undesirable effect on me, I just wanted CBD relief. The friendly ladies guided me toward a fantastic product called Dragon Balm, which has  500mg in the formula, as well as camphor, menthol, and cocoa butter. It's in a wide stick form for easy application. Also, a bath product which was a tin of fizzy salts called SOAK, containing cannabis, witch hazel and calendula. When I got to my hotel I took a hot bath using the bath bomb, then applied the Dragon Balm before crawling into bed. I awoke 9 hours later feeling like a new woman! Thanks, ladies! I appreciated your knowledge of products and the wide assortment your shop stocks. Awesome sauce!!!

My favorite place to shop  Love the staff  Always happy with the variety and prices.  Knowledgeable and helpful, Yelp is making me type a bunch of stuff or it won't post so..bottom line ROOT CELLAR ROCKS!

Adding pictures, not here to argue and didn't want to argue in person at the time either.Should be able to trust recommendations from budtenders instead of having to argue with some one who is supposed to be a professional.

The worst customer service from MANDY that we have ever received here. Please go back to Alaska Mandy. You are one rude lady. Didn't know the inventory, told us she didn't have items in when they were clearly behind the counter. Never been treated so rudely before. If she's staying we won't be back, sad.

Unfortunately, this is another dispensary in Washington I will not be going back to. Someone explain to me why it's okay for a man to cut me in line and this happened twice here and when I walked up I was greeted rudely because they thought he was before me. Then they got mad at me for asserting myself. Lol. I absolutely hate spending 80 a week to be TRIPPED OUT after smoking what I purchased because of their attitude!! Seriously considering stopping smoking weed because of all the bud tenders in Washington. I smoke for anxiety and every time I have to deal with people like this it completely destroys the purpose of spending the money on the weed. And then they said happy thanksgiving to every one in front of me and didn't say it to me and didn't even say anything after I said thank you. I am still upset about this it's been a whole day. Searching for a place with nice people.

I love this place, I was in and out within four minutes, needed a couple referrals for what I was looking for and they were helpful. Completely professional, not condescending, and it was a fantastic overall experience. Definitely coming back.

One thing I don't respect is when a company doesn't honor the Producer Processor price on their product, especially when there is a standard price in EVERY OTHER dispensary. You can find products anywhere else at the same prices, but at Root Cellar they always have to charge you an extra dollar, or even more on their product cuz you know... Their store is better or something..? I feel like it ruins the integrity that the producers are trying to build for their product, it creates inconsistency in the industry. And now I find myself not purchasing things that I would have originally purchased due to their price increase. Nice Facility that clearly wants to be known for their higher prices on products you can get right next door at Ganja Vita for the price it's supposed to be.

I’ve tried this shop multiple times and each time I’m just as disappointed as the last. The glass pieces and higher end products set the tone of a more luxury experience, however the staff ruins the ambiance almost immediately. I’ve interacted with different staff members on multiple occasions and it seems to be a universal attitude problem. I understand having an off day or being ready to go home at the end of your shift but I’ve never encountered a smile (I knows masks are a thing but your eyes still change when you smile), a friendly tone, or even a helpful suggestion. My questions have been met with obvious reluctance to look for any information they don’t know off the top of their head. Overall, I end up leaving feeling like I shouldn’t have come in in the first place. I’d love to see this change, maybe do some spying down the road at your competition for customer service tips.

Great friendly staff. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Good selection and nicely kept store. I'll be back.

The root cellar is a cool place. Such a great staff. And great prices. Nice selections of smoking pipes and bongs. Only place I go. Thanks Root Cellar!

Okay regardless on Yelp or here on Google 5 stars for this place forget anything else you’ve heard. Every single staff member is simply amazing whether we talking Marsha, Eric, Kim, Mandi, JD doesn’t matter each one of these people will help you anyway you can. If looking for a place to stop in and get amazing product as well as customer service this is your place. Won’t spend my money anywhere else.
