Overview
Cherry Diesel, also known as Cherry Turbo Diesel, is a well-balanced hybrid created by crossing Cherry OG and Turbo Diesel, originally bred by MTG Seeds. It has a pungent, cherry-forward flavor with sweet diesel undertones and a smooth, satisfying smoke. The effects are energizing rather than calming, delivering motivation and a creative lift that makes it a popular choice for tackling tasks or working through mundane chores, before mellowing into a comfortable, loose-limbed comedown later in the session.
Strain Helps With
Cherry Diesel is commonly used for anxiety, depression, and stress, with its uplifting, motivating effects providing a mood boost throughout the day. Some also use it to support focus during creative or repetitive tasks, as well as to ease nausea and stimulate appetite. Because it leans energizing, it works well for wake-and-bake sessions and daytime use.
Terpenes
Cherry Diesel's profile typically features caryophyllene, limonene, and humulene. Caryophyllene adds a peppery, spicy note, limonene contributes citrus-like zest that supports the strain's mood-lifting effects, and humulene rounds out the profile with earthy, woody depth that echoes the diesel side of its lineage. Some phenotypes also show a subtle floral linalool presence that adds complexity to the finish.
Parents
Cherry Diesel is a cross of Cherry OG and Turbo Diesel. Cherry OG contributes a fruity cherry sweetness along with an OG-style body warmth, while Turbo Diesel adds an energizing, giggly lift, together producing a strain that balances flavor with functional, uplifting effects. Originally bred by MTG Seeds, it has since become a recognizable name across dispensary menus in several legal markets.
